The Artic Quilt Lined Duck Traditional Jacket features:
Closeout items are final sale.
Gave this to my husband as a gift and he hasn’t taken it off. Time for another. You can’t beat these for durability.
Extremely warm yet short enough for access for bags.
The jacket I ordered for my dad fits perfectly. He usually wears a medium tall but I ordered a regular medium because I have found in the past that Carhartt seems to run a little big.
a good buy and I recommend this item. It is warm!
There's not enough jacket . Fits just fine, but raise your arms above your head and you have cold wind up to arm pits. Nothing in the neck, so you'll need a scarf,. Stiff as a board, and feels like it weIghs 80 pounds. Cuffs don't keep out wind either. Bought at a local farm store, returned it a week later.
Very comfortable Jacket
Amazing work jacket.... holding up really well in the weather
He likes the jacket and they are easier to wear in the truck
Always liked the carhartt jackets. I recommend it to any person that works outdoors. I do wish the jacket was more waterproof though.
Very nice fast shipping and fast return
Does not fit as expected. The fit guide was incorrect. I usually wear a medium to a large in some brands. A medium fit like an XL.
I have had two of these same coats. I work construction, Concrete, steel tying, and lay underground pipe. I also have a cattle ranch. This coat does a lot of work. The first one lasted 15 years. I eventually caught it on fire while using it to put out a grass fire. I am still wearing the second one. Have had it for about 12 years now. They are warm and extremely durable. Could not ask for better.
Duck traditional jacket - winter weight! The fit was perfect for 6 foot, 210 lbs, 46 inch chest - XL - arms were the correct length and the jacket is cut to allow a good range of arm motion and there is room for layering when the weather gets to the -20 F and lower range. We have already had a couple of days of snow and rain and the jacket has been warm and dry. I would recommend this jacket to others.
This is a great coat but can be hard to gauge size. Roomy arms and shoulders, short body which is why I like this coat. Would love to see with blanket lining. Good for the broad shouldered among us!
I have been buying carhartt coats for 25 years. from light coats for spring to arctic coats and insulated coveralls. I work for a Public Works department in ILL. and almost all of us wear your product because they work. One thing --- You should make the coats with Arctic lining in your women's line. Women work outside in the winter too.
Solid work coat quality. Runs too large. I sent it back.
Great fit. Great quality
ordered a tall but was still too short
This is a awesome jacket. Classic carharrt! Vert warm and well made. No matter what the weather..this is my go to.
Great long lasting “everyday” work jacket. I’m on my 2nd jacket in 12 years!
I had a similar jacket that was about 8 years old. it was really starting to fall apart. it was an artic lined one as well. I am so very pleased with my Carhartt gear. I also have an artic set of coveralls.
I had an Arctic Black Lined Jacket years ago. I could not find them in stores around me anymore. I went on line and found the jacket I wanted. The Jacket is exactly what I wanted. Its Warm, Comfortable, and you have room in the jacket to move around to complete the work you need to do. I also got the hood to go with the Jacket in case I forget a hat...
the crew loves their jackets
The product was good- service was great! No complaints!
I'm a truck drive and it gets cold up north when I have to deliver my loads. This Jacket is just what I needed to keep warm in negative degree weather.
This is a nice warm jacket. I went looking to replace a prewashed version of this same jacket that had lasted 10 years. I found that the prewashed version had been discontinued. Other than being a little stiff I love it. I'm sure it will loosen up after a few washes.
Excellent jacket just sleeves run big
Perfect fit and quality price
Sizing is terrible. Bought it for husband who is 5'8" and 180lbs and was huge on him. I would never buy again and we (both) have always loved this brand. Very disappointed! Had to send back!
They are all they are cracked up to be. 2 one of them. #1 got taken by my son.
I have purchased Carhartt jackets and coats for the past 30 years and have always been pleased with your products. I still have the first coat that I bought from the Carhartt line, it is still in pretty decent condition and is still my favorite. I have also purchased several jackets for my grandson over the past years, he got his first one when he was three. He is now ten, going on eleven, and I just purchased him a new one also, on my last recent order. For myself, I really liked the the sandstone traditional jacket compared to the duck traditional jacket, mostly for its softness and flexibility and a greater selection of colours. For some reason Carhartt decided to discontinue this sandstone jacket, so now the only choice left for me in this style is the duck traditional jacket. I have always ordered the same size as well which is a medium, regular fit in the sandstone model, but the duck one seems to be large for the same size. I would be very pleased to see the sandstone model back in production. The kids or youth model you had in the coat style, without a waistband, was also a favorite with my grandson, but now all that is left is the bomber style jacket with the hood. The fit seems to be okay but the kitted waist band is far below his waist and he is not a short youth. Since Carhartt has decided to manufacture a lot of the items outside of the U.S. the products do not seem to be quite as well made as they once were. I will continue to buy Carhartt products but I would really like you to consider bringing back the sandstone traditional jacket.
I am 5â??-8â?? tall, 220, and fairly muscular. The fit is perfect for me and since there is no hood, it doesnâ??t interfere wit wearing a cowboy hat. The sleeves have enough room that you can put the jacket on and it doesnâ??t grab your shirt sleeves and drag them up to your arm pits. The cost is still pretty stiff but once it softens up from wearing it I think it is going to be my favorite jacket. I bough a large regular.
I have used carhart for years, for the durability and warmth, as far as I am concerned there is no equal
If you are very overweight, the fit should not be a problem. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs and this this makes me look funny. I think they made it this way to accommodate extra layers underneath, but they went overboard, way overboard. If I need that many layers, then the jacket is not doing its job. I bought this to avoid needing 15 layers.
The jacket fit great but it does look bulky when wearing it. I don't think looks are that big a deal out in the field.
Husband has always had a Carhartt, so was thrilled to get a new one when he old one of 20 years wore out!
It was convincing him it was time to retire his old friend I'm sure they will get to know each other in due time
Would highly recommend it. Best thing about it is it keeps him warm.
I liked this jacket so much the first time that I bought it again! Strong, durable utility coat for any type of work yet, stylish and comfortable for casual wear.

The one thing that I would caution is that the size on THIS particular coat runs large. I normally wear an XL (my other 2 Carhartt jackets are XL) but, when I ordered this "model" in XL, I ended up returning it and reordering it in Large. I don't know understand why this jacket runs big but...it does.

With that said, outstanding jacket, outstanding quality, extremely satisfied, would definately recommend this jacket to anyone.

Also, I would just like to add that Carhartt has the best customer service. If you have any problem whatsoever, don't waste a second worrying about it. They will take care of it promptly. I look forward to doing more buisiness with Carhartt in the future.
Great jacket! This is my 3rd one of this style. Perfect for tradesman because it doesn't cover your tools in an utility belt or in your pockets. This jacket takes a beating. Highly recommended.
First and foremost, this is an excellent quality jacket. Makes you look huge; a positive if that's what you are looking for. I feel like I'm in a big cardboard box or the Michelin Man in mine, but boy is it ever warm!
I would like to start by saying, Carhart jackets are built to last! I have become a fan
I would definitely recommend this product. My husband says it's the warmest jacket that he has ever worn.
Have always loved my Carhartt jacket and after 27yrs its time that it needs to be replaced, after going to the store to buy a new one, which I couldn't wait to get another one because I loved the first one so much, I noticed that they had no jackets that were made with tailored sizing anymore, I tried the small on and was way too big, thinking maybe I had a med. instead and was mislabeled so I tried another small on, same thing, was and am so disappointed that they got rid of the tailored sizes, my old one which is falling apart now fits great! So now I'm forced to go looking else where for a jacket that will fit, when I got home I even went by their sizing chart to see what that came up with and that says that a small would fit, well, it sure doesnt fit me at all! Carhartt, what a shame, you had to change sizing on these great jackets..
fits nicely, looks great, and is functional and durable.
I have had this coat in the past and i still love this coat.
I too miss the tailored sizes. Now I'm between sizes. I just had to replace my coat. Quality is on par with my old coat. I still love the coat but without the tailored size its not the same.

Carhartt, I know why you went this route but please being back the tailored sizes. Please!
As another reviewer recently posted Carhartt seems to have moved away from the tailored sizing that they offered, thus the products don't fit as well but are still of excellent quality. Over the years I've worn everything between a 40 Long to a 48 Long. Recently I've lost a lot of weight and went looking to replace my now very large 48 Long jacket. The first thing I have noticed is that it is near impossible to find this traditional style in stores (North Central Texas) and they of course have done away with the tailored sizes. At this time I would say I am probably a Medium Tall but that coat does not exist, a Large Tall is a little big. I am dissapointed by the new sizing, but once I can find one that fits I will still buy it. One of my favorite things about this traditional coat was the fact that they don't need hangers when new. Just set them on the floor and they will stand up under their own starch level. Very practical.
I've been wearing these jackets for 25 years and have always loved them.

The good - new inside pockets, love them.
The bad - when did Carhartt drop their sizing and go to s-m-l, etc? I've worn a 42 regular forever and they fit great. Now a medium is too small and a large is a little big, not the great fit I was used to. Disappointing.
Always wanted one and now that I have one it's just pure satisfaction!
It's a Carhartt, what else needs to be said? Last one is over a decade old, still in use!
this is a great jacket, im only writing a review for one reason, and thats because i think this jacket is amazing BUT there are only 2 changes id make, 1. instead of velcro on the outside flap could you make metal snaps instead? and also the inside lining is nice but it rips faster then some, my favorite jacket you have made thus far is unfortunately discontinued which is the dearborn sherpa jacket. everything except for the velcro was PERFECT i love the sherpa lining, its by far your best inside lining. also the reallyr durable zippers. i am a little disapointed in the sherpa lined vest zipper though its not as strong as the jacket zipper, ive had 2 break on me in 2years and id really appreciate something a little more tough. thank you for reading
Very warm... well made exterior but too bulky in the arms and a little too short. Ends just above my waist line. Probably should have went with the longer "coat" version but that was twice the price:( NOTE: This jacket is very stiff (as expected) so I tried to wash and dry it in the machine. Bad idea; the inside burned a little and ripped. Now I have a hole in my new jacket and haven't even worked in it yet!
I have owned what must be one of the original carhartts and it has been passed down from my grandpa and it is still in great shape and still warm. Unfortunately my old one has seen its better days and worn only for house chores but the new one is amazing. It is very maneuverable and the material is very giving so you don't feel like you're in a straight jacket when you're trying to work in it. I recommend buying this not only for yourself but for your kids and their kids when they are ready to work hard in a tough jacket.
When I put on this jacket in the morning I feel like I am ready to work. This is the toughest jacket I have ever owned. I wear it everyday that I can and it has not let me down yet. But that is what you get with Carhartt products, relentless quality. thanks Carhartt!
This jacket was bought for my son and it has become his new best friend, he just loves it. Not only does it keep him warm but he also likes the look.
Another great Carhartt purchase. I ware mine fore everything from going on rescue calls for my local fire department to working in the machine shop and farm, to riding horses.

Thank you Carhartt for another great product
I have always thought this was the coolest Carhartt jacket of all. Bought one 3 years ago and love it. Of the 5 Carhartt jackets I own, this one is my favorite one. I love the arctic lining, it is so comfortable and warm. I use this jacket for every day use when it is cold outside. Arctic lining can't be beat on cold, windy days.
I just got my new jacket and had to use it for a snow storm that we just had. It keeps you so warm and lets no wind in with the wrist cuffs and the flap in front over the zipper. I would never get any other jacket that is not carhartt. I plan to get this jacket again and again.
VERY WARM I YSE IT WITH MY INSULATED BIB COVERALLS THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD MAKE IT BETTER IS IF IT HAD A POCKET ON THE SLEEVE OR CHEST FOR PENS. I WORK OUTSIDE AND HAVE TO WRITE ALOT AND IT A LITTLE AGGREVATING HAVING TO UNZIP TO GET A PEN OUT.
I ride a motorcycle, the hiden cuffs keep the wind out and the warmth in. Great wind resistance, and warm. I wear this jacket year round, I've had this jacket for two years and its still the only jacket I where.
Thanks!!
I purchased this as a replacement for a jacket form another brand and was overly satisfied immediately after trying it on. The only criticism I have is that the zipper handle snapped off within a week of use.
The fact that this jacket comes in coat sizes (example; I wear a 48) makes this one of the best fitting jackets made, PERIOD. I am comparing it to other jackets that cost 3 to 4 times more. It has just enough insulation to keep you warm over a range of tempuratures without being too warm.
Buying a Carhartt product is always a guarantee of good quality and durability.
I received this jacket for Christmas from my wife. I wanted a quality jacket that would look good and keep me warm. This jacket fits all my criteria and much more. I will never buy another jacket other than a carartt.
Gave this to my husband as a gift and he hasn’t taken it off. Time for another. You can’t beat these for durability.
