The Yukon Extremes Loose Fit Insualted Biberall features:
Fantastic product. Absolutely love them. Very tear resistant and extremely warm. Great sizing and maneuverability while working in them.
Front pockets suck. They are like lady fake pockets the side zips don’t go high enough. You can’t access your pants pockets. Returning immediately. Bring back the Alaska extreme line.
First time ever wearing bibs. They are warm, easy to get in and out of. So glad I got these. Since wearing them I never feel cold outside. Thank you Carhartt
They are garbage compared to the r33 bibs, very disappointing that carhartt ruined a great product,
Great quality seems very durable. Have not even got close to cold in them yet can’t wait to have them for the winter.
Love the bibs, I get a set every two years
Have not worn them yet weather is still warm , but disappointed bought a large short still long wish they were about 3” shorter. And I can’t believe they will be warmer than the R33 extreme that I’ve had for a long time.
Awesome just what I expected so far so good
Exactly what you need to work outside in Wisconsin winters!
They're great but.... what gives with the useless "ledge" hand pockets. Wouldn't even call them hand pockets because my hands can't fit in there and I have small hands. Also, be nice if they can find a way to add a snow skirt for your boots so you can walk through snow and keep it out of the pant leg.
Exceptional quality and fit. 5 stars.
Two days after delivery of my new overalls a snowstorm blew through. Most warm and comfortable outside I've ever been before this purchase. They feel substantial - hope they hold up to Carhartt reputation.
Great bibs. Durable, warm and weather resistant. My biggest complaint is that the main zipper is not a 2-way zipper so you can zip up from the bottom to make going to the bathroom easier for a guy without needing to unzip your jacket.
Definitely heavy duty and warm. It is a great buy!
Fits great and is very warm
Very durable material. Keeps wind, snow, and water off of you! Would definitely recommend.
Used these for an expedition in Alaska. They were durable and well insulated. Temperatures were between -20°F and 15°F. Exterior pockets are super handy.
Awesome bibs would buy again. Just wish they were thinner but same warmth.
Wonderful fit, warm when snowmobiling and ice fishing, in below zero wind chills. Great product!
Wonderful fit, warm when snowmobiling and ice fishing, in below zero wind chills. Great product!
No good for a big guy. No give anywhere, but they are very warm.
Highly recommended and Super Warm!!!
Love this biberall to quality and rugged for my purposes.
Very warm fit well 6ft 225lb.
Super warm and comfortable. However sizing is a little weird. I took a small “short” I’m 5’8” 170 pounds and it fits just right. So I’m guessing regular is for those who are 6’ and tall 6’5” ?
The best freaking outdoor jacket and bib . Was in Iowa and 5 degrees had to fuel my rig didn’t feel a thing best purchase I have ever made !!!!!
So lightweight and comfortable. Not bulky, stays dry in wet conditions
I’m 6’0, 190# and Large/Short are perfect. Keeps me warm in any weather.
Not impressed. I was trying to replace a pair of extreme bibs I had purchased years ago. These were not only far less durable but there was not a second zipper to be able to access your pockets. I returned them two days after they had arrived.
The best biberall in the world!!!
Very warm and breathable
Perfect for all weather ice fishing!
Materials are great, warmth is pretty good. I use these to snow blow in Buffalo. Still need to layer up if spending some time outside. The biggest issue is size. I need a small in length but large in chest and waist. I went medium and the chest and waist are extremely tight. I wish there was some elastic or way to provide some additional space in that area. As of now I don’t zip The bibs all the way up to keep them from being too tight.
Very comfortable and light, forget I have them on sometimes.
Like normal when it comes to Carhartt the fit is terrible.
Great investment!
What a great product for working out side, only thing missing is the opening to get something out of the pockets of your regular makes it hard to get to them. love everything else about them. very warm
Excellent quality and durable
very warm even in extreme cold! They do run long. I ordered short and they were still a little long and i'm 5'10
The best for winter time / cold weather perfect durable and comfortable ????if you live in a cold area would recommend and will never go with out I got 2 pairs ?? % worth every dime
Great bibs, they fit well and you're still able to move easily in them while staying warm and dry. Fabric seems very sturdy. Would recommend.
Alittle delayed on shipping but stayed in contact. Thank you.
Great product. Very warm.
Hello, the Bib overalls are great. Warm! I just wish I could get a 3X black extreme jacket. Regards SB
Great quality and fit. Kept him warm for hours while skiing in 20 degree weather.
Great bibs for ice fishing, snow mobile riding, and all the other winter outdoor adventures.
Cheaply made, nothing like the extreme overalls of recent years. These are half the thickness of the ones they replaced. They are warm but not very durable. I’ve worn them for two weeks now and there is wear in places already. The Yukon Extremes of years past could be damaged only when cut with a sharp blade or burned from my 10 years of experience with them. The design is not very practical for working, maybe for fishing. The hip pockets are tiny, like dickys pants pockets, they added large cargo style thigh pockets that are a little impractical and tough to access. In day two of wearing them the left thigh pocket tore off, more fell off though as it didn’t get snagged or anything, just felt it flopping, looked down and my pocket was hanging off. The button on the right leg doesn’t stay snapped when walking in deep snow which causes the zipper to start creeping up, opening access to the top of my boot. My boots have been getting more snow in them with these. My previous set lasted me 5 years and other then absorbing water like a sponge they are still superior to my new pair.
This was my first purchase from Carhartt and it DEFINITELY will not be my last. I LOVE THESE BIBS! I have used them several times in multiple types of inclement winter weather and I have not gotten the slightest chill. These can keep my lower half warm and dry enough that I have been able to ditch my coat entirely. Very happy with this item.
These were great! Sat in 26 degree weather for 2 hrs watching soccer, actually got a little warm!! Great purchase!
I love everything but the bibs. You got to take the top of bibs off to get to you pants pocket. I wore the Yukon extremes to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to ride snowmobile and they kept me nice and toasty!!
LOVE THEM.... MAKE SOME FOR WOMEN BECAUSE UP HERE IN ALASKA... THE WOMEN WORK OUTSIDE TOO!!!
Great, just wish they had different fasteners. I don't like plastic.
Best bibs ever! I do everything in them from fishing, snow blowing, working and even attending an NFL football game at a stadium in minus degree weather. I am always warm and comfortable in them. They are completely waterproof and comfortable enough to wear all day. Every person in cold climates should have a pair of these extremely durable bibs to wear.
Watch sizing I am 5’10” and 210 lbs and legs are long and chest is tight.
I love my biberalls. Well worth the price. I recommend these to everyone. Must have
Love them shits man! I wish I didn’t have to unzip it every time I sit down in the driver seat though. But I’ll just slide the straps off
Love my Carhartt stuff, e. g. jeans, coat, sock hats, and gloves. I have another brand (gifted to me) of bib insulated overall that is beginning to show some wear. Regrettably, the vendor no longer makes them, so I looked at these. Lost me when I read the straps are elastic.
The sizing on these is ridiculous. I bought a pair wanted to love them, but the sizing shows a short fitting someone between 5'3 and 5'7. I'm 5'7 and the short is wayyyyy too long for me. I wish I had read a review like this before I bought something. My recommendation go somewhere where you can actually try them on because the sizing is grossly inaccurate on their charts. I ended up giving them to my son as he is 6'1 and they fit him great. Tag definitely says short on them so I definitely do not recommend due to this.
I am 5’4”, I ordered the medium short, the quality of the material was excellent along with multiple pockets, stitching etc. they fit me perfect, however, the shoulder straps shortened as far as I could shorten them were still loose, unable to get a nice support from them. Disappointing, I wish they designed them with a few extra inches to be able to snug tighter.
I bought these to wear while sledding with my kids and I’m really happy with their overall quality, warmth, and durability. Had them 2 seasons now and they still look and feel brand new. Sure, I only use them for fun but I can tell these will last me for years to come. The only improvement I’d like to see is an inside collar at the ankles for keeping the snow out. I wear them with Sorel pac boots and snow still manages to get up and over my boot tops. I bought some cheap gaiters and the problem is solved. Also, I sincerely appreciate the MIL and FR discount. Thanks
First time buyer, I couldn't of asked for a better pair of Bibs for working outside in negative 14? weather, I have
Very warm and easy to get on and off. Fits great! Only thing I don’t like about it is how high the sides are. Makes it hard to get in and out inside pants pockets.
Great but in Connecticut.
But he says it’s like heavy like a snow suit.
I give it 5 stars greatly made.

He welds outside all day.
He’s gonna appreciate it .

Ty Carhartt keeping my hunny warm!
It’s a really good product and I love it we want to talk these winters on the North east can be brutal Yukon extreme one of the best products out there thank you Carhartt
The best for winter work.
Love them. I was a little unsure if I needed insulated bibs or not. Thought about it for awhile before I bought them. After getting them and using them on 10°F day with 30 mph winds on an open project site, I was so glad in my decision to get these.

My only complaint is that they are a little bit to long. I am 5'8" and got the short ones, and they are still about 2-3 to long.
Warmest overalls ever. My husband hates being cold and these fit nicely and keep him warm.
I hesitated due to price but these have been worth every penny spent!
doesn't fit. Need some stuff that fits us fat bois.
There a little tight in the chest. But honestly I’d rather have them snug then loose
They are a little tight should of got 2x but I wore them once already.love th jacket. It is a 2x
Warmest and best fitting I’ve ever owned!
Great job for cold weather
These are everything I wanted in a winter bib. Warm, light, durable, and sized great. I’m 6’0” tall and 200 lbs and the large worked great. I mainly use them for snow blowing and watching football games. Enjoyed a game during 30 degree temperatures, 15-30 mph winds, sleet, and right next to a lake during the game. At one point I had open my jacket because I was getting hot.
Absolutely amazing and I love wearing them on cold days! They fit great pretty much out of the box! Don’t regret this purchase at all!
Wish you guys would go by waist and length instead of small medium or large
Love them would recommend for anyone working in cold weather or even to just play in the snow! Very happy
I buy these every year for over 25 years and this year they are thinner than normal and also Plastic fasteners instead of metal fasteners
So not really pleased
Size chart needs to be adjusted otherwise everything is great
Very warm. Sizes pretty good to recommendations on the site.
Mad nice, I enjoy the outdoors during winter more than ever.
It is impressive great quality I’m riding my Harley Davidson in it and it’s cold where I’m out I’m feeling nothing get through let’s see how it does in the middle winter But I have no doubts
I am 5'11, 192 lbs. I ordered a size regular/large according to there size chart. I need these because I work in the oilfield and am outside in any weather every day. I havnt worn them yet because I need to return them. Order a size smaller than what u think u need according to charts. I am going to return and order a size small-large. The legs are super long, and I pulled shoulders straps as far as they would go. Had to roll the pants legs up a little bit. And I was fully clothed with jeans and a hoodie. Other than the size. I love them. And I believe in carhartt brand. I own alot of it. Just don't believe there size chart. There are many other reviews like mine.
Followed the sizing guide before a trip to the arctic where I am going to need these for work on rather short notice and my other winter gear is too old.. Sizing guide info is so far from accurate in the length. I'm 6' 1" and a tall had so much material left in the legs. Maybe going by the guide whatever it recommends pick one category down on both width and height. Even more disappointed since I paid to expedite shipping.
The best! Great service and shipping
I couldn't find a short medium locally so I had to order online. I wish I could have found them locally. it would have saved me a lot of disappointment and the hassle of doing a return. I ordered the smallest size available, short medium. I have no idea how someone views these as short. I am 5' 6" and wear a 30x30 pair of jeans. When I tried the on, unless I bunched up the legs I found myself stepping on the cuff. I had the suspenders cinched all the way and these things were still baggy. I felt like a little kid playing dress up with dad's clothes. If a short small was offered it might have worked. I ordered these primarily because of the longer zippers which I thought would make getting them on and off with boots on a lot easier. I know some people have had problems with the pockets. Personally, I liked them. If they had fit properly, I might have been willing to overlook the plastic clips for the suspenders. I have no idea why Carhartt did away with the tried and true brass fasteners that everyone is used to. I can only guess someone was cutting corners in the name of higher profits. Overall I was disgusted and disappointed with these. For $200 I expected a better overall product and one that fit properly. I like and rely on the extremes gear but not these.
I would absolutely buy these if they had gaitors! but they don't.
Haven't been able to wear them yet but feel that they will be perfect
GREAT PRODUCT GREAT SERVICE .
I ordered these for my husband who is working in Alaska! They fit him well, keep him warm in below zero temps and are holding up to the elements of his messy job.
Placed my order and then the storms hit in Texas! Mail service was delayed across the United States! When they did arrive they were to replace my 25 year old pair! They are perfect!
Had to replace my old Carhartts only because I got fat. They were over 10 years old and will definitely go another 10, 20 . Love Carhartts.
works good and fits
Bought for son, who works outdoors. He reports great in the snow and winter elements. Kept him very dry in 6 inches of snow
My husband loves them
My pockets tore, pulling on it to get in my coverall.they should of been sown more times
Very warm and easy to put on. Spend the money and you get a great pair of Bibs. Live in Fargo ND and I know the cold.
I’ve only worn them a couple of times. They fit perfectly double X short. Their comfortable and warm. If I would’ve went double X regular at least 4 inches too long.
I’m a older guy with a big tummy. I tried to order bibs to fit. Instead I was asked how tall I was to size me. And that’s how they shipped
Them out.. When I receive them and try them on I could not zip them from my waist to my chest I was too big but the pants and all was fine. I really had no choice but to keep them because I was scheduled to work outside at temperatures at -10° to -15° below Fahrenheit. Other than that they fit perfectly in the legs and they kept me warm. I only wish I could zip them up to my chest
Very nice and durable. There soft to start with so there not bulky or stiff
good stuff
I'm 6'5" 170 lbs and the medium tall fit me like a champ! It was snug with just a bit of room, and I didn't have to let the adjustable straps all the way out for the legs to cover all the way down. The rugged quality lets me know this is going to last a long long time. I couldn't be happier. worth every penny.
Love them best investment I made
Bought these for crabbing in the Pacific. Awesome
ordered these in anticipation of a colder than usual winter camping trip. it got down to -30F the first night and these kept my legs and core nice and warm.....in fact almost too warm in the legs, kept having so slow down to keep from sweating. That said there are just a couple of things that would make these perfect: one, double zippers on the legs, being able to vent the legs without unzipping the bottom section would have been very useful. second, the chest pockets could be a bit bigger. couldn't speak to their durability as they are still new and haven't enough time on them to tell, but like most Carhartt stuff, I'm sure they'll hold up.
Highly recommended. As with all Carhartt products these bibs are durable, comfortable and very well made. I stick with Carhartt for a reason.
I’ve been wearing carhartt bibs for 30 years and they keep getting better. I wear carhartt all day, everyday, all year round. Working in Indiana puts this company to the test day after day, year after year. Their is a reason we still search for carhartt to have a solution for our situation and they have to let me our my family down. Well done carhartt, you’ve covered this family in your profession for the last 50 years.
Fits correctly to size. Warm!!! Comfortable!! Love the pockets and reflective strips for night time ice fishing. Great product!
Would recommend. Worth the price. Very warm.
Very warm and light, only issue for me is the length. I ordered the short length and are about 2 inches too long. For my height the knee pad pockets are also too high up my leg. Other than that, I give them 5 stars for construction and quality. So far so good
Great warm pants kept we warm with a weekend of skidoing.
I don't like any of the pockets or the lack of ability to tuck my hands in the sides for a quick warm up an the pockets are to shallow an uninsulated..i want my R03 BACK.. That configuration works
Better than expected!!!
Perfect for my purposes. Very versatile. Shame thast it is being discontinued, as I understand it.
They changed the fabric that my husband was skeptical of but he says it was an improvement. Lighter weight
Well made-durable
I wanted style No.R33's bibs. This style is being discontinued so I could not find my right size. I tried on a larger pair, then tried on the new Yukon Extremes. I liked the light weight feel of the new line, but the new outer material concerns me. It doesn't seem as durable as the normal Carhartt duck material. I do like that the new material is waterproof. In just the short amount of time walking around inside the store to determine which style I liked , 10, 15 minutes maybe, per style, I could feel the R33's were warmer. I did buy the Yukon Extremes. I have worn them now for a week, 12 hours in a day. They are not as warm as my old style and I don't like not having easy access inside the bibs to my jeans. The durability is yet to be determined. My coworkers all say the bibs look like a ski suit. In my opinion they are not worth the increase in price.
We just had 12” of the white stuff dropped on us and it was single digits. These bibs made the clearing very bearable! Comfortable, very warm, and so easy to put on and take off. Returned a pair from a competitor before I bought these because they were uncomfortable and difficult to put on. Highly recommend these!
These Yukon Extreme biberalls are well made, fit good, are very warm, and keep you dry. Wore them several times in temps around 0 degrees Fahrenheit while it was snowing. Would definitely buy them again.
These bibs are amazing! Wear like Iron but fairly lightweight and non restricting. It has been bitter cold (20-30 below)and I am outside most of the day and I stay nice and warm.
10 degrees and windy yet I am warm. 20 degrees in my barn actually sweating and had to take off my jacket. All I had on was a tshirt with these. Waterproof which is perfect because I am always kneeling on the ground. Ymmv but I am thin and always cold outside so these are a game changer. Make sure you get the knee pads. I am 6’2”/180 pounds and had to get the medium tall. Although, if I don’t wear boots, the back of the pants drag on the ground.
Good stuff!!!!
This bibs appear to be of very nice quality. They are pricey but I think they will hold up well. Now more importantly why can't Carhartt figure out sizing??? I am 5'11" 185 lbs 42" chest w/athletic build. I utilized the Carhartt size chart to determine what size and length I should order. I purchased the medium reg. When I put them I had a lot of room with a heavy sweatshirt on. The length was way too long. I literally stood on the cuffs and just my toes stuck out. Very disappointed that a company like this can't figure out sizing. Take a look at the product description the model is 6'2" and he is wearing medium regular. According to their height chart 5'11 is the upper range of regular length. Now I have to reorder, drive to return the box, and hope the medium shorts will fit. 5'11 and I am ordering short size. Per their size chart short is for 5'3" to 5' 7". Seriously Carhartt come on!!! I had the same problems with your pants. Sizes were all over the place. Maybe you could just add measurements to the description of the product. Never had this problem when they were made in the US and Mexico.
These bins are warm!!
Run a little big. I’m 6’2” and weigh 230 and the large fits me perfect. Had to return the XL.

Worth the money!
Very well made! Thin lightweight and can really feel your body heat being stored. These will keep you warm for sure. I’m 5.6 210lbs and I ordered a large short . They are snugg hope I can break these in? I’m always in between sizes and xl short are way to long.
The Yukon Extreme Biberalls run large, and the Yukon Extreme Parka runs small, and FULL SWING INSULATED COAT is just right
Great overalls very warm in the cold New England winters. Very good quality seems very rugged and well made. Very pleased with this purchase. Use them every time I am working outdoors I the winter.
As my title suggests, I found very little wrong with these bib overalls. The sizing was spot on, they are incredibly warm. Very comfortable, they almost have the feel and appearance of pair of cushy snow pants, yet they have the durability and ripstop properties that Carhartt has become synonymous with. Just wish they had a pocket to access under layers. Not sure if having said pocket was detrimental to retaining heat or what. But it is far from convenient if you need to reach the pockets of the the pants or jeans you are wearing under the bibs. Even with that questionable design flaw, these are undoubtedly worthy of the hype, the pricetag, the yukon extreme tagline, and most importantly the Carhartt name! Highly recommend.
A little to large as far as height adjustment. But very comfortable and warm.
Love them!!
well made and is probably very effective against cold and stormy weather
unfortunately inseam much too long. I'm 5' 5" and ordered short but still too long and can't be altered due to zippered closure at bottom of legs.
they fit great and are lighter than my older bibs. I wear them for 9 hours daily, and they don't wear me out
Keeps me warm I love it the bibs comes with plenty room I would highly recommend !!
My husband loves his. He said they were so warm his Coat and Biberall.
Appears to be tuff. Worn a few times very warm.
Durable and warm for cold weather working conditions
Bibs are warm, fit as I expected. Easy to slip over boats also they are built to last a long time. They are a great option for any snowmobilers that are looking for a geat set of bibs.
Material is built to last so very different Material than your typical snowmobiling bibs. But not an issue I'd rather have bibs that last. I went snowmobiling this weekend with some buddies and one had a new pare of typical bibs for snowmobilers. His zipper ripped out of his bibs first hour of ride. Case closed. Carhartt is the way to go.
10dgree weather and I’m warm it works what else do u need to know
I'm 5'5" and find the short length in medium to be way to long. Had to the bottom up at least 4-5 inches to prevent myself from stepping on the bottom of the bibs. Would be great if they listed the actual inseam length vs arbitrary sizes. Bibs were great otherwise outside of the unusually long inseam. Will have to return to the storefront
I was hesitant at first, these bibs are EXPENSIVE. I am a snow removal contractor and it is not uncommon for me to spend 24-48 hours in a piece of equipment, truck or outside at a time. I bought these pants because the sidewalk machine I am in has no where to store things as keys, wallet, knives, tobacco, etc. They are worth every penny. Warm, water proof, breathable and durable so far. I hope they last. Just purchased the yukon extremes jacket to go with, thanks again for making a superior product.
Absolutely love these!
bibs are awesome. very light yet warm
Great bibs, however, the sizing chart needs more details, like chest and inseam. Buy larger size to fit chest. They are extremely long.
Only thing I’ve found with these bibs is if your 5’3” they’ll drag by a good inch or so. I ordered large shorts as the medium was to tight for comfort sitting in which I’ll be doing mostly ice fishing. But the length on these is almost too much for comfort I have a feeling I’ll be ruining the bottoms by walking on them quickly. Definitely have to add a hem or button to keep them up further. They’re very warm and pretty wind proof though which is nice.
My husband absolutely loves his new bibs. They're very warm. He's 5'7" and a size 32 in the waist. A medium fit him good.
Great bibs love them. Had to return the x-large 2x to big.quick turn around on getting just x-large. Fit perfect.
??! GOAT! Worth every dollar for warmth! Great investment!
Too soon to review, have not used them mild winter ??
I love it!!!keeps me warm
Husband lived them. Great choice!
A little longer than expected.
I bought these as I have finally worn out my last pair of bibs. They are definitely warm and material seems to be pretty durable. For the life of me I cannot figure out why you didn't continue with the two way zippers on the legs. My last set of bibs had them and I used them all the time. Anyone who has a cell phone(which is everyone on the planet) is not going to keep them in an outer pocket when it's really cold out due to the effects on the battery. Now access to the inner pocket, where you normally keep you phone is near impossible. There's no way during r
The best ??
Great product. Use them ice fishing. Stay warm and dry all day!
I bought these bibs for work and ice fishing. The new Yukon Extreme material is far superior to the old reliable material of the traditional Carhartt bibs. They are very water resistant. No issues with wetness kneeling down to check rods or bait. Extreme comfortable and wide range of movement. For work they have been exactly what I wanted. Great to layer under and cuts the wind. I work in the livestock industry and no doubt they will be my go to winter bibs. The only thing that took some getting used to, is there are no buttons in the rib/hip area like the traditional bibs. Does make getting thing out from your inside pants a little tricky.
Thank you for the product, arrived quickly and great customer service
I think these bibs suck, big time!! You changed it and cheapened it up!!! I sent the one that I got from Amazon back also. Just how long do you think plastic zippers are going to last!!! You can only adjust the shoulder straps a smidge, and then there is a big loop sitting on top of your shoulders after adjusting!!! Not only did it look ridiculous it could possibly be dangerous!!!! I hope making your products overseas is going to work out for you, as far as I’m concerned I’m done with Carhartt, I will not be ordering anything from you ever again, unless you get heavy duty brass zippers, and the same amount of insulation that’s in my arctic Yukon extreme coat that I got last year, even the outside material seems cheaper!!!!!! Ken Kohnke
Love them!! Super warm and comfortable.
The biberalls are of high quality and design. The fit based on the fit chart was good but would benefit from including inseam length rather than short, regular, or tall.
Great fitment. Plenty of warmth
He hasn’t worn them yet but is excited to try them out
I rely on my Yukon Extreme bibs and parka to stay warm and durable while I am working with my sled dogs. They fit nicely and have proven to be just as durable. Any gear that can withstand day after day of working with rambunctious dogs AND keep the wearer warm, dry, and comfortable is worth it!
Was a gift. Arrived early which was great!!!
I had to order 3 of these. I am 5'10" and I'm a stocky 235. Based on my chest size and height, I should be in the XXL Reg. This was big enough for me and my wife as well as about 9' too long. I ended up with the XL short. Even with my MUCK boots on, the bottom almost touches the ground. Once you find your size, these are fantastic and I am very happy with them. They run tall and large though.
Love these pants.
Overall the bibs are warm. We have been Carhartt customers for years and really appreciate some of the features that the previous bibs have. full zip on the sides so you can take them on and off multiple times during the day when you're working outside and then going inside. Hammer holder. Larger pockets. I believe if this style bib is designed for work wear it needs to be re-looked at. I do appreciate that they are not nearly as bulky as the extremes. I also appreciate the knee pads and find them very nice
I use my coverall bibs for winter motorcycle ride. Love them!
Excellent products
Great product
Very warm and keeps out the wind.
If you leave something in your pants pocket you almost have to take your bibs off to retrieve it. The zippers on the pant legs are not double zippers that zip from the top to access your interior pockets. Also the pant let pockets are small, they should be lined to warm your hands . A gloved hand doesn't fit in the pocket. These are the first bibs that you can wear without washing to soften them up. They seem s durable, but for this price there should be something to stop the cold air from going up your pant leg while sitting, something like a velar strap to tighten the bottom. We will see how they hold up in the north worlds.
Boy if you leave something in your inside pant pocket you have to almost take your bibs off to get it out. Why they didn't put double zippers on the pant legs I'll never know. Also the hand pockets are extremely small, it would be nice if these were lined or something to warm your hands. Other wise the bibs are nice we'll see how they hold up in the true out doors.
THE NEW STYLE BIBS MUST HAVE BEEN DESIGNED FROM AN OFFICE DESK OF SOMEONE THAT HAS NEVER GOT THERE HANDS DIRTY. IF YOU WANT TO GO BUILD A SNOW MAN THEY WILL BE FINE BUT IF YOU ACTUALLY ''WORK'' IN EXTREME TEMPS BUY SOMETHING ELSE. I WILL BE RETURNING MINE.
I really wanted to love these. I’m 5’7” with a 40” waist, so guided by the sizing chart ordered an XL Short. The size isn’t even close, I was swimming inside them and tripping over them. Even with the suspenders shortened all the way, the legs were still 8” too long. A walk around the block in deep snow showed me it wasn’t going to be a comfortable day at work wearing these. Back they go.
Purchased as a gift for my husband. He’s always wanted a pair and is thrilled to have these! Great quality. Worth the price!
They are awesome I recommend these you can easily wipe them off with no hassle when they get dirty.
Love these, super warm and durable!
These bib overals are very durable. Don’t wear out very easy. My oldest set is 11 years old and knees not worn thru. I do pipeline lube service work on right of way. Always on or under equip very old and new. Very tuff material. The new ones I bought three winters ago are good to but the thread in the front zipper and pockets etc wore out in two months. Zipper unklhooked. Stitching all worn off. Need better thread. I think the old set the stitching for zipper was under the flap tha covers zipper. The stitching never worn out on them but zippers are once a winter. Always worn out by spring.
For help on choosing the right size, I just received these yesterday and will have to return them for a size up. I'm 5'10" 235lbs, wear a size 36x30 in Carhartt jeans , 35-30 in ariat. I had purchased the LARGE SHORT based on the recommendation from the support staff. Unfortunately their was not much room after I had my Carhartt hoodie on under. So hope this reference will help aid in choosing sizes online, as I will have to return for the X-LARGE SHORT.
First of all, they fit great! second, there are many secure pockets! Velcro pockets in the back- Velcro pockets in the front- Zippered pockets on the top. Since I ordered these to ride by motorcycle in cold weather, anything in my pockets will be secure! There are also easy access hand pockets to keep your hands warm if needed. I also like the front heavy non-metal zipper front with Velcro flap, and zippered side legs with snap secured flaps. I can get these bibs over my clothes and boots, and still block the cold. I ordered the bibs, instead of coveralls, so I can wear my heavy leather MC jacket with them. However, these are such high quality, I may order some coveralls as well! I use ID.me at Carhart to get the military discount! BTW they have THE BEST long sleeve T-Shirts in existence.
Feels warm though haven’t tried it in extreme cold yet.
Wore these bibs one time and the plastic buckle broke. I wish they went with a metal buckle or a more sturdy setup like my older pair of bibs. Customer service has agreed to an exchange but I hope this isn't a reoccurring issue. I've been a longtime customer of carhartt and was very disappointed by this. I also ordered a short and they are still quite long.
cant find anything to complain abt Carhart products always been pleased with
Very warm! I work doing underground electrical installations in the cold and snow and it keeps me warm and dry. Highly recommend for outdoor cold work.
These are the warmest most durable bibs I've ever had
Not for all-day Arctic or subarctic conditions. The insulation is not enough to stop heat loss. For example, when skidooing you get a wet butt even in -30C.

These however are great work snow pants. I use them for cutting firewood, the insulation is quite thin so you can move around. It isn't really bulky if you wear the correct size. Also, the material is pretty strong and stands up to abuse in the bush.

If you are looking for something that's truly the warmest, take a look at Helly Hansen workwear, the insulated bibs are warm and durable.
I am 6'3" around 200lbs. I thought I would fare well with a Large TALL. It was actually too big. Large regular was plenty even though I am tall....kinda. There is plenty of room for layers as well.
Pants look awesome and should keep me warm. We will see when winter rolls around in Northern Wisconsin.
Products that were ordered from Carhartt are wonderful and Dawn made it very simply. Dawn is knowledgeable and a great employee.
Hands down the best bibs on market
Amazing!!!!
l Add to replace my 30 year old carhartts they were falling apart finally.
Best cloth I have ever bought. Keeps you warm when working outside in -20 weather
Great for work . Keeps you warm I would recommend these if you work outside . Only problem I see is there is no side pocket that always you to get to under clothes pocket .
Bought these when they first cam out. Still in great condition. I love them they are really warm perfect for working in cold weather. When I have to get a new pair I will be getting pair of these.
I weigh 224 and I'm 6' tall the regular XL fits me perfect I can wear clothing underneath and be comfortable.
Perfect purchase
Too large so i had to return for smaller size. Refund was quick tho
They are exactly what I was expecting. They fit good and are super warm
Warm and quality
Great quality product. Worth it for weather below freezing.
SUPER THIN AND LIGHT, NEW EXTREME BIBS ARE NOT FOR WORK, 6'0 200LBS LARGE FIT GOOD, PLASTIC STRAP CLIPS, PLASTIC ZIPPERS, WASNT EVEN RATED FOR THE COLDEST WAS MEDIUM, CHEAP CORDURA NOT TRADITIONAL TOUGH CARHART FABRIC.

MOST EXPENSIVE ONE. LOWEST QUALITY. THE R33 ZIP TO WAIST MUCH BETTER
This is a great biberall. Very durable and windproof!! I like it a lot well worth the investment.
I bought a XL-Tall and it was too big for my husband. I am sending them back for a standard XL
The new extreme bibs are made for playing in the snow, not work. Cheap plastic strap clips, cheap plastic zippers, cheap cordura instead of traditional tough carhart fabric. Ive bought carhart bibs for over 30 years. Huge disapointment. I cant understand why they would cheapout their flagship product and its still the most expensive one.
Warm, almost to warm.
Purchased 6 pairs for my employees was a little concerned about the new style of material but is still as durable and helps fight the rain and snow a little better
Carhartt is the best . I would recommend it to anyone ??
I love these bibs! I I am 6'2 and ordered the regular length and they are the perfect length. Really happy with the overall quality and design. The zippers are great and adjusting the straps is extremely easy. I also liked that they used the plastic clips on the straps this makes getting our of the bibs a much easier and quicker.

Have not worn them yet weather is still warm , but disappointed bought a large short still long wish they were about 3” shorter. And I can’t believe they will be warmer than the R33 extreme that I’ve had for a long time.
