The Artic Quilt Lined Duck Bib Overall features:
Closeout items are final sale.
I bought this pair of bibs last year for snow removal and I firmly believe I will never need another pair of bibs ever. I love these bibs because as they are warm they are also comfortable and durable to wear during construction during the winter. If they do get saturated in water they are a little hard to dry but other than that I am in love!
Perfect for outdoor work, i wear in the snow and have had no issues plowing and shoveling.
First time buyer and I love these. So far been out in 12 degree weather with a 25 mile an hour wind and I stay nice and toasty. Would recommend Didn’t read that I should order a size bigger than my waist if I was wearing jeans underneath. Had to send first pair back and ordered next size. Fit great. Only thing is I wish they wouldn’t have changed the clasp
They fit right. And they feel good.
I have always worn Carhartt Bibs because they are the toughest out there. Being made in the USA just makes them better.
Love them. Super warm and comfortable.
It was too big we need a 26 waist
Great product highly recommend
It fit perfectly.
Great high quality work wear that is true to fit yet has enough room to work in.
Amazing bibs that withstands all sorts of abuse, extremely happy with my purchase! easy to maintain and keep clean as well!
Good product. The legs are bulky due to it being arctic lined. But true to size maybe a touch long.
Very warm great for cold weather.
There great and tough keeps me warm in the cold conditions.
Very nice. Fit well. Fast shipping
I've finally retired these bibs after 3 winters of 5 days a week in crawlspaces and gravel equipment rooms. (I am extremely hard on bibs, probably doing things the "legal" guys would call negligence and industrial use.)
The first to go were the sides of the knees, then the bottom seams. This was the first set that the backside didnt split out. I have been buying bibs yearly until finally going to these Carhartt brand bibs 3 years ago. They lasted 3 times the ones from the local big box store. I will be getting a couple more for this winter and hopefully swapping between 2 different pairs can extend the life even more.
Bibs are great for working outside. After couple washes they loosen up.
Nothing else compares to the Artic lining, I have never gotten cold in subzero temps.
Awesome good fit and happy with my purchase.
I love my carhartt overall. Keeps me warm working outside. Feel good to work in.
Super well done! Fit is perfect, warm and moves with you! Durable and comfortable. Delivered fast! Well done Carhartt.
Incredible quality, per usual.
Carhartt is the best outdoor wear, I'm not so much into name brands but there is a huge difference in carhartt and other brands in quality great fitting and comfortable, ordered online ,super fast shipping,
These are great, I wish I got pair sooner. Great for choring when weather is - degree.
I bought these last winter and I liked them
Great product
Exactly what my husband wanted, perfect fit.
They fit really good and are extremely warm an comfortable.
They were a late present for my son that works outdoors in the winter. He said they are the best, fit very good, and keeps him very warm when it is very cold weather.
If I followed the size chart the first time I wouldn’t have had to send the first pair back. The second pair is perfect!
Very comfortable and warm
Very warm! Leg openings are a little large and could be a little more fitting. Even with an insulated boot the pant leg is baggy. Shipping was extremely slow from the carhartt side. Shopping online is all about free shipping that is no more than 3 days in transit these days.
Bought for son-in-law. He gave me 34 length inseam, 1-2 inches too long but didn't want to return it. Tried to exchange it locally, but was told not able to. He said he would adjust it, roll up legs, etc. Does love it though working out in the elements, roofing.
Our nonprofit organization, Quota International of Iosco County, donated 5 bib overalls to the Building Trades Classroom in our County. They absolutely are thrilled to receive them. They will use them over their clothes whenever they are working on the first house they are building. This winter weather has been a challenge for the classroom and now the Carhartt bibs will keep the students warm while they are outside working on the project.
Arrived on time, fit is great. Nothing to complain about so far. Highly recommend Carhartt
Very comfortable fit true to size I would recommend them to anyone
Fits perfectly, warm and rugged. Absolutely love it
These bibs are amazing everything I was expecting. In the past I have had the R41, 2 years ago I bought a new pair of R27 they are very good bibs I have been wanting a pair of R03 since after I bought them and now I have an extra pair of bibs to fall back on if need be. These bibs are super warm and most importantly “MADE IN THE U.S.A.”. Bib wise all I wear is Carhartt anything I have ever own is Carhartt they are built to last. You will not be disappointed. They fit perfectly to size I wear a 30/32 I bought a 32/32 they Are just right. In the R27 I bought a 32/32 as well they fit perfect. Thank you Carhartt!
very strong made pair of bib that I have ever wore
Great value for the price.
They fit and feel great. Would recommend these to anyone.
I really likes the bib overalls, I will buy again, this is my 2nd pair, I live in them during the winter months.
Good quality except I will be returning them and ordering a much larger size. I ordered a size larger than my pant size and they are still way to small.
You can’t get better than these and they last a lifetime.
I bought them for husbandHe loves them
They’re too big
Very comfortable, durable, and warm. I wear sweatpants underneath so I got 3 sizes up than I normally wear and it fits perfectly.
Best bibs hands down. Keeps you warm and last a lifetime. Had mine for 15 years and wear at work (electrician), skiing, football games, and outdoors activities. I usually wear a 32" pant inseam but wear a 30" in bibs so they don't drag on the floor. If Carhartt added a protective strip at the bottom cuff that would be a homer. Zippers up to knee a huge help getting on/off with boots.
You won't be disappointed with these bibs.
Great quality, super warm. A bit on the small side. I am a 34 waist in pants , and I ordered a 36 to have some extra room. They turned out to be too small and I had to buy a 38. Still a bit on the tight side but are wearable. Don’t want to go through the hassle of returning a second pair, so I will just try to lose a little weight.
These are rugged and fit will. Very warm. Last night was in the negatives and was nice and warm walking the dogs. My only complaints are. First I’m not a fan of the way the shoulder straps attach on the front. Second is I wish they would offer this level of insulation with a waist length zipper. Would stop me from having to remove my boots to put them on. Other than that they are perfect.
love that they are made in usa...should have got a couple sizes bigger but great product my last pare is 20 years old
I've always wore Carhartt clothing for outside work in Michigan and once again these bibs work great I'm glad I went the extra and got the artic lining .My only complaint about the brown duck line is its stiff and takes a while to break in but once it gets broke in its great .we are currently experiencing -15 degree temps and winds close to 20 mph and these bibs are performing great
awsome
I recently bought a home with a wood burner, so I bought all the gear chainsaw, wood splitter and some Carhartt insulated bib overalls . I was cutting a tree down and hit my leg with the chainsaw and believe it or not the coveralls saved me a lot of pain because they stopped the chainsaw from hitting my flesh. It tore up my new coveralls so I contacted Carhartt to by a patch and Carhartt took my info and they are sending me a patch free of charge. The bottom line is Carhartt makes an awesome set of coveralls and an even better costumer support. Thanks again W. Norris
Great quality but I wish they would come in a 26" inseam.
SUPER HOT. PERFECT FOR THIS BONE CHILLIN OKLAHOMA WEATHER
Great fit and great comfort in really cold temps. Well made - will buy another pair in 10 years when/ if these wear out.
Love the bibs but strap buckle broke a few uses in at the seem by pocket frist time ever seen that had many bibs never had that happen
These overalls insulate from the cold very well. Material seems quite durable. Fit is good.
Received very quickly. Fit was great. Grandson loves them. He needed them for his work in construction
Very warm and it fits good for the size I wear.
My Dad loves them.
Order as Christmas gift for my husband and ordered the same size jean he normally wears - they were too small - easy return - my account was credited - received email updates - they do not exchange so we had to return and reorder a new pair - I reordered 2 sizes bigger than his jeans so he would have room - wore them to work outside pumping gas today temp was 29 degrees and he said they were really comfortable and warm. Would recommend.
The carhart quality is still the same as it has been for years
I like them beacause their light weight and they keep me super warm
I used the Arctic Bib Overalls on a recent trip to North Dakota, where I spend several days outdoors in sub-zero weather. The overalls kept me warm at all times as I operated large equipment.
Gave to my son for a Christmas gift! He loves them! My order came quickly and was informed of every step of the shipping process until delivered. Glad I ordered directly from Carhartt!
I bought these for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them ... Next time i get us overalls im going a size up for some extra clothes room.
I love everything Carhartt!
These overalls have already proven their worth, and from look and feel they will last a very long time. They are warm and surprisingly comfortable and easy to move around in for bring such a heavy material. Very impressed and satisfied with my purchase!
Warm and very comfortable to wear
Fit well and look good.
Great product. I enjoy the fit and warmth.
Perfect exactly what I wanted and needed!
Didn’t fit. We returned them yesterday
2nd pair fits great - keeps me warm and comfortable without bulk
Warm, durable, good pockets. Order extra in the width/waist and less in the length/inseam. Extra waste for mobility, keeping in short saves the cuff on the bibs

Only complaint is the stupid latch for the suspenders, it works and holds great but is a hassle to do and undo. I room for improvement.
The bib overalls were excellent quality but unfortunately had to be returned because they were too small. I ordered them as a gift for my husband and followed the ordering instructions which were to enter his waist size and length and the company would ship the correct size. However, most men wear clothes under the overalls so the website should offer two sizings, one for a true fit and one for over clothes.
They have threading issues, the only reason I didn’t return them was your horrid return policy. I thought better of these products but I was proven wrong!
The waist was a bit snug. We returned the bibs for a size larger. The quality was excellent. We highly recommend it.
It was a great hit for Christmas my son loved them! He works outside alit at his job! Aye they are really warm
The fit scale won't allow me to rate, but it does fit true to size!
Great quality, but not sized as advertised.
Great pants, warm and comfortable
I returned them because they were to Small.
Fits great.
Great...that's why we always buy carhartt??
My husband did not like the new red lining. He has always worn the thinner lined Carhartt Bib Overalls. They were returned. Please bring back the old lining.
I absolutely love these bibs. They are warm and look great! However I wish the chest had some type of thermal lining. I hope the coats are as nice as the bibs!
Very warm but did not have snaps at bottom of legs to keep zippers lockdown
My boyfriend wears these for work in the winter, he never complains about being cold!!
Just got the wrong size
It does the job that needs to done, it keeps you warm and dry.
Son loves them
Fit was spot on. Very warm and comfortable.
Perfect. Exactly what I needed, this is my second pair after my first ones gave all they had after 8yrs.
Well built, they will take a hard days work, plus they are very warm
Bought these for my husband to wear at work. He works outside all day in the northern MN cold and wind at a feedlot. Keeps him warm most days. We get him a size larger than he would normally wear so that on the really cold days he can wear sweatpants over his long johns and and an extra sweatshirt underneath these bibs and still stay warm. They are constructed exceptionally well and hold up really good for him.
Wish you had more clothing made here UNION made
These run true to size, durable and warm. Bought them for my son, he loves them.
Having to Constantly work outside during the winter months this Bib Overall has kept me warm, and works well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy way to stay warm without having to put on many layers of close.
Very satisfied with quality and fast delivery! What I'd like to see is the artic lined with the zip to the hip. It would be alot easier getting in and out of.
I'm a woman, 5'7" tall, 125 pounds, 27" waist, and typically wear Carhartt women's size small or size 4. These fit great in size 32" waist x 30" inseam over a sweatshirt and jeans. Shoulder buckles are annoying to clasp and lower pant legs are quite wide. Otherwise these bibs are perfect. I don't see any difference in cut between these men's bibs and my other Carhartt women's bibs.

My husband is 5'10", 195 pounds, 35" waist, and wears these in 38" waist x 32" inseam (perfect fit over regular clothes). Advice to size up 2 waist sizes is accurate. Bonus that these are made in the USA.
very happy with the sizing of the quilted bibbs used there on line sizing app and it worked great i was able to get the size i needed
Quality construction, personal fit matches that requested from size chart, plenty warm even when wind chill quite brisk.
Great product
I love my duck bib. I’ve always wanted one and finally decided to get one for the winters.
Great costumer service
I have previously owned the Carhartt lined bibs and they wear very well so that's why I ordered another pair.
The size was correct. I loved it, just what I wanted. Thank you.
Great stuff very warm
Best overalls you can buy! I’m ready for winter. As an electrician,I work in all types of weather conditions. These have never failed to keep me warm. They are extremely well built and very durable. The part that I like best is that they are American made!
Got it delivered to the carhartt store in 3 days
Perfect for ice fishing
I’ve been wearing Carhatts my whole life. You just cannot beat the quality.
Everything I could’ve asked for!
Great product made in USA
I've been wanting these for a long time, a lot I my buddies have em and swear by them. Finally got to try them out on a cold wet motorcycle trip, they're worth every penny plus! Kept me warm and dry all day, money well spent!
I've had mine for almost 10 years and though they are not 0 as warm as when I got them, they still do the job very well. With all of the abuse they've gotten nothing has failed, not a button, snap or zipper has ever given me problems.
Great fit and super warm, but these to the rest and super durable will Absolutly be buying an unlined pair for the warmer weather
My husband loves them , the bib overalls are great and at a great price. Thank you!
Ok, very bulky and stiff
Excellent fit
You must know the size you need and want before you order.
Bought them for my son, he works in HVAC outside a lot he says they are the best! So thank you!
First ones didn't fit, too small so I'm returning them. New ones just got here and haven't tried them on yet plus it's gone from 14 degrees to 70 degrees within a few days. So I'll have to wait till it gets cold again.
Too small for the size I ordered
Fits well and true to size. Stiffens up in the extreme cold. Zippers on legs freeze close have to thaw to unzip
they are very good. I'm happy with them. I had my last pair for 20 years. I just kind of outgrew them.
Buying a work jacket is the only reason I looked into these, but I work in a freezer warehouse and these things are a must. They are tough, durable, warm, very stylish but yet useful. I purchased my actual pant size and was still able to wear sweats under them comfortably. Highly recommended
I ordered my boyfriend these Carhartt Bibs, a size bigger than his normal pant size, thinking it would give him a little extra room, the bib was delivered yesterday, they were extremely small, he was unable to button the buttons on the side of the bibs, you probably will need to order two sizes bigger to fit to your body if you are not wearing pants underneath and just under armor, if not you should think about ordering 3 sizes larger than your normal pant size, if your want a little wiggle room in them.
I would give it 5 stars but they are just a little tighter around my stomach than I thought they would be. But honestly it's only a little noticeable. That's my only complaint. And it's not really a complaint. More of a self realization I should probably shed a few pounds. They are incredibly warm and durable. Good range of movement in the legs. Shoulder straps don't bunch up or twist. More than worth what I paid for them.
Really stiff when first worn but didn't take long to break in, wore them out this morning at 5 below zero and stayed warm.
Warm an cozy
Amazing coveralls for a fair price. They are very warm. Well made. I work in the mobile crane industry and I needed something that will provide comfort and durability. Carhartt never fails with their product.
Had to send them back! They were too small!
Customer service was great. Unfortunately my son's overalls were too big and you don't offer them in a small.
My 18 year old grandson had the Carhartt Duck Bib Overalls on his Christmas List. So I immediately went into the Carhartt site
Tough long lasting bibs.
Way too thick for me. Can't hardly sit down but good quality
Great American made build. Only thing is that carhartt runs small in waste and long in inseam. I am normally a 34 waist and 32 inseam. I bought a 36 waist because I factored in the fact that I'd have pants on underneath them. The 36 was way too tight and the length was too long. I ended up getting a 38 waist and 30 length and that fit perfectly. I also bought duck pants and had a similar issue where I bought a 34 waist 32 length and needed a 36 waist and 30 length.
Hope this helps
I bought these for working in the cold and for riding 4 wheelers in the winter / snow. For this they excel in every aspect. I love them, but...Its my own fault but i should have ordered a larger size. Initially they are very stiff, but after a few washes and wearing they soften up. I wear a 30 in pants, am 5'9 and 140 lbs. I figured with my slim body i should order a 32x32, since my other bibs are similar size. These however feel ever so slightly smaller all over. They are a little tight in the waist and upper thigh areas. and i am skinny. Beyond being a little too tight for layering underneath, they are excellent. I actually start to sweat when riding or being very active while wearing them. I would buy again, but i would order a 34 or 36 instead.
Bought these to replace my last pair that lasted almost twenty years.
Looks nice. Just what my husband needs for work. Very easy to order from the store.
The bibs are / will be a Chrismas gift .
Great set of coveralls! Warm and comfortable. Great for being outdoors and keeping the winter chill out. I work on a ski hill and having these makes a world of difference compared to other options. The Arctic Quilt is warm, but can be too warm if you arenâ??t dealing with really cold temps. On slightly warm days (I.e. anything above 15F) Iâ??m fine wearing these and a base layer as long as I keep moving. They have a good amount of flex to stand, sit, kneel, and move about. Solid built and would recommend to anyone working outdoors in the winter time.
Kept me warm in below freezing temperatures, perfect fit and very easy to remove without taking off your boots.
Pants are warm but order next size up if your trying to tuck shirt/sweatshirt in.
Awesome, I love em. Warm and comfy. Five stars from me.
It is a Christmas gift
Love them! Warm, comfortable, keeps me dry during winter
I got these for my husband. He works outside in the winter
Wore good out of the box. Looking forward to many winters with these
Look nice they are just smaller than I thought I will have to order a bigger size.
Nice and warm. Seems durable. Blocks wind great.
They're nice
They fit nice, I just wish I had bought a size bigger in the waist. ..oh well hopefully they stretch out..leg length was perfect I don't like my leg bottoms dragging
Overalls really comfortable and warm
Went to Iceland the last week of March. These overalls kept me warm and protected me from extremely high winds.

Using the "True Fit" feature on the page really helped getting the right size. Fit really well but on the tighter side with Jeans
Excellent quality. Very tough material. Very warm for cold weather. I would highly recommend this product
My son absolutely loves them!!
Shipped quickly. Takes a while to break them in. Order two sizes larger in waist if you plan on wearing additional layers.
Bibs were as described, using the chart they were a little small so I ended up returning for the next size up.
These bibs are awesome. Very warm. They run a little small and I usually wear a base layer under them so I recommend ordering one waist size up.
These bibs are good on the coldest days. I work outside and I'll never be without them. Worth every penny.
I ordered these thinking that they would fit my husband who wears 44 or 46 pants. But even the 50 were not big enough to go around his belly. WISH you made the Arctic Quilted lined overalls in all your sizes. Guess I will go with your regular lined style and hope they are long enough since for some reason you thing just because guys have big bellies they will not need anything over 30 in seem...? Weird if you ask me! But at least you go up to 58 waist. BIG MEN do work outside and need the warmth your clothes provide. Wish you had more sizes available at least to order from on your website. ... Custom orders????
He loves them, said they are better than the last ones he had, very warm
The coveralls are comfortable and very durable. They run true to size and are going to last a long time!
Overall, these are great bibs for durability and keeping warm. If you are planning to use these in mild weather, or while doing heavy physical activity, they may be too warm for you. I ordered a size longer (36) than my inseam (34) to compensate for riding a motorcycle with bent legs. The leg length was spot on. The shoulder straps were so long, I couldn't tighten them enough to hold up the front. I cut all of the elastic off and attached the connector directly to the back strap, and it fits like a charm.
I bought this for my husband for his Christmas gift. He is 6'5"and weighs 250 pounds. He will wear it over his clothes at work whenever he crawls under houses. I ordered a black one, size 48/34 . It fits perfectly, and he was very happy to receive it. The quality is top of the line.
Really warm. Would definitely buy again.
Was everything I needed
Ordered a size bigger received tried them on just a little tight
After over 8 years of hard wear and tear it was finally time to replace the old bibs and we went with black this time as my man works in the oil industry. These run about a half a size smaller that I was expecting but that may be due to the arctic quilt lining being thicker than the normal lined bibs. But the quality is everything I remember and have come to expect from the brand. We should be good for another 8 years.
These were just what my son in law wanted! They fit perfectly. They arrived in time for Christmas.
Bought for a Christmas gift for my son he is a welder and works out in the elements. Hope they will deliver quality protection. Fit was good
Good quality, high leg slots ease use with boots and snap storm flaps over zips nice feature. Layers well and make outdoors work in winter months much more comfortable and safe.
0 degrees and -20 with windchill. Nice and warm pipelining 14 hr days.
Great for warmth and durability!
My first experience with Carhartt was with my coat. It's the best, warmest, more durable coat I've EVER worn!!! I don't go out in the cold anymore without it! Now I have the bibs to go with it! I went out riding the other day and was super nice and warm the whole time I was out there riding my horse! My body was so warm that my feet even stayed warm this time! lol 3 stars for comfort though because they ARE heavy. If you're not used to the weight they can seem a bit combersome. Well worth the not freezing part in my book though. ;)
Very warm in harsh conditions.
These overalls definitely meet the high-quality expectation I have come to expect from Carhartt. Yesterday we had temperatures in the low teens and high winds on our site and these kept me warm and comfortable.
Warm, comfortable, looks and made great with mobility what more could you want!!
I drive a motorcycle in Missouri year round. It is very cold. These bib overalls are perfect. I do not get cold at all
Very warm an durable
Feel great and very warm. Takes a few times wearing to really break in. I normally wear a 34-36 waist and a 34-36 inseam. Standing at 6'4" and 220, I ordered 38x36 to wear over regular pants. Fit is perfect. Not too loose and not too tight.
Classic quality and craftsmanship from carhartt. Problem is that the top bib area is unlined and the zippers exist from waist down only and not from top of bib to waist. Even with the sizing changes fit was the same on my husband odering a 38/32 inseam over the 38/34 outter leg seam as was the previous garment sizing my husband ordered in years past. We returned due to above mentioned cons and the return shipping cost from CO was $16.00. Not buying online again as we live near enough to Carhartt supplier's and I dont want to pay $16.00 to try on bibs. Please make a mans bib that protects my husband from constant exposure to Mountainous Winter elements during his 12 hour shifts and yet is still machine washable? Thank you for the quality and stylish products you offer. -CMD
Ordered for man who operates cranes, backhoes, and more! Most do not have the operator enclosed cab! He repairs them when they break, digs trenches, repairs water mains, and much more.
If you live in the Midwest; these are a must during the winter months - warm, durable, comfortable!
Excellent quality except where suspenders attach.
I work construction and had gone through 1 pair of overalls every year. Then about 10 years ago my dad told me to get these. Well they were the last ones I bought. Like an old teddy bear they show there years and have there scars. But a little TLC from grandma every spring, they were mended. But by far the best I've ever owned or seen owned by many. About time I should be getting an upgrade but every winter I pull them out and say, "We can make it 1 more winter." Love these coveralls!!!!
Awesome forworkig in temps well below zero just a little bulky until broken in
As advertised. Nice and warm on the Wisconsin below zero cold snaps which is what I need them for.
Best pair of coverall ever, got my first pair in Wyoming (8 yrs ago) and still wear them. Easy to get in and out of them, plenty of pockets and plenty of leg room to get up and down on the equipment I work on. I get mine about a inch shorter on the inseam and about two sizes bigger in the waist to fit comfortably.
Son needed warm overalls for job site. He is cold by nature and these overalls are keeping him toasty.
i have ownd these pairs of bibs for 4 years now and the only wear on them is a extreamly small hole that i made crossing over a barb wire fence that has yet to tear any more. these bibs are the warmest pair of bibs i have ever worn and the keep me warm on the coldest winter days when im out ice fishing or working around the house outside. Liveing in northren wisconsin the winters get pretty harsh. they are extreamyl compfy and i can move almost as if i was just wearing jeans . the zippers along the sides make it easy to slip on and off over boots. I love these bibs and refuse to wear or buy anything else IF these happen to EVER wear out.
they fit very well... true to size and were very durable.
Nothing like these bibs my grandson will stay warm in them.
Will never buy anything else but Carhartt....Nothing matches the quality and craftmenship of this product.
Great suit. Comfortable and doesn't restrict my arms or reach when working. A warm layer when I'm out on those cold windy 10-story rooftops. Wish I'd bought this last year.
I purchased these overalls for the purpose of staying warm during subzero Chicago Bears football games. They do a great job of keeping me warm. The only down side, if I had to list one, is that they are a little stiff at first and need to be worn in before they are comfortable to sit in for 3 hours of a losing football team's game.
I have had my bib overalls for 14 years. All the zippers and snaps still work. No holes in the pockets. A little wear on the knees and pants cuffs, that's it! I work construction as a plumber and I am also a farmer/horse breeder. Some days I wear them from dawn to dusk, Carhartt's are the best!
Almost everyone in our household has some Carhartt bib overalls and a coat or two to go along with them. These are also great for deer hunting in. They keep my dad and I warm when we are out on a hunt. The pouches hold everything you could ever need on a hunt and the deep pockets are great to keep your hands warm!!
Bought these after the wife bought me the arctic lined jacket. Very good match. I never get cold and the seem to be water/snow repellant. I use these mainly for work. I guess I could say I am hard on them, laying on the ground, snow and what ever is under me. Had them 3 years so far and little to no signs of wear.
I got these bibs for work last fall. This past winter I truly put this to test. I'm a maintenance supervisor who works nights. Last winter, we had a heating unit on the roof go out during the coldest week of the year. We were on the roof in -10*F temperature and the wind was brutal. This in combination with the Carhartt C26 jacket, and I could literally have been up there all night. It was like being in my own little tent where I was completely invincible to my frigid environment. I was so impressed that I bought the R54 bibs to use in the treestand. These come HIGHLY recommended from myself as well as my mechanics.
I live in Michigan and our winters can be pretty cold. My legs would be red and numb prior to buying and using the overalls. To be able to work and not worry about the cold is priceless. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who works outside for more than an hour in cold weather. Keep in mind that you need to add 2-3 sizes up from your normal size due to wearing clothing underneath.
I've worn Carhartt bibs for over 7 years now, and I'm just now buying my 2nd pair. I probably should bought them a year ago, given the shape of my old ones. Anyway, I think Carhartt is the better choice for outerwear, they are durable and of a higher quality than some of the other brands. They are a bit stiff at first, but within 2-3 weeks they loosen up.
Got them just in time for a cold snap. My first pair and I love them.
hope this pair lasts as long as my last set wore them for 5 years
I can't say enough good things about these bibs. I work outside on 12 hour shifts in Canadian winter with ease with only wearing a pair of sweats underneath. I swear they are windproof, and takes hours before the snow soaks through them.

I have bought other brands and none have stood up to Carhartts, and I am hard on my gear. Grease, diesel, sparks, nothing has damaged them and when I finally did put holes in them with battery acid, Carhartt sent patches to my house free of charge! I have yet to see a company that will take this kind of abuse and still stand behing their product.
I've been buying Carhartt stuff for well over 15 years because it is the only product that keeps me warm in the winter. I'm outside a lot and needed warm, comfortable clothing. On the coldest days, with the wind blowing, my legs were kept warm. Coupled with the Arctic Jacket, I was kept warm all day! The multiple pockets are very useful for all sorts of things including a cell phone. These will last forever. Well-made and rugged styling!
I purchased this for my husband who is a contractor since he works outdoors quite a bit. These bibs could not be better as far as protection from the elements and cold. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable bib.
This product is outstanding. Very tough material and lots of insulation. Extremely well made with heavy duty zippers and plenty of pockets. Zippers that zip all the way up the leg and will snap adjust at the ankle for the fit you want. Very warm and I would and have already recommended these bibs to friends and fellow workers.
Ron
I have bought carhartt arctic insulted bibs for the past 15 years. I work on a drilling rig and there is nothing that compares to these. I have tried others when i first started drilling 18 years ago, I tried a pair of carhartt insulated bibs and have never bought anything else since. I stand in -20 degree temps and the wind blowing, nothing stops the wind like these. I just can't say enough about these, once you buy a pair of these you won't settle for anything else.
Keep up the great products Carhartt.
This is my 4th carharrt purchase, first from this website, and I am always pleased with the product. I don't think it is possible to wear out a carharrt!! The arctic lined bibs we just bought are unbelievably warm, and built to last, it is obvious that quality still counts . I would never even consider buying another brand! Very rugged and designed with working people in mind. Love them.
I am head of a maintenance crew for a mall in Troy, MI and Carhartts are all we buy for our winter clothing. Buying for 20 workers, we know how durable carhartts are. Time and time again our bibs overalls, jackets and coats have seen us thru some of michigans worst winter weather. Keep up the good work!
working outside isn't a problem with these bibs... they really keep the elements out, that's a bonus here in the Rocky Mountains... they did take an outing or two to break them in and make them comfortable like i like.
I bought this pair of bibs last year for snow removal and I firmly believe I will never need another pair of bibs ever. I love these bibs because as they are warm they are also comfortable and durable to wear during construction during the winter. If they do get saturated in water they are a little hard to dry but other than that I am in love!

I have always worn Carhartt Bibs because they are the toughest out there. Being made in the USA just makes them better.
