The Ironhide Utility Double Front Pant features:
Great pair of pants. Comfy and well made. Very high quality and worth the money.
They are very comfortable If it's OK And I always love timberland pants.
I bought 3 pair of these pants for work. I am a mechanic and service writer for an independent automotive repair shop. I generally wear a pair of pants 2 days and then wash. I find these pants to be comfortable, I wanted a 35 inch waist but it is not available so I went to a 36, with a belt they are fine. I have worn Carhart and Dickies in the past, Dickies wear out too fast and Carhart are not comfortable for me (fit is too straight, basically a tube from the waist to the crotch.)
I've been wearing them over a year now, and they are holding up well. Yes, the black fades in the wash, but I don't get paid for being stylish or crisp, so I don't care. Double knees are definitely wearing well. The fabric is much more durable than the weight of it suggests, and the little bit of stretch makes squatting and moving more comfortable. The wide belt loops keep the waist from bunching and gapping. I have convinced a couple other guys at the shop to try them, and they're happy too.
I bought these and took them home for husband to try. He LOVES them. Super comfortable, phone fits perfectly. Trying to buy more now on this website. Wished they came in more colors.
I purchased 2 pair during the Thanksgiving/Christmas sale. I have only been wearing them for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, indoors. I am a manager for a major auto parts franchise, so it's safe to say I dont put these to the true test that timberland prides themself on. They only made it through about 3 months of use for a few hours a day, and washed properly as stated on the wash tag. These pants have faded and look like they are years old. I also contacted the web site and was sent a warranty form, which I filled out along with pictures. About a week after submitting the form, I was sent an email saying that the pants were not covered and the fading was normal.Stay far away from these "work" pants. I can honestly say that I have had much better results from carhartt and dickies work wear and will not be purchasing anymore timberland clothing. Very disappointed in my experience and hope anyone that sees these pictures reconsiders a purchase. Dont make the mistake I did in thinking timberland will stand by thier product because they simply dont.
I was given a pair as a present last year. The doubled knee cloth made kneeling less of a problem, and these pants were definitely warm. All was well, until I had to replace a flat tire. I went to one knee and ripped the crotch out! So much for that extra gusset talked about in the advertisement. Instead of continuing in to work, I had to go back home for a clothes change. I've never done that with my Carhartt pants.
