The FORCE® Midweight Waffle Base Layer Pant features:
Great Price / Great Item, glad for the purchase.
Base Force® Midweight Classic Bottom -They are comfortable and "midweight" as described, however the design differs from the original (no band on the ankle area). It seems as though a recent college graduate may have re-designed these that is why I give a four star instead of a five. They seem to be durable thus far, the appearance is o.k., the quality seems to be of Carhartt and they seem to function as a long john should
They shrunk about 2 sizes they barely fit anymore wore them twice
Fits tight. I'm only 5foot 10 and 180 pounds, large size is short and tight.
It’s not only laughable but a little insulting that these are sized in a way that the smaller the waist the shorter the inseam and the bigger the waist the longer the inseam. I work outside (heavy equipment construction) in the winters and struggle finding good thermals. I have a 29” waist and a 36” inseam. My waist size BARELY makes it past my knees! WHY is it there’s an obscene about of mens variable sizes but we women only get one option of size from one of the leading outdoor clothes company???? Why can’t these be offered in a short, reg, tall like the pants? AND maybe offer XTall as another length option for pants and thermals?
I bought these for my husband. He had a pair of the heavyweight bottoms and likes those but wanted a lighter pair too. He has had no complaints.
Very flexible and durable
And comfortable
They ripped after the first time i wore them. pretty disappointed about that. i loved the fit but now i don’t like to wear them because they have a decent sized hole in the leg.
I got this for my husband as a birthday present. He loves it. It fits him perfectly and is extremely warm. I hope to get one for myself soon.
This was only worn once before a hole ripped in the inner thigh, no fitting issues just poor quality.
N/A……….terrible
Great product. My husband works construction and is out in the cold winter elements and wears them on a daily basis.
The seams are grey and stand out too much. Legs are about 4 inches short. I'm going to donate my pair.
I wood of liked them to be a heaver weight. Hard to tell when the original ones I bought none of the numbers on them would match up to the new ones
Strangely tight in the butt region, and loose around the ankles. My older pair of carhartt base layer bottoms are more snug (and warm!) around the ankles, and allow more mobility through the butt/thigh.
I didn’t expect them to be so comfy but they are just what I wanted
Great fit keeps me warm.
Warm and comfortable, runs small after a trip through the wash it shrinks
I bought a pair a year ago and it was great. This time I found out it didnt fit as well as the last one. I wont order through the mail any more because of sizing inconsistent.
Very warm for winters
it is thin
Every year for Christmas, I get my husband a pair of these. He really likes the comfort of them.
Very comfortableVery comfortable
Love them !!!!
Good fit don’t sag work construction wear from 15 to 50 degrees.
I have the top and bottom combo and love them! They're heavy and warm enough to wear under a t-shirt or under a sweatshirt but cool enough to not make me sweat. When the temps got above 45 degrees I did quickly get hot but that was an environment issue and not a problem with the thermals. The thumb loops were great when layering under another long sleeve shirt. One of the most irritating things to me when wearing a base layers is the arms right up when another shirt goes on and this setup prevented that from happening. The shirt was a little shorter than expected and came untucked when lifting above my head a lot but that is a very small issue. I will buying another set for hunting this fall.
A mix of classic styling and modern materials. The fabric feels smooth and comfortable against your skin. It breathes well. The fit is a bit shorter/tighter than typical Carharrt sizing, you may need to upgrade to a tall size.
After using cheap, no name base layers for the longest time i was given the opportunity to "field test" through Carhartt Crew these base layers and i gotta say after buying cheap base layers the proof is in the pudding these base layers are great and make working in these harsh conditions much more bearable.
This is a nice thermal to wear in earlier winter. It keeps you warm without overheating. It is comfortable to wear and still looks new after several washes.
I RECEIVED THIS SHIRT AS PART OF THE CARHARTT CREW TO FIELD TEST. SOMEHOW, CARHARTT WAS ABLE TO MAKE THESE THERMALS MUCH WARMER THAN TRADITIONAL THERMALS WITH HALF THE BULK. THEY ARE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CROTCH BEING A LITTLE TOO "SHALLOW" FOR MY LIKING, BUT THAT COULD JUST BE A MATTER OF OPINION AND PREFERENCE. FOR THE 2 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN FIELD TESTING THESE, THEY HAVE HELD UP EXTREMELY WELL THROUGH MULTIPLE WASHES IN ALL TEMPS AND TYPES OF WASHES. THESE WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY DRAWER!
Like an ideal pair of underwear. No complaints and they do keep you warm without causing a sweat that can make you even colder.
As a member of the Carhartt Crew I was asked to review these thermal pants .
They have worked great and kept their shape and look like new after 2 months of regular use here in the north.
Very comfortable and nice weight for mixed outdoor/indoor use without overheating.
Good mid weight pants. feel more like a sweat pant comfort wise. kept me warm in low 30s weather and did't over heat me when it warmed up. The cuff of the pant was too loose for me. I like a tighter fit around the ankle. Overall did its job for a medium weight Thermal pant.
I received these thermal pants as part of my participation in a Carhartt Crew Field Test. I wore the thermals approximately 15 times and washed them after each use. After all those washes the pants had no noticeable shrinking, which I thought was excellent for a thermal. The pants fit very well. I got the mid-weight pant which worked very well for warmth. It kept me warmer than just my washed duck pants but breathes well so it works great when doing manual labor.
Fits very nicely. Good material. And runs true to size.
Awesome product, keeps you warm but also wicks moisture away.
I bought these for my husband and he loves them!! He really likes how the bottom is not super tight around the ankles. We live in Wyoming and it's been very frigid lately. He said these are perfect under his work clothes... Keeps him warm, but not too warm.
Great fit, will buy another in the future.
I WORK IN THE MEDICAL FILED, IN A OFFICE AND THEY KEEP IT VERY COLD IN THE OFFICE. THESE KEEP ME COMFORTABLE NOT TO COLD AND TO HOT. LOVE THEM ... WILL ORDER MORE SOON...
These will keep you warm. Wear them while riding my motorcycle. Highly recommend!! And...they have a fly!
Good product; speedy delivery
I recently purchased 2 pairs of the mid-weight Force bottoms, just like the ones I bought 4-5 years ago, they even have the same product number... I was floored how cheap they have gotten, you can read a newspaper through them, I still had a pair left from before to compare. I will not buy anything Carhartt again!
