Why would you put in the fine print to order a size up, when you could simply sell them in the size that they are?

My first pair I ever owned. There nice, I enjoy them. I will say that I would of order one size shorter in the leg then you normally wear.

Great for working in the cold. Runs tight, make sure to order a couple sizes larger so you can layer.

The bibs are well made and appear very durable. A little stiff but hope after a few washings the material will soften up.<br />I ordered the 44x34. way too big. Returned them and ordered the 42x32 and fit good. Carhartt made it very easy to return an item and even provided return shipping label.

I love them!! I’m to old and not limber enough to get into those zip to the knee bibbs no more.

I purchased the Duck Zip to Thigh Bib Overall/ Quilt lined for my husband who was traveling to upper Michigan for an ice fishing trip. After wearing them the first day of course they became wet. That night he put them in the dryer on low as the tag indicated. While in the dryer the strap became tangled which resulted in a tear and fraying. Is there anything you can do to fix this situation?We purchased Carthartt believing they are the best and made to last. It’s disappointing to have this happen after first use. Please advise us on our options.

Purchased these for my son who works outside in cold weather. He is really happy with them. They do their job.

Great fit, definitely take their advice and go up a couple sizes if you plan on layering though.

I sent them back. They were hard to get into because the sizing seemed small compared to my usual choices, but most of all, the bib clips looked and felt cheap and did not look like they would last the 10 years that my (used) Polar Kings did. I thought Carharts were supposed to be worth the extra money, but I was not convinced. Disappointing.

I had always admired these bibs but for some reason or another I passed them by. What a mistake. My son sent them to me as a gift and I am over joyed. Couldn't ask for a better fit and I find them both comfortable and warm. The craftsmanship and the material they are made from tells me they will be around for a long time.

I ordered these for my son who is a little over 6’2. I ordered the 36 length, should’ve gone with the 34. I had to send them back, which was a painless process, but had to order the 34 from somewhere else as they were sold out here.

Great insulated bibs. Fit good and look good. Wasn’t sure about navy blue; but now that I have them, I think they’re my favorite color. I only wish the legs had a double zipper like my last pair. My old pair I could zip down the top of my leg a little. Sounds weird but I’m hey got HOT if you move around a lot. I liked the ability to vent them out. Otherwise they’re great!

I have been buying and wearing out Carhartt coats, overalls, and coveralls for 40 years. I usually passed them down to my son's when they were teenagers. The only thing is the sizing is inconsistant across product lines.

Had no issue with product. They were rather tight for a 40w. Im 36/38w and wanted a little room and that wouldnt work. I returned them and needed to buy something else right away so I could not do an exchange.

I had my other pair of bids for over 20 years I got too fat over the years.

Runs small, so too tight. Also fasteners are cheaper built than past years’ models.

The website recommended ordering one size larger than your Jean size. I wear a 34 waist in jeans but the 36 overall s were too tight. I reordered 38s and they fit great. Otherwise I love the bibs

Very warm and comfortable. Lenth wise fit me just right. My pant waist size is 36 and I bought 40 fits a little snug with pants underneath when you button up the sized buttons but still comfortable.

The waist size run small , I ordered 44 in the waist the first time i could not snap the side snaps at all. I sent them back , then reordered a 50 in the waist only can snap one side , but other wise the fit , so I said I will keep them . I had to travel 30 plus miles one way to ship the first pair back , I was not going through that a second time.

Working outside all day in pest control, been dealing with higher than knee deep snow, and a polar vortex right now in Wisconsin. These bibs have kept me warm, dry and comfortable. Ive recommended them to all my coworkers and i cant recommend them enough to anyone who reads this.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He's 6 ft tall and usually wears a 34 x 34 jeans. Based on reviews I sized up to a 38 and I'm glad I did. With multiple thick layers underneath the fit is just right. I ordered a tall length and probably could have gotten by with a regular length. The shoulder straps are fully tightened and still a little too long, the leg length drapes slightly over his boots. He says they're very warm and comfortable and the pockets come in handy for his gear (he's an amateur astrophotographer). Definitely a win.

I was a little disappointed with the sizing. I thought they ran small. These were for my husband who is 6’4 and 250. I bought according to the sizing chart and sizing up. He can still wear them and the quality is just like always from Carhartt! We love them and it’s the only brand we buy for him!

wow these things are amazing! <br />can work out in the cold all morning and break a good sweat!<br />i got the regular and the strad was way to long the straps are adjustable, but only to a certain point.. i had to sew it up the cross sraps in the back so they fit better.

These are not even close to lined! They are paper thin. Bring back the Arctic lined coveralls and I will come back as a customer.

I purchased these to stay warm when out by the bonfire or sledding with my kids. It is amazing I can be outside for hours with total comfort.

I was very excited to order these over-alls and receive them on the exact day promised. Then extremely disappointed after opening the package. The first thing I see is a notice, reminding me to order the over alls 2" larger than my normal size! Wouldn't it be better to have that notice on your web site before people order and receive a size too small with a notice stating you should have ordered larger? RETURN

Love them! My husband has worn them for years, in fact until they are shredded. Warm, durable. Had a bit of a challenge finding the right size. Wonderful once we did.

Disappointed! Second time I wore them, a button fell off on the leg. I’ve had another coverall for 20 years and it is still in great shape.

Excellent quality, well made, zippers are great for going over clothes. Quilting works well for keeping warm. Just note that you need to order at least one size larger than normal waist size, and two sizes larger if wearing clothing underneath. I am a 36 waist, so I ordered a 40, and it works great.

I've had the same ones before. think a good 5 yrs out of them. Before zippers failed and holes got too big.

I liked then but were too small and had to return. The online size chart runs a size small so order 1 size up and that information was on my bibs when I received them.

not a huge fan of front pockets would be great if modified for cell phone. worked great for screwdrivers. if you have a multitool, the pockets wont secure with the clip. be great if they had thicker area. i found the length right on if wearing boots with heels. if wearing Merrill type shoes, cuff will drag. all and all i recommend and will buy more

Terrific! Everything i hoped they would be and more! Wore them yesterday while clearing snow off the driveway. Was warm and dry the whole time. I went a bit larger (42 with 36actual)in the waist to accommodate normal work gear a sweater under the overalls and ensure access to a concealed pistol. It was a good choice!

They are spot on in nearly all aspects. <br /><br />My only issue is that the adjustable straps to the bibs need to be shorter as my 29" measurement with 28" inseam bibs still ends up with back cuff of pants dragging despite the added height of steal toe boots.

Got these for my dad. Sizing gave us some issues, so definitely size up in the waist if you plan to wear any type of layer beneath them. A little heavy, but that's what you want in a work coverall.

Worth EVERY penny!! As a commercial plumber/construction worker, I've ultimately learned that investing in quality work wear is usually money well spent. In my experience, Carhartt products have always been exemplary with regards to both comfortability and durability.<br /><br />Their lined overalls have been keeping me well insulated during the early morning hours of my shift at work and even act as light protection and padding, which comes in handy when crawling around up in tight ceiling full of insulation, bits of demo'd plaster, chicken wire and Lord knows what all else.

I bought these for my partner who is a mobile diesel mechanic. He absolutely loves them. They fit true to size, and he especially likes the zippered chest pocket for carrying his phone during the day where it won't fall out. The insulation is just right so that he can just wear long underwear and a sweatshirt underneath and be comfortable in the PNW winter. The navy blue color is really good-looking, and hides the inevitable grease and dirt pretty well.

My first pair, and I am just impressed with every aspect of this bib. The quilt lining keeps me warm, and completely eliminates winter wind issues. With only a pair of long johns on underneath, I was toasty warm in below zero weather. The only thing I could ask to change is for Carhartt to make classic products like the R41 in the USA.

Not true to size at all! I ordered size 34x28 because reviews said they ran really long. My daughter is a 26x30 and these overalls barely fit her.

I bought my first pair late spring for the landscaping season, completely changed my year.<br />Even with the lining, doesn't over heat the body.<br />Knee pads are a true luxury and my body has thanked me for realizing I'm old and padding my joints.<br />Bought my newest pair for the winter to have a different color to switch it up.

I wear a 3232 in Carhart pants I wear jeans and a pair of longjohns under my bibs I suggest actually measuring your inseam I get my pants a little bit longer apparently ./. 34 30 if you don’t button the top button on the bibs 36 30 if you do like to button the top button .I’m not a top Buttoner gives me more room . I am an industrial electrician I use them trust .

All good except the buckles. They need to be upgraded to a heavier, easier to hook buckle.

He loved them, We ordered the waist 1 size up and thank good ness for that. Everything else it awesome. So I bought me a pair too!!!!

Overall the bibs are good. Ordered 32" inseam- these are marked 32" but are 34". I wear 32" and these are not. Biggest issue is the the shoulder straps are very, very long- had to use zip ties to fold over and cinch down to shorten. Will take to tailor shop to shorten after wash- hoping will shrink. The buckle on straps are not Carhartt quality and are poor.

I got these for my husband to wear when he rides his supermoto to work in the winter. They are easy to slip over his boots since the legs zip so far up. He said he has been nice and warm with these.

Just what my hubby needed.

Really great bibs, well constructed. Im giving it 4 stars because the legs are absolutely too wide. Im swimming in these bibs. Also, the button snaps by the ankle could definitely be more thought out. Id rather them put a strap style button system on the ankle area. The chest is fine and should allow for layering underneath. They need to fix the huge leg part. I ordered size 38x28. My opinion, buy one size larger than your belly circumference and one size less than pant length. I bought the actual size of my belly circumference and they are a little big.

Christmas Gift

I’ve had a pair of these for most of my adult life and found them indispensable for winter outdoor work. These new ones certainly fit more snug than my older pairs - there’s even a tag on them that says “order two sizes up for layering” I would have ordered two sizes up had I known, and hence the four star review. This is not information provided in either the item description or in the sizing chart online so be warned. Otherwise a great product and can’t wait to break them in.

Fit is perfect, nice and warm

I am glad that I tried on a pair at a local store before buying online. I am 150# and 30-32 pant size and ended up buying a 34-32 size in these bibs. The recommendation from Carhartt was that you should go up a size from your normal pants for these, or two sizes up if you're going to layer underneath. So if I would have bought based on these standards I would have got the correct size without having to go try them on first. 30-32 was way too small and 32-32 fit with just a shirt, but not enough movement room for my preference. Length was spot on. I recommend going by this guide, or trying on a pair first. Other than that, they are really warm and comfortable

I am about 5'10 and 190 pounds just received my order today and tried them on they fit perfect. I ordered the 32 32 size and I have full range of motion and nothing bunches or there is no tightness. The pants seem to be very warm and won't need to wear a thick layer underneath I work construction year round and these will definitely be worn everyday come winter time very happy with my purchase.

Overalls were very small to size. After ordering 2 sizes both of which did not fit my husband we gave up.

Amazing bibs overall, they are durable and work perfectly for my job. I’m able to bend a twist which is the biggest part of my job. I love these bibs more then any other bibs I’ve ever had.

Size is not right

Perfect for work and play, nice and warm! I really like them.

Zipper on the crotch has some how gone to far up after the first use and now is stuck. I usually live in my bibs and now it suck to take off all the way to pee.<br />Overall terrible construction and very disappointing.

Replaced husbands old worn pair.

The sizing was ridiculously wrong. It must have been 2 to 3 sizes too small. I also was disappointed with the quality of the buckles. They felt lightweight and rough on the edges. I have always been a buyer of Carhartt products so I do expect more from your products. I returned them and bought a different brand. The sizing was spot on.

I have had my bibs for 3 winters now and they are still going strong. I would recommend going up 2 sizes if you plan on wearing extra clothes underneath.

Upset to find out that the bibs are very snug and pockets cannot be used. I went with the recommended size and they should at least be two sizes bigger. My package arrived way faster than expected but cannot use the pair at work when I am in need of them.

I do woodworking and knifemaking and these bad boys take the wear and tear no problem. I've have chunks of metal, wood splintering and even a run in with a sanding belt and they protected me. (not recommended but shows the amazing quality!)

I got 2 pairs of uninsulated overalls is size 38x34. They fit fine after being washed. Plus I got 2 more pairs of insulated 38x34 and the waist was smaller and the inseam was longer. I am 5'10" 225 , for measure. The insulated was way too long until I washed them and now they will work, but still long. I don't understand why these are so mixed up. Other than that I love my overalls!

My go-to work/hunting wear first choice is ALWAYS Carhartt!

I currently work in a cold storage warehouse. It's about 36f on the dock, and -5f in the freezer (which is most of the warehouse)<br />At this point, if you're thinking about getting these just get them...<br />I also do firefighting in my off time and I've worked a few wrecks on my route to work/home. <br />I recently bought a second pair. <br />The pockets on top do more then well also. Can fit a smartphone in the top zipper pocket, and my lockout/tag out, and the two side (skinny) pockets make good for knives and large markers (warehouse work)

Just putting on my new bibs and surprised by how snug they are. I notice there is a tag on the shoulder strap that says but one size larger than normal pant size and two sizes larger for layers. It sure would be great to put that info online rather than the stupid fit finder. If I had seen those words on line I would have pants with an appropriate fit. Not so happy.

My husband has wears Carhartt work pants daily. Ordered his size in the bibs, his old ones finally wore out. and he cannot even get them pulled up past his thighs. Now I’ve got to deal with the headache of sending them back.

I am a 30/30. I am 5’9” and weight 160 and Carthart recommended I purchase 30/30. After reviews I ordered 34/30, so two sizes up. They fit great and I can wear clothing underneath. I am relatively slim tho and still could have gone up three sizes to 36/30 and been very happy. Sturdy product.

Been wearing Carhartt for years. I'm a Weldor by trade. So lots of heat and fire. Carhartt makes quality products. Just one thing . They need to use 100% cotton thread.

Second, maybe third pair for my husband. They wear long and hard, and thankfully, the “style” and quality hasn't changed. I did order a short length this time, which he did not like so am exchanging them for his original length, a bit long, because he feels they protect his shoes. <br />I purchase 44/32, and he normally wears a 38/30.

I've used these since I was a kid and they're still great. I mixed it up with the blue which look good, They are still a little restrictive around the waist when walking but I think that's from my underlayers bunching up.

(It is stuck closed, absolute nightmare in bibs)<br /> Anyway, I think these bibs should have a double zipper on the sides for venting, should not have to zip up from the bottom to get some air in. <br /> <br /> p.s. I am about out of patience with this company....

Although I only just received and haven’t worn for anything except to try on, my first impression is that they are great. The only thing I had any concern about was the stiffness of the fabric. Washing seems to have helped some, but they are still pretty stiff. I hope they will get softer with use and more washings.

My go to bibs for when it gets cold out. I work in them I hunt in them.

The product is great but the sizing guide on the web site is misleading. according to the sizes I should order a 30" inseam and 32" waist but when the Bibs arrived they had a tag attached stating that you should order one size up for normal fit and two sizes up for layered wearing, they were so tight I could not button the side panels. And I had to pay the freight to ship them back. Disappointed.

Excellent bibs. The side zipper and snaps make getting in easy. Very warm as well, I’m good with just jeans under them. Careful when ya wash, my first pair shrank so I had to ditch them and reorder a size bigger all around, much better now :) stitching has lasted as well, standard Carhartt durability.

Although they do the job and keep my husband and I warm, I don’t understand why no one makes overalls for people that are short. I am 4’11-½” and even the short overalls have to be rolled up 5-6”<br /><br />I looked at kids sizes and even though it looks like the length would work, the weight that goes with that length is at least ? of what I would need. <br /><br />I do love the functionality and would recommend them as long as you are at least 5’5”

I bought these in navy for my husband as a Christmas gift. He is in love! Every time he puts them on, he thanks me. They run true to size. I did follow other reviewers suggestions to size up... not because they run small, but because I knew the plan was to wear these in winter to plow snow, and hubs would have other layers underneath. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

The sizing on this item is horrible. My son is 6'3 185. I bought a 32x34. With all four of the pocket buttons undone he get barely pull them on. If you are going to wear these with nothing underneath or just insulated underwear one or two sides bigger may work. If you're planning on wearing these as an outer layer probably go up three sizes.

I highly recommend these bibs. They're not overly bulky or hard to maneuver in, and they provide plenty of on-person storage. The only issue I have ever found with them is that, because the pockets are snap-buttons, small items, such as nails, change, etc. tend to fall out of the chest pockets if you bend too low. Beyond this, there are no issues. They're easy to clean, they store nicely under a bench seat, and consistently keep me warm on the job.

These are amazing! My husband is a diesel mechanic and is continuously outside in the winter months and in the drafty garages. He and all of his coworkers swear by this amazing product.

I ordered a 38 waist since he wears a 36 pants but could have gotten a 40. It fits but it's snug.

I am a carpenter and do a decent amount of work outside. Even in extreme cold these keep me warm and dry.

Unbelievably warm, comfortable, convenient, durable. These things are built to last a decade in hard work use. If not a lifetime for a guy like myself. I'm 6ft 200. The 40x32 fits me perfectly. Even with layers. The insulation goes to the waist. Zips to the knee. All I need. The knee zips are covered for protection. I got them in no problem, after a shipping issue where my first order never made it. But the customer service was polite and a blessing for what they did to help me with my lost order. I order all my Carhartt products right from the source.

I got this for my son and he only wore it three times and the fastener on the one side of the bib got bent already! We paid over $100 for this and I would expect better quality. He said that it is comfortable and it’s great that his back is covered and it keeps him warm, but he was disappointed with the fastener already being bent. Can we do anything about getting this replaced or repaired?

Warm and durable great work wear for cold days or nights

These bibs are great, they are waterproof and durable. Was able to wear them in the snow and kept warm. When I first got them I had ordered the size I normally wear, however they were a tad tight with clothing underneath so I called the nearest carhartt store and they let me come in and exchange them. Came in and no questions asked, they did not even ask for a receipt and let me swap them.

Have owned same pair for past 20 years and still in use. Very durable and warm when working outdoors in temperatures 20-60 degrees. Highly recommend

The hardest part about buying a set of bibs is getting the size right!<br />I'm 5' 10" 190 my normal size is 36x32 in pants.<br />I originally went with 40x32 in this bib but they were a little tight and a little long. In my opinion, they run a little small. I replaced with 42x30 and the fit was perfect. Had full movement and didn't feel restricted. I wear these everyday at work and they perform well in cold conditions. If you work in extreme cold conditions, choose the R03's. I own both.

These were purchased along with jackets for some of our maintenance guys that have to spend some of their work time outside during the winter months. They work great and look professional.

My husband loves the way they fit, he went and tried them on at Bass Pro, but needed a longer inseam. They recommend buying a larger waist size if you plan on wearing another layer underneath, we agree.

Warm, durable, and very functional. I was worried that it would be a little constraining, but you can move around freely without restrictions.

Fit perfect and are very comfortable

I use these mostly for crawling around under dirty, grimy cars in my freezing garage in winter, as well as outdoor work. I really like them, super durable and warm. But sitting down, if you have your phone in the hand pocket, it jams on your torso. But since these are the full side zips, the side pockets are too narrow small for a phone. But there is no good spot up top either. So you're kind of stuck.<br /><br />I also recommend 1 or 2 waist sizes up, even if you're a thin guy. When sitting, the narrowest part of the torso will be uncomfortably tight if you get your regular pants size. Inseam sizing was spot on.

I still have my first pair that are 20 years old.Besides being faded they are still in great shape I am sure the bibs I just purchased will last just as long.

I love my overalls, I researched and found all the features I wanted in these overalls. Insulated, thigh zippers, bibs, lots of pockets. <br /><br />One thing I am disappointed in is the size. I used the size guide and ended up with bibs that are too long for me and a little too snug. I intended to wear these over my work jeans. I am able to wear them only over my longjohns. Right on the strap of my new bibs was a tag explaining what size to order, 1 size larger for normal use, 2 sizes larger if you intend to wear them over your pants. This really needs to be worked into the sizing guide or stated somewhere in the description so others won't make the same mistake I did. I have since hemmed my overalls with some difficulty due to the bottom snap and the end of the zipper.

Warm and tough this is what you need when nature decides to lower the mercury. In combination with a vest or jacket this is all you need to maintain a comfortable temperature and the range of motion is phenomenal. I never feel restricted when wearing these to climb, crawl , or jump

classic bib, from the styling to the functionality, these bibs are rugged and durable. It's a shame these aren't union made like their predecessors. The reinforced cordura heel is a great add on to the original design. not much more you can to do improve on this classic!

I was debating in ordering carharrt or not. A coworker persuaded me after bragging about their quality and durability. While I cannot speak on their durability yet I can speak on their quality. The seams at the hip where you would buttun up was already coming unstiched on both sides right out of the bag which makes me highly question carhartts durability. Super disappointed and have no time to return and do not want to pay return shipping for a product I spent more money on expecting quality.

Got these bad boys for when Carhartt pants and thermals ain’t cutting it. Only one word adequately describes them: BEASTLY. If I ever find myself in a situation where I have to rassle a bear, I hope I’m wearing these and a Carhartt coat. Word of advice, order two sizes bigger than your pants size if you plan to wear clothes underneath.

I love Carhartt and think they have great durable products and these bibs are no exception. The big issue I have is I ordered them online using the website's True Fit Size. I need to go up one or two sizes from their recommended "Great Fit" in order to be able to wear jeans underneath the bibs. What i received is no bigger than the pair I've been wearing for the last 15 years. Unfortunatly for me, my company put their logo on them so no returns allowed. Lesson learned, ORDER LARGER THAN THE WEBSITE THINKS!

Have a pair of these bibs going on 6 yeats now. Use the most mainly in big snow and running chainsaws on a ski resort in Colorado. Keep me warm in low temperatures. And they aren’t falling apart after all these years.

Warm but they give you the freedom to move. Used them while out running the snow blower in sub zero temperatures for 2 1/2 hours. Wind chills were below -30F. I stayed comfortable.<br /><br />The perfect amount of insulation for staying outside and active during the Polar Vortex, or more accurately what we call winter in the Northern Great Lakes region.

In my own opinion, these are incredible. I use them on a daily basis, and they hold up to everything I throw at them. Tough and built with pride, it’s hard to say ‘NO’ to anything from Carhartt.

This is the second set of my life, the first was over thirty years ago. I still wear them but they are a bit snug and threadbare in spots. The new set, fit is good now. I hope after washing it remains the same size. I use them professionally, I make my living in them. Worth every cent. I stay warm and cozy in them.

They’re fine but hate the bib fasteners. The old style with buttons were much better. Pay attention to size recommendations. I bought them big but they shrunk up after one washin and now are snug with clothing under them.

Great product. It took a bit to figure out the sizing. I’m a 33x33, and I fit a 36x32 in these. They are warm, durable, and comfortable!

I like the product however the sizing chart is incorrect and the return policy is not customer friendly. I ordered according to the sizing chart and the first bibs were way to small, no fault of mine. I followed the return process and it cost me $25 to return them!! I them ordered them again, this time three sized larger in the waist and they fit! I do not wear that waist size in any other pants/products I own.

I wore them using my snow blower to remove 6" of snow. I was warm and toasty even though I had gym shorts on underneath.

The fasteners are a bit thinner that my other pair I bought 20 years ago. These will more than likely outlast me.<br />Customer service I give a 5 star rating. They returned my first pair without a hitch.

I'm 6'5 about 220lbs. Wear 34x36 jeans. Ordered the recommended 36x36 bibs and they fit with little room left over in the belly area. Think tshirt or thermos. So I returned for a 38x36. Well see. Looked well made, awesome experince the Carhartt store.

Great bibs, I wear a 34 waist in carhartt pants. So I went up to a size 36 bibs so the would fit over them, the bibs fit great but, if wear thermals along with pants you may want to go two sizes up.

finally got my right fit! i’m a 32x30 carhartt pants and i got a size 34x34 Model R41 Black bib. the inseam is a bit long but i fold once and thats that and it looks great. it would fit perfect with an 34x32 but 34x34 was the only size they had in the store that would fit me so i grabbed it and i do think it feels more comfortable a little big. if you are usually an inseam 30 get 32 and if you don’t mind folding it just a bit get a 34. the 30 inseam is different than pants its way shorter when u knee down you can see half your boot. Also, the material is insanely good just by touching it you feel that it’ll last you many years to come! Thanks Carhartt!!

This is the second pair of these bibs that I've bought. The first pair I got over 7 years ago and other than the coloring has faded, there's nothing wrong with them. Carhartt 4 Life!

Fit is great. Had a really difficult time judging what size to get. Ended up adding 10 inches to waist size and that compensated for large stomach! haha

I very much like my Duck Bib Overals, I own two pairs. My only complaint would be, when I’m sitting or bending my knee, the zipper rubs on it (knee). A small flap to cover the zipper would be nice. I like how the pants portion are quilted lined but not the chest area so that it’s not bulky at all. Thank youNick

The recommend measurement where very wrong so now I am having to go throw the hassle of returning them and receive my money back and then reorder not to mention I have to pay for the return and insurance on my package to return it when I followed there recommendations on sizing. I bought a pair of these and had to send back because they were too small. I ordered another pair and they fit great!! I would recommend these as they are very comfortable and the fit is perfect!! I also bought another pair of uninsulated as well! Remember when sizing always get measurements of your belly not your waist lol . I wear a waist of 32 but had to get the 40 by 32. The fit was perfect!! Now I am working on losing the belly ... lol

I do not like the connections on the bib, I would prefer the button type. But other than that I am always pleased with all my Carhartt items. I had a jacket for probably in excess of 40yrs till my wife threw it away, without my permission, because I had “newer” ones. But I still miss it because of all the trials and tribulations that I had gone through with it.

My son in law started his new job as a lineman. Wore them the next day. Loves them easy to work in and warm.

Today, 1/5/2019, the overalls will be given to my granddaughter. She's been out of state. She knows what is in the package, since she opened it before Christmas. Then we had to go through sending them back and exchanging it for the correct size. This is exactly what she wanted for Christmas and she is excited to pick them up today. I know she will rave about them.

Would recommend all Carhartt products.

Just received these in through the mail and I really love them! I ordered my regular pants size with them and they came in really snug around the leg area! I’ve always been told to order overalls a size bigger to be able to have under layers but I didn’t considering carhart usually runs big anyway. Gonna have to send back to go up a size

My son received these for a gift. He works outside in the Michigan cold and he said that the overalls were the perfect outside cover to add warmth and wind blocking coverage. The fabric is durable and the construction of the bibs allows for easy removal.

Very disappointed in the fit of these bibs.

Pros: Fit - ok. Sturdy, warm. ....Cons: No full zipper in the torso, you have to unhook the shoulder straps every time you take on or off. Strap hooks are somewhat different from other brands and a pain to hook and unhook. The zipper for the fly isn't as long enough and you must have midget hands to unzip any jeans you may have underneath the bibs. Not convenient to use at all and you had better hope you don't need to go in a hurry. Not a lot of extra pockets.

These should be made in the Rigged flex material...there very stiff

Received as a gift-I work construction so needed something warm. I'm thin so the bibs work better than pants as they don't slip. These are warm and comfortable

I’ve worn carhartt bibs every winter for the last 25 years. The duck fabric and lining holds up well. The zippers ALWAYS fail. On both the jackets, but most especially the bibs. It is the Achilles heal of an otherwise great garment. You see a lot of guys walking around on the job site with blown out zippers all the time. I don’t know why they don’t update the old brass zippers. After literally having about 15 sets bibs and jackets retired early for this reason, I’m sadly looking for an alternative to my beloved Carhartts until they resolve this issue.

Small in hips. According to your true size chart he should wear 40 x 36 inseam. We got 44x36 inseam and still too small

So glad that I could purchase these warm bibs on line. I try to shop local, but the local farm stores did not have the size available. After comparing to other brands, I could tell that Carhartt bibs are made much better. They shipped very quickly and even had a paid return label if the size was incorrect. I order these online and I was told to order by pants size and they are super small.. there's no way that my husband that wears a 34 can fit into these 34 coveralls

My son loves his overalls. He's a welder, they keep him warm and protect his clothes. I have never been disappointed in Carhartt.

I have been buying your Carhartt bibs for over 20 years. They a wear well and they last. We are in the tree business in the northeast and it gets pretty cold. The insulated bibs last for a long time. I won't buy anything else. I recommend this product to anyone who works in the colder climates.

This item is great. I feel it runs a little big compared to what I usually fit but I would order the same size again. I noticed thread coming apart at a couple of seems, I will see how they hold up.

These are high quality bibs. I bought these for my brother who is 5’5” tall and 148 lbs. After returning my original purchase because they were to tight the new ones came in yesterday and they fit perfect!! He went up 2 sizes in the waist to accomodate heavier winter clothes underneath. He wears a 34/28 and the 38/28 fits perfectly to be comfortable.

I would recommend the overalls. But we needed one size larger in the waistline, then normal pants. Very warm! Great quality.

This is my second pair. My first are still in great shape at 10 yrs old. Only got this pair so I could leave one at work and one at home.

OUR COMPANY ORDERED 28 PAIR AND 14 OF THOSE HAS TO BE RETURNED BECAUSE THEY RUN VERY SMALL. WE ORDERED THESE EXACT BIBS 2 YEARS AGO YET THOSE SAME SIZES ARE NOT COMPARABLE TO WHAT YOU ARE SELLING TODAY.
