Boots are comfortable but needed a little break-in. I had to wear them for short periods until they conformed to my foot. Dye from the tanning process severely discolored white socks.
Good boots. Fit well. Not too wide like most medium width boots.

Boots are great. They do take longer to break in than other boots since they are made with better material but to me it’s worth it. They are very comfortable too I stand on concrete all day long and my feet haven’t hurt yet after work.
Well just bought another pair of these and just like before excellent. Put them on and felt like I had them for a while. Break in was about a half day. Great Boot Thorogood please keep them made in the USA
Good American made boots
I absolutely love them, I work in a pipe fabrication shop, I’m on concrete 8 to 10 hours a day and these boots get it done. Once I broke them in it’s like wearing cotton lined slippers ole son!! Very good craftsmanship, will definitely never put another boot on my feet but Thorogoods!!

I will never buy another brand of work boots. I had an issue with stitching on the last pair and they replaced the boots and were very polite and helpful. The good construction and great customer service have earned a customer for life.
I spent a lot of money for these boots, and I work on my feet 10-12 hrs a day in the lumber industry. Don’t buy these boots you won’t be happy and neither will your feet!

Very nice boots but run a little small.
Great boot, solid quality weather and a durable, comfortable sole.
They are too tight on my instep (top of foot) with the supplied cushioned in sole. I have to take the in sole out and wear the boots that way, but they still feel fine without the the insole.

I am very hard on my work boots. Working in Oil Refineries. ThoroGood have proven to be great boots! I get Three times the life out of these boots than the previous company’s boots I’ve tried. All of which are pretty much made in China anymore. I’ll be a loyal customer as long as Thorogood keeps manufacturing these boots in the USA! Last but certainly not least is the comfort, awesome in that department too!

One of the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned
Im only able to wear these boots about 5-6 hours through my 12 hour shift.. The first time I wore them they gave me a blister on my heel now they make my toes go numb, they are tight on the tops of my feet. When I bought them the guy that sold them to me said they would stretch a bit and form better to me feet however I have wore them about 100 hours and no better. Kind of a bummer after spending 200$ .
So the first pair I bought were tough to break in but that’s all good no problem. The second pair I’m having a tome to get these done. I believe the Q/C on these pair was missed. It’s super tight on the top of my right foot. But extremely comfortable! I’ll continue to buy them.
Work 12 hrs. a day and they keep up. Comfortable for all day use.

Hurt my feet. Insoles that came with the boot didn’t go all the way to the toe. Had to buy new insoles, now they are just ok to wear. Still not comfortable though
Don’t break in. The stitching in rear heel folded in a way that blisters up my feet so terrible can barely even put in a 10 hr shift at work. Will definitely not buy another pair.

Comfortable, well built. Wear them almost every day for most of the day.
On my second pair of these in less then a year. The same issue has occured; less then a month on a Union job, the heel has blown out. The stitching is sub par at best and tears relatively easy. At $220 I expect my boots to last. I love the fact Thorogood is Union made, but now I am looking at going to Union made Red Wings, Union made Danners, Union made Double H, or even just American made Justins or Abilene. It
I’ve worn Red Wing boots in the oilfield for the past 12 years and will not wear anything but these from now on

Behind the heel the stitching placement rips up my skin even with double socks. The pull up area is way to wide. Had to buy a new insert to actually find the boot comfortable. Will most definitely look for a new brand.

I owned this boot for 4 hitches (28 day)before being unable to wear. The first week I had the pull loops broke on both boots. The thing that caused me to stop wearing them was the back of the boot fell apart on one of them. I can say that they are comfortable but if you’re going to actually work in them buy another style/brand. It was impossible for me to bring the boots back after my first hitch due to having to bring them back to the other side of the world filthy in my bag. I did tell the lady where I bought them from about the loops breaking so soon after I bought them. She stated to me that they were not for pulling the boot on. I laughed at her and then asked her what the name of the loops were, as if I didn’t know. She stated pull loops and I then laughed and said so you’re telling me that I am not supposed to use them for pulling my boots on? She didn’t know what to say then so I just left. This was my first pair of Thorogood boots and had high hopes. I regret to say that I will likely never buy another pair from this brand after a sales rep treated me that way. I know that she didn’t work for Thorogood but was a dealer and it’s just not right.

I just picked up a pair last week and they are Awesome. Takes about a day to get used to the Moc Toe and not seeing laces cause they are pull on but once you get past that they are very comfortable.
Pick up a pair today you will not be sorry but they are hard to find right now. Great job Thorogood.
I wish they were composite toe instead of steel toe, but I still love them.

Most comfortable boots every way better then Red Wing Boots
In the past 6 years I have only purchased 2 pair of boots. Both have been thorogoods. I just recently purchased the 2nd pair. They require zero break in period., are as comfortable as my sneakers, and look good to boot. I would not recommend any other brand. Thorogood USA are top notch in my book.
Took a minute to break in but I love em. I also love they are made in the USA. They cost a little more but no more Chinese crap for me!

Second pair of these slipons they are very comfortable and lightweight. I have tried several different usa made boots over the last 25 years and these best suit my needs . I would recommend them to people who work construction and fabrication.
Best boots Ive ever worn. About a week breaking them in and they were good to go. Walking on concrete, white rock, gravel, hot and cold pipe, oil covered skids, mud and everything else you find in the oilfield. Definitely recommend.
