The Irish Setter 8-inch Wingshooter Safety Toe PR Boots feature:
Bought these boots and there was no break in period needed. Super comfortable right out of the box. I work 12 hours a day as an Electrician and within 3 months the stitching on the top of the toe wore thin and eventually came apart. So much for being water proof... They literally only lasted 6 months before the stitching total pulled apart and they started taking in water. Wish they weren’t so expensive and I would consider buy another pair. I probably won’t be buying another pair cause they didn’t last a third as long as I thought they would. Wish they had more CSA approved Boots(workplace requirement)
Wondering when these will be back in stock I cant find them anywhere and these are absolutely my favorite boots to wear
After six months of wearing the boots, the sole has already worn down and needs replacement. Top Eyelet has popped off. Stitching on Goodyear welt construction is coming loose. Not worth the money
My new Wingshooter ST boots are very comfortable. This is the most important thing about a good pair of work boots. As long as I can keep them in good shape for at least a few years, I believe they may prove the best work boots I have yet owned.
Bought them comfortable wear them 8-16 hours a day. They break in very fast. But in heavy downpour rains on the ship I had Cold water in my boots all night up to my ankles I should have returned them. I went with another manufacturer instead. If your Longshore don’t wear them in heavy rain. If it’s dry it’s a great boot
I bought this style of boot 3 months ago and they're already falling apart. I work general construction doing everything from dirt work, concrete and underground pipe to steel building's and welding. There's a lot of time on my feet and so far the comfort is great but the overall quality isn't so much. The stitching on top of my right toe is coming undone. The soles are wearing down quickly and the boots are now absorbing water leaving my feet wet by the end of a 12 hour day. I love Redwing Boots. I've been a fan for over 20 years. However this particular style doesn't hold up to its description at all and am very disappointed.
I’ve had the 8” wing shooter for almost a year now and by far the best boot I’ve ever bought. Comfort is amazing. Very durable. And they keep my feet dry no problems
