Haven’t had a pair of boots in about 10 years but these are great. Breaking them in only took me about a week of wearing them half of the day. Definitely think they are built to last.
Perfect exactly what I was looking for can
Great boot, for the two months I’ve had them! No complaints
I see these have an EH rating. To confirm it’s 18,000 volts? Should have a better description about eh rating it’s pretty important
Still breaking in but very comfortable right from the box
Break in was good about 2-3 weeks holding up very well so far
Nice fit ,comfortable on the feet, laces could be better.
Break in time is pretty rough but they are holding up amazing
Still breaking them in....only wear them for 1-2 days a week.....great so far. Always been a Chippewa buyer...but couldn
Comfortable
Extremely happy with these boots they are everything I expected and more. I wore Chippewa for years these are ten times better. Broke in faster and far more comfortable and seem to be holding up much better. Pricey but well worth the money for good American made boots.
The boots fit good, only issues I
Soles wearing way to fast for the money and very uncomfortable
Great
If you are an American made Chippewa logger boot fan then you will be completely satisfied with theses boots .My pair needed 2 hours to break in. I used mink oil to darken them up, They where a little too light in color for me. Other than that complete satisfaction.
I don
I have had these boots for only a month now and the front the my left boot has a hole in it. I am I tow truck driver and I’m always on the ground and in the weather. I bought these boots because I seen very good reviews for them but unfortunately I am not happy with them. Wish there was a way I could get a new pair because of the hole these are no longer waterproof and are very uncomfortable when the get wet so quick
Very sturdy boot great for working on uneven hillsides
I love this boots and I will buy them aguien
Straight out of the box the fit is incredibly comfortable, the shortest break in time of any boots I
Excellent pair of work boots. Comfortable right out of the box. Hold up very well and feet feel good evan after a 10 hour plus work day. A little pricey but worth it for American made and Union made work boots. Keep America working one step at a time.
So far so good.
By for the most well constructed boot I have ever bought, took a couple weeks to get broken in but are now so comfortable I wear them when I
I got these boots to replace my chippewa loggers that they dont make anymore. Seem like great boots but they kill my feet compared to the chippewa’s I have worn for the last 10 years
Work really nice fit good after break in and are completely waterproof and the tread pattern is crazy grippy
Honestly the best boots I’ve ever had, I’m on my feet all day long and walk a lot at work and it has taken a bunch of pressure off my back
I got these in crazy horse. These have some seriously thick leather. I can tell these are gonna last at least 3-4 years in tough conditions. All I can say is they’re heavy duty, fit true to size, and they will last forever. I’m happy to see Thorogood decided to start making loggers. They are worth the money I promise.
I work in a busy auto shop and A ram 2500 decided to use my foot to grow 3 inches taller, and the result was a nice little foot massage, and a barely flattened steel toe, beast of a boot
p.s. I didn’t but these off the website I got them at a local shop but that was so impressive I had to write a review
I had bought these boots because I can only ever get 6 months out of a pair of red wing or Carolina boots working in the construction field. I heard about these boots, and being in a slightly higher price point I had assumed the quality would come with it. I was wrong for thinking that. After 2 months the back of the boot had torn up and the sole started coming completely off. Contacted thorogood with no resolution or help. 300 dollars gone to waste. I will never buy a boot from thorogood again and will definitely not recommend them to anyone.
Heels came off boots, bought them from midwest boots they don’t want to do anything for me so no more thorogood boots for me
The toe cap feels loose and bothers my feet very disappointed after less then 4 months….
Boots are coming off the heel
Very comfortable. Highly recommend
I got to say great job thorogood and the people that made my boots had lots of loggers that hurt my feet these are not in that book best boots I’ve ever gotten hope to see what they can do for me in my welding field for years to come
Awesome boots!!! Made the switch from Chippewa to these and will never buy Chippewa again.
I messaged the thorogood customer service department for a RMA because all of the stitching came out of one of my boot heels. I never received any response.
Back hill sole is lifting up after not even 3 months probably
i’ve worn chip super loggers all my life. went to get another pair and was told the american factory shut down because of covid or some story like that. was shown these boots and i haven’t looked back. best break in time and seriously the most comfortable and rugged loggers i’ve ever owned. got a pair of slip on steel toes i ordered to go pick up later this week. awesome company and awesome product.
I got my first pair of thorogoods cause I heard a lot of good things about them, I love the boots but I feel like my right boot is defected. The right boot heel is more pronounced then the left boot cause my right heel to slip inside the boot the only way to stop my heel from slipping is to tie the boot super tight leading to ankle and foot pain. Kinda disappointed I would return them but don’t want to travel 2 hours one way to the retailer I got them from
Does take a couple weeks to get broke in
Fit comfortably right out of the box. Would definitely recommend buying these boots and plan on buying all my boots from thorogood in the future. Well worth the money.
Perfect fit right out of the box.
This was my first pair of thorogood boots and you have gained a customer for life. I have always wore Chippewas for work and loved them but my last pair fell apart almost immediately strange thing was it was the first pair not made in the USA. I searched to find a new pair made in the USA and stumbled upon yall. Best choice I
I have been wearing logger boots for almost 30 years and this was my first pair of Thorogoods (mainly wore Carolinas and Wolverines) and have to say they are the best I
Got them broke in and they they feel
Great
Nice logger boot. Big enough steel toe box. Nice and sturdy steel shank. Comfortable out of the box. Good for diesel work and sawmill work. Better than chippewas
Very comfortable
I have worn loggers for many years. This is my first pair of thorogood boots and I love them. These boots are very comfortable with no break in.
So far these boots are great. It only took about a week and they are broken in and comfortable. The only negative was the laces provided with the boots are too short to tie them properly.
Not happy with them at all!!! The composite/steel toe has rubbed the top of my toes raw so I wasted 200 $ cause I wont be wearing them anymore and their brand new!!
Very comfortable boots. Virtually no break in period. These boots are definitely warmer than my uninsulated Thorogoods. Nice to have a quality, American made option.
Another great pair of boots from THOROGOOD. This will be my third pair all of which are a different style but the fit and quality are second to none!!! Bought these loggers for linework, havent climbed in them yet but have worn them on a 16hr shift and my feet felt good an dry.
Very nice boots, very comfortable. The only negative that I have is the length of the laces they provide with them. They should be long enough to tie a decent loop in after lacing! I lace them up and only have about two inches left on both sides, which makes for a very small tie and knot.
Awesome boots!!! I think they fit true to size mine are size 11D I have to say break in time is very minimal 2-3 days. I was surprised because of the high quality of the leather and the high quality materials used to construct this boot. They are very comfortable. I Highly recommend these boots... The best part is that they are made right here in the USA by American workers... Thank you Thorogood for making such great boots and keeping them made here in the USA...
Haven’t had a pair of boots in about 10 years but these are great. Breaking them in only took me about a week of wearing them half of the day. Definitely think they are built to last.
