These pants are not comfortable compared to the B159 style pant so this is not a replacement. They are a heavy denim pant so they will probably last a long time. The seat fit or rise (seat to waist??) is too long and I'm constantly pulling the legs up to sit down. These are the exact same size as I wear in the B159 style and I was hoping they fit the same but they do not.

I have ordered these jeans in the past. I carry my cell phone in the right side side pocket. The side pockets on these jeans are smaller, the cell phone I’ve been carrying for years is too big for the pocket, thereby rendering these jeans absolutely worthless.
clunky and long
I like the jeans but i wish I could get the utility jeans in something slimmer than the loose fit. I recently lost weight and the legs are very baggy
Ordered my size length of leg’s to long croch hangs down to my knee’s don’t understand why more than likely won’t buy again for that reason have no way of sending them back so they just set their because I can’t wear them for that reason I only give them one star

I love these pants. I dress like my grandpa. A belt or even suspenders would both work well with these. So much room. So durable. Thick and full protection. It’s not what I wanted. They’re soft blue jeans I wanted and expected the hard denim unwashed jeans I like to break in my own pants. I don’t Like the sissy soft ones so I was highly disappointed when I received the ones I did.
They were not 32" in length run very long. Had to spend more dollars and heve 2.2 " hemmed.
My go-to jeans for every day. Love the cell phone pocket on the right leg. Typically I take a razor blade and cut off the loops on the legs as I’m not a carpenter. Loops should be on the carpenter jeans (with the double reinforced knees) not on this style.
I've been wearing this style for years and they continue to serve me well. Comfortable, rugged, good to go!
Comfortable to wear
They are nicely made but way to lose. The material is too soft and I ripped a belt loop the second day I wore them.
Too loose in the legs. Even more so than my overalls.
I have loved Carhartt products from day-one and nothing's changed.<br /><br />I did learn a....fashion lesson that "relaxed fit" can also mean "larger than [You] might expect. Lesson-learned.

I’ve worn this style of jeans for years, and they last!! They have just the right amount of pockets to carry the items I need without letting me carry too much. They fit true to size, and don’t shrink much in length.

Both pair arrived quickly and looked great. <br /><br />One was hemmed almost an inch longer than the other, which I didn't notice right away. But, it's probably within tolerances, just reinforces my wish they still stocked them in the stores so I could try them on.<br /><br />But, already washed and worn a couple times, very comfortable and I expect them to hold up like their predecessors.
The fit is too loose
They’re my favorite jeans. I ordered because my local go to store quit selling them.
Belt loops were bigger than last pairs I got which is much better. Weight of Denim could be a little heavier.
Good quality and true to size
The jeans are well made. The zipper are not cut short which I like very much. I believe I will try the normal cut jeans next. I look for the boot cut jean, but I could not find any.
I have worn your utility jeans for years. They are very comfortable. I had worn out the ones I had and couldn’t find any locally so I ordered them directly. The only complaint I’ve ever had is that I wish you made them out of a heavier material. The weak point on them is always the back pockets.

I really like these jeans for work. Comfortable and and rugged.
They run long compared to other brands I own. I like the fit at the waist and hips but don’t care for the overall loose fit. I would rather have a relaxed fit, but you don’t often them. Your website says you do, but as soon as I click on my length ( or any length for that matter) all the waist sizes get crossed out.
Just the one we were looking for
Had the pockets I was looking for to carry inspection mirror, flashlight and cellphone for work which I like. I climb on aircraft every day to inspect maintenance, so my cloths aren’t beat up as much as if I was turning wrenches. Material is thin and not durable at all, both pairs the back right pocket tore the first time I worn and a side pocket. See pictures. Totally disappointed with these.
Runs a bit small
Hate Hate Hate this jean. The B237 heavy weight jean was discontinued and I was referred to this as an alternative. Denim so thin the back pocket ripped out reaching for my wallet the 3rd time I wore them. BRING BACK B237 and I will come back as a customer

Bring back the discontinued color!!! I had to wait over a year just to buy this style in my size, just to find out you’ve discontinued the color I prefer. I love these jeans, to the point that they’re the only jeans I buy, but now I can’t.

I bought my first pair of these jeans and 2019. I had to have them tailored because they were so baggy but the quality of the denim was heavy duty. I was very happy with them. I purchased another in March 2022 and the weight of the denim is much lighter and the side pockets are not as deep. It seems Carhart is cutting corners to save money. It's too bad. That's why the three stars.
At $40 a pair and 10 years of buying these jeans the last shipment I received was awful. Missing threads, immediate repairs, issues with the material itself. Overall really disappointed.

These are great jeans, but when we went to replace the jeans my husband had had for a long time, we were unable to get a length that worked for him as they do NOT come in odd number inseam sizes.
Got these for my 91 year old uncle, who wears nothing but these. He says they are it for farm work - durable and handy for tools.

The front pockets angle down more them I would like them to. Otherwise they are comfortable and I like them.

Feel great but the waist ran feel like they are one size short, I wear a 38 waist in everything else these are like a 36 waist.
Must have utility jeans, purchased one of every color available. True to size. Have some from years ago and still look great after many years of wear. Waist size comes in even and odd numbers so you know the fit will be exactly what you want. Droid phone fits in multiple pocket so do not need a phone pouch on my waist. Can't live without these pants.

I’ve used these jeans over and over in my career as an electrician. I like the fit and comfort of them. They’re not super tough but they’re comfortable and hold my hand tools (level, pliers, screwdriver) fantastically. I usually get 4-5 years out of them. They do shrink over time though, it’s the dryer.
Ive been wearing these for many years, I won't wear anything else.

They’re too small. I always wear carhartt carpenter jeans and have a few old pairs that I am still wearing size 33x32. The new ones were not just snug but very very tight and missized. Also I would have liked to order other work pants but every style and size that I clicked on was X -out<br />meaning they were out of stock
I bought 2 pairs and the second pair ripped down the backside the first time I wore them. I ended up having to duct tape them together to get through the end of the work day. It was extremely embarrassing.
First, I'm a very tall person, so finding pants that fit me is quite the challenge. Most stores do not have my size and I was down to my last getting good and worn pair. So, I was very pleased to be able to get the Carhartt pants I like on their website for a reasonable price. This style of blue jeans have become my favorite for comfort wear, the cell phone pocket on the side, and just all around nice looking denims.
love size 35, they fit nice
2 more belt loops on 44" size is unnecessary and a hassle. And, why is a 28" inseam not offered on the 44" size. I'm just big - not a doughnut hog.<br /> Otherwise, B-13 is a great style.
There is plenty of leg roomwhich is important but, body is a little long and the material is a little for my taste. I ripped a hole in the thigh while working. But in Carhartts defense I'm really hard on pants. So I think I'll stick with the loose fit duck.

Not true to size. The waist is too small, length too long- had to roll them up.<br />I tried washing them, not putting them in the dryer and stretching them out on the back of a tight, sturdy wooden chair - they loosened up a little, but not enough. God help you if you ever accidentally put them in the dryer.
Was not impressed with the bell bottom legs of these pants. Color was also an issue as they did not look like the picture. Will not order again.

These have been my go-to pants for years but after ordering 4 pairs which shipped 8/24 all 4 pairs have ripped to multiple times and are no longer usable after 4 months. My remaining old pairs are still going strong but wearing thin. I’m guessing the material has been drastically ‘cheapened.’

Jeans do not fit. Been wearing the same size and style of jeans (b237) for years. Cannot seam to find that style anymore and everything pointed me to the b13 style as the replacement. Ordered 3 pair and all 3 are smaller in the waist then the tag. Side by side comparison to my old pair I was replacing and the waist is significantly smaller on the new pair. Upset over this and ordered new ones that are bigger. Not sure why this changed but annoying overall.

They fit great. Bad thing is one pair ripped at the corner of the back pocket the first day I wore them. Im an electrician and had a pair of plyers in the back pocket. Leaned over to pick something up and...rip. 2nd pair same thing after the 3rd time wearing them. They are loose so I don't understand why they ripped that easy.

These Carhartt denim Loose fit/Dungaree jeans are the best jeans you can buy. I wish you would bring back the Signature denim version, but these are close. They are the only jeans that still fit me right in the thigh and crotch area after several washes. So called “relaxed”, “gusset crotch” or “ballroom” jeans never fit right especially after several washes. I also hate other company’s stretch jeans. These Carhartts have nice big brass zippers and the correct number of belt loops. My big cell phone fits easily in the side pockets. Ditto for the Loose fit/Dungaree Duck Utility Pants. Levi’s/Dockers hasn’t made any Loose fit pants since the late 1990s. I have worn Carhartt for about 20 years and will continue to do so.

Sizing is terrible as has been issue in the past. Ordered 2 pairs 32w x 30l . Pair one waist ok but length is like 32. Second pair waist way to small not even close to button them length was ok. Both were made from same country so you would think would be close. Suggestion don’t buy online go to retail store for proper fit.

Size is not always consistent. I ordered 3 pairs of the same size. Two fit perfectly and the third I couldn’t hardly get one because they were too small. I sent them back and ordered another pair of same size and they seem to be closer to the size of the other two.

I don’t really like the loose fit jeans and don’t like the white stitching. That was all you had in a 33 waist and these are a little snug. I usually wear the B13 DPS original dungaree fit. I have been wearing Carhartt jeans for 35 years. I have some 32 waist that are too tight and some 33 waist that are too loose. Just wish they would come better sized. I know my waist is a little bigger than it used to be, but there’s no way the 34 waist would fit. I’ve tried them on. They just fall off.

Have worn them for years
My husband loves these jeans because of the various pockets, especially the slanted side pocket which is perfect for his phone. The fit is good and true to size. He loves them and we will be buying more.
They are very thin and the crotch hangs down a couple of inch below where the older kind did. I can't wear them. They are cheaply made with very thin material (11 oz. verses 15 oz. in the older ones) and even if I could wear them, they wouldn't last no time.<br /><br />I'm very disappointed as I have been wearing these pants for several years without any problems, but I guess saving a dime on material is more important than making good quality clothing.<br /><br />I also tried what the store said was the replacement for the good pants that you quit making. They were Flex fit and I swear they were womens pants. Even my wife took 1 look at them and said "What are you doing wearing women's pants". They are terrible. So now I have 10 pair of Carhartt pants that I can't wear. <br /><br />I have them in the top of my closet but can't wear them at all. I am currently looking for another brand to buy.
Jeans are good, sometimes size varies, ordered multiple pairs 1 pair fits great waist and hip area but are a little long the other pair fit length great but hip are tight. I normally try on in store but with rhe shortages in my size is impossible. Also The rear pockets tend to be weak where sewn to the Jean leg, hope these new ones last better

Gave pants to my son for his birthday . He has worn that style and brand for his , so far, career of 23 years as an engineer on the Seaboard RR. He says they on the most comfortable pants he has ever worn, especially 12 hour shifts. I would recommend this pair of pants for anyone who wants comfort while working or playing.

I use these jeans for working around the farm and they are perfect. Loose fit may seem “baggy” to some but farm work requires freedom of movement. The cows don’t care how stylish I look, they just want fed and I do that in comfort. Hammer loop is great and the pocket on the right leg is just right for a cell phone. I’ll buy these again.

Love the “dungarees” and love the Carhart brand for its fine workmanship. What I wish you would do, WHICH NO OTHER MAKERS OF JEANS DOES, is to put the “sixth” pocket (phone pocket) in YOUR JEANS! You put it in your colored work pants. <br /><br />The phone pocket is valuable to active people. It’s so functional! If the cost of making the extra pocket is an issue…get rid of the little watch pocket. It’s a waste. Nobody uses a watch pocket anymore. <br /><br />You have great products. Carhartt pants normally run a little tight in my size of 34 so I ordered a 35. They actually was true to fit so I should have ordered them in a 34 cause the 35 are to loose. I can still wear them regardless. I placed another order for size 34 so hopefully they will fit just right.
A little skimpy at the waist for a 34" and a little long in the inseam version the claimed 30". Also, these shipped with an obvious factory defect in the stitching near the fly - see photo. So basically you charged full price for a factory second.
The color was a little bit darker than I had initially thought. It is also very noticeably baggier, feels maybe 1 or 2 sizes bigger, WHICH was what I was hoping for.
I’ll start with, I love Carhartt. I have been wearing their full zip and pullover hoodies, beanies, and jackets for years. I had really high hopes for these Jeans, but to say they fell short is an understatement. The material is the same thickness as my much cheaper pair of Lee Jeans. My biggest disappointment is the depth of the pockets. The pockets are very shallow, and adding that the front pockets are cut diagonally, instead of the standard J cut, makes it prone to have stuff like a larger cell phone, like an iPhone Pro Max, fall out. The side pocket is just as bad as well. <br /><br />Now I’m using my phone as a reference, but when I work, I usually have a few tools in my pockets, and I can just see them falling out.

I don’t know what has happened at Carhartt, but quality and fit are out the door! I have worn Carhartt carpenter jeans for years- loved them, they fit great, sung on the hips with plenty of room in the crotch and leg. Now just cause it says 34X34 that doesn’t mean any thing- last 34” waist I tried on was at least a 36” waist. I have a 34 “ waist and am currently wearing some 33” carhartt’s that are loose to the point o f being baggy! This “Original Loose Fit” is like wearing a sack. Bring back the “original dungaree fit” and buy the people making them a tape measure!

My grandson asked me "Papa, you don't work so why do you wear WORKER MAN jeans?" I said because they fit great, feel comfortable and last forever. I'm still wear old jeans that are at least 5 years old. Only brand of jeans that I will wear.

These Loose Fit Dungarees are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. Carhartt quality, like white triple stitching, as always. But with a "old time" comfort cut that really makes a guy feel human again. These 5 pocket jeans, aside from being fully utilitarian, with all the real, reinforced, leg pockets and hammer loop, are also the perfect relaxed wear for the fellow who knows who he is, and has nothing to prove to anyone. Real freedom of movement, without binding or chafing. And with a refreshing, unexpected ventilation that keeps sweaty dampness to a minimum. I recommend these jeans to any guy who wants to look good, while being comfortable and still looking experienced and task ready.
I absolutely love them
I have been a loyal customer and swore by Carhartt for many years, however, now that they have started their cost saving measures (production in China, lowering the weight of the fabric, and apparently no QC) I will be looking for a new workwear manufacturer. These jeans are more for fashion than anything else, easy to tear, poor quality, small tight pockets, and just poor sewing. I have never been so disappointed to see the downfall of a company. Bring back quality products and I will come back. Raise the price, I don’t care. I will pay for quality not a name.

Dear Carhartt, <br /> Thank you for making pants that aren't so skinny, and don't get stuck on my socks because the leg holes are wider than 3 inches. I purchased 6 pairs that arrived 3 days from my order and I couldn't be happier. I'm in my late 30's and absolutely refuse to wear 90% of pants out there due to how silly tight fitting pants are.
If I had it to do over again I would get regular fit. Just to loose for me. Good quality and wear ok just to loose.

These pants fit in the waist but are humongous in the legs. Definitely not the right fit for me. They look ridiculous on me.
I love Carhartt but not these. The distance from the waist to the crotch is too long. The waist wraps around my belly, not my hips. The pants keep sliding down until they stop at my hips which leaves the pants crotch hanging low. It's really uncomfortable and looks stupid. The only way to keep these up is suspenders. Even with that, I feel like I'm wearing old man's pants from a 50s black and white movie.
Excellent build quality and comfortable. Higher waist than I expected, but okay. <br /><br />No Likkert scale response to "Appearance." They are dungarees and look like it; really nothing else to say.<br /><br />Cannot answer "Durability" question, as I have not worn them long enough to know.
They fit me good look good and last for a long time durability is high mark and if need be you can always get the double knee
I ordered online because I’m right in between the normal sizes retailers stock by wearing a 35X32. I own several pair of Carhartt’s and like the product, but I’ll definitely try them on in person for any future purchase. These ran way too long and will need to be hemmed before I wear them for work.

I love Carhartt products and I thought I'd try these loose fit ones. They are not what I usually buy (I usually get regular fit). I got them, tried them on and my wife made a disparaging remark about how they looked. That would have been ringing in my ears every time I wore them so I returned them. Again, this is not a negative comment on Carhartt and the buy and return procedure was great, I am still a loyal Carhartt customer, I just didn't like the way these fit me.

I wear original fit but there’s not enough colors like before 40x32 double front 40x32. No blues, gray. So I but same size 40x32 and it’s not even loose, real tight on me.

How can you call it a “work”Jean when the fabric you’ve made it from is so light weight. Was expecting the same fabric used in you double front work jeans. Can’t see myself buying this pant again unless you up the weight of the fabric to what it used to be. Very disappointed!!!

The worst fitting in over 50 plus years I have been buying Carhart. Had to take it to a tailor to make it tolerably wearable. Somewhere is slipping something past your QC process.

Very disappointed, jeans are horribly thin and will not last long. Carhartt needs bring back the original B237, that was a pair of jeans that was worth the money. Carhartts replacement B171 does not fit like the B237, the pockets are smaller, the legs are narrower and the hammer loop on the right eliminates the use of the pockets on the right leg. <br />If carhartt does not bring back the B237 or a perfect replacement they have lost a 20plus year customer. I have bought another brand that is not the same as the B237 but are closer than anything carhartt has to offer.

This is an okay replacement for the B237 model, but they just don't fit or feel the same.
The loose fit work jeans are Work Dungarees that sit just above the waist. This was just what I was looking for. The comfort and fit is amazing. The web page description was wrong and I could not have been more pleased. I feel lucky.

Not a comfortable fit. Much to roomy and loose. Wouldn’t work on the job site with so much extra fabric. 36 length was more like a 30 or 32, didn’t even touch the top of my boots.
I don't see how you can call these work pants! Cheap flimsy material, belt loops tear loose, I might as well as saved $30 a pair and bought Walmart brand jeans.
The ones that are suppose to be dark are not. Maybe you need to ship me darker ones as I thought I was ordering.
Since you asked 6 of the 8 pair fit fine. The last 2 seemed like the waist was an inch or more smaller. Since I’d already thrown all the tags etc away and I weld for a living I built 2 racks that stretch the waist. I’m washing them and stretching them as much as possible while they’re still wet and have been dealing with them so far.
I look forward to many days of comfortable wearing. I went to size 42 waist when my older size 40 waist became too tight. Although the size 42 waist may be a little loose they are supported by suspenders and provide the needed comfort.

I returned these as I was disappointed in the material. I have a lot of Carhartt jeans, shirts, jackets and bibs. The bibs are disappointing with the cheesy clasps for the shoulder straps. They’re difficult to work and cheap versus the traditional button clasp. I will be looking for a new supplier of clothes.

If I could change ONE thing about these jeans, I'd make them 12oz. stone-washed denim instead of 11.75oz. deep stone. But in terms of fit and quality, they're the best I've found. Being a woman, I take a couple of darts in the waste band, but that's the only alteration necessary. They've been my go-to jeans since the stone-washed variety went extinct...

I recently purchased two pairs of these jeans for a new job. I was looking forward to not having to worry about not destroying my nice jeans at work anymore. I was astonished when not one, but both pairs were ripped within hours of wearing them for the first time. The first got caught on a piece of metal, and I have no idea how the second pair got it’s first cut. I have worn each pair a total of three times, one pair has four cuts/holes in them and the other isn’t fairing much better. My dress jeans and $20 specials are tougher and hold up better than these. I wish I could give a higher rating, but I am more than disappointed.

The look and quality of the pants are great. And I love the small side pocket that fits my phone perfectly. But the fit seems a bit weird. I have worn 34x32 pants my entire adult life. But these seem too tight in the waist and too long in the legs. I seriously wondered if they had accidentally sent me 32x34 instead. But apparently not. <br /><br />Otherwise, no complaints. Overall they are great pants.

I work in a home improvement store and I have to squat down a lot. Although the material isn't stretchy, it has more than enough room in the seat to allow continuous squatting and bending over on the job.

I just tried them on and they fit well. The legs are long, but I like them that way. They appear to be well made, triple stitched seams and light weight denim (cotton). Good stuff, made in Mexico. I like 'em.

These run small so had up size for better fit in the waste,<br />but being short in stature I was able to get an inseam (28) that actually works for me that many other manufacturers do not offer, also the fact that Carhartt offers different weight denims, and in my opinion make the best pants out there . You get what you pay for -Quality. Highly recommend the Carhartt Brand.
I ride motorcycles, and practice martial arts, so I like jeans that are not tight around my legs that I can move in - these are comfortable in many positions you may encounter while working! I keep my cell phone in the side pocket. If the side pocket was a little deeper and secured with a velcro or snapping flap, that would be amazing for a phone, but then the pocket would be harder to access as a work pocket. These jeans are very durable, and look good, so I will probably order another pair.
I tried on a relaxed fit in 36 x 32 and they fit great at a store. I chose a loose fit because they were all cotton and had them shipped. I returned the loose fit because they were so large I was stunned. <br />The waist was perfect. <br />Everything else was huge. <br />I have big upper legs and these still felt as if I was wearing a skirt. <br />At the foot, they basically swallowed my boot from heel to almost toe.
The cut actually allows for the pants to stay up when bending over, which has been impossible for me to find. At 5'8" and 280lbs (you know, fat) being able to find this from a trustworthy brand is fantastic.<br /><br />The fabric is pretty thin and lightweight, so while I have some concerns about how well they'll hold up, it's too early to make any real judgements on that front.<br /><br />The pockets, while not so small as to be problematic, are smaller than I'd like.<br /><br />Quality seems fine, though clearly not as good as what I have from DTC, who have similar pricing, but no longer offer a cut that fits me well.<br /><br />Overall I'm pleased and expect to switch to these pants entirely. I just hope the durability doesn't disappoint.

I ordered 28's in length. They are too long. I wear all of your other products wit 28 inseam and they are fine these drag on the ground. Unhappy I now need to hem them.
The B13 style of jean is the replacement style for the D171 carpenter jean. If you are ordering online beware that there are two different pictures for the same jean. the color DST for the old carpenter jean does not transfer to the new style. DST foe the new style is a dark blue with white stitching. When I received the B13DST the denim is a lighter weight suitable for summer, indoor, or casual wear. I work outdoors in the upper Midwest around construction sites and will have this light weight denim jean ruined in a week. This weight of jean was perfect for working in the South, however the durability of the jean forced me to buy extra jeans in order to keep a professional look. I would not recommend this jean.

The last pair of these jeans I purchased were made from much heavier denim. I'm still using them 5 yrs after purchase: a quality product. <br />These are made of a far lighter denim material, the thread appears lighter as well. I will venture a guess that these will not even come close to surviving as long as the 1st pair owned. <br />I'm not impressed with the downgrade.

I've been wearing B13 DPS jeans for close to 20 years. The style name has changed throughout the years but the product remains the same.*Example- Dungaree fit, Work Dungaree, Original Fit, Loose Original Fit (These examples are from the tags on the product). I purchased most at a saddle shop near my home (This retailer retired/closed shop years back. I then found that an Army Navy retailer sold them, so I bought gangs of them over the years..(Army Navy didn't stock much and I got really tired of chasing these jeans...Oh yeah Sears, remember them? We'll they stopped selling Carhartt a year before they went belly up. This is how I wound up here. Order and a few days it's at your door. I recently had a minor manufacturing flaw (a small hole near the inseam) after the first washing. I contacted Carhartt with my order number and a few pictures and within a few days they sent out a complete order no charge. I will continue to buy from the Carhartt web site. And yes, they are made in several different countries. The truth is if they were made in here in the USA they would cost a couple hundred dollars a pair, Would you work for peanuts? I know I don't!

I can't comment on durability or quality as I returned these after trying them on. The inseam size ran longer than any other brand of jeans I have ever worn. I have always worn a specific size inseam on multiple different brands of jeans and have never had an issue. With these, the cuffs were dragging on the ground even with boots on. When they say loose fit the really mean it, In addition to being too long in the inseam these jeans were extremely baggy.

Pockets are too small and seem too far forward on the thigh. I’ve been buying 32 inseam since I was like 16 but these seem too long. But the rest of the fit is comfortable. Belt loops are small for reinforced belts.
These were supposed to be a 34length jean, they're closer to a 36length. Angled front pokets make it close to impossible to keep a tape measure hooked to your jeans. Lots of loose threads

Many men are complaining about the loose fit, but as stated, they are Loose Fit. For these men, the relaxed fit or narrower would be a better match. These fit great in the waist, butt, and upper thighs. They sit above the waist=good. They do not have a high, uncomfortable crotch=good. BUT, the lower legs are like ballons. They are so big they look ridiculous. I sent them back. Do you have an option where just the lower leg is a bit more reasonable in size? Thank you.
A little to loose. <br />Are these made in a regular fit.<br />A pair I hadbought years ago don't seem as baggy.

Loose fit is far too loose. I could have returned them but chose to keep them for house work. The fit on odd for a loose fit jean, size wasn't very true, i had purchased 2 pair of pants at the same time both the same size and these were way off while the others were spot on, i am assuming it is mostly due to the fit as these require you to wear them up to your belly button if you want the length to be correct, probably my fault in the end but just warning others to read description carefully.

Jeans were returned. My husband wears 38x34 and although that’s what the pair of pants said their size was, they fit like a 34x38...way too skinny and way too long.

This is probably the 4th -5th time that I have purchased these jeans for my husband. He has muscular legs, he does marshal arts, so these are something that he can move in. I always buy more than 1 pair. They last a very long time. The price is always decent for the high quality. Most of our clothes, - we buy used. But certain things get the 'new' treatment, and these jeans are it !

32' inseam is actually 33-1/2. Material lighter than I was expecting. They appear well made and I am guessing they will shrink in length, which would be OK as long as they don't shrink in the waist.
Comfortable work jeans that allow ease of movement. The 28-inch inseam is too long for my 5’ 6” frame, but is barely manageable with boots on. I could use a 27” or even a 26” inseam but the 28” is the shortest offered.

These are the pair of pants that I have been looking for and being in the military and traveling all over it has been hard to find a pair that works for me.
I've been buying Carhartt loose-fit jeans for years and they've always fit perfectly right off the rack. I use the folding rule pocket on the right leg to store my mobile phone. My only complaint is that I wish they still made the loose fit jeans in a heavier denim... the 11.75 oz tends to wear out more quickly.

love them. i've worn them for 25 years. the problem in the stitching has changed from white to yellow and I don't like that at all. when these were brand new and white stitched i could get away with a sort of smart casual look. The yellow stitching makes dresses that look down too much. They work for farm jeans but I am disappointed

Id like to start by saying they are great jeans. I made the mistake of ordering the "loose fit" and a size too long on the legs. So they are really baggy on me. But, the website said i should of ordered the size I had ordered.

I don’t know how to explain how these pants fit. The waist is good bit the rest is way to big! I’m 6’ 7” 350 lbs it’s very hard to find cloths in general! They are nice pants very durable just hard to function in them! They look way to big on me!

I ordered a pair of Loose fit jeans as i have never ordered from Carhart Before. I tried them on and to be honest the Legs had to have been 10 inches wide. My wife said they looked horrible on me, so i returned them and will not purchase again except in a store that carried Carhart Products.

These pants are great for sawing timber. I wear them until the material gets worn out in the upper thigh area, and then they get turned into daisy dukes, and I order some new pairs.

I purchased these as a loose jean to give me movement in my daily tasks. I walk a lot, do a lot of climbing of stairs, scaffolds and structures. These are the right jean for the job. I have only had them about a month and so far they have stood up.

I order a size 44X28 i got a size 44X30 they drag on the floo i have other pants 46X 28 and they do not drag on the floor like these do. i have been buy carhartts for 20 years
These were returned to Carhartt. They did not fit. Ordered 36 waist and 32 length they were closer to 32 waist and 36 length. Very baggy and ill fitting. Certainly do not run true to size at the very least.

I am a big guy 295 lbs at 6'2". The quality of the product is by far the best you can buy. Makes a competing brand look cheap by the number of belt loops alone. Very comfortable for a man that works for a living, but you won't win any fashion contests because these are what they say-loose fitting- but sensible on the work scene. I have pulled the belt loops off of the other brand's jeans trying to keep them up, but Carhart's seem to stay put. The workmanship seems to be exceptional.

Hard to find the right size in stores, and now this deepstone color is no longer available at FF. Will be ordering these a few times a year from Carhartt online. We like that the deepstone has the standard stitching, not the white (like on the lighter color of blue jean).

I purchased four pairs of these several months ago. All of them are tearing at the top corners of the back pockets.
Worst carhart pants I ever bought. Apparently sizing has changed and my size no longer fits. I had to go buy local two sizes up and I was told the same thing at the store. Make sure and try them on as the sizing has changed. Now the pants I bought with the proper waist size means I’m swimming I t the rest of the pants!!! After 30 years I might be changing brands...
The white stitching looks like piping, which is OK, I guess, if you want to look like a drum major.
Don’t like the fit. Still feel too snug in certain areas. Denim is thicker than I prefer.

I am a big fan of Carhartt jeans in general. This set was not my favorite however. My main frustration is the jeans are considerably darker than they appeared in the ad and with a white stitching thread whereas I prefer the gold. They are also somewhat snugger than the other jeans I bought with the same waist size. I really want faded light blue jeans (long for the days of button fly but that’s impossible to find), relaxed with the stacked side pockets (key for a phone), and am having a hard time getting the style and color to align from the app and styles available.

The fit is the same every time. Great for work and casual. They are slightly loose fitting in the thighs and seat for a real comfortable pair of jeans.
The B13 style is my favorite work jeans, I hope Carhartt never discontinues them. I'm up and down ladders, kneeling and sitting on the floor most days and these give me the room to move around.
They fit, are comfortable last well. Special note the left side rule pocket is the best place to put my reading glasses so that they are in easy reach and safe from harm.
To be a work Jean these are too thin meaning it makes them easy to tear or become worn easy. I have bought 4 pair this year. I will not be purchasing them again.
These are great quality Jeans for an outstanding price. They fit as advertised. I got a 36x36 , I am 6ft 6 and 225. They fit really nice . I like a roomy leg. Not into tight jeans so they were perfect for me.The color was a deep blue and had lots of pockets. I would definitely recommend these pants!

Please bring back the logger dungaree. Also need longer inseams on big waist sizes. If a person is 6’8” with a 34 or 36 inch inseam your waist is not going to be 30 inches.

Great jean's for those with a prothstetic leg ! You can actually move in them and no need to take off the shoe to get dressed. Plenty of room in upper thigh for the prothstetic. Hubby list leg in January and we have been having a hard time finding pants to fit or having to modify them. The B13 are perfect.
I bought the B237 for years. I was sorry to see them discontinued. The B13’s I just purchased in no way will last as long as the B237’s.

When I bought the pants you guys sent me the sticker on the outside said 3632 the sticker on the outside by the belt said 3632 the tag in the inside the pans said 3432 so no it wasn’t not a very good experience no I don’t have no jeans because all the jeans I have are Carhart in there for all the holes

I bought three work jeans, dungaree type, very good performance and good fit previously so I bought them again.
Sadly once Carhart was bought out quality bis way down One pair was missing 4 belt loops. The other pair was okay. But the loops were not symmetrical in placement.
Perfect fit at waist and inseam. Our local stores rarely carries my size, so it was great to order straight from Carhartt. Thanks for making a consistently great product.

I was sent the wrong style and one was labeled the wrong size. Was refunded the cost of the pants not shipping would have liked an exchange still need them.
I have bought 5 pairs of these jeans now and I really like the cell phone pocket on the leg. Very functional for my iPhone 7 with an Otter Box case. The thing I don't like about these jeans is that they only last about a year before you wear holes in the top corners of the rear pockets. Everything else is fine but you can't wear pants with holes in the butt.

Had been looking for this style of loose fitting jean for over a year then I found Carhartt.<br /><br />Bought jeans in two colors Deepstone (DPS) and Darkstone (DST). Deepstone is a lighter colored denim with yellow/gold stitching and my preferred color of the two although the darker colored Darkstone has its own attraction.<br /><br />I found the pants a little long in my size 32 length and though it doesn't cause any problems since I wear them with boots I'm going to purchase these work pants in length 30 and hope they will compare well to the length 32.<br /><br />I should also note that I really like my pants to have a loose fit so even though I normally were a size 36, I purchased these pants in a size 38 waist and they've fit well even after loosing several pounds because of the high fit waist which I really appreciate.<br /><br />The only thing I would change about these pants is the tool pocket on the right inseam appears to be two pockets but the divider is only there at the very top and doesn't actually divide the pocket into two pockets so with something fragile like glasses it can only be used as a single pocket.

I will give them a B for effort, BUT an F everywhere else. My size is a 50/28 Carhartt USE to HAVE my size now the smallest inseam is 30 why did they stop carrying the 28 inseam WARNING to all short leg men with big waist no jean company manufactures anything less than a 30 inseam then they jack up the price very disappointing. I sent them back the next day told them exactly what I thought even sent an email to the company what did I get for my time a form email stating they forward my out cry to the manufacture or development team meaning nothing is going to charge except I'm not bothering with Carhartt anymore.
I purchased these right after Christmas 2018. I really like the fit, they are roomy and feel great. I sit quite a bit for work and there are holes where the rear pocket attaches to the pant. I am unable to use them anymore because it shows my boxers. I was hoping for more than 5 months for $47 Work pants but I guess not. I like Carhartt but will not be buying these again.

I personally love carhartt jeans. Basic, roomy fitting. I was a slight bothered by the white threading, but they are great. All of my past carhartt jeans have a gold or yellowish threading. Really not a bother. I only have these new pair 2 weeks this review is a bit premature.
Jeans were too baggy
First off being a wood framer I need to be able to bend twist and stretch. I needed some good work pants that wont tear at the knees or RIP when I bendover something a little tougher than regular jeans, but didnt need the duck stuff that carhartt is famous for. These were perfect. Enough room in the thighs and goes over my boots well. And on wet days I can stuff the pants in my boots and they dont feel too bulky. I bought two pairs just cause they were pretty comfy.

Soooo comfortable and flexible. I do volunteer "handyman" work with a group of retired men and wore out a couple of pair of old jeans, but couldn't find any brand with seven (as opposed to five) belt loops. Fellow volunteer suggested Carhartt. So glad I did. Hey, Carhartt, don't you ever scrimp and cut costs by going to five belt loops as all the other brands have!
The quality of the Jeans are what you expect of Carhartt , very good. They where really tight when I first got them, now after two washes and wearing them for a week or two they have become a bit loose on the hips. I love the loose leg size. Bought 34 waist should have got 33's.

The pants are too baggy in the legs, I bought 2 pairs and only wore one one of them. When I get a chance I’d like to bring them to the store and exchange them for a different style

I like the feel and durability of these jeans. I ordered B13s which are midweight denim. I already had a pair of those and don't like them. They remind me of jeans you would iron. We don't iron our jeans where I come from. These feel like the good 'ol Carhartt quality. The only thing that would be better if if they were made in America. At least they are not made in China, they are made in Mexico.

As for this series of jeans, I wear a 36 Waist X 34 inseam and that has held true for every series even the ones I purchased with these but these are way different. The waist fits like a 34 and was very tight and the length looked to be a 38 or 40, they were super long. I am returning but am afraid to order a 38X32 because they might be supper baggy in the loose fit. So I don't know what else to say about this jean. I would recommend purchasing somewhere you can try on or be prepared to possibly ship back and wait on a return and replacement pair. I'm sure the quality is as good as the rest of my Carhartts but I will never know.

Fits great. Square pocket right side is much tighter than my other pair. Same catalog number for the jeans but significant variance in sizing. Phone slips right into this pocket on the first pair. I have to work to get it in same pocket on the new pair.

Looks/feels like the denim may be lighter, but it will work…I am comparing to my others that seem thicker. I have looked through the offerings and this is the only one I could see that matches what I currently have.
I ordered these Jean's because I wanted better quality over the brand I currently use. I can say that I really like them. Just looking at them you can see the difference. In the zipper area alone you can see the extra strength for that area. I will buy more as long as they dont go up in price.

Bought these at a local Carhartt store. Love 'em, they look great, breathable enough to wear in the summer, although not ideal. This loose fit do look a little baggy but when you work in sweaty, hot, cramped up environments, comfort trumps style all day long. I wear 30x30 size and these fit perfectly.
I am not satisfied at all with these jeans. Not only do they run small, but as soon as I tried them on, the zipper wouldn't stay up.
I've worn this style and brand for years as a farm and do construction and love them they wear and hold up though all my jobs.

I was looking to replace the same carhartt jeans I had owned and abused for 10 YEARS!! Bought two pairs of these and they only lasted a matter of months (under a year, maybe 6 months).. The denim seems thinner and less durable. Last night I squatted down to lift a heavy object and not only did my jeans rip... But they completely blew out from the waist to the back of my knee, leaving my a** hanging out in the middle of a manufacturing plant... Gee Thanks.. Too bad I discarded my old pairs because they'd probably still be performing at a high level today... So disappointed to say the least...

I have been wearing Carhartt apparel for a long time now and the quality of the clothing used to be great. Now its hit and miss for example I bought these jean's a year ago and now there dead. There's a missing belt loop and a hole in the back where the pocket is. In the past I have had great experiences with jean's lasting a lot longer than a year , don't know what went wrong either quality of material or a bad bach hack maybe a jean gremlin in the factory. Needless to say I was expecting more use from them.
I am bias toward Carhartt, so take my opinion as favoritism. They are comfortable and as I have said before, the durability is off the charts.

I've been wearing the Carhartt jeans for many many years. They pretty much last forever, but after years of wear they might get a little tattered around the edges due rough wearing situations. I buy them, usually 2 or 3 at a time. Well, the time came and I ordered just two pair, since I am 68 now and I also have a good number of really old ones of this very type. Great look, great feel, great durability. What more can be asked from a pair of real jeans.

I purchased two pairs. One I'm happy with how they look but the other not so much. They look like grandpa colored pants. Both are the carpenter jeans. I would have liked to have the tool pocket on the right leg each have their own designated pocket. But Carhartt just sowed a small piece to make it look like to pockets. Disappointing. Overall they are really comfortable for me.

The pants were too long ( supposed to be 32â??) actually were 33 - 34â?? making me taking them to Taylor to shorten. I had returned them multiple times to get the right length. You need some sort of quality check. A tape measure would work - thatâ??s what I did! Other than that hassle they are good.
Dear Carhartt,<br />I had the young lady at the store measure them and they were 36".I measured them again when I got home and they were still 36".When I took them out of the washer they still were 36".But when I took them out of the dryer they became 34".I washed and dried them according to instruction so I don't see how they shrunk two full inches ? I've never had this or any problem with my Carhartt shirts and jackets and believe me I have many.I guess pants aren't Carhartt's strong suit,sad.

I like these jeans. They fit comfortably. I would normally wear a size 36 x 28 on my 5 foot 7 inch 166 pound frame. A year ago I was given an Illeostomy and can no longer wear normal clothing which would restrict the function of the ileostomy bag since the stoma is right at the belt line. I have to use suspenders to pull the waist up, over the stoma site giving me an old fashioned â??high waistâ?? look. You have good rise on the 44 x 28 jeans and with the longer zipper it is easier to get out. Consider changing your line, with high waist, baggy rear ends and is much more comfortable to squat and move about in. They are baggy in the thighs for me, but are at this point, comfortable. Thanks

If there was a Carhartt store near me, I'd go there to buy my work clothes. Online sales are great. I don't have to go out to get clothes. Yet I cannot try on the clothing before buying. It's really disappointing to order a few pairs of pants and all three are too large in the waist. I ordered three pair of 30" waist B13. They just cannot be 30. They must be at least 31. It takes a lot of belt to keep these pants in place. Over a year ago, I ordered six pair of 30" B13. Two pair fit, four were a little loose in the waist... but not like this time! I can barely wear the last order. So I'm going to try getting away from "loose fit" and move to "relaxed fit." Perhaps the waist will be something closer to 30" in the relaxed fit.

I have some Carhartt washed duck work pants that are over 11 years old and I still wear them. They have holes that are from repetitive tasks I've done while wearing them, but other than that, and the pocket rim being tattered, they are still quite usable.<br /><br />Over the last two years or so it seems the quality of manufacturing and durability of denim material has decreased. I bought two identical pair only a few months apart, one pair is loose, one pair is tight (if possible, always try them on, even if you know "your size"). <br /><br />The most recent pair I ordered online. The material doesn't feel the same, and as another review noted, the stitching is not gold thread, but white. These do not appear to be the same pants. The cut and fit are still good, but if you're used to the good ol' Carhartt pants you've been wearing for years, these will feel different than the washed denim work dungarees from a few years ago.<br /><br />I like Carhartt. I like their clothing line. But, for the price and short life span of work pants recently, I would like to see them return to the quality I grew to know and love. <br />I have a pair of Duluth Trading firehose pants. I wore them out too, but at least they offer free replacement! I still prefer the comfort of the Carhartt work pants, but I'll probably be buying only the washed duck work dungaree, due to the unpleasant changes to the denim line.

Did residential then later as a foreman for CECO Concrete Construction Co in total over 10 yrs your clothing products always lasted the longest in extreme working conditions. The fit allowed better comfort be it kneeling, lifting or swinging a hammer all day long. <br /><br />Considering I work 8-10hrs a day plus an hour of commuting home then spending time with my family, ordering products via internet has been a life saver. Never once have I had a problem with shipping and always delivered on time. <br />Unfortunately had a catastrophic injury while on vacation and am now completely disabled. Luckily am a prior service Marine and combat veteran so my medical needs are provided for. With that said live off my social security while raising two children on my own. Although money is tight your prices are more than reasonable. And now in a wheelchair the fit of your trousers actually go high enough around my waist so as not to resemble a ‘plumber’ bending over while I sit, haha.<br /><br />Thank you for your professionalism and superior products! I bought five pairs of Carhart jeans a year ago and was very pleased with the comfort, durability, and the fit... I bought three this year, these jeans have become very thin less durable however the prices remain the same...
I'm a full time licensed HVAC tech and have been in the business for 14 years. As you can imagine we thrash work clothes to nothing left but threads and rags. I can't think of any other occupation that would be harder on them. Think of all the crawling around we do in attics, crawlspaces and basement floors. We are always on our knees kneeling down and crawling over stuff. The day wouldn't be complete if you didn't make at least 500 trips up and down the basement stairs and out to the truck. There is also a lot of sharp metal with screws, nails, rivets and anything else that tears or cuts to contend with. We are using turbo acetylene and propane torches quite often too. Pipe dope, PVC glue, silicone, thread cutting oil and Freon compressor oil do a number also. I've always worn Dickies carpenter jeans in the past. I don't like the current fit of them with the low waist girly pants fit and a almost peg leg cuff that doesn't fit over work boots very well anymore. I found that the Carhartt version is cut the way I want them to be void of these modern trends. I'm going to be giving these a try and see how they hold up and work for me. They sure fit a lot better than the competition to start the whole thing off on the right foot for now. The price isn't that much more if they fit better and hold up halfway decently.<br />

These jeans last longer than any others I have purchased - usually jeans last me about 3 months - going on 7 months now and they still look like new. Tried these jeans because I have been extremely happy with my Carhartt jacket. You will be happy with this purchase.
My husband has worn this style for years and wears them 5-7 days a week. This is his favorite style and we have always been loyal to the Carhartt brand. We have always purchased 8-10 pair so that they are rotated during two work weeks and get even wear. They now shrink horribly and the pockets start to come apart at the top corners where they are attached to the jeans. They used to last about 2-3 years but now we are lucky if he gets 8-10 months out of them! The quality has really gone downhill in recent years. Unless quality changes or these get replaced, we will be looking for a new brand that holds up. We are really disappointed and by the looks of many reviews here, we are not alone. What happened to your long lasting quality, Carhartt??? :( :(
I Like these jeans wore 30-30 in the past they were a little loose so I ordered 29-30 very disappointed they are about an 1.5" bigger than the size 30-30 I had cant even were them with out a belt. quality control and sizing are not what they used to be.

The quality of your jeans is less i suppose to save money if you use the back pockets at all holes form around the tops of the pockets,the knees wear out easily. Your bibs as well the quality is not there. So disappointing after so many years of being a customer.
I have been a die hard Carhartt supporter over the years. I am GREATLY disappointed in the quality of their jeans. Back pockets just form holes and tear. Unacceptable.
After many years of buying these pants, and being highly satisfied, I'm very disappointed. The last pair I bought was only worn perhaps 10 times over the course of a couple months. The corners of the hip pockets had worn through, the knees were virtually threadbare. <br /><br />I will be buying my workpants elsewhere from now on.

I have tried various carpenter jeans and found none compare to these Carhartt jeans. Love the comfortable fit which allows plenty of room for movement , ride perfectly on your waist and fit over work boots. The pockets are spacious for carrying whatever you may need on the job. Triple stitching on major seams provide durability and a solid look , They have a soft feel, not like so many stiff jeans. I wear these for work and most other occasions and keep them for years. Proud to be a Carhartt man.
I have been wearing these jeans for years. I probably buy 10 pairs per year. The last 3 I have purchased have been no more than 2 weeks old when the corner of the back pockets start to rip, soon after that it is ripped all the way down. I will be looking for a different brand.
I neede 34" waist and 32" inseam and instead got 34" inseam and 32" waist. no where on this site does it tell you that lengh is first size and waist is second size or anything else. Totally dis-appointed in my order and of coarse I now have to send them back and wait for new ones to show up. Very poor site for sizing. Prety sure I am done ordering from this site and company

I have had the mens jeans before so I thought I'd try these. 2 of same size different color and fit completely different both being smaller. I ordered the 36x34 and they fit more like a 34.
When I first discovered the B13 a few years ago I figured I had found the perfect jeans for me. I liked everything about them.<br /><br />I recently ordered a new pair and these are different. The older pairs I have are made from a good mid-weight denim fabric and have gold stitching. These older pants look and feel like "jeans" to me.<br /><br />The newer ones are made from a much thinner fabric and have high-contrast white stitching. These look and feel more like what I'd call painter's pants. They still fit well and are somewhat comfortable. But this new fabric is course and feels more like the weight of a heavy shirt, not pants. They no longer even look like "jeans". I'm very disappointed in this change.

These pants fit me very well. I bought my first pair about 6 years ago and Carhartt pants are all I have warn since then. They are very comfortable and extremely durable. They just don't fail. Before I switched to Carhartts, I had a problem with blowouts in the rear seam. This has never happened in a pair of Carhartts. Well worth the money.
I've been wearing dungarees since the 70's and I was devastated when Oshkosh stopped making them. Carhartt is the closest in fit, durability and quality that I've found. Keep up the good work. I'll be wearing them forever.
Wear these jeans daily, love the fit and the durability. Currently own about 10 pair, some of the old jeans are nearly white from being worn and washed so much. Being an electrican I love the pockets, they're great for holding tools for quick access.
I love Carhartt! I believe there is no better clothing line out there, based on durability and comfort! Most people wear sweats on sunday to lounge around the house; I wear Carhartt! I find it's the best quality and comfort for the money and the product selection is unbeatable. Most of all, the sizing is great! I wear a 28" waste and find it hard to find a great pair of pants that actually fit as good as Carhartt. In my eyes, Carhartt is the absolute best out there!
These jeans are great, they really stand up to the abuse I put them through at the Scout Camp. The knees hold up well and don't thin out quickly. There are plenty of pockets for tools, pen, knife, etc. My only gripe is that I seem to blow out the belt loop that I clip my keys onto. Other than that, I will keep buying these jeans!!
I'm a tall guy and find it difficult to get a good fit in work pants. The B13s are fabulous. They fit great, are very durable and I use ALL the pockets both on the job and off.
this is a great wearing jean, in the summertime it is the only jean to wear as it is lighter (11.75oz.) than my other styles (15 oz.) and helps with the heat on construction sites, I currrently have 14 pair of this jean and wear them almost every day
These pants are not comfortable compared to the B159 style pant so this is not a replacement. They are a heavy denim pant so they will probably last a long time. The seat fit or rise (seat to waist??) is too long and I'm constantly pulling the legs up to sit down. These are the exact same size as I wear in the B159 style and I was hoping they fit the same but they do not.

I have ordered these jeans in the past. I carry my cell phone in the right side side pocket. The side pockets on these jeans are smaller, the cell phone I’ve been carrying for years is too big for the pocket, thereby rendering these jeans absolutely worthless.
