The material is not soft at all and parts of the fleece even seem burnt or crispy. A round through the washer and air dried did not fix it but the tag has been taken off so I can’t return it. As a big fan of the brand this is not the quality I expected from Carhartt.
I ordered this as a gift and ordered the burnt sienna color hoping for a dark brown based off the image, what I got was closer to a rusty orange color. The look of the fleece is nice overall and it’s very soft, but it didn’t feel as durable as i was hoping for.

Little disappointed after receiving. Very fuzzy texture. Sleeve is already unraveling after 1 wash. Not the quality I am used to from Carhartt.

Definitely comfortable and fits well. There’s enough room to add layers if needed, but doesn’t look baggy at all if worn alone<br /><br />I ordered in black and the only “negative” thing I can say is that while in the pictures the pocket outline is black someone asked in the questions if the outline was brown and they said yes, which I was hoping for. <br /><br />Either way would still recommend and it’s definitely comfortable

Nice look and comfortable. Very warm for it's weight. It is a little bulky if it is going to be worn under a lightweight jacket, but great for a layer under a heavy coat or if worn by itself.

I like the drawstring and the front pouch. The shirt can be worn over a short sleeve shirt easily and is warm. It seems to fit good and washed well. Now we will test the long haul.

Not super-impressed. Had to order 2x for room to layer (1 size up), very rough texture on outside that everything sticks to, elastic in cuff is weak, plastic snaps at neck break when you unbutton the first time. It’s warm though! Beef it up and smooth it out! Then you’ll have a 5 star rating. Especially considering the price…. Expensive lesson learned….. by a tradesman that has worn your products for 40 years.

I love my new carhartt fleece. It’s super comfortable and warm. I prefer the fit of this over my Patagonia Synchilla which is super similar to this item. In comparison to the synchilla, the sleeves and waist are not as tight which makes it much more comfortable. Also, my Synchilla is often way too warm to wear in normal conditions where this Carhartt fleece is more comfortable in normal temperatures. I also love the big kangaroo pocket in the front that has an additional Velcro front pocket that opens from the top. I hope carhartt keep this item to their lineup, it’s definitely one of their best items for casual wear. 10/10. Very stylish and comfortable.
Great pullover with generous sized pockets. It’s warm and comfortable. I have received multiple comments on how good the buffalo plaid looks!
At best it has a small function as the fleece is thin. It needs a hood. If your out in the cold this is not what you need to stay warm. Better worn under a heavy weight hoodie or a winter jacket. Over priced for a garment that wont keep you warm.

I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. It's super soft and comfortable. As always with Carhartt, its true to size, maybe even a little on the bigger side. I will say this item isn't as long as the normal Carhartt shirts and sweatshirts, but it's still a good fit.

I actually love this pice but the snaps are super fragile. First one popped off the first day I had it. The style and fit is perfect. And it’s super warm and comfortable. Be prepared to loose a snap though.

This is a Christmas present, but when I took it out of the packing I was impressed with the softness and warmth.
FIT: "Relaxed Fit" is very roomy, and at 6'-1" and 245#, with a "50 Long" Suit Size, I ordered the 3XL, for layering if needed. Good choice. A 2XL might have been fine, but I like the extra room. I carry; no imprint.<br />WARMTH: Amazingly warm for its light weight, with just a long-sleeve thermal knit Henley or a sweatshirt underneath. Good down to 20F.<br />QUALITY: What I would expect from Carhartt for the rather high price.

Feels and looks like it was purely made for style. It does look good, however I’m not sure based off the abuse I’ve put it through, that it will be able to last.

I was uncertain about the size but end up fitting as expected
I ordered a tall and if that was a tall I wouldn't order it again, too short. The sleeve cuffs are fraying after 1week of wear. I had high hopes because everything I have ever ordered from Carhartt I love and it fit perfect.
