Wore out my last pair so I’m back for another pair. That says it all
Bring back the B357....this material is thin and I can't imagine them holding up near as long....at least get rid of that nasty orange brown and bring back some sort of Tan. I will update review after 6 months of continuous wear and washing.
My husband had been wearing these shorts to work on our farm for years. They are very durable and fit well.
Very comfortable and useful for working around the shop and house.
I ordered the wrong short, but these are really nice, lighter weight work shorts. Better hammer loop and on my preferred side. More good stuff from Carharrt.

Definitely would recommend this shorts they look and fits very good.
The way these shorts are designed and made remind me why I love Carhartt. I do residential construction and every pocket is useful and usable. I love the hammer loop, ripstop, and that both front pockets have the extra material and a FLAT bottom! I keep a utility knife on one side and my phone clip on the other. Or if I need to use a tape for a little, I'll throw my utility blade in the hammer loop and use the front pocket for the tape. I have bought 2 pairs and I'm ordering 3 more now.
They look nice and appear to be well made. Mine seemed to run a little small and I would prefer a little more room in the thigh and seat from a relaxed fit cut.

Nice comfortable work or casual shorts. Like the easy access secure pockets to carry my cell phone. I have one of each color. Highly recommend and true to size.

I'm very disappointed in the cargo shorts. I use my cargo shorts year-round for construction work. I need the hammer loop which is located on the left side. The snap pockets in the front are fantastic for keeping a phone on one side and a wallet on another. Pockets for pencils and sharpies are a must. The new short design has a little tiny weenie Hammer holder on the right side and is too small for a hammer handle. The fabric seems to be a lighter quality than the old shorts design. They are great for dress shorts but not for construction.
Don’t have the same rugged texture old carhartt did. I just bought 2 pocket tees and they are junk too!!

Love these shorts.I have most colors....they are my "go to" wear....both for working around the house/yard and also dressy enough to wear out.

These fit my tall husband so well. He has had friends ask him where he got them. As a sewer, I really appreciate the fabric and attention to detail on seams, pockets, and zipper.
I have worn the older version of the ripstop work shorts that were all cotton for many years. This version seems much lighter but looks very similar. The fit is the same and I am hopeful that the durability will be similar

Highly recommend these shorts. They are more expensive than most, but you definitely get what you pay for. I do some pretty rugged work and these shorts last at least 6 to 8 times what other shorts last me

You may think this is a ridiculous statement but.... THESE "Rip-stop" shorts LITERALLY saved my life one time....<br /><br />I was doing a remodel in my home in Tahoe and tore out the bathroom. In doing such, I had to remove the original Porcelain covered Cast Iron tub. It was too large and heavy for me to move out in one piece so, I cut it in half with a grinder and moved the two pieces out to my slag pile using a dolly. EACH half of the tub weighed around 150 pounds each and, being cut with an angle grinder, had VERY Sharp jagged edges at the cut point. <br /><br />First piece moved, no problem. However, The SECOND piece... When I got it to my pile of trash, I tried to roll it off the Dolly and it was unbalanced so, it rocked forward then rolled back at me. <br /><br />The corner of the cut end hit me PERFECTLY where the Femoral Artery is. I mean, DEAD ON! (I am a Former EMT and a Retired Deputy Sheriff... I have to tell you. This was a possible bleed out situation.) <br /><br />However, the Rip-Stop Nylon and the thickness of the canvass actually protected me. I ended up with a mostly minor cut... Bled a bit but all in all it was nothing.) <br /><br />I can't imagine what would have happened if I were wearing a pair of Levi's or even any other pair of Carhart's that are NOT of this quality. <br /><br />Needless to say.... THIS is my preferred material. I have owned several since the incident and, just bought 2 more.
