The Waterproof Insulated Quilted Knit Cuff Glove features:
Warm fit great, pull tabs on wrists are great for getting on. Sometimes its a little tricky to get my little fingers positioned right to slide in finger holes. Definitely not for chores, but are great for snow play.
These gloves are very warm and fit great. Perfect
Fit great and warm (have only tested to close to 0° F)
Really like these gloves. They are very warm. I would buy again.
The gloves are wonderful for keeping my hands and fingers warm. However, they are too stiff and thick to use when I walk my dog. I need to be able to use my fingers for the leash and for picking up her droppings. So I'll go back to using my old gloves that also fit better under the wrist elastic on my coat sleeve. But I look forward to wearing these Carhartt gloves when I'm out without my dog.
I ordered a women's medium which always fits perfectly. These were so SMALL once I put them on I was barely able to take them off... and that was just inside the house. I tossed them out and lost the $25
These gloves are very warm and are excellent for snowblowing, sledding and most winter activities. The only complaint is that they are bulky and sometimes hard to get on.
I wish I can return them. They are too small amd didn’t fit well. The fitting inside is smaller than the whole glove itself.
Fit great, really warm. Good for shoveling snow.
They are ok. Not very warm. The color is nice. Also, I paid extra for 3 day shipping, these did not arrive within 3 days of me receiving shipping confirmation.
They are comfortable and warm,
I love them. They keep my fingers very warm.
A little tight and not as warm as I had hoped
I’m very happy with my gloves. This is not the first pair I’ve had. I wear them outside to care for my horses in the coldest of conditions. These gloves keep my hands warm and comfy. I have tried several different brands and this particular kind, by far, has been the best for me.
Excellent quality. Can’t wait to use them. I purchased a medium.
I can't actually can't rate the gloves. I ordered large and they barely fit my hands. I don't have very big hands either. I gave them to a friend of mine and bought a pair elsewhere.
Works well in the midwest though I was hoping they would be just a tad bit warmer for the fingertips
Quality is great. But runs small.<br />I bought a large cause my hands are short and wide. Still too tight and when I would pull my hands out of the glove it would turn inside out.
I like them but my finger tips still get cold after about 20 minutes
Warmest gloves I’ve ever owned!
I have an older pair of these gloves that I’ve tried to get a second pair of because my old ones are THE PERFECT pair of gloves. My original ones are size medium and have always fit perfectly. I’ve since ordered another medium and they are much smaller — I can hardly even get them on my hands and then they are much too tight. So I ordered this size large pair, and the hand part fits much better, more like my original pair, but the fingers are much too long. This is a common problem I’ve found with Carhartt products: the sizing never stays the same and it’s impossible to duplicate my favorites. While I believe these are the best made gloves out there for warmth —even better than as marketed —I’m highly disappointed that I can’t get another pair to fit anywhere close to my original pair and that’s highly disappointing.
Very warm gloves. Perfect for the coldest days
Excellent gloves
Comfortable
Returning, to this and no dexterity
At first I was very excited about these gloves, eager to shovel snow with these and brush my car clean. For weeks it was a major upgrade and kept my hands warm during winter chores. But one day the temperature dropped to the negatives and the gloves did not keep my hands warm while shoveling when it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit. That was an extremely cold day and I had to take breaks shoveling because these gloves did not keep me warm when the temperature was below 10 degrees. I gave my hands several breaks before going back out again. The gloves are very stiff and not very flexible but I mainly bought them for winter chores and cleaning off my car so it helps me get the job done.
I have worn these when it was below -30 Celsius. When it gets that cold Mittens are usually the best option but my fingers stayed lovely and warm despite a wicked windchill. Despite being plenty warm they are still flexible. Highly recommend.
Glad I got these for my winter bike commute. I’d been using some insulated leather work gloves that were not warm enough. These are super nice for the price, more quality and function for the money than any of the ones I tried at the local outdoors-equipment retailer. Size L fits me right if a bit snug, so if you have extra large hands, probably go for a “mens” style.
Very warm-a bit too warm, but great for -10 degrees!
I bought these for myself and then for my 3 older kids because they were all trying to wear them for snow play and skiing.
I bought these gloves to wear at my job bc they're waterproof and seemed super comfy and warm. However, I haven't been able to wear them for my actual job bc I can't really dooo anything in them. I realize this has something to do with how small my hands are and how much bulk is needed to keep a hand warm, but I really can't do any of the things I need to do in these. I didn't expect to be able to do really fine motor skill things but I seriously felt like I had zero control over my hands in these bulky things. That being said, I'm sure they really are super warm and waterproof but I haven't been able to really find out yet. I'm sure they'll be great for playing in the snow or something whenever that happens for us in GA :)
I have been looking for an affordable truly warm pair of gloves for many years. This pair is the closest I've come to my goal. It's not as warm as I was expecting based on the description. Definitely worth buying if you suffer from poor circulation and are price conscious.
-Warm puffy gloves<br />-I like the adjustable strap that tightens around the wrists<br />-Nose wipe on side of thumbs<br />-Reinforced leather-like palm and fingers<br />-Pull-off tab on bottom of wrist<br />-One downside is that the interior is polyester and sweat keeps hands wet, they need to make a moisture-wicking interior because they'll literally start smelling like sweat and get salt build-up with intense physical activity
I bought these for snow shoveling but shipping took awhile so I have not tested them for this yet. I ordered a large. The inside fleeces liner fits from the space between my fingers close to my hand to the fingertips exactly with not stretch...but the outer layer I can fold over 1/4 around each finger. The crooked, awkward sewing placement of the pinky makes the pinky very hard to control as these are very thick <br /> gloves. Although I can fold over lots of outer layer finger length, when I go to grasp a snow shove for instance, the back of the hand part of the glove is very tight and restrictive. I loved the price but these do not seem to have any rhyme or reason size wise to use effectively.
These gloves are SO warm. I love how they feel and they really keep my hands toasty. Some mentioned that the fingers are short but I found that they fit better than most winter gloves for me, so maybe I have short fingers? They are pretty water-proof on the outside and are perfect for long mornings outside with my toddler.
Fabulous! Great gloves
I love the warmth and fit of my gloves. I don't like the lining, because my hands are so dry in the winter, and my dry skin catches on the lining. A silkier or flannel lining would be better.
Really love these gloves. Good quality, fit well, and very warm. I will definitely buy from this company.
Great gloves keep my hands warm and dry!
Super warm for Nebraska winters! would highly recommend!
These gloves are great for winter. They are warm and waterproof. The palms are reinforced. The back of the thumb has a soft material to wipe your face. The interior is very soft and comfortable, like a warm hug on your hands. The Velcro wrist strap is simple with plastic hardware.
I love my gloves
Very warm gloves. They fit great, are well insulated and have a nice design. They are perfect for the outdoors in cold weather. Regardless of style or price, other gloves I have purchased just did not keep my hands, and especially my fingers, warm. But the Carhartt gloves are fantastic. They insulate incredibly well, and my hands always feed comfortable. They gloves are a little bulky, but do not impede activities. Highly recommend if you are looking for warm gloves for outdoors.
I've had my pair of gloves for a few years now. I wear them on walks, snowshoeing, snowboarding (all in WA)... and it withstands all. <br /><br />My hands are always the warmest amongst my friends (sometimes too warm!), and the only signs of wear and tear are some threads fraying. <br /><br />The pull tab on the palm is very helpful and the seal is great, no snow is getting in these gloves. <br /><br />My hand circumference is 7.75" but I am wearing a medium and it fits well. I initially ordered small since I have small hands but I had to go into the store and size up.
I'll start off with saying that these are warm and they're great that way in the MN or ND winters. What drives me nuts is that the inner lining tends to get damp and is so difficult to get dried out before needing to wear them again the next day.
they keep my hands warm for a while, but after some time my fingers are cold. I wish someone would make a glove that actually keeps fingers warm and toasty. I do think they will last quite a while and I like the burgundy color I purchased.
AAAAA
I bought it for my wife, the size fits well and its good for winter weather
they are awesome
These gloves are very warm and waterproof but i have had them for 3 months and they do not get worn every day on one glove every single finger had a tear on the seem
I'm so disappointed in the fit. They're warm and look great, but even after measuring my hands according to the Carhartt sizing chart they're way too small and I'm nearly unable to move my fingers around in them. <br /><br />I had to cut the tags off in order to try them on, but see that the Carhartt return policy requires the tags to be left on in order to return and that the customer pays for shipping. Such a waste of money!
I have always swore by these gloves to keep my hands warm in the winter while out doing my horse chores. They are very warm- while they last. I have gone through 2 or 3 pair so far this winter. It seems like after a couple weeks of wear they just seem to start to fall apart. The seams come unraveled and they just start peeling apart. This is the first year after many of wearing that I have had any issues with these gloves.
Exactly as described. Very warm.
Gloves are difficult and awkward to get on as the lining bunches up when you put your fingers in. Also, I have an old pair of knitted gloves with faux fur lining which are just as warm as these gloves. This was not a good investment. I'm returning them.
I have scleroderma with Raynaud's disease, These are the best gloves ever for protecting my hands, keeping them warm and dry.
This is my second pair. Great comfort when moving snow. Very warm. I have a pair in each vehicle.
Arrived just in time for our cold snap (temps in the 20’s). Very pleased. My hands are warm and dry and the gloves seem to be well made. Good value for money.
I always buy cheap acrylic/polyester gloves and decided to invest in a nice pair for this winter. These gloves do run somewhat small. I ordered a M and they fit perfectly with a little extra room. I love the look and inside is sooo soft. They come with a clip to keep them together and so far have been very warm especially on mornings that I have to de-ice or hold a cold steering wheel.
Very satisfied with my new gloves
My daughter had these gloves on her wish list for her birthday. She’s a runner and said these are the best gloves ever! When they arrived and I looked at them, I’m seriously thinking about getting a pair for myself, as I’m a regular walker at our walking trail.
These gloves look great and kept my hands warm in severe N.D. weather. I love the purple color, so, of course I got the thermal top and pants in purple. These are good gloves!
I bought these gloves in December and one month later, they were torn. Yes, I put them through quite a bit of work, but I had only worn the gloves 3-4 times during that month and I was amazed at how quickly they tore. Disappointed, especially because I really liked them before they tore.
Awesome
Just received mine today so I haven't gotten the chance to wear them yet. I purchased the black in medium and was a little worried about if they would fit or not due to the mixed reviews. The medium fit my hands just fine. I consider my hands to be small and my fingers slender and the gloves left me with a tad bit of extra room in the fingers. The only thing different from the gloves than what is in the picture is mine did not have buttons but a Velcro strap instead. I would buy again.
Very warm gloves. I have small hands and even these gloves came a. It too small around the palm but I like the fit around my fingers. Will provide a lot of warmth. May cause hands to sweat if you are exherting yourself outside.
So thick and warm! you lose your hands in these! have good grip. looking forward to test these out this winter, especially the waterproof.
It is a bit too tight but nice and warm. I would recommend. Bought it late in the cold season so really haven't had a chance to put the gloves to the test.
Fingers are to short
These gloves are very comfortable and warm. I wore them all last year in the very cold weather of Indiana. Snow ball fights with my daughter were great. My hands didn't get cold. They keep your fingers nice and snug.
Warm fit great, pull tabs on wrists are great for getting on. Sometimes its a little tricky to get my little fingers positioned right to slide in finger holes. Definitely not for chores, but are great for snow play.
