The Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe Work Boot features:
I wore these landscaping for over a year. Heavy duty to the max. Very comfy and protective too.
Perfect for work, strong and good quality.
Best work boot ever. Love these! 12 plus hours walking on concrete and standing daily. It's like I'm on pillows all day. Best money I've ever spent on my feet. I just wish they made them lower so they didn't come above my ankles so high.
It's a bit early on to give a review for these boots, but I'll share what I know so far. They are very comfortable in some ways, and extremely uncomfortable in others. There is wonderful support and cushion in the sole. The toe is generous (but almost resembles clown shoes toes). They are true to size - I did not find them to run narrow contrary to other reviews. The place where the tongue of the shoe separates from the body of the show is *extremely painful* to the top/sides of my feet. It seems like there is too much extra material to give flexibility to the tongue, and it folds over into a very, rock hard knot of material. I do not like it. Also, the ankle opening for these boots is massive. I can't even get it close to closing around my ankles. So if you're cleaning out a horse stall with lots of shavings, you will fill your boots with them.

Unfortunately, the only way to really feel shoes is to wear them. So my boots are no longer in new condition, otherwise I would definitely return them. Buyer beware. *I did not rate durability because I have no idea how these boots will wear. I've only had them for about a week.
I bought this boots for a daughter for welding class in school and she had them a year. Wearing them for 3 hours 2 to 3 times a week. The glue around the toes and hill of the foot are separated. I brought a several pair of boots for me and that's why I got thwm for her. After the last pair I had the Is quality has go down.
Awesome fit and comfort from the first time I put them on. I usually wear size 9.0 and the 8.5 were perfect. I would definitely recommend this boot.
Extremely comfortable. First day wore them all day with no need for break-in. Very happy!
I love these work boots. On my feet on hard pavement 10 plus hours a day. Was having lower back pain and heel pain from shoes. I don't when I wear these. They do run a little small. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, but had to go with a 9. Had them for over a year, and only had to replace laces. They are tough, and water resistant.
Highly recommend this product for smaller feet. I small legs feel supported in these boots.
Bought for work, on my feet for 8 hours a day. These shoes never hurt my feet, they were comfortable from day one.
Comfy and not heavy!
?? I've been wearing Timberland work boots for the last 13 years, and just switched over to these Carhartt boots. They're a little bit heavier than tims, but they are way more comfortable and durable.
Great boots! Very comfortable and well made. Zero complaints. They are perfect.
inside of sole wore out under the ball of my foot within 3 weeks
Very comfortable toe box and Great height near the ankle
Durability is yet to be tested but I'm sure will be just fine
I am thoroughly pleased with these work boots. They fit great. They hold up in the variety of jobs I do. My feet are never sore from wearing these boots all day.
Great boots! They are so comfortable.
I bought a pair of these and really loved them. And then, within a year, the leather wore out. I tried to get in touch about the warranty but never got a response. But loved them enough to buy another pair.

If they didn’t wear out so quick, they’d jump to five stars.

Would be greater if waterproof.
Few too many near accidents and broke down to buy steel toe boots. Had ordered a pair form another manufacturer but they were so heavy, rigid, and well...ugly...that I sent them back. These arrived and were light for steel toe boots and felt like I had already broken them in. Highly recommend. I'm using them for recreational work so don't know what they would be on the job site - but for the price point I would recommend trying them.
While it is still early in the life of the boot these are the most comfortable work boots I have found. No break in required! They have been comfy and secure right out of the box!
Excellent boots for multi purpose use, very comfortable and sturdy.
I walk approximately 4 to 5 miles per day through pasture and woods with these boots.
Good working shoes.
Had a fractured toe-I dropped firewood on it. Purchased the workboots for the squared-toe box I normally need, also "Wide" and 1/2 size larger than true size so I can wear thick wool socks for cushion, warmth, and comfort. Boots fit perfectly! Carhartt offered the widest toe box of any women's work boot! Some other companies did not offer half sizes. I like the styling, which resembles a hiking boot, and could double as such. Wanted toe protection without weight of steel-toe. Boots are great in snow/ice, non slip and e deep traction-tread. Due perhaps to thick socks, had NO problem with rubbing or discomfort. They provide firm sole support to allow for walking without much flexing of broken toe. They are comfortable for wearing/standing long term. I like tightness above ankles, which can be adjusted with the laces. I think the ability to super-tighten will come as they break-in. Boots are my first Carhartt purchase and I am extremely satisfied. Cannot truly rate "Durability" yet- have only had them a month. Leather seems nicely waterproof and soles are rugged! Compared to other brands (I did extensive searching!), Carhartt offered a fair and competitive price, an excellent match for my needs, and a well-made product. My only suggestion: perhaps you could strive for "Made in USA!"
These boots are a bit slippery on cement but they do it’s job. Did run just a tad bit big but I wear boots with thick socks anyways so it’s not too bad. Overall I like these boots a lot.
No pic....I've been wearing them daily doing heavy, wet and muddy work. But I love them. Thank you.
I work 60 hours a week as a store manager in a mechanics shop so I’m on my feet most of the day, with that being said the insoles in the left boot are already lifting and tearing. I have been wearing the boots for only 2 weeks now. Unfortunately I wanted to give a better review but they are not made to last.
Very happy with these boots! So comfortable!!
Products that were ordered from Carhartt are wonderful and Dawn made it very simply. Dawn is knowledgeable and a great employee.
They are good quality and look fantastic. A little rubbing in the back were the two fabrics meet, but otherwise very comfortable.
I read most of the reviews and many said there was no breaking in needed. When I first wore them I hated them. I was really planning on sending them back about 3 days later I decided to try them out again and it wasn’t so bad not as bad as the first day. Last night I noticed a blister on the back of my heel which never happens but idk how long it’s been there because it’s almost gone so i haven’t been too bothered by it ?? these boots are great. They added about an inch in height for me as well. I’m glad I decided to try them out again. I’m not disappointed at all.
Usually I get these from my job. They didn't have my size, so I ordered from your site. I wasn't disappointed at all
I like everything about the boot except it rubs blisters on my ankles and it's too painful to wear.
These boots are very uncomfortable. The tongue rubs right on the bone on my ankle. I tried to use thick socks and give the boots time to break in, but I ultimately switched back to my old boots.
I bought these the day before my new job started, and I never even had to break them in. They fit perfectly from day 1 and gave me no blisters! Absolutely recommend. Fit true to size as well.
So happy I go these! All my cow workers are jealous of mine, they all have Walmart shit stompers so it shows the quality difference for sure!
Very comfortable fit!
Love this work boot. It's sturdy, flexible and comfortable. My feet still feel great after a long day on the job.
I have a good pair of workboots already, but they are getting scuffed up and sometimes get wet from changing irrigation lines or what have you. Wanted another pair and hadn't found any that were duranle, fit good and were comfortable throughout the day. I decided to spend the dollars for Carhartt brand because your feet are worth the extra money. I am so glad I did. Loved them right out of the box. Still love them. A couple of the best features are the type of shoestrings and the eyelets. My other pair it seems like I am always having to re-tie and I hate double knots. The way the Carhartt brand is made the shoes are easy to tie up and the laces stay tied. Highly recommend.
These are so comfortable and it feels like a steel toe boot but it isn’t
These boots are awesome! I do a lot of walking at my job and they are comfortable, sturdy, and I don’t have any blisters. Great boots.
These boots are amazing but unfortunately they do not come in a wide width so I won't be able to wear them much because they squeeze my feet.
They are very comfortable and easy to break in. I’ve been using them a few weeks and they have been completely waterproof thus far.
I had these boots almost 2 years and they were awesome. I am a production coordinator in food manufacturing working 12 hour days, the nature of my job requires constant walking throughout the whole plant, which is all concrete, most of my shift checking each phase of production. After finding insoles for my high arch, these boots were very comfortable and feet never felt extra fatigued at the end of the night. My only problem was they are not waterproof/water resistant and we do full wash down sanitation every weekend causing my boots to get completely soaked at times. I bought water proofing spray, but if it wasn’t applied religiously it wasn’t effective. I think if these boots were water resistant or reacted better to the water repellent spray, they would have lasted a lot longer. I finally had to toss them when the soles and boot began to separate.
I am on my feet 8 hours a day, and these boots have been absolutely amazing! There was no "breaking in" period... Have fit amazingly since day one! Will definitely be purchasing another pair! Would highly recommend!
Love these boots. I'm climbing in and out of trucks all day and rely on the traction, stability, durability, and comfort. Even cured my plantar fasciitis. I'd buy 3 more pairs just to have them on the shelf when I'm ready to retire the pair I'm rocking now.
I've had Red Wings for years and while they are a quality boot, they are outrageously expensive. I bought these boots in December and I work on a new construction project that, based on size requires miles of walking per day. From day one these boots have been comfortable. I bought them from the Detroit store on Cass Avenue and have been very happy with my purchase. You really can't beat the price.
I work industrial construction, it’s always been hard to find comfortable boots. These boots kick ass! Haven’t had to “break” them in, haven’t had to buy all kinds of inserts. Haven’t had 1 freakin blister!!! I’m on my feet 10 hours a day 6-7 days a week on concrete or gravel
Just recently purchased these a week ago. Easy to break in and comfortable when you first put them on. Can’t wait to see how the hold up on the winter months! Carhartt is a great brand and have some of the best quality items I’ve ever purchased for on the job!
Very comfortable and functional! I’m a broke college student who is hesitant on spending money but I needed a good pair of boots. No regrets. These boots are great
This is the best work boot I’ve ever owned. Comfortable, super supportive, and super cute, too!!
Just tried them on and they are super comfortable out of the box as compared to much more expensive boots. Will have to get back later on how well they stand up.
This is my 2nd pair in 4 years. Switching back from another brand to these, as I've used them both and decided that the Carhartt's, while not quite as durable on the toe, have a more durable sole. The other brand is narrower toe at the front ended up causing me ankle and knee issues, the extra space in the Carhartt toe has me feeling much better by the end of the week.

I live in the Colorado Rockies, and have worn these in spring rain, winter snow, and summer drought. I work full time as an HVAC technician and also side gig once in a while with general labor, home renovations, and automotive repair. These boots really have dealt with a lot and hold up well over all.

I hope when this pair sees it's last day these are still available. I'll definitely buy another.
I’ve been wanting a pair of Carhartt work boots for woman for a long time now, and I’m not disappointed.
After wearing them for 2 weeks, I’m extremely happy with the performance and how comfortable they are.
As a builder of residential homes, I spend a lot of time in my boots, and these are everything I hoped they would be!
They came in a timely manner, and they were already oiled. The size was perfect ????
Great pair of boots!
Can you please make a variety of work boots for Women! I like some of the Men's style work boots but you don't have them in 7 1/2 e.
The sole is a bit flat but other then that seems good.
These boots are so comfortable. They took no time at all to break in. I wear them on concrete for several hours a day. I highly recommend these boots.
Comfortable to work in all day, great support
Very comfortable! However, the ankle area hurt in the beginning and took longer to “break in”. After a couple of weeks the foot area and ankle area were both broken in and I haven’t had problems since. These being composit toe and not steel toe is great (I typically wear nonsafety toe boots), definitely not as heavy but still great support. I normally wear an 8.5 but got a 9, the smaller size was just a tad too tight and having a half size bigger allows for extra socks (if needed).
A very good boot. I wish there was a larger selection of work boots for women. Not all of us work in an office.
These boots are very comfortable and very durable. I would highly recommend them.
Love the look, feels great when I put them on, but when I’m working outdoors for too long (an hour or so) I immediately get blisters on my heels. Yes I wear thick socks with the boots as well, and they help a little bit more, but once I get those blisters, I can’t wear these boots for a good week. And the cycle repeats.
Decent boot. I usually need a wide width boot, and although these don't come in a wide size, they fit pretty well in that area. I wouldn't say they run really wide, but they definitely don't squish my toes like some other boots I've tried. I wear a 7.5 and these seem true to size. I like that the leather is tough, and they're not terribly heavy. Very sturdy and supportive. Love the electrical hazard rating.
Only real complaint is that they give me blisters on my heels once in a while. I have to make sure I have the right pair of socks to help avoid that. The inside fabric of the heel has a hole worn in it. It could just be because of my specific foot, but it was still disappointing.
All in all, it's a good boot, and so far, it's the best I've had. Not sure if that really says much since it's still not as good as the men's version, but that seems to be the way it goes with the women's versions of these products. Very poor/minimal selection and always somewhat lower quality.
I like is comfortable
Took a couple days to break in but after that, these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Have had them for almost a year and have had no issues. These boots have held up to a years worth of landscape jobs.
i have a pair of lightweight hikers and thought they were the best, but now i own these sturdy, comfortable, and have just fallen in love with these boots!! they are everything described to a “T” totally recommend them:)
Amazing fit and not to heavy!!
Placed my order and received as stated. I was looking for a comfortable boot for a manufacturing environment. I wanted something that could handle the day to day changes in weather and work areas. It is heavy duty without being a lead weight. I have worn them since received with no issues. The color is not as dark and blends with work attire. This is much better than gym shoes on a concrete floor. Highly recommend for comfort and durability. The boot runs larger but after being on my feet for 10-12 hours and swelling it is a relief.
I am dissapointed with this boot. I needed some composite toe boots for the cold winter coming up working on the flightline. I have had these for just over a month and they are very uncomfortable and I find myself slipping much easier when wearing this boot. Very slick on some of the painted surfaces. I notice a big difference between this boot and some other ones I have with vibrant soles. I love Carhartt products but I’ll probably pass on the boots in the future.
Overall great boot.
Very comfortable!
These were exactly the shoes I was looking for. The shoes met everything on our company's requirements for electrical hazard shoes. Great looking and was what I expected.
Boot is great Shoelaces could use some improvement
Quality boot with a stylish look. Very classic, my new favorite.
I wore these landscaping for over a year. Heavy duty to the max. Very comfy and protective too.
