Carhartt makes a great 13-ounce 75% cotton/ 25% polyester heavyweight hoodie. They apply their own Rain Defender water-repellent in order to fight-off light rain. This sweatshirt comes in a few different styles, a pullover hoodie, front-zip hoodie, and a Quarter-Zip Mock Neck hoodie.

This hooded sweatshirt is blended with Timberland Pro’s own Rain Repel, which is a durable water-repellent that the sweatshirt is treated with in order to keep the light rain at bay. Timberland Pro makes this heavyweight hoodie in two different styles, a pullover and a front-zip.
The Timberland Pro Double Duty hoodie is in Timberland Pro’s Original Fit. This fit is a little bigger than most brands, similar to Carhartt, and gives you a bit more freedom in movement.
The Double Duty hoodie also features a raglan sleeve design. The raglan sleeve is a sleeve that extends from the collar in one piece, leaving a diagonal seam from the underarm to the collarbone. This type of design creates a wider underarm area, which allows for additional space for other layers and gives the much needed flexibility while working.
