These pants are not comfortable compared to the B159 style. They are much heavier and bulky. The seat fit or rise (seat to waist??) is too long and I'm constantly pulling the legs up just to sit down. The exact same size in the B159 style was perfect. These are just sitting in my closet while I wear my old B159 style pants.

Bought these for my 17yr old son that is 6'9" tall, the 36" are plenty long for him.
Bot work jeans. Thick canvas type material. Did not even last year got holes in it everywhere. Even in the pocket watch and the rear pocket in the car in my wallet the entire jeans was full of holes. Very disappointing I’ve had blue jeans that lasted 20 years.

These were my favorite pants to wear for work but my last two pairs are not what I bought a couple of years before. this material is different and not in a good way, the fit and sizing like everyone else commented on are always different for each new pair purchased. The new “duck” material is more susceptible to runs and pulls as the material is not smooth like previous “duck” material. If I would have know a tried and true pant would change I would have bought ten pair then looked for a new pant company.
Needed something tough for sailing that wouldn’t rip if caught in a cleat. These fit the bill.

The quality of this garment is excellent. It seems that the size does run small and I will have to return the pants. Because I am homebound and cannot access a UPS drop off station I am at a loss as to how I can facilitate the return. I wish Carhartt offered a USPS option.

Fits just like my old ones??
Way too loose in the legs, did the fit change? I swim around in these, although waist and length are correct. This is the style I’ve always bought, and this was the only fit available. I tried them on prior to washing and noted they were loose, but thought there would be a little shrinkage with the first wash. No such luck, now I am stuck with them.

They suck you changed the material of pants and they are terrible. I hope that whoever gets them from the goodwill bin likes them better.

These pants are my favorite for outdoor rugged work. When my size W28 L32 was out of stock I had to purchase a different brand that were actually supposed to be more sturdy. But guess what. Carhartt won out hands down! And they are the only ones that fit me correctly!

These pants feature heavy rough fabric. Definitely not for casual wear. The fit is baggy, and long. I could have ordered a pair two inches shorter than my usual. They sit high on the waist. Good pants for hard outdoor work. Perfect to wear as a shell over long underwear in winter.

Normally when I order a 32 pant length they are just the right size. These seem to run long. I could hem them but that is more work than I would like to have to do.

Nice pants but didn’t fit right
Quality and selection has been going downhill for a few years. I just hate that I can no longer rely on carhartt for quality work wear. I recently ordered three pair of shorts and the size was way off, just another in a long list of disappointments.

Long-lasting durable good fit. I buy these for 100% cotton as I can't stand polyester or elastane in my work pants. When pants are stretchy they age badly. stretch in pants gets tighter in the thigh and looser in the butt and waist. Please Carhart don't ever stop making 100% cotton work pants, they are awesome how they always hold true to my waist, and while they shape to my legs in time they never change dimensions like elastane pants. They also are always true to my dimensions, so much that I could confidently order online without trying on first.

These are best work pants I’ve found based on fit and durability; oh, and plenty of pockets. I also appreciate the roomy fit. They get a little warm in the Georgia summer but really any long pants do. The only nit I might pick is their length. I wear 31” inseam so 30” or 32” depending. This pant in 30” length is a good 2” too long. I just make sure to empty the rolled cuff outside before washing.

I used to work for a nursery, selling plants, sod, and soil amendments, and loading customers vehicles with their purchases. I wore Carhartt work pants for years without tears or obvious signs of hard wear, washing every couple of days, and attempting to maintain a hard working but well kept appearance. Those pants never let me down. I also insist on wearing pants that have an adequately long zipper. The very idea that some manufacturers are using zippers so short that that a man must unbuckle, unbutton and unzip to take care of business is rediculous.
The build quality is superb! I sent mine back because they fit me more baggy than I was expecting, but other than that carhartt makes my favorite work pants.

I really enjoy these thick pants for work. I work in cleaning and maintenance and they are durable.
The pants for the most part are great but the button was place to far to the side, so that I can not wear them. Because of that its more like a size 32 not the 34 I ordered.
I have been buying these pants for my work uniforms for about 8 years. I have never been disappointed with them. They are comfortable, durable and very functional. I am very please with the durability as I usually get at least 3 years from these pants where I blow through the knees in denim within 7-8 months. I love the side leg pockets for flashlight and pocket knife. I use the moss green and tan pants for hunting and hiking. A spare magazine fits great in the side leg pocket as well. The double front model is great in the rabbit brush. My go to pants for all work, play and even use new pairs for dress.
These pants are a real let down. Very baggy around the ankles and fit much taller than usual. Not impressed, at least I only bought 2 pair.
Comfortable while shoveling rocks all day. No issues with durability so far. Crotch hangs a bit low. Kind of fells like you're wearing a diaper. Otherwise fit is great.

Probably should've just sent you some money directly.<br /><br />Very odd triangular fit, It's kinda like wearing a pair of palazzo pants for men.<br /><br />MUCH tighter in waist, and across the top of hips versus Levi's Denizin in same size. Similar thigh space per Denizen loose fit. Looser below the knee than Levis. <br /><br />Size up if you have a big butt, never expected 38x32 to be too tight when Levi's fit perfect and Lucky are too big for me in the same size.<br /><br />Slash pockets gap annoyingly because of overtight waist and catch on doorknobs or whatever. Can't wear EDC knife in pocket because of gap, the clip will bow out and hit stuff and get knocked out of pocket.<br /><br />Button hole is cut sloppy with big gap and loose threads. Doesn't inspire long-term confidence in durability.<br /><br />Overall am very disappointed. Will donate instead of return since I want Carhartt to have the money even though I am not going to be a return customer.

I love Carhartt products. I bought a pair of “lose” fit” duck utility pants and ended up returning them. Lose fit means LOSE FIT folks. They were too baggy for my liking but if I were using them on a job site where I was crouching and climbing ladders all day then they are exactly what I would want. Great construction and fit at waist, the materials is true to Carhartt standards…excellent! Great pants just not what I was looking for.

These duck pants are excellent and about the only pants that fit me correctly anymore. I have always worn Loose/Dungaree fit pants since I was a teenager. Levis/Dockers hasn’t made any good ones since the late 1990s. On me Carhartt Dungarees fit like normal pants would on the average guy. “Relaxed” fits only fit when that are new, but after several washings are too tight in the thigh and crotch area. These Loose fit/Dungarees are the best made pants I have ever worn. The same goes for the denim version. They have nice heavy brass zippers and the correct number of belt loops which other company’s pants do not. I have bought Carhartts for about 20 years now and will continue to do so.

Great pants. I use them in the field both with and without liner pants — weather dictating. The right leg pocket has been widened for larger phones yet the diagonal flap keeps the phone very secure. The pant legs go over all types of boots. When they wear out, I’ll buy more.

These pants are great! I wear them every day that I work on our 1891 castle restoration. If you want to see a video of them just look up Mooreland House on YouTube. They have made it through every torture test I have come up with.
Not a fan compared my double knee type pants… waist area tighter and zipper would open over time and movement… where my double knee has more material around there and no issues… otherwise nice pants<br />Thanks for all the great products

Carhartt pants are always tight at the waste compared to other brands so i went up a size. The result was a comfortable waste but the legs are absoluly huge on me and I have big legs. Im going to give up on pants from Carhartt.

Finally some pants with leg room! Since Levis discontinued the 560s I've tried dozens of jeans looking for something with leg room. I'm 6'2" 265 lbs I wear a 52 coat I have a 38 waist I was convinced no one made jeans to fit me. I stumbled across these by accident a very happy accident.

The material they use for these is the toughest I've seen in work pants. I wish more of their pant styles had the color options of this one.
The duck carpenter pants are my go to work pants. They take the beating, dirt, oil and grease stains so my jeans don’t get trashed. My only issue with the last two pairs I ordered is that I wear 32 x 30. One pair is perfect and the other is more of a 32 x 28. Not a big deal because I’m wearing them as beater work pants but I’m sure Carhartt would be concerned on inconsistencies in manufacturing.

The inseam length varies greatly between styles. I own B01 Heritage double front, B01 double front and the B11's. The inseam is 34" for all 3 styles but varies significantly with the B01 Heritage having more of 33" fit and the B11's more like a 35". The B01 double front have the truest fit in both waist and inseam. Consistency between styles would be a good move on Carhartt's part. All other aspects are consistent with Carhartt quality.
He loves these pants and we couldn't find any of the heavier weight locally so I was very happy to find them online.
Solid pair of pants, good alternative to jeans and more durable. Have used for manual labour for 5 months now, still in great shape. Watch out for the "fit type" e.g. "loose", the website could be much clearer... the first pair I bought is in the closet waiting for a 50 lb weight gain or to be used in a "baggy" Hallowe'en costume.
Carhartts are always great work pants. These loose fit pants provide plenty of room for squatting and they wear like iron. The side pocket is also perfect for holding my cell phone.

The Carhartt model B11 cotton work pants are an excellent product. I buy them in lots of four pair at a time and this is my third purchase. I work 12 hour days in a ship’s engine room and usually destroy ordinary jeans in a 90 day tour. The Carhartts are far more durable and well worth the money. I only wish that they were American made. Is that possible anymore? Of course it is.

I didn't think it would be so confusing to reorder the exact same work pants I bought last year. I even entered the item number from the tag in the pair. I ordered Relaxed Fit but received Loose Fit and the material was a lot thinner. After placing two orders and having to return them twice, I decided to find a retail store and bought them there.
Amazing pants, I have three colors, two pair each color. One each for welding and one for wearing out/casual. I love Carhartt gear and am starting a collection haha.

32x32. May have needed 33 waist. 32 length for 6’3 is a touch short. 34 would be too long. 33 waist may have allowed for wearing lower on the hips. Loose fit is a misnomer. A bird would struggle to fit into the straight leg pants on that scale. Quality is great. Color is a bit dark. These will probably turn into work pants. Not bad for price. Will try lighter weight Carhartt pants next. Still a fan.

Great pant for restaurant work. The 28” is a hard size to find and we were happy to find online. The 100% cotton is sturdy and comfortable. Pockets are great too!

I used to wear jeans to do work in, but started wearing these pants instead. They are amazingly comfortable and I feel that they are more durable than any other pants that I've worn in the past.
Pants seem fine it’s the design I needed slim fit these are like balloons in the thigh I have a tall small (skinny) employee and a short small employee I need 29x30 slim fit but exact same color and 30x34 or 30x36 depending shrinking after being washed
My teenage son does a lot of mechanic work, and he always wears these pants now. They are very comfortable and a lot tougher than jeans. Before he started wearing these 2 years ago he was always ripping his jeans.

The Good: Super soft and comfortable. Durable as well. <br />The Bad: This model is HUGE. Unbelievably baggy and the leg openings at the bottom are enormous! Like bell bottoms from the 70’s. <br /><br />I’m 6 feet tall and ordered a 32 inseam. They were 3 inches too long. Needless to say I sent them back and got a different model. Loose fit is better fitting than these. <br />Just my experience. Hopefully yours will be better. Regardless I recommend ordering a size smaller in length than normal.

The only thing is the waist may be cut alittle tight and the legs are straight cut and very baggy so watch your step!
I've worn this line of pants for 20 years. They are comfortable and feel great for work and play. They aren't as rugged as the double knee pants, but are a bit cooler and lighter. They generally fail in the knees but only after a good several-year-life.

More comfortable right away than unwashed versions, which I usually buy but couldn't find. I have 3-4 year old unwashed styles that feel more substantial than these. I worry about their longevity/durability. Time will tell...
Overall good pants. <br /><br />Seem like they run a bit longer than 32”, but not to the degree that they’re unwearable. Waist measurement seems spot on. I ordered 5 pairs and the fit and stitching is all consistent. <br /><br />Material seems pretty tough and already holding up better than my old Dickies work pants, but they aren’t so heavy weight they feel hot to wear. <br /><br />Pockets are VERY deep which has its own pro/con. You can fit a lot in them but pens, pencils etc end up shifting sideways and you really have to dig for them.

Very rugged and tough material. I am clearing land so they need to deal with many thorns, etc. which they seem to do fine. Unfortunately, they are a full inch longer than what I ordered and what is marked on the pants themselves.
The pants are to baggy and this makes them uncomfortable I wish they were a bit slimmer at the legs.

These were purchased for my 37 year old son. He has literally worn out his old pair and wanted a replacement. Unfortunately the cut on these was looser and they did not fit well. Carhartt was out of his size in a similar style to his old pants and he had to order from a different website. When Carhartt replenishes their stock he will be back because these are the very best pants for work. You just have to be careful of the cut. I wish we could just reorder the old styles. Sometimes leaving a working style in stock is better. Guys like to just get another pair of what they love.

I previously rated the 3 pair of pants that I purchased. I had to return all 3 pair because they were too big. Therefore I am not really able to rate much of the experience ---- durability and functionality.
Legs were just a little long.
I wear these pants daily and buy a new pair roughly every year or two. This pair regrettably has pockets shallower than previous pairs by a centimeter or more. They also fit a bit more tightly through the hips and crotch. I preferred the previous ones, but will make do with these.

Not a fan of wide leg pants. I wished you made them in relaxed fit. They also seem to run a little long. However, they are extremely tough and work great for walking around in the thick brush.
Good work pants. It's loose in a way that lets you move in all sorts of tight situations but still cinches up at the waist just fine. No need to overtighten your belt.<br /><br />It's heavy material, though. I'll be primarily wearing these in winter.

I like everything about these BUT the fit. The waist is a true 32" but the hips flare way out and the thighs are huge. These look like parachute pants. I can fit both of my legs in one pant leg.

The y run a little tighter in the waist, but are otherwise fine. After wearing a few hours they still don't loosen much in the waist. In the future, I'll buy them one size larger in the waist compared to my Traditional Fit Carhart jeans

They are ok but not what I wanted. I now have three strikeouts. Maybe if in the description you include the weight of the fabric that would give me a clue to get the heavy weight pants. Obviously duck and canvas are not enough information.

At first I was a bit disappointed with the duck fabric appearance and feel. I’ve only had canvas dbl front in the past and expected the same stiffness. After two washs, I’m good, same Carhartt toughness I expected.
Do you know how hard it is to find a 30/34 pant? Very hard, but Carhart came through. These pants fit true to size and are the only thing I will wear around my property!
Even though these are men's pants, I am a woman and they fit very well. Loose in the leg and not too big in the waist so I don't need a belt. I work at a nursery and feed store and these pants take a beating but they hold up a long time!

I’ve only had these pants for 10 months and the tool pocket already has a hole in it. The only reason I bought these was because I like the way I can fit my channel locks in that pocket. I bought a pair of Levi’s work pants around the same time and they have held up much better. I think I am going to go with those from now on.

I love these pants for work from mid-fall to mid-spring. Thick, warm, and tough. I've been buying them for about 9 years and generally if i buy 2 pairs at the same time they last about 2 years. Quite amazing considering I am an HVAC technician. I crouch, kneel, slide and crawl around in crawlspaces. These pants are a must-have. Love the side pocket for my black marker too. Highly recommend.

I wear a size 32” waist in every brand of pant I own. Whenever I order Carhartt I have to go one size up. Even then this size 34 is a tad tight.<br />I also wish they would use longer zippers in the fly. My Wrangler brand pants have better zippers.<br />I do like the duck material (even though it is awful stiff) for walking in the forest through the thickets, the pants just brush right through the bushes with no problem.

Got these for welding as I need 100% cotton pants and it's nearly impossible to find women's pants that don't have elastane or other flammable materials. I'm normally a size 29Wx30L in women's Levi's jeans but I wear a 32Wx30L in these and they fit perfectly. Super comfortable while still being durable and allowing me to kneel/crouch. Canadians beware that the cost of shipping is essentially the same price as the pair of pants making this purchase a little expensive but the pants are well worth it and there were no duties.

Female, purchased a pair of men's, (in same size as Levi's that I own); super durable, much bigger leg and pockets than women's. Fabric is very tough, (but surprisingly soft and comfortable).
When I first received these, they fit pretty good, maybe even a little loose. Then, after washing and air drying, they shrink to the point that I could not wear them. I had the same issue with my duck bibs. I have been happy with most other Carhartt products, but they should warn about the shrinkage with this product.
These are very comfortable as they are higher fitting and allow more movement than pevious pairs. I would recommend this color, although not pleasing to the eye, but dirt and other soil does not show.

I work on a farm and these are amazing. They run a tad large, I'm 6ft 160lbs and a 32x32 (usually my size) was a little big. Other than that, they're incredibly well made and super durable. My Carhartt gear is by far my most versatile equipment and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

These pants are incredibly well constructed! It is amazing how thick and durable the fabric is. There is attention to detail in the construction. It's a quality product! I do find they run a little small. I have two pair and the second is one waist size up from my usual size and fits better (unless you like a tighter fit). It's also nice to see they're not made in China. They're made in Mexico - safer trading partner :-)

For my last few work pants, I decided to give Duluth Trading a try. Initial pairs were comparable to Carhartt. Last pair Of Duluth pants were horrible, the quality and sizing was no where near the previous pairs. So, back to Carhartt What's with Carhartt sizing? Ordered my usual size an fit pant. These were so oversized it was ridiculous. Sent them back. Will find a local outlet so I can actually try on the pants. Disappointing waste of time!

These pants are made to get work done. They keep you warm even in harsh temperatures and high winds. They have multiple pockets making them even more functional for on the job workdays. I really like them but the waist is real small. I wear a 34 waist but they seem to fit like a 32. After washing they the 2nd time I ended up giving they to my grandson who wears a 32 waist and he said they fit him great. I would like to get another pair but I don't know if I should order another pair with 34 waist or if I should go bigger. I really like the pants.
My only issue is that the 30 inch inseam runs long and having to hem them is not something I can easily do.

I wear a 33 waist in every other pair of jeans. These fit like a 31 or 32 waist. I returned them and will order the next size up because Carhartt is awesome.

I ordered quickly thinking i was getting fleece lined pants, but did not seem to be the case when they came in. however there is plenty of slack in the seat, and legs for other layers under these. They are very comfortable.

This is really their best product. I do electrical work, both commercial and industrial and a majority of the time exposed to the elements. I've tried several other brands, Dickies, Ridgecut, Wrangler, Costco brand, etc. These are the best pants you can buy, flat out. These will be the only work pants buy. They are strong, durable, and flexible. It's the perfect blend of these three qualities that you always look for in a work pants and these deliver, plus they come in a wide variety of sizes. I know they are expensive and it's hard to pay that price for pants, but trust me, they are worth the money you pay for them.

Carhartt duck work pants are great
The legs are way to long. The waist and inseam fit well, but there is no consideration while finishing the legs. I will need to have them hemmed 4”-6”
Love the pants with the exception of the rise. Wish the rise was about 1” shorter.

Like everything else made by Carhartt, these pants are good looking, fit great and are very durable. I'm constantly crawling around on all kinds of surfaces and these pants have not shown the first hint of damage or even wear!
the waste fit well but the length at 32 inches is about 2 inches too long. they were for my son who is 5'11 1/2" inches tall.........AND ALWAYS WEARS 32 INCH INSEAM.
They are exactly what I wanted. I have a pair that are easily 15 years old and finally needed a new pair...but still work in the old pair!

In my opinion these are the best work pants available. The pockets are well made and very functional. Very worker friendly. Fabric is rugged yet comfortable. Color choices are great for outdoor activities. Size and fit are excellent with waist size choices separated by the inch. Only feature missing is water resistance. They do dry relatively quickly however. Overall a great product for the physically active careerist and outdoorsman.
Ordered by mail - First time trying this particular model, because I liked the blue color. Unfortunately they ran a little too big and wide legged on me... Returned and exchanged for what I'm used to.

Love the pants, have several pairs, but the 30's look like highwater after a year of washing and the 32's are way too long for a year until they get washed a bunch. Wish you had an option for 31" inseam

these pants fit right and are definitely high quality and durable, I'd prefer a slightly lighter weight fabric (10 0z?) and double knees for knee pads like my old B-195's, which don't seem to to be available any more. The B-195's are great but a little too light weight (8 oz?)

These are the only pants I wear. <br />I’m a carpenter, and the pants get abused on the job, but they stand up to it really well. I have a pair of the washed duck Carharrts (now shorts) that I’ve worn very regularly, and are older than my 13 year old son.

The pants are five starts except in consistency of sizing. Ordered five pairs (all same size) two were too small
Since these were my first pair of Duck pants unaware of how their sizing was, and since Carhartt offered 25% off with free returns, I ordered four pairs with various colors (Carhartt Brown and Moss) and lengths (34/30 and 34/32). As far as length, I'm 5'10 with a longer torso and the 30's were plenty long. I'd say 32's are meant for those 6' tall and up. As far as waist size, this is the reason I'm giving a four star rating instead of five. All four pairs fit completely different. One pair fit like a 32. Two others fit like 33's and the one final 34/30 in Carhartt Brown fit perfectly, maybe even a bit loose. So I sent the others back, but still wanted a pair of the Moss colored in 34/30. I got on an online chat and when I questioned what to do about the waist size, he told me since returns were free, order a bunch and find one that fits and send back the rest. This tells me waist size control is not the greatest. Regardless, I have a pair that fits and performs great!

I generally wear a 34/36, but went with a 36 waist to give extra room for cold weather base layers.<br /><br />I also got a 34 length to avoid the extra length getting caught in gears. But, the pants are made so long that they are over my feet. <br /><br />I'm going to have them cuffed, keep wearing them, and order a 32 length next time. I ordered a pair of the carpenter pants as well, and they are the perfect length. Weird.<br /><br />Otherwise, these are great pants. I couldn't be happier with the quality, durability, and the look.

Washed well. Waist is cut to fit, so I dried them on low so no shrinking. Legs are wide like young people like, so hubby will have to get used to wider cut leg. (He’s used to boot cut ) Pockets are deep and easy to access. Appreciates that feature.

Overall, these pants are great! They are tough and durable, the perfect pants for working around the homestead milling lumber, logging timber, and working on farm chores. We buy Carhartt because, having seven children, we know they will last many times over as hand-me-downs. These pants fit my 14 year old son well, with a little room to grow. We usually purchase a bit on the bigger side as these pants seem to shrink slightly in the dryer. They are also pretty stiff at first, but slowly soften up enough to be comfy without losing durability.
This is a solid work pant that won't be wearing out soon. Plenty of room to move around in. Sizing, hmmm, waist is fine but length seems a little long. Purchased three pair for a new job.
I liked the Carhartt shorts with the 12 oz. cloth.<br />They discontinued the shorts with 8 in. inseam. I buy the B-11 work pants, take them to a local seamstress and voila' I have my old B-25's work shorts. The fabric wears like iron. I mean 3-4-? years.
They are still in great condition, not quite as stiff as when new but no fraying or anything. They are moss color and barely faded after a year. I got a 38 waist and it fits well but I wear a 36 in carhartt shorts and a 36 in dickies.
Excellent quality, fit and appearance. This is my third pair of these pants. I love them. They far outlast any blue jean.
2 wearings and 1 washing and has 2 holes in them. Only wore them to work in a retail store.

The problen with the double front washed duck pant is the heat. I use the knee pads you can slide into them. As a landscaper I live this feature however, they are to hard to take out and put back in if you become hot. You guys are on the right track.
Best work pants ever. You can wear them for anything, any project, whatever you need to do. You will have enough pockets and be able to kneal anywhere to work. Thick cotton that will stay stiff for awhile, but it means they will remain solid for long!

Too Large. Was not even close to being true to size. Had to send them back. We have never had this problem before...not sure why they were so large this time. Even double checked to make sure they didn’t send us the wrong ones. I was happy with the Free returns...made it easy to ship them back for a full refund.

Solid work pants a little warm if you live in the south, but will be perfect for fall and winter. I got the relaxed fit, prob should have went with reg or boot cut... relaxed is a little baggy for me, but to each his own.

Your product is just fine, but the waist is too small for me and they're just too baggy. I wear a 31 inch waist, which is sometimes hard........I'll have to look up you return policy and get these returned ASAP.

I had bought my husband 2 pairs and within 1 time wear 1 pair had a hole in the butt/side area. The other pair the zipper does not work so what can I do with the pants he can’t wear them like that and the are brand new
I'd give them five stars for material and stitching, but I'm knocking off two stars for wildly inconsistent sizing. <br /><br />I've worn this style of work pants for years and currently have six older pairs in the rotation, all 36Wx32L, as are all my other pants. The older pants all fit properly. <br /><br />I recently ordered five new pants, and unfortunately, the sizing is wildly erratic. Although they're all labeled 36Wx32L, two fit around the waist, two have waists that are so small they can hardly be buttoned, and one pair has a waist so large that they'll fall down if I'm not wearing a belt.<br /><br />The legs are all consistently about two inches too long. I'm rolling up the cuffs, but I'm also catching a lot of debris. <br /><br />Looks like someone needs to talk to the quality control personnel.
I did not realize they were “loose fit” when I ordered them. So even though I ordered a size up, they still did not fit. I also did not want loose fit. Probably my bad for not paying attention.

My husband wears a size 36x34 so that is the size he bought. The pants were so small that he couldn't even button them.
The label says they are the same size and model as the Carhartts I've been wearing for over 10 years, but this pair is so long, I have to cuff them to avoid walking on them. <br /><br />The material seems noticeably thinner. <br /><br />I had not realized it, but Carhartt's Midnight color is almost black.
Wore them for threw days and the bottoms of the pants started to fray apart.
Sizing isn’t very accurate, so they are being returned.

Spend a little more money for these in comparison to other brands. Well made and I can get my hands in the pockets, and my leg up into my truck. Fabric is durable, stitching is superior design is much better.

I love Carhartts, both for work and general wear. Stopped wearing jeans years ago. Carhartts are way more comfortable. Wish they lasted just a little bit longer than they, but when they're worn it's time for a new pair. I get about a year of them.

I've gone through a handful of brands of work pants over the years but none of them felt right until I came upon carhartt. <br /><br />Carhartt is really the perfect fit for me. I will add that it does run a tad long even after washing and drying. The fit is just enough to allow mobility without being baggy. The double front style will surely allow it to last for years. The pockets are just the right size, not too long. Try a pair. I wish I did years ago.

I am a maintenance technician and love the B-11 Carhartt pants. They are the only pant that can hold up to my job. I have been wearing that style for 20 years and will never change.
I'm a larger guy and a good work pant is so hard for me. I often find issues with size, fit, and overall comfort. These pants check all three boxes and so much more. They fit great, even run a little larger to size, I can move around in them just fine, and they have stood up to everything I've thrown at them as far as work goes. Carhartt has a loyal customer in me.
Not happy with the 2 pair I just received, made in Mexico, they are thinner than my older ones that are made in USA, won't buy again.
If you're looking for pants that will go the distance no matter what you're doing, these are it. I have two pairs of black and that's basically all I wear anymore.

I ordered the black and midnight/ blue. I have used the blue ones in the past and they seem to be more durable than regular jeans for work pants. A little looser in the legs than I like to wear jeans but then again I use them for work. Size seems consistent with the older ones I had.

I bought these for my husband. He likes the extra pockets and they are well made. They are a little looser in the waist and hip than I expected, but he says it makes for easier movement when he's working. He has suspenders and he uses them to take up the little extra in the waist.

I absolutely love carhartt work pants, they just run a little small. I ordered a size bigger than what I normally wear, and they’re so tight in the waste they are almost too comfortable to wear. I definitely recommend this style of work pants, just be sure to order a couple sizes bigger than normal!
These pants fit me well. I know from experience that they wear like iron.
The material is stiff and unworkable. The cut it horribly fitting. The legs are cut far too wide for the size. My loose pant legs constantly rub and catch on things. Good thing they're durable or they'd have already torn apart. The length also runs a full 2 inches longer than any other 36 length pants I own. Considering these are heavy duty work pants, this is far from ideal. In situations where heavy duty work pants are a necessity, boots should be a given. I have to roll my pant legs up twice when I put them on. The material is so thick that hemming them would be difficult/impossible with small sewing machine. Overall, these are very durable pants, but at the cost of being uncomfortable, unsightly, and very poor fitting. These are not workable work pants in my case and I wish I could exchange them for one of your better lines of pants.

The fit runs large
I used to buy another vendor's pants because of the heavy and rugged fabric. That manufacturer went for a stretchy material that just doesn't stand up. So now I'm a Carhartt guy. These pants are rugged and fit great. Working outside felling trees and splitting wood takes its toll on me and my clothes. Keep them coming and thanks for holding the line on high-performance work clothes that work as hard as I do.
I like the color and the fit. Were going to be work pants but I like them so much going to use them for casual wear for a while.
I've only had these pants for a month, so that is why only 4 stars. I've worn them just one time. They were comfortable. Although they feel very robust, I can't say about durability. I like them so far.
I thought the quility was great but the pants were to small so I have sent them back for a refund. I have not seen the refrund show up on my cerdit card yet
I have owned numerous pairs of these work pants throughout my life. They fit comfortablely, mobility is great, and they hold up amazingly......I mean untill the butt tears out of mine....after 4 or 5 years of heavy use. Who has a better pant that last that long and hold up to strenuous work.

Very satisfied with these pants. I used to buy Wrangler but they tightened the fit too much. The Carhartt pants are a much fuller cut in the legs and<br />the fabric is better also. I would definitely recommend these pants and I<br />will buy more.

you do not carry many pant styles in 28 waist I think a total of 4 styles but was glad to find these I have used carhart for years and they hold up well.

good construction but the waist is too high for the normal man with a bit of a belly bulge and enough room in the legs for some of my friends to wear them with me…..I think car heart rally fell down on this one…I wear the old style that they don’t make anymore (style #101710-211) and they were the greatest work pants….I am now buying Dickies…they are a bit smaller in the legs and sit a little below the waist..

Really terrible experience so far, spent $100 on a pair of pants and two shirts, ordered too large and needed to return but returning items will cost me $25! I guess I’ll have to wait for stores to reopen and try to return there. Kind of a rip off that returns aren’t free or discounted when items are so expensive. Will not be purchasing from carhartt again.

Pants were as advertised. Good fit and comnfortable.
I ordered a size 30 waist. I'm a slim guy and the pants were too snug at the waist. After washing them I cant even button them now. The legs are twice as baggy as pictures represent. The quality is excellent, however the sizing is not true to fit. And the most upsetting part of all, these pants are not made is USA.

They seem very well made but they're super super baggy. Could fit two of me inside. For a 34/34 fit, I'm not sure why so much fabric is used.

I bought a couple of pairs, but didn't see that they were "loose fit" when I ordered them. So, they felt really loose in the legs, plus a bit long when I first tried them on; however, the waist fit perfectly. BTW, I measured the inseam, and it was as ordered. I wore them a couple of times, and I LOVE them now. Even more than the relaxed fit twill. The roominess in the legs is AWESOME! Zero restriction when squatting down installing cabinets or while roof framing. I also love the fabric. It feels really durable, yet soft enough.
Even though these pants are for men. women love them. I bought a pair for my sister. a 28 waist was snug, but she loved them.

Hoping they will both fade some with washing.<br />I really was look ing for the sand toned or denim non double knee version of the same style.<br />Big Carhartt fan. Picked it up when I lived in Washington state. Grew up wearing another brand for 50 year, but they moved to <br />China. Like your shirts as well!

I like them very much. They remind me when my mother used order blue jeans for us kids and the jeans back then were tough. Any time you see something that says import don't by it. The quality is not there, they never fit, in general they are not worth the money, period. I will by American made products from here on out. The cost is a little higher but the quality is there and so is the durability which makes up for it. Buy American, period.

Got these to do work in construction, very durable and super comfortable. Utility pockets are well placed and stains wash out of the fabric.
These are perfect work pants! Roomy legs, plenty of pockets, heavy weight and good fit! I work in outdoor conditions in Michigan winters, and these pants are great, they are roomy enough to wear long johns underneath without adding much bulk! Highly recommended! But maybe too heavy for summer months

POCKETS! Compared to another brand's jeans, your front pockets are shallow, in fact they are very shallow. Front and back pocket openings are too high up. Back pockets are too shallow for a cellphone. But, better material than jeans, and I anticipate them lasting longer. Jacket and raincoat are excellent. I'm planning to buy long sleeve t-shirts soon. Hopefully they won't draw up and loose their shape like your major competitors.

Nice pants. Great material. Sizes are a little smaller than “normal”. For me at least. Generally I wear a 34x34. This is the 2nd our ive had to send back because of size. I even went to 36x34 (relaxed fit) and still too small. Going to try the 38x34 once return is processed

I am a Carhartt fan, however, these pants are a disappointment. Wore and washed twice and two of the belt loops rip and failed. This isn’t the first time I have had this issue. Very disappointed because all other products are great. Carhartt has a real pants problem.

I purchased some Duck Canvas trousers years ago. This is my second and third pair I purchased them on 2/9/20 at the Pittsburgh Waterfront Store #0017. Paulette helped me and she was absolutely professional, courteous, and polite. The other ladies jumped in and helped as well. I went back on 2/11/20 to take a friend, we are both veterans and they were the same even keeled team that I met 2 days prior to this visit. The trousers are extremely durable and they fit great. I also purchased two long sleeved Henley shirts. I will continue to recommend my friends to Carhartt store 0017 for their work clothes needs.

I ordered a couple of regular, straight legged, Duck work pants and received 2 pairs of flex work pants that had larger legs, almost like the relaxed fit. I wasn't happy with the pants I received, so I sent them back. I had called your company to get help ordering the correct type of pants I wanted. I guess your company doesn't manufacture the regular, straight legged Duck work pants? I don't need nor desire relaxed or flex work pants.
With the relax fit more comfy than my 501's I did notice that between the 36 and the 34 the cut got bigger and baggier almost to much material for me but my 34 are 5 years old

These appear to be nice tough pants. I hope to be able to wear them someday if I can get them shortened since they are about 2 inches too long. Carhartts “True Fit” guide said the 30 inch inseam would fit my 5’ 6” - 140 lbs. frame. But then a shorter 28” inseam is not even offered. The 30 inch waist fits fine.<br /><br />I can’t recommend this for short people due to the sizing limitations.

I wear nothing but Carhartt to work in and i like the fit of original dungaree but i have found they run small in waste i do not like loose original this was not a problem for years i wear a 34x32 the loose original fit i would need to get a 36x32 and then they would fit like a sack.

Pants are still good. Shirts need improvement! Tons of improvement! Best shirt ever made was the Oakman and they stopped making it. Big mistake for carhartt. Lost a lot of my business due to the shirts that are no longer 100% cotton.
These are my husband’s favorite pants, first bought about 3-4 years ago. He’s got muscular legs and these fit well, look good, and are very durable.

The Duck work pants are great. Disappointed in the colour of the other pair that I bought. Your website said teal colour. They were not teal. They were the same colour of the Duck work pant.

Orders a 30 inch inseam and got like a 32 inch inseam way to long, I am going to have them hemmed up if I want to wear them.
These ones weren’t true to size, I got them and they were extremely baggy and big on me even though I ordered them the exact same size as my other ones.
Great quality, prewashed helpful. Waist sits higher than typical jeans and is tighter than expected but not overly so.
Well pleased could not find size locally so I ordered for my son and I am well pleased.

Love these pants, you gotta break them in at first as they are quite stiff. But as everyday work pants, these can't be beat.

I was lucky enough to discover Carhartt clothing about 8 years ago. Carhartt is the only pants I purchase for business casual appearance. I've purchased the pants in many different colors and they are comfortable and look great with nice polo style shirts. Brag to my friends they need to be wearing Carhartt clothing, especially the pants.

A very rugged durable pant, with reinforced knee area. Side pockets for small hand tools or flashlight. My son works on cars all day, is often on his knees and found that other brands didn't last 4 months. The Carhart washed duck material holds up to his activities and last for a year. Well made, perfect fit and long lasting.

I got these for christmas I wear 34/30 and it's insane how big these pant legs are I can fit three of my legs through these pants is this how they suppose to be cause the picture of these are so far off from what they look like on me. I may not be the typical Carhartt customer in that I'm not doing ag or construction; however, I do need durable pants that fit and allow me to move around. Having some useful pockets and otherwise low-key, no-nonsense design and construction is a huge bonus. Extra bonus if the pants aren't $100. <br /><br />I bought a pair of the traditional brown color about 2 months ago and have worn them daily since — I wash them every two weeks or so. I wear them bike riding, hiking, traveling and while photography work. I don't have a car so I walk/transit or ride a bike everywhere, so I have a "permanent" cuff about mid-calf on both legs (I also don't like trouser legs flopping around when I walk). <br /><br />My photography often has me rolling around or sitting on the ground on dirt and concrete. I don't worry about tearing or damaging my pants, and they look better with some dirt on them. I was recently in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree (wife and I left the park in a huge snowstorm, driving our sketchy rental car out shortly before roads were closed). Being cotton duck, the pants got a little wet, but dried out reasonably well. While in Palm Springs they looked presentable enough. Up at 8,000 feet of San Jacinto State Park, the tight weave of the fabric cut out the wind.<br /><br />The sizing works perfectly with my bike legs (pants are normally huge in the waist, tight everywhere else, these are the opposite). I can wear merino or synthetic baselayers — lightweight or medium weight — if the weather calls for that without feeling restricted. <br /><br />The pockets are oddly perfect: I have a light meter or small point-and-shoot camera in the larger right thigh pocket; sometimes an Estwing framing hammer and spirit level in the other pockets. I accumulate wrappers and trash in the left utility pocket (a habit I picked up from my Boy Scout days and the Burning Man community).<br />I'm thinking of buying a second pair, maybe a different color to mix it up.

these pants wear like iron. need to be washed a few times to soften up some but that is a small trade off for the kind of durability they provide. they are a good choice if you don't need the double front for work use. I will continue to purchase these.

These pants fit good and are comfortable. I normally wear the B151 style pants, this time I ordered some B11. The fit is similar, I ordered the B11 because they are a thicker material making them warmer for the winter time. So far they are working out how I imagined, the B11 style do seam a bit baggier over the B151. As always, I will order more pairs of either style as needed. First time ordering direct as I usually order through another website since almost no brick an mortar chain store sell Carhartt brand anymore.

I would recommend this product, my husband wears them everyday to work and they hold up well after wearing and washing. The rear pocket began to fray where he keeps his wallet in one pair. Otherwise, they wear extremely well.

Needed black pants for work but wanted something that would hold up. My brother in law recommended carhartt relaxed fit. $86.00 for 2 pairs but the loyalty program is on point. Best pants I have ever bought. Won’t ever buy anything else. They are warm, plenty of deep pockets, belt loops are thick, wide and haven’t broke. Yet.

The pants themselves are great, perfect fit in the waist also...BUT ...the pant legs on these are so aggressively large it’s absurd I can almost literally fit two legs fully into one pant leg and I wear a 32x32. Functionally the huge jnco jeans style pant legs get in the way, the catch in things are constantly getting caught under my boots at work..it’s bad enough to where I may go to the dry cleaners and see if they can re sew the legs to make them fit like a normal pair of jeans

Hugely baggy. Different material. <br />These ones advertise “relaxed”.. which is an actual size. They’re loose fit. Real loose.<br />You guys discontinued a version of these about a year ago and the material was thicker, the fit was nice (relaxed), and I’m returning these ones.<br />There are no other comparable pants you make now. They are all loose (mc hammer), ripstop, or jeans. I am forced to go else where. Way to ruin a good thing.

I started wearing these pants years ago because they came in long inseams. Ever since they are my go to pants except in the heat of summer. The side leg pocket is perfect for my phone storage.
I didn't see anywhere in the description that it was a Loose Fit. I always get relax for and filter my searches for that. The legs on these are huge and will have to return them. Like the color, too bad I can't keep them.

Well, I used to buy the washed duck 5 pocket before they were discontinued (About a year ago). These looked very comparable. <br />Nope.<br />The “older style” had a relaxed fit. The description on these current ones says they are “a relaxed fit..” super misleading because they arrived loose fit. I looked like mc hammer. <br />Furthermore, there are no similar ones in your true relaxed fit. Just jeans and rugged flex. <br />So I gotta send them back and go else where.

Way to baggy in the thigh and down the leg
About 10 years ago all i ever wore was Carhartt jeans, this style as well as double logger jeans. Loved the quality and the fit. NOW quality still seems ok but they fit HORRIBLE. The waist fits fine but the length......forget it. I wear a 30 length , have for 20 years,these and the double logger i recently purchased fall over the back of my boots and i could probably fit 2 legs in 1 pant leg. Done buying Carhartt jeans, and they are supposed to be "original fit". My size is 38 waist x 30 length, i ordered 40x30 because Carhartt waists are small in general and they fit like some MC HAMMER pants.

I tried to order another pair and couldn’t figure out how to get a different fit/style so I didn’t buy them. These durable, great fitting pants are tough enough to handle the outdoors or turning a wrench in the garage and look nice enough to take your lady out on Friday night. That's why you need at least two pair.

In the past I was purchasing another brand’s pants and without fail, within a month or two I would wear holes in both knees and after wearing them for three or maybe I’d push it to four months I’d look so trashy and my knees wear getting beat up from having to kneel on nothing but the ground. I’d go and purchase the same pants again because “they were a good deal”. I did that for a couple years. I then purchased my first pair of Carhart pants along with a couple of the others. . I thought at the time that these were just like what I was used to but for a lot more money. Then I noticed after wearing them for over three months I still didn’t have any holes anywhere on the pants But the other’s I’d bought at the same time were trashed like usual. That’s when I became a Carhart customer for life. I love their clothing. It’s what I wear almost exclusively. The cost of “a good deal” is so much more expensive than buying what will last and hold up to every working mans needs.

Very sloppy baggy look. The lengths are way to long, on T-shirt’s , pants just to big and baggy. My 34 length looks and fits like a 36, just not a clean fit. I feel like I wasted $200 dollars.

The only thing stopping me from rating a full five stars is how tight the side pockets are. It’s not a bad thing on one hand because things don’t fall out as easy, but I have a hard time getting my hands in there to get things back out.
Fit great, feel great, super soft and become more and more comfortable with age. Have become totally dependent on the right side phone pocket, ideally located and has not yet fallen out of pocket .

I’ve had many of these over the years and they are what work clothes should be. They’re durable, comfortable in a wide range of temperatures, easy to keep looking nice, and last long enough to be well worth their price. The pockets are strong and functional, but perfect would be the same exact pants minus the hammer loop.

Not to big wearing bibs, so these jeans are just as durable and comfortable and have the same side pockets as bibs.

waist fits to size but i dislike how baggy the legs are. i could probably fit both my legs in one pant leg. fabric is strong though did walk past sharp piece of tin and did get hooked on it. thought for sure i ripped my brand new pants but they were not ripped at all.
