It is a quality product and well made. However it is not an extreme cold weather product. I have another Carhartt “Force” base layer that I bought at a local outdoor store a couple of years ago that is 2-3 times thicker material and is much warmer and just a comfortable as this shirt. When I ordered this online I was hoping I was getting the same one I bought locally, it isn’t. Still a quality product just not as warm as I was hoping.

I was sent this to field test and was very satisfied and comfortable. The half-zip is one of the best features of this base shirt. It is almost like a temperature control. If your cold pull it up, if it gets a little warm pull it down. It makes a big difference. The shortlisted is very comfortable and breathes if you start to sweat. It actually looks great if worn alone. I would wear it with a shirt jac or a heavyweight hoodie. I was nice and toasty. The hidden thumb loop is great when layering. Please take note that this is a heavyweight layer. It is a great base layer if you don't like to wear too many.
This by far is the best thermal shirt I have worn yet and I work a lot in freezers and out in the field as a field service technician. It fits snuggly so as to it not being bulky. But has the stretch and movement to get the job done with out restricting any movements and even stretched to the max the materials don’t pull thin and allow air through them. I highly recommend this thermal for any one who has to work outside in the cold and elements
This is a super comfortable base layer that provides a great amount warmth without restricting movement.
Love it perfect for the weather
I find that it fits very small. Worried it won't fit anymore after a couple of washes.
Extremely light weight, especially for a “Heavy Weight” description. I have only worn them in teen temperatures and they were awesome, but am curious for how they’ll do in more extreme temps. I’m short, but sweat a lot and these kept me dry and wicked away the sweat well. I’ll update the post once I wear them in sub zero temps.
