I've tried a lot of fleece beanies like this one, but I always come back to this as my all time favorite.
Love this hat. We have brutal winters in the Chicago area, and we walk our dogs out on the prairie paths multiple times a day. It will get great use and surely will provide warmth and protection from the cold winds and snow.
Liked the fist one so much bought two more (one for emergency winter pack in the truck and one for my wife. Doesn't get torqued out with wearing or washing. Has maintained like new after many washings.
Very comfortable
Simple, no frills and is extremely warm. Fits under hard hat perfectly. Also looks good enough to wear in town. Doesn't shrink in the wash/dryer, doesn't fade.
Finally a fleece hat that covers the ears! Very warm. Wore it hiking in 30 degree weather and had to take it off because I was sweating which is not a bad thing.
My absolute favorite hat!
Awesome lids. I wear them mostly working in the garage during cooler evenings. Keeps me warm and it makes the face shields and welding helmets more comfortable. Haven’t tried them in cold weather yet but have no doubt they will perform like everything Carhartt.

It's super warm, I'm outside all day and the this hat is enough to stop the cold from reaching my ears. It's soft and I often forget I'm even wearing it. Carhartt is still a great brand!!

Great hat stood up to the challenge of subzero temps and a water main break , runs a little big for me 7 1/4 hat size for me but works fine underneath hard hat and keeps your ears covered
This hat is true to color and is very warm. This is my second time ordering this style. I recommend it for sure.
The Carhartt hat I bought a few years ago, which is the same style and appearance as this one, is nicer. My older hat has thicker and softer material and is a little larger, making it a better and more comfortable fit over the ears. I thought I would be getting the same hat by ordering this one, but it is obvious the quality is not quite as good as my older hat. Still, this is a nice hat, but will not be my first choice when I reach into the closet on a cold day.
Looks great. I'm sure the person receiving this will be very happy with the hat.

Nice material but the hat is a loose fit and a little big especially under a hard hat. The Bennie tends to slide down over my eyes and doesn’t fit snug enough for my liking. I doubt I’d buy it again.
My husband has one but not thick and warm so found this one and got two he loves them

Appreciate the warmth and fit of this hat! Don't care for the fact that it needs to be hand washed, or that this was the only color available when I bought it... But more positives than negatives, for sure! Carhart makes good stuff!

The fleece hat ordered was everything I hoped for with the exception it doesn’t fit me very well.<br /><br />It’s a one size fits all but it’s too large for me. To provide the proper warmth it needs to be tighter. I tried washing and drying it with hopes it would shrink but no luck. High quality, well made.<br /><br />If it fit tight it would be perfect. The color is perfect, price point was great, and the service was outstanding. If it fits, I highly recommend it.

I love Carhartt products but when I want a ‘beanie’ I expect a snug, low profile cap. This thing is huge. 2 inches of extra material on top and loose fitting. It is warm and durable. I do have a small head (size 7 hat). So, if you have a bigger head, it may work for you, or if you don’t care about a little extra material on top.
Great hat! It’s my second one. I keep them in different coats.

I highly recommend the Carhartt fleece hats. I shave my head and the material that these hats are made of is very comfortable. They aren't big and bulky yet they keep your head and ears warm.

Snug without being tight (my hat size is 7 1/4), warm comfortable material. Better without a hood over it, could be a bit bigger to come down further on the head but very pleased overall.

Had one for years. Just bought two more. Deep beanie that covers my whole head. I work out on deck on the water from north to south. No frills, just a good hat that doesn't make me feel like I'm in a boy band or climbing Everest.
I work in a shop that takes a couple of hours to heat up in the mornings. I love this hat keeps my bald head warm and comfy all day. What I like is you can pull it up over your ears and still keeps you head warm...
This cap is too long to be a skull cap and to short to be a stocking cap

The shape is a bit weird on a bald man with a fairly big round head, it is a bit long, but the worst part is the seams are thick and the heavy seams leave big indentions on your skin.

got for backpacking. I have a large head and it is snug but fits comfortably. Worn a couple times and seems to be perfect for my need. something to have in the pack in case the temp drops and you need head insulation. very light and being fleece, good feel. small enough that it can act as an insulating hat with a standard ski cap over it. We had -27 a couple days this winter, and one cap wasn't enough. next winter will be prepared.
I recently lost the one I had for about 15 years so I ordered one just like it (or so I hoped). The material isn’t near as thick as the old one was.

Love the fleece hat! Had one for several years and lost it, so got another one. Fits well, warm, and blocks the wind very well. Best thing is the comfort (knitted hats are too scratchy/itchy).

Nice, warm, and not too thick to make you sweat. I find there is little extra room (I would consider myself having a medium sized head) but the extra space does not cause the hat to feel uncomfortable or look ridiculous. It will definitely keep me warmer than some of the other thinner style hats out there.
Because I backpack during hunting season, I wanted a Blaze Orange hat. This one is polyester fleece, which I much prefer to acrylic.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift. It fits him well and snug and goes over the ears, so he loves it! He works on the flight line, so hes constantly outside during harsh cold weather. It keeps him warm.

I have been looking for fleece wear hats for a while. I have a brown and navy blue one. Much better than knit as they tend to get caught and rip or to at.
Decent beanie. It's light and fairly warm. Not warm enough for extreme lows or wind. In those instances I use my wetzel hat. I do wish it was a little smaller with some stretch. I have a smaller head and if it was smaller but had some stretch, it could fit me or stretch to a larger head.
great for the cold days and fits great under a hard hat or just wearing out in town. holds up great to machine washing but i do always let it air dry or dry on low heat.

I had to order from the website because no stores in my area carry the fleece hats anymore. I do not know why. I have been wearing these for years at the flower farm and when I do logging. On cold rainy days you can simply wring them out and put them back on. For hiking they are perfect because they are lightweight. This hat fits well, but might be tight for someone with an overly large melon. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat, and this hat would accomadate larger. Very warm, covers the ears, much better than what I've always worn before.
just got this hat, so I cannot rate its durability, but the the comfort and fit are great. it feels snug on my head without being too tight, and has served me very well during the recent cold spell!
