Husband loves these leggings!
Item shipped in a reasonable time. <br />Fit is a little snug but is to be expected with this type of pant. <br /><br />Pants came torn with a hole at the waistline where the tag was attached. <br />Canadian Buyers beware... I attempted to exchange the damaged item with a replacement and was told I would have to pay the $30USD to have a new pair shipped to me. $30USD is close to the whole price of the item to begin with. I unfortunately had to keep the pants and sew them back together myself. Not worth the money or time.
I work in a freezer and these are very good at keeping my legs warm.
Warmer than you would think based on how thin they are. Very comfortable.

My husband received a pair for Christmas. He works outdoors all year long and he's ALWAYS cold. And with the little storm we just had in NY he was outside shoveling for hours. Which is exactly what happens every year when the cold season comes around and he's tried so many different kinds of under clothes. Granted he wears his suit when he's out in those conditions but you still need to layer when you're in it for hours and this last time was the first time he came home and didn't stay cold for hours afterwards. I highly recommend. I was so impressed I ordered a women's set for myself as I'm also outside a lot for work, not anywhere near like him but enough that I do get very cold and have to layer to stay warm.
Super warm and comfortable! I bought one set and wear them it the time. I am purchasing 2 more sets. The only drawback is that they don’t make them in V-neck. But I highly recommend!
If these are the 'heavy weight' I'd hate to see the light weight. A long sleeve cotton t shirt is just as warm and half the price. This is the first Carhartt product that I've been disappointed with.
I am very disappointed in the quality of the bottoms and in my opinion way over priced. I bought the top and although not a wool blend, it is made very well and of high quality. I regret paying as much as I did for the bottom.
Great soft feel and based on short period of wear, feels protection as good as traditional cotton versions.
These are no where near heavy weight. I can see right through them. I have a pair from years ago that are heavy. I don't know what happened to Carhartt recently but these are garbage.

Product is very warm, and very light feeling when wearing it. But it's very uncomfortable in the couch area.

I cannot believe how much it kept me warm. I am impressed with the overall fit and functionality. Does not feel like your regular tight fitting thermals. Loose enough to breath, but tight enough to keep you warm.

It would be way better made with 80% wool and real thick for -25C to -40C!
I like the base force line of base layer thermals. The only reason I didn't give them a full 5 stars is because they do itch some. But they work.

Favorite base layer pants ever. Great fit, keep in heat, wick moisture away. Paired with the poly-wool top, it's a great way to beat the cold!!
Looks decently built, but my definition of heavy weight and carhartts definition vary greatly. Pretty sure these are thinner then the fruit of the loom long-johns. And those are a quarter the price.
I ordered the medium size bottoms, they are a perfect fit for my 5’6 165 lbs frame. They have kept me warm lately when the temperature dropped below 40 degrees, i was disappointed with the color, I ordered black, they look more like dark gray.
I bought these for my father because he’s always cold. We’ve had a hard time trying to find thermals that fit his long legs and arms and these worked out perfectly.
It was ok but I would recommend regular thermal
Bought then for my husband to replace his Under Armour 4.0s and these were too short for his 6.2 frame and didn’t keep nearly as warm. But they are soft and stretchy!
Unfortunately, it was quite thin and did not have the desired results.
There is pilling after one wash and doubt it will help during cold weather because it’s not really helping during mild weather. Disappointed in the set as I thought I was getting at least good quality when spending over $100 on the set.

My husband is a diesel mechanic and often gets called out to the roads to fix a broken machine and at times is called to work out in the field for the company he works for. On those really cold days the weather can be unbearable. He absolutely loves have a few sets of these thermals. I'm back again this season to buy a few more sets for Christmas for him among other items.

Sleeve and shirt is too short.
As soon as you put these on you can feel the warmth. They keep you cozy will being outside in the winter. They are also comfortable because they are easy to bend and move in so you don't feel restricted even with another layer under everything.
The waist is a bit low and the legs are a tad saggy, otherwise, they keep my legs warm.
Awesome for cold weather
These were the best thermals ever. Very warm yet breathable. Didnt work up a sweat in them.
Great feeling material, perfect rise, great fit. These don't loosen up and sag in the crotch like old school thermals did when they got wet/sweaty. They wick sweat away before you get the cold clammy feeling.
I recieved this base layer as a field test. By far the best base layer I've ever had. Its light with a great fit and did its job by keeping me warm while out working in the cold.

I received the poly-wool crew shirt as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test. I love the high quality stitching in all Carhartt clothing including this one, it held up really well and is the most durable base layer I've ever worn. The fabric is extremely warm and the fit is great, didnt feel as restrictive as other base layers I've had.
I love these base layer pants. They are snug so not to feel to baggy under clothing. I work in freezers on a daily basis and need something light and warm to perform the functions of my job. These have hit every mark and then some especially when I’m in a -10 freezer working and not have a chill at all wish they had these in socks though. I highly recommend these.
This is a great, comfortable base layer. They are warm and soft super cozy I have even slept in them. I got these as part of the carhartt crew test. I would recommend to any one.

I receive these as part of a field test from Carhartt the tops and the bottoms like I said with the shirt first impressions was too thin how can It keep you warm but I was dead wrong these things are awesome Out perform anything I own at this time
I received the thermals as part of a Carhartt Crew Field Test. They are much thinner than I anticipated but more than make up for it in functionality. They are very comfortable to wear and keep you warm in very cold windy temps as a base layer and are very breathable as I also wore them in an office setting in a temperature regulated building and did not overheat. I've owned several base layers in the past and these have been the most comfortable by far.

Keeps you extremely warm beyond my expectations
Very happy with this item. The XL Tall is a great fit (6’ 210lbs). I originally got the Large Tall but found it a little too snug. The tall size is a definite plus as it keeps you covered while you work in any position. The material is comfortable and dries relatively quick. Great for working out in the cold even in the rain. I will definitely pick up a second pair.

I wear these thermals under my pants everyday while working construction. They fit close to the body which is nice. I don't have to worry about bunching or ride up. Love these.
Great, but think about adding elastic cuffs and lengthening the inseam a few inches on the large tall bottoms. Men are taller today than they were fifty years ago.<br />Love your products and wear them daily!

Bought them for hunting tried them out over the weekend. The morning temps were about 4* between the base layer and my jacket I was comfortable.
My grandson loves the feel the fit the comfort of these thermals he also loves the thumb ring at the end of the shirt sleeve he said it's easy to keep it down while he's putting on other layers.

My husband loves these!! He practically lives in them. When working on the farm you find yourself running in and out of equipment during those cold months. Just a heads up they will shrink if put in dryer!
I always am happy with Carhartt products. However they are listed as HEAVYWEIGHT, not really I wore them for the first time yesterday in 9degree weather. Didn't really keep me warm for HEAVYWEIGHT thermals. Super comfortable though.
