Got a 42×34. Inseam usually a 36 but 34 was a little long but not a deal breaker. Would recommend getting a size or 2 shorter on the inseam. But overall fits nicely and good material and good look on it. Would definitely recommend!

Love these pants. Found them by accident while looking for new FR pants for work. These pants are cut to where you get more space in the legs and butt so you get more breathing room where you want it. As a former athlete and someone who works out 4-5 times a week finding jeans that fit comfortably has gotten increasingly harder since everything is straight cut or skinny cut. Depending on brand I usually have to buy pants 2-3 sizes over normal size to get some breathing room in the leg, crotch, and butt area. These pants give me that space I need without having to buy bigger sizes. Hopefully carhart will keep selling these.
Did not like the fit in the legs. Pant leg to wide, felt like i had a dress on each leg. Sent pants back.

I’m 6’1 so I order 36x34, well when I received them and tried them on with boots, they were still 4” too long. Super inconvenient!!! Your size chart and size manufacturing are terrible
Good quality pants, fit right, and are comfortable. Only complaint is the legs are super baggy and I’m just not a fan of that feel and style.

For the money I don't feel they are worth it since they are no longer made in the USA. If I can find the same pant style made in the USA I would have bought them. I no longer buy Carhartt Produts since they have moved all their stuff out of the country in their words to remain competitive. I have found several replacements for my workware made in the USA at the same and most the time at reduce costs. Sad
The waist is a little snug, but next size up will be huge in the legs.
The sizes are extremely different from a normal Pair of jeans. I wear 34-34 and the FR pants I ordered were so far off I would need a 36-30 <br />Thats how different they were , waist was smaller and length was longer.
Tight waist size, will stretch a little bit.. maybe half inch. Buy a size or two bigger for waist. Pants are light and comfortable. Good for climbing.
Sizing is off. Waist is tighter than most pants and length is way too long. Normally wear a 36x34 . Ordered 38x34 but more realistically 40x32 would’ve probably been better.
Light weight, good in summer heat, mobile.
These are not cut to fit rather they are one length and need hemmed I was rather disappointed

These are very nice pants. However, they run 2 sizes too small. In all my other pants, I can wear a size 36 waist. I had to send mine back and order 40. Prepare accordingly!
Very well made. Sizing is significantly off in regards to waist size. I typically where a 33 and had to return for a 35 which was still a bit snug.
They’re good pants, but the sizing is way off I have several other cargo pants all are 34/36 and fit perfect these carhartt 34/36 are way way to small around the waist. Feels more like 32if not a 30 for the waist band, but the length is and everything else fits great. How ever I would make the pockets with two snaps so stuff doesn’t fall out so easy
Bought the 34x32 in store because it was a good fit. Bought 34x32 online and was two inches too long. If correctly sized, I’d recommend this product. Won’t buy online again.

I like the material but the sizing is just not that great at all i have tried 3 different pants and spent money on shipping because i thought were gonna fit but. I usually wear 34x34 some how im 35 waist and length im still yet to find out tried 32 way to long tried 30 to short.
My husband has owned these pants for a few years now. When the pants got worn-out I would then just reorder them. The last two times I ordered them, we noticed that the pants where too long. I thought if I washed them they would shrink, needless to say they shrunk a bit, but not down to them Inseam that's stated on the tag. On this last order I got my measuring tape out and sure in enough, the 30×30 pants measure 30×32. My husband can't work in pants that the leg cuffs drag on the ground. Carhart you need to get the in seams fixed and true to size.
I like them a lot but I do feel like the legs are much too baggy. The waist size I got was good but I should have gone down a size for length. It seems like FR isn't sized like other non FR pants. I have normal jeans in this size that are much slimmer and shorter. <br /><br />Bottom line: once you get your size figured out they are really great pants.

They are way to long, I ordered 32 length, they came more like 36 length. I’m 6’1” and had to roll 32’s up 5” on one pair and 2” on another pair. Your quality control is terrible! I will be switching to wrangler and ariat
Carhart needs more variety of colors
What a joke. The sizing and dimensions of these FR pants are so far off, it leads me to believe that they were actually designed this way or that their manufacturing standards and quality process is utterly pathetic . First, I wear size 30” waist in every brand of jeans, work pants and uniforms, but thes were at least two inches too small. Secondly, the leg volume is so baggy that I can nearly fit both my legs into one of the pant legs. News flash for your design team! You need to actually scale down your leg volume dimentions with your waist size’s. Using the same leg and seat dimentions from your 44” waist all the way down to a 30” waist is what you do when making “clown” clothing, not for good fitting work wear. Some men in this world are actually fit and not sporting a beer gut and plumbers crack. Unfortunately these are the pants my employer provides so I am going to have to pay out of pocket for something better from a better brand.
I am very disappointed with these pants. I had a very rushed trip to Poland and Sweden these few months so I had no time to return them.The problems:1. The waist size was Avery snug 42, after two washings I believe the pants are almost 1.5 inches tighter, and almost unwearable. The pants were almost 2-inches too long and had to be tailored..2. The rest of the fit is abigbaggy but the waist is too small.I would like to Try another set of these pants, because I belive these were miss-marked.
The size 34 which I tried on locally were too large so I ordered size 33 on line. They were too small and the waist band was abrasive as sand paper. Your policy of having customers pay shipping both ways cost me $15 buck to try on a pair of jeans that should have fit but didn’t due to some inconsistency in sizing. I will certainly never order online from Carhartt again and probably not locally either.

I really like these jeans, comfortable and fit well. They are a little pricey, would purchase more if the price was lower.
Material holds up well no problems with zipper or pockets. Length is to size. I would order two sizes bigger for waist. Pants do not shrink after many times in the dryer.
Positives:<br />1) Reasonable delivery time.<br />2) Loose Original Fit with three stitches- is good for our work requirements.<br />3) Nice black colored canvas cargo pants with side cargo pockets.<br />Negative:<br />Delivered price is above my personal budget. Can't afford using personal money. Purchased this via our company budget.

Run larger and legs longer than expected or actual inseam.

I love the pants, but hate the fact that they are too long. I ordered 38x30 and the length was 34 1/2 in long. Carhartt needs to have shorter lengths for guys under 6”0 feet tall.
32 inseam is longer than it should be. Seems almost that it’s a 34 inseam. Other than that great fit other wise. Will order a 30 inseam next go around.
Too long. Size 32 length was really a 34. Placed it side by side with other size 32 length Carhartt pants and it was 2 inches longer than ALL of them. I’ve been a size 32 length for 22 years.

The waist and butt fit well. The cargo pockets are big enough for a plus size phone. The fit in the legs are a bit baggy for me (seems all of my carhartt FR pants fit big in the legs). As for the FR properties, I hope I never have to find out.
I really like these FR pants, main issue is length. My inseam is 32 and I always order a 32in inseam. I have found that these pants (and it seems to be inherent with many styles) the inseam is always too long. I expect a little shrinkage but not sure these will shrink like jeans. Should they not shrink enough I will need to have the inseam changed to allow these pants not to drag the ground or get caught under my heels.<br />As a suggestion it would be good if Carhart were to either note that there is no shrinkage or that the pants would shrink.<br />Also would prefer All American Products. Not products made in foreign countries. We have the technology to do our own manufacturing to a higher standard and that means better quality.
Pants are nice but expensive compared to regular blue jeans.

I was very happy with the product it fit well and was very comfortable. <br />My only issue was the purchase of the items. I purchased on line but did not receive any electrical verification that the order had been received until when I was notified 3 days later that they had shipped. this delay almost caused me to purchase from another vendor as I needed to ensure I had the clothing prior to my trip.

Fine quality, but they run about 3 inches smaller than other pants. If you normally wear a 34 then order a 38.

Already has fraying fabric. It was worn once. I normally love carhart. I work in the oil refining business and I have to where flame retardant clothing. I decided to spend the money for the better quality. And now I'm regretting it. Could have got more clothing for cheaper.
Nothing wrong with ththe pants then selves, just not my style. Too baggy! I've sent them back and will be replacing them with 2 pair of cargo pants from carhart! That I love! Thanks again.
I really like the pants. The only complaint is that the Velcro on the side pockets wears out in a matter of days. I would prefer a better closing method ie large buttons or nothing but a flap

These are true to fit, comfortable. Not reluctant to wear out and about if need to.
These cargo pants are great fitting but they are not true to size. I wear a 36"/34" Levi jeans and these jeans I have to wear a 42"/34" and still a little snug . These are great pair of jeans none the less the only other problem is the Velcro doesn't last long mine gave out after only two wears I would recommend snap closures or or some type of closures used. The durability would improve even further.
Not true to size. All my pants are the same size, except these pant hurt at the waist. My co-workers say the same thing. Now i'm stuck with them because i trusted the size and pulled the tags. Order these one, maybe two, sizes bigger at the waist and they will fit how you expect. Otherwise, decent quality
I am using these pants in Saudi Arabia. They are comfortable in both the winter months (10C) and summer months (50C). They wash well and are quite durable. The velcro pocket closures have worn out after 20 wearings or so. I had to take them to a tailor and have button closures sewn in. Other than that, I am very happy with the product.

Without a doubt, my favorite pair of FR pants. As with all FR pants, you should probly get them a size bigger than normal, but they're extremely comfortable and durable. I just wish they had more colors!
