So, I wore Red Wing ropers for years and, unfortunately, they killed my feet and actually radiated pain into my knees.
I researched and found these logger boots. Was hesitant to purchase them new due to the cost, and was actually able to find a used pair of these Thorogood logger boots on eBay. I snatched them up and now actually look forward to putting them on each day. Incredible comfort, foot/ankle support and quality of materials. Will definitely continue to use/enjoy/purchase these loggers.

First time every buying this brand. Was a little on edge about the price. Will never think twice when it’s time for the second pair. Had no break in period fit like old worn out boots that’s how comfortable they were.
I like the boots, however, after only 4 - 5 uses one of the shoestring D-rings has came completely out of the boot. In order to wear the boot, I have to skip one set of D rings when lacing due to the D ring that came out of the boot. I had registered the boots when I purchased them, so I contacted Thorogood. They advised that they could not help me, that I would have to work with the boot store for resolution on repair or replacement. I contacted the shoe store, showed the receipt and they took pictures of the missing D ring. They advised that they would contact Thorogood. One month later, the shoe store still has no resolution with Thorogood for either repair or replacement. Aggravated that I have an issue with new $300 boots and even more aggravating that a month later there is no resolution of the issue from either the boot store or Thorogood.

As soon as I slipped them on I knew I had my new favorite pair of boots. Have not had them very long but first impression is wow. Fit was spot on

Best boots ever. I live in these boots. One year in and nothing is coming apart. This is my first pair of Thorogood loggers. Other boots I have owned have only lasted a year before they start coming apart. Impressed so far. Thank you.
Boots felt great all day, every day. My only complaint is that the leather on the heel separated from the sole after a year and half of use every day.

This is my second pair of these boots. I gave them a shot, coming from a life long red wing wearer, I will never go back. These last me 2-2.5 years. I work in telecommunications and climb poles a few times a week regularly. These are comfortable to climb, work, flag whatever it may be. Killer boots

These boots seemed like a good product but when I wore them 3 times the composite toe put blisters on my toes and feels like they are coming through the fabric . I have always wore these style boots my whole life and this is the only pair that’s ever done this to my feet

My brother and I both bought these same boots about 4 months ago and they are not comfy to work a 10-12 hour day in and the soles are splitting and coming apart already

Very comfortable, well made boot, Im a die hard Red Wing guy but just figured out that at some point my 4420s are now made in Vietnam and I buy as little over seas items as possible. Just picked up a second Pair of these boots so Im sure to have a spare. The only complaint is the short laces, I had to replace both pairs before I could wear them by the time I got to the top of the boot I only had 3 inches left to tie them with. These boots need an 84 to 86 inch lace.
Good well made boots.I used neats foot oil on the toung and inside padding at top of boot,I also waxed the strings.Put them on and go.

Nice looking rugged boot. My only problem is with the left boot. The steel toe rubs my toes. Hope it will improve with wear.
Awesome boots and the leather and material are top notch. Nothing beats Made in America and Union made.

Nice boots comfortable to wear long hours
Most uncomfortable boot I have owned. Long lasting ,yes , wearable 10 hours a day, no way.
I wore them around a few days and loved them. Im retired but get called in storms to work, Im pretty sure that Im going to love them.
I am a truck driver and these boots are even comfortable enough to climb in and out of a freightliner all day and change a 10 speed. They are heavy ,but very durable and so far I haven
I would have to say that the first 2 weeks of wearing were the hardest, the steel toe needed to be broke in on the left boot more than the right. After that they are extremely comfortable. I did replace the laces right in the beginning and put longer ones on, the ones from the factory seemed a bit short, or I have thicker than normal legs...LOL Definitely recommend these for anyone needing steel toes.

I have been a plumber for almost 40 years. Of those 40 I have been wearing Thorogood loggers for the past 25 years. These boots are the best, they are comfortable and hold up to all types of conditions. They are a prime example of œ you get what you pay for�. The boots are made for work , such craftsmanship! Best pair of boots I have ever purchased!! I picked up the Thorogood insoles when I bought the boots. The two together make a match made in heaven. I am on my feet 10 hours a day and feel less fatigue wearing these boots than any other I have owned in 35 years!! I will never buy another brand of work boot! Great boots! You get what you pay for. For me they fit true to size. They are very rugged and seem to be constructed out of top quality materials. I walked through snow, small streams, and puddles and no water at all seeped through the leather.
