Original quality pls bring them back<br />I have Never understood discontinuing a product that sells out continuously
Love the pants
Cargo pockets are too small. Ordered my size but they were too tight in the legs, so I donated them to people in the Ukraine.
like them but they are overly heavy for me They need simpler cargo pants made of the same material without the double knee, multiple multiple cargo pockets on each leg, metal snaps, etc. - more like the cargo pants they discontinued.
too long and they run small in the waist. material feels cheap. I guess that's why they were $25, never again
Fit great, love them and will be ordering more for work soon.<br /><br />Can say much but after a couple months, wearing them weekly. They've held up so far.
Great pants, not a fan of the look or feel of the non cotton material on the exterior, but for utility it's good. I like them too much to ruin them at work just yet.
Why are you discontinuing these pants??? I have a pair and they are Awesome. I volunteer with the Forest Service building cross country ski trails. I am down in the dirt on my knees moving rocks and logs from the trail and they have held up unbelievably well. Please don't stop producing and selling them. I would buy another pair or 2 right now if they were available. In my opinion these pants are much more durable than the other work pants that you sell...
These are the best pants I’ve ever owned. Plenty of practical pockets. Perfect fit and super comfortable! Please tell me they aren’t actually being discontinued!?
Size runs really small. I ordered a 34 waist and they feel like a 32 or 30.
I love these I wish they had more.
Best pair of working pants
Bought these for my son-in-law. They wear like cast iron, he loves the side pockets and double knees, and the relaxed fit is perfect because he does a lot of bending and stooping in his work.
Great work pants! I would size up by one. Otherwise durable and fit good.
I never had a problem ordering my regular waist size but these pants are way too tight to even button up. The material is nice and they’re great quality pants but they’re a tight fit and I can’t wear them. Definitely size up on the waist.
I’ve had the rip stop pants and shorts before and I love them I’ve been wearing them for years yes I would recommend
Best work pants ever !!!! I tried Duluth and Patagonia and these are by far the best !!!!! Love the pockets, buttons, extra strength areas. Worth ever penny !!!! Wish the had a couple more Color’s.
Their a great work pants, mobility is also good
I’ve been wearing Carhartt clothing for many many years. T-shirts, rain gear, heavy duty work jackets, double knee and lined work pants, shorts, and footwear.<br />They are well worth the money spent.<br />I retired five years ago and haven’t thought about giving up purchasing Carhartt clothing.<br />My personal favorite are the B342 work pants.<br />I found out about Carhartt clothing from a co-worker when I was in my thirties. I am now seventy and still wearing Carhartt because of the fit and wearability.<br />Thanks!??
Good pants. Solid, good fit.
They fit way tighter than other carhartt pants of the same size. I've been buying different styles in 34x34 for years, and they fit slightly loose. These, I could barely button them up.
Didn’t fit as expected.
Great pants for work or riding, very durable first pair 5 years old still just breaking them in.just out grew them.
Crappy quality . These pants were done in a few months. Never buy another pair. I am done with the carhartt brand last 3 pairs were not up to task. <br />Done with them. Carhartt aint got the guts to post this!
Good pants to work in and including riding my motorcycle long distance, really very comfortable with plenty of room. After the first pair, I purchased three more pair in the other colors. I will be purchasing more; really good material and stitched very well made to take the abuse. I’m retired military and they remind me of the military fatigue pants made of the same material except Carhartt material is thicker. Great pair of pants, I’m sold.
Good fit seemed to be construction.
first week already ripped
These pants are great! I'm very mobile and active in my job as an adventurer and have an awful habit of destroying my pant pretty quickly. This pair is going to last me much longer than the usual work pants I've been annihilating on a regular basis. They even hold up to sharp teeth and claws. The hip pockets could stand to be an inch or two deeper, as my cell phone doesn't feel quite secure. Either way, I'll be buying more of these pretty soon.
My second pair only because my first pair is so faded – and I got some paint on them. Bummer. Great fit (in my opinion), I feel the waist runs a bit tight). I won’t admit I may have gained weight though. But over all, a very good pant. Carhartt products are terrific. Thanks!
Totally love this pants!! Comfortable, convenient and strong. There is only one point that I’m not satisfied with, the stretchability is little poor. But the best work pants ever!!!
I returned them as they run a little small.
I love them
I absolutely love these pants and have been wearing the Ripstop pants for 6 years and haven’t bought any other brands. The durability of these pants are second to none when it comes to the harsh environment and conditions in Alaska.
Very comfortable work pants
My husband loves the fit
I love these pants so much I've got at least one pair in every color. The fit is great for bigger guys, they're durable as hell, and the numerous pockets are well-placed enough that they're convenient to access if you're standing or sitting. What more could you ask for?
I work hard, and my clothing takes a beating, but the Carhartt cargo pants take everything I can give them. This time, I bought eight pair of pants (in various colors), and I expect that they will last for a decade. The pockets are nicely sized. The material is comfortable. I have always had a good experience with Carhartt products.
Great pants, I have been buying them for the past 5 years. However, the crotch needs a more flexible/durable fabric to avoid rubbing abrasion. After around the 4month mark the crotch stitching always begins to wear and rip in the same area.
I have rotated three pairs of these in highly active workdays for five years. They can stand up to the worst of it.
Great pants! All I can say.
I love the knee pads! So nice to be able to kneel without thinking about it.
Honestly really liked them and I just ordered another pair
They fit great and are made well. I work with wood and they hold up very good.
I have been wearing carhartt pants, shoes, shirts and jackets for along time. The rip stop pants are my favorite by far. I ran equipment for along time and they hold up the way I wanted. I can’t say enough how much I like them. I have my wife, son and daughter wearing them as well. Love them.
I am picky with pants, with that being said I do like these pants. they are durable and have plenty of pockets for all of my tools and extra things that I carry. I have two complaints about them however, I would like one more pocket for a phone, as I don't like sitting on it and I don't like it sitting with other items. the other is that the seam of the cargo pocket is pretty abrasive after crouching multiple times. These do not breath well so I am still looking for durable pants to wear in the Arizona summer.
Bravo Zulu on quality, performance, and durability
They fit perfectly!
I Love these pants, have been wearing them nearly every day for 10 years because the comfort and pockets suit me well. That said, they are NOT rip resistant, I get a few months at best before the rear pockets start to rip out then the entire seat or the "crotch" rips with a 8-10" tear. I have canvas Carhartt's that are 20 years old and still in great shape doing same work. These are definitely not the same for durability but the comfort is excellent. I purchase 3-5 pair a year (mine are repaired with a sewing machine often too). Honestly, I will wear as long as they make them! But, if you really need durable, these may not be your best choice.<br />*Also: I wonder if the reports of pants not fitting are due to the way you order them on the site - the numbers are reversed, so, if the physical tag says 32X30 which is 32 Waist and 30 Length; online you order 30X32 as Length is the first number here (seems an easy fix?).
My wife bought these yesterday...I'm a size 33 waist in jeans so she bought a size 34..as i wear long johns in winter...they fit tight, tight-fitting at the butt s.total garbage<br />Pockets too tight to even have my car keys.in....uncomfortable, cheap fabric....will never buy these again
Saddened to say that my pants ripped after just a few months of wear. I was under the impression that Carhartt’s were made to be durable and this clearly wasn’t the case. These were worn for casual use (no labor) and they still pulled apart at the crotch. Very disappointing.
Really like The workmanship and all of the pockets. But, way too long and wide lower legs. Working in a factory causes safety hazards.<br />I thought they were less baggy in the lower legs.
Excellent pants. Sturdy, durable, and well made.
I bought these for my husband as work pants and he loves them! He is really happy with the fit and he also loves the pockets that are perfect for his phone, knife and a pen while working. He loves them so much he wants a pair for weekends too.
Great fit an sturdy.
Just as advertised. Fit and feel great. Very well made and feel substantial and durable. Very functional with loads of pockets.
Exactly what I ordered. My favorite style of Carhartt.
Have enjoyed all the carhartt that I have owned. any of the few issues that I have had have been dealt with as quickly as possible. A very good and honest company
A nice weight work pant.
The pants are great! in fact I have two pairs that are scheduled to be delivered Friday 3/5/22. Carhartt so much I'm completing this survey on my laptop because it would Not allow me to type on my phone. The products are Great the survey not so much! last one on the laptop!!
Carhartt: Do not discontinue! <br /><br />A really good value and great alternative to “tactical” pants like the more expensive 5.11 brand. Durable, functional work pants with great features. 100% satisfied.
Good Quality
My green ones seem great; light weight, good quality and the knee pads can roll up and fit inside the double knee. The brown ones on the other hand have the pocket sewn lower on the double knee making the knee pads fit awkwardly even after being notched to compensate for the pocket stitching impeding the double knee. <br />Also the cargo pockets aren’t stiff enough to match my knife or tape measure on - one handed which slows down my work flow. <br />Overall a great pant, still one of my favorites!
Very nice pants as usual with anything from carhartt . Fit is pretty much spot on, and are warm , but in colder weather outdoors you would probably still want to wear long johns underneath you pants.
Stiff fabric, tight in the butt crack area , got two pair and both ripped with in first week of wearing. Pour paint very diapointed 100 buck down the drain
Fit is a little snug, but function well
Great for anyone looking for a nice flexible, durable, warm insulated coat, and the detachable hood is great too especially for anyone who gets uncomfortable with long hair.
Very good quality and very comfortable
Flat out great exactly what I wanted
I owned 3 pair of these pants for the last four years and wore them out. The new design is an improvement. The material is softer, there are brass snaps instead of velcro and the side pockets are better designed. The only flaw I found is that the front pocket is shallow and if I recline in them things will fall out of the pocket. Overall an excellent pair of pants.
nice pants!
Almost as good as Duluth Fire Hose Cargo pants. Just a little lighter, a little cooler and less cost. I Perfer zipper rather then snaps on the pockets. I will buy them again. I work in the field with lots of sticker bushes. No time to be careful and walk around large areas, just walk threw them and get the job done.
Love the ripstop pants and work pullover hoodies. Great value, long lasting and professional look!
These pants are made of durable material, and they have plenty of pockets. The only issue is that for some reason my pens, change, etc. tend to fall out of the right front pocket when I sit down. Since there are lots of pockets, of course, I can compensate for that. These pants are also warm during the winter.
Very good fit
Great pants. Wear them every day. Comfortable, durable, practical and good looking.
Best work pants ever
Stop looking, these are the pants you want. Fit great, very well made and built to handle anything you throw at them. I plan on ordering more in other colors, finally found my go to pants.
I have 4 pairs of these pants because of how awesome they are. They're tough, with great pockets and fit great except for one MAJOR flaw;<br />All 4 pants I own have the exact same problem, no room in the buttocks. As if Carhartt expects everyone who wears these to be flat as a board.<br />I tolerate it because they're perfect for where I work, but I don't plan to buy any more of these unless they change the design.<br />It seriously makes it difficult to move around.
Love them but…..have to buy size larger due to they shrink at the legs. Would purchase them again.
I like these pants except the waist size is way too small. I buy a 32 waist in everything else and I have a little bit of room, but the Carhartt 32 doesn't even fit me. Unfortunately I'm not able to return it.
Great fit, great look, and very durable. I've bought my son 4 pairs in the last 60 days.
I need more pair
The ideal work pants!!!
Expensive but worth it. I like my Foundry cargos but Cartharts are very nice and black. Hard to find that color.
Sizing is not consistent. These pants were much tighter fitting than the exact same pair, same size, same relaxed fit, (different color) that I ordered a few months ago. I can still wear them but they feel like a size smaller.
It’s a good fit and very comfortable to wear on a daily basis
Great durable work pants! Provides easier movement than working in denim jeans.
Amazing quality
Cargo pockets (bottom edge) are lower than any other 6-7 brands I have<br />owned making them useless for carrying anything as I cannot bend at knee with something in the pocket. Very disappointed as loved the look of the pant, the material, and ordered because the closures were NOT velcro. Wrote company, still no reply. Unable to return as the tags were taken off :(
I really like these pants, but don't think they are really"relaxed". Waist and length are perfect, just kinda "skinny" legs, not much wiggle room
Love the pants. Hate the vaccine mandate for employees. Will buy more if you rescind it.
Awesome pants
Best work pant i have ever worn.
My College son Loves these pants. I bought two pairs. Rugged and comfortable! He just bought a 3rd pair!
Absolutely love these pants. It is the only pants I’ve worn for years. Work, Boy Scouts, and leisure. Sadly it looks like they’re being discontinued as there becoming impossible to find. I am so sad.
10/10 would recommend. Best pants I’ve ever owned
My go to work pants these days. Proven tough in a thorny tree clearing project that has shredded jeans.
Just what I hoped for. Tough exterior, handy pockets, and comfortable. Comments are accurate and one should purchase a size larger than normal. Length is accurate. High quality.
Good product. No complaints.
There are two things about Carhartt that I love: 1) When I buy a certain size I know it will fit and 2) The durability of the ripstop pant is great! I also like the number and placement of the pockets.
We thought we liked them, and then they ripped within one week of using
Nice fabric and well made. I have worn This brand for years. This pant was a newer style for me and I’m happy I tried them.
Great product, fit perfectly
I loved the pants
Great for the shop
I sent them back.
Favorite pants
Great pants, very sturdy with good pockets and a strong place for tape measure.<br />The crutch however sits a little high and the leg a little short but that being said in general I would recommend these pants
they are the only pants I like. just wish they would last longer, rips develop after six months or so. but they look and feel great and the pockets are very handy.
Good pants
Have bought these pants before. Comfortable, functional.
My husband finds these very comfortable and versatile. He can wear them to work, but also if we are going out to a casual restaurant or friends' houses. He especially likes all the pockets so he can get to his phone without having to unload his wallet, keys etc. I will note that if you are in between on waist sizes (ex. a 39, instead of a 38), you should order the next size up (ex. a 40) if you want a comfortable fit.
These are so cool!!!
Best work pant I've ever owned.
The ripstop cargo pants were not the right size. Even tho tags said 36x34 they were actually 34x36. So didn't get to wear and sent them back. Would like to try but afraid to order if they all say wrong size.
Tough and not afraid to work hard. Like the pockets as well as the the fit. Thank you
In my line of work I have had a difficult time finding a pant that can withstand bushwacking, crawling, kneeling, and hiking. So, I had low expectations when buying these pants. However, these pants have blown me away with their durability and comfort. These are my new go-to pants for work, and they've held up wonderfully after a long season out in the field. Would definitely recommend to all my coworkers and friends.
Great for work.
Fit great, feel great, work great! Cut my own foam knee pads to fit, work perfectly. Like the reinforced knife pocket edge.
Great fitting pants.
Been wearing these for quite a while, around a year maybe more. Very very durable! My work pants always suffer the same fate, first thing that goes for me is always snagging a belt loop on something mid hustle and ripping the loop off. These loops have been snagged a lot and almost pulls me off me my feet, haven’t ripped one yet. Extra material in the normal wear areas for me have proven to be worth what I paid for them. They are heavy and tend to be hot in the summer but for durability it’s worth the trade off
I like them
Absolutely love the way they fit! I will be buying morel
So far I’ve been extremely satisfied with these pants and so far they have held up very well and seem durable.
My favorite pants, Fits perfect and very comfortable.
Good work pants
I started buying your ripstop pants because they are one of the few work pants that are made in my size anywhere. I am a mechanic and use power tools frequently. This year alone I have had an angle grinder jump twice and hit my legs. The only injury I received was minor scratches. The pants were destroyed, but I still have my legs. These will be the only pants I buy from now own.
Comfortable, rugged and durable. Also fashionable enough to double as dinner wear.
Love the durability!
???? I love the cargo pants, I can buy them in store anymore but the staff at the Murray store at Murray store are awesome
Overall love the pants
Nice and comfortable pants
Relaxed Fit was a bit of a concern, I don't like baggy. Surprised me with snug fit. Great!! Pockets galore, and in all the right places. Fit is perfect. Should be wearing these for years. Will more, in other colors.
They're alright I guess, I got these pants for work where I constantly am squating and moving to move boxes and though theyre the length and size I ordered They're a little tight around the thighs. There's not much wiggle room to well... work. Do they seem durable and good quality? Yes. Would I buy more for work? Probably not.
Liked my ol Harvest pants better.. bring them back!
Great fit. Seem like there going to be durable. Concrete work very hard on clothes
Husband loves them
BOUGHT THEM BEFORE SO LIKED THEM SO MUCH SO BOUGHT THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Fit well and hold their shape
My husband loves them and it's the only ones he will buy now.
Unfortunately I returned these pants. The fit was true to size, but the legs and boot openings are tighter than I prefer. I do construction work and need room to move around, these pants don't offer much room to move and be comfortable.
The best works cargos i ever had
My only nitpick is that they are a bit rough and chaffed my legs on initial wearing but after a few wears this was no longer an issue. They feel study and long lasting. They make you look damn good too.
I’m a woman and LOVE these pants…..sturdy and LOTS of pockets.
Perfect fit! Run true to size and the fabrics is very nice quality
These pants are great. They last a long time and are very functional. Definitely recommend trying them out.
Bought them as a gift for my 15 year old son. He loves them. Very nice pants!
Perfect fit and very comfortable work pants
I bought these for my husband, he absolutely loves them and wants a pair in all colors. They are comfortable, practical, and stylish! It has more than enough pockets to hold all kinds of things.
These pants fit well and are durable
Very nice and the look good. Material is very durable.
Love them. They've stood up to three months of daily use in a commercial, new construction environment. The only parts that are starting to wear out
Great fitting pants
The fabric is a little stiffer than expected but will likely withstand abrasion and general wear
Happy overall but belt loops are missing compared to my older ones and half the snap buttons don't snap.
Great for my grandson that is becoming an electrician.
Great Pants
WOW!!!! A
Too small. I cant even button them.
lots of pockets and comfortable
Bought these pants for my son. He loves Carhartt and wanted a pair of pants with a lot of pockets. These fit the bill. He loves them!
Very comfortable. Good pockets
Overall a good light work pant. The last pair I had lasted almost three years. Only complaint I have is the lower side tool pocket is on my knee. Any tools I put in there rub against/bang into the knee. Other than that a good pant.
Love the fit, feel, and function! They're tough without being stiff scratchy, with practical pockets and design elements in all the right places.<br /><br />I'll continue to buy and wear these as my daily work wear for years to come!<br /><br />The one complaint I have is with the snap closures on the pocket cover flaps. Please-oh-please get rid of these things! Other manufacturers replace these snaps with velcro closures so you don't scratch things you rub against and don't get jabbed my metal pokey things when wiggling on the ground the way some jobs demand. Furthermore, you can install velcro in the pocket's interior as well, so you can secure those flaps out of the way if you prefer.
Very disappointed with these pants. These are the fourth and fifth pair of this model pant that I've owned. They clearly show that Carhartt has a serious quality control issue as far as sizing is concerned. These two new pair of this pant are significantly smaller in both waist and length than the previous three pair I own, despite them being marked as identical in size. I intend to return them both
Great fit, easy to move, strong material...am buying 2 more pair
My husband loves these pants. <br />I Always buy the same size for him, but this pair is too tight in the waist so I have to return them. He still has several pairs of the same pant.(same size) and they fit fine.<br />It’s possible that he has put on some weight, but then wouldn’t his old ones be too tight also?<br />I’m afraid the next size up would be too big.
My husband LOVES these. I've made fun of them for years, but listen to this! One day he was working on our roof and scooted around on his butt for way too long. He literally had road rash on his butt! Yet, the Carhartt's which he wore while doing the work endured the job! They showed no wear signs whatsoever after scooting around on the roof for half the day!!! We laughed so hard, but ever since I give these pants a top rating!
Great fit!
These pants are cheap now the pockets are short they just suck all the way around
Excellent quality and fit.
Christmas present…so we are not sure!
Ordered usual waist size. 36-32. But husband was unable to fasten them. Waist too small.<br />Will return today
Comfortable and durable. All I need!
I do recommend this item.. not my first pair and certainly not my last.
Carhartt, what are y'all thinking? Ok, first let me compliment you all on the shorts version of these pants, almost perfect with exception to the front fly zipper (it needs to be redesigned to come down just a little further), not a deal breaker, but just wish that it could be extended more. The deal breaker with these pants for me is the cargo pockets. They reside perfectly adjacent with my knees, but not the shorts. Your shorts version positions the cargo pockets on the lower thigh. These are my everyday wear shorts (weather permitting), but the pants....holy jeez! I bought about 5 pair off Amazon thinking that they were going to be identical in all respects to the shorts. Boy was I wrong. Through all my EDC items in their respective places: Wallet (left cargo), cell phone (right cargo), right side small pockets (flash light, 9mm spare mag, spare pocket knife), Left small pocket (stubby screw driver). Once loaded down, it was such a burden to walk with all those items smacking my knees. Took everything out, folded them back up, and returned all of the pants. Back to Wrangler RIGGS Ranger Pants. The change would not be hard, just raise the positioning of the cargos!!!!!! Please, in the name of all that is Holy!!!! I love the design and all the pockets, but not with the annoyance of previously mentioned. Your pictures illustrate the correct position of the pockets, but that is not where those pockets reside once on. I suppose I could take a pair of the short and the same colored pants to a tailor and ask them to cut the leggings off and sew them to the shorts, but why? Just raise the cargos please!!!!!
Great pair of pants. They do run small tho. If you wear a 38 order a 40.
Beat work pants I’ve ever had
Love the pockets and the look is awesome.
I've bought the CArhartt B151-FAT work pants for my husband for years and he has LOVED them. The new current version of this pant has cargo pockets that are too skinny for his iPhone 8 plus. We settled for this ripstop cargo work pant but the cargo side pockets have flaps and are further around on his leg towards the back. He really liked the ease of just slipping his large phone in the slot that was the side cargo pocket before. Also, these are much thicker and not as comfortable. Please reconsider your choice to discontinue the original B151-FAT model
Runs too small i got an 8 hoping they would be a looser fit. I need to start a return please
Not the best, I was a little disappointed in the pockets. If I put anything in the cargo pockets it is pretty hard to walk in them. The outer pockets don't hold much, maybe sharpies, pencils or a knife. They are comfortable, the cargo pockets just need a re work in my opinion. I do like the notch for my knife and back pockets work well. They are durable too.
Great pants but 30 in inseam is the shortest size and still about 4 in too long.
They seem to be very durable so far. Comfortable and lots of pockets.
Best cargo pant there is in my opinion
Very happy with the pants and the price.<br />Not to happy with the $25 next day shipping that took 5 days.
They’re met my expectations.
They fit great and are very comfortable. They are true to size and I like the material.
Love these pants, great fit
Great pants very durable
Perfect fit! Very durable!
My husband loves these work pants!! They fit well and last a long time. He just wishes they came in the "Gravel" color again. These are great for outdoors and in the medical feild.
Great quality and durability, best work pants you can find.
I love these. They're functional and comfortable. I just use them for everyday wear though because it has tons of pockets and i can get them in a nice, long length which is awesome!
Great trousers. The cargo pockets are large enough for what I carry. One nit , the snaps on the cargo pocket flaps are very difficult to fasten. Velcro would be a better way to fasten the flaps.
This is probably my 10th pair I've bought - great pants!
I purchased 2 pairs of the cargo ripstop because my old pairs are worn thruogh. I love these pants.
I LOVE these pants. I am hoping that the one color I do not have are back available in my size soon. They are comfortable, love all the pockets and they are rugged. I am sure they will last a very long time!
Price, fit, and speed of shipping ...PHENOMENAL!
These are the best work pants! Good amount of pockets and purposeful. Great pants!
For a girl with a curvy body, I didn’t know what size to get but after doing some measurements I got a 32L x 33W and it honestly fits perfect. However I would size up to a 34W just bc they fit be exact and I want them to last if I get bigger. Material is great and definitely will be buying more<3
They are great work pants.<br />I like many features - left side pocket is perfect for a cell phone, the reinforced pocket bottoms for a tape measure clip and the double knees.<br />I have not found anything I don't like about them.
Have worn them for years, and plan to continue. Wish there was a greater choice of colors, wish Fed Ex lived up to promised delivery date, wish product was less spendy.
They are the best! This is my husbands second pair, they are tough! Would 100% recommend these pants. They wear very well, lots of pockets, fabric strength is awesome for tools. They fit and look good.
The best pants I've ever owned and I've owned probably 30 pairs on long lasting great fit
Love it! Might get another pair in brown
These pants last longer than others I've tried. They were the first thing I bought from Carhartt. It left me with a good impression.
There not as comfortable as the Force Tappen cargo that have been discontinued.
Great buy!!! They are much better than I thought!! They are durable and easy to clean! Very impressed. I will be buying more.
I want the black ones in 42w/30L please. Can You send Me an Email when they are AVAILABLE PLEASE!
I've bought 2 pair of Relaxed Fit Ripstop Cargo Work Pants. I like them very much. They are great pants. i wish I could buy more. They are never available in my size, 30" length and 35" waist. Carhart needs to get better availability of sizes as a priority to the company's operation.
Absolutely love these, they are exactly what I expected from Carhartt a durable work pant that is comfortable. Maybe some different pockets on the leg would make them a little more functional but other than that couldn't be happier with them.
Cargo pockets on these pants are useless, too small only suitable for pens or small items 3-4" long. large pockets are placed very low on legs (great if you are an orangutan) just above the knee, so if you put anything in the large "cargo" pocket and its thicker than a piece of paper you cannot bend your knees. If you put a pencil in the smaller pockets it will break when you bend your legs (like when you sit down).
Best work pants ever and don't fade like the wranglers rip stops
While these are comfortable and do their job I'm really disappointed that the Carhartt knee pads inserts I bought for them don't work. The stitching for the side pockets doesn't allow them to unfold. It's a problem in all three pairs of these pants that I own.
Had these for a couple of weeks now. Overall fit is good and the fabric appears to be very durable. Only complaint is that the cargo pockets are stitched flat to the legs. So while there are many pockets, they really don't hold much (a utility knife or pliers, but not both).
It is lighter weight fabric than the other work pants which on occasion would be nice, however that’s about the only plus.<br />If you want knee pads installed in the pant leg they need to be cut, almost in half, to fit and when you kneel you must pull up the leg to actually kneel on the pad. Horrible. That’s why we like the double front in the first place. You also can’t take a step with tools in your side pockets without them digging into your leg and seriously prohibiting motion. Might turn them into fishing shorts.
These pants are great! I can’t imagine not making them my “Go to” for outdoor work.
Great fit , light weight yet Durable
Good, tough jeans
Well constructed pants. Very durable and made for a working man. Love the pockets and different colors.
Fit satisfaction. Is assured and material will endure .<br />Would recommend these pants to pros in my trade .<br />Am ready to get a third pair
Great work pants, but waist runs much smaller than other brands.
I assume these will break in a little more over time. They look great and have tons of utility. They also are not as green as they appear online.
Solid material nice fit. Maybe I grew over quarantine but I found them to run slightly small
Good material but a couple of huge design flaws. The front pockets are extremely shallow. Be prepared for your stuff to fall out when you sit down. The side cargo pocket seams fall right at the knees. Very irritating. Whoever designed these should be made to wear them for eternity.
Love them. Tough, long lasting, handy. I have bought 3 or 4 sets for work.
My husband loves his pants. This is his first pair and will not be his last. The fit is perfect and the pockets on the side are the best. I'll order more soon.
Best work pants I have ever had
Awesome fit!
Compared to other relaxed fit pants I own, these are pretty snug - especially in the crotch. I even ordered a waist size higher than I usually wear since I could not try them on in advance - better a bit too big than too small, which they would have been if I had not ordered the larger size. The second or third time I wore them, they got a small hole in them.
As always, great quality. I buy these pants for my husband and they are his favorite. They might cost a little more than some other brands but they are definitely worth every penny! Since we aren’t buying these every few months like some other brands, they are very cost effective! I highly recommend them!
Great pants. Only criticism is for some reason the dark brown pants fit tighter then the tan pants......
Over all real good pants, fits me fine, the side pockets are a little far to the front which makes it a little awkward when bending at the knees with a phone in your pocket. But easy to adjust for that. I ordered a second pair after about a week in these.
Pants are pretty great. Although you should size up on the waist if you want to move comfortably. Looks good and has a nice fit.
These pants are really well made and they are tough. This is the way good clothing should be.
really like these. fit well and looks great. I like the durable feel and the apparent toughness of the material.
These are my husband’s favorite work pants!
Great quality and fit
Got these pants for riding my motorcycle, they fit great and are very durable too. Very happy with my purchase
I bought my first pair in 2013 and wore out the seat had to buy another so I bought two. Perfect size pockets and plenty of them.
Awesome fit. Everything expected.
Love these work pants. Perfect fit, easy to move in.
Great looking, slim look for cargo pants. would like a size 31 as 30 too small, 32 too large.
These are the best work pants I have ever purchased. Very rugged, flexible, lots of pockets and fit great!
They are comfortable and seem like they will wear very well. I have had other Carhart products and am very happy with the service I have gotten from them. These RIP stops may be tougher yet time will tell. Ed
My favourite work pants so far. Durable and comfortable.
They fit better than I expected, they’re super breathable and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.
Pants fit extremely small. I wear 32x32 in other Carhartt pants as well as all other brands I have. I could barely get these up and could not snap them by over an inch. The butt was also extremely tight.
I would recommend this product to anyone
Pants are great they are comfortable and very durable and the pockets are fantastic
I’m happy with these pants. At times it drives my wife crazy but I wear cargo pants to carry cargo—iPhone, camera, keys, prescription sunglasses in a crush proof case ( most important because of a previous crushing escapade).<br />Since I ordered online I was concerned about pocket capacity but I am most pleased. <br />The fabric is very strong so I don’t anticipate any internal pocket wear because of rubbing from keys, edges of glasses cases, etc. <br />I ordered a few in different colors for some variety too. <br />Thanks...a good product.
Durable, perfect fit
I've been wearing Carhartt work clothing for a long time. These new pants live up to Carhartt's reputation for making long wearing and comfortable work clothing. I've recently been working on a scaffolding. These pants have enough room so it is easy to go up and down. Plus they look really great!
They are awesome I wear Them every day??
My husband was fishing in Alaska and had to stop and buy a new pair of pants. This was the only pair that he could find that fit him well. He has worn them for the last two years and love them so much by the time they got rips in them I had to search for the exact pair of Carhart pants. Now they are the only type he wears.
The snaps on the right cargo pocket are so tight the snap ripped the pant when I tried to undo it for the first time. Comfy. I would like a smaller hammer loop on the left.
Nice durable pair of pants my only complaint is that the inseam of the cargo pockets rubb my knees raw would recommend long Johns or something to stop the rubbing
Purchased these for my husband. As soon as they arrived he tried them on and immediately said "Please buy me another pair. " He loves them!
Very comfortable. Very durable
Heavy duty rip stop. I climb ladders and kneel all day. So far these pants have kept up with the abuse.
My work these days varies from carpenters assistant to landscaping to crawling in the dirt under the house, and these pants work great and last better than any others - even when I bust through the knees (as I inevitably do), there’s the second layer and another few months of life in them. Lucky that somehow these nice heavy weight men’s pants fit my female form, so I’m now a repeat customer! Thanks for great consistent quality!
Love the way they feel I think so far they are the best work pants I’ve ever brought thank for the equality and the hard work your company put in to your product
Love these pants. I work for the railroad and these are the only pants that can stand up to the work we do. Usually last 7-8 months rather than average 1-2 months with jeans. Extra cargo pockets are great for making two three trips into one. 5/5 stars.
The reason I keep buying Carhartt is because they stay true to design, fit the same as my pair that's 10 years old and expect to get 10 years out of these
The color of the pants is a bit off from what is shown on the website, otherwise nice pants.
This quality pants suitable for work can also be wear at almost any occasion.
Fits perfectly and it’s very comfortable
My husband loves them he said they are comfortable and easy to work in
Perfect fit, side pockets are a must. And very deep as well.<br />Absolutely love them<br /><br />Cant change the bar for too small, true to size etc..
Great looking and fitting as well
Great work pants
Awesome Pants very comfortable
Comfy. Plenty of room. Handled the stress of steel tools rubbing in pockets for 1 years and still going. Cool for summer and warm enough to shovel snow in for a whole work day. If you love your pockets then dont hesitate.
Awesome I love it I’ll be buying more soon
Nice quality but tight in the bent knee area makes them a little unsafe for quick maneuvers on a roof.
Only thing I would change is that the utility pocket on left needs to be up a bit on the leg and need one just like it on rt leg but up just a little higher ..
Last pair I bought lasted about a week before there were holes in the knees.
Like these pants. I have purchased these before
These fit great, and look great. Only 4 stars because the knee pads keep sliding to the inside of the leg, so when you kneel down, only half your knee I'd protected by the padding.
I bought these for my son, he loves them. He has them in green too!!
Durable fabric good fit found hard to find size
I like these pants,. I don't wear them for work, just casual. They fit really nice.
A little too long
Good quality durable work pant
The snap buttons broke off as soon as I used the pockets on the side but y’all’s pants are awesome
I bought two pairs for my boyfriend, one for work and one for around the house and out with me. He has been wearing them and they last for a few years. I think he looks sexy in them too!! Nancy Divine
These are nice and made with thick fabric, plenty of pockets for tools. However, I ordered a 30” inseam, and these are a 32.5” inseam. I have to cuff them when I wear regular shoes, not much of an issue with work boots.
Fit great! Tough as nails!
Best most comfortable pants I have ever bought. I’m usually stingy and don’t pay more than $20 for a pair of jeans. Night one pair after a friend suggested them and loved them so much I bought 2 more
they fit great and have very good quality.
Great fit, would recommend going a size up on the waist only if you aren’t getting these for actual construction. Like myself, i got them just as cargo pants to wear when i go out. If you’re getting these for work, then go by your actual size. They look amazing and fit just the same.
Definitely a true fit. Not huge like majority of the carhartt's other lines made for giants.
Great cargo pants, and they are really strong but still medium-weight. Will definitely look to buy another pair.
These cargo pants work great for me I’m getting a few more in different colors. These are a perfect work pant I highly recommend!
These double front pants , along with knee pads inserted into the pant are fantastic .
Feels good, durable. It’s a heavy pant, after a couple washes, it still feels good
I would definitely recommend these.
Versatile garment!
A#1 PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not buy any other pants than these. High quality, durable. Second to none. I bought these for work , but ended up getting more for tactical training and hunting.
Great Product . I love the pants . Great for warehouse work. I am hooked . Thanks .
After accidentally purchasing professional series workpants, they ripped on me and I purchased these with the store credit. Much, much more heavier, thicker and durable feeling than the prof. Series. After a day of work these are what I have been looking for! Tough as nails double fronts are less comfortable than twill, but much more rugged and snag-proof. Always do your research, it was my fault for buying non-worksite quality pants. These are lightyears more durable.
I would highly recommend these pant they fit great I love all the pockets I plan on ordering couple more pair just need to add few more colors other than that fit great look nice
Very durable and good fit. I with the snaps were a bit larger. Especially like so many pockets.
I love these. I have bought them for many years, and I have a hard time finding anything else that meets my needs.
I like the rip stop material but it’s much thicker and stiffer than other rip stop pants I own, including carhartt scrubs. The seams and pockets are designed at odd angles and tend to move to your knee caps so that you are kneeling on hard seams. Very uncomfortable. There are also weird vents, flaps and extra layers of fabric in various locations. I’ve had tons of cargo and utility pants in my time and I can’t figure out what some of these features are for.
the waist is to short from the groin to the top for me. I will be returning them.
I bought these for my son for Christmas so he could have sealed pockets. He is a mechanic and sometimes on his knees. In two months, I needed to use iron on patches for the knees. Otherwise, excellent!
Great quality and very sturdy and comfortable
I really appreciate these pants. The knee pads are a lifesaver. I have now bought 5 pairs with knee pads. I love how you can wash with the knee pads in. What a time saver not having to put in and out like others I have purchased.
I work in an aircraft repair facility. We tear the planes down and put them back together. During that time we are inside and on top of aircraft that has hard, nonskid, and sharp edges. These pants have definitely lived up to their durability and comfort status. I'm actually looking to get another pair soon. Great pants, great price.
These work pants have double fronts and are comfortable to spend time kneeling in. Pockets are huge. I'll be watching for how they wear, especially at the knees where on other pants are the first place to fail.
Everything I expected and more!
My husband has always been comfortable in size 38 pants. These he says are a little snugger than he is used to but loves the rip stop brand.
I love these pants. I wore them during the terrible ice storms and they were warm and tough enough to keep me going while I cut trees and cleared road ways.
Quality: check<br />Appearance: check<br />Comfort: check<br />Price: reasonable
Ripstops are the way to go. Durable. Comfortable. Perfect for the world of Commerical Construction.
Love them comfortable snd durable highly recommend
these are just the best fit and feel for me they also last and last <br />They look and feel good on you
They seem to run a bit small in the waste
Great. Thank you.
High quality, extremely comfortable
These are a great pair of work pants!
Awesome quality and absolute toughness. I will buy more! Especially if you give me a discount coupon!!!!
They are awesome!..
These are made extremely well, and should last me for years in a heavy work/welding environment. <br />That being said, I have a few gripes.<br />1) There's no phone pocket. I don't know how a pair of work pants made in the 21st century don't have a phone pocket.<br />2) What they do have are 3 pencil/thin pockets on the right side. How many pencils/razor knives, etc. Is one person expected to need to carry? I ended up unstitching one of the seams between two of the pencil pockets which made it wide enough to put my phone into. 1/3 of the phone still sticks out, so it's subject to sparks and such, but it's in there securely enough to not fall out. HOWEVER.....<br />3) The cargo pockets on both sides (including the pencil pockets which I modified to hold my phone) don't begin till below the mid-thigh, and extend well below the knee. Because of this, of you carry anything in the pockets, it gets in the way of kneeling down. Really??? On work pants, you can't easily kneel down? Not only that, because of thebplacement of the pockets, when I knelt down one time, my knee bent right where my phone was (not because of my modification. It does the same with the phone in the main cargo pocket) and cracked my screen. Yay.<br /><br />I often feel that the pockets are designed by people that failed design school, and/or never actually wear the pants to see how the pockets actually work.
Not a fan of leg size or material. Runs small. I wear 33w 34 L in jeans had to get 36 w in these and the legs are huge and straight. Not normal carhart material. 5 pocket style fits much better wish they would add cargo pockets to a pair of five pocket style.
To be really honest here I find the to be cut low waisted every time I bend down to pick up anything my pants have to be pulled up. These are my work uniform pants. Carhartt has designed these pants for this with extra enforcement pockets to aid in hanging drills and so forth on even with wearing a large belt snug my pants have to be pulled up constantly. I’m not the only one with this complaint my other 4 co workers say the same damn thing. Oddly this isn’t a issue when I’m in my Fire Hoes pants.
They are ok but not as comfortable as the relaxed fit cargo pants that were discontinued last year.
Bought them for my boyfriend he absolutely lives them. Comfortable and durable
Best work pants as far as tough, comfortable, and double fronted. Cargo pockets suck! Whoever made these has never tried to carry tools in them. They’d be the best pants if they had the dungaree style side pockets that are handy for screwdrivers, cutters, pliers, levels, etc.
Not bad pants only thing I don't like about it is every little piece of fuzz And hair sticks to them
Most comfortable best fitting pants I've ever owned for work
best comfortable work pants
The first time I bought these pants, I was amazed at the features that allowed me to carry what I carry to work daily and remain comfy. For those of you familiar with the term "EDC" will know what I mean. Even the belt loops are wide enough for a good belt. The pants are tougher than any pants I have worn in the past and they do pretty good in the wash as well. My only complaint is they do seem to rip at the sewn areas (right across the thread holes) under extreme "pull" conditions. I have ripped two pairs of these pants over the last few years at the rear pocket seam (bending over) and the crouch (missing the last step on my ladder). Both extreme conditions but because the pros outweigh the cons, I use this as an excuse to buy a new pair. Over-all, the best work pants I have ever worn! Highly recommended.
I am trying to find pants to replace Levi’s so I have a place to keep my phone. These seem to be what I am looking for.
I have been wearing this exact Carhartt model/style of cargo pants for many years, now. Good fit, durable, and enough pockets for keys, change, wallet, cellphone, etc. Keep making them.
They fit great.
great pants love them
Wast quite sure when I picked them up how I was going to like them. Use to jeans, I wore them the first day and dang I should have bought them sooner. Great fit and look like the will be very durable.
One of my favorite pairs of pants I own. Love the fit, the pockets, the way they move when I walk. They are great pants. I own 3.
I bought these for my husband. He loves them...what more can I say?!
Much too tight.
Work everyday no issues have used this style for a long while.
I loved the fit of the pant. They were perfect!! There is a problem though with the cargo pockets coming too close to the knee. They sort of wrap around to the knee cap. Not good for a work pant.
Excellent fit, protective and super and expedient service from Carhartt!<br />5 Star service and treatment <br />RA.
I love Carhartt products. The waist size is no longer accurate for this style pants. Other Carhartt products and products from other manufacturers accurately size the waist. Length is still good. I recommend going 2 waist sizes above your actual size. Whatever you do, DO NOT remove the tags until you have tried them on, as Carhartt will not accept returns without tags.
Exactly as described.
Returned they wear unwearable. Runs way to small and tight in all the places an American man does not want. Tight in rear, thigh and groin not comfortable at all and made for small tiny people.
awesome pants
My husband loves them and wants to order some more.
Would definitely recommend, true fit, first couple wears they have that rough feel to them but after a couple times being washed with fabric softener they are perfect, and keep me warm in the harsh Michigan winter, have two pairs and will be purchasing more.
I ordered the same size as my best fitting year-old carhartt pants. The two pants I received are the same size on the label but much smaller in reality. I can’t even wear them.
These pants are way to tight around my knees.
Fantastic The look of the texture everything about these pants are great best company out there
Great fit and very durable.
I live the pants but cannot use them as they run like two inches small in the waist. I cannot return them as I as lready removed tahs etc. It is unfortunate because orherwise they are awesome.
Very well-made pants -ran a bit smaller than other Carhart cargos and not as light weight as I thought. <br />Overall great product
Nice pants. Thick cloth seems much stronger material and construction than previous type. I expect longer life from them just from initial impression. Style and fit good. Like the pockets and colors.
Returned the pants. Ordered my standard size 34W x 32L. When I got the pants and tried them on, the waist and length were fine. But the seam in the hindquarters was small. So much so it felt like the pants were giving me a wedgie.
Ideal pants for work just a little on the thin side so in cold weather you’ll need longJohns and they will be tight so go big.
Get real Carhartt. For a long time, people have complained the cargo pockets are so low, that stuff we put in them bangs on our knees. For quite a while you've said 'we will pass the information to our design department' but nothing has changed. Carrying a smallish item in a cargo pocket, like my fixed blade knife in a sheath is not a problem; however, when I put bear spray in the pocket, it's unbearable. Anything thick put in the cargo pocket will rub on the knees, because the pocket are 2" too low. I've resorted to rolling up a washcloth to raise the larger items up, so it will stop chafing my leg. If you won't modify the product, please at least update the description. Let me help: 'Carhartt regular fit (not relaxed) rip-stop pants with decorative cargo pockets for your tiny notepads or other thin items.'
Pros - Nice work pants, fit is true to size in waist and length. Only used for 1 two-week hitch (14-days) but they seem to be well made and will probably standup well to oil field work; most carhartt products do! <br />Cons - pants are very stiff even after multiple (10 ) wash’s with tide and Downey. Only other negative is when kneeling the cargo pocket seems are across the knee and dig into your knees (I don’t have the knee pads).
Seriously the best work pants I've found in over 25 years of working outside.
The pants are good but the knee pads doesn't fit in some pairs because of the pocket stitching. Very frustrating.
Waist sizes seem to run small. I ordered 33x32, and couldn't wear them. Measured 31.5" from button to button hole.
I like him a lot I wish there were lighter weight pants especially for the summertime
Extremely durable while being very comfortable
Best work pants
Thick, warm. Great fit. This is my 2nd pair. Love them.
Great fit and very comfortable, just need to have more colors available
Durable pant's that hold up to lot's of movement during the workday and don't rip/tear easily if at all.
The first pair I ordered were 32 which is what all my pants are. I couldnt even come close to buttoning them. 33 fit but still tight. The knee pockets are sewn that the pads are on the inside your leg and at best cover half of your knee cap. Every time I bend down i have to twist the pants so that the knee pad is where my knee is. My legs are normally shaped. Guess I can't retun now.
As others have noted, there are a couple of things that could make these a lot more comfortable for day-to-day use.<br /><br />The side pockets are quite deep/long, and start too far down the leg. As such, you need to bend over to put stuff in/take out from the cargo pockets, and the pocket seam ends up right at the knee, which would be annoying/uncomfortable if you do that for any length of time. <br /><br />If anyone from Carhartt is listening, it would be much better if the top of the side pockets started about 2" higher, and the pockets were about an inch shorter. That would solve both problems identified above.<br /><br />For those who complain about using knee pads with these pants, I don't know what they are talking about, as these are not designed for pad inserts, as there is no opening in the doubled-up portion of the front to insert them.<br /><br />For my purposes, which is winter, around-the-house, dog-walking jeans, they will perform more than adequately. I'd have preferred a slight taper to the leg, but given that they are designed to be work pants, I understand that straight legs are probably more appropriate.<br /><br />Overall fit it is good, and would work well for the more athletically built guys (I am more of a normal/slim build).
They seem too stiff to try on with the double front. Only available in black in our size: length 36 and 36 waist.<br />They look sturdy.
Tried these because Duluth stopped making their original fire hose pants in green. Not sure I'd really call this Moss color green, I actually thought they sent me grey ones until I checked the tag. Overall the pants are fine, seem durable, fit well. The cargo pockets have too "specific" pockets and they don't work great for me personally. They're also very low on the leg and items put in can interfere with bending at the knee/are very uncomfortable when kneeling or squatting. For the price they seem like they'll last, and I'll continue wearing them, but my search for the perfect work pants for me continues.
When I purchased these pants, the seller told me that I could insert knee pads into the doubled pocket, but they did not have the knee pads in stock. It turns out that the cargo pockets are for some reason stitched in a way that does not allow the knee pads to be inserted. I only realized this after purchasing another pair to give to my father-in-law along with a set of knee pads and my wife giving me a set as well.<br /><br />I used a pair of cargo pants with built-in knee pads for a decade and loved them, but they're not available in the USA, so I was happy to find that Carhartt had a replacement. Alas, they decided on an odd order of operations, that blocks the knee pads from fitting.
Perfect size and fit. Great quality and durability.
Got my husband 2 different colors. Loves them!
Excellent work pant
I bought these and like the fit and style.
Excellent fit, feels tough but still flexible.
The fit is perfect, the color is great and so is the quality<br />I recommend these pants
Ripstop cargo pants fit great, they were everything I was looking for. Ripstop
These pants are great. I work in construction doing lots of framing and siding. I wore them several times a week and they last over a year. The snaps on the cargo pockets are much better than velcro. The fit is great for moving around on a construction work site.
My grandson loved them.
I had two pair, Moss and Dark Coffee. Both fit me well, and I am very happy with them. I got two more pair of the same size, another in Moss and one in Black. Unfortunately the black pair didn't fit well at all. It was noticeably tighter in the waist and not as long. From my research this is a common problem across clothing companies, as they do not take into account the shrinkage the dye causes after the pants are cut. Again, all other colors fit true to size, this is only an issue with the black pants, and my only critique of the product. Hoping Carhartt will allow me to exchange these for another size, or color if need be.
Nice looking pants I do not use them for work. I use them to go out in. Very well made
Excellent choice in functional utility workwear ; like the fit
Greatest pants carhartt makes. Got the crotch gusset and plenty of useful pockets. The double front is also a great feature.
Good fit and comfortable. Looks good and wears well
Bought these and loved wearing them. Later bought the Carhartt knee pads as these pants are double front. However, the pockets are sewn through the double front so the knee pads can’t be inserted over your knees. Best I could manage was to get them in on the inside of the legs. Pretty useless there. Both legs were the same and it was not just a random seam. All the pocket stitching went through the double front. Would love to have a pair after the manufacturer learns how to assemble them correctly.
Size is shorter in length than my lined ones by at least an inch. Same size. Why different lengths?
Pants are as advertised; sturdy material, good quality workmanship and well designed pocket. I’m 6’ 3” 195 lbs.; ordered 34 x 34. Length is good; waist is snug (should have ordered 35x34) but will keep and hope not to get fatter. Overall I’m very satisfied
These pants are worthless. The cargo pocket is sown through the knee pad slot and you cant fit them in. Only bough these pants for the knee pads and I will be returning immediately.
Really great pair of pants almost bullet proof . I will have this exact pair of pants when I leave this earth that's how confident I am in your product . You would have had five stars if all the snaps worked on the pockets the right one on bottom closure doesn't seat well and comes off easy .
My sil loves these pants.
Carhartt is always a good name however I don't like that these pants are soo stiff. The material used is hard and when I bend the pocket hits my knee and rubs hard. I hope they soften with ware.
Highly recommend these pants. Wear Carhartt every day and have owned many pairs of Carhartt pants over the years. These are my favorite. Fit great, rugged, many pockets. I hope Carhartt keeps making them!!!
They are the only pants I wear
I love these pants. Still too stiff to take a picture. I’ll share a picture in one month after a few washes
The only work pant I wear no matter what I’m doing from day to day.
So the seam is placed so that when I kneel it lines up with my knee. So it's like kneeling on a stone.<br />Not so great. More the seam? Or move my knee?
My son they feel good except when he kneels down. It does not feel good behind the knee.
Absolutely great [email protected]
Best work pants I ever owned! Durable
They are everything that i wanted is a pair of pants. Very durable and holding up very well.
I love these pants. I work in IT and I swear all my pants wear out after a few months just above the knees. These ones have been holding up fantastically as my mainstay work pants. Only issue is the lighter colors show stains very easy, so if that's important to you keep it in mind.
Warm, rugged, fits well, and very functional. Like the cargo pockets for phone, tools, etc. The snap keeps the phone from falling out when I am kneeling or moving. Worth the money.
Comfortable pants, fit well, would recommend
I love these pants. They are extremely comfortable and functional. Definitely ready to be put to work.
I really like the pants, fit great but the double knee for knee pads don't accommodate the knee pads very well and won't stay in proper position due to the position and stitching of the cargo pockets.
They are amazing my husband loves them, but they fade to fast
Material and style are good however the fit not my preference. The waist is very low and not "relaxed", the low cut is very uncomfortable TO ME, some people like to wear their pants with the underwear showing, these pants will get you halfway there.
A great pair of very rugged pants with plenty of storage. I appreciate at the special touches, such as the reinforced bottom lip of the right side front pocket. They feel like they'll last forever. They are also surprisingly warm, and I don't have to think about layering to a much lower temperature than i would with jeans. I'd order more pair if only my size and favorite color combo were in stock!
Great pants, needs a knee pad for it, the ones you make don't fit
Good quality. Black pants fade quickly
The most comfortable durable pants !!! Definitely will buy again
Products that were ordered from Carhartt are wonderful and Dawn made it very simply. Dawn is knowledgeable and a great employee.
Very comfortable and flexible for working
Great service and product
Fits great and their really comfy. Also really good work pants.
Great pants, not my first pair, but they don't carry them in any stores around here anymore. Nice thick quality material.
1. Both side pockets are too low they need to be about 4" higher up the leg.<br />2. The right side pocket is placed forward (the left seam lines up with the center of my knee cap) so that anything in that pocket gets bent or broken when I kneel. <br />3. the outer pockets are too small for a cell phone.
Great work pants
enjoy the amount of pockets and layout, they feel strong in every aspect, need to break them in.
I bought these pants for my husband. He lives in them. He finds them very comfortable and loves this particular style of pants. I would have given them five stars across the board if not for the fact that they run longer than usual. I recommend these pants and the company.
The knee pads (purchases the correct size for pants) don't fit. Carhartt knows about this and has done nothing to fix it. 42 waist, large pads. pads too big
Love them!
thank you for the pants
They run LONG. I tried on six different Carhartt pants not finding my size in five different stores in WYOMING. All of those were a full inch (or more) shorter in 34 than the cotton ripstop cargo. Other wise GREAT; double front
Great fit, very well constructed. Love them!
Very durable pant, good for wearing to construction work.
I adore the durability of Carhartt products. I was somewhat disappointed in this item due to the lower leg cargo pocket placement. It's a bit too low. Cellphones and such in the leg pockets tend to roll over and get n the way with leg bending. Its really annoying, both trying to work and after hours riding on my motorcycle - anything in those pockets just finds a way around to the inner knee. If they brought the pockets up 2-3 inches - they'd be perfect. Until then, I score them mediocre at best.
Recently bought two pair of the rip stop work pants and one of the pair has the side pockets and double knee sewn on way too low. Pockets are way far down my leg and when I kneel down there is a huge seam on my knee cap now. I have bought the same pants from carhartt for 10 years. Might have to look somewhere else.
I love the pants. But some of the snaps on the pockets do not work
I have been wearing ripstop for years now and this is the only pants i will buy for work. Keep up the good work carhartt.
My husband loves them
Excellent love them!
I could not insert pads in the knee pockets becasue the stitching for the regular pants pockets closed off half of the knee area. I am returning them.
i have been wearing these for as long 10 years or so,if they were made that long ago, they will hold up to real work..
Comfortable, durable and my wife says it makes my butt look good.<br />Now need to buy another pair.
Size runs a bit small and fabric is heavy and stiff. Maybe after a few washings they may soften up some. Lots of pockets and deep, which is a big plus.
The best good looking Cargo pants the only ones my Son will wear. Perfect for Ranch work too.
good quality durable work pants. Advertised loose fit...NOT loose fit. These are Skinny legged pants.
Comfortable and great quality
Solid work pants with really deep pockets.
Pants look great. Love the double knee. Im 6'1" 210lbs. Thicker in the middle.<br />These are not relaxed fit. Which in turn makes the side pockets useless. The side pocket is a tad low in my opinion.<br /><br />Put a gusset in the crotch and that will help with the "straight cut" of these pants. <br /><br />Overall a solid 3.8. Maybe i should lose 10 lbs and they will fit better LOL.
Seem to run a little bit smaller than what they say they are!!
Bought these for my husband and he loves them. They look great, fit good, and will last him a while.
Durable and gorgeous
Awesome pants-I work for that RR in maintenance-clothes get destroyed easily in my job. But these are as tough as they come
Love carhartt
Awesome fit!
Fit perfectly very comfortable
Greatest pants! Fits great for work!
We have purchased this product many times. Always stands up to outside working. Very durable
Looked great but had to send back as the length was too long. Ordered 30” and tag said 30” but was actually more like a 32”. Even with my boots the bottom was dragging in the dirt. Would have ordered a 28” to compensate but that wasn’t an available length. <br />Maybe this pair was just mistagged ?
Love them. Inseam is a little larger than expected
He loves them! Ordering two more pairs now!
These are sturdy pants that should serve me well in my volunteer gardening task. I have worn them just once. They were rather stiff, so it will take a couple of washings to loosen them up. The one problem I found is that the cargo pockets wrap around too much at the knee. The rubbing from the pocket stitching gave me a blister on my knee. Maybe this will be resolved as I get the pants worn in and my knee toughened up.
I highly recommend these pants. Ample pickets and room to move.
Really like the pants. Comfortable and fit well. Like to have some more but they won’t have any my size until July??
Good quality. Fit runs small. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars
Carhartt is a really good product it’s heavy material makes it great for working outside in the winter months unlike other pants I bought before looking forward to purchasing more products from the carhartt company in the future
Great work pants for bending and getting dirty.
Nice pants, comfortable and durable. I bought 4 pairs and on 2 pairs one of the side pocket rivets doesn’t snap closed - kind of a bummer. When I bend down on my knees sometimes the corner of the outside-side pocket lands under my knee and is painful. However that might just be my body type. Had great customer service as well.
Been ordering them for over 10 years now The only pants ill wear has a small pocket i use it for my flip phone, Keep making them ill have no where to carry my phone if you dont. The pants last a long time also GREAT
more pockets than i know what to do with but they are well designed and very functional.
Great pants for the price. Durable and easy to care for.
They fit good and are very functional , great pants
Great sturdy comfortable and useful pants. love the pockets
My fiancé loves these pants! As a contractor he is constantly in situations where his clothing is subject to damage. Carhartt is the perfect form of clothing as they are the most durable. He loves all the pockets on the cargos to hold his gadgets.
Great pair of pants. Great fit and very durable.
These were my favorite work pants for electrical jobs. They seemed to have changed the leg pockets, which are now a few inches lower, thus lowering the tools in the pockets. Now the pockets are too low to bend my knee with a screwdriver or pliers, and the knee pads I use aren't high enough to kneel on now.
Knee pads aren’t an option because the cargo pockets are stitched through the double front. The bottom of the cargo pockets is pretty low allowing contents to bang around my knee all day, which is a nice distraction from the corner of the pocket seem that rides my knee cap and is a joy to kneel on. It’s obvious in the picture now that I know what to look for... won’t happen again.
I love these Pants. They fit great and are comfortable yet sturdy.
Terrible. Carhartt sizes are never right. I wear a size waist 34 in every other brand pants imaginable. I know carhartt rims small. Ordered a 35 waist and could not even button the pants. I have tried and tried and tried with carhartt bit I give up. Never again will I ever order carhartt pants ever again. Probably wasted over a thousand dollars over the years buying carhartt pants and every time they do not fit.
I wear a size 33 waist and need a 35 in these pants
well made, has many pockets,
I wear this ripstop pants for last almost 10 years. Their durability , amount of pockets and style is unbeatable compare to other similar products on the market these days. . I have several of them in my closet. Good wind stoppers, weather breakers , that keep your legs warm in any condition! These pants are good for work, as for hiking /camping or just for regular daily use. The price goes little bit over the average, but the quality is worth to spend that money!
Great pants. Fit well (I’m 6’4 190lbs wearing 32l 32w). Little lighter weight than the other double fronts I have, good for warmer weather. I get a little nervous about exposed metal buttons brushing up against stuff while I’m working, thus the 4-stars.
VERY HAPPY WITH THESE PANTS. THIS IS MY FOURTH TIME THAT I HAVE PURCHED THEM. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, YET EXTREMLY DURABLE.
The fabrication of the right leg - in the pants, has the pocket on the leg sewn to the front of the leg and not to the side. This proves a bit uncomfortable.
So far they are really working well, with a great true to size fit.
Though as NAIL !
I have only worn for two weeks so far so good no complaints
Totally love them, and the fact I'm 6'4" 160lbs soaking wet makes it even better that I can get a 32×36 cut... I'm a arborist by trade and these Carhartt psnts csn take the lashing...P.s. I need an awesome tactical "shoulder" or "chest" bag... Yellow... HOOK IT UP.... I'll continue to buy Carhartt fot the next 22 years of my career!!!!
Nice fit fashionable
Nothing relaxed about the fit
The Cargo jeans are really great, with one slight exception; the side pocket seam is exactly at the knee, causing abrasions on my old knee caps. I'm not sure how to fix this, but intend to buy some more. David A Williams
These have been my go to work pants for years. However, the weight and quality of the fabric has diminished since my last purchase several years ago. . These, I predict, will not last nearly as long. They don’t even feel like cotton anymore. Too bad.
Fit's perfect and comfortable
After the first wash / dry, I now have a nice looking pair of high water pants. Buy length a size longer
They would be great except the cargo pockets are to low making it impossible to kneel down if I have tools in them
The designer seems to believe that my thigh with a 30" inseam is the same length as someone's thigh who has a 36" inseam, placing the cargo pockets half below my knees...the front seam for the cargo pockets also bisects my knee caps, making it important to kneel very carefully when I have to set up the rack to lift a car/truck...I love the way they fit otherwise, and they look great...this is the last pair of this particular style I buy from Carhartt, though I will continue to buy your (mostly) great work pants, as this is the first time I've had cause to complain, though the lack of availability of 35" waist in much of your offerings does tend to limit the scope of my options.
Great fit! Plenty of pockets!
Second pair of these, very nice! Wind resistance because of the material helps make these pants a nice fit for northeast fall weather. Comfortable and nice geometry.
This is the second pair of these I've owned. I use them mostly when I'm doing yardwork, putting around the garage, or home repair. The first pair lasted years and years.
I am usually a blue jean wearing guy but after I got a pair of Carhartt pants. I've switched they have amazing fit, they look great in rugged
Fantastic. Good fit and excellent quality
These are great pants for work with a double knee and pocket for knee pads. Plenty of pockets for tools on the job site.
Great pockets. They’re just right. Looks great too, but seems to wear through very quickly where it’s strained like wallet in back pocket, glasses case in left leg tool pocket. I’d like to see the same design in regular heavy duck.
The knee pad won’t unroll because of the cargo pocket returned it immediately
They are really snug in the thighs and crotch area
Very good quality....will by again. My husband loves them.
I hate cargo type pants and pockets, My wife bought me a pair of these randomly, and I was very pleased, and have since outfitted my entire maintenance staff with these pants as our daily uniform pants.<br />The pants are durable, yet comfortable. The cargo pockets are well designed and well placed on the pant so they are comfortable with little rubbing or discomfort, even with cellphone in one side and tools in the other.<br />I am even wearing these for off work activities as well.<br />Good pant, fair price.. Can't go wrong.
Very comfortable fit and durable, full size side pockets
There’s nothing I don’t love about these pants. Durable, pockets for all my tools at work and they are much cooler than coveralls. Thank you
Love them!! Will order them again
These pants are comfortable and feel like they're bombproof. Will definitely be buying more.
love the double fronts !!!
I got a size 34 30 in the color moss for my boyfriend as his gift and the quality was amazing, especially for how much I paid for it! You can tell how good the quality is just looking at it when you open the package. Did free shipping and it got here within 6 business days. Worth it.
First impressions, awesome and functional pockets. First wear, pencil pockets are on the knees making difficult to use and a lot of loose stitching. The main pockets, fit, feel are great and look forward to a long life of use!
Good value for the price.
The pants feel very durable, and not so heavy as to be a burden wearing them. The double layer ripstop front is a big plus for me, as I spend a lot of my time clearing thorny brush from my timber land (e.g. multiflora rose and prickly ash).
My husband loves these pants for work. They are durable, not overly heavy and very comfortable.
These are my favorite pair as of right now. There comfortable with a durable feel. I just recommend them to the guys on my crew at work. Two thumbs up.
Great quality
Great pants. They never disappoint.
Live in Alaska--This type of Carhartt pants, (STYLE #B342), are town, and country. Plenty of pockets for both realities, made with materials that can take much abuse. My local store discontinued them for other light weight city dude type Carhartt pants not as well made, nor as functional for both town, and country. Sheesh. After testing one pair for a year of daily use, i.e; cutting firewood, bush wacking, chores, etc, the only major problem was the development of a rotting hole in the crotch. Stitched it up, and all is well. Expect to get way more good use from them as down-and-dirty pants, saving the newly acquired exact replacement ones for general, and as such..; more presentable pants for usual town, and country wear. As for carrying things; I use every pocket, and have nothing else in my reality to require even more pockets. Enough is truly enough. Need to hang a hammer, done. Handful of nails, done. Smart Phone, done, wallet, done, etc., done!!!! The rip-stop weave, and generous extra knee area's additional lapping piece is old school Carhartt, and much appreciated.., even the drain hole is retained. Who ever designed this type of Carhartt trousers should get a bonus. My color choice was O.D.Green to better fit my lifestyle. Could I wear an office shirt, and a tie with them.., yes. However, I don't work in an office, lol. I'll wear a 't'-shirt, a flannel, or wool shirt, a hoody, fleece uppers, up to a parka in order to layer properly for Alaskan seasons. Deal is they are good enough looking as well, as functional, and strong. The price is reasonable too.
Great pants! Love the deep pockets. <br />This is my fifth pair. Will continue buying them.
Excellent work pants for sure!
Fit great, love the material. They were a bit longer than expected but no worries actually prefer them this way.
Best pants ever!!!!
My first pair came from a thrift store. I quickly realized that these are about the best pair of pants I've ever owned - as tough as jeans, but much more comfortable. I soon realized I could use them for work, for exploring the outdoors, even for general dress in the event I needed to look presentable - all without having to change into something else. I quickly bought another pair from Amazon and then my brother gave me a gift certificate to buy something from Carhartt - so naturally, I bought two more pair. Thanks, Carhartt!<br /><br />~Manfred
These are great and comfortable. I normally wear a 34 36 but in carhartt I wear a 36 36 and they fit perfectly, so try them on before you buy.
I bought three pairs (different colors) of these pants back in December of 2018. I like them but I bought them too short. So I bought three more (so I don't have to alternate between my other cargo work pants to keep them all the same) a size longer. Plenty of pockets for convenience.
These pants are great, love the pockets on these. Im a huge fan of the metal snap closure on the pockets. I wish carhartt would put the snap closure on all their cargo pants. These pants are built tough, just like ever other carhartt product.
Comfortable, durable, and affordable.
These pants have quality fabric and fit ... great pants!
All around good pants! I wear them when I’m skating and also for work. Only complaint is the material can be a little rough on the inner thigh
great work or fishing pants
Great work pants 100% Carhartt at its best
I love them. My first pair of carhartts for work
Waist runs about 2 sizes too small, and the seat does not feel “relaxed” at all
Perfect! Thank you!
High quality pants my husband loves to use for casual outings and working construction
I love these pants. I have about 10 pair I use mostly for work. I only buy the "Black" and "Dark Coffee" colors. I order size 30X30. I've been buying these pants for about 7 years.<br /><br />I've purchased the "Dark Coffee" at a retailer years ago and it fit PERFECTLY...then I started ordering the "Dark Coffee" directly from Carhartt and they're HUGE. I had to have a local taylor bring in the waist AND hem the length. <br /><br />The "Black" pair I bought directly from Carhartt is true to size in the waist but, too long. The "Dark Coffee" has a more "Relaxed Fit" than the slimmer fit of the "Black." <br /><br />Pants are "Made in Nicaragua."
The only work pants I buy.
This is exactly what I was looking for in a work pant. These pants are durable, seemingly light weight for all the material in the pant and, I like the color. I especially like the area for adding a knee pad (which I bought at Carhartt). I am constantly having to kneel at work (usually on cement).
Durable material, shoddy construction. About a half dozen stitches were loose fresh from the box.
No doubt bowing to the fashion industry's effort to promote "plumbers' butt," I noticed that the waist band ("rise") of the pants have been dropped about a inch lower than my old ones (which fit just fine). Being a 32 x 32, not much of a problem, however, you larger guys may want to be cautious (or not).
Durable ultra strong tackles any work
A friend of mine was having difficulty locating his size in pants. He was specifically interested in replacing his worn out cargo pants. I told him have no fear I would locate a pair for him! I googled cargo pants and the Carhartt website came up. Walla, he loves these new cargo pants! One pair isn’t enough so we will order additional ones soon.Thank you Carhartt for making this purchase effortless for me! Your brand is of highest quality on the market.
Pants are the long version of the short pants version, which rapidly sold out, except the double covering over the upper part of the leg area. I found that the double covering made the pants too warm for me so I cut off the extra layer and removed it. All the pockets and extras really make it a good all around pants for folks that desire a lot of pockets. The crotch area is a take off on the Duluth pants and really makes for a nice roomy fit.
Wear them daily in my security job. They look good and last years. Wouldn’t even consider changing brands.
I have only worn new Carhart's a few times so I can't give a good review on durability or quality. Can give a better review later once I wear pants longer.
Was looking for a good quality pair of durable cargo work pants and I found them. The only minor issue for me is that the bottom pants pocket hits me around my knee. Thus I am limited on the items I can put in that pocket. The other thing is their is only 4 colors available and I was hoping for some type of blue. I have a gained a few pounds in recent years so I looked for a relaxed fit and ordered it in a waist size 2 inches larger than the pants I was replacing. Maybe those other pants were much more relaxed than I had realized. Still overall a decent fit with plenty of room in the legs.
Great for concrete work
The worst part I had to get a 30” inseam when I usually look for 28” inseam. I have a hard time believing that 28” inseam wouldn’t sell as fast as 30” inseam. The pants were not comfortable wearing them for my farming chores. They felt like I was wearing weighted pants. I love the rip stop material, but not in cotton. Lighter in weight is better.
Great pair of pants, a little expensive, but has a lot of pockets and feels great on me.
Did not like the fit. Items in front pocket(right Side) fell out when sitting
I've boughton 2 pairs. both tore easly within weeks.
The pocket at the knee is not a good place. Every time you bend or kneel you have to remove what ever is in there to prevent it from being broken or smashed into your knee. Other than that pants ate comfortable
The pants are built for toughness And durability for sure. In using them now for several weeks I have to say there are some design flaws. Cargo pants extra pockets are there to carry things you need in addition to the regular pockets. I have found these cargo pockets are to far to the front of the pants and also to low. As a result I have to empty those pockets. The seams also get in the way of my knees when kneeling as a result of the cargo pockets being forward and to low.
I love them. These are replacements for ones I have had for years! They just don’t seem to wear out. My wife likes them because they are easy to are for and any kind of stain seems to wash out completely. And most of all, they are comfortable and look good.
My son loves these pants. We have been buying them for years and will continue to do so.
cargo pockets are too low and if you kneel seem is right in knee cap. if you sit down cargo pockets are just above knee to below knee so cant have stuff in pocket to sit.
Hi , I usually wear Levi’s to work in, but after trying these, I am very impressed! Fabric, durability, and comfort. I am now a Carhartt Man for life!!
Quality was 100 percent as usual, only thing that was a bit lacking was the relax fit . This pant is more of a regular fit .
Very happy. Waist fit was good, inseam seemed longer than 30”, but ok with the length.<br />Buying experience was great, shipped in Carhart easy open package??<br />Will buy a second one.
Great work pants; they have many useful pockets and are very comfortable after 2nd or 3rd usage.
Great working pants just not for the Summer
Great product. Their size calculation was true to fit.
Great, fast service. Product as always fantastic.
The best work pant for my job.
I got these for my husband who is an electrician. He has been outside in the florida heat digging holes and other construction shenanigans so I have been worried about him staying cool. He says he really likes these and encourages me to get him more. I think I will :)
Amazing look the pants give and great storage in the pockets.
Cargo pockets too small. Contents press against legs for uncomfortable fit.
I bought one pair of these pants on a whim for my job. After a year of putting them to the test in the field (construction trades and tree work), they are my favorite pair and I've ordered 5 more. They beat any jeans that I've owned, hands-down. I've tried some lighter weight pants for the summer months, but these are honestly breathable enough to make their comfort and durability far worth the little bit of extra weight.
If your work is involved in crouching down or any sort of knee work, I would not recommend these as they aren't very flexible on the knees.<br />They are relatively uncomfortable, do not breathe well, obviously, because of the material. They tend to pull/friction when walking. <br /><br />Pockets are a decent size, side pockets feel about 2-3 inches too low and the crease of the side pocket can dig into the front of the knees while driving. <br /><br />I do like the pocket reinforcement for measuring tapes and blades. <br />They have kept their color after a few washes.
Cargo pockets are located in an extremely awkward position, and anything in them will bang into your knee when you walk. Also longer straight cargo prevents knee from bending.
Very good quality Product I would strongly recommend it to friend And coworkers.
Great working pant. However, it’s material is not as flexible as other brands.
Nice pants, feel like they will hold up for a while. They're not the best for 90 degree days as they are thicker than a standard pair of dickies pants. But for 75 to 80 and below they are great. Lots of flexibility.
Great pants I like them , I wish they were compatible with the Carhartt knee pads
The cargo pocket snaps are poor quality. They are hard to fasten but then they pop open on their own.
These pants are working great for my husband. He loves them and so he wants me to order more for him. He works outside all day testing soil and he gets pretty dirty and muddy. These pants launder well and he enjoys wearing them.
Love them, great for working in the yard and garden.
These pants are very comfortable and durable. They usually require very little ironing if any at all. The cargo pocket works well for concealing my handgun.
Fit is just right. Look nice, all pockets work well.
My husband loves this type of pants that’s why I got them . It’s hard to find in the stores . I appreciate to be able to be able to order them online and how quickly I got it . Thank you for everyone that worked during this difficult time . <br />I’m trying to put true to size on a question but it’s not letting me .
The side had a hole already with only 1 time wear
??????????
Nice but they don’t fit me anymore since I washed them
Nice fit......comfortable and sturdy
Excellent pants, tough, fit very well. Carhartt sizing guide is spot on!
Fit great, right out of the bag!
Well, I got these pants to put in the knee pad. Unfortunately, the cargo pocket is sewn through the knee pad opening so the knee pad will not fit. Totally bummed. Also, your customer service said I can not return them since I had worn them before testing out the knee pad. My bad, I assumed Carhartt had sold me what I paid for.
Comfortable and durable, will definitely buy more. Only thing, I wish the cargo leg pockets had just a bit more room otherwise excellent!!
Good look and color. Heavy duty pants for work with easy access pockets.
My new go to pant...only wish they came in Navy
My husband loves these pants. They wear extremely well. He is a home remodeler and has owned his own business for 45 years. These pants are the best work pants he has ever worn.
My husband has been wearing these pants for years.
Extremely thick definitely meant for a colder weather
These are good quality pants, but I would prefer them in heavy weight canvas instead of the ripstop. Seems if I like a design everyone stops making it. I do like the knee pad pockets and also the rivet stops but all of the ripstop material blows out at the pocket corners and is just too thin for abrasion wear..
True to form outstanding pants
Great pair of pants for the summer time..more than enough pockets for me to loose my things in lol. But really great pants keep me cool in the summer, easy to move in im up and down on a ladder all day long. Highly recommended
Very nice fit, not too baggy like the wrangler rustler. Also the pocket openings are larger and more ergonomic to get stuff out versus the wranglers. Been wearing them for a month and they are great. Also these pants can hold a real hammer on the side leg. Couldn’t say the same for Wrangler. Don’t know what they were thinking putting such a small loop.
Very comfortable and durable
These pants are great, overall. However, the biggest complaint I have, like everyone else, the cargo pockets are too long. The corner creases in the bend of the knee. I will try a different pair of pants on my next order.
These are a real nice, beautiful looking work pants<br /> You really feel a warrior in them. <br />Up to now the only adjustment for me would be the lower pockets that are near the knees. When kneeling, the corners of the pocket tend to go right under the knee and hurt. But you can just move it and it works out. It is not much of a problem but could be a little better. Also my main thing about all the different carhartt I own is the belt sockets. There are only 2 on the side and 1 in the back. When wearing a felco with it's sheath and also I have a hori hori with sheath on the other side, the belt will slide out when taking the pants off, the next day I'll have the rearrange the felco and hori hori into the belt. If it had 1 extra belt socket on each side it would keep the belt in.
I love them, they fit wonderfully and they’re super comfortable and the functionality is perfect.
Durable and lightweight, perfect for summer work pants. Pocket placement is a little close to the knee which can make it weird kneeling with certain things in them. I like them a lot though, my choice for a tough summer work pant.
There is nothing 'relaxed' about the fit of said pants. They are as 'skinny' as they come. The average teen would have a hard time wearing a pair of these for an entire day.<br /><br />Keeling, crouching, climbing, etc? Unless you are in the bottom 10% BMI it's just wishful thinking. Ripstop cotton doesn't have any give or stretch especially when doubled-up.<br /><br />The front, back and multiple cargo pockets could only hold single sheets of paper as an 1" thick item would bulge and stretch the pant leg or the derriere as if you were wearing Robin Hood tights.<br /><br />You cannot get the next size larger since the only true dimension of the pants is the waist one; the inseam is also some 1/2" short.<br /><br />10% more of anything would've been just right.<br /><br />Is it the fashion trends or the financial bottom-line?<br /><br />Carhartt used to be famous for their active/work clothing; you can't possibly work while wearing these pants. What's going on?!<br /><br />This is very disappointing.
Comfortable
These are great work pants!
Great pants lots of pockets and a great look
I am a chef
Very good pants. Highly recommended.
Love the fit and look and the pockets are just right , but they ripped on me first time I wore them. OH WELL.
I got more than one pair of the B-342 style cargo work pants. Had used my last pair for several years and got to love them. This style has all the extra pockets to hold my pencils, screw drivers, circuit checker, phone, wallet, keys and more. The reinforcement on the upper pocket for my tape measure is spot-on. They are very comfortable in hot or cold conditions. I was amazed how well all the pocket linings held-up on my previous ones. End-up with all kinds of stuff in them. The double front portion never got worn. I am looking forward to a long heavy use for the new pants.<br />On top of all that, the Customer Service at Carhartt is far above what you might expect. And the on-line ordering is very functional. Pants arrived three days later!
Bought a pair for everyday of the week.
Exactly what we expected
Waist size not consistent with other Carhartt pants
Hubby uses the flannel lined, ripstop pants all winter long and wanted to try the lighter weight for summer. Very pleased. Fit well, lightweight is cooler for outdoor work. Same great quality.
My husband loves these pants they are so comfortable
The material is way too thick. Husband works indoors maintenance and he can’t wear them inside because they are so thick.
Good fit. Comfortable
Very good pair of pants!
Perfect fit and up to the task !
Too small in waist. Returned.
Very comfortable and fit good. Legs are a little tight down towards the bottom. Wish they had a boot cut version of these pants. They would be five-star then.
I really wanted to love these pants. I ordered the same size I wear in every single pant I own, 32x32. I am 6’2”, 190-200lbs. I could barely button these, and these days I’m down a solid 10lbs than usual (190). I should have reordered a 34, but was told a 33 waist should be fine. They fit ok, still snug, but I wasn’t willing to go thru another return process. Then came a washing, no drying. Now they fit like a 30x30. Useless. They have been given to a 13 year old. Also, it says “relaxed fit.” Nothing relaxing about the fit; fits more like slim fit pants. The material seems rugged and perhaps these pants may have lasted a while, but now I’m considering the $80 option from DT. :(
Love carhartt only brand I buy when it comes to work clothes!
Great fit, comfortable. Seem durable so far
I only tried them on, never did I do any work or activities in them. The cargo pocket was a little too large and too far down the pant leg for my liking. I felt kind of restricted kneeling down in them. Otherwise, they fit pretty well, and seemed sturdy, which is what I would expect from Carhartt. I am just going to stick with the classic duck work dungaree.
Carhartt pants below waist size 32 are missing two belt loops. Using these for work you will find whatever you have on your belt will end up migrating from your side to near the middle of your back.
I love these pants. I've been wearing them for years. They fit perfectly, look good, wear well. I was at the point of needing a few new pair but didn't want to go shopping in the store because of Covid19. So I decided to order them online at Carhartt. I'm glad I did. The service was excellent, the pants arrived in a timely fashion and I recieved what I ordered. I would not only recommend the pants but Carhartt service.
They are exactly what I ordered and needed for work on our property.
Excellent quality.
Very comfortable. I highly recommend these pants.
Nice pants, very thick. They get super dirty easily, would not suggest black if these are work pants.
Will be returning unfortunately. I’ve always ordered the same size pants and still do to this day, Carhartt is the only brand I’ve come across that runs MUCH smaller than normal. I called and got a shipping label emailed to me to return but was told that it would take as much as TWO WEEKS upon your receiving the item back before I would even see my money back. I was really looking forward to these pants, have been wearing the same set of work pants forever and was finally open to trying something new. Unfortunately the experience has been a bit of a let down.
After 3 months wearing them I have to say that the ripstop didnt work well . Im very disappointed with quality of this pants. I was promised by the store staff that this will long at least a year but nope only 3 months
Great overall but don't wear these with knee pads. The material will chew up your skin.
Pants have substance to them, pockets are extremely strong, and have ample room. Material is superior, and surprisingly flexible. Great work!
I ordered a 31-30 and I can fit almost 2 fists inbetween my waist and the pants . These are more like 34s. . My other carhart pants are all 31-30s and fit perfect so I dont get it. Unfortunately because of this covid thing I cant exchange them . So somebody I know who eats alot of snacks is getting a couple pairs if kick ass pants.
they didn’t fit my husband it runs really small
Love these pants for work and everything else nicely fitted and even looks nice for the wife.
I got these pants because at my job normal jeans just don’t survive. I average about 10 miles walking, with frequently squatting, wide stretching
I'm a roofer and always wear Double Knee Carhartts. I bought these ripstop lightweight Double Knees 3 weeks ago and I'm never wearing anything else in the summer months. Amazing fit, breathable, and comfortable. The extra pockets are a huge plus too!
Nice work pant. They are a little heavy for the warm summer months.
Perfect for my needs
I bought these for my husband. He's a delivery driver for a big box home improvement store and he's raved about them. Comfy for lifting and lots of storage. He's super thrilled with the fit and asked me to get him a couple more pair!
My 4th pair. Sturdy, comfortable, fit well, and ready to work!
Really tight
Bought mine brand new at a local retailer in Tacoma, WA. I got a little more than a year of good use out of them. Unfortunately the seam just below the zipper ripped and cannot be repaired.
These seem to be the quality that I expect from Carhartt but they have a terrible design issue that makes them useless for work for me. The cargo pockets are sewn through both layers of the knee and this interferes with the area designed for knee pads. Knee pads just don’t fit into the area designed for them. Unfortunately the place o purchased these pants at is not at all convenient to go return them or I would. I just don’t understand how they could have been designed with a non-functional feature in this manner. The tag even says they are designed to accept knee pads.
More than I thought really nice
Great fit and flexibility! Love these pants!
my only problem with them is they are so heavy, and really too heavy to wash two pair in my washing machine.
Love the design, pockets, heavy material and ripstop pattern. Love the snaps. My only gripe is that the color washes out pretty easily, and I wish they came in a true dark brown color - these have a greenish tint to them. They do take up dye pretty easily if you want to change the color, and they look fantastic freshly dyed, but you will have to redye fairly frequently. Would like to see these exact same pants made in a heavy synthetic ripstop fabric that holds color and doesn't fuzz up. I like to buy a size that's a little too snug, because they stretch out and fit perfect about 15 minutes after you put them on, and I like the slim look, not baggy. Overall though, these are my favorite pants. The shorts version of these are also awesome.
Fit was Perfect! Cool, fabric, and workmanship of<br />extreme Quality! Look great after washing!
lower pockets too low
These the best work pants I've ever purchased, they're unbelievably comfortable and the size 35 waist is perfect for a guy like me who has no butt. I just wish you had the 35 waist in stock for the desert color. I hope you guys don't discontinue these pants. Carhartt has a bad habit of discontinuing styles that I really like<br />Tom Corr
Favourite style. Great quality and fit.
I love these pants. So comfortable and relaxed. I only wished they came in more colors
Nice comfortable work pant - first pair lasted me a long time!
Love the pants, light weight and durable.
It says they're relaxed fit but the feel like typical relaxed fit pants. Particularly in the thigh and waist compared to other similar pants I own that are the same waist (36w) and fit. Also a bit stiff. Wouldn't reccomend out right would suggest shopping around.
So far so good. My work stopped providing work pants, if I’m going to buy my own I want them to last a long time. I bought a couple pairs to test out, love the fit, belt loop location, the extra fabric on the right pocket where I carry my pocket knife and love love love the cargo pockets. Give them a year and we will see how they hold up. Have a good feeling about it.
I love the pants. They fit and feel great. Awesome. I will be getting two more pair within the week.
Very good ??
Great pants... i wear, work in them daily.... BUT... get rid of the snaps on the leg pockets.. go with buttons. The snaps are a pain.
Cargo pockets are to low and the pocket seam runs right across my knees. That's very uncomfortable when kneeling down. Pants leg needs to be a little bigger to fit over my work boots
Item was as described and expected. I would have given a five except that it does not come to n the color(dark blue) that I would have preferred. I wear these all of the time off work so I new how they would feel and wear.
I absolutely love the Jean's however they are not as relaxed fit as most Jean's. They are a little tight on my legs which more closely resemble skinny Jean's which makes it harder to use the multiple pockets. Other than this issue they are a great product and quality
I buy these because the quality is great and they last a long time. Well make and great service as well.
Extreme duty pants
These pants fit great! Love all the pockets. Definitely recommend
The pants are perfect but I ordered a shirt and it never came in
Theses pants are so durable and comfortable!!
Great work pants. 100% cotton and durable. Comfortable and getting more comfortable with each wash. Quality Carhart pants.
Like the pockets and the fit
The cargo pocket was sewn through the knee pad pouch, this would not allow you to insert the knee pad. Had to return.
Material seems to be a lot stiffer than the previous pants (identical size
These pants fit very nicely, they are well made and have been holding up perfectly these past few weeks of ownership. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a tough outdoor pant for landscaping, hardscaping or tearout jobs.
Really comfortable! Going to order more.
Outstanding! Excellent!
Good fit good price. True sizing. I’ll have to get back on durability
Quality is great! Exactly what I hoped for and only reason why it’s not 5 stars is that the delivery was very stressful
I thank you
Excellent wear for work or dress , very durable wear.
excellent product would recommend this product as it is very durable
I have nothing but good things to say about these cargo pants.
These pants are great
The cargo/utility pockets are way too low on the leg. The pocket seams land right in the middle of my knee which makes it really uncomfortable when kneeling.
I used the overalls because of all of the pockets it has but these pants are an awesome substitute. They fit great, I didn't have to buy one size bigger and they're still holding after I washed them, and I wear basketball short underneath.
Tight to fit but seem to be very durable
I love these pants. They are everything I expected. The snaps on the cargo pockets are a bit stiff, but at least they won't open when I don't want them to open.
These pants were exactly what I thought they would be and better. Very well made and very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
Purchased 3 pair of these. In less than a year's time, two have ripped from the upper belt loop down the seat and into the rear leg. Worst pants I have ever purchased as far as durability. Carhartt needs to get their quality act together ASAP.
Hopefully these ones will last longer than 6 months they are comfortable to wear but have had two pairs that have only lasted 6months
These are great, well-constructed work pants that are worth the money.
Really like these pants, Carhartt is always great quality, I really wish that they would offer more color choices though.
Love them... great for any outdoor activity.
Bought 3 pairs no complaints
When my 5’6” husband first tried on the pants, they looked great, seemed durable, and fit true to his size both in waist and length. After coming home from a full day on the job site after wearing them for the first time, though, he had a drastically different story to tell. The project pockets were not very accessible due to the fact that they are located too far down the pant for a guy with shorter arms. The length fit great, but the pockets on the pants are still in the same location as they would be on a longer length of pant. Worse than the pockets, however, was that fact that each time my husband had to do work on his knees, he had to take the time to shift his pant legs to the side in order to not have his kneecaps on the seams of his pants. Otherwise, it would be a painful experience kneeling. The knee area of the pants also caused considerable chafing. He said that his legs still felt raw as he was going to bed that night. We would not recommend these pants for shorter guys.
Great Pants. Sturdy, attractive and excellent fit.
They are small to the size fit <br />Nice pants
fit differnt from jeans great for work will be ordering more!
You get what you pay for for sure with these pants, I am always checking to see if I can find them on sale as my husband only wants Carhartt
replacing old worn out pants ,these are the same as my old ones. Bought them for work but wear them most everywhere.
Great pants!
I like feel of the pants feel of quality and the durability is definitely there. I work construction. These are great pair of pants for the job I do.
I really like these pants. They are great for work when you need to kneel down a lot. They have that double front layer which adds just a little extra cushion on your knees, even without the knee pads. I like these for hiking too. The fabric breathes well and seems a little slick, so that things don't grab onto it when I'm going through uncut brush. Plus there is plenty of room in the pockets to carry my phone, pocket knife, keys, and even a little snack or two. The "cut," and gusseted crotch also allows for unhindered movement, whether I'm hiking, climbing , kneeling, or whatever else I need to do.
These pants are great for work. They hold up well and are very functional. I have had two pairs that I have had for 8 years that have held very well.
I bought these pants to wear while riding my motorcycle. The relaxed fit keeps them comfortable while riding. The ripstop fabric does well to cut the wind on cool days and it feels thick enough to offer a small level of protection from road rash. I really like the mechanical fasteners on the cargo pockets; this allows me to carry things in my pockets without fear of them falling out.<br /><br />I'm very happy with these pants and will buy them again when the need arises.
Need to return them ok don’t like them do not like the fit
Love the pants
The size runs small so order at least one size larger than you typically wear. I ordered the same size of similar pants I wear and these are almost too small to wear. I've had my pant for less than a month and I am already starting to see wear on the corners of the pockets. Because of the price and what I am experiencing with the fit and wear, I would not purchase these pants again. there are similar pants that are much cheaper. Overall, these pants are ok - I'm not sure if I would purchase them again or recommend them to others.
love them so much
Good tough pants. However, I would prefer velcro pocket closures to the snaps.
liked everything about them
I think that these pants will make a lightweight ripstop summer pant. If I had removed the pockets when they arrived and had them seen an inch higher they would be perfect. It's like a longer inseem has the same pocket placement so my knife binds into the crease of my knee and seam is on top of my knee cap.
Waist too low for me. Pockets are great, as is general construction. Tighter fit than i expected.
My husband loves this style, I’ve bought him 5 pairs already!
The only pants I buy.
Love em. Great quality, materials, and fit
The cargo work pants look great and for perfect<br />Like they always do
I bought these for a birthday gift for my son. He thought they would be too big but after he tried them on they fit him perfect. He was surprised.
Wears them for welding at work and very comfortable and durable.
Great look great versatility - only wish you had the waist size in every number, not skipping every two.
I’ve owned two pairs of these pants for over a year now. I personally like the quality, comfort and gusseted crotch, but I find the side cargo pockets a little too low especially having things in them when crouching. I’m a carpenter by trade and I’ve put these pants through some rough job sites.
Love the material and comfort. However, the boot end leg openings are way too small. I wear snake boots to work every day and can barley got them over my boots. I thought the relaxed fit had a larger lower leg opening, but apparently not. I really wish manufacturers would stop trying to make work pants fit like designer jeans!! Please—make the bottom leg cuff big enough to fit over all boots!!
There is no better work pant on the market. The style, the quality, the fit are the best.
Good fit and flexible with lots of tool pockets.
way too hard material. and its does not match regular sizes.
2 years heavy work with this pants
This is my second pair. I enjoy the durability and functionality of the design. The only negative, for me, is that the length runs long. I usually wear a 30” inseam which I ordered. With both pairs of these pants I have to roll them up 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Other than that I am very happy.
I love these pants, they're tough and I need the cargo pockets. Just wish they were still offered in gray (gravel).
They’re fantastic pants, however after following the fit tutorial they were still too small upon delivery, which costed me sn extra $8 to return. I would caution others not to rely on the calculator. Now I’m hesitant to order another online.
great work pant
IT USED TO BE ANOTHER BRAND NOW MY HUSBAND WON'T WEAR ANYTHING ELSE. TO WORK, OUT TO EAT, EVERYWHERE IT'S THESE PANTS.... BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT HE LOOKS SWELL IN THESE PANTS TOO !!!
Fit was true to size, love the quality.
Good pants like the new designs
Great fit will be ordering more for work
Outstanding pants. Very functional pockets, except the thigh pockets sit a little low when kneeling. Fit is great. Fabric is comfortable. And my wife likes them.
I recommend this product. I use them for casual and work good material is durable with plenty of pockets.
Usually buy 36 x 30, have a pair that fits fine, this pair is too tight to wear.
Very happy with my purchase. These are the perfect low-key work pants.
The double knee makes the pants want to perpetually fold in half. I have to iron the pants to keep the fold from show down the entire front of the pant. IMO these aren’t good pants and I won’t be buying anymore of them.
Needs a little break up n time but other than that really comfortable and pretty tough.
Don't have time to do a photo, but it fit absolutely perfectly! I expect these two pair to last for over a year's worth of field-work and gardening! I'll never buy another brand of work pants ever again!
Great pockets, comfy and the extra fabric is in just the right area. The front of my pants are level with my workbench and take a beating, these are reinforced in just the right spot.
Great comfortable fit. Cargo pockets that actually enhance the look and not make it look to baggy
This is a great pant for cooler or cold weather. The size ran small and I ended up going to 36” instead of 34”s. Carhartt was great about the return and ordering the bigger size.
Even better than I could’ve ever imagined. Look great, perform even greater.
I returned them, I don’t care for the density of the material and the fit was not correct.
Overall, these are really good, durable pants. The only complaint I have is that the snaps on the pockets sometimes don’t want to stay snapped. Still would highly recommend, and do plan to buy more in the future.
Extremely awesome paints that I love
Crappy pant. Not durable. Pants fell apart on the seams...ripped at crotch seam. Had them repaired then used once after the repair and ripped again at the seam next to the rear pocket. I would NOT recommend these to anyone for work wear...only good for casual wear. One star because the colour never faded.
Great fit
So far the seem durable but the cargo pockets are too low and get in a bind when bending at the knee, making it hard to bend and it hurts.
Fantastic fit.
Very comfortable and durable a good amount of pockets
Wish they were more available in the stores I shop, other than that thay are always my go to work pant.
My husband’s nickname is either Shrek or Honey Badger. These pants are almost durable enough for him (picture a large seasoned HVAC tech with no regard for soft tissue injury let alone clothing damage). Returning customer year after year, nothing else would come close to being tough enough. <br /><br />Buy these for the Honey Badger in your life.
They fit like the picture shows. Also very tuff and durable. Love that about carhartt
Have purchased product previously and like it.
Great pants<br /><br />Excellent fit
Out of all the pants I bought, these were my favorite! I only wish they came in more colors!
Love these pants. I work in pluming excavation and these things hold up well.
These are a great all around work pant. I used mine, my third pair, right away, to rappel off a cliff into a cave. where I explored on hands and knees for hours. The Carhartts weather well. The cargo pockets are convenient. The seams well stitched. <br />My main complaint is several seams run across the knees, making it very uncomfortable to kneel on hard surfaces. My personal preference would be for some tapering of the cuffs. The straight-leg wide cuffs allow things to blow back up the pant leg.<br />The length appears accurate. The waist seems smaller that other pants of same listed dimension.
Liked the pants had to return them for size was too small tho.
Heavy duty work pants; use them for all outside work to include chainsaw cutting. The more you wear/wash them the better they get.
It seems that since I bought all my pants the same size they don't all fit the same some are perfect and others are tighter.
Christmas Gift for my son. Sizing is perfect and he loves them.
Love them more than expected in design.
Neither pair of pants fit as expected. One pair fit in waist, but too tight in thighs. The other pair was too tight in waist but fit elsewhere. I returned but them but haven’t heard anything from Carhart!
They fit perfect and are the best work pants out there.
A gift for my husband. He looks sexy as hell in these britches!
My Husband really likes these!
These are solid pants. They feel great and are narrow enough at the ankle that I don't risk catching the hem on stakes on the job site.
Great work pants. I've only worn them a few times and they're still a bit stiff, but it's not really an issue when I'm wearing them. When I'm sweaty they do kind of catch a little bit at the knee when I'm squatting down, but it's also not a big deal but something I thought I'd mention in my review.
I found these pants at a local retailer and liked them as soon as I saw them. The rip-stop fabric was light, and has a reputation for durability. These pants also had double fabric, which added to the perceived durability. Lastly, the big roomy pockets could hold two cell phones and all the other stuff I tend to carry around.<br /><br />First day I wear them, I have to get on my knees to do some work, and I rip out the knee. A month later, the crotch is ripping out.<br /><br />I'll be the first to admit that I'm hard on my pants, but these just didn't last at all. <br /><br />My B11 pants that I got a few months earlier, have lasted longer - yes they're frayed, a little tighter where I wish they were looser, and the phone pocket's too small, but I can still wear them and look respectable.<br /><br />My B159 pants have lasted two years - and even though I wish they were more durable (they are threadbare and starting to rip out in the pockets) they were far superior to this pant that was supposed to replace them.
These pants are very durable and comfortable. I wear them on our farm every day so they need to be tough.
QC seems a bit weak on these pants. The seams on the legs didn’t match up on both sides with one seam being an inch or so higher than its counterpart. Overall they seem really durable. Not as comfortable as the flannel lined set, but still a great pant.<br />The pocket for the knee pads is kind of awkward. Not really sure how to use it. Not a very functional addition.
Great pants
pants look great and feel great. Very durable and functional.
Great pant. Good quality, launders well, will buy again
Best value, Best price!!
Great pants. Light, tough, flexible, lots of storage.
Way too small, I wear the same size in every pair of pants I own, but these were very tight. I couldn’t move in them. They were very uncomfortable.
Great durable work pants. Saved my son from cutting his leg to the bone with a chain saw. The doctor told him that if he hadn't been wearing the Carhartts that his chain saw cut would have been so much worse.
well I change style I always just to get the B237 pants, I got this one because of the 2 sides big pockets, they do not last enough time was not even a year probably 6 months, never had a pair of pants like that that short time.<br />to me is like paper towelyou weet it and little by little start to dissapiar the front pockets where I put my glasses and pencil holes back pockets holes , not got at all for the price-time, it is oke for someone that is not working
Was another brand's guy for the longest. Until a coworker said try Carhartt you can’t go wrong. He was right I am hooked now on the brand! These pants fit well and feel like they will out live me.
very cool A
great pants
The pants are great but the cargo pockets are placed too low on the leg. When you have tools or writing/marking instruments in them and crouch down or get on your knees it bunches up and becomes very uncomfortable. This is avoided by pulling your pants up every time you crouch or kneel down. I have the cargo rigby pants as well in the exact same size and the pockets on those are placed perfectly. I hope Carhartt adjusts it on these pants as they are a fantastic and quality pair of pants.
I am 6’2” about 175 pounds and i ordered a size 30-32 and the length and cut is perfect. the only thing is the cargo pockets are a little tight and hard to access. That is probably due to the pants being new and not worn in too much. Overall I love the pants and my company is now looking into outfitting the whole staff in these pants.
Gusset Crotch: great.<br />Double Front: perfect<br />Relaxed Fit: Not as much I would have liked. I'm not expecting bell bottoms, but I was hoping for a straight leg / boot cut, something that wouldn't grab at the calves. I don't think I have monster legs, but I was hoping for a little room.<br />Otherwise... they keep the world safe from my skin's blinding glare.
Fit like they should. Super comfortable. Will buy another when theses wear out. Might be a while!
Just beautifully made ,very durable. looks fantastic .Exceelent price .Carhartt makes the finest quaulity clothingfor larger men and for all men .thank you for being so reasonable
Great love them for my job.
These pants are great, except the side (cargo) pockets are about two inches too low. So, I have to stoop down to reach in them, and they interfere with knee flex.
Awful quality pants. Purchased for the double knee knee pad capability only to find out the design flaw of the cargo Pocket being sewn through the double knee keeping the inserts from actually protecting your knees. Decided to live with them until they wore out and second day on the job a screwdriver pierced through the bottom of the cargo pocket. I was always under the impression carhartt made durable clothing for working class people. Guess quality and durability is a thing of the past.
Great pants! Well constructed and great fit!
Ordered these looking for some black pants that would look good most anywhere and be multifunctional. After receiving them and wearing them out to see friends, I am glad that I ordered two pair.
Wore them a couple of times and they feel good. They fit better than I thought they would. Lots of places to put "stuff".
This is the second time ordering these. And still they can't get my inseam size right.
Can’t get the right size in the waist and they stretch out
I have several pairs of the standard duck double front Carhartt's but wanted to give these new ones a try for a upland bird hunt this year. Much better mobility and comfort than the standard double front pants. I do alot of tree cutting and fencing on our ranch so can't wait to see how they hold up to severe conditions but the first couple of wears have been very impressive.
Best pants ever!
These are the ideal cargo work pant. Love the black
My husband won’t wear any other pants! They fit great and look good on him to !
If I could afford it, I would by 6 more pants 1 for each day of week. I LOVE CARHARRT PANTS
Great pair of pants, fits great!
Bought a pair way back, they were missing belt loops and the pockets were in a bad spot but for the price not bad. Got a few a few weeks back and got the two belt loops back but the size is completely different from the pair I got. On top of everything the pairs I got, the sizing is all over the place.
The bottom corners of the pockets are too close to the knees. It feels like I’m kneeling on pebbles when I’m working on my knees . Either move the pockets higher or shorten them so they’re above the knees
I have 4 pairs of these that I wear for work everyday. I am still using the same 4 pair for over 15 months now. Work great for what I use them for.
My husband loved these pants. The quality is amazing and the fit was great.
I bought these at the store near my house. I wanted the ones that were not double-front but that is all they had there in the color I wanted. They fit pretty good a little hard to lift the legs on high steps as the fabric is still tight. I know these will last a long time as with all carhartt clothing.
I love the fit of these pants, and they are very durable. What I don't like about these is the odd sizing of the utility pockets, and how low the cargo pocket is. I regularly put a screwdriver in one of the utility pockets and these are too small to fit it. Also, If I put my phone in the pocket it hits or rubs on my knee cap. This day and age they should make a pocket specifically for your phone.
Like other reviews point out, the cargo pockets sit half way down the knee, WAY TOO LOW.<br /> Super uncomfortable.<br />I would return but I threw out the tags so now I'm stuck with them. I was so worried about fit that didn't even notice how low the pockets were. live and learn...<br />Appearance: I like the look<br />Durability
great work pants!
Very sturdy work pants.
I would rate them a 4-5 overall. I wish the inseam came in odd sizing as a 31” inseam would be ideal. The side cargo pockets need to sewn on about 1.5” to 2” higher up the leg as the bottom corners rub on the outside of the knee cap which is a bit annoying. Overall the material seems very heavy duty and hopefully with more time and washing becomes a bit less stiff.
Not in my size. I like the look but unfortunately you don’t make it in my size
The pants fit well, are durable, tough and hold up to abuse.
Great fit. Durable. Looks good. Usable pockets. Snaps are better than Velcro.
Incredibly well built pants, extra material and stitching at common stress points.
Only two minor issues prevent me from giving a five star rating. First, the second layer added to the front of the legs wears considerably faster than the rest of the pants. Yes, it prevents holes in the balance, but the wear pattern is the same on all of my pants, and that of co-workers. The second issue is the color selection. I would like to see gray added to the non-lined version.
They are incredibly comfortable.
Love them! Great fit!
Good fit, so far. True to size. Lots of pockets, haven't figured what they are all for yet. There is not one sized for my smart phone, bigger or smaller. Can't tell about durability yet, only worn them a few times, but time will tell. My wife likes the look, so what better review than that?
Waiting till I have the money to buy another 5 pairs
fit perfect nice looking pants that will take a lot of wear
Excellent pant runs true to size will shrink a bit but otherwise perfect
I have to say, I am used to the 'rugged' relaxed cargo (non ripstop). I like these a lot and plan on getting more of the them.2
Very comfy. And fit great!
Bought two pair of these pants, and that was a splurge with the price of them. I know now why they are double kneed. Within 2 months both pair had rips through the first layer of double knee in the same spot, and I’m standing most of the day. If I’m being honest, i expected a lot more usage out of these pants.
I am a big fan of Carhartt products. Their quality is always top notch.
Great fit. <br /><br />Shipped quickly.
these pants are good fitting and rugged for the tough jobs
A little less room to move around than the B01 which I normally wear.<br />Also they don't work great with pull on boots like Wellingtons.
they look good and have everything i need, they're just a little to tight and very stiff makes it hard to move the way i need to.
Purchased for my husband and he likes them even better than the ones he has from other purchases. The fabric is tougher and double knees are perfect for durability.
Have 2 regular pair and 2 lined pair of these pants and they are almost perfect, my only criticism is the phone pocket is a bit too low so your phone overlaps your knee and it is on the smaller size, so if you have a larger phone, it's a tight fit - but overall, I love these pants
Snaps on one pocket impossible to open. I actually pulled out the bottom of the snaps from the fabric trying to open them. Other pocket fine. I ordered size 34 waist and 32 long. Label says 34/32 as ordered. Pants were too tight and too long so i measured and legs were 34 long and waist is 32 so something screwed up at the factory. All in all i now have useless pants but since i live in Canada it's too expensive to return so i guess i'll give them to someone. Waste of money.
Loved the pants, fit just perfect, I bought so many because that’s all I will wear. The were delivered quickly.
The top reason, durability.
My husband said they were exactly what he wanted with a nice fit and good quality.
Outstanding quality look and feel for a great price.
One of the best pants offered from Carhartt
I really want to like these pants. Have everything I want in a cargo work pant. But.... They are pretty stiff, and not very breathable. The cargo pockets are about 2" too low, right where the knee bends, very inconvenient when bending or sitting. The snaps have low retention, easily unsnapped and noisy. I can live with the heat and others, but raise the dang pockets! And move the pen holder to the front of the pocket!
Comfortable and well built. They hold up pretty well to my line of work (commercial refrigeration service)
I like the styling and superior fit (for cargo pants) around the waist, hips, and crotch. The heavy cotton fabric is just what i was looking for.<br /><br />I wish these came with (stylish) zipper pockets on the side pouches. That's my only request.<br /><br />The size came exactly as stated and shrunk a very little bit after first wash.<br /><br />Thank you, Carhartt! Quality pants are hard to find.
They are too hot.
These pants are durable, strong and comfortable. Best work pants I've ever used.
Yes highly recommend runs a little large
Thanks for a great product
Great pants! Highly recommend
Comfy but very durable feel. Nicely made.
My personal fit (36 x 30) felt a little odd. The waist in the back felt like it was pulling down.
larger than expected. High rise above waist
A nice summer weight fabric-but the Carhartt kneepads don’t quite fit in the allowed slots, without trimming.
The pants were as expected because I ordered them after seeing a friend who was wearing them.
Great pants!
I've had these in the past and highly recommend them, but question for Carhartt, any possible way you can make them in Navy?
These are excellent pants.
I am happy with them, but the waist size is slightly different on all three pair I ordered. I'll have to take them in a bit. They got here on time and in good shape.
Fit great, very comfortable
Perfect just what I ordered.
Size was too small based on comparable jeans, etc. material too heavy and uncomfortable. Cannot wear.
They are best cargo pants I have ever had
Great durability, functionality and appearance to satisfy work / contractor and business travel
Nice pants so far. Thanks
I'm a landscape contractor/ business owner. I get so dirty my wife makes me strip down in the garage after work. <br /><br />Needless to say: I put a hurtin' on work clothes. I bought the same pair of pants 2 years ago. Their rough but still hanging in there. I've never had a pair of landscape contractor pants last two years. <br /><br />That's the carhart ripstop promise!
As a tradesman for an extended period of time I have gone through several kinds of work pants. Levis and other brand blue jeans, then went to army surplus BDU's and wore them for many years. After leaving the residential and commercial building and buying a small piece of land that needs a lot of work I found that my trustworthy BDU's were shredded by the barbwire. Barbwire almost skids of these and yet you can wear them all day and not feel like you're wear leathers. Totally worth the money!
After years of trying pretty much every other style available these are my favorite Carhartt work pants! Love the large buttoning pockets since I tend to drop things from pockets with no closures. The different open pocket sizes are handy and the heavy duty flap on the edge of the right pocket keeps your tape measure and hanging tools from shredding the top of the pocket. I like the fit and feel of these over the standard canvas work pant which feel a bit too baggy. However I think the knees on these pants wear through a little quicker. I have pads in all my pants and I often cover the knees of new pants in a layer of heavy duty vinyl tape to get a little more wear out of the knee. I just trim the tape off as the wash pulls edges loose and it seems to extend the life of the pant. So other than making the knee wear a little longer, I wouldn’t change a thing.
they’re good just a little hard to move around in when trying to stretch
Great pant, wish they had more colors, cuz I would buy more
I like these pants very much and yes I would recommend these awesome work pants. To anyone that would buy a pair, but they are just a bit pricey but I think there worth it...
Received compliments when worn. Was asked where to purchase and what type of Carhartt style the pants were. Working in a UPS facility with many packages. Jeans would tear and snag constantly. These pants don't.
Even as a woman I recommend it; I buy "mens" as they wear better and last longer, and the "Relax Fit" is just fine.
One of the best thought out pants i’ve Had. Very well done! The material is excellent and all pockets easily accessible. The hammer sling could present problems around machinery. An alternative should be found.
Wore these pants for one summer doing excavation. Pretty disappointed that the crotch has already started to wear and tear a hole. Wondering what field they tested these in?
I have been buying car hart cloth for years good durable product I work in the H Vac industry
Carhartt is one of my go to work clothing stores.
Much too expensive for pants Made in China.<br />Sturdy, well-made, safe cargo pockets.<br />Wrinkle too easily, cuffs fray too soon.<br />I would prefer that they were part polyester, to make them tougher with less wrinkles, lower price.
Great pants. Bought one of each color.
Great pant, tough but comfortable. Will buy definitely buy more
Baggier than I thought, should’ve gotten a longer pant leg. My knife blade nicked it and ripped it a little. And it seems like there’s already wearing where my stuff is in my pockets. I thought they were studied than this.
These pants are comfortable and move with me while I work. I would definitely recommend these.
Awesome pants
My new Carhartt pants are awesome!! I cant wait to order more stuff from you guys!! Very happy, Russ L.
Ordered these for work as I wanted a pair of cargo pants (work in manufacturing outbound logistics). When they arrived, they were better than I expected. Like the Cordura spot for my knife. Snaps are better than Velcro on the cargo pockets and the extra pockets on the outside of the cargo pockets are a nice touch as is the ripstop fabric. Only complaint is I wish one of the outside pockets was bigger to fit a radio in as we use them to communicate in the plant. One of my EMT friends was impressed with them and liked them better than what he was using and wondered why Carhartt doesn't do more to market them to First Responders.
My dad requested these on his birthday list so I ordered a pair! Exactly as they were described and more. Love love the snap pockets. Just gorgeous rich color great fabric! Love them! Will buy again
Fit is very comfortable durable material I like the cargo pockets and the cut and design of the front pockets great pants and shorts
had to return them and reorder. both pants run small.<br />My husband is a 34W in all other brands and so since you don't do exchanges I had to re order and wait another week or more. It should state that these pants run small and t
