The Comfort Core Logger Work Boot features:
I just got this boot three days ago. I love them ,they are warm, comfortable and give lots os power leg ankle support
Great boot, easy to break in. Will always buy this boot.
I wear work boots almost every day. I wear them hard and I’m demanding environments. This boot is by far the best boot I’ve ever owned. Redwing, Carolina, Chippewa and others don’t even come close to the comfort and durability of this boot. The leather is tougher, the souls last longer and the removable/replaceable (I’ve never needed to replace them) comfort inserts are the most comfortable and durable. The lace to toe makes them easier to put on and take off. The hardware for the laces on this boot is many orders of magnitude better than any other boot I’ve worn. I’m in my late 60’s and speak from vast experience. Don’t think I’m easy on these boots. I outwork all the young folks on my crews. I own 3 pair of these and buy them for both of my sons as well. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine. The boots and my boys!
I bought these boots about a month ago and I am so happy that I did! I have purchased the Georgia Loggers before and was happy with them but when I tried these on in the store I fell in love with how they felt! I work in some pretty rugged terrain cutting trees and am very hard on boots. These boots have held up well and are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned! I have been up and down rocky terrain and have stood in 6 inches of water in a swamp for over 8 hours and these boots have never leaked or let me down. Being on my feet for over 10 hours each day is much easier now with these boots! If you ever decide to discontinue this boot, please let me know in advance so I can purchase several pairs!
I bought a pair of these about 4 years ago and have had to glue a couple seams together and had to apoxy the toes but they have held up pretty well considering all the work I have put them through and have been the most comfortable pair of boots I have owned
Best boots so far, came from a pair of Redwing loggers with steel toe. These boots together weigh as much as 1 with all the same protections. It’s been a week so far and they are breaking in just nicely. The foot bed is like a dream, so comfortable with the stock insoles. I have high arches and have always required additional support, these gave me the support out of the box.
The boots never shipped and Georgia wouldn't tell me the status of the order
I have the insulated version of these, and yes, they’re comfortable and probably reasonably durable, but waterproof they are not.
One quick walk in the snow and there’s water droplets galore under the cushion insert, which soon leads to a water-soaked insert and foot.
Pretty disappointing for a $200.00 boot.
First time i have bought Georgia boots and they are definitely the most comfortable boots i have ever worn.
Fit great and and didnt have a break in period. Only thing u dont need warm socks but my feet run hot. But love these boots
Fantastic fit and I appreciate how lite these are compared to my old RW's. Great support
Ripped first use! The metal that holds the shoe string broke the first day of use, I called customer service and they said I could send them back which I cannot do because I got rid of my old boots thinking I’d not need them so I am stuck with brand new boots with a hole in them.
There is a "hot spot" on the left boot right by the laces. I don't know if it is a chunk of rolled up leather or insulation, but it's uncomfortable. I hope that it goes away when the boots break in
Love Georgia boots! This is my 6th pair. In my boots from sun up to sun down. Never had an issue breaking them in until this last pair. Leather seems to be much tougher and stiffer. Going on 2 weeks with minimal break in.
Have had 4 or 5 pair of these boots over the last 15 years or so and have not one negative thing to say about this boot. Although I'm not an equipment mechanic any more I still wear the last pair and have just about worn them out too. Thanks Goergia Boots for the years of very reliable, comfort and warm boots!!! I'll be buying one more pair before I hang it up. Thanks again!!!
Very versatile boot! I wear the GB00097 at work in the oil industry and on the ranch considering what I do they have held up exceptionally well. If you have never worn a logger they are a heavier boot at first but well worth it. Great support. I cant well you how many times I have slipped into water or end up standing in it to get something done but my feet have stayed dry. The composite toe has held up to cows standing on them pipe landing on them etc I am glad they where there lol.
So things that have happened in the time I have owned 2 pair so far. I purchased a pair in 02/2018 After a year on the first pair only had issue I had was the shoe laces broke. sometime after a year and 6 months lace cleat on right inner broke. 1 1/2-2 years later separation of the tread in the ball of the foot area started. 2 years starting to let moisture in. Not that this is bad! I still wear my first pair! So Like I said considering what I do this boots been great! I was replacing boots at 6 months with other brands completely blown out. My second pair has been fallowing suit with the first broken laces in first year, tread seems to have warn down faster but could be walking surface."walking on more pavement". Neither pair took long to break in and was not painful to do so. unless you count my calves getting used to a heavier boot. I wear these on average 16 hrs a day 6-7 days a week and travel about 5-8 miles in that day according to the watch I wear. But long sorry short. I like this style and brand, I plan to continue buying from Georgia Boot because they have held up nicely for what I do!
These boots are just as attractive in R/T as they are in the picture. Very comfortable and very little break-in needed. I've paid big bucks for Red Wings, even had a couple pairs and they all hurt my feet; not these! I will never buy any other logger boot, these are the best. I hope to get the insulated version soon! It would be nice if they were also available in a 1000 gram Thinsulate as that would make an excellent cold climate hunting/work boot!
I have owned 3 pairs of these loggers over the last few years and love them! My first pair lasted me almost two years. My second pair had a blowout two months in that WAS replaced by the company without any issues at all. I’m wearing a pair still that is over two years old and still feel and look great! I’m a big guy 6’1 at 260lbs, I’m on my feet most of the day in broken uneven ground with sharp rocks. I’m a miner in the blasting field. These are the most comfortable boots hands down and I have tried them all!
I’ve had these boots for around a month now. They are comfortable, definitely waterproof and appear to be very tough. Granted they are only a month old so time will tell how tough. They are a bit heavy but that is what you get if you want your feet protected. They run a little big maybe half a shoe size.
I've had the boots two weeks. They are very comfortable and relieve stress in my feet.
I bought these boots about a year ago, I am very pleased with them.
2 years running, still comfortable!! Plenty of traction, super warm on frigid days, amazingly not sweaty in summer, I will be purchasing another pair when that time comes
I bought these a month ago for the 3rd time and my hubby will only wear the and his occupation is a Logger!
These boots were bought for my new job with the Corp. of Engineers. They were comfortable the first minute I put them on. They kept my feet warm even when the temperature dropped below freezing. I would highly recommend these boot for anyone that requires comfort and protection. All around great boot.
I bough these boots very conforming to your foot I would recommend to anyone that wears lace ups
I bought these boots about a month ago and are very comfortable but I have already put a hole in the toe I love the boots but the leather seems soft would recommend putting some kind of boot cap on the toes of them other than that I think they are great boots
So I bought these boots and I love them but I'm a little disappointed because I order composite toe and there not so I can no longer wear them to work and cant return them because I was wearing them
I buy boots every year. For me my dad and two boys. Always redwings until now they discountinued the loggers I normally get so the girl had me buy Georgia's logger. They were garbage hurt my feet didn't last. Now these boots. They look great and I haven't been able to wear very much. Returned once because they were to big. And they are still to big. I wear size 10 in a redwing. These are 8.5 and now it's past the return policy time aloud. I've been in and out of hospital for over a month and now got 5 weeks left being here before I could even begin to try to do anything with these boots. So I hope everyone else tries these boots out and don't get stock with boots that cost over $200 that u can't wear. I would say getting the right size would make a big difference and will say they look and seem to be the best logger on market at this time. Just Leary of buying a second pair. Leaning towards a pair of danners as my next boot. All the others look to cheaply made.
I just received a pair of these and the lower half of the tongue is a much darker suede than the website picture shows To me it looks ugly so I am returning the pair.
I bought these a couple months ago, they are my second pair, of comfort core boots, very pleased with them. I am on my feet alot on pavement and have no discomfort from the tall heel.
Going on three years on my first pair and definitely going to buy another pair. Comfort, waterproof, and durable. My kinda boot.
Loved the boot for 3 months until the heel in the insole wore out the outer layer and the foam underneath. This made the boot painful to wear and useless. An expensive boot for 3 months use.
I've had this boot for just under a year. I love the comfort core sole that is inside. I am a bigger dude, so the more padding the more I can stay on my feet all day without them killing me at the end. They also broke in faster than expected for such a high boo. I enjoyed not having any blisters.I wear these in a warehouse and out in the field on mostly hard pack. But the higher heel doesn't bother me. I do love the extra grip in the mud and snow. They do tend to get a bit hot for me above 60 degrees. But that is most likely due to the waterproofing and that I always have hot feet.
Bought this in August 2017, I am now replacing the "Contortion Core Insole" It has fallen apart and will now cost $23.00 for a replacement after spending $230.00 for the Boots. A 10% insole, for what?
Purchased these boots because I like the heel/sole/insert, and overall look.WOW, wasn't disappointed at all great fitment and very comfortable to wear. Reviews hinted to buy slightly smaller than regular size -however, I went with my old faithful 10.5 M and GREAT Fit. Very pleased with my GB00097 Georgia Loggers....!
My job is clearing trees from the power lines. For years, I, along with my coworkers, have sworn by nothing but Red Wing boots for climbing and working in adverse conditions. However, on a whim, I decided to try your logger inboots with the Comfort Core. Wow! What a difference it has made. These are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever put on my feet. Even after 6 months, show little wear, other than the insoles coming apart. They have been in trees, mud, knee deep water and snow. I usually go through 2 pairs of red Wings a year, but these Georgias show no sign of letting up, except the insoles. Thank you! When they finally need replacing, I'm coming back to Georgia.....as well as recommending them to everyone.
Good sole and vibram loggers are lifelong period. .
Have had two pairs of these. Rubber patch on heels ripped out on both. Warranty was prorated from a year, even with a known issue on this boot. Returned and switched brands.
I have purchased one of these each year for last 5 or 6 years. This new model hurts my feet. Especially on the knuckle bone of foot. Great boot other than pain of breaking it in I guess.
I have purchased four pairs of Georgia boot 9380 over the last several years, with the first three pairs being very reliable, long lasting and durable and waterproof. The greatest, most comfortable boots I've ever owned. The last pair was never waterproof from day one, feet got wet even from dew. The bottom sole was hard plastic and no longer leather. this made me purchase these boots which I wanted to try with no insulation. So far I really like them and with two pairs of socks even in single digit temperatures and snow my feet have stayed warm and dry. I use these for mostly outdoors and working in the woods. I have purchased a pair of Georgia basic steel toe boots yearly over the last 24-25 years for my day to day job which get about a year out of each pair. I believe they make the best boots out there and have convinced several people at work to purchase them. a tough environment.
I HAVE TRIED AND WORN EVERY BOOT YOU CAN IMAGINE, EVEN WITH METATARSALS BECAUSE I AM A WELDER. I WORK IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THESE BOOTS SO FAR HAVE BEEN AMAZING. FIRST BOOT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED THAT WERE EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE RIGHT OFF THE SHELF. THERE WAS NO "BREAK IN" PERIOD WHAT SO EVER! I DON'T USUALLY WRITE A REVIEW BUT I HAD TO AFTER I READ SOME NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON HERE. THESE BOOTS ARE WARRANTIED, SO IF YOU DO NOTICE SOMETHING SOON AS YOU TAKE THEM HOME...TAKE THEM BACK AND GET THEM REPLACED!!! DON'T WAIT LIKE I NOTICED SOME OF THESE PEOPLE DID. I THINK THEY RAN A BIT LARGE BECAUSE I NORMALLY WEAR A 10 MENS AND THIS TIME I HAD TO GET A 9, BUT THESE BOOTS ALSO...WHICH IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE, HAVE THIS AMAZING SOFT CUSION ON THE TOP OF YOUR FOOT!! LOL I COULD GO ON FOREVER HERE, BUT LAST THING IS...I HAVE ALSO NEVER OWNED A PAIR OF LOGGERS, UNTIL NOW. THE COMFORT IS AMAZING AND THE SUPPORT YOU WILL NOTICE IN YOUR LEGS IS SUCH A RELIEF! AND WHEN YOU GO TO SQUAT DOWN...GUESS WHAT?? THE BOOT DOES NOT JAM INTO YOUR TOES OR CREASE ONTOP OF YOUR FOOT!! HAHA IT'S MAGICAL! SO GIVE THESE BAD BOYS A SHOT!! THANK YOU GEORGIA BOOT! - AMELIA FROM GREENSBURG PA!!!
I bought a pair of these for my son for hunting this year. First trip out, walking through the tall grass and they were so wet inside we could acually wring water out of his socks. As far as comfortability they are great and I had plans of buying a pair after he tried his out the first day, but now im not so sure.
Bought these boots about a month ago and the stitching on the heel where the rubber meets the leather separated! The counter lock is a horrible design! Very disappointed! As far as comfort goes they are great.
I had the previous model and boy were they comfortable, right out of the box. I managed to get Two years of full time tree climbing out of them. They fit my feet like a glove, breathed, kept water out, looked good and felt great on spikes, Oh I almost forgot to mention that they don't weigh like a ton of bricks. I miss the Kevlar material on the tongue of the boot, so you need to bring that feature back and add some leather on the side of the boot that contacts tree bark when climbing with spikes. If you did, you would have a loyal customer for sure.
Boots are some of the most comfortable I've ever had. But laces were frayed when I took them out the box. And broke with in first week of wearing.
I bought this boot and within two days they was already falling apart. They are junk!!!!
The previous version of these boots were so much better. A lot of the good features were taken out. My husband climbs trees everyday and hasn't found a better pair. We think Georgia boot should bring them back for the people that can afford them.
I bought a pair of these boots and with less then a month of using them the back rubber piece by your heal seperated at the stitching came apart and its the the tread. I returned them and got a new pair and they did the same thing.
I buy a pair every year, they handle 120 degree temps down to -5 with out any problems. They do everything promised . The have held up to mud, snow, full emersion in water ,asphalt name it there dependable and comfortable.
My husband had the G031 model (previous model #) and absolutely loved them! He particularly loved the flexible "tongue" area, which led to virtually "no breaking-in" of the boot. We recently purchased this model and it has taken several weeks to "break-in". Needless to say, we are severely disappointed in the disappearance of this feature.
I bought these boots 2 and a half years ago. I work for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Bridge crew all summer, snow removal, traffic control and road repair during the cold winter months. These boots are on hard concrete, blacktop, in streams, mud and woods. They get a constant 12 hours a day rock salt bath all winter long. They have held up really good and are still as comfortable as the day I bought them! They don't leak a drop and my feet don't sweat in them. The best boots I've ever owned.
Bought a year and half ago and has been my favorite boot that I've ever bought and would by another pair. Only complaint is that the outer sole had cracked and split bad. But that's from daily use.
I have other boots but I wear these the most. I do landscaping and heavy equipment operation. I love this type of boot comfortable reliable and my feet don't hurt at the end of a 12hr day
I just got this boot three days ago. I love them ,they are warm, comfortable and give lots os power leg ankle support
