The Climbing WP Ins. 8" Composite Toe Work Boot features:
The most uncomfortable boot I ever had
Overall pretty happy with these. For the first couple weeks they pinched my ankles wicked bad but now that they've broke in I haven't had an issue. Still waterproof, very warm and comfy, will buy again if they hold up for more than a year
Cons:
Hard boot to break in, the D rings for the shoelace it bothers really bad on the ankle bone .I’ve had to switch to my old boots due to having blisters on my ankles, won’t recommend this boot. Still I’ve re routed the shoe lace skipping the D ring so it will be less uncomfortable it makes a little difference but still bother’s my ankles.
Pros: I like the higher heal it grabs really good on the ladders steps.
Awesome boot very comfortable and keeps your feet dry love it will buy again and again
I ordered wide boots even though they're wide they're still very tight
The lightest logger I have ever worn. Doesn’t get me tired. I’ve noticed my posture has been better since I have been wearing them. True to size. Took 2 days to break in. My only complaint is the laces. They are cheap and they untie all the time, but that’s an easy fix. They also look great.
Very comfortable boot once they’re broken in after about 2 weeks
I heard the quality of these boots really went down-hill. Although not the same quality as 15 years ago(what is?), I still love these boots. The quality hasn’t diminished enough to discourage me from keeping these as my “go to” boots...Purchased around Black Friday 2021.
The boots are great, I use them for work. The only downside is that they run pretty tight. I got these wanting to use them for work but man, they run tight. It gets uncomfortable at times. I thought they would have broken in by now but they haven't. I usually wear a 8 1/2 in men's. I got a 9 and it was too tight and got a 9 1/2 and it was still too tight. I should have got a 10 instead. Apart from all that they have been well. My cheap Walmart boots are more comfortable but they're steel toed and I prefer the composite.
Great boots it’s my second pair first pair lasted over 4 years doing construction
Sucks to break In around the ankles and can blister if tied too tight at first
Ive had these boots for about 6 years now, from welding, hiking, automotive shops and much more these have held up great .
I’m very please with the boots
I
I am in construction and am on my feet all day. I also have to maneuver terrain that is unstable. These boots do a great job at securing my footing. They are super comfortable too!
They feel and fit great!
Very happy
Haven’t worn them on the job yet, but they’re pretty comfortable and light. They don’t make my feet sweat like other boots. I’m hoping they hold up as well as my current pair of Irish setters
The boots are exactly what he wanted and the fit is perfect :-)Yes he would definitely order them again!!!!

When will we receive our blanket that if we ordered more than a certain amount, we would get this blanket or throw?
Tried these out in the store and got the the size that fit me. I do ROW clearance and require boots good for rough terrain and climbing. These boots seemed to fulfill both needs; however they are ungodly uncomfortable! Wearing them day to day they rub right above my inner ankles. Study boots but the most uncomfortable I've ever worn unless I don't lace them up... Personally wish I would of gone with the cheaper alternative
Very pleased I have always bought the Red Wings brand for there climbing boots and these are better with half the price very pleased and will be buying again.
They run small. Having a hard time breaking them in... kill my feet
It is smaller than regular I’m 9 and these are tight I should order 91/2
Great boot need stronger boot laces they dont last very long definitely will be buying a second pair of boots
Great boots for climbing
I'm a lineman and bought these for that purpose, quite honestly they're bad, the eyelets/hooks are where the gaff shank presses against your leg, since the hooks are so bulky/stick out so much the eyelets press into your leg when pressure is applied/pipe climbing, you will bleed. Another bad thing is that there's a lump inside the boot where it hits the side of your toe and you will develop calluses or just have the skin raw from that lump rubbing up against the side of your upper foot near the big toe area, so dont walk for a long distance with this. Another con is that Carhartt basically tells you to "buzz" off and cant do anything for you, while other shoe companies wouldn't let this happen in the first place. Go for established companies, dont get me wrong carhartt makes great work gear but leave the boots to the pros.
Comfortable I will be getting another pair
Great boots. Exactly what I needed for my line of work.
I am a size 12 and they are to tight for my feet. I have been having to alternate between them and my old pair of Red Wings every other day to try to work them in and it’s helped a little but definitely to tight. I place the order online and because I can’t exchange it I guess I’m stuck with it. I don’t want to deal with the return process and trying to reorder to hopefully be satisfied. Overall quality seems good
Would like the inner soles to be a little softer
Have owned Carolina, Chippawa, Georgia, and Rocky. These boots beat them all by far. Comfortable, warm, not to heavy, and rugged. Will definitely buy
Uncomfortable the lace holders rub your ankles no matter the tightness or looseness. The insoles are terrible. Definitely wish I had never bought these.
Would buy again
Great boots for workin he heavy in cold rainy and snowy weather. A lil sweaty on sunny winter days but would rather sweat than freeze. Will buy an uninsulated pair when spring gets near!
Had these boots out in concrete , rebar, an all the muck in construction. These boots are tough an will buy again when they wear out, still in great shape. Still keep the water off my feet.
After I got this boot I put them on and found that this boot was very uncomfortable to walk in and the side on my ankle started to hurt! I took them off and put back in box and sent them back. If you someone like me that spend 10 to 16 hours in your boots these aren't the boot for you Trust me
Very good boot and it helps if working in the cold. Composite toe saves me when working in a cooler/freezer. Had a 20 plus pound frozen turkey nail me on the boot and no problem. Great boot and will be happy to wear this
Great boots! Good strong bottoms for climbing with gaffs on. Steep heel keeps hooks where they belong.
Nice solid boot. Composite toe is perfect for electrical workers. Would work great for climbing and aerial work.
Good boots
Was having nerve damage symptoms using other boots. Timberland pro. Now symptoms subsiding.

Ladder work requires a stronger shank. Especially when lifting materials up to roof. That is when pressure is the most damaging to feet.
Glad these are back were not available for awhile. Had a pair from a few years ago that lasted 2 seasons.
Love my new boots , Carhartt is the only brand I wear
True to size, built tough. Im tough on my clothes and shoes. Im on my feet all day, up and down ladders, stairs, and small obstacles. I wouldn't expect these to be my goto boot for a long hike, but when it comes to fishing or short walks with my dog, these are what i reach for.
Most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn and I’m not big logger boot guy.
Very nice boot would recommend for working outdoors
I love the shoes but i normally wear a regular 10 and these are tight and my toes hurt at the end of the day even after a coulpe of weeks. Should have went a 10 wide
bought these boots a year ago. they still look as good the day i bought them very happy with them.
Great boots. I wear these to work, and outside around the house and sometimes casually. I recommend allowing a a couple of days of break in time. They are stiff brand new out the box. I purchased mine after work and broke them in over the weekend and they were fine at work come Monday. They allow you to lace up through the hooks, and a opening in th hooks, great ankle support and a lot of tread for the heel, the boot is also slanted for a better natural grip and heel to toe walking. They are also insulated and keep my feet warm in 20 degree weather. Absolutely love theses boots
Great boots, comfy and well supporting.I will say it takes some time to break in but it's well worth it!
Best boot or footwear for the money. Bought one year ago and still strong. Planning to buy back just in case.
Love the new boots. Bummed that the black boots that I purchased in the past were discontinued. Also I was planning on ordering a second pair, but there was only the one pair in stock. I hope that these are not going to be discontinued also. I have been waring this style boot for 30 years now.
No , on this boots
They feel great for long days
I first bought these boots to replace my old work boots because they looked great, and fit well. I was pleased to find that they broke in quickly and were very comfortable to wear all day. They also held up great to whatever I threw at them.

The reason I'll never switch boots again is because I was in a bad head on collision when the driver in the opposite lane fell asleep. My cab was ripped wide open, leaving my foot outside, pinned under ripped up metal. It cut through the leather, but left only a scratch on my foot, which I'm sure would've been bad if I wasn't wearing these. The rivets holding the laces were nearly ripped off, but held, leaving me with a sprain instead of broken bones.

Best boots I've ever owned.
Love these boots. The only pair up to the challenge of dairy farming. 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Warm, provide excellent arch support, offer ankle support as well, and they come in wide sizes. Buy these.
A little tight for first couple weeks ,but good fit now. I like them best boot I bought.
I've had 3 pair of these boots. It's not the boots failure. I kill boots! I'm a hard worker tough job sites dirt to concrete to hot top. I take care of my feet because my feet carry the work load of the job site
My husband loves these boots. These boots have lasted him well over a year.
Best logger I've owned
