These 6-inch composite safety toe boots are completely waterproof and feature an Anti-fatigue technology polyurethane foot bed for shock absorption and energy return.
The Timberland Pro 6-inch Boondock Safety Toe Boots feature:
Had this product for 6 years now they have exceded my original expectations they are very comfortable, I purchased them a size larger because at the time was working on very cold conditions, with no steel shank or toe my feet would stay dry and warm
Advertised as waterproof. Definitely not waterproof
I wear these boots 15 hrs a day for work in a Warehouse and feet DO NOT HURT. The Toe Guards are a must because of Pallet Jack use and climbing under racks knelling on Pallets. Would definitely recommend these boots.
Happy with all styles, blackfriday sale got wrong order, return was easy, just reorder then dropped the wrong pair at counter USPS new pair came a few days later got my refund on wrong pair in about 7 days
This is my 3rd pair of boondock. They last about 2 years. Having a problem with left boot this time, socks will not stay up. Boots are a bit heavy.
Last a solid year in a papermill. Lighter than most boots
I've purchased two pairs and both had the same defects
Boots look great and feel good. I tried these on in the store first and they fit great. For some reason I buy work boots a whole size bigger than casual boots. Work size 9.5, casual 8.5
Work on the Railroad so I am in different ground areas from concrete to granite ballast
Used as work boots. On my feet all day in all weather. Comfortable, stay dry and handle the wear and tear well.
I have been using these boots for work for as long as I can remember. I've tried other boots here and there but nothing compares.
My favorite pair of Tim's I have owned most of the timberland pro line up through out the years and the one I have found to be my favorite are the boondocks on my second pair now and will be my go to boot
I walk alot around the plant in slick water soaked floor these are easy on the feet and very slip resistant
The leather on the outside was a little scratched up when received but it will get that way when worn anyways otherwise than that the boots are perfect
Wow my boots just die but had them for 8 years. And just the bottom heal broke so i cut them across to see whats inside well they have well stiched..upper and lower side ans a fiberglass toe and shank in the bottom of the boot...and more padding and fiberglass sole incerts....soooo they are the bomb of boots i used them everday in wet and mud and never got my socks wet..
Sooooo if you are looking for a great pair of boots cant go wrong with these bad mo .....thanks for the time and all the rock concerts we been tooo...dave
I've worked in warehouses for YEARS, landscaping a few years in between and I'm telling you no other boot compares! They protect my feet in any weather, and they don't deteriorate fast! I have to buy a new boot every two years. And I do A LOT of walking. Not to mention the anti fatigue tech they use. My feet never hurt! Worth every single penny. I have been a customer for years, and will for many more to come! #sweepstakes
I used this for work . I use it to sand blast pressure washing and painting . These put up with a beating .
Had for about two weeks. Lighter than they look. Good tread. Left boot rubs top of foot in an almost unbearable way. Right boot rubs my ankle in an almost unbearable way. I have to wear them loose. Hoping they break in in the next two weeks or I'm returning. Not being picky, they are painful on my feet.
Super comfortable. Quality seems good so far. Only have worn Them a few times.
Theyve stood up well. I use them as my work boots on the railroad and sometimes spend a good amount of the day walking fairly long distances over uneven surfaces. Warm, comfortable, dry and seem to be durable so far. I think I'll get a good amount of use out of these boots.
Great working boots
Boots run slightly big but are super comfortable. They are worth every penny.
I wear the boots 14 plus hours a day and my feet feel great, best boot I have ever bought.
I work for a large grocery delivery company. I walk between 8 and 10 miles a day pushing a hand truck. All different kinds of ground. I have to have this kind of boot per company guidelines. They give me $300 a year allowance at another major boot company but I pay out of pocket for these Timberlands. They are the only boots that work for me. I've had at least 8 to 10 pair now over the years. I recommend them to everyone that mentions boots. These are the only boots I will buy.
Finely made boot. Comfortable for long workdays. Little on the heavy side but durable. If your looking for a good value that won't break the bank to much this is the boot for you. I would recommend this boot. #sweepstakes
I love these boots and have been wearing this style for about 5 years now it corrected my Plantar Fasciitis. The only down fall is the Price every time I need to replace them.
I return the product
I'm an Automotive Technician and these boots were comfortable until the insole came apart. They looked good until they started cracking and falling apart. 1 year old. Too much $ for it to break down that fast. Might be good if your in a different profession. I think its the constant bending, squating, and kneeling that does this. To the outer soles and leather. But the insoles breaking down like that is crazy unacceptable.
EXCELLENT BOOTS. THEY ARE MY FAVORITES I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT 4 PAIRS OF THESE BOOTS.
Best boot I have ever had but the most expensive and hardest to find. Love the boot and got 2.5yrs out of them but price and stock levels have prevented me from purchasing another pair. Got the Timberland helix now and not impressed.
You are better off buying boots anywhere else pretty much . Horrible quality and material and its pretty pathetic and the warranty dept. Is a joke. They said its from wear and tear when they melted away.
I love them but they was to big.
Boots started leaking after about 2 months of getting them wet one day a week.
Looks professional work boots but water proof is no longer durable
On the Job these boots are very well designed and have always served my needs well
These boots are awesome. I'm on my 6th pair
I'm a maintenance guy for a school district so I do a lot of walking, the back of my leg gets so raw from the boot rubbing it's almost unbearable. I've had to switch back to my old thorogoods multiple times. Also I've never wanted to get home so fast to remove these boots because my feet hurt so bad around the ball of my foot. I've only had them for about 3 months so I can't comment on the durability, but the look is very nice I just wish they would address the back of the boot it is so painful.
Best boot I ever worn
Please please restock black 11.5W
I've bought a lot of different brands and these are by far the best. I've bought Keen and Merrill works both are more expensive and not nearly as nice or hold up. Love these boots so far.
I am an HVAC technician that works inside and outside in Massachusetts. My Boondock composite toe black boots are 3 years old. The only wear is in the heel. Otherwise the boots are in great shape. They are super comfortable, waterproof, breathable and warm. In comparison my Merrell composite toe boots stopped being waterproof after about a year. Then they started to fall apart. I wore them longer than I should have, but I should have thrown them away before 2 years of wear.
I just ordered a second pair of Boondocks and they fit just as well as my first. I am about to order a third pair in brown.
I build tanks and it's hard to get a boot to last at least a year and these boots definitely impressed me. I put anything I get through extreme tests at work. It's great in cold or hot weather as well as hot metal. Great grip on the bottom even when worn down quite a bit, I've walked through mud and puddles without getting any water inside the boots. Looking to buy another pair again soon since it's already been over a year and they are barely starting to fall apart.
I love these boots for work. Very comfortable and stylish. Will continue to buy this style for work.
This is my second pair of Timberland work boots and I bought this one because I needed something with a heal and a more hiking-type sole for rocky/hillside site walks. These boots are perfect..! comfy wearing all day and sturdy for ankle support while trekking up rocky terrain. awesome pair of boots..!
Great comfortable boot. My issue was the left foot had a defective stool toe that was caved in.
These boots feels great! Plenty of room for my feet to breath and meets my work requirements. Definitely not a dainty foot boot.
I've never gone wrong when purchasing a Timberland product. I've been ordering Timberland work boots for twenty years and not one disappointment.
My son is incredibly tough on shoes and he says these are the most comfortable and sturdy boots he has owned so far. My trouble is finding his size. Is Timberland not making these any more? The reinforced rubber toe is exactly what My son needs.
Working in underground utilities as a pipe layer is tough on your boots and your body. I usually get around 7-11 months out of one pair of work boots. I've already had these for over a year and they still feel like they can hold up for at least another year. The break in period was a little longer than I'm used too but they're comfortable now even after a 17 hrs shift in the rain doing a water tie in. The only complaint I have is having a durable boot like this that doesn't come in a wedge sole. I've tried Die Hards, Red Wings, Ariats, Danners, and Wolverines and I'll definitely be getting another pair of these.
Work boot is not waterproof
Most uncomfortable boot ever! This is my second pair of first was great wanted to replace couldn't find same so tried these terrible feet pain daily 3 months in fear buying any timberland again
They are very heavy duty.
Son really liked them for a new career but has had to return them twice due to sizing.
After six months of use, these boots have held up to everything I've thrown at them without any real damage. They're reasonably comfortable for work boots, and the insulation does a good job keeping my feet at a fairly comfortable temperature. My two biggest complaints are the factory soles and the break-in period. I definitely would recommend nice insoles to provide a little more comfort. It took me about 5 or 6 weeks of consistent wear to get them broken in properly. With that being said, I've spoken to coworkers who have had these boots last them 3 years, so a long break-in period seems like a small price to pay should they hold up that long.
I usually buy the same boots every year. This is my fourth pair. I am extremely disappointed in them I have worn them for three weeks trying to break them in. They are so uncomfortable I started wearing my old pair to work. I guess it's time to find a new boot.
GREAT BOOT IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR BOOTS THEY WILL LAST A LIFT TIME .
I HAVE TIMBERLANDS PAIRS FOR YEARS
I bought my boondocks 2.5 years ago I .
I work around concerete and I pressure wash on the side these boots are awesome finally got a hole in the leather i I am about to order me another pair today
Very comfortable boot! Composite toe and waterproof is exactly what I needed. Working construction 6 days a week, it's necessary to buy quality boots to work thru all seasons. Very satisfied!!
I bought these for my husband, last year I didn't buy the Timberland brand and we already had to replace but we can already see the difference and this purchase. The best bang for our buck sturdy and well worth the purchase. We are looking forward to purchasing another pair so that he can alternate if he feels like it
The boots fit well and are comfortable to use.
These work boots are comfortable, however they DO NOT last. It's only been 2 months and the sole is almost gone.
Love them
Perfect
Out of the box these are beautiful beautiful boots I put them on and was immediately happy with the way they felt after wearing them all day extremely comfortable I did buy the anti-fatigue insoles which I have not used yet and look forward to trying them out but seriously these are good boots
Had the boots for 10 months. Sole stitching broke and the boot and sole came apart. Submitted a warranty claim, and quality control informed me this is normal wear and tear, but "We appreciate the level of expectation you have for our product." For an expensive boot, I expect them to at least live out their warranty
Perfect
My husband always comes back to these boots after trying several other brands. These alway hold up the longest, and are the most comfortable.
These boots are perfect. Can't say enough, my husband is a big guy and most other boots left his feet in pain broke very easily. In his line of work he needed a great pair so I bought these as a gift and 5 years later I'm still buying them. He lives in these boots actually prefers them over sneakers.
I finally found a boot that I want and need (ct,wr) it is a great boot through and through. I hope u guys keep producing this style and color because this will be my go to boot. I promise
I bought a pair on recommendation and within 8 months the sole was wore to nothing. So I bought a second pair when I couldn't get them repaired and within 6 month the sole broke off the boot
Great feeling boots
Love how these boots feel on my feet. My toes and feet are well protected from the elements in central Texas and from the hazards of a warehouse, the hazards of a job site and when out on a route. Only have had issues after years of wear and tare and a few dogs. I hate retiring them honestly. But replaced with a brand new pair (kinda bond with the boots after while). It's a particularly heavey boot so if your working fast in a production setting these boots will probably slow you down and effect your production time. The high heel goes far enough over my ankles to support them in case of a rolled ankle. The string is long enough to have a good amount slack at the top in case you need to wrap it around the top of the shoe and tie it for extra grip around the top of your ankle ( In particularly muddy situations this will help the boot stay on your foot as to not lose it in an uncalculated or under estimated Mudd puddle, thats happened, and my foot stayed dry). The steel toe boot has protected my feet from 4 inch pipe and pallets full of material. The soul is quite comfortable. But with any pair of boots you will eventually need an insert if you have feet like mine and the amount of time I spend on my feet doing manual labor. Perfect for the outside elements in south and working on a truck. Never had an issue. I would highly recommend this boot.
I use these boot at work and are very comfortable for the 12 hr shift that I work
I've only used these boots one winter and I have poor circulation and cold feet. These boots kept my feet warm working outside for a few hours and were very comfortable. I highly recommend the boots
I have 2 pairs of the Boondocks. 1st one was used to work truck assembly lines in Ohio and Michigan. When they were retired they became my home lawn and maintenance boot. My second pair I still wear to this day and will never buy an different type of WOOKBOOT!!!!!
Best boots by far. Never work less than 12 hours and always on my feet. Cheap boots weren't cutting it. These are the real deal. I can't imagine wearing anything else while working
Overall the boots comfortability is good, they were good for winter in Michigan. Pure and simple though for the price you pay for these boots they should be made to last longer and be able to stand wear and tear on construction sites. These boots lasted maybe 8 months and the soles detached. There are betters boots out there like thorogood that will with stand a construction site better then these.
Work boots standing up all day
Great Boot. Comfortable and light weight.
They were purchased as a graduation gift for my boyfriend as he was starting a new electrical job and he loved them! Claims he usually starts fatiguing by midday with back aches and foot pain but not with these. He didn't feel as fatigued nor as tired. These are definitely worth every penny!
I use these boots for construction … These are by far one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn … I would definitely recommend these boots to my co-workers …
have a lot support
Very comfortable work boot
I use to love this boot until my last 2 pairs would not hold water out within 2-3 months of use. I was disappointed because I loved these boots. They are in the heavier side but can take a beating. I work at a water district and couldn't keep my feet dry with an 1" of water
I'm garbage trucks mechanic so I am in contact with oil and garbage,a regular timberland pro I use it for about 18 to 24 months, this time I decide for this because I heard that this is the more confortable work boots and they are, little more heavy compare with the pro but they still súper comfortable.
I've worn this Boondock boot for work on the railroad for around 6 years now. This has to be one of the best boots on the market. I've worn this boot through rain, snow, mud, and rocks. It has always kept me dry and without blisters 12hrs at a time day after day. Just received a new pair in the mail and will continue to use this boot as long as it's available!!
Good boots second pair I've bought first ones broke in a lot quicker
Very comfortable
I'm an elevator constructor. I've been through all the brands. This is my 3rd pair due to superior comfort. And now protection. Yesterday a fellow elevator mechanic lowered a pallet of elevator parts onto my composite toe Boondocks. The gross weight was 2880#s. It was a full 10 seconds before he was able to raise the pallet off my boot. No, damage to boot, no pain to my foot, nothin. I was lucky it only caught the the composite part of my boot. And also surprised the composite toe didn't collapse under the load. A great pair of boots..
Great work boots, very confortable
It looks like a high top but it isn't really. It's a little too wide, not high enough for good ankle support and not comfortable to be in on your feet all day. We would go back to our older preferred style but every single pair we get starts breaking at the seams around the heel every time within a month. The quality of your shoes has gone downhill tremendously and is so disappointing. We are 20 year customers who will be going to another brand now.
I have been using these boots 5 to 6 days a week for over a year. I'm an electrician, always running around, going up and down ladders. They are more comfortable than sneakers. Still going strong and super durable. My favorite boots.
The problem is the sole. Everything is good but the sole is gone. Expensive to replace. Can you imagine 4 pairs in one year. If you don't replace ankle pain. Knee pain Hip pain
I bought these boots one year ago. Worked part of last year as a landscaper, now as a General Contractor. The boot lace grommets re deformed from just using the laces and one keeps cutting the laces (paracord) I tried smoothing it out, but I can not. The soles are also falling apart.
New go to boot. Have these on my feet all day as a builder and they feel great. No break in time needed which was awesome. Durable too.
There's a lot of walking on concrete at where I work. These Tims are everything they say they were. The best purchase I've in many years. Would definitely buy again and suggest to purchase to anyone looking for great composite toe work boot.
Awesome boots I ordered two more pairs and got them fast and I'm going to get a couple more pairs just to stock up I wear them for work at FedEx I've never gotten so many compliments on a pair of boots before, thank you Timberland for designing this boot
They are very comfortable
Really good n prefect fits for me baby
I deliver food up and down a spiked ramp out of a semi everyday, and I can honestly say they are the best boots for me. I've gone through so many other pairs of boots before finding these. Pricy? Sure. But you can go straight to work with these right out of the box without your feet hurting. Durable, grippy, and all around a great work boot.
I received my boots, tried them on and were too small. Ordering next size larger to give them another try.
Overall good boot
I wear them every day for 8 to 10 hrs a day as a HVAC contractor
I ordered these for my boyfriend he didn't like how short they were so returned them and got the 8" and he likes them so far. Customer service was great!
These boots are comfortable, but they are far from waterproof. Cannot even walk through snow in these without my feet being wet. That does not sound waterproof to me
Awesome boots, so comfortable, so nice to be walking on a concrete floor or rugged ground and jumping on and off equipment with.
Comp toe and waterproof!
Great work boot these are my second pair, make sure after about every month or so you clean and condition the leather to make the boots last longer and stay in good shape.
I've traditionally bought cheaper work boots/shoes/trainers thinking that its better to go through 2-3 cheap pairs a year than buy 1 expensive set. That was until i saw these on offer and thought that my feet deserved to be treated right for once. I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with these. they are hard wearing, have kept going now for almost 18 months and show no signs of stopping. I travel alot and have flown for 10-12 hours in these because they are comfortable enough for me to do that.
they are warm enough for colder days and you're feet can remain cool enough if you don't wear socks that are too thick.
Unless they get discontinued I will continue buying these boots whenever mine die.
These are my 4th pair. I can get an average of 2 years out of a pair. I wear them all the time and not just for work. I hope they keep making them! I recommended them to a co-worker and these are the only boots he wears as well.
Bought these for my guy for work. He's very happy!
Great for working outside in the winter and They are a heavy boot
I had both of my knees' replaced and all of my previous work boots were too tight, not enough cushioning and limited time wearing them before pain and fatigue set in. With these boots, I can work and walk all day long in comfort. Besides working in them on my property, they are also comfortable on the sporting clay range.
Don't buy this product it wont last bad experience
I have (2) pairs. Black
After I had to give up on the Titans because they changed in 2019, I tried a pair of these. They immediately blistered my heels. I tried adding a pad to prevent the blistering, but that wouldn't stay in place and I got blistered a second time. Never again.
I wear these boots everyday for work no problems
Best work boot on the market
Was great right out of the box
Totally awesome
Durable, comfortable work boot
Great boot. I bought the soft toe. 6 months later l grabbed the composit toe. I had to get a wider width. They take dye well if they only have the very ugly brown in stock.
I have neuropathy, l love these boots.
I've had these boots for about a month now and a few trips out into the snow during work my boots get increasingly wet on the inside in the toe area to the point where it's still wet in the morning so the problem just continues to get worse
I bought this boot to wear to work. The sole is very comfortable. That being said, the boot is heavier than others. Also, on the pair I have there is an area on the tongue of the boot where the stitching comes together that has created a large knot (it feels like) and when I tighten my laces...it digs into my leg and has created a bruise. That alone makes me want to buy a different pair.
Most comfortable work boot I have ever owned. Been purchasing this same boot for 15 years. I can easily get 24 months wear out of these boots worn every w to work
I use these for work while I'm fabricating, and these timbers have been great so far.
I am outside alot in different conditions year round. I find these boots to be sturdy and comfortable, they are the only boots I buy for work and have bought about 5 pair over the years.
Great boot very comfortable and durable.
I bought these for my husband and I ordered them in his size and they were far too big around the top off his foot. The extra room caused his foot to move too much in the boot and within a few days of having them they started causing him foot pain. I am returning and exchanging them for a different size in hopes it will solve the problem. If not we will have to find something else.
A semi- heavy work boot BUT foot remains comfortable from daily rigors of landscaping and performing tree work in harsh weather .
I have owned Boondocks for 2 YEARS now and they are phenomenal! I work in the commercial construction industry and am subject to all environments! This boot has exceeded my expectations by far!!! This boot is HIGHLY recommended for ALL applications!
Work boot. Third pair. Comfortable all day wear.
Great boots
My personal favorite. I've had 3 pairs and exclusively wore this boot for 5 years straight. All 3 pairs are still in commission. They are very durable and versatile. They have kept me comfortable and dry through all 4 seasons. They shed mud and grip roofs. I highly recommend this boot. Keep in mind they are heavy, but worth that small sacrifice in my opinion.
These are the third pair of Timberland boots I have bought. I have had issues with plantar fasciitis and they give me better support than any other boots I've worn. They last as long as any other boots I've had which is about a year. I've tried all kinds of work boots over the years and I plan on sticking with these. The only thing I don't like about them is the price.
Work in construction, exceptional product
Very comfortable and break in was quick. It's my 4th pair and I will buy again
Great boots
I wear these boots everyday. I'm on concrete all day long on my feet in a garage. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. For the first time in forever I have no ankle pain. Well worth the money. I would simply suggest a non insulated pair, they are very warm.
I love these boots. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted over 3 years of heavy use. I continued to use them but the anti-fatigue and anti-slip were totally gone. I was putting new Timberland insoles in them, but I need them to be comfortable and slip resistance. I kept them for a total of 4 years, before getting a new pair.
I have worn this style of boots for a while now and I have to say I keep going to them. The fit is great can sure take a beating. I am rather rough on my boots since I do some crawling for work and they hold up as far as I am concerned. I go through a pair almost for 1-1.5 years at a time. The tread wear is usually first to go.
Great boot, however for me my only complaint is the sole of boot doesn't last if you're a hard worker! If you're lazy then these should last you two years or so!
I've only had them a week. There not as comfortable as I would've thought. I read all the reviews and I guess to each is own. I feet are tired after wearing them.
The main thing I was looking for in a pair of work boots was immediate comfort since my last pair of boots killed my feet
Bought these maybe 3 months ago not even. Noticed maybe after a month and half that the boots have been making my feet wet. I thought maybe because it's summer months and the humidity and hot weather were making them sweat. That's not the case water is soaking the inside of my boots and makes it very uncomfortable to work with. Second out of timberland pros I have been wearing and these wouldn't be a good choice for work boots for outside work. Would love to return them if I could.
I love these boots. They keep my feet dry if I have to walk through a deep puddle or if it's raining. The toe box is much wider than most other boots which is amazing because my toes don't rub on the safety toe insert. The biggest thing is they are SO comfortable and have AMAZING support
I've been in construction and rock quarries for the last 5-6 years. Typically I go through a decent pair of boots (I.e. red wings, wolverines) every 6-8 months. With the types of conditions I work in I expect a boot to last at least 6 months before I need to cycle them out. This boot lasted 4 months before the seem split across the bottom. Before they split and started talkin to me they were one of the most comfortable boot I've had yet. The antifatigue souls held up nicely and allowed me to continue to be on my feet for the full 14 hr shift I work no problem. They're also lighter then any of my other boots with the exception of one or two. If they'd have lasted at least 6 months I'd recommend them all day. Sadly won't be happening here. Back to wolverines for me.
I work 12hr shifts and very comfortable for all day use
I have bought the same boots(boondocks) for the last 4 years best boots ever i will continue to buy these boots .
I have owned these boots for the past 6 years. They are comfy and can be worn for 12hr a day and feet not sore. So they are the best boot I have ever owned!
The only concern is I wish they would they would change the material on the bottom of the boot. I wear through and you can feel the moisture inside the boot. Usually I have to buy 2 pairs a year which is not the best cause these are expensive!!!!
I travel a lot for work and these boots go with me everywhere.
For work real comfortable and dual able
These are the second pair of this boot I have owned. They are by far the most comfortable work boots I have ever put on my feet! I will purchase these as long as Timberland Pro makes them! I have been a heavy equipment tech, and automotive tech for almost 30 years, I have been through a lot of work boots. These are by far the best yet! you won't be disappointed with the Boondock boots. They are tough and comfortable the best you can get in my opinion!
I'm a glazier and wear these boots 6 days a week for around 9-11 hours a day. Very comfortable and durable... Only con are that the soles wear off to quickly. 4 months in and I'm into foam.... just very disappointed
I have been wearing Timberland Products for the last ten years. I purchased these boots and i immediately noticed that the boots were digging into the back of my left leg and causing a lot of pain and discomfort after wearing them 1 time. after taking a look at the boot i noticed that the back padding on the boot on the left boot had a significant less amount of padding so the leather was digging into the back part of my leg. The right boot fit just perfect. After talking to customer service and going through the warranty claim process it was not covered under a manufacturing/material defect.
I will no longer be purchasing timberland products due to the fact that they do not stand behind their products.
got these for work and they were comfortable from the beginning. Didn't need to be broken in and they feel good all day long. Plus they look good.
I've been wearing this particular model boot for about four years now. After many years of looking for the right boot, I finally found it in Timberland's #092615 6 in Boondock. It meets or exceeds the requirements of my job, and my personal likes.
I had a thermite mold give way in the hills of Kentucky and slag dropped, at its 4k F, to the ground and i got nudged forward by somebody flailing backward and stepped RIGHT ON IT.
Expecting the worst, and realizing that I felt nothing of heat at all, much less more, and minutes later pried the cooled mass embedded in my heel showing that the molten magmass had melted into my boot's heel, about 1/3 of the way, and no more.
A chunk of ruined sole is all the price i had to pay for a moment, that in most other boots, would have included some ME being removed.
This is my boot until they do not make them anymore.
all I could say, great looking boot
I owned timberland pro for a few years 8 1/2 Wide
Bought size 9 wide thinking would fit was very tight
Sent back tried 9 timberland pro suede and fit perfect, they should also offer double wide
Issue with sizing
The product is amazing. However it's not true to size. The show I ordered was way too big for my normal shoe size. I had to return and readjust.
My job where I work requires the worker to wear safety boots. I work with electrical so I needed electrical protective boots.
This is my second pair of Timberland boots and they are great. There is a lot of room in the toe area but it is not sloppy. I am a welder and after an eight hour shift my feet feel good. I will only buy these boots from now on.
I work long hours in a factory with lots of puddles and these boots keep up great. Very comfortable and keeping dry. No breaking in time, really. Only uncomfortable feature in the beginning was the gussett tongue kept hurting my ankle but I placed it slightly over the hook eyelets and been the most comfortable ever since. Great quality boot.
I work as a hotel engineer, and am on my feet all day about 9-10 hours (Fitbit tracker has me at 8-10 miles daily) I work inside and outside, were pricey but decided to try them. They were a great investment and I'm glad I bought them. 7 years later and it is now time to replace them and will be buying another pair. I like how the composite toe does not get cold in the midwest winters as typical steel toe boots. Only downside is they are almost 3 pounds per boot, but with the anti fatigue you almost don't notice until you take them off. Overall very satisfied.
This style is different than the last one I tried, I remember that pair being more comfortable in the beginning and after three months I added a high quality insert. Doing the same with this new pair, may need to get a new insert to get the most comfort while working all day
I am a diesel mechanic. Iv been wearing timberlands for a little over 10 years. June of 2019 I made the switch to composite toe for the simple fact of winter. This is my second pair of this model boot. Note, my first pair after a year of hard service are still very much wearable and used as my spare set for times of extended torching or welding. Water proof feature of boots is with no complaint. Composite toe Seems to be very comfortable and spacious compared to steel toe. The toe over all is bigger but not annoyingly or excessively. I use the toe everyday to rest truck tires on when removing or installing. I will say that other models the toe has started to tear as expected but the boondocks have only started to show signs of wear marks. Over all comfort for a work boot it's very satisfying. I have a tendency to continuously jump off trucks (4-5 foot) repeatedly. Never slipped nor lost traction nor have any pain complaints with a good set of insoals. I personally would not buy another boot if you live and work in all weather conditions and temperatures. I only have 2 minor complaints. #1. the laces tend to brake on the first or second eye hole. A $20 upgrade to a set of rynos or your choice is a quike solve. Note all my timberlands have down this around a year or so. Boots are a tool that get abused so a lace a year is hardly worth griping over but still should be mentioned. #1.5 when boots are new tieing them tight on the quick hooks tends to be painful on the ankles. Untill boots are broke in. Or I just tie my boots to tight. #2 the lugs on the soul of these particular boots, although great for traction and stability are spaced just a little to far apart to adequately step on and kill spiders/bugs. You can get em but it takes a little practice. May be seen as unnecessary information to some but very relevant to others.
Feels great once broken in
I've had multiple different brands of shoes and boots to wear at work. Timberland boots are by far the most supportive, comfortable footwear I've ever had. I'm standing and walking on concrete all day long, 8 to 10hrs a day. These are the best for being on concrete floors all day in a production or manufacturing environment. They are a little heavy, but that negates the benefits of the supportive nature of these boots. Id buy a sneaker if they offered one in 13W that had the same support, stickly because of the weight difference. You can't go wrong with these boots though. Don't be afraid to purchase these!
There ok
Very comfortable to work in
I'm on my feet all day. These are my go to boots
I have bought 2 brown and 1 black pair of these Boondocks. Each has lasted approx 2.5-3yrs before fully worn out. Zero complaints from fit to durability to funtionality. Even in Florida heat these stand up to anything thrown at them.
I'm in the HVAC field and I'm on my feet ALL DAY. These are the most comfortable work boots I've owned, already on my 4th pair and will keep buying them in the future. No complaints what so ever. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!! You won't regret buying these boots at all.
I use my boots to work in the yard and build decks.
I sent mine back. Heavy and uncomfortable. I got off work feeling exhausted which is very uncommon.
Sent mine back. Heavy and uncomfortable!!
The Timberland Pro Boondocks are a great Quality Work Boot. That is exactly what they are, Work Boots! These boots were built to last. I have had mine for 2 years. They took about 2-3 weeks to break in. Seemed like a normal break-in time to me. The most painful part about the break-in period was at the top of the boot by the speed lace hooks. I wear these boots everyday to work. I work the standard 40 hour work week, on my feet all day. These boots have the Anti-Fatigue soles, which are the most comfortable soles I have ever had in a boot. The inside of the heels on both boots are worn through the inner lining. The heel on the inside of the foot on both boots (anti-fatigue soles) has split about an inch. I can't feel the separation though, no discomfort. The comp toe does the job! The rubber protective toe has been great. Normal wear and tear, but as to be expected. The rubber toe protection has held up great. The toe box is large. I am ok with that, it gives my toes room, and they are not cramped. I have banged these things on wood, concrete, metal, and they have held up great. I have also got a good amount of water on them, and they have kept my feet dry. Unfortunately, recently, a small amount of water has managed to get into my boot, but it only gets one toe slightly wet, on the outer edge of my right foot. Not greatly noticeable, but come on, I have had these things for 2 years, and now there is a small issue. I think they have held up great. Normal wear and tear. My feet can get pretty warm in these boots. I am ok with that. The durability and stability of this boot, has created a return customer. I would recommend this boot to family and friends. Great built work boot by the Timberland Pro Team! Great job Timberland.
Very comfortable boot. On my feet all day on concrete floors and my feet don't hurt as much as they use to.
Timberland pro is the best, I have no words to describe the sensation and comfortably....anyway thanks
Really rainy lately, work in the mud and feet always dry.
Just bought a second pair of these. Have wore the last pair for almost 3 months now. Love these work boots. They are a little bit heavy, but are the most comfortable boots I can find for under $200. They also have a composite safety toe, good slip resistant traction, and are waterproof. I'm on my feet all day long, switching frequently between concrete, dirt, mud and pavement. I also work outside in various types of weather. These boots work very well for my job, and I will likely continue to buy these over and over as long as they last a long time.
Purchased primarily as work boots, but find myself wearing them all the time
Purchased boots 2 months ago. Worth the price tire. Inexpensive boots hurt my feet. I wear this boot when I am home doing DIY projects and yard work.
I work Construction good support and comfortable all day
I've bought these boots for years now. They're absolutely comfortable straight out of the box. I use them for work which is in the heavy duty industry. Being out on the roadside I've worn through countless toes until I got these. They're great for my work and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new boot.
Everyday use. But they don't stop water at least the pair I got. I tested them in a couple inches of water and seems through the stitching/bottom soles water gets in and makes them wet. Also leather where toes bend look like they cracking already after a month use.
These are great boots. Best I've ever worn, in fact. Hats off to Timberland for being ,in my opinion , the only boot manufacturer that is consistent in their high quality. Those other companies produce boots that look good and even feel good for a few weeks then either the seams start to separate, their leather stretches making them loose or they simply just hurt your feet. I am very pleased with my second pair of Timberland Pro boots . The first being the Helix 6" comp toe that I bought 18 months ago.( I wear my boots every day and I abuse them ). As a matter of fact I still wear them alternating between the two pair. I've had my Boondocks for 4 -5 months. I'll be ready for another pair soon.
Great quality. Comfortable
Comfortable, and the most durable boot I've ever worn. The laces could be a bit stronger and it would be better if they were made in USA. I would pay 50-100 bucks more for these boots if I knew the money was going to American workers. Just saying.
My work in the oil and gas industry requires me to have a steel/composite toe work boot. I have always has a difficult time finding the proper fit. Past boot always rub on toes dew to the toe protection, that's until I slipped into these boots they fit perfectly absolutely NO rub. It's not they are too wide or too long they are just rt. I'll come back in a few months and review them again for comfort and wear.
I bought my boots two years ago and are still working perfectly. The job I have years up the bottoms of boots and these ones are still standing strong for me!
Best boot ever.
Sole wore out in 6 to 7 months would of thought they would last otherwise as said but that does me any good maybe another boot maker red wing but they are pricey
I used every day and i l like so much, its comfortable and easy
Great shoe on Concrete floors working as an Electrician. I just bought these when my Timberland 3yr old pros anti fatigues wore out,but I still had a lot of tread on the bottoms of each boot. These new boondocks are better than Redwing and Thorogood ladies and Gentlemen.. I been in the trade 27 years and these boots do not hurt my feet after 10 hours walking at least 2 miles a day...it's the gospel.
Concrete floors these boots are great for 10 he days. I'm a 27year electrician and bending conduit with a hand bender is easier with these boots. They saved my life on the job when a water line broke and the concrete floor became energized with 120volts. The breaker did not trip so I walked across the wet floor and used a wooden broom handle to turn off the breaker. Thanks Timberland. This is my 3rd pair of Your pro class work boots but in different models.
very good boot fast shipping thanks
This BOONDOGGLE model is way to big, bulky and heavy weight. I do not recommend them. The 2013 model was so much better. To bad Timberland does not make those good boots anymore.
I drive a one man garbage truck. Hoping in and out and running to cans and back all day. These are the best and most comfortable boot I've tried. They are getting worn out but they've lasted around three months so far, and doin what I do you can't ask for more. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat, if they weren't so expensive. That's a healthy chunk of change for boots, but it's worth it.
I usually go through work boots in less then 3 or 4 months if that! These boots are so comfortable and they have lasted almost a year and I see very little signs of wear! Great price and the most comfortable and durable boots I have ever worn. I will never buy another kind of boot again. Highly recommended! You cant go wrong! And I know I have worn every boot made from redwing custom boots to dickies and these are bar far the most superior boots out there!
Boots are great. Just too big for what I do for a living. Need a lighter pair that dont go so hi on my ankles.
My husband is a carpenter and says they are so comfortable. I've never heard him rave about a boot before. Last pair of timberlands broke within a couple months so I'm hoping these last a lot longer than that.
I wear these boots as long as 16 hours a day and they are incredibly comfortable. I've never had safety shoes I wasn't eager to take off at days end. These are my favorite pair of shoes now.
I basically do mostly demolition , this boot is well built , it keeps your feet warm and it really is water proof , over all it a great boot and it looks great too , just keep in mind that is heavy
I love the boots and are looking for more from this brand from you. In business with the right people
They are great boots, fit is very good.
I work in mechanical plumbing and deal with damp environments at work.
They do not stop water from getting in, in damp environments. Other wise great boots and water proof in the snow and rain.
Have yet to find a boot that stops water from getting in, in a damp environment.
this is the second pair of pro boondocks I have purchased, I work in the plumbing field and cable construction, although a little pricey, I have to say well worth the cost, I won't go back to my other boots at all even though they were always timberland as well for the last 20 years. it is a hard yes when i'm asked if i'm satisfied with this boot
Bought these for my husband, arrived a couple days earlier than expected. The sizing is very accurate. Over all they are just what he needed !
got them for christmas for my boyfriend, he loves them
These are the only boots I will wear! Love them!
2 weeks in, Does its job, a bit rough around the ankles and feels on the wide side. (Mine are medium, makes me feel like i need narrow.) I've yet to encounter any hazards to verify its durability and features. But I gues that's a good thing.
Unfortunately the boot itself is too bulky for my boyfriends liking, but it seems like a very durable boot. We plan on ordering a smaller boot.
This are the most comfortable boots that I've ever had. I had to be on feet for most part of my working day, and this boots had helped me with my feet pain I had with the previous ones. I highly recommend them. They're worth every penny. The wide selection might get in the way on the pedals inside your vehicle, but it's not a big concern.
The MVP of work boots! Extremely comfortable and keeps my feet dry for 8 plus hours a day! Best boots I've ever purchased!
Timberland like any like any other brand has become more fashion than function thanks to celebs making the boots popular. Thankfully, Timberland still makes something that is functional in the real world!! Staying true to their roots. The Timberland Pro Boondock 6" boot are amazing! The boots feature a composite safety toe, electrical hazard protection, completely waterproof, and 400 grams of insulation. I purchased the boots during the long cold harsh winter. The boots feel hefty but very solid! Upon wearing them, you can sense the anti-fatigue cushioning and the boots don't feel as heavy. From other reviews, there is a break in period (at least I hope so) because there is a slight discomfort/rubbing on the left side around rear of the ankle. I think over time the boots will feel better.
I originally purchased the Timberland Pro Boondock 6" Non-insulated in a size 7.5 because a local department store was closing the priced seemed right. 7.5 was not bad, however I felt that my toes would curl or push too much against the toe cap when walking. i decided to purchase the insulated version in my normal size 8. Feels slightly larger but plenty of space now!! More room for boot socks!
I have tried boots made by Wolverine, Skechers, Carharrt, etc. Some of the boots did not last long at all! While others became useless after the outsole started deteriorating. Timberland was never my first choice, because I felt they were overpriced. In hind sight, I hope the Boondock prove me wrong! The boots look great with the pebbled leather and protective toe cap and plastic lining around the ankle. I did apply SNO-SEAL to the boots to protect the leather. That is something I have been using for years.
Edit:
Its been a couple of weeks, winter has started! The tread on the boots is great in snowy conditions, wore the boots while snow blowing the drive way. The insulation keeps your feet cozy, even with thinner socks. The rubbing went away and the boots are comfortable.
My husband uses these boots for work. These are the only ones that he says helps his heels feel better.
For some reason my boots smell funny, even after using odor eaters and boots inserts, I have great hygiene. So I'm not sure why they smell funny but I bought the timberland pro series 6" black boondocks for the second year in a row. If anyone wants to assist me with any ways to get rid of new boots smell or whatever it is I'd greatly appreciate it
I've been working in a automotive factory for 40 years on greasy oil floors these shoes are the worse. I almost slipped and fell I have to walk real slow or I will slip and fall. I have always worn a 12W they run small could use a 12 1/2 but they don't come in that size.
I bought these as a gift
Both the left and right heal have failed completely and you can see the octagon post for the anti-fatigue sticking straight through
I run a wheel loader on a utility pole yard in south Mississippi. It's always raining and I have dove of into puddles and my feet stayed dry. Another problem I've had is sole's splitting on other brands from me the metal steps on my loader but these have held up like a PRO! I like to wait and give a review after I have beat my boots up a bit and 8 months later they're still really comfortable, still dry, and the soles are handling anything I throw at them.
Excellent shoe. We have several employees who likeTimberland shoes as their shoe of choice.
Great boots!!!
Great working boot for cold weather and all conditions. Keeps feet warm too
Was amazing I'll buy again my brother wants it too
It's very Comfortable and I told me co worker get get them
These are some of the most comfortable boots I have owned. I typically prefer slip-on boots but was tired of the foot fatigue. After purchasing these timberlands I won't look back. Extreme all day comfort.
Very nice and comfortable ...
I work as a tow truck operator, so I walk on oily rollback decks without slipping and my feet stay nice and dry as long. These boots are great for their slip resistance, and the uppers have remained in great shape including the toe. But the sole of the boots are wearing faster then other boots I have owned. So
Pro: slip resistance
Uppers extremely durable
The anti fatigue insoles work great
Cons: sole wears extremely quickly
If timberland at least offered a discounted resoleing service for their pro line of boots, or changed the chemistry in the boots to keep the non slip grip but also add more durability that would be great
I bought these boots for work because they were advertised as waterproof. Now I don't expect them to repel water if I'm 6 inches deep in a pit but its pretty lame when my foot is soaked after working on a cooling tower for less than an hour. Slip protection is pretty abysmal aswell. Definitely not buying a timberland product after wearing these leather sponges.
I've been wearing these boots for well over a year in outdoor work environments as a fire investigator. I am very, very hard on footwear. The boots are immensely comfortable, rivaling a pair of high dollar backpacking boots. Very protective of my feet and toes; absolutely waterproof. Very easy don and doff. Best work boot I have ever had, bar none.
I've been wearing Timberland boots for over 25 years and they never disappoint. These boots are comfortable right out of the box. I highly recommend them and I would buy them again. You can't go wrong with Timberland quality!
I use this in all condition in a roof I a construction zone In a demolition, it's the best boots that you can use
The boots are wonderful, but the size is a little more bigger that the real. The material is asome the leather and the waterproof membrane
Best work boots ever, super fatigue free!!
Bought my first pair of Boondock 3 years ago. Before Boondock I tried other PRO Timberland's they didn't last longer than a year. I work as a residential painter/carpenter, for the past 3 years been in these boots for about ~4000hours. They did not disappoint me once. Comfortable and robust boots.I spend quite some time on my knees and toe cap cover material did not sanded thru, unlike all other boots I had.Never cleaned them, neither outside or inside, still no bad smell from inside.Insole top layer peeled off about a year ago (no problem about that), sole stitches come loose just a few weeks ago.
Great work Boot
I walk on concrete or asphalt a solid 8-10 hours per day. I'll put three to six miles per day on them. These were and are still the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Why then only two stars? I have had them only 6 months at the most and the heel and soles have worn out. I can not pay the price these boots bring and have them wear out that quickly.
Used in a mfg QA position consisting of a lot of kneeling. They work great with the reinforced toe. Still a bit heavy.
I loved these boots for the whole two months they lasted me, the sole came apart from the upper. Very disappointed
Really good boot probably the best boot I've ever had other than it's not lasting as long as boots I've had in the past. The sole wore down quicker than I thought it would and I've probably only had them for about 6 months. Also the heel on the inside wore through they need to put like a leather piece on the inside so the heel slides in and out easy. The comfort is unmatched, I work in the oil field and I'm on my feet for 16 hours a day and my feet feel great after a long day. The water proof works great my feet have not gotten wet once and sometimes I'm in water all day long. I would give it a 5 star if it weren't for the heel and the sole wearing out quick. I have recommended this boot to co workers and out here word of mouth is everything.
The first Timberland Pro Shoes i have lasted me for 20 months, that is why i purchases my second Timberland Pro shoes cause it last longer then any other shoes i buy out there in this market.
It fits my trade (demolition/asbestos removal) one of the best boots I ever weat. Great job timberline!
This is a great a boot unfortunately it's not true to size for me it fits half a size bigger. If it wasn't for that then great I wish I could exchange them!
Best boots I've ever bought! On my second pair of Boondocks, the first pair lasted almost 4 years. I work 2 jobs (tanker driver, and tow truck driver) and they stay comfortable and didnt break down until 3 5 years of use!
Comfortable and warm. Would like to see black in 8".
It's my second pair I wear them for work and fishing about 14 hours a day every day it's the first pair of boots that lasted a over a year worth the money
These boots are incredibly comfortable and a pleasure to walk in, however the outsole of the boot only lasted me about 7-8 months until the heel part wore down completely to the cushiony part, I do work a 60 hour work week though so it may last you longer.
I'm working on my third pair of these boots right now and they have been the absolute best boots ever if I can I'll keep buying these boots for Lifetime!
These are great, comfortable tough work boots. I am an Excavating Contractor. I own my own business and so I run machine, shovel or chainsaw. I am very hard on boots. These have lasted very well and are comfortable. The newer one just need a wipe with a cloth to be presentable.
Had these boot for the winter in Arizona and they did well besides feeling half a size too big. Now that its summer time in the 100's my feet have been feeling like an oven and I'm unable to use these for work. Waterproofing is great at the cost of breathability.
Boots are phenomenal. I am a lumber inspector who continuously flips hardwood lumber and sometimes the boards hit the toe or I need to maneuver lumber with my feet. The rubber toe on these boots are unstoppable. I've also owned a pair of Keen's and blew out the rubber toe in those in a little over a month. They are bulky; however very comfortable until you wear the soles out. Last about a year on my feet 10 hours a day with continuous beating from my job.
This is my second pair, they lasted me over 2 years which isn't to bad. They are the best boots I've found so far and extremely comfortable. They do seem to run a little big it seems like but that's the only complaint I would have. Awesome boots.
Each boot weighs 4 pounds.
It's confortable
Bought this pair, to replace a pair of oiled brown ones I have had for 4 years. Now, broken in and these are great. Love them! Comfy, tough, and a bunch of other adverbs I can't think of at the moment!
These boots are super light weight! My husband loves them. They are suportive and help my husbands feet not hurt as much after work.
I have been wearing these boots for 6 years. Each pair last about a year. Have tried others and are not as comfortable or hold up as good.
I've had redwings and wolverine and many others never been so comfortable out of the box with no break in needed and lasted as long if these ever need to replace will definitely buy another pair of boondocks
Best work boot I've had. Minimal to no break in period. Consistently comfortable through out the day. A little roomy inside but I have wide feet anyway. Insulation kept my feet warm during cold rainy days but not too hot during summer days. Waterproofing didn't fail on me. Gave me a solid year and a half, 9-16 hour shifts a day before the sole wore out to the point my feet would ache wearing them. Actually went with redwing 2414 as my newest pair recommended by a coworker but will most likely return to this boot when those are worn.
I'm very happy with my new boots
They are falling apart after a year no longer waterproof. Usually get at least 2 years from workboots. These are aweful
I work in wet environments on concrete for long hours. The anti fatigue technology keeps the bottom of my feet from hurting. The boots seem well constructed. However the boots are very bulky. Especially if you are a big size like me. The boots have plenty of room in the to bed, but they are to wide in the rest of the boot. This causes my foot to have some play in the boot. The boot is also heavier then most boots. This lead to my calves feeling strained after a long day.
I use these boots working at a car wash. I work long days in the concrete in a wet environment. The anti fatigue does work because the bottom of my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. They do keep my feet dry. The own side to these boots it's they are very bulky. I wear a size 15 these boots make my feet look huge. Also because they are so bulky they weigh more than other work boots I wear. This causes my legs to feel strained.
Good comfortable boot
I work in construction...I'm a 450lb man...THESE ARE THE BEST WORK BOOTS IVE EVER OWNED...I ACTUALLY GOT A FULL YEAR AND COUNTING OUT OF MY LAST PAIR....I RECOMMEND THESE FOR ALL BIGMEN!!!
I work in a wholesale wearhouse and had to get some new boots. Thought these would be good and I warn disappointed.
Best boots i have ever owned period. I am a Cell tower technician and climb daily in these boots saved me many days . Best boots for under $300.
I'm on my feet up to 12 hours a day, 5-7 days a week. Welding, crawling in and out of steam engine boilers either in our shop or in the field. Not only is the water proofing phenomenal, but for non insulated boots my feet stay warm. In the summer this doesn't cause any issue at all. Even where I've stepped on hot slag or torched off bolt heads the soles still life left in them. Best work boot I've ever owned.
I love this boots.so comfortable and warm!
drive trucks and run enloaders work in salt rain snow mowing grass blacktop these boots keep me dry and comfortable
I bought these for my husband...He uses them for work and loves them. He says they're comfortable and are good to his feet.
I bought these boots 6 months ago, I work at water and grease recycling plant, very wet job! I work 6 days a week anywhere from 10-16 hours day, my watch says I average 12 miles a day and these boots were amazing water proof, nice feel, and very comfortable! I liked them so much I recommended them to all my guys. The unfortunate part is they DONT LAST! the leather rip where the boot meet the sole, 3-4 in tear! Now everything enters my boot! Usually a pair of boots last a year or two. Its sad because these boots are great if your on your feet alot, just dont get them wet!
Everyday work boots that hold up better then any that I have previously owned
Own my boots for two years wear for work five days a week in all weather conditions. They take a beating every day . Time to buy another pair
This is my 2nd pair only because I got in a motorcycle wreck an the boots saved my feet. I have had this pair for almost 4 years an still feel good.
You guys are the best. The boots I bought are awesome. My friends are asking me where did I get them. Of course I tell themTimberland.
Advertised as waterproof. Definitely not waterproof. I've had these boots for 4 months and ever since the first day it rained they have never been waterproof. Not even water resistant. Great boot but not waterproof
Really well made boots. This is my second pair.
My favorite work shoes durable and stylish and super cofertable
Great fit and were easy to break in the only boots I'd wear at work
Great work boots. However the inside heel of the boot needs reinforcement material always rips. Overall its a good comfortable boot recommend buying a few pairs to switch them out once a week...
Very comfortable boots like them a lot at first. I put protective oils on boots for water. Also reapplied every couple of weeks. As job sites tend to get wet and muddy. Fast forward 4 months.. So after walking through job sites with rain
Best workboot around, lightweight
Always funny to review a product within the first week you got it. Seems to me to be more relevant if I reviewed after 6 months or so. That being said, the thought I had when I put these on the first time was...wow these are the most comfortable boots I have ever slipped my feet into. As a 52 year old General Contractor I have worn many boots in my day, including quite a few Tims.
I normally wear 11's and if wide is an option I will always select it. I read the reviews and decided to order 10-1/2 W, as they are rumored to run about a 1/2 size too big. That was correct. The 10-1/2 wides are perfect. Definitely a cool look...tried to buy a second pair but by the time Timberland sent me a 20% off promo code for "leaving them in my cart," they were sold out. The fact that my frugal butt would buy a second pair prior to giving them a real test run of a few weeks should shout out that these boots are sweet!
I would recommend them to my friends but size 10-11 is a common size and since they can't seem to keep them in stock, I think I'll keep them a secret.
I'm an electrician, so needless to say I really put my feet to work.. These boots have been basically bomb proof. These will be the only shoe line I will use for work.
Started construction 40 years ago. I have gone thur more boots than there are names. I've always gone to Timberlands for quality. This is the frist time I bought a boot over the $120 mark. I should have done this before, and you should consider it know. My co-worker has a pair, he has worn the last two years, still in good shape, waterproof! . I gave them a try with Timberlands return policy, it was a no brainer. These have been the best boots I've ever had. NO cold feet, NO water, and comfort from day one. I'm looking forward to winter with warm, dry feet, thanks to Timberland Pro Boondocks.
The boot keeps me warm but it makes my feet sore from standing. Its a very hard shoe to stand in.
I not only work in these boots I live in them they are my everyday shoe I wear them with jeans they look so nice the inside mesh is good on socks composite toe is great on falling objects the heel is soft and strong for 10hr work days my only con is the front sole runs down 10.5W Best Work Boot Ever
I have had the boots for less than a month. My feet feel protected, except for the inside of the boot. On the inside of the left boot, the construction of the boot is starting to fail. It squeaks so loud that I can hear it over most of our equipment when I walk. I though it was the insoles, but now my foot rocks back toward that corner and pinches slightly.
I called customer service and was told because I can not take a picture of the problem that I would have to send the boots back to them. Really? Not much of and option because I can't work barefoot. Switching back to Wolverine. Very disappointed.
I'm in the industrial field walking on concrete all day and these boondocks not only offer the most heel comfort and toe room, but help me with my plantar fasciitis pain.
Wear that for 2 days so far, very soft inside. Don't k don't how durable yet.
The boots are warm . Supper support . Comfortable like slippers They are my work pair and need a second pair for home. They are heavy but you get used to it for all the other good .
I Love them, very comfortable.
Bought same size as previous Timberland boots- must wear extra thick socks to fit.may be a good thing for winter use. Otherwise pleased with these boots
I have tried 2 different styles of Redwings and both were way too uncomfortable. I am on my second pair of the Boondocks and they are great. I still have the first pair and they are a year old and still in great shape.
This is an excellent work boot.... I'm a long haul flat bed truck driver...
I have been in construction for close to 30 years
And more boots then most would imagine
These boots take the beating of a pro boxer
And still walk like a running shoe
I've had them on iron , mud , scaffolding , roofing and more
I will buy these again and again and I don't care about the price
Sign installer/ Crane operator
There a bit heavy but hands down the most comfortable work boot ive ever owned. So comfortable i wore em outside of work everyday and the soles never wore out.
Extremely comfortable. Lots of room in the toe. This is my 3rd pair. I wish the shoe itself especially the bottom outsole would last longer though.
Seem very good so far. Definitely water proof and slip resistant. Feel good but I'm flat footed so I need insoles but they still fit well and are plenty wide for my toes.
Very comfy, it's my second pair and I like it
Best boots I ever bought, just wish they would take off the rubber on the front, I fuel heavy equipment and after a while the diesel fuel makes the rubber expand and they start looking like clown boots as you can see in the picture but still lasted longer then any other boots I've had.
They are completely comfortable with the anti fatigue they feel like they're tennis shoes. They're not heavy like steel toe and ur feet do not freeze in the cold. The composit toe is the best for cold weather.
Most comfortable work boot out there. Hands down!!
Not comfortable boots , I take wide its looks like wide but inside no space for my finger , I use it one hour and take out , so hot , no air inside and leg has a pain
Take back my Caterpillar
Great pair of shoes
You may feel it a little heavy on hands but they don't feel that way wen you wearing it
Perfect for a long work day
Right fit, right comfortably, right style.
If you are in the game to score you need the best tools to get you there and Timberland never disappoints. Their Pro line is really Professional, walk into any job site confident that you will be able to perform at your best no matter the conditions. Great product!
I bought one and I never felt so wrong. in 6 months I had to return 2 times, the inner part of the boot is loose and detachment ... (obs: I had a caterpilla for 3 years NEVER gave me problem.
I wore my last Pro boots for 5 years and it was time to upgrade and WOW, why did I wait so long? These are a huge improvement in comfort, in stability and in stride. I'm 72 and thought having sore feet was normal. Not anymore! The wide size, together with the dynamic arch insole, keep me working strong all day. Plus, they look great - high tech. This is the best boot I've ever worn.
nice
Comfort and safe.
Confirmation that feet woll be secured during work
My husband loves this product. He is on his feet all day and loves the comfort and support!
Just recently naught a pair and love how easy it is to get them on and take them off.
Bought these for my husband for work. He absolutely LOVES them! Size was true, wide with not needed like some of his other shoes. He does FUEL TRANSPORT and will be putting them to the test! I'll keep everyone posted..as for now they're the most comfortable boots he owns!
I bought this for a work boot l. Nice boot but i had to send them back because they are too wide for me. Going to try anothet style.
This is my third pair of Boondocks. They are the most comfortable boots right out of the box I've ever worn. No break in required.
They are not as heavy or clunky as they look. Waterproof, great traction and durable with a rubber bumper coated toe to protect the front toe area from wear through. I have never seen anyone wear through to the steel toe on these like what happens with other steel toe boots.
Love my Boondocks
I am a auto tech for the state and I work long shifts all winter long. I work out In the snow/ice as well as in the garage where snow is melting off the trucks and I never had to worry about my feet getting wet or slipping. these boots will keep you safe and dry year round. I have had these boot for almost a year now and the insoles are just starting to come apart, not bad since I am carrying a few extra pounds on me. I will be purchasing the original insole from timberland as they are a very comfortable insole.
Great boots. My husband loves them.
I have struggled the last month and a half to find a pair of steel toes that don't leave me almost broken at the end of a long shift in an industrial setting. After purchasing 8 other pairs, I finally went to a 'real' shoe store (old fashioned, they do the sizing and fitting), and tried these on. I didn't even look at another pair. It was amazing. I now make it full shifts in minimal pain (no small feat considering my age and condition!) and even volunteer for overtime. I STRONGLY recommend these boots if you have tender feet like I do, if you are not used to working on your feet, they are worth every penny.
Good looking shoe, well made, comfortable. Size runs a little small.
Very comfy boots
After 1week of wearing this i got sore feet. Huhuhu and the refund policy u will take 6-8 weeks after i return the boots. What do you think i will wear while waiting for the refund? I thought this boots will make my money worth it. What happen after if i return my boots is no money no boots bad feet back to rainboots even if its too hot... Bad choice...
I've been in landscaping boat building and concrete with these boots all at the same time. They handle whatever I've thrown at them. I've worn the soles down to smooth and the foam is now showing ( not deteriorating at all). This is my first review ever. I am not bs when I say best boots ever. Yes they are heavy, I want protection and protection weighs as much as these boots. I put my new pair on today and the felt stiff (brand new leather boots) but if I remember correctly they break in in about 1-2 days. My old ones I just put on after wearing these around the house is like a worn in baseball mitt comfy and snappy they just aren't waterproof anymore after three years of abuse. I probly should have oiled them more but they seemed to be fine but now with no rubber on the bottom, from wearing down not falling off, they just get a little soppy after a couple hours in the rain. The water soaks in slowly from the bottom I think. I would love to give them to timberland for study purposes because I hardly see anyone wear boots past two years let alone three.
Ultra comfortable and safe and durable. Wide toe box doesn't ever pinch me. Durable toe and heel guard never wore out even after thousands of kicks to loosen up concrete pins. I have allways rested sheets of plywood on the composite toe and never phased anything.
Super good grip in mud.
They look a little big around the toes but we are kicking butt and taking names not in a beauty pageant.
So buy these boots and take good care of them and they should take care of you.
Comfortable boot, does not last very long!!
I've had these for just over a year. In that time I've beat them thru mud, snow, oil, pressure washer, freezing temps, trudging in flooded basements.....my feet are warm, dry, never sweaty or sore like typical boots worn all day, (admittedly I wear loose in
Love the boots.
This is my second pair
Incredible boots!! Fit amazing, super comfortable and they last! No break in time with these!
Will be buying another pair!
Had them for undercoating vehicles and the grip they have is unbeatable. Undercoated over 300 vehicles and they held up well!
It feels a little wide however i'm working 8-10 per day nonstop with zero slippage and zero blisters. It also allows for thicker socks in the winter. The toe construction is awesome (actually the whole boot)
I bought them for work and the boots performed well
So far so good. Have only worn for 2 days. 3rd pair of Timberland's I have owned. Love them!!
I love my timberland pro boots. I am on my 4th pair in a row. I usually get around 2 years out of a pair that I wear 5 to 6 days a week 8 to 10 hours a day.
Never buying another boot! Other brands I'll give them the boot!!
I use them in construction but I think I wiil be wearing them casual sometimes. Clean, of course
Best boot ever start to finish. Overnite delivery service, delivered 4 days later... Not completely satisfied, no refund for services not rendered.
Had mine for two years good boots
So far only 1 issue. The top lace buckles dig into your ankles and legs. Had to add extra padding to keep it from hurting during the day. Otherwise, pretty solid work boot. insole is comfortable compare to other boots but the lace buckle thing is driving me nuts...
Just purchased my second pair of these boots after getting 3 years( that's right I said 3 years) out of my first pair. The tread is certainly worn out and they are not quite waterproof anymore, but they are still comfortable. I work in construction (plumber) and I'm in my boots 9-10 hours a day and the anti- fatigue feature of these boots is awesome.
Very good work boot. The large mouth opening to put your foot in and only five eyes of lace , allows this boot to go on and off very smooth. I can't stand fighting to take boots off after a long day.. One thing that can make the boot better. It needs a pull tab on top in the back so you can pull them on easy. This should be a loop you can put your index finger in. loops on most shoes are to small and I can't get my finger in it. The loop needs to be about the diameter of a quarter in size or bigger. Easy on / off is important to me.
I have had these boots for a month and they are already leaking. Just walking through snow and then melting on my boots is enough to soak my feet. I work construction in Western Upsate New York and need water proof reliability. Did not get that in these boots. Will search for another boot maker.
When they say wide it's really wide. Try regular size first before ordering wide.
So far so good
Construction/Demo work mainly. Great boot! Rain mud snow, can walk through anything with these without getting wet. Great grip to.
great boots
great boots
Highly recommended! Very comfortable! I've had my current pair for almost 18 months. I've recommended these boots to several co-workers. Many have purchased them and have been equally pleased! Can't say enough about these boots! They're amazing!
Removable insole most uncomfortable things. Used Justin boots and they were a lot more comfortable. Not many insoles helped and they hurt my feet and legs everytime that I wore these.
This is my second pair Timberland Pro boots. I had the first pair for about 3 years. For the first 2 years I primarily wore them on the weekends while cutting timber and land clearing. Then for the last year I wore them during the weekdays in an auto repair shop and while building a new log home. Finally the padded part on the top of the boot started to separate from the boot. They were the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn! I wish I had bought 4 pairs!
The new pair are pretty good, but they are not as comfortable as the first pair. The original pair had like a honeycomb type cushioning underneath the insole and the new pair does not. The insole itself has a little more cushioning than the original pair but it is not as comfortable. The jury is still out on weather they are going to hold up like the other pair and if I will purchase another pair.
Great fit and very comfortable
I use these workboots for work in the MTA. They are approved footwear. Compared to other workboots that I've been wearing, these are warm
2nd pair of boondocks for me. Very comfortable boot. Yea the fit is pretty wide but i have wide feet so it works for me. One thing i wish you guys coild change is make the rest of the boot fit a little snugger. The room in the toe box is fine but the rest of the bootseem to have an excess anount of leather which causes the joot to lose rigidity and support. But with saying that, these boots have brought me back to timberland pro. Wuit buying TP's years ago because of durability issues but these are great for my line of work. 12hr shifts on concrete are a breeze. Ive pretty much quit buying two other american made brands i swore buy because they keep changing the build quality and comfort to save a buck but yet keep raising the price. Now i just gotta find a warm weather boot i like from you guys because rhese are a little too hot for me in the summer time.
Three weeks in, so far only 1 issue. The top lace buckles dig into your ankles and legs. Had to add extra padding to keep it from hurting during the day. Otherwise, pretty solid work boot.
I bought these boots because I work outdoors in all types of weather. Overall they are very nice boots, a little heavy but very comfortable. Unfortunately while I was shoveling snow they began to leak and my socks became soaking wet. I work down by the water in New England so having cold wet feet is a nightmare. I would recommend these boots but not for shoveling snow
I build scaffold outdoors and this boot is perfect for the elements.
I love the wide widths. Only shoe that fit my feet.
I'm a wind technician in Washington state. These boots are the best boots I have ever owned!
I have both insulated and regular.
I bought these almost 1 yr ago. I work at a heavy truck dealership, I'm on my feet about 10/11 hours a day. These boots are comfy right out of the box. The factory provided insoles only last about 3-4 months. I buy identical replacement insoles.
testing them out to see if they are comfortable -long term
Definitely a well made boot
I'm in the construction industry and they are very comfortable but the sole doesn't last, I've used them for 6 months and the soles are shot. That's only down to this boot
Good
Can't really give a good review. Ordered these because I thought they would last a little longer than the chocurua trails. They seemed comfortable but were just too heavy for me, as I said I'm used to the chocurua trails
These are the best boots I have ever own. Comfortable, strong and very long lasting. I only get one year if I'm lucky on boots, coming up on two years and still going strong. No waterproof problems. They need to make a black version.
perfect!
Per my son who works outside all day. They are wonderful. They keep you feet warm and dry. Best boot I bought for him
Awesome boots long lasting and durable.
Had my first pair for 2 years just now bought a new pair amazing comfort and great durability, only boot I'll buy as long as they make them plus they are good in cold weather
I wear them in all situations at work. Mud, rocks, concrete, walking a lot, hot, cold, climbing hills, stairs, gravel, ladders, dusty, rainy, slippery. You name it. So far they are much better than my $220 read wangs were. Best boots ive had in my 52 years.
I've bought two pairs of these boots and both broke down at the sole very quickly. Neither pair lasted longer than 5 months and the waterproofing only lasted 3 months before socks began getting wet. It's a shame because I can honestly say these are the most comfortable work boots I've worn.
I work in a rock quarry These Boots go through some hard work I pretty much live in them for 12 hours a day my feet never hurt they're always warm and they never get wet I've had these boots now for over a year and I think they'll just keep going thank you Timberland for making an excellent work boot the only problem I have with Timberland is I cannot find a store that carry their line of clothing I would love to try some of their clothing
I am a telco worker so I am in and out of homes, working on all types of ladders, and gaffing poles and they are the best boots I have ever owned. I wish they had these when I was in the military would have bought then too. My feet have never hurt after a long day.
Although this boot feels a bit large, it is the only boot that I have had so far that does not require an additional insole. To put it simply, it's like walking on sunshine.
This is my husband work boots and he doesnt buy anything also. He absolulty love it
Both my boys love these boots and every time I ask them what they want they say Timberland Boots. They tell me they're very comfortable and durable. And, I'm happy to buy them.
Good comfortable boot.
Shoe feel great....
I'm a retired Boilermaker. I've worn every make of boot. I like the timberlands best. Extremely comfortable and long lasting. I just bought these boots. They felt already broke in. Not work boots anymore. They're cool boots that keep the feet warm and protected in cold weather. I also ride in them. (My Harley). I love 'em...
The only bad thing about it is not a waterproof at all, leather absorbs water and you get wet foots, I work indoor with some steam and water on the floor in a food company, everything on the boots is ok except that
I have had 2 prs of these boots before. The first pr I bought from a co-worker who was too big for them. The second pr I purchased from Fingerhut. Both were the most comfortable boots that I have ever had. This 3rd pr is an upgrade and I have now worn them for 2 days of road construction work. I will buy these style of boots for the rest of my working life.
Overall these boots are the most comfortable on your feet. I work in NYC as a laborer, were working mostly on concrete and walking over tons of debris plus water. I really put these boots through a beating, so they didnt last as long as i hoped. Thats really my only issue, i feel like for the money they should have lasted a year at most (baught these Feb. 2017). The welt will start to seperate over time so water will get in. I would deff recommend this boot to anyone that is looking for a super comfortable feel for long working hours.
Work in the electrical field - very comfortable, very rugged, high quality product, so far so good
Expected to use these boots for general, non-abusive outdoor construction work. They leaked virtually immediately. Does the lemon law apply to the footware industry? Timberland Pros are highly recommended for guys who enjoy cold, wet feet caused by "waterproof" boots that aren't.
I've had this boots for the past 8 months and to my surprise, they are still holding up, despite to my previous timberland (different model) which only lasted 6 months.
The reason why i went with timberland again is the comfort. The leather quality is not as good as redwing but my feet just feel good after wearing them for 12 hours straight.
In regard to size they do run a bit big. I'm usually wear shoes size 10.5 but for my past 2 timberland boots 10 fits perfect.
Boots are very comfortable with having a composite toe!!!!
Comfortable BUT not worth it, less than six months in and I notice that the soles and heel area are separating, and the eyelets are sharp and I go through shoestrings 1 or twice a week, I will not be buying another pair, for the price I will by Red Wings next time.
Comfy and Super Protective....
Extremely comfortable my only problem is quality control I've had two pairs that both lasted well over 5 years but third pair started falling apart after 6 months
I work for the railroad in New Hampshire. We have a ton of varying terrain and weather, these boots keep impressing.I have bought 3 pairs, 2 of which I still use. I use the 8" 1000 gram pair for winter, and the 6" uninsulated pair for the other seasons. The only letdown is the insoles keep failing quickly which can be easily remedied with a thin felt insole...but I wish timberland...being from NH would help me out. I own a good collection from their pro lines,as well as regular casual wear. Maybe someone will see this and send me a pair of insoles in the mail because besides that I love everything I own from them!!
My husband does asphalt for a living which is hard on everything especially boots!! He bought his first pair of "Boondocks" 2yrs ago and he thought he had finally found the boot of a lifetime. He could not sing their praises enough to anyone in his line of work about how amazingly well these boots were but unfortunately that pair finally wore out and we headed right out to purchase another pair. We purchased another pair of the same exact boots that we had purchased the first time only this time we are severely disappointed
I use this product for work. I stand on my feet 8-12 hours a day and the boots are very comfortable. Break in period was only 2 wearings. Very good product for the price.
I bought this boot on the recommendation of several people. I work on the highways and walk a lot. These boots hurt my feet so bad after 2 days I had to return them. They would have been comfortable except the tongue was digging into the top of my feet. 16 hours in these boots and I am back to my old ones. I would not recommend these boots for anyone with flat feet they plan out just hurt. I have had several pairs of boots and gone through the break in period with no problems these boots I just could not handle it. Just not for me
Comfortable, strong and light weight with composite toe and threaded sole.
THESE ARE REALLY COMFORTABLE , DURABLE AND WATERPROOF
Just received my second pair of these little gems, I have owned so many different kinds of work boots but the search is finally over u until they quit making them these are all I'm wearing. If your one who can't use steal toe boots, I was once the same way don't be afraid to try these ones you will not be disappointed.
Liked the feel of the soles in the store, so thought I'd give them a try. I have a compressed nerve in my lower back that causes me some discomfort, after three days of wearing these boots the pain in my back increased to the point I could hardly walk. Relief only came when I would take them off and wear something else. I'm not sure if it was the extra weight of these boots or something else with the sole that caused this with me. I did enjoy the stability feeling with the boots, especially while walking on loose rock.
These boots didn't even last 3 full months. I work construction and was expecting a more durable lasting boot. At first they were comfortable, after about a month my feet were hurting.
I really glad that I bought the boots. It was comfortable right out of the box.
when i first got these boots i liked them they where comfortable but after a month they started to heart my feet i have bought inserts put them in and last a day then my feet heart .now by the time i get home i can barely walk. IM a HVAC tech so im on my feet all day ready to toss these boots out but the caost big chunk of money
Use for construction
Excellent boots to work!
Very comfortable boots. Felt great from day one, however it's not perfect. The soles wore out much faster than they have with other boots I've worn in over 20 years in the field. Another complaint I have is that the rivets for the shoe laces are sharp on the inside of the boot, and keep causing my laces to break. Another thing I noticed is the hotter it gets outside, the flimsier/ weaker the boot toe gets. Doesn't take much to smash down on your toes. Just a couple of small changes to this boot would make it perfect!
My son likes the wide toebox. Its hard to shoe him
Working in fields and pasture type areas where the grass is wet in the mornings or after it rains. Boots are so breathable that it lets the water right in. The waterproofing lasted a few weeks. After that, soggy feet in no time.
Just bought second pair of these and I also own a pair of the 8" insulated soft toe. Will have to say these are by far the best work boot I've ever owned. I am a mason and these boots were put to the test in water mud rocks concrete day after day. Last pair lasted 3 spring/ summers and are still wearable. Really comfortable and extremely tough. I'll be buying them as long as timberland makes them.
Bought these boots back in November. At first they kept my feet dry and warm but now that they are a couple months old Ive noticed my feet are wet by end of day and I'm having to take the insoles out to dry the inside of the boot with soda/armandhammer. Also the top layer of the insoles have detached. i have always bought Keen work boots and regret buying these.
Very durable and lasting comfort. Don't depend on the waterproofing for too long, but that's average.
Feels like walking on a cloud . All other boot hurt my feet and legs as i walk on concrete all day every day .
I finally found the best boot out there. They are so comfortable, easy on and off, durable, waterproof they are like walking on air.
Had these boots for 2 months best pair of boots I've ever worn. 1st day forgot old boots home knew I was working 12 hrs so was a little worried, didn't bother me one bit. I wear these boots every day even on weekends around house. Used them in last snow storm stayed dry and warm and they clean up good. Can't say enough about them. Timberland you out did yourself. I'm on my feet 10-12 hrs a day and like walking on carpet
I work out doors in rain, snow, Cement, water and this steelection toe boot is the best ever!
Great shoe for my needs with good customer service also warranty dept.
I bought these boots to replace a pair of Timberland Pro Helix that I had for several years. I purchased them due to them being waterproof and appeared to be well made. Not True. After just a little over a year and a half, I noticed the heals (both of them) looked as if it was coming apart. The heals on both boots appear to be dis-integrating from the inside out. I work in home construction.development and have never had this happen before. I am very disappointed in the life of these boots considering that I spent over $ 200 and thought they would at least last 3-4 years. I am switching to Wolverines and try them. Timberland, I think you have now lost a reliable customer
I needed waterproof boots for cold weather , these were a bit pricey but I figured you get what you pay for , I got them a few days ago and yesterday I wore them all day to break them before wearing them to work I wore them around the house , grocery shopping, walking the dog they were vet comfortable a bit heavy but I got use to that . So far I love mad that I didn't buy 2 pair one for work and one for every day the best boots I've ever had . I usually go 1/2 size big so I can wear 2 pairs of socks I didn't this time because these are made for the cold and wet weather so I went with my true size ..
Is a work boots. So use them to work
I'm a porter these boots are just right for my line of work
Stand on feet 10 hours a day. There is padding. Comfortable. Won't slip on ice. Able to pass through metal detector at work. Heavy. I keep a pair of sneakers in my trunk in case they stick me somewhere I walk at work. Large shoes go up above ankle. Top 2 laces where metal is comes undone easily.
I have purchased Timberland boots for 15 years now. Great boots overall for my feet, I have had the original chukkas, the first Timberland Pro's and now these Boondocks. I have to say comfort wise these Boondocks are amazing. Even with the inner sole wearing out from the ball of my foot, just popping new inserts in gave new life to the boot.
The biggest problem I have had is how wet my feet are getting shoveling snow in New Hampshire seacoast, not far from your Headquarters. When the storm is underway my feet feel great but then the snow covers the boot at first, then the heat from my boot breathing melts the snow, and soaks the leather. Then the storms switches over to rain and all the waterproofing that is promised goes out the window. My feet are soaked and I'm starting to feel miserable. I shoveled for 13 hours the other day and my feet were so prunie they hurt, not to mention it's cold so this changes the whole body, everything gets sore when your feet aren't protected. So I feel like the talk up of these being water impermeable is misleading and should be addressed plus now I need you to recommend me a boot that will keep my feet dry and comfortable!
I payed a lot for these boots specifically because they claim to be water proof.. well they're fine if you're stepping In an inch of water. They definitely are not for the winter. The first snow storm I used them while I was plowing. I barely stepped in the snow.. but when the snow melts it runs right into the top of the foot. Poor design guys. I am so disappointed and broke.. im going have to put plastic bags on my feet. Gonna have to save up again, and find some actual outdoor boots
This is my second pair of Timberland boots that I purchased for work. The first pair lasted for well over a year and are still usable for work around the house; mowing the lawn, etc. I switched to a wide size and the boots fit perfectly with a pair of heavy socks. Very comfortable. Very pleased.
This is the first pair of the Boondock Insulated I've owned. However I have purchased 2 sets of the Boondock 6" non insulated that are Identical to these. I must the insulated and the non insulated are the Best work boots I have ever owned. I work for Overhead Door Company of South Bend, and the weather and conditions very from -45 to 100 degrees outside. These boots get my approval. They are still in very good shape. Being in commercial construction environments, I am very impressed on how well these things do what they need to do. Only pair of boots I will buy anymore.
Most comfortable boot I have ever worn. A little heavier than my Keens but totally worth it. Wore them 6 hours the first day, 12 hours the next. No break in necessary at all. Had to switch to a lighter sock because they keep my feet so warm but they don't give you hot spots like my old boots.
Bought on sept 19 by mid November no longer waterproof I work at an ice plant water is everywhere so these are basically useless now
Boot fits perfectly and is very comfortable! Very durable and stylish as well!
The boots are a bit in the heavy side, but buck up sally, these are men's work boots. I work on cell towers and range from sopping wet Juneau, to 90 degree Fairbanks, to blistering cold -40 Fairbanks, and everywhere in between. I've had my current pair for over a year and a half now and they are holding up strong. For uninsulated, with a thick whool sock, I can wear these comfortably until about 0 degrees. My feet stay dry in the wet, and in the heat with a good whicking sock. They are the most comfortable boot I've worn and I've ranged from Georgia's, danner and wolverines.
I've tried every boot out there and these are by far the best! Comfy, durable and weatherproof! I buy these boots exclusively!
Love these boots. Super warm and comfortable. Perfect for the harsh mining environment I work in.
Very comfortable the only problem is they wear out way too fast not worth the money
Boot is very comfortable had them a week now break in isn't quite over yet mind you I work 12 hr days 5 days a week .... waterproof almost past the ankle! Breathes OK not the greatest but good for being waterproof
I use the boots for everything hiking, work and every day use.
These boots keep ya warm and dry when working out in the cold icy weather.
I work in the tree business (trimming, removing, etc) I'm on my feet all day. These boots were definitely comfortable, and no need to break in, but are a bit heavy and they also didn't last me that long. I've owned them for maybe a year now and the sole is all but gone and worn to where my feet are starting to hurt. I've had boots that cost half the price last longer while working pipeline construction. If you work heavy construction, pipeline, etc, look for another pair of boots.
I work indoors and outdoors. Lately the temperature has ranged from 95 to 115 degrees. These boots cause NO hot spots and no blistets. They've actually insulated my feet from the heat. I've gone up and down stairs and ladders, etc. I was concerned about breakin and waited for the pain. There was absolutely NO pain and no breakin. Each day of use they become more comfortable.
These boots were the answer to aching feet i was looking for. Extremely comfortable. They were fantastic the first few months from Nov thru march BUT.. on BOTH boots where the instep meets the heel the sole cracked and then the layers on the sole started to separate ALSO I used to be able to stand in 4 inches of water clearing a fountain drain and NOT one drop did my feet get wet BUT NOW the slightest bit of rain, puddle the boot soaks it up and my feet are drenched through and through. I had to buy a boot dryer so I could dry these for the next days work. Timberland , you let me down.
HOWEVER, I will buy another pair and give a 2nd chance while I send this pair in to timberland for review for manufacturer defect. I feel they will deny it and say it's my fault and not honor the fault.
NO..THESE ARE supposed to LAST at LEAST a year. I didnt get 6 months !!!
MY old black timberland pros that are 10 years old lasted much longer and ARE still in use to this day, but they cause my feet to ache.
I bought these for my husband to wear as work boots. He had worn Georgia boots for years but they always wear out fast and he was starting to complain of his legs hurting. He loves these boots and his legs and feet haven't hurt at all since wearing these boots! He was worried they would be difficult to get on since they don't have a "pull-on" at the back but they go on with ease.
love them
Dairy use and work
Immediately I noticed how comfortable these boots are. Everyone that has owned them has told me they are really comfortable and they were right. It feels like I'm walking on clouds thanks to the layer of gray foam in the outsole. Timberland should incorporate this in all of their work boots. They seem to be build very well. The leather is thick, the seams are triple and quadruple stitched down towards the bottom of the boot, and the toe and heel are well protected. The tread is aggressive and strong. The ONLY gripe I really have with these boots is the sheer width of them. I got regular like always and I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. The normal design of the boot is wide I guess. I can't even imagine what the wide sizes look like. Everyone noticed how big my boots looked on me so even as comfortable and tough as these boots are, I don't think I'll be getting them through my work again, hence the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5
The Boondock is actually really comfortable. The rubber sole is soft so it grips really well and the gray foam layer absorbs a lot of shock. It has a quiet step, meaning when my heel hits the floor, you don't hear a "clunk" so many other boots on the market. It's built like a tank. This is one of the few Timberland work boots that has the sole sewn to the upper. My only gripe is the sizing. They are unnecessarily large in the ball of the foot. They are still very wide. There's a lot of room in the foot, making it more prone to give me blisters. I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. I can't even imagine what the wide looks and feels like. But seriously, timberland should put that foam layer in every sole they make. That feels amazing
I really do not have anything negative to say; these boots are truly unbelievable! I ordered these boots online and I am normally not an online shopper for footwear, but I did this time. I was a bit skeptical until they arrived. When they arrived I immediately put them on and the first thing I noticed was how comfortable and how light they were. I bought these to replace my old Timberlands Pro's which I actually owned for at least ten years.
Needs to be broke in
I'd been using a pair of wolverines for about 6 months that were finally starting to seperate at the heels. Working in packaging, solid toes was the main priority, and these boots fit and exeeded that bill. Good traction, stability, and they appear to fit the listed 9.5 size (can some style points fit in too?) I haven't had any long term usage, but on some occasions have worn them almost 18 hours, and my only denouncement is that these aren't featherweight boots.
Verry comfortable for a heavy duty work boot
I will order another pair .
Not my first pair. I work in all types of weather. Bought a pair before winter and feet stayed dry/warm and unbelievably comfortable. Just bought these for summer.... found my footmate!!!
This is my third pair of timberland pro boots and they are heads and shoulders more comfortable than any boot I've ever worn. With that said the Achilles heel of this brand seems to be durability. The Titans I had wore out 2 months after I bought them. I ventured out to other brands and while they lasted longer, they definitely were not anywhere as comfortable. I came back to timberland and got the boondocks because of the welted construction and it looked like they were built to withstand what I could dish out. I do a lot of pipeline work in gravel yards and am on my feet 10-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week. After three months these boots are holding up very well except in the comfort department. All the extra cushioning that these boots had at first is gone and they are getting to the point where they need another set of insoles. Other than that they are pretty good boots.
I use timberland boots for work they are durable, and comfortable
I work 11-12 hours a day on wet areas that includ oil / water i used to own pitboss 6" that has the best oil / water resistace i ever used , i have wide feet , i decided to give thos a try after using my pitboss over 3 years and i must say its the most comftable boot i ever had , the oil/water resistance is little bit less effective then the pitboss but i could stand long hours and have my feet warm and DRY!!! extreamly waterproof!
LOVE IT!
First off these boots are extremely comfortable right outta the box
I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs a day and i have tried alot of different brands these are the best boot for the money.
I am a cement finisher and concrete really beats up boots so far great no rips or tears or seams coming apart 5 stars would definitely buy again
Very aggressive tread helps on what ever the jobsite throws at me and durable!
I am a lumber Inspector and having a comfortable boot that is warm and can take a beating is very important. I have bought several different brands and one different style timberland boot only to have the toe seperate where the sole is attached. This is the first pair that has so far stood the test and has me feeling confident I have found the work boot for any lumberman. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day either. If I can get a year out of these I will be extremely happy as compared to the other boots coming apart within a couple months. (Thank God for warranties)!
4 days after buying the boot the anti-fatigue insert fell apart.
Ive had these boots for 5 months now. I work at a water Authority, so the work i do involves getting wet. These boots kept my feet dry for the first three months, and since than have failed me time and time again.
Very comfortable safety boot . I can concentrate on my job and not worry about these boots because they are doing thier job
These boots are absolutely fantastic. While they are on the more expensive side you definitely get more than you pay for. The composite toe in these boots means they are ugh lighter and more comfortable and flexible than a boot with steel toe but provide the same safety protection you'd expect.
I have owned these boots for a little over a year and I haven't found a single flaw yet. They work well in all sorts of weather including heavy ice and snow.
I use a mink oil paste to keep the leather looking good and broken in as well. As protection from scuffs and scratches.
These boots are a definite answer to aching feet and sore knees and backs. They are extremely comfortable and provide an awesome amount of anti-fatigue material to ensure the moment you put them on to the moment you take them off they work hard to keep you going.
I highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a pair that withstand extreme weather/harsh conditions and have to be on their feet for hours and hours without rest.
These are the best boots I've ever owned.
Had this product for 6 years now they have exceded my original expectations they are very comfortable, I purchased them a size larger because at the time was working on very cold conditions, with no steel shank or toe my feet would stay dry and warm

I wear these boots 15 hrs a day for work in a Warehouse and feet DO NOT HURT. The Toe Guards are a must because of Pallet Jack use and climbing under racks knelling on Pallets. Would definitely recommend these boots.

Boots look great and feel good. I tried these on in the store first and they fit great. For some reason I buy work boots a whole size bigger than casual boots. Work size 9.5, casual 8.5
