Fit perfect, I favor this style.
We sent them back. The rise is too short. They are not the same pants I bought a year ago. Please put the rise measurement on the pants. It cost us $ to return them. I will not buy these again, even though I really thought it was a good product. Just too expensive to get them and then return them.
I've been buying Carhartt jeans for almost <br />25 years. I've bought 2 pairs in the last couple of months and both have started to wear and tear right by the back pockets. The quality has definitely gone downhill since moving production to Mexico. I'll be going back to buying American made a finishing wearing out my old American made Carhartts. Saving a few bucks on production cost you a customer.
I like them a lot, but they seem to be a little snug on my thighs. My last pair was a 36 x 30 and they were a bit big, so this time I went for 34 x 30. And like I said, they're snug. Other than that they're good, l am a construction worker for a railroad and I can put a beating on work clothes.
Pants dont fit like the other 6 pairs of carharts I have. Im never ordering anything online from you again.

Little tight around the waist for 38s and would it kill you to make the pockets deeper? You can’t squat down with your phone in your pocket.
This style of jeans sit above the waist, so the fit is too tight. Need to return them for the next larger size. Current return policy is not consumer friendly.

well i like the jeans however buy them a size bigger i am a 32 waist but 33 in these . once washed they shrink however do loosen with wear after but im not a fan of tight fitting items . key words relaxed fit but i will buy again as im new to this brand now that i know the sizing .
These are my go to jeans, have been for years. Oddly, they’re hard to find in a lot of stores that carry Carhartt brand. One major flaw, as others have mentioned, is the sewing around the pockets. I have six pairs of these, all of them have fraying around the front pockets. It doesn’t look good. Despite being a good looking jean, I can’t wear them at work once the pockets fray.

The fit and style are not the same as they used to be. I am disappointed that carhart would make changes to a product that was so consistent in the past
They jeans are great. Great fit. And very comfortable
Fabric, most of it, is good except for pocket material. Quality of workmanship is lower than that is Carhartt jeans of a few years ago. Seems moving operations to Mexico will lead to the 'Downfall' of what used to be a good brand.

Love the design, look and feel. Length and waist were just fine. 6' 3" average build, but I could not fit my thighs in the pants. Other "relaxed" fit pants are perfectly sized. Not sure why these were so snug.
I would say I have medium-big thighs. And these jeans are very tight. I don’t get it. They say “relaxed” fit. For me they were anything but.
Pants fit lower then the last order of the relaxed fit, if I bend over my behind will show. The relaxed fit I’ve bought before didn’t fit like these I don’t know what changed

These are probably my eighth pair of these jeans I’ve purchased. Comfortable, plenty of room for movement. Solid durability at a right price.

While a nice pant, these do not fit really at all. They are too tight in the hips and thigh area. I understand the desire for modern fit to accommodate the younger generation who prefer the slim fit, but there are plenty of customers out there that still like a regular fitting jean.

These pants are my husbands go to jeans, they look great as everyday pants
They were overall really well made jeans. Only exception I would add is the inseam could of been a little bit longer (Not much, just a tad), felt like I couldn't quite pull them up all the way to my waist where I like my jeans to be worn.

must have ordered wrong ones, I've ordered same for years and was very satisfied, these were very light fabric, butt ugly color. will return and try to get the ones I've been buying.
Runs true to size and is very rugged, but I would much rather have the rugged flex jean that stretched more.
I was tired of other brands only lasting a short time before the thin denim started getting holes and tears so I'm trying out Carhartt, on my third pair and third style and as for this one, so far so good. They are not as "relaxed" as other brands and tighter in the thighs so you may try to get a size bigger. Had a problem with rivets falling off another style but the denim is so much better I'll try some more.

I only give a one star review due to sizing. No doubt this is a great jean,however, "true to size" yea, not so much. I wear relaxed fit 34x34 in everything and I was excited to get my Carhart jeans to try for the very first time. Using the "true to size" guide provided by the one and only Carhart website proffesionals I was very disappointed to find that my relaxed fit 34x34 fit more like a 32x34 slim or regular fit. A BIG BOO and thumbs down in this one. My suggestion is to go up one size and buy the loose fit,however this style is not available in loose fit so I wont be buying jeans here again. I will ALWAYS buy my quilt lined bibs,shirts and sweatshirts here but no thanks on their jeans.
Great durable jeans. They are tough enough to be work jeans yet stylish enough to wear out anywhere in my opinion. Keep in mind they sit below the waist. If you like that style of fit as I do, you will really like these jeans.
Next time I'll order a size bigger for the waist. Seem to fit a little small.
Fit my bigger thighs. And have a nice stack on boots my favorite jeans.
Love the way the pants look and have had many pairs. They do not hold up when working an extremely active outdoor job.

I've wore these jeans a few times now. The pros- they are really comfortable fit very nicely and don't make you feel like you are restricted. The Cons- for me tha material is too dark and the sun shining on it gets really hot fast. If anything make a few different color options. I would definitely buy more pairs if that were a option.
I ordered both size 33 and 32. Neither fit well, the size 32 was actually larger than the 33.

Bought 2 pair fit was very tight. Not what I would call relaxed fit. After examining tag found these to be made in Mexico. The B17 style I usually get were US made and fit well.
I bought a pair two years ago and loved them, I order two new pairs and they both fit horrible. They like a lowrise jean, they fit nothing like they say.
MY FAVORITE JEAN. THIS JEAN IS GREAT FOR EVERYDAY WEAR. THE MATERIAL IS BREATHABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT, AND STRONGER THAN MOST JEANS THAT ARE THIS STYLISH. I WEAR THESE OUT, DOING YARD WORK, AND WORKING ON THE TRUCK. NOT MY FIRST CHOICE ON THE JOBSITE, BUT A GREAT EVERYDAY JEAN WITH THE QUALITY YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM CARHARTT.
deffinatly not with your money, looks good but not at all durable, basicly new still and both knees have tears in them, would not buy these again.<br />i am terribly dissipointed the the material used for these jeans bought them because carhartt has a reputation of being quality cant say that i am at all satisfied with my purchace, spend your money on another brand of jean.
PRO: Attractive appearance, durable looking construction.<br /><br />CON: 1. Normally, a pant mfr will size the pants to fit the hips if they are intended to be worn below the waist, hence a low rise jean would be labeled 32" Waist but actually measure 34" since a man with a 32" waist would have slightly larger hips. But not these jeans: order your hip measurement, not your waist size.<br /><br />2. Front pockets are very shallow: will not fit a large smart-phone, for example.<br /><br />3. Thin denim might develop holes at stress points.
I am extremely satisfied with the relaxed fit straight leg jeans i have purchased. They are stylish enough that i would feel comfortable wearing them out for a night with friends and yet durable enough that i could wear them on a construction site. The quality of the jeans are top notch, and they are are the most comfortable jeans i have owned. I hope this style is available for a long time. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there were more colors to choose from. I now own four pairs of these jeans. Good Job!
I think these jeans are great. I'm a little on the slim side, so heavier guys might not like them if they have a beer gut.<br /><br />This person is part of our Field Testing program and may have received this product for free. These are awesome jeans.<br /><br />They are extra tough and they look great.<br /><br />They have a rugged, masculine feel and an under-stated very cool style and since they are not too faded or too dark, not too loose or too tight I feel great wearing them no matter where I am or what I'm doing.<br /><br />They do ride slightly lower than others, more towards the hips than the waist but I like that because somehow it makes you feel sexy wearing them.
I always purchased the relaxed fit with 141/2 inch leg openings and sits at natural waist. I now must find a new brand of jeans to purchase. By lowering the waist on these jeans, it pushed me out of being a LOYAL customer. I've always purchased a minimum of six pairs every August for the new school year.
The rise on these jeans is way too low, it makes them very uncomfortable. I love the jean color and material, it is very rugged and looks great. If these jeans had a higher rise they would absolutely be my favorite pair of jeans of all I own. Everything else about the fit is perfect, not too baggy or too tight, but I don't wear them often because the low rise is so uncomfortable.
