I was looking for a durable
I have been looking for a leather boot for three years and ordered many brands without ever being fully satisfied with the quality, the lace config, the quality of the leather and more. These are the perfect book and I expect will lasts for years to come!

This was my 4th pair in 6 years. I typically order the Black Walnut - Black Sole, Howe they were unavailable. I went with the Crazy Horse instead, the right boot had some issues, it applied pressure to the top of my foot that was unbearable. The left boots’ eyelets were in evenly installed which caused problems with my left foot.
I returned the boots.
I love these boots. They’re very comfortable and durable. The only issue I’ve had is the eyelets for the strings weren’t fully pressed so it was catching my socks, but I fixed that with some needle nose pliers.
First pair of thorogood boots for me and I love them. Wear them everyday for work. Broke in fast and show no signs of wear yet! Already planning on buying another color way.

I love these boots and will buy another pair. I have the soles worn down to the minimum.. 7 months, I wish the sole could last longer but I am tough on my boots and between pavement, dust, rock, gravel and everything else on job sites...they have been durable! They are narrow in the toe box... So be sure to try them on or go for the EE size! Mine are perfect!

I had my last pair of boots(danners) for 2 years biggest issue with them is the lace hooks started to come out after 2-3 months.(ended up fixing myself) Its been about that long and had no issues with the Thorogood
I love Thorogood boots. I have 4 pair. I’ve had no break-in period with either my safety toe or normal moc toe boots.
They fit like I’ve been wearing them for years.

There is a break in period, However after this they are super comfy. I have had many many pairs of boots. I will tell you these are the best quality most comfortable rugged boots i have ever had. I will only buy Thorogood again.

I could t get the right size to fit my feet. I tried boots from size 5M to 5.5M to 6M to 6.5W and nothing worked. I’m stuck with this boots

Overall quality good but shortly after buying sliced my finger on one of the hooks inside the boot looked at closer and saw all the hooks (eyes ok) were pulling out or were not initially seated. Boot store pounded them flat but don’t know how long will last. Sent email with pics to Thorogood customer service but never heard back.

Let me start of by saying I am a union member the whole reason why I purchased these boots it too support my brothers and sisters In a union. These boots were too big to start off with I contacted thorogood nobody ever reached back out to me. I contacted Amazon where I purchased them I didn’t hear anything back. I wish I would have received an exchange boots have not lasted 6 months and look like this. I hope thorogood can still take these boots back and get me an exchange to continue to support union work

I decided to switch to lace ups and decided to go with thorogoods after hearing from several of my IBEW brothers and how much they love them. I’m very impressed with the quality and comfort so far. I’ll be buying another pair soon to wear outside of work. I also love that they are Union made in the USA!

Very little break in required. My pinky toe on one foot took a week to acclimate. Great looking boot and comfortable. I’m a 10-14K step a day construction worker. These boots are life changing!

Width seems to be smaller than all my other footwear.Other than the width,they seem to be good..Time will tell as I am a roofer and the boots will be tested thoroughly.

Overall great boot. Thorogoods is the only boot I’ll wear. Inserts could be better. They wear out very fast and constantly have to replace them. I replace my boots every 2-3 years and I have to put multiple inserts in them.

Run a little small not nearly as comfortable as I expected went back to my old redwings after about a month. The toe area is to narrow even though I hot the widest available. I wouldn’t buy again unless they make one with wider toe. I tried them because they are union made but not happy now they just sit in my garage kind of expensive to just not use but not much choice.

I bought these boots not for work but for upland hunting. I wanted an unlined pair of leather boots to wear quail and pheasant hunting and these are comfortable mile after mile. They also support my ankles well on the uneven terrain. Finally, I have a high instep which can cause boots to be a problem to get on sometimes....these go right on easily and come off easily.

Purchased these boot in November and wore them everyday! Right foot broke in the quickest left foot another story it was brutal. Mid January finally relief, now they fit well. I typically wear between a 10.5 to 11 shoe with these boot I went with a 8.5 EE.

This is my second pair of Thorogood American made boots. Great fit, very comfortable. Work all day and my feet are not hurting at the end of the day.
I had been a red wing boot guy all my 22 years as electrician. I noticed as I hit older my feet were always hurting. I had a fellow wireman tell me about these without the heel. Let me say it has made a world of difference. I did buy width of D cause I could not find DD. Wish I could have got a wider version.
Stitching on the side blew out in a month. Big enough hole to stick 2 fingers inside

I bought these boots for a daily use walk around the house and going out. Let me just say these boots are great no break in time was needed for me,I’m comfortable all day that I use them. I loved these boots so much that I recently bought another pair of these boots but with the safety toe box and they neither disappoint. I’m in the paving industry so I’m standing for 90% of my 8-12 hour shift and these boots are just great they don’t get me tired and my feet don’t hurt. In other words I completely recommend a pair or two of these Thorogood moc toe boots.

It might be me but I haven’t bought these boots in about 6 years. I stopped buying them because the soles wore out in 3-4 months. I’m a steamfitter/welder and am on my feet all day. The soles are still crappy I thought the way there advertising the Max Wedge sole that they where new. So I spent 160$ or so on boots that last 3-4 months at best. It’s to bad otherwise there great boots.
I got these as a gift and love them. They were unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. The first day I wore them was to work and they didn’t hurt my feet. Have had them for a year and wear them way more than my red wings. Proud union worker, I’m proud to wear union made boots.

Lump of leather at seam inside one boot is irritating
Unfortunately I was not overly impressed with these boots. I usually wear Timberland pro boots, and of course they changed the design of the boot i liked and was wearing. If I’m gonna pay $175 for Timberland boots then maybe I will give Thorogoods a try for only $30-$40 more, union made in the USA, and I’m a union carpenter, figured Id be helping my fellow union workers out. Well a week of wearing them not only was my entire body in pain from my feet to my neck, the sole in the front just under the toes started to seperate, no matter how tight i tied them on my feet one was always sliding in the boot, which i only had an issue with other boots when they were older to the point I needed new boots. If you’ve got money to waste to find out if these boots are for you, then go for it. But if you work hard for yr money and don’t like throwing it away, then id suggest sticking to what works.
I had plantar fasciitis when I purchased these boots and until writing this review I completely forgot all about it. I love the leather they use, very soft. Did I mention these boots are extremely comfortable. Very happy with purchase.
Excellent boots for everyday wear. Lightweight and comfortable. Great for the workshop and also for some outdoor activities such as walking/repairing fences and maintaining trails. Very happy with these boots! Would highly recommend them!

I’m an electrician, spend 8 hours on concrete every day, I have yet to find a more comfortable boot, plenty of support. By far the most supple leather I’ve found on a boot, they felt broke in after a few days. Several months in and they are still supportive, the leather is so soft that it feels like wearing a running shoe. This will be my only boot from here on.
These are the only bits I wear from spring to the beginning of winter !! Very comfortable and wear well.

It’s a great boot, it did have a break in period wear the boot wasn’t very comfortable but once it did it was nice my only problem was I normally wear a 9D but the width on these are a little too narrow but have been getting better (my own fault for not knowing) overall great boot (worn 5 months)

I build custom furniture and wore old tennis shoes. I bought these Thorogood 6” boots and I’m never going back and the ‘break-in’ period was non existent. It was like these were made just for my feet!
