The FORCE® Heavyweight Synthetic-Wool Blend Base Layer Crewneck Top features:
Great feel/texture, wicks sweat pretty well. Usually I get XL tee’s from Carhartt, this feels a little tight, I’d get XL Tall next time.
Great. Perfect for the winter
You feel instantly warm and cozy when you put this on. My fiancé loves to layer it to give an extra layer of warmth without the bulk.
Since I got him one I had to go back and get myself one too!
Highly recommended!!!
Definitely not heavy duty! It’s just like a under armour moisture wicking. Wouldn’t buy again.
Good base layer.
My son had gotten me a Base Force "set" for Christmas; I like it so much I bought another set almost immediately.

Wish it had a pocket but it's not a show-stopper.
Great base layer. Cotton and Merino wool makes this warm and durable. Heavyweight refers to the warmth factor, not the bulk. If you want something just heavy, not warm, wear a blanket.
My husband loves these shirts. He has three and they are in heavy rotation.
Husband says the poly/wool thermal shirt does not hold orders! He wore one for 5 straight days and it didn’t smell stinky! But he did say it’s a bit itchy from the wool. Other than that, he loves it
I read the reviews on how THIN the heavyweight base layers were , but figured I would see for myself . They were right , I have long sleeve t-shirts that are heavier ! what an utter waste of money and they were over priced , thanks for the false advertising Carhart .
As much as I love all my carhartt gear over the years, I was very disappointed with this thermal. Expected it to be a thicker and warmer material especially for the price but sadly it was a equal as the fruit of the loom from Walmart definitely not made for extreme cold or even cold weather.
Perfect weight for layering soft fabric but keeps you warm without a bulky feel
If these are the 'heavy weight' I'd hate to see the light weight. A long sleeve cotton t shirt is just as warm and half the price. This is the first Carhartt product that I've been disappointed with.
Super warm and comfortable. I plan on buying 3 more sets. I highly recommend it!
Great fit the ladies like it
Fits well, looks great, performs great! My go to base layer for work and play!
More like a regular tee-shirt than anything "heavyweight."
Love these. Durrin sunny ddaze. On rainy thunderstorms ? ??!??????????????? push thruu. ?? stay woke?
Bought two more after trying the first one. Great at moisture wicking. Heavyweight might be a little of a misnomer though...I'd call it mid-weight.
Keeps me nice and toasty while I work outdoors!
I bought two of these for my boyfriend. After wearing a few times, washing, and always hanging to dry, the shirt had some shrinkage in the arms and torso. The fabric has also pilled quite a bit - disappointing for a Carhartt product.
Very expensive. Will not be purchasing anymore.
Kind of thin. Could be thicker.
There’s nothing heavyweight about it. It’s thin.
These are great quality shirts. These are comfortable and add an extra layer of warmth underneath the hoodies I also purchased.
I like these a lot more than other base layers - many of them ride up, but these don't. They're warm, comfortable, and definitely work for my vet calls.
Runs very small.
Great cold weather shirt!!
These are great! The tall size fits very well and help keep the chill off when I’m working in the cold
Looks decently built, but my definition of heavy weight and carhartts definition vary greatly. Pretty sure these are thinner then the fruit of the loom long-johns. And those are a quarter the price.
I work outside at our airport, mostly outside for hours at a time, sometimes in and out in and out. This piece surprised me. It’s warm, breathes and I don’t get sweaty going from cold to warm. I’m 5’7 165 43 chest 33 waist. I went large and got a perfect fit. I’m usually between medium and large in Carhartt so, I have to gamble on everything I buy. This is a winner for me.
I purchased both the top and bottoms, calling this garment "heavyweight" is a joke. This provides warmth of midweight at best. The old Force Heavyweight base layer was the real deal, this Force Heavyweight is imported junk. I sent mine back for a refund will be purchasing another brand.
I thought would be a little heavier, but it was fine.
What took so long to get it right !
Not as warm as Klim 2.0 but great for work wear
This is great base layer! As far as the appearance parameter goes, I suppose that is limited by the user. But the shirt itself is great.
Not heavyweight by any means. It is lightweight and not real warm but comfortable and looks good.
Very good Fit and warm
I’ve used it for skiing and also just lounging around the house. It’s extremely comfortable and quickly becoming one of my favorite shirts.
No where near as warm as the old heavyweights. This is just a base layer for under real thermals.
Warm, but not sure about the "heavy weight" rating.
comfortable and warm
I am 5’8 155 pounds ordered medium. Fit was good and top was comfortable. It is not as warm as my Carhartt super heavyweight thermal which has been discontinued . I just ordered the other new style . Hoping this might be a little warmer . I did like the top just wish it was little warmer . It was 20 degrees out I had the thermal and a Carhartt rain defender sweatshirt on shoveling snow
Great thermal. Very heavy very warm. Pleasantly surprised it did not shrink when I washed it.
Great feel/texture, wicks sweat pretty well. Usually I get XL tee’s from Carhartt, this feels a little tight, I’d get XL Tall next time.
