Great boot for work or hiking. It can take a beating, might be your new favorite boot to wear too work. Comes in a cold climate version also.

Bought the 8 inch to replace my 6 inch boondocks that I wore completely out. For the first 3 month's they were comfortable after then 3 month's were up these boots started to do damage to my left heel to the point of walking wasn't much of an option. I should of thrown them in the trash when my heel first started hurting, but didn't have another else to work by the time I get off work everything is closed. I finally had to buy different boots and it was NOT this brand of boots! It is still very painful to walk on my heel., I walk with a limp because of this boot.I don't know if it was just that particular boot or all of the 8 inch are like that but I DO NOT recommend this boot to anyone unless you want to have serious problems with your feet!!!!! The ONLY good thing I can say about the boots is that they are deafently waterproof. The bottoms has traction that is good for snow and ice. Your feet never get hot in the summer and never get cold in the winter and never get wet if they don't damage your feet first...

Bought timberland for 10 years, switched to red wing 3 years ago. Came back for this boot. What a mistake. Side walls have no support, the boot is sloppy and loose around my foot even with the laces tightened as much as possible. Every Time I go to lace the laces go right behind the eyes and side of the boot. Always have to force my feet in but once inside they have so much space I roll my ankle? Terrible design, worse timberland boot I have ever bought. I work construction full time and continue work at home, wear my boots until it's time for bed. Went back to Red wing king toe.

| Caesar H 21-08-2021 13:14

Work in construction, they feel so comfortable for a big boot

| Tristan W 21-06-2021 23:46

I work doing underground utilities. Bought these about 5 times now. Each pair last around a year before they start slopping out. These are the best laces on boots I've ever had, I've never broke one lace on these.

| Heyner 25-02-2021 21:58

Nice boots looks and feels comfortable

| Angela C-T 11-02-2021 14:59

Hopefully theses come uninsulated my husband love them

| Bill c 09-02-2021 16:55

Not a hundred percent waterproof. I was in 4" of snow for 4 to 5 hours shoveling and water penetrates thru leather where the sole meets boot. Going to the local Timberland store today to get one of their products that can seal these up. Hopefully

| Mike A 07-02-2021 04:17

I have been wearing the composite toe boondocks for 5 years now. Every year without fail, I rotate the used out to be my homestead pair and the new for work. Great waterproofing, comfortable and the laces last longer then the boot. But something changed this time around. The cushioning in the soles seems more dense, the padding around the ankle is less substantial. The boot delivers as promised every time, but I am slightly disappointed. For a $200 boot, the product should not have a significant difference in feel from one year to the next. Overall, still an amazing boot with a great fit and remarkable toughness.

| David C 23-01-2021 23:12

Keeps feet dry warm and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

| Ryan H 31-12-2020 22:32

Good quality boot with comfortable arch support, on feet 16-24 hours straight.

| Jose S 03-11-2020 08:12

The boot looks nice and it's comfortable, my only problem is they are not slip resistant and for my type of work they are not safe to wear

| Waldo, R 30-10-2020 20:18

I work fracturing oil and gas wells and seem to be outside in the cold a lot usually in some kind of mud or puddled water from leaking pumps and they keep my feet warm and dry and I don't feel fatigued at the end of my shift.

| Mathew R 20-10-2020 10:43

I wear these boots about 18hrs a day. My local workboot store told me about them 4 years ago, and were the best boot. First pair lasted 2 years which was awesome, normally my boots last 10-14 months. I bought my second pair, and just barely got a year out of them. Then the third pair, i bought this spring and have already blown the sides out of the boots and the insides of the boot are falling apart. Might have to switch companies

| Rock 10-10-2020 00:30

I am on my feet constantly, whether its construction, landscaping, farm work, house cleanouts or even simple inspections. I am on my 3rd pair of boondocks about to get a fourth. These boots have been put through hell and always come back swinging. The day the get discontinued is the day I retire (I'm only 30, basically if I can't wear these then I can't work lol) ill never get a different pair of boots.

| Hollywood 01-08-2020 12:05

Only took a couple days to break them in and they feel great on my feet. Outdoors everyday in them hauling farm/construction equipment. They seem to be waterproof but the outside leather seems to soak up water and stay wet. Tried their spray but didn't seem to help much.

| Vicente 09-07-2020 16:28

Great boots for concrete.

| Naisheem 26-03-2020 21:35

These boots are very comfortable, I love there 8" look and style and the hints of orange is great, and the overall look and feel of the boot is great. The toe was a. Little bit bigger than expected, but that just makes for better authority and confidence when you walk.

| Brandon 20-03-2020 23:13

I love these boots! Most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. And are truly waterproof up to 4 inches of water.

| Hardworker 13-01-2020 19:30

Most comfortable boots I have ever purchased, I'm going on 2 years now with these boots and I would say I put a minimum of 8 miles on these boots every work day year round and my feet stay warm and dry, 2 thumbs up for the timberland pro boondock

| Patricia 25-12-2019 18:47

My grandson loves them. He works in construction and has been very rainy. They have kept his feet dry!

| Ravi 17-12-2019 17:23

Great Work Boots

| James 18-09-2019 12:47

Great boot overall. Waterproof and once broken in very easy to walk in. Heavy duty and good for wider feet

| JDub 20-04-2019 23:35

I do Automotive Collision Repair. I was wearing Nike and New Balance sneakers to work and couldn't get them to last more than 2-3 months. I have terrible knee pain and my heels hurt all the time. I'm on my feet on concrete all day long. I bought this specific pair because they are NOT insulated. I've had them for about 4-5 months now. They felt great right out of the box, and feel even better now. Knee pain is almost all gone and my left heel doesn't hurt half as bad, if at all. I have these boots on for 12-16 hours a day. Not to heavy, nice flex for an 8" boot. Toe box is perfect for my feet. Traction is awesome, sometimes the concrete is wet where I work and I can walk with confidence. I will buy again and again. I don't have any complaints, there's not one thing I can say bad about them.

| Helen 03-02-2019 15:53

Bought these boots for my son who works in demolition. He was going through 2 pair a year of another high priced name brand boot. These were recommended by his co workers. So far as for comfort and style he is very pleased. As of now this will be his boots of choice.

| Don 03-02-2019 12:57

After 3 months of use these boots leaked and the sole split in half . I will be going back to red wings they seem to hold up.

| Wolfman 16-12-2018 01:41

I have had a pair of these for about 4 years now, used for 3 year before they had a major blowout. The anti fatigue insoles are excellent so I can still wear them just not in wet conditions which my job is out in the elements, so I'll be getting these over and over even though there's a drawback in extreme wet conditions they are awesome.

| Sparky 14-10-2018 17:27

Workboot. Comfortable, boot wears well, but lost waterproofing shortly after purchased.

| Daniel 06-08-2018 00:49

These boots are great, very comfortable right out of the box. I work for the local power company and I am on my feet for long hours in all kinds of weather. The only downside about these boots is that the bottoms seem to wear out kinda fast because they are so soft and comfortable. I have had a few pairs of these boots and I will continue to buy them.

I did have an issue with the last pair that I had and Timberland replaced them no questions asked. They definitely stand behind their products.

| Daniel 31-07-2018 11:29

I've worked many jobs that I'm on my feet all day. The past 3-4 years, I've been a union Laborer. I've worked on paving crews, flagging for road work, at the oil refineries, concrete demolition, and much more. I've had the Boondocks the whole time. This is my 3rd pair and I wont buy any other boot. I love the comp toe over steel. The waterproof leather construction and the anti-slip sole. But hands down, the anti-fatigue technology is the absolute best feature. Being on road crews, I could be on my feet for up to 15-16 hours a day. I've never felt like I need to change boots or need a break. It's like walking on clouds. I suggest Timberland Boots to all my colleagues and friends. This is the greatest, all around boot for the trades!!! And Timberland's warranties, comfort guarantees and customer service is second too none. Team Timberland for life!!!

| vern 29-07-2018 00:14

Farm and Ranch work, almost no breakin period neeed, very comfortable. Have worn Timberland for 5 plus yrs in wet and not so nice conditions have been very satisfied except my last pair broke out in the back the boots are still in very good shape but unwearable with the back open.

| Sarah 02-07-2018 22:42

Love the make and quality of the shoe. Company sent the wrong size( the shoes sent were three sies too small) and when I called the size that I ordered is out of stock. They did not offer anything to make it right .. just an apology.

| Michael 14-06-2018 01:23

These boots are comfortable, good support , great traction, good toe protection. Not cheap

| Tim 22-05-2018 01:36

To start as I put them on I thought wow, these are so comfortable. But as I've worn these for 3 days now they are substantially too big and I've ordered a whole size smaller. I also notice that there is no ankle protection very easy to roll my
Ankle in these boots. My feet hurt by mid day and I will be returning these boots. I gave them
One star based on the intilial try on and the looks

| Michael 30-04-2018 17:38

So far so good very comfortable, soles are wearing pretty fast after only 2 weeks though. Overall good buy, a little pricy and a little heavy.

| Reddogp220 20-03-2018 23:56

Other than missing a loop in the back to aid with putting the boot on it's a great boot. I have the insulated 1000g version of this boot and it has to be the warmest boot I've ever worn also one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I look forward to recieving the noninsulated version of this boot for spring/summer. I've been an Ironworker for 20 years and have always wore red wings, which killed my feet, or thorogoods. Thorogoods were great boots but they don't offer too many boots in size 15 and if they do they charge extra for a special order. I'll miss you Thorogood!

| Monique 22-01-2018 08:00

I was nervous about buying shoes from this site for myself but I bought this particular one for my boyfriend and he loves it! I'll definitely be shopping for one in the female section now.

| Todd 18-01-2018 08:00

been wearing these boots about a week now . very comfortable to wear all day right out of the box. i'm on concrete all day fixing semi trucks, and so far at the end of the day my feet and knees aren't hurting. I have wide flat feet, and these boots were the answer. The only down side so far is beings these boots are water proof, they need to be placed on the boot dryer every night. I'm on a heated concrete floor and I never had a problem with cold feet. therefore my feet will sweat in these boots. These were the only boots in my size. Got them online because boot barn has a very limited inventory.

| Rick 18-01-2018 08:00

I've been in work world for 31 years and have owned many brands of boots, but I've been a diehard Redwings fan for the last 10. A shoe salesman convinced me to try on the Timberlands. I thought Timberland was just a fashion brand and never gave them a second look. I'm a big guy 6'3" 250lbs and my feet usually hurt after a hard day at work. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I also wear them on days I don't work, because they are so darn comfortable.

| Margaret 03-01-2018 08:00

Very comfortable!

| Roughneck 15-11-2017 08:00

These Boots are way Too Wide and seem to feel about a size to big as well. They'd be a great pair of boots if they were true to size. Good thing the customer service is top notch.

| Matty 04-11-2017 07:00

I set fence posts working with cement and dirt/mud on rugged terrain for the most part 5 sometimes 6 days a week, roughly 50 hour weeks. I had the 6" used them for a year absolutely loved them I have a bad knee witch leads to sore hips and I can be on my feet 10 hours a day and my feet never hurt and have had totally dry feet the entire time I was laying brick in the summer and was dragging the toes around and wore the sole down to the toe cap and the tread peeled off. Nothing would survive that over time. Well it's time for new boots and I went with the 8". My 3rd pair of boondocks and won't be my last would recommend them to any one who's not crawling around on the knees all day and these boots will last a long time take care of them and they will take care of you! Thanks for making these boots timberland!

| Curly Joe 19-10-2017 07:00

I'm in boots all day long 5-6 days a week and on my feet all day long at work. These boots with the anti fatigue sole live up to their name. I don't think I've ever had a more comfortable pair of boots. I usually wear Redwings but I'll be buying Timberland Pros from now on!!

| Haole Rowley 23-08-2017 07:00

I Love how there is no break in period with these boots! Very comfortable right out of the box! No Joke! I Love the toe caps as well! Will never buy another boot without them! If no caps I would see the composite toes in a few weeks. The paint on toe caps just don't last. These boots holds up really well! The only issue i had with the Boondocks was that they are not waterproof like they says they are. I work in Valdez, Alaska and it rains a lot! So having dry feet is a must! So I had no choice but too return the Boondocks after several months of use. I bought a different brand name boot and that was a Big mistake! They were So Uncomfortable! So I bought another pair of Boondocks!! I don't want to have wet feet all day but I can't find a boot this comfortable! So I am going to treat these new ones with AquaSeal treatment several times a week and I'm hoping that this keeps them WATERPROOF!

| Henry 16-08-2017 07:00

Good boots. I'll keep buying them as long as they don't change them.

| ServiceTech 25-02-2017 08:00

I've bought this boot three times now. At about 1 year I tend to wear a hole in the inside heel portion of the boot, eventually it starts wearing right through the back. Other than that, normal wear such as the tread on the bottom. I do A LOT of walking at work and I'm always on my feet, they break in well and stay comfortable. They are the longest lasting boot I've had, and they keep my feet warm and dry all year around in Canada. Like any footwear of this material, I would recommend treating the leather to help repel the water instead of soaking it up.

| William 06-11-2016 07:00

These boots are perfect for work. Very comfortable all day long. Love the boots.

| Joe 04-07-2016 07:00
