Cool husband loves his boots
On my second pair and I’ll be sending these back also. First pair had an eyelet pop out with less than a week of wear. This pair has torn along the back of the boot third stitch down from the top of the rubber heel guard. Splits all the way open where you can see your sock. Being an over the road truck driver I wear them all day (no not flip flops lol) and they are comfortable just not having luck of them holding together.
Does the job. Could use a bit more cushion inside but not a bad boot.
The wide wasn’t as wide as I had hoped, but other than that an excellent product!
Comfortable boots. Use them every day for work
Absolutely loved them while I had them, someone stole them off my porch
The best work boot for the money you have available.. these boots are great
They are good boots when they are in one piece. The soles have fallen off twice.
They are a nice rugged boot, but I will say, taking a while to break them in. Hurting my feet every day. Hopefully we get them broke in soon.
I have been wearing carhartt boots for the last 15 years and these were not designed well. I always wear 10.5 wide. The way the tongue is sewn your foot has to be much skinnier and shorter to comfortably get your foot in. By time I could force my foot through which was actually quite painful with my neuropathy my socks were pulled up so bad they were forced in between my toes. Took about 10 steps and it was extremely uncomfortable. They did not seem like wide foot boots. My 6 inch rugged flex with composite toes are comfortable from the first time put them on. I was looking for some more ankle support with these 8 inch but it was a horrible fit for my feet. It's like you need a 9inch regular-not wide foot to fit into these 10.5 wides. Needs a bigger opening to get your foot in and make them wider
The only complaint I have is that there is very minimal tread and traction lugs on bottom.
This should be improved
Best boots Ever good Quality
My second pair of this style of boot. Highly recommend for comfort and reliability. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the horrible boot strings they come with. Both strings broke within a week on both pairs I've had.
Excellent boot, worth every penny.
So far so good, ask me after a years worth of wear.
So far so good, my feet are warm and dry and that's with walking in snow and water that's sometimes 3 inches deep!
Way to stiff
Seem to be well made. Sizing was accurate. Doesn't feel like they will require a lot of break-in time. Insulation performance seems good. I've worn them with snowshoes and just working in the snow and cold of Wisconsin
He says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn!
Very comfortable boot, it fit perfect!! Hope it will last me a long time.. I will be using only for winter months ..
These boots hav a great fit and they form around my ankle for good support.
So comfy and warm
Probably the most comfortable boot I’ve had so far. Tried many and have been pretty pleased with them. I beat the snot out of them working as a mechanic. I’m also outdoors doing numerous things. Finally time for a new pair after 2 years.
Very comfortable and warm, seems to be very nicely made
bought a pair of these boots July 6th of 2021, its dec 10th 2021 and I have to get a new pair of work boots tomorrow. I will not be buying another pair of these or any other carnhart boot. I will be spending the extra money on a pair of Carolinas or red wings. The soles are basically smooth, the right sole is cracked across the toe area, the lining separated from the boot itself and bunched up at the hea, they are heavy, and feel clunky on your feet almost unnatural. I would maybe, and I mean last resort maybe I would buy these for $50 from walmart.
My sone in law loves them. It is his second pair and they have both been very durable
Not to bad yet! Dont seem to have much traction when wet!
Great boots. Super durable and they keep my feet warm and dry. They were flexible when I got them and almost felt "broken in" already. Definitely pleased with these boots.
So far, these have not been that great. They are heavy as bricks and the word “Flex” should be removed from the name unless you put a “No-“ in front of it for “No-Flex”. These are huge and heavy. Not super happy but after this much money, I will try to get used to them and get some amount of use from them.
Great boot, in use mink oil to keep them waterproof and keeps the leather from drying out n slows down the cracking of the material
Bought a pair in January 2021 with in a month where the heal meats the back of the boot ripped on both boots and my feet were getting wet from snow. Its a shame because they are so comfortable almost a year into them the rest of the boot is still holding up other then the heal will most likely go back to the wedge toe
Excellent boot, comfortable to wear.
After 5 months with these boots, they really protect my feet from various liquids and hazards. They are very prone to get scars from mildly sharp objects, but rub right out - if you desire. I have walked through plumbing discharge, mud, mowed lawns, etc. Numerous heavy objects have fallen on it, and of course the composite toes have protected me. The rubber toe and heel covers really help the boots stay durable, as I cut a lot of grass and kick sticks and stones around. Not surprisingly, the laces are fraying due to heavy usage, but that's not a big deal. Laces are inexpensive and easy to repair. Overall, excellent boots!
These boots are my first pair of true, full work boots (I’m 16.) The build quality is excellent, but they feel clumsy and unnatural on my feet. After only two days of work, my boots had very sharp accents on what part of the boots was exposed to the outside. The laces need break in time, which was odd. But, my overall rating is high because these are great boots that I believe will last me at least 10 years. If a friend were to ask me what work boots to get, I would steer them towards Carhartt boots because of the quality and durability.
Purchased these from blains farm
VERY disappointed with these boots. Recieved a pair of these for Christmas 2020, and in less than two months on the job, and the toes of the soles are separating from the body of the boot. Damn shame, because I actually liked them. Wore them a few times a week through January to break them in. Started wearing them daily in the beginning of February, and found them to be comfortable. However, about 2wks ago, I noticed the toe on the right boot beginning to separate. Today, noticed the left was also starting to separate. For the cost of these boots, they damn sure should have lasted longer than a month and a half. Pretty ticked off to be honest
Really awesome shoes. Light and comfortable.
My husband loves these boots.
Fantastic boots for working in the winter in New Hampshire!
Highly recommend!
Very comfortable, I'm hard on boots and these are holding up very well.
I love these boots
I love the grip and the insulation. These boots come feeling tough and they show it too. I put my boots through tough conditions and these have held up so far. They are also comfortable which is hard to find in a work boot. Very impressed.
I had to return the first pair because they were 2 big but the second pair fit me like a glove. Good fit good look and my feet r warm
Finally a winter boot that keeps my feet warm. Great traction also
i can't speak on how the durability is but i picked this boot up this morning at 10am and have had it on for 12 hours in 10 degree snow storms and can't even tell i've been in boots all day. perfectly warm and dry foot when i get home this evening,
Love these boots, switched from HAIX firefighting boots after retiring from Fire Dept. I have been using these boots exclusively the past few months and they are super comfortable and durable. The only suggestion I have is to add a pull loop on the back top ankle, and maybe heavier duty laces.
I have been using these boots this winter for snow blowing, snowshoeing, and general working outside here in Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe, CA and never cold or wet even in snowy and slushy conditions. Granted the “cold” temps are in the 10-35ºF range, your results may differ in Alaska, Canada, etc!
They have been warm, breathable, durable and waterproof.
Our other property is a 19 acre ranch in Sunol, CA where it gets cold (16ºF) and muddy, and also very warm (106ºF) I am using them around the ranch daily, a lot of walking around and also building a barn, like I said they are super comfortable to wear all day from early morning to evening during typical work around the ranch and building construction, up and down ladders, etc. Very breathable and not too warm even with the insulation. I like the height for stability. The sizing is pretty accurate, for example I wear size 11 in Firefighting boots, a 12 in running shoes, and the 11.5 is perfect for everyday socks yet with enough room for thicker socks in winter
I purchased a pair about 6 weeks ago and I’m very happy with them. I’m a UPS driver in Michigan, I’m on all kinds of surfaces 10-12 hours a day and get in and out of the truck about 200 times a day. They are comfortable with very good ankle support, the break in time was about two weeks. I will buy another pair when these wear out and do recommend them. The only complaint I have is that the top three grommets for the laces are much smaller than they need to be and do make lacing them a pain.
Looks good now, but they made in china. And the quality has been steadily going down since the last 10 yrs, i know i been a Carhartt wearer since the 70’s and my clothes dont hold up anymore, especially the cotton t-shirts wear out, fade, neck sag etc in 3to4 months, and im retired. the boots feel and look good now, I will let u know in a couple months
very comfortable. great boot
This is my third pair . They are very comfortable, I wear them all day at work winter and summer. I still have the first pair almost worn out.
Great boots! Working on wearing out my second pair.
Ordered my 3rd pair on Cyber Monday from Carhartt.
Well, got an email about 10 days after informing me that
they are being discontinued! No boots. Managed to find
a pair at Tractor Supply. Message to Carhartt is start making again!
Great boot
too many pressure points from the tongue and lace eyelets, cannot even wear for a full work shift they are so uncomfortable
Comfortable fit right out of the box. They stand up to the subzero temps we have here in winter and don’t melt your feet during the summer. Light enough to handle all day on the trail too. I will buy these again when the time comes.
Quality sure isn't there. I have had this pair for less than a month now but after about a week I noticed the rubber on the front of the toe was already separating. I kinda expected more out of such a well known company. Right out of the box I had to replace the laces because one snapped as soon as I went to put them on
I'm on day 3 with these boots and I am on my feet all day and walk on metal non skid. My feet have never been more comfortable.
Definitely recommend, way better than any Red Wing boot I've ever wore, and a lot cheaper LOL
These are some durable boots I do foundations from sun up to sun down and most boots can not handle it “justins” not very heavy and I have not slipped on the oil we put on our forms which is very slick
Excellent!
the be very hard to get one' foots in as there is no pull strap on rear and the tongue of the boot is too tight to slip foot past. The tread depth isn't deep enough to give good traction in the snow. The toe has a rubber cap that is easily torn and the stiching doesn't hold up on the toe cap
The safety toe will become exposed when this rubber cap is ripped.
Feels amazing. Perfect for wide feet.
Very warm and comfortable boot. I would definitely recommend.
i like these boots. They're warm, comfortable and keep my feet dry in wet weather. My only ask is that they put a pull strap on the top of the back to help pull them on.
Best boot there is.
Products that were ordered from Carhartt are wonderful and Dawn made it very simply. Dawn is knowledgeable and a great employee.
I’ve always been leery of buying boots online because I like to try them on first. I couldn’t find these in a store so I ordered them online. I’m very happy with these boots! Very comfortable and made well. I’ve been wearing them for about a month with no complaints. Just the normal break-in you normally have and you’re good to go. I would definitely buy these again!
So far so good. Keeps my feet warm and comfortable during long 12 hour days.
Flex 8 boots. Aren’t the greatest. Kinda difficult to put on. No strap in the back to pull. Heavier than I thought would be. They’re a pair of boots. That’s all I can say about. Not the most comfortable nor the the least uncomfortable.
I got these for my fiancé as he needed a good pair of work boots. He absolutely loves them and says that these are the best work boots he has ever owned. He feet stay warm and loves how comfortable they are.
Well built for even the toughest jobs and comfortable!
So far so good really comfortable and heavy duty I really like
3rd pair I have owned. I work for a tree company that is very rough on boots and these are the best of any brand.
Comfort is excellent great flexibility could always improve by making boots lighter but they are one of the lighter boots out there overall very happy with my Purchase
Good boots so far so good.
Best work boots I’ve owned. Actually, this is my 3rd pair! They’re waterproof, warm in the winter, hard toe, durable, rugged, and comfortable! What more could you ask for?
Bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them, great quality and will last him a long time.
The Boots are great but I dont know who call ,If the company even cares about this issue but Two months in to this great wear my my stats clicking not sure whats the issue but I believe its a rock but Two months already . Its like I'm wearing tap shoes !
These boots offer insulation to keep your feet warm on those cold days when you really don’t want your feet to freeze and make you miserable all day. I’ve bought these boots twice and have no complaints about them! Hands down these are even far superior to my military cold weather boots.
This was a gift for my son.He really like them and they are the perfect size.
Very nice boot. Very comfortable. Really like the 8” length. Stabilizes the foot. Can wear these all-day and not feel fatigued. I will buy these again. Hope they still make them.
Love the durability I bought this shoes for my construction work and they are so Comfortable
I bought these a few months ago because I needed new boots. I went with carhart because I always hear good things, well I was happy at first but now I'm not a few months later. The seems are ripping, stitchescoming out, and bottoms are slimming down fast. I had a pair of Carolinas and they lasted 4 and a half years. Dont think these will last till winter. They aren't waterproof anymore i know that.
Very great bots
Very solid boots, will probably last a decade. Requires some breaking in.
Comfortable and rugged. ????
The boots are great! Very comfortable and lightweight.
Love these boots I'm on my 3rd pair of these and they have all the specs I need for my job they are super comfortable, keep my feet warm and dry, and they look great too. The best part of all is the customer service my second pair had an issue and they sent me a free replacement pair!!!! I also recommend their overalls, they are very durable and warm. Great work gear all around and a great company.!!!
I received my new Carhartt rugged flex composite toe work boots and I am very happy with everything about them. I work for a professional lawn care service where I do lots of walking, mowing, weedeating, etc. My feet feel great at the end of the day always warm and dry. The boots were very comfortable from day one. The lace ups provide an extra amount of support for my ankles during all of my activities. Thank
I got these for my boyfriend for his birthday and he absolutely LOVES them!!!!
Love these boots I’ve worn them every day since I purchased them
Very comfortable and warm but not waterproof or water resistant. The rubber sole leaks into the boot.
I loved them .
Amazingly comfortable and durable for outdoor roadwork and construction keeps you warm even stuffed in the snow for hours. Amazing pair of boots
Exactly what I wanted ! They look sharp just like the picture and they are very comfortable. Very comfortable! Right out of the box. They look like they will last a long time because you can tell they are well made. I am very happy with this purchase!
They look just like what was shown on line. So far so good. Would like to continue my review after a few weeks. Once they are broken in I should be able to give a better review.
I've had these boots for a year now and couldn't be happier with the money I spent. Most comfortable work boot I've ever worn. I was skeptical that the leather design would actually be/stay waterproof but they definitely have. I've put them through the wringer, soaked them with oil and hydrolic fluid, gas and diesel, foot deep mud, and they're still good as new. They only issue I've had was the lases frayed and broke after a couple months, but I ordered some decent ones online that work great. Overall, the perfect boot.
It is s comfortable fit true to the size you order. If you are not used to high boots it will take a few extra steps or so to get familiar with. Very light weight with the composite foam steel toe
Good fit with hiking socks. Can’t wait to break them in on a hike.
Their nice but they hurt back of my leg
The strings are thin and a few inches short. They felt good from day one and I haven't had any discomfort yet. Seems to be a high quality work boot.
Only issue, as being new they are very stiff, feel comfortable, nice fit and size was just perfect.
Wondering how long does the warranty last?they are good boot.must by your size run big and wide.
It was aite , insulation is light tho
Great work boot - comfortable, sturdy!
I've owned these boots for 3 months now and they already leak badly. Absolutely no excuse for that. First pair of Carhartt boots and will be my last. Have owned coats and bibs from Carhartt that are great. Apparently not the same craftmanship in the boots. Chinese junk. Have some pride in what you produce!
Not very happy with the craftsmanship of this boot. Purchased these boots since I had nothing but good quality clothes from Carhartt. The boots a given me a blister When the inside part of the ankle. It seems to be come from the seam. Also the top of my feet hurt from the tongue of the boot. Other than that no other issues with the boots. Very disappointed with carhartt boots. I'm still very pleased with their clothing. But I will go back to buying red wing boots. Which I'm hoping to get to the store this week. Wasted on $170 on these boots that I can't wear.
Absolutely love these boots and the durability of these boots are too notch, I have only bought two pairs in the last couple of years and I do lawn care for a living.
The most comfortable pair of boots right out of the box that I have had in a long time. I would highly recommend them.
I work 12.5 hour days on concrete floors and have had no issues not even a break in period.
Carhartt may be a good brand for jackets, but not Boots!! These pair I’ve had for about 4 months. The toe is coming apart, heal of the sole has separated, and the stitching is coming out of the side of the boot. Also the boots will completely bake your feet in the summer very hot, and they leak water extremely bad!! No waterproof
These are the best pair of boots I have ever owned! I bought a pair for my dad as well and he agrees with me.
When shipped both boots came folded in half near the ankles...!!! Thus lace loops on the inside of boot are way to tight. Leather looks worn as well. If I wear them at work for an hour my ankles will bleed. If shipped properly this would have been a nice pair.
I have owned these boots for over 1-1/2 years now with no issues. I oil them every quarter to help with the wear and tear and to keep them soft. I keep them on a boot dryer at night to keep them dry.

I work in the Dairy industry and walk through manure and chemicals, it is a very wet environment. I have gone through Red Wings and other carhartt boots that only last 6-8 months. In short, thee boots are worth every penny. Wish I could get a pair with more insulation though.
I really have no idea how well they last, but they run small, I wear a 13 so that is what I ordered and can't wear them, already shipped them back and will try a 14
Nicest Boots I’ve ever owned!!!
Very very comfortable boots. Great quality with a slick look.
Quality that nearly matches the price.
Great boots. I work outdoors. And these boots are the best. Keep my feet warm and dry. Comfortable for the long shifts.
Durable. Had my first pair about 3and a half years just recently bought a second pair , but still wear the original pair also.
Good boots.
Is a very tough and rugged boot that feels good and last.
I purchased these boots about 18 months ago, and they were great for the first few months. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and i am exposed to oils, grease, and solvents daily. It did not take long for the stitching of the boots to begin to fail, and once it started it did not stop. The toe has since shredded due to the damaged stitching and various parts of the boots are torn open. After about 8 months the boots started to become uncomfortable, but this was solved with a different insole. Overall, i might be tempted to purchase again if the durability of the stitching can be resolved.
Had mine for about 2 years and they're still holding strong. Absolutely the best pair of boots I've ever owned and definitely worth the extra money I spent on them. I worked night maintenance at a ski Lodge on top of MT. Hood in Oregon and I needed something that could handle several feet of snow on a daily basis. They preformed remarkably and I still use them to this day! Very rugged and sturdy. They ran are a little heavy on the feet but it isn't too bad even after a 13 hour shift. Very satisfied.
No complaints at all. Great boots for work.
First day with them on. Let me tell you, they are a good lightweight boot but are durable and they fit me so good too. They don’t rub against my ankles or heels, and they don’t blister the sides of my feet. I currently have them on at the Oregon coast.
You say oil tanned leather uppers, the truth is leather and fabric uppers, I did not know this until I put new laces in them, working in the welding field this is not a good thing because my feet could be burned, if I would have known this I would not have bought them.
This workboot is very light and extremely comfortable. it is my second pair now and it outlast any other workboot on the market.
My boots are everything I hoped they would be.
Broke in very easy and extremely light weight compared to my Carolinas of the same style
Love them great boot perfect fit
i`ve had these boots about a month and a half now and this winter we have gotten a total of about 20" of snow and frigid weather well into the -*20f.my feet are warm and dry and comfortable in these boots.i work in an auto repair shop on hard and cold concrete floors all day.the insoles are great comfortable all day long like most Ortholites are.the fit is true to size and the width is just about perfect.the warmth is on par with 400g boots, and i have`nt needed a heavy wool sock yet.be aware that these boots are big,the toe box is quite large and the extra material on the toe and heel make it larger which is fine for me because i`m kicking a hoist in all day and wear the toes of boots fast.i will say they are flexible right out of the box and had no hot spots or soreness at first wearing but if i tie them too tight the heel box is tight and uncomfortable.i`m giving these boots 5 stars but i have only had them a month or so,i will update this review though in time.
Very comfortable, waterproof
I AM ALL CARHARTT FROM HEAD TO TOE, UNDER AND ALL. I JUST PUT THIS PAIR OF BOOTS ON AND DON'T EVER WANT TO TAKE THEM OFF. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. THEY ARE KEEPING MY FEET SO WARM IN THIS 15 DEGREE WINDCHILL WEATHER. I FEEL LIKE I AM WALKING ON A CLOUD. I LOVE THEM! THEY ARE TRUE TO SIZE AND I WEAR THEM WITH ONLY CARHARTT SOCKS. COMFORTABLE AND SINCE THEY ARE CARHARTT THEY ARE GREAT!
Yes I would recommend this to anyone that works outside
Haven’t had them long (2 weeks) but I’m impressed so far. I’m a lineman by trade and we do a lot of underground work as well as overhead, and so far they’ve stood up to the mud, cold, rain, etc. They don’t take long to break-in, I’m using them as my winter boots, they aren’t heavy, mud and dirty spray right off with a hose. It’s a bit early to give them a complete grade but an early grade of 5 stars is what I’m giving for now.
Im very happy with these boots so far, but I have only been wearing them for 2 Weeks, I really like them so far. I can’t really give them a 5 star rating until I see how long they will hold up.They are replacing a pair of another brand's boots that cost about the same. They lasted 3 Years in the Gas industry, If the Carhartt’s last like that I would be happy to change my review to a 5 star rating. We will see.
Per Husand they have kept his feet warm and dry in these Chicago winters. He works construction sites as an electrician and loves them. He did report that they are heavy on the feet.
I opened the box and by first glance they looked good, but after putting them on, I instantly knew they looked ridiculous, I got a 11 medium, the toe widened out like an ince and it kinda resembles how a clown shoe looks, idk if mine are defective or not but I’m sending them back
A very comfortable boot. Keeps my feet warm and dry in a cold, wet work environment. Worth every penny!!
They fit great. Very comfortable. Highly recommended.
Have only had this boot on my feet for a few days but so far, so great. The boot has a very solid appearing construction and feels great on the foot with a ton of ankle support. The 400g Thinsulate in the lining has delivered on it’s promise of all-day warmth (I frame houses here in Canada... all day comfort from my clothing is critical to the success of my work day) I can’t comment yet on the durability factor but I have to say I am impressed with the Carhartt footwear so far!
Good comfortable fitting boot. I work around a lot of water and have had no problems with this boot.
I am an aircraft mechanic and am on non-skid concrete all day. Because the concrete is so abrasive, I usually I go through 1 pair of boots a year, but these have lasted 2 years so far and show little signs of wear. I have had these boots for 2 years now and they have held up great. I got stuck in a rain storm, several of my friends had standing water inside their boots, but my feet were warm and dry. I use them as winter boots and mine are not worn in the summer. My feet are always warm and dry. They are comfortable to wear. All boots are not sneakers and may require a gel insert for additional cushion, but I have not put one in this pair yet and I have been fine. I might in the future though. I would buy this pair again in a heartbeat.
Solid rugged instant comfort
I have been wearing these boots for the last week or so and I am very pleased. They are very comfortable and warm.
Not very comfortable, But I am sure they will break in. (Hopefully it won't take too long)The insulation is non existent. I wore my new boots to a football game and my feet were on the cold side. (It wasn't that cold of a day)All in all the construction seems to be very good, just was not what I was hoping for coming from Carhartt
Great gear thank you!!!!!!!!!!
I have had these boots for about a month and I find them far better than my red wings , the material on the toe is great at protecting the front from prematurely wearing out . I also love the ankle support it's a firm fit and I highly recommend them
very comfortablewould recommend
I bought these boots in January of 18 and have been wearing them for 40-60 hours a week for 10 months and they have held up great. I've worked in ankle high water never got my feet wet. They did take a little bit to break in but they were relatively comfortable right out of the box. I haven't had any stitches, seams or soles rip. When it is time to replace these I will be buying another pair of carhartt boots.
I walked it looking for a great boot I must say this boot is worth every penny I spend on them and I wear them on 12hr shifts so yes I've had to change the inserts but other than that it's an amazing boot
Nice boot I’m sure it will last for awhile, this is my first carharrtt boot
I’m a fan, have been for years. I started wearing Carhartt work boots and clothing when I was twenty years old. I’m fourty two if that tells you anything about the way I feel towards the Carhartt line of products. I’m gonna keep my Carhartt streak going. Thanks Carhartt for making such dependable and quality products. Customer for life!!
I like them, in two years of work in construction I think it has been the best buy in boots. What I would recommend is to put two pairs of strings or laces
They are very warm but not to the point where your feet begin to sweat.
I love these boots! I work with concrete and the hold up excellent. This is the second pair I have owned, the first pair lasted almost 3 years
Would definitely recommend, this is my second pair.
great boot very comfortable
I needed an insulated boot for walking around in the Northern Colorado winter, my hiking boots weren't cutting it. When walking or working these shoes are nice and warm, so far only down to about 0F and I'm sure colder. When just sitting or driving, they don't keep my feet as warm, which is good because most businesses in the area are quite toasty in the winter.
I'm surprised how comfortable the boot is, in the fit as well as walking. I work outside in all kinds of weather I stay warm and dry.
Best boot hands down
These boots are fantastic. I've always worn Dakota, Wolverine etc. with any of them lasting about 10-12 months.

I've had my Carhartt boots for 2 years now... no tread left and there still comfortable, dry and warm.
So far I have worn these boots a half a dozen times. They are very comfortable. I generally only wear new boots a couple of hours at a time until they are broke in. However every time I have worn these boots I wear them through the whole day, and into the evening.
This boos got everything i need for work. keep my foot warm, relaxed and with the comfort i want.
Best work boot I ever bought, still wearing after 2 years of daily work
Only worn for 2 weeks and the stitching one the soles is already fraying!! Don't see them lasting the winter
So far so good. Comfortable and true to size. Can't give 5 stars as I haven't had them to long and hoping for durability.
I work in irrigation pumps. Durability has not been fully tested... but usually of I get six months out of a pair of boots, I'm happy. Great looking, comfortable, and warm. So far, very happy customer here.
Just moved to upstate New York so this is the first time in my life I have ever had to think about warm boots in this harsh climate. Very good looking boot. I'm nervous I didn't get a warm enough boot though so I can't wait to test it out when the weather starts dropping. Listened to customer service too and got some nice socks to go with these.
So I've worn Carhartt pants, shirts and jackets forever. For hunting, home, work (I work at a sawmill) and everything in between. But I had never tried their footwear. My first boots were wolverines and I just never switched. Those boots would typically last a year and I'd buy new ones, I just thought that's the way it is. They claimed to be waterproof but never were. My last pair lost all the stitching in 7 months and so I decided to go a different route. My father in law suggested carhartt boots so I bought these. They are the best boots I've ever had. Comfortable right out of the box! And actually waterproof. I haven't had them long but I've already seen less wear then I normally would on other boots. These have triple stitching throughout and seem quite tough; I suspect they will last two years at least with the proper care maybe more! I'm on my feet all day in a variety of environments both indoors and out and these boots have met and exceeded my standard of footwear. Bottom line Carhartt has earned a buyer of footwear for life! Get these boots!
