I bought 4 pairs for the 2nd time to replace the same that I've been wearing for the last 7 years. These are my favorite most comfortable pants that I wear most days. I like that they ride on the waist and the material is comfortable.
These pants are rugged and still soft. They fit really good and I’m tall 6’2” and skinny 180lbs.<br />I usually worry about length and not this time baby! Love them
A little long, had to bring the hem up an inch. Really miss the the little loop on the right hip for a pocket knife.
Ultimately, I had to return these pants. The ankles are way bigger than the picture implies. Felt like bell bottoms. Also, I used their online brand comparison tool to make sure it fit and that was off too. The waist was too skinny and the pants were too long. If you wear big wide boots and it fits your body... I'm sure they are fine pants.

The waist was still a bit snugged and the length was still dragging on the ground with construction boots!<br />The fact that CarHartt is still selling these manufactured pants is very shameless!
Not happy with fit and tool pockets too narrow
Accidentally ordered the twill after faithfully wearing the cotton version for years and years. Both are great work pants. Pleasantly surprised how comfortable the twill are. Will order again.

Had to return. All of my husband's pants and jeans are a relaxed fit 36x32. These didn't come close to fitting. Super tight. <br /><br />My star isn't for the look or quality, but for the very poor fitting. I'd order the next size up, but not even sure they would fit.
I have to agree with size being way too small I'm a 34 waist and I buy 38,but the product is very good ??. Work out the fitting problem and it will be perfect

Comfortable and relaxed
The quality seems nice, but these run EXTREMELY small. I'm 6'3", 225lbs, and wear a 36 in EVERY other pant, and these are at least two sizes too small. I'm fairly certain 38's are going to be too small and am going to have to go with 40's.

Seem to be well constructed. Like the colors, delivery was prompt.
Every size of pants, jeans, dress pants, or shorts that I own are size 32 and a size 34 of Carhartt pants are way too tight. My suggestion to anyone is go a minimum 4 sizes larger than you currently wear.

Waaaaaay too small. Even the bigger size I ordered for my brother was too small for me. Awful sizing. Just not comparable to any other company, and a total waste of shipping money and time.

I like the work pant but don’t like the pockets. I wore them one day and my keys and stuff fell out when I leaned back on my recliner. I bought the some Carhartts years go I still wear. The pockets were 3 inches deeper than the new ones and things didn’t fall out when I sit down. I like I right side pocket on the Carhartt’s for my cellphone. I normally like blue jeans because of the pockets don’t flare out and are cut higher but I want the cellphone pocket as well. But overall they are very nice and comfortable.<br /><br />Leo

The fit is good.<br />The comfort is good. <br />But the black dye in the pants is already turning to that bleached rust color, and this only after 1 washing and 3 days of wearing. What's up with that? <br /><br />The other problem I'd had with previous pairs of Carhartt's was how threadbare the crotch would become after only a month or two of wear and I couldn't comfortably wear the pants outdoors anywhere.
Fits great and comfortable to work in.
I have worn Carhartt work pants for years. I like both the canvas and the twill. The twill is a bit lighter and cooler. They are incredibly durable; much more so than blue jeans. I often wear my Carhartt's for leisure activities, and around the house, too. They are sized accurately, and I have never had to return a pair for size irregularity.
Good quality
I have wore these pants for over 15 years. First time I have order some that 2 pairs were tighter than some I have had over a year after washing and drying. One pair was great. Certainly was a little unsatisfied as loyal to cathartic as I always been. The name stands but fitting did not this time.
Its a good pants, but it runs very small, since it is "relaxed fit" you even expect to run big... I always use 33, for this one I get 34 and seems more like a 30 or 32 =(
Ordered four pairs of these for my 6’8” and 290 lb. son… then quickly ordered two more pair right after. They are excellent quality and he’s really happy with them. Some set aside for work and the others for nice wear. He says they’re comfortable and he likes how they feel and flex and he loves all the pockets! The affordability and color choices are great too! Thank you Carhartt!!! Size ordered 42x34 and he wears them with a belt.

I can’t say to much about them yet because I haven’t worn them very long. The size is similar to other pants I have bought in the 33 waist size. The material is comfortable. What I appreciate the most about these pants is the right and left side pockets. My reading glasses go in one pocket and a 1” diameter flashlight in the other and on the other side I put my pocket knife.
These pants are not relaxed fit. Or at least not the relaxed fit we are used to Too tight in my sons normal size

I found that the pockets were different widths on the same pair of pants. I then looked at where they were made and they were both made in different countries so they were not exactly the same which doesn't make me very happy.

I’ve purchased carhardtts before but recently it has been difficult to replace my worn out pair because you have so many “models” that look like my worn out pair AND the item number has changed AND the old item number is longer in existence - - I have returned some pairs because they are not kakhi color, do not have pockets for my cell phone on the right or for my glasses on the left - - - I am frustrated that I can’t the same item number or color as my old ones - - -

I like the way Carhartt fits around my waist and butt, when ordering the right size. Waist size is true, length tends long.

These are not even a little relaxed in fit. They feel like skinny jeans with girl pockets. Don't plan on bending your legs or carrying a wallet. Hoping I can get a refund on them. Wore them a few times because my brain couldn't accept that they aren't the same pants I've been wearing for 15 years (currently wearing the same size Carhartt I ordered 3 years ago).
Only had them two weeks, too early to determine durability or true quality. They fit well, feel like a quality product, and no initial defects. <br /><br />Favorite feature is the pockets. In addition to the four standard pockets, there is are two slim, long pockets along the outside thigh (one each leg) and a small, rectangular pocket that just holds my iPhone. Also a hammer loop on the left side, haven't had a use for that yet.<br /><br />Least attractive is the price, which is what keeps me from buying more quickly. I can only justify buying one occasionally.

If you have bigger thighs these pants are not for you. I am a 32 waist and I bought a 34 for the extra thigh room and I still couldnt fit my thighs into these pants. If you squat regularly or have bigger thighs get some of the flex pants.

Plenty of pockets all around. Little tight around the waist if you've got a belly, and it doesn't stretch so it feels like it runs small.

I have been buying Carhartt Utility Work Pants for years and the best thing about that the pants are made in my size and they are very durable. Well worth the price.
Fit was perfect. Just what I expected.
They fit well and are comfortable to work in, however the pockets don’t last when keeping tools in them. The seam will tear the pocket right off, exposing the ginch.

The last two pair of these work pants run extremely long. One pair was supposed to have a 32 inch inseam and it was at least 34 inches.<br /><br />Otherwise, they are wonderful!!!

Liked the material but the size paints are all wrong. I’m a 36 x 32 and when I received the paint they really size 32x32. For here on out I need to order a 40x 32 to actually have a 36x32.

These are pretty nice. I usually wear the B151's, but they have been out of stock for a while. These have a little slimmer fit through the thigh, and they are a little thicker material. But, they have both a right and left side utility pocket. They aren't exactly the same. The utility pockets are behind the seam... so items in your pocket ride in a slightly different spot on your leg. But, all in all, a pretty decent alternate. (I still prefer the B151's though)

The fit is seamless. However there are annoying folding lines on the leg seams. Nothing a steamer can’t fix though.

I didn’t actually measure my inseam (just used numbers from a different brand of pants) and the Carhartts are slightly longer than I expected, but the Carhartt measurement seems accurate.

Size, style
I purchased (2) pairs of these pants in 36x34. The length is perfect but having these labeled as "relaxed" fit is just not the case. These ran tight as compared to other brands with the "relaxed" label. <br /> I was hoping after 2-3 times wearing them they would stretch a little and form to the proper fit but that was not the case. Good fabric and the colors options are great but the fit of "relaxed" Just isn't there in my eyes compared to others. Wishing I could exchange them at this point for the loose

Fine pants tore a small hole in them the first day I wore them so thats fun :/<br />This is the third pair I've owned and it's about par for the course. they always end up tearing in the crotch area even when there's a lot of life left in the pants. Wish the quality was better but they are comfortable and affordable work pants so I'm generally happy with them.

I have purchased this style of pants several times in the past, but I returned these. They were not of the same quality as the previous versions. Lighter weight fabric, not as robust, and smaller pockets.

I retired several years ago and I decided to retire my blue jeans at the same time. These Carhartt work pants are a wonderful change of pace. They're not only comfortable to knock around in but they're also super functional for doing repairs around the house, yard work, cutting and splitting firewood, walking in the woods with my dog, and stopping in at my local pub for a burger and a beer. As an added bonus they come in several colors! Gotta love em.

When they said relaxed fit they meant relaxed, which unfortunately for me made them feel somewhat loose even though I get this same size on all the pants I buy.

I would have really enjoyed these but the sizing is ridiculous. I have only size 34 pants. A dozen or more pairs. This is the only size 34 that is far from fitting around my waist. The whole point of men's sizing is that it's a measure of inches around the waist and through the inseam. They must have gotten inches and centimeters confused. Just laughably wrong.

Not the right fit around the waist. I have pants from 3 other brands that are the exact same size as these that fit perfectly being original fit. These are relaxed fit and while you think they would be looser they’re not, they’re too tight.
The pants are extremely durable which is what I wanted. Love them! Only reason why I’m giving a 4 star is because they’re a little tight around my waist. I wear a 32-32 and they feel more like a 30-32. Length wise they’re perfect. Just a little tight around the waist it all.

The pants are great but I cannot find a pair of Carhartt jeans that fit me properly. I am a size 36 in every other pair of jeans I have and they fit just fine. The 36s in the Carhartt jeans are way too tight. I thought if I went to a 38 they would fit fine. The 38s are way too big. Carhartt please make a pair of Jeans that are true to size. This is why I’m only giving 2 stars.

These are great pants, but the sizing is inconsistent. I always get the same size in all carhartt and have never had an issue. I order these pants in two different colors. One fit how all my other carhartt pants fit and the black pair were so tight I could barely get them on. After making sure they sent the right size I have to return them and don't know if it is all black pairs or if the pair I got was defective.

Problem with the pants being ordered in the same size, but they fit differently somehow. <br />Also, I’d like to HIGHLY RECOMMEND that Carhartt make a few different styles that have a shorter crotch. Way too small! Carhartt's sizing is all over the place. I ordered several pants at the same time, all of the same size, and "relaxed fit". However, they all end up fitting me vastly differently. These pants were so tight I couldn't even zip them them closed, while another pair I ordered in the exact same size were so loose I need a belt. Do they have any Quality Control at Carhartt?

I am well pleased with the pants. I’ve owned several pairs in the past and am happy to learn that the quality hasn't decreased. Although I don’t know why one pair doesn’t have a tool loop on the left leg?

I have worn 31" x 34" pants for 40 years. I just got these new pants, supposedly 31" x 34"as a replacement for the exact same pants that were worn out. But I have had to pay $15 to get the new ones hemmed as they were too long. I haven't shrunk in the last few weeks. These new ones clearly were inaccurately made and sold.
I ordered size 34x36 and the length is good but the waist runs very very small. Not a true 34. All of my pants I own are 34 and they are various brands. Never purchased charhartt before but now I know they run small.

Legs are very long, despite getting the shortest length possible. They also restrict forward bend of the upper thigh when walking briskly or having to stoop down.

Great pants nice regular fit. Not to slim, not to baggy. Was on my knees a lot this week held up well. Going to buy additional pairs. Waist fits about one size smaller then all my jeans. I would go up one size.

These are not at all true to size. I've been wearing the same pant from Carhart for years and these have changed drastically. I will be returning them. Although I got 2 of the same size, 1 of them are so long and must be mislabeled. I can barely squeeze into them and have not had any weight shifts.

The pants are good quality. However, i bought 2 pair even though the tag was same size one was clearly smaller as it didnt fit comparing it to the pants that did fit. They are smaller in the waist. The return policy is a big hassle and dont even consider it a true return policy

I love the feel and length. However, the waist feels different and tight in each pair i recieved (34Wx32L). One pair feels slightly larger but both still feel extremely tight, almost too uncomfortable to wear, and difficult to button. Other brands i wear a 34 in, fit just fine. I know I'm not a 36 and if i ordered that size, unfortunately i feel like it would be too large. Wish there was a 35 wiast in these pants!

Good in general. The 31x34 I received is a little bit long in the inseam, so the cuffs tend to get dirtier than normal. The front pockets are somewhat shallower than other carhartts I own, leading to items in the pockets pinching when I crouch

The Utility Relaxed Fit Work Pant fits and works great. I need that free range of motion all day. The only thing is that when I ordered another pair of the same pant, with the same as before measurements, were a little snug in comparison to the first pair. I will definitely buy again.

These pants are comfortable to wear. They fit small, so I’d recommend sizing up. I’m usually a 36 waist, and a 38 fit perfectly.
I bought two pants previously at the size I am and it did not fit. I am a big guy who wears size 44 jeans. So I decided to give carhartt pants another try and ordered the next size up. They still do not fit. I love carhartts quality but the sizing is way off. I wear a size 44 waist jeans in every other brand but I guess with carhartt I am at a size 48 waist and I’m not sure that would fit. Sizing is crucial if you are going to have a big and tall section. Again, I love the company but the sizing is way off. Si on

Like others have noted, I found these run smaller in the waist than other pants with the same measurements. Fortunately it’s simple to return them. I’ll order the next size up.

These are the best work jeans my husband loves these I bought him a few pairs the first pair I bought him finally wore out ripped in the crotch from so much wear about 5 years he had them they held up for a long time so I bought 2 more pairs and that was 2 years ago they are still holding strong I don't know of any other jeans I've bought him that lasted that long Carhartt jeans are very quality and they look nice the dark khaki look so nice with a button up shirt and boots you can wear them for work or for a nice dinner out they really are a great buy highly recommend these

They didn’t fit.
Bought a few pairs online after having bought a pair in-store that I loved (even though the belt loop came undone on that pair within a month or two). These fit so much tighter in the seat and thighs than my other pair but there's still a gap between my back and the fabric itself. Seems like they're designed with Hank Hill in mind, unfortunately. The loose fit pair of dungarees I have are way too loose in the thighs and make a swishing sound when I walk or I would've bought those. Only positives for these pants are the pockets and how soft the fabric is. Might just stick with Dickies or Volcom work pants from now on.

I have been ordering the same pair of pants style for two years this year I ordered another six pairs of pants 32x32 but I just got 5 new ones and they are tagged 32X 32 but they are 3 inches longer. So I tried wearing one pair to wash a couple of times to see if I could stand them but I don’t like them. So now I have four pairs still in the bags still tagged of pants but I’m not sure what to do with that I can’t use that are really expensive and they are the wrong length with the wrong tags so yes I’m not happy at all

Fit is good, size is right, and they are very comfortable. I am concerned the cloth is way too soft for work pants and they will wear out quickly. I had expected the heavier canvas, hard to tell what I am getting by reading the description.

Ordered these two pair based on another pair just like them which I really liked, good fit. Size 33X30. These arrived and I can not even button them.<br />Carrhart sizing really inconsistent. Bought the Rugged flex for a few years and just quit buying them for the same reason. Getting quite a collection of pants I can't wear. Would have sent these back but shipping would cost too much. I keep these around hoping they may fit someday.<br />Recently purchased a pair of Wrangler ATG's. Really like them. Maybe time to stop buying Carhartts.
Pants are great except they are too long. Ordered 32 inseam and they are more like 34. I will have to have them hemmed. Currently i have them rolled into cuffs. But the pant itself is very comfortable.

I have tried to contact you often and couldn’t get thru. Maybe this time.<br /> I’m very disappointed,with the pants. I’ve been wearing ARG 324 for years. they’ve bee my favorites. I’d never bought them online before, so , of course had no chance to try them on first. <br /> 1. the zipper is so short I can’t get my hand in thru the fly, so I have to pull my pants down to pee. ( ridiculous, Right ? )<br /> 2. there have always been 3 belt loops in the back ( like good work pants should have ). These had only 1 in the middle. Not good !
I've been living in denim jeans for many years, but I recently bought a pair of Carhartt's Relaxed Fit Twill Utility Work Pants and like them so much that I bought two more pairs. The fit is perfect and very comfortable, with a good combination of eight roomy pockets. Twill might not be the most durable fabric Carhartt offers, but I expect to enjoy these pants for years to come.

These pants are a lighter fabric than normal Carhart pants, so don’t expect huge durability. that said they actually fit very well and should have comparable durability to jeans. I am very happy with them.
These are the best pair of work pants or just everyday pants depending on what you are doing. Plenty of pockets, but not too many that the pants become overbearing. Great fit and plenty of room to rest easily over boots. Definitely recommend and will purchase another pair.

I bought three pairs of these for work and they’re great pants. Much better fit than the original fit. I’m a welder and they hold up great. My only complaint is that one pair fits much tighter than the others. Not sure if it’s mislabeled or if it’s just factory inconsistencies.

Not very true to size. The waist size was too small by about one size. I returned it for a larger waist, then the length was about two inches too long. I commend Carhartt though, for not having these pants made in China and instead are made in Nicaragua. Hopefully they are just working out the kinks

Carhartt does NOT make these anymore, so it was REALLY awesome to find a brick n mortar that still has them and were able to deliver to a completely different state.. The original 100% cotton pant is the best -Not the new 98% with 2% spandex, boo! anyways - Thank you!

Good pants. I have two pair. Durable pants for as thin/lightweight as the material is. Side pockets are great/convenient for onsite/field work: both hold an engineers 6-foot rule and my company iPhone (with protective case).
I really like Carhartt products, but one thing irritates me about all of their pants. The 2 front-most belt loops are spaced too far apart. They’re obviously made for gawky, oversized belt buckles. Carhartt needs to realize that not everyone fancy themselves a “cowboy” with a desire to hang a big chunk of metal from their waist. A normal belt tends to ride up over the top of the pants, forcing you to continuously reach in behind the buckle to pull the pants up to keep it from rubbing/pinching your stomach. Otherwise, this model of pants is soft and durable. 3 stars instead of 5 for the belt loop issue.

I've been wearing these pants at work in a power plant exclusively every day for about 15 years. Obviously they work well for me. They're comfortable in the Texas heat and also hold up when it gets below freezing. The job can get physical and involves oil, greases, and chemicals. I haven't had a problem with them not being able to hold up. I carry two types of gloves, a flashlight, multi-tip screw driver, and a Sharpie that are with me all shift. The loop on the left side even makes a good place to keep my badge from waving around and getting caught on stuff. I only wish they were available in more colors.

Its been about three years since I purchased four pair of work jeans. I read the reviews, saw complaints about pants not very thick or heavy.<br />I agree, seems much more light weight. I only purchased one this time, glad of it. So to the other extreme, bought a pair from walmart , was only<br />$10.00 . Wow, very close to carhart's weight, but over five times cheaper. I wrote a letter about one week ago to carhart, no response. Guess they don't care. Product, not worth the money.
You need to get the maker of your clothing to standardize the sizes. I purchase your clothing before fit just fine. I purchase the same size... it was too small. OK. I sent that pair back and purchased the next size up. These pant are way too big. I need a pair of pants so I just delt with it.

Good pants. Belt loops are in a weird spot as stated in previous reviews. The picture is not the actual location of the loops. They are very close together at the side of the waist. But hey, my tape measure won’t slide around.
Don’t think I can ever wear jeans again. These fit like pants should and are super soft. They wear well and get better with each wash. Only downside is they don’t have a wide selection of colors in my size.

I have ordered and returned these pants before. The zipper is 5 inches long and very awkward to facilitate the reason the zipper exists. Other work pants I own have zippers that are a least 6 inches long or longer. Not sure why these pants have such a short zipper but it is a big negative and very uncomfortable to wear.

The quality is great..but I wear a 32 inseam. I order a 32 and the pants inseams are 30 to 34 depending on the style even though the tags says "32".<br />Very disappointing!!!! I end of giving the pants away or rolling up the pants leg. <br /><br />Where is the Quality Control...this has been an on going problem!

Bought these pants in black and fit is good. My major issue is lint. Never have I owned a pair of pants that attracts so much lint or maybe shows it. I had to buy a lint roller specifically for these pants. It’s very annoying to have to de-lint yourself ever hour or so.
Great pants! I’m a bartender so I love that I can wear these to work and abuse them and not worry about the material getting worn out too much. The only negative I would give pertains to the fit. They are a perfect fit in the waist, but they are baggy and wide/open legged past the knee. I do wish they were more straight cut.

First pair I bought a year or so ago was my favorite pair of pants so I decided to buy the same again, however they are completely different in almost every way even though they have the same size and product numbers. They fit like they are a size or more small the color is different and the material feels different. Pretty disappointed in how much quality can change in a short amount of time.

Fit is terribly inconsistent. I ordered one pair to see how they fit. That one pair fit great, so I ordered 3 three more of the exact same style and size. None of those three fit. Those three pairs didn't even fit the same way as each other! The sizing inconsistencies are not acceptable. It doesn't make sense. They are great pants otherwise.

Good quality. Wish there were more lower waist sizes. My son is very thin with long legs and the 28 is large. He’s pretty much outgrown kids sizes because of his long legs. He’ll have to grow a bit to get into the pants. We needed the army green for Boy Scouts.
I have 3 pairs of these work pants and wear them pretty much every day. Great fit and material. They come out of the dryer in good shape. Really like the fact that they come in a 35" waist. My only issue, as someone else noted below, is that the zipper should be another inch or so longer.

I love these pants. I suggest ordering them one size larger in the waste, try them on first, if they are a bit loose, then wash them as per the instructions, and they will then fit perfect.

I've been purchasing Carhartt now for three years. They fit me like a glove, and this pair is truly a great fit. I really like the color too.<br />Shipping was pretty quick. My only concern is longevity, as material seems to be getting a bit thinner. If you need something extra durable, they do make a double panel on the front legs that is similar in design.

The relaxed fit is the only fit I’ll buy from carhart and this 100 percent cotton twill is the best one. Please do not stop making these and add more colors! I own all 4 pairs and need more. I also recommend making a relaxed straight jeans in this same exact fit.

Had a tear in the pants upon arrival
I'm writing this review as a warning, these pants are really small around the waist. I ordered 2 sizes so far that don't fit. I started with a size I wear regularly. I'm wondering if it's worth it to even try a third time (answer, no). I'm giving 3 stars because I really like the material, but 0 stars for fit.<br />I previously got a pair of Carhartt jeans in my regular size and they're too big, I can only wear those with a belt. WTF Carhartt, how about a little consistency/quality control!
These pants fit well and the cotton material is very comfortable. I purchased these for work and when I received them I noticed a major difference between what is advertised online and the pants I received. Online the pants show three belt loops on the back of the pants making while the pants I received only had one belt loop on the back. This is frustrating because that is a critical feature especially for work pants. I’m not sure if what I ordered was a previous years model or what. A coworker of mine has the same pants in loose fit and they have the belt loops on the back.
Bad enough these are made in Mexico, But Chintzy 5-inch zipper just a tremendous inconvenience.<br /><br />Carhartt was once a revered brand - but when they cut corners like this to save maybe 25 cents on a shorter, inferior zipper, I will never buy these again.
Purchased these about 7 months ago. They are super comfy and stretch with ease. I am unhappy with how quickly the material has worn out with daily use at work. The knees have ripped through, the right pocket where my tape measure normally sits isn’t thick material, and yet my Carhartt shorts have a strengthened pocket for a tape measure. For $90 CAD, it isn’t worth the money. You’re better off getting a cheaper pair of work pants like Dakota.
These are a good pair of pants. I'm 5'5" and wear pants with 28" inseams, so I had to get them hemmed (boy, it would be nice if Carhartt stocked shorter sizes), but otherwise I have no problems with them at all!

Everything has always been great. Bibs, jackets, shirts, you name it, but I have one major complaint about carhartt’s work pants. I wear a 34x32, and im starting to believe these pants are inconsistent with their actual size. I ordered two pairs of these and how does one pant come out about 2 inches longer and wider than the other? Yes, I can brush it off and wear them like always, return them, exchange them, but that’s not the point. All my 34x32 pants fit different, it makes no sense. The quality is amazing obviously but I know for a fact I’m not the only one who’s had this issue. This needs to get resolved.
I really like these pants. They aren’t overly baggy like most “relaxed fit” jeans are today. So if you like “normal” fitting pants, these are for you. I love the pockets on both the left and right legs. At work I keep my cell phone in my right leg pocket and pen, pencil, and sharpie in my right leg pocket. I am an electrician.
Best brand for work no doubt
Pretty durable however if you catch em on a pallet or snag em on a nail they'll tear. Great room for my bigger thighs, I like to ride bikes. Take time to break in but I like that. The material is super comfy... A little warm in the summer but manageable. Carhartt it would be amazing if you could make these exactly the same without the hammer loop or added side pockets, some of us don't need all that. Also more colors would be amazing like blue and grey.

All of my current jeans have a size 34 waist. I ordered 2 pair of these pants in a size 35 waist just to have a little extra room. As soon as pulled a leg up I knew these would not work. The waist was closer to 32" inches so I checked to make sure they were not mislabeled but they were not. I love Carhartt clothing and will definitely buy more but will most likely buy in store to prevent shipping back and forth. If you order these jeans, I would advise going at least 3" more than what you normally wear.
Only work pants my husband and son wears. We highly recommend them, never disappointed!

This has been my 2nd purchase and I was not able to find this style in a brick and mortar store to examine first hand. No worries… While this purchase was a different weight material and cut they fit like the 1st purchase and both purchases where the same waist

I bought these for my son, who is 26 and very slim and fit. The 32 were a bit tight in the waist for work, so he asked me to order him the 33. But the 33 s were ok in the wait, maybe. Little big but the entire pant was way bigger all around..the butt, the legs...very very baggy! Strange fit indeed. Sorry, had to send them back!

By far my favorite style. They aren’t quite as heavy as the duck (easier to wash and dry) but thicker than the regular rigby dungaree. They hold up extremely well and fit true to size.

These pants are nice, but overall they are really baggy. I ordered a size 34x30 and they fit like a 34x32. They are not true to size and not what I expected
Started with Carhartt denims (flannel lined and unlined for regular work and casual wear); then Carhartt duck cloth (quilted lined and unlined for extra heavy duty work); then Carhartt ripstop (shorts and longs for general rugged wear); now second pair of twills (for lighter work and casual wear). These can even be worn with a dress shirt and sports jacket for a nice look out on the town. Also have belts and a work quilted work jacket. Thank you Carhartt for making excellent clothing!

I love the pants as I do the flannel version. Plenty of room for phone on side. Only change I would make on both versions is moving the front belt loops in toward the center an inch or so on both sides. I’ll be buying them again, jim couldn’t rate durability because I haven’t worn them enough yet!

They’re ok. I ordered a 33x30. Legs are too long but somehow the groin fits too tight when I pull it up to my waist. The waist is also surprisingly tight. Since the legs are too long the bend in the knee feels very stiff.<br /><br />They’re a nice quality pant material but the size is all weird.

I used to get the B151 dungaree fit, but they stopped making them, now only making relaxed fit which are WAY too baggy. Even though it says relaxed fit on these B324 pants, it fits much like the B151 dungaree fit that they used to make.
These pants are most comfortable pants i ever wore will buy again.
They seemed pretty heavy duty and comfortable but after 3 washes a belt loop broke. Sent them back and am going to try the duck pants. Very shocked these have a 6 month warranty. Thats why I will keep trying. And give them a 4 star.

I ordered these pants one full size bigger than I currently wear now, and they are still TOO SMALL, and it’s not even close. So now I’m trying a pair that’s TWO sizes bigger.

This is my first pair of Carhartt"s and I really like the fit and feel. I went up 1 size (35) when I purchased because my weight fluctuates and I'm glad I did for when they shrink I can still wear them. Good price and very comprisable to other brands in this same style and material.

I bought these for my partner to replace a couple of pairs that he has completely worn out. Even the strongest material worn for decades in the harshest environments, mended and patched and still going, deserves to be laid to rest gratefully at some point! Clearly these are worth the investment, he is just as thrilled with these replacements. There aren’t many companies that maintain their quality now so thank you for that.
Was skeptical on getting these pants as I have always used the double front . But was very surprised when I got these as my size was not available in my usual. These are a great fit, comfortable and very versatile

My husband loves the pants, but we ordered two of the same size- one fit and one was so small he could not even button them. It was pretty inconvenient that we ordered two of the same size and color and they did not fit the same. We had to return the pair that was to small.

Overall they are great. Fit is nearly perfect. Extremely durable. Great for somebody who carries multiple hand tools with them. Only issue I have with them is they have nearly no flex to them. I am constantly standing, kneeling, sitting, or climbing ladders. Standing up they are great. But when bending or moving in any other position they can get a little tight where you don’t want them to. If they added a little more flex these would be the perfect pair of work pants.
These are by far my favorite work pants. I just wished more retail outlets would carry them.

These pants fit exactly the way they’re suppose to. Comfortable and tough enough to be worn almost daily. Already ordering another pair. Living in SC heat and humidity don’t help so if you come from a hot area I advise going with a dark color..

I like these pants. I’m a short, thin guy and have trouble finding pants that fit. These fit about the best. Would like shorter inseams and a regular fit instead of relaxed fit but no one seems to make them.
Fit was untrue compared to previous purchase of same produxt. The size of these pants was considerably larger than a previous pair of the same size/style, different color.
These pants are the warmest lined pants I've ever had. I have two pair of Wranglers and these are much better.

After ordering from Carhartt, paying extra for 3-day delivery, getting them 11 days later, I was disappointed that I had to return them because they were too small - my fault.<br />Then I re-ordered what should have been the more accurate larger size from Amazon, got them in 4 days, and they were no larger than the original order. I measured them both. Now I get to return the second pair and probably look for another brand.<br />Both pairs made in different countries outside the US with very poor quality oversight.......
So, far I love these pants. Can't provide feedback for durability at this point but they seem well made. Best feature is the side pockets. I could do without the strap on the side because in my work environment, it could get snagged on something. Does anyone actually ever use that hammer strap or what ever it is these days?
I’ve enjoyed these Twill relaxed work pants for years! The fit, durability and over all comfort are unsurpassed! I actually like the look and fit so much I purchased a set to wear in other than my usual work environment...they’re comfortable to travel in as well as casual get togethers. I’m sold!

These pants are great. Just to let everybody know, I wear my jeans size 36 32. These pants I had to order size 38 30 to fit. Too tight in 36 and too long in 32 also get relaxed fit because loose fit is way to loose. I gave 0 stars in durability because I just started wearing this brand and I don’t know about the durability just yet.

I have been wearing these on and off for a few weeks and I must say they are the most soft and comfortable Carhartt pants I’ve bought so far. 9.25oz twill ensures warmth and triple stitched inseams with reinforced pockets make sure this will be a staple in your closet. The appearence is iconic and the range of movement is great. The only bad thing I can say about them is that my black pair attracts a lot of cat hair. But hey, thats what scotch rollers are for.

A little baggier in the leg than I like, but the waist to crotch fit is great. Some Carhartts fit me very poorly, with a very low crotch that limits lifting of the leg, but I'm very happy with these. I've had these about 10 months now and apart from one small hole (that has not grown) from barbed wire, they are holding up to outdoor labor well.
Comfortable wear, good color surprisingly looks good with air forces as well as work boots. Runs true to size. They’re being used weekly to climb power poles in Lineman school, very durable

I have been testing pants from Onward Reserve, Heybo, Mountain Khakis, and Carhartt. In the end my Carhartt pants were number one, and they were a fraction of the price compared to the others. In my opinion you can’t find a better a better pair of pants. In the end I also bought a pair for my father and father-in-law.
I am 5’9” and 175 lbs., my waist is 33. In most stores I either have to buy a 32 (too tight) or a 34 (too loose). These fit just right.

You need to bring back the 28 inch inseam for us shorter folks. Now I have to bring these to a tailor and have them shortened 2 inches as the shortest inseam you offer is 30 inch.

I will forever be resentful to those responsible for making Carhartt’s “Fashionable”.<br />These are legit nice and soft fashionable (whilst still remaining frumpy) pants that one would certainly become upset when they get covered in mud, concrete, oil, silicone, paint, miscellaneous debris etc...

I am impressed with the washed twill material. It’s 100% cotton but not at all like washed duck. The material is like a pair of cotton cargo pants. I have worn many Carhartt products and prefer the relaxed fit. I ordered these washed twill pants in the same size as all of my other Carhartt relaxed washed duck pants. These do not fit the same as washed duck relaxed fit Carhartt pants. They do fit and are the correct size, but are not as “relaxed” fitting as the traditional washed duck pants. Having said all that, I am still very happy with them.

Comfortable for leisure, longer inseam than expected. But my question is why there is only an abbreviated cloth divider between the "two" right side pockets. It is really only one pocket as you will discover when you drop a tool in either entry.

Bought a size larger (from 32 to 33) but the fit seemed about the same, maybe even a bit more snug!? The cut looks great—slimming and flattering, but for work pants that needs to be coupled with more stretch. Back pockets are a bit tight getting things out of them. Maybe add a little fullness to the pockets with a loose flap (no Velcro please) to help keep things from falling out?<br /><br />Also, how about a tropical weight but tough work shirt for those of us in the Southwest?

I love these pants. I have several pair and continue to purchase them because they are comfortable and durable. I like that they have a 35 waist as most men's pants have a 34 or 36. I am right between the two, so I am thankful for that special size.
Hubby really likes them! We did have to bump up a size, however. Been in a 32x36 since college(now retired!) This size was a bit tight, so bumped up to 33x36 and they fit great.

This is my second time attempting to purchase these pants in dark coffee. The color should be BROWN, not GREEN. The last time I had this problem I returned it and I couldn't purchase again cause my size was out of stock. They gave me a coupon code to take 10% off my next order and it wasn't even valid! If you're wanting to purchase these pants I suggest not picking up the dark coffee.

They’re the perfect fit. I’ve owned just about every carhartt style of pants and these are by far my favorite. The look is perfect for the office or social settings but they also fit and function great for physical labor as well. This is the third pair I’ve bought.
These pants and great right outta the package and only get better with time. They’re super comfortable and look good enough for everyday use. They don’t wear the best and I always seem to split the knees after a while, but they aren’t pants made for everyday hands and knees work.
The fabric is nice, not too soft or hard. I have an issue with the size of them. I workout so I have a butt and legs. I ordered a size bigger then what I am and they can barely go over my butt and no room for my legs. 230lbs 6 ‘1 got size 36-32 relaxed fit . I will return and not order any more. If you don’t lift then you should be ok with sizes.

When buying relaxed fit pants, the waist usually will fit appropriately, but the seat, crotch and thighs will be loose. That is not the case with these pants. The waist fit perfectly, but seat crotch and thighs were all too tight. I like more freedom in my work pants. I tried these based on the Carhart reputation, and while the appearance and quality is great, they are by no means, "relaxed fit" for my work needs.
Runs small in waist size, in order to fit me would need to get a size bigger than normal along with a lower inseam. Not satisfied! Should have left tags on so I could return.
These pants fit so well, they allow me to move, I am always looking forward to them coming out of the wash so I can wear them again! I have 2 criticisms: The left leg pocket should be about half an inch wider to fit my phone, and the hammer loop is useless and only gets in the way (I cut off hammer loops). Thanks you Carhartt, for a great pare of pants!

I bought two pair of these pants, a brown pair and a green pair. I love the comfort, fit and feel of these pants. My only complaint so far is that the zipper on the green pants is 3/4" shorter/smaller than the zipper on the brown pair. Yes, I measured and took pics. This makes it difficult to go to the bathroom. QC or an employee with integrity should have caught this. Now I have to mail these back and take a chance on the next pair. I like the pants and will buy again I just wish I didn't have to hassle with sending these back.

The size on these is horrible. I bought a 34x32 in this along with another pair of cathartic pants and this one was at least a size or two smaller and a size or two longer. It fit like a 32x34 instead of a 34x32.
These are great for most of the year up here in PA. They're bit heavy for the dead of summer, but are my normal go to pant. Fit is as expected, and fit around my work boots nicely (not too tight, or baggy).

I wear a 38 waist on all my other pants I can’t button these the waist size is smaller than Levi or Wrangler, the other brands I wear. If I get anymore I will have to get a 40 waist.

These seem like pretty decent pants but they run a bit small. I'm 6 foot, 180 lbs and I usually wear around a 30 or 31 in most pants, I ordered a size 31 and they were too tight in the thighs and seat- tolerable, but not a good enough fit for working/ moving around in. Otherwise they seem like quality, durable pants and I'll be ordering another pair in a larger size to try.

Definitely more of a dark olive green than coffee (dark brown). In my opinion, the color is mislabeled. I returned them and will be looking to another brand for a dark brown pant.
One pair for great, 31x34 and the other pair of the same size fits like a 33x35, they’re huge like I’m swimming in them. Color that fit was the green and color that ran way large was the brown. Love the green, would like another pair of the brown that fit since the color is nice but sizing from what I understand can be very inconsistent from carhartt

Great pants for work! More comfortable than jeans , look good , are durable and they are functional with the tool pockets. Only problem is the limited choices of colors. They are my favorite pants in the closet. Please make them in some more colors.

This pant really surprised me. It is incredibly soft but help up to abuse just as well as the other Carhartt pants I own. I'll have to keep these on my wish list.
I really like the fit and look, they are comfortable and feel durable. I wear these for casual Fridays at work, if I really needed to do some work around the house, I know they would hold up to whatever task I would tackle.
Best work pants I’ve ever owned. Comfy, tough, and long lasting. Only wish they added a extra cloth patch on the knees, since they are usually the first thing to get worn out and rip.
Great pants. Definitely a lot longer then my other pants of that size makes me wonder if I got one for big and tall. But asides that they’re carhartts so they’re the best.
I work in an office but I get really tired of wearing jeans that are not comfortable or don't fit right. So I thought I would try these pants. Well I'm not disappointed at all, they are just like all of the products that Carhartt makes, high quality and just as described. They are soft and comfortable for the office or working outside, they are large and easy to use pockets and they are built very strong. Defiantly recommend!

I bought these pants for work at a forest preserve and they are great. They are very comfortable and keep me protected from hazards like thorns, twigs, poison ivy, etc. In the winter they are warm (I usually wear wool leggings under them when it gets below freezing). In the summer they are not too hot. I plan on buying another pair soon

Probably the most comfortable pants I wear. I read dozens of reviews that stated they run small so I ordered the next size up in the waist and that was perfect. So you know they aren’t sized correctly because of all of the reviews—why don’t you put the correct sizing labels on them?

Sisters husband got these in the wrong size so he gave them to me for work.<br />I work on trailers in a rough dirty shop and these are one of the best pairs of pants I wear. They're comfortable and very durable.<br />Got for free but would and will be buying more

I like Carhartt in general, but I bought this model because it has a great side utility pocket sized well for a cell phone. An angled strap at the top of the pocket keeps the phone in yet still is easily accessible. They're lighter weight than the construction guy's pants, so comfortable for casual wear.

Great fitting and functional work pants. I do find that the knees wear out a little prematurely but maybe that's just me. I'm very tough on my work pants. I do wish more colors were offered.
My husband is extremely thin He wears a 34 inch waist, and these pants are slim fit. They seemed to bell out a little bit around the buttocks area, because the pockets are very deep and large. And the legs are very very slim. I bought For yard work pants. I hope they don’t shrink in the legs after I wash them because they are really rock ‘n’ roll slim in the legs. I am not totally sure if I can say they run true to size because of that pant leg issue, although they do definitely fit someone with extremely slim legs. And I cannot judge whether or not they are really functional yet because he just got them and I don’t know how they’re going to hold up after a year of heavy yard work.

Originally order a size 30 waist had to send back a little small. Re-order and got a size up. Fit was good, ordered Black and coffee brown. Love the feel of the material, hoping the wear well, if so will order more, can't find these colors in the store. Rated durability and quality in the middle only because I haven't had them but a few days and not enough wear and tear yet.
Pants came and 2 went even in a bag. Both were dirty. Not overly happy with purchase.
There is a quality control issue with sizing. Ordering the same size and style, you will get different fits.
They run a little small
Amazing work pants, have two pairs just bought another pair. I’ve always had a hard time finding good fitting work pants but these fit perfectly, I’m 5’11 buck 60 n’ these pants fit like a glove. I work retail n’ i’m constantly on my knees stocking product. after a good wash with oxi clean my pants are back to new not even a trace of wear on the knee area.

Just got a second pair- got the first when I was working a fencing job, and found them comfortable and durable. The hammer loop was very convenient, and the side pockets comfortably fit small tools, utility knife, markers, torpedo level... didn’t expect trousers to make such a difference. I own them in brown and olive. Probably getting more soon. Only complaint is that there’s not much butt room... and I hear I don’t need much.
