The Carbo-Tec Work Boot features:
I had bought this pair about 5 months ago. I am a driller here in Arizona and being on my feet 12 plus hours a day in the middle of the desert or even down in a pit of a mine they still hold up. Very comfortable and definitely a lot of support on the ankles, I have had others ask me about them and I tell them to check out the website or go to Cal-Ranch .
I've had this boot for about one month. It's not a bad boot but it isn't a great boot either (which is something you need when wearing them 8 hours every weekday). Yes, they are lightweight, the composite toe helps here. They appear to be well-made and may last for awhile. The soles are not heavily lugged so they are fairly easy to clean.
Now for the bad. The insoles are way too thick and "cushy" enough that they really fatigue your feet when you walk a lot. Yes, I can see all the folks who think that cushy is best. The outsole at the heel and tongue are heavily padded. To me that's an indication of mediocre support, all the cushion from the padding hides fit deficiencies.
If the model was available in a B width, I might be more satisfied.
I bought these boots because I've always wanted a pair of Georgia's and they look super comfortable and we're comfortable and trying them on they definitely were I've been only were. Even to this day they are very comfortable. They were never waterproof from day one. I had initially thought i had accidentally bought a pair of non waterproof boots, But then realized after looking at the ad again they were definitely supposed to be waterproof. Anything that got above the toe of the toe would come in and ruin your day. I live in rural area and cannot make it back to town very often very often so I was kinda stuck with them. Good I really like the comfort of the boots, but the waterproof thing really was a problem. I've been looking to buy another pair but I'm skeptical because of this. I would be skeptical if waterproofing was proving was a must like it was was for me.
Comfortable from day one. Sturdy. Laces don’t untie. No pressure points ,pain or blisters.
Definitely a good quality build the boot itself looks and feels great it has pressure points in it around the Heals more like pillows overall I'm satisfied there's a small pinch on the right foot by the Tongue I'm hoping that that breaks in if not I'll be contacting somebody other than that there are definite goodbye and recommend this was a blind by for me as I do not normally spend this much on boots
There super comfortable easy to put on and lace up . I just got and working in extreme heat outside and didn’t do any sweating get a medium thick sock and your good to go
