While the length and waist were true, the "rear end" lacked enough material and tended to go low rider, and I'm not exactly a "bubble behind" guy. Also, the bottom of the legs are extremely tight, making it very difficult to get these on and off.

Very warm and comfortable but waistband ripped open the first time I wore them. I don't recall catching them on anything to provoke the ripping and I highly doubt my 30 inch waist was too large for them. Good thing I have a mother around to sew them back up. Other than that great product.

My son works outside for a electric co. - this time of year in our state gets very cold, he wears these to work everyday to keep warm as well as comfortable. They come in handy for hunting season also.

The delivery was right on time. I find this base insulated under garment to be noticeably heavier than other brands that I have purchased. The cuffs are very snug and take a little extra effort to remove from the ankle area. Carhartt seems to run a little large on the size. I ordered large; whereas, medium would have done better on my frame and 182 lbs. We haven't had real cold weather yet, but so far they are great for keeping me warm outside this fall.

I was happy with the fit of these long johns and they are fairly comfortable but the seam along my crotch has ripped after just two days of use. I don't know what caused the tear but am pretty disappointed with the quality of this product.

I bought 2 sets for my husband. He is always cold. He wore long johns into July this year, he is so cold. I bought these 2 weeks ago and he loves them. They were delivered in 2 days. The fabric is very soft. I have already recommended them to friends and I plan on ordering several sets as Christmas gifts for my son, son-in-law

These are very warm, and wear for a long time. The 100% cotton was the big thing for me as my husband works outside and does some welding so that was important.
The fit in the waist area could be better, I went 1?size smaller and it’s still huge
These are for my husband who works in the blast furnace part of the steel mill where the heat is extreme. He is required to have 100% cotton against his skin and that's why we like these. They run a smidge big.

Way too small. I cannot imagine anyone fitting into them they were so ill proportioned. The material itself seems good and well-made, but the sizing is ridiculous.

These are very comfortable but they are a tad bit long on me. They are still crazy comfortable and warm. They have the comfort of sweatpants with the warmth of thermals. I like them and probably will buy more
My normal pants size is 34WX36L. The length of these LT's is good but the waist is too generous. Should have ordered the medium talls.

Purchased for my husband. Our weather is zero degrees. He is a driver so he needs to be dressed appropriately. These are very warm and much needed right now. So glad I purchased them.

Was out today on 12/28/17 working outdoors at a -7 degrees and felt comfortable for the good 2 hours the job lasted while we finished.

I'm a huge fan of Carhartt's coats and work gear, and will always continue to buy these products. Carhartt's Super-Cold Weather thermals are the most uncomfortable items of clothing I've ever worn, which is unusual. The thermals feel stiff and restrictive. I recommend Carharrt uses a more flexible and softer material to make these thermals out of.

When I ordered tall, I thought they meant TALL. I could have used another 2 inches in the leg length and also they tend to be low-rise in the rear. A few more inches from crotch to wasteline in the center rear would be nice. I sure don't want plumber's butt when I bend over or sit down. At 6'6" I really need all the length and rise I can get. Doesn't anyone think tall people get cold as well?

Living in western South Dakota, with long cold winters, I've tried a number of different long underwear and these are easily the best. <br /><br />Great product.
In all honesty, my husband is disappointed. I wanted to get him another style but he is used to these and he says the cut and elastic is entirely different on this new pair for some reason :-(
These are warm when the North wind is cutting through single layer clothes. I wear them in the weather that is too cold for just jeans , but not quite cold enough to put on my Carhartt coveralls. They fit snug and are very comfortable. I wear tally and these are long enough.
So far so good. We will definitely find out this week. First cold week of the year.
Bought two pair. The elastic on the waistbands rolls up. Once again Carhartt has cut corners on quality. Have a pair of black ones probably six or sevens years, they are still good.
Great fit, waist does not loosen after many wears and washings. Husband loves how they fit and they are warm.
