Ideal for landscaping and construction workers who require added toe protection, these Muck Chore Classic Tall Steel Toe Men's Rubber Work Boots keep feet dry and comfortable all day long. The 5 mm neoprene is waterproof and shock-absorbent. It also retains heat and is flexible to adjust to the natural contours of the foot for good support. In addition to outer waterproofing, these men's safety boots keep feet dry on the inside by wicking perspiration away from the skin. Built for durability, these men's rubber work boots feature a steel toe for impact protection, a steel shank for added support, and easy-to-clean rubber overlays and outsoles.
Great boots for my job running a hydro vac keeps my feet dry while working in very wet and muddy conditions. I'd recommend this boot to anyone who works in the mud.
I went through 2 pairs of these boots in a month, both leaked after about 2 weeks from the same location
3 pairs of boots all ranging from size 9-14 1 Month of use ever pair leaks at the seams. Horrible boot
Bulky, but overall a comfortable shoe. Good for working in wetlands. I've walked miles in the already and they're holding up well.
Have bought 2 pair of these boots over the last year. Soon after purchase on both (after 5 or so uses) the rubber outer ring of the boot connecting the bottom part of the boot to the main section came apart allowing water and even dew from wet grass to enter the boot, ruining them. I am not sure if cheaper rubber or glue is being used but this product should last a lot longer than a month. I loved these boots when they held up, wish this didn’t happen.
I bought this boot back in october and it lasted me until May (i wear these every day for barn work), and yet the pair i bought to replace them haven't lasted me even two months! I just don't know anymore. I feel like overall quality has gone down for lots of muck boots all over, because the first pair of muck boots i got nearly ten years ago easily lasted me for nearly two full years with no breaks, cracks, or leaks
I walk for miles in these boots for my job across all diff terrain types around the southeastern U.S. my first pair lasted me over 2 years before the inner heal wore out. They are so comfortable for me I wear them on every job, even sites where steel toes aren't required. My second pair started leaking at the seam after about 6 months and Muck handled the situation very professionally. Most everyone at my job uses Muck. They are high quality and comfort. Review from a 120lb female environmental consultant. Workware is often slim pickings for females, but these boots get the job done for anyone.
Last about 3 years or more depending on how often you wear them. I wear them daily. I’ve been buying them for years and the steel toe has saved my toes more than once. I have to buy one size larger than I usually do because they only come in a D width. A triple E width would make them 5 star boots.
I got these boots the last of November 2021 and they have a split across the top of the right boot we’re the steel toe ends I wore them all month of December and was burning trash and throwed them in the fire I should have tried to get them replaced but I figured we’re I had wore them around the farm there was no chance of getting them replaced I’ll try another boot next time
I’ve bought this style boot for work 3 times in 2 years and after 2-3 months of light to moderate wear one or both boots start to leak. I used to be a strong supporter of muck boots but anymore save your time and money.
I would just like to take a minute to let everyone know what a quality company Muck Boot Company is to deal with. I just received a replacement pair of boots... no hassle, just prompt professional service. These boots are tough as nails and fit perfect. I would recommend Muck boots to anyone who wants their feet to stay dry and comfortable. Thanks Muck!
I use these for rain boots at work, their the best!
I am very happy with the all around fit and quality at this time, keep up the good work
Bought these for my boyfriend as an option instead of his workbooks. He now wears these daily because of the comfort. Definitely getting our money worth
I bought these for my son. I also own a pair. We both work in a steel mill and I am outside rain or shine. Mine are great for work and always keep my feet dry while also being extremely comfortable. My son loves them bc they keep his feet dry and clean and he works in a particularly dirty part of the mill.
I have a pair at work
I bought these boots for my son. He says there the best he's ever worn before. Good looking boots.
Within a couple weeks of buying my first pair of ST Chores I noticed bubbles coming out between the rand and toe box of the left boot. Sure enough it's letting Water in. Not thrilled that I spent $150 to essentially buy a non-waterproof boot from the world's most popular waterproof boot company. These boots will freeze you out as well. Even before losing waterproof my toes would be numb an hour into my day. I'm a stormwater utility worker.
I have plenty of room in my boots and they are comfortable and true to size
I'm a female that works construction and Absolutely Love these boots! I wear a size 7 in woman, got a size 5, and they fit perfect. I tried the size 6 and they were just a tad too big. They keep your feet very warm too! I walk in these all day long and they truly comfortable.
Very very good boot I am a lineman best boot I ever had want trade it for the world
Bought these for my youngest Son who works outdoors . He absolutely loves them !! His feet are dry and warm !! Tells me it feels like he's wearing sneakers . Will purchase a pair for myself next ....
Fits and feels great! If there were gloves for your feet, these boots would be them.
Awesome boot. Keeps feet dry and warm. Could use a little more support in arches. Thanks
I like my new Muck boots. The functionality I get from them and in which I'm interested probably cost like 1/8 as much when my parents bought my boots - but I couldn't find the boot of my childhood, so I settled for paying extra. They're comfy, though: I like them. I took them on a hike, the other day - they did what they were supposed to do: kept my feet dry and therefore warm. I got the steel-toe version just for fun - they're surprisingly comfortable. They're just for keeping me dry, so, despite the tread, they didn't stop me from sliding on ice. But I used their edges to go down steep hills without much effort. I have to see if my spikes fit them (they should). I think they smell like burning tires, though - I assume that will improve with use. Also, my feet may sweat more than these were designed for - we'll see. Good socks should deal with that, regardless. I'm not sure it'll be easy to clean the insides. The rims were a little harsh on my calves (I prefer to wear my pants over my boots), so I'll have to wear taller socks - in fact, the little piece sticking out rubbed against my skin so much that the skin actually came off: it seemed like the design, not a manufacturing defect. I may be able to fold the tops down (may require bell-bottoms). Overall: seems like a good buy, so far.
Fast delivery comfy boots waterproof very pleased with their ruggedness aswell as being on my feet for hours and hours they don't make my feet hurt
Pretty comfortable. Kept feet dry. A little bigger than I thought they would be but they work great. Very happy with purchase.
Bought a pair for my wife and they fit her like a glove. Will work well for winter wear in MN.
This second pair I'm using now rubs my right ankle real bad, and idk whats different from the left to right... Also please dont remove this review, my last one is gone
Have had a job to find boots with a good fit, these are excellent.
Gave as a birthday present to son. He tried on and fit perfectly and were very comfortable. He will use at work. Good quality. Also received much faster than was expecting. Hopefully will order again from this company. Thumbs us for this family.
My 1st pair lasted 6 years until I snagged and punctured them on a piece of angle iron steel. My new pair picked right back up where the others left off... They are as comfortable as my dry day work boots. I recommend these to any industrial/construction worker who needs steel toed protection and wants dry feet... They are the best...
the inside soles come out easily the bottom sole detached from the boot after 3 months i tried attaching pictured but didn't have that option the inside was not sown properly or glued so I had to put tape on one boot so I wouldn't blister on my heel and leg my feet would get wet easily and if you work in the oilfield these are not the boots to wear out there wbm or obm theyre very slippery i fell on the pits hard enough to where my whole leg bruised bad the steel toe part does its job but the rest of the boot is not for this job! They don't stand flat they bubble from the detachment and they rock side to side if you tap them.
So extremely comfortable excellent support. With Muck boots on you can work all day without stopping
A gift for my daughter. It's her second pair. She loves them!
Overall good boots, only downside is they can be hard to take off w out using hands. If you're muddy it gets annoying.
My son loves his Muck work boots. This is his second pair.
I absolutely love theses boots! I work in the solar industry and am in a swamp all day and these keep my feet dry. In the winter where it was -11 with the windchill I was still warm. The only problem I had with the boots is that the inside liner ripped apart in a month at the heel but then again when your in them 50 hours a week and waking 7 miles a day it's bound to happen regardless of what boots. Over all best boots out there and I'd say 35 out of the 40 people I work with have them So that says something. Will definitely buy more in the future!
Very comfy boot to wear working all day. Once the temperature got to 70 degrees it started to get too warm but it was still manageable.
Been researching and looking at different waterproof steel boots for working at a brewery. Underestimating the comfort of the Men's Chore Steel Toe I was happy taken back. I am used to boots on my feet all day and this is a game changer. Not only are they relatively light for what they are, but solid and substantial enough for every chore/task I could think of. Seriously about to trade them for my work boots I've used as a cabinetmaker for 13 years. Might look different, me or my feet don't care about that though. Thanks Muck Boots for a game changer.
Occasionally I am called to dirty and dangerous places for work. I keep these in the boot of my car. They are great! I feel secure knowing they have a steel toe and shank and they fit my female foot well. Very comfortable.
Great boot for work! Very durable and comfortable as well
These babies have kept me warm and dry over the past few weeks. They fit well and slip on nice. 5 out of 5
I own tie up work boots, winter boots, hiking boots. I have nothing that I could just slip on, walk in the mud or muck and wash off without a worry of water getting in above the laces. I bought the men's chore tall with steel toe, that way my company could pay for them and I could wear them at work. I wear a size 14 and the fit is perfect, comfortable with just my regular socks on. Just slip on and go.
Ordered these to work in the brewery - super comfortable, easy to put on, and they fit much better under my pant legs than my previous other brand...they seem to be holding up well so far - great buy.
These boots are Crap. They have the look. The advertising photos suggest that they are rugged. They leak after 7 months of occasional use at the point where my foot bends at the toe when crouching down. I guess if the don't walk or work in them, they might be great. A good once a year winter Parade watching boot. They should not advertise these as a work or chore boot. There is virtually no wear on the soles and leak already. One winter and Im throwing them away and going back to Lacrosse boots.
6 month warranty!? What the...?1 I guess I could put bags on my feet. GLAD sandwich bags probably will last longer and have a better return policy.
DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND BUYING A PAIR EVERY 6 MONTHS! $150 wasted.
I wear a women's 8/ men's 6. So I purchased a men's 7 because you don't do half sizes. The boots still fit too tight, especially the left one.
Most comfortable boots I ever wore so far and seem to conform to my feet just right. I work in a food processing plant on my feet all day on a concrete floor, it can be slippery at times and I could use non-slip soles which were not listed in the description for the boots ( my neglect ). I'm not sure if Muck Boots has any non-slip sole boots in their line up, I didn't see any. But still overall seems to be a good boot. Sincerely Steve Williams from Clark Fork , Idaho
First off, not sure what differentiates the chore cool model boot from the chore because these are just like any other hot, sticky, unbreathable boot. These are also built with so much room in the foot that they move on your foot with every step. I even tried to downsize- to the point that my foot was too long in the boot- and way too much room (even with my wide feet). I don't recommend Muck boots to anyone looking for daily comfort, as these are in no way comfortable.
The heel inside the boot has lost its fabric after 30 days. It's got a hard plastic piece the rubs my socks and now I have a blister.
Definitely a quality boot.i'm definitely going to put them through hell because it's always muddy where I work. In fact we're purveyors of it. Very comfortable.
We love the chore boot they are very comfortable and what problems we have had you guys replace them no questions asked.
I work in a ethanol plant as a material handler. These have seen the rail yard corn pits steel catwalks you name it. In the winter every guy in my dept switches over to these for a reason. Keeps feet warm dry and they last and that's exactly what I asked of them. Its July now so their put away in my locker but their ready to go next winter
I have been using these boots for work for years. They are sturdy and as for safety you can't get any better.
Great work boot. I work in a dirt truck yard. When it rains its muddy. When it's cold I'm warm and dry. However I wish you made a composite toe mid boot.
I got them for my grandson who works as a tree cutter.he states they are the best boots he ever had .fit was great.
I do have big calves so the width is small overall the boot well made and comfortable
Have no problems with these boots. They fit nice and don't rub on my husband's heel. Would buy again
Had to purchase my husband another pair... after about 8 years of use in his first ones! :scream: love these boots!
I'm not one to spend money on myself. But these boots are hands down the best boots that I've ever bought myself, dare I say, the best thing I've ever bought? Because I love them. I recently bought my son a pair and my brother a pair. Thank you for making an incredible, dependable, any-situation boot for all genders and ages!
I had to come on here to write a review, bc ive never had any boots last like these. In August of 2016 I started working in deep mud and clay on a drill rig, doing massive amounts of walking and heavy work. I noticed all the veterans had muck brand boots, and swore by them. So I went to dicks sporting goods, and bought the only kind they had left, the arctic sports. A mistake, I quickly found out, to wear in August.. but winter would be here soon, so I kept them and ordered the chore st ones online. Let me just say over the last two and a half years I have put these boots through hell. I use them on demo jobs, even when muck boots aren't necessary, bc they are just so comfortable too. They have lasted fabulously, and I mean ive never had a single issue with either pair. I punctuated the chores with a small piece of rebar one time and I used a tire patch on it, and it still is working great. That was a year ago. I just really love these boots. We did an excavation job for a new hospital in philly, and I found myself trudging through a foot deep mud and icey water every day in February, and the arctic sports keep you so warm its insane. Anyway, thank you muck boots for putting out such a great product. Ive literally never had boots last this long. Will definitely be buying more of these until I retire.
I have invested in Muck a-lot lately, and they have not let me down. I go icefishing with the thinnest socks on, and my feet stay super warm! They are super sturdy, light, and comfortable, totally worth 5 stars and investing in this company.
I've been very impressed on how this boot has held up. I will definitely buy them again.
I work in a chemical environment and these boots exceed the durability of any boots I have purchased in the past. I would highly suggest purchasing these boots.
Waterproof, inside sole comes out easily...wouldn't recommend
Have bought other brands and they are not even close to the all around quality of MUCK BOOTS, everything is right, not to big not to small very comfortable, you get what you want,
I get that they are warm and all but this is probably the worst boot I've ever owned my feet don't stay dry even if I'm working in the shop they some how manage to get wet they're junk and don't recommend them to anyone I've had them for less than a month and wish I could get my money back
Overall great quality. Couldn't find the right size(10) online or in stores. Settled for size 9 bought at local vendor due to needing the boots on short notice for work.
Boots feel amazing and I love them , although I wear a size 10 in regular boots I thought they'd be the same , I probably should have gotten a 9 instead because they are to big
It's so hard to find steel toe boots for women, especially when you are looking for a certain style. These fit perfect! Just wish they had them listed under the women's section online also or included women's sizes listed online.
I wear a woman's 7 1/2, and purchased a men's size 6. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
I'm going to order MORE
THANKYOU!!!!!!

The boots are great for warm dry feet. Probably the best I've ever owned for those two things specifically. But something must be done about the bottoms of the boots. This is my third pair. I keep coming back for the warmth and the dry feet. But they only last about four months due to the harsh rocks and things that we walk on out in the field. The rubber on the bottom always splits and then they start leaking. No good. You make such a great boot. Couldn't you make the bottom out of something a little stronger? Just think about it. Other than the bottoms being soft as jello I have no other complaints. Love the boots and will keep wasting my money on them until you make a better bottom. Thank you.
Worked outside for 6 years and this is the first winter I dont worry about cold feet
Great boots for my job running a hydro vac keeps my feet dry while working in very wet and muddy conditions. I'd recommend this boot to anyone who works in the mud.
