This shirt is true to size...maybe slightly bigger. The quality of the flannel is top-notch. True to Carhartt quality, it's thicker fabric giving warmth and softness. I highly recommend it.
I've worn Carhartt flannels for years, I saw the patterns this year and was very excited! But I after trying the shirt on, I had to send it back for a refund. I'm a size small, and I have unusually long arms. I've enjoyed that the shirts aren't too tight, but yet, still have a tailored look so I can still look feminine- the cut of this Hamilton shirt was very blousy and did not flatter at all. But that I could have lived with, it's just a preference. What I could not live with is despite my long arms, the sleeves still came down past my knuckles in length- this would be so cumbersome when trying to work in the shirt as the sleeves would constantly be falling in the way. I even spoke with customer service to verify that the shirt was the correct measurements and that it wasn't a mistake. They confirmed that the sleeve measurements were correct. I just can't imagine who that length sleeve works for unless you are rolling up the sleeves anyway. I'm very sad this shirt fit me so poorly.

This flannel is cozy and warm, perfect layer for skiing or a chilly day in the woods.

I have five of these. They are the only shirts with sleeves long enough for me (and I'm only 5'8".) Excellent quality, I just hang them up to dry after machine washing, and they hold their shape well.
The shirt is very thick and comfy. Well made. Needs a ironing if you want a more crisp look. Fits a size larger than normal sizing. Love it.
I absolutely love these shirts, so comfy and warm. I wear them every day in the winter here in Alaska. They're very durable. I look forward to the new fabrics every year. I have several that I've had for 8 or so years and they still look new. Can't say enough about them.
I REALLY LOVE THIS THIS FLANNEL SHIRT, NOT TOO WARM, THE BEST FOR THE AUTUMN IN MINNESOTA.. YOU CAN USE THIS IN WINTER TIME FOR INDOORS. BECAUSE NO MATTER THAT ALL THE BUIDINGS ARE HEATED, MOST OF THE TIME YOU NEED TO USE SOME WARM CLOTHES. I BOUGHT 3.
