The Quick Duck Jefferson Active Jacket features:

Hands down the best coat I ever owned, I had to get a mens because the women's coats don't fit in the places I needed to fit...
The Quick Duck Jefferson Active Jacket is my favorite piece of outerwear. This jacket is comfortable and not too bulky. It's great for almost all outdoor activities. While not considered "rain wear" this jacket does a nice job of keeping you dry in a light rain and warm in a stiff wind.

The fit of the jacket is "athletic" - by that I mean not too bulky or baggy like some winter coats can be. My favorite feature of this jacket is the classic yet stylish look. It's not flashy but let's face it - if you're shopping here you're probably not looking for flashy. This jacket fits in just as well on the town as it does on the farm and can be worn with "dressier" clothes or casual wear.

Like all my favorite Carhartt gear it wears well and has a small break in period. The edges of the fabric around the cuffs and zipper have that slightly faded worn look that gives it nice character. Not unpleasant or tacky.

Living in the ever-changing weather of the Midwest where we can see a 60 day followed by 6 inches of snow this jacket has great versatility and I wear it from fall to spring.

Overall this jacket is a home run and a very solid offering from Carhartt. If you are looking for a everyday jacket you can't go wrong with the Jefferson Active Jacket.
Long lasting and warm!
Great quality. Looks great. Another Carhartt sure shot.
Great jacket! Use it for work
Nice jacket, very warm. Haven't been in the rain yet. One issue thought is I wish the sleeves were a bit longer. I normally like a bit of overhang past my wrist. I think they feel a bit too short but not enough to return.
I wish you would offer this jacket with a snap on hood so you can take it off when not in use. I also have your Quick Duck Jefferson Traditional Jacket and your Quick Duck Jefferson Vest and they keep me warm throughout all of Wisconsin winters. Please consider offering this jacket with a snap on hood in the future.
It works so well!
I'm a stevedore, working on the dock in the cold... this jacket is amazing!
Warm and lightweight with the exception of the zipper, which requires some strength to losend from the bottom. Preferably an XS size if were available.
Great jacket it’s my second one my old one lasted me 5 years.
my husband and his team love this jacket! keeps you warm and you can move around while working! very nice appearance and fits perfect .
Perfect fit, not too heavy, but very warm, blocks wind. Perfect in wet weather.
Highly recommended this jacket. Lightweight, wind proof, keeps you warm throughout the day. I thought it will be bulky but it’s not. Super flexible and well worth the money. Stay true to size. I accidentally bought a XL tall thinking that it was going to be to short on the sleeves and waist but it ended be a tad bit to big. Excellent product will forever be a regular customer at carhartt.
Great all around jacket. Extremely warm yet light, water proof and very flexible which is surprising being that Carhartt jackets are normally stiff. Very comfortable, and handy with its many pockets. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a quality winter jacket.
Good fit, lightweight but very warm and durable. Only problem is the zipper gets stuck towards bottom, inside seam. Without zipper issue, jacket would get five stars.
Had to return Christmas present for my son. It was to small. Haven't seen credit back yet after next day expressed return to carhart more than 2 wks ago. Wanted to reorder larger size of same style. My son loved the jacket and style , just need a medium.!i hope style still is available.
It was a gift for my husband. It is a warm and well-designed jacket. He loves it a lot.
This is a awesome jacket. Not to bulky and has great mobility. Also is very warm.
I wouldn't expect anything less from a reputable company such as Carhartt. So far, it's just what I was looking for. Solid design, fits well, and seems very durable. It's not a super thick jacket, but there's enough room I can layer up and stay warm and dry when it gets below the 20's. I really like the canyon brown color and for the price I think it's a great jacket. Most work jackets are way overpriced. Good job Carhartt.
Yes recommend this to anyone
This is the 2nd jacket that I bought my husband! He wanted one for work and one to clean up ! They are identical but he can't say enough about them. I have been buying carhartt for 40 years for all the guys in the family and I have never been disappointed!!!
Got these for delevery drivers, great jacket reasonable cost.
Great jacket for snow and rain...I'd recommend tall sizes. Never got my $20 in Carhartt bucks during promotion tho.
Excellent product. Although the water repellency wears off over time scotch guard brings it back to life.
After 4yrs of working outdoors in the SW this jacket has impressed me, great for wearing layers and on it's own. The only reason I bought a new one is the sun had turned it from black to dark grey. I had to contact carhartt to find out the replacement for my original style number, (btw they were very friendly and helpful) and I think I'm going to order a second one in case they decide to discontinue it. Truly one of the best jackets I've ever owned.
Good jacket keeps you dry and warm and good in windy conditions.
Fits perfectly, looks good, and is extremely warm, considering it's light weight.
The warmth comes from the Thinsulate insulation.
Ii got this jacket for work I am on and out of the weather all day. I was in the rain for no more than 10 minutes and water soaked through the jacket. No happy at all when I think of something as water repellent I think the water will roll right off not soak in
ive had this jacket/ coat for about 3 years going on 4 now. very durable, very comfortable, and it keeps my stick figure self warm during the two cold months we have in Louisiana. the only complaint I have is that its not available in camo (hint hint)
I bought this jacket because I liked the rugged material and the water repellent fabric. I wear it every day. So far I am impressed with the comfort and durable fabric. If it last as long as I expect I be highly satisfied.
The guys at work wanted to order these and one of our girls ended up taking one because she liked them so much. Always great quality.
I have another carhartt jacket that fits perfect as an xl, so I bought this one in an xl hoping for the same fit but it fits a bit smaller than the other one. I went back to try the XXL but it was too big.
You cannot zip it up all the way up under the chin , to seal the heat in and keep the cold out, poorly designed, it seems like nowadays when I try Carhartt jackets on each one feels like it's a different size,I've been using Carhartt products I think for 40 years I have become very disappointed in the product here lately

All the jackets in the store were made the same way short zipper, I would love to have one these jackets but it's poorly designed, please wake up carhartt
If you need my help feel free to send me an email, I started out with an old blanket jacket
The bottom band around the waist is always up My back.!! Besides that it runs small. I get a lot of wrong fitting sizes with carhartt these days . Bought 2 exact same set of bibs .?? One is huge around the legs the other not .
I like the coat warn in -1 below wind chill. I was looking for a warm nice looking coat for winter Carhartt products are the best.
This coat is good but needs improvement. It is the best coat like it I could find.
If you zip the coat all the way up to keep the wind out There's not enough room for you chin if you tuck your chin in the collar. If you have your chin above the collar it chafes your chin. Redesign in that area would help.
The draw string on the hood doesn't work well If you adjust the hood the beads used to keep the paracord from slipping don't hold.
A strap or flap to cover the chin and mouth and close up the hood a bit when really cold or windy would help.
I am glad I bought the coat it is the best like it I could find and would recommend it.
I was looking for a new work jacket to replace my old trusty sandstone active jacket and really liked the look and feel of this jacket. I have a quick duck Jefferson traditional jacket that I wear as a non work "good" jacket and I really like it so I thought I couldn't go wrong with this one. I work construction and work the majority of the time with my hands above my head which is where my problem is with this jacket. I have yet to wear this to work but have been wearing around my farm doing my daily chores and every time I raise my hands or bend over and reach down the bottom of the jacket rides up to nearly my chest and stays there. It's not a fit problem, it fits great if I'm just standing around. I feel like the elastic in the waist band may be way too tight, if it were not the bottom would at least slide back down after it lifted. I really don't see me being able to wear this at work especially on colder days due to the fact that I can only wear it comfortably with it completely unzipped. I love Carhartt products and have had nothing else for the 25 years I have been working but I am very disappointed with this jacket and many of the newer products seem like you can never get 2 that fit the same.
This jacket is NOT water proof. It's not marketed as one. It's water REPELLENT. I work in a warehouse where occasionally I need to unload a truck on a forklift in the rain. Which usually means less than 5 minutes. For that kind of exposure to rain this jacket is perfect. If I had to work maybe on roofs or out in the field where I'd be outside for extended periods, this would probably not be the best jacket for me. I am on my feet in a very physical, fast paced wood shop for 10-12 hours a day. This jacket is BULKY. If you are a medium(38" chest,32"waist), you should get a small. I couldn't adjust the fit scale on my phone for some reason. That's probably the only thing bad about this jacket. It's marketed as an "active" jacket but the fit is bulky.
I've had this jacket for about 2 months. I tend to get holes in my work shirts and various abrasions from tools, sharp materials like melamine, laminates, and rough materials like granite sometimes. The only signs of serious wear I see is the little carhartt patch on the front is starting to come off at the sides. I give it maybe another 2 months before it finally falls off.
The pockets are outstandingly convenient, this jacket is very comfy and very very warm.
But in Houston it only gets down to around 30-32 degrees at its coldest. Normally at around 40-50 degrees.
I just recently purchased a second one of these Jefferson active jackets. They fit great, are extremely comfortable and warm, and can withstand the toughest of climates and working conditions. Highly recommend!
My friend has the same quickduck in large and his fits better than mine which is a large too. Im hoping it will stretch out and break in like a new pair of jeans
At first, I thought this jacket was the greatest thing since sliced bread. When in the rain, the water just SLID off of it, and I was way impressed.

After a little over a month, it started soaking in during rain. Now I do NOT spend time out in the weather. I'm talking walking from my workplace to my vehicle. Today, I had to scrape ice of my truck windshield. The outer shell of the jacket was SOAKING WET after a little over five minutes of being in the weather. And this made me extremely cold. I would expect much much more out of Carhartt. Very disappointed.
Hands down the best coat I ever owned, I had to get a mens because the women's coats don't fit in the places I needed to fit...
