I hesitated about buying another vest, but I’m so glad I bought this one. It’s my new favorite! It adds a layer of warm without being too bulky for every day or indoor wear. It has plenty of well thought out pockets, too!
Isn’t very flattering but serves it purpose
The vest itself was great quality...the armholes were way too big! I went by the size chart and it said I needed a large and wow it was huge even with a sweatshirt under it clearly it was way too big. I wore it in March in Arizona on a cattle ranch and it was just the right amount it wasn't too hot and it was easy to move in. I did get it snagged on barbed wire just wish it had been more form fitting is my only complaint. It does come down in the back and it kept competing with my jeans. Needless to say if someone expects you to work as a free ranch hand...run! The only thing I received was a thanks leave and don't come back and my vest.
The sizing on this fluctuates a little too much. I typically wear an XL in woman's Carhartt and the XL was too snug but the XXL was too large. It is well made and a nice soft fabric, not too stiff

This vest is everything you expect from Carhartt. It’s great outside in the elements and still looks fashionable. Deep pockets hold my gloves and the material holds up to all sorts of abuse! I love it!

Bought this in black and liked it so very much that I then bought it in green. Perfect layer for over my Carhartt long sleeve cotton tees. I am a teacher and love the weight of this vest. It is just the right amount of a warmth providing layer without the bulk. Love the pockets and comfortable fit. I am 5’8” and 156 pounds and the large fits perfectly. I machine wash and hang to dry. I would buy more if there were more colors and make it my personal uniform.
It is exactly what I wanted in a vest for work. Any kind of work. I can wear a sweatshirt with a hoodie underneath it and still have plenty of room to move my arms around and it washes like a dream.<br /> Its THEE BEST Christmas present ever!
This vest is very well made and can be worn with anything. I've worn it with jeans and a dress and it's perfect.

Great quality, love all the pockets, can't wait to put this vest to use! Please check the size information before ordering, and follow their advice to go down a size if you are between sizes or prefer a closer fit. Didn't quite make it to 5 stars for one appearance detail: I would prefer for the collar to be the same color as the vest. My vest is green but the collar is brown. Other than that, I am completely happy with my new vest.
I love this vest, but it runs really big. I ordered based on the size chart provided, but it was still way too big. I have returned it and ordered in a smaller size and really hope this time it fits. The functionality, fabric and many pockets are big assets. Looking forward to getting it in a size that will work for me.

Love this vest so much, I bought it in two colors. Warm, yet not bulky. It’s a nice length so that when I do physical labor, the back doesn’t ride up, exposing my back.

I am usually between a 2X and 3X depending on the cut. I ordered a 3 and it was big, I had a lot of room. I returned and ordered a 2X, and it fits perfect, I can still layer and wear a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt and still have room to button the vest. I work on a horse farm teaching riding lessons and I need something to keep me warm without making me hot. I love this for the cooler weather!
Love this vest! I'm happy I was able to find this vest in a store to be able to try it on, otherwise I would have purchased the wrong size. I'm 5'9" and 135lbs and ended up getting an XS, I thought I needed a medium and I would have been swimming in it. I purchased it mainly to wear over long sleeves while at work, but could still fit a sweatshirt under it. It's very comfortable and warm without being to heavy duty. It's easy to move in and love that it's a little longer in the back. Super flattering.
Carhartt never let's me down I'm sold on the quality
The vest does not match the picture shown on the website. The collar is a brownish black color. I also went to the store to confirm I didn’t receive an old model (as Carhartt logo is also in a different location which I don’t care about but again made me think I received an old version)… in store also has the same brownish black colored collar, which in my opinion is extremely ugly!! Wish I could get the vest that is still pictured on the website as well as all the other sites where carhartt is sold.
A simple lightweight, attractive well made vest with lots of pockets. Whats not to love? I wear XL in most Carhartt tops and outerwear so I got XL in this. It fits just right and is very comfortable but isn't as roomy as my Carhartt hoodies, flannels or the sherpa lined mock neck vest. It's perfect for Spring and Fall, cool mornings and evenings and layered underneath jackets, or over a lightweight hoodie. Wish there were more colors.
This is a great vest but it was too large especially under the arms. I sadly returned it and wished it could have been a better fir for me.
Be sure to order a size up! The vest is great!

I like this vest as an alternative to down vest, which can feel a bit like overkill in the Spring and Summer. The vest is comfortable, functional and even more attractive than I thought. Bonus.

This is my first Carhartt vest specifically designed for women, and it's clear that a lot of thought went into designing it. Below I will list what I like, and some of the features that could be improved even more.<br /><br />The material is very nice; tough and durable, but not stiff or scratchy. The fit is nice too. I ordered a small, and it fits true to size with enough room for a shirt or fleece jacket. I like the color as well (I ordered the light brown and consider getting the pink too).<br /><br />I like all the pockets; two cozy lined pockets on the outside, a zippered chest pocket, and two pockets on the inside with velcro closure. One improvement that could be made is to make the inner pockets a bit deeper so I can close the velcro over it. The chest pocket is also just a tad too small. It fits my phone, but it's a little difficult to insert/remove it. A second chest pocket that opens at the top to quickly slide in things would be great. It would also be nice to have a zippered pocket at the back to securely stow away gloves or a hat. <br /><br />There is a cinch strap at the bottom of the vest to make it tighter around the hip, which is a great feature for colder weather. I wish there was a second strap around the waist that could be tightened too to trap warmth and/or to make the vest a bit more feminine. Speaking of feminine, I love the diamond pattern at the front and back. <br /><br />And speaking of cold, this vest isn't meant for truly cold weather. It does have some thin insulation, but it is most appropriate for fall or early spring. Another nice insulation feature is that the vest is a bit longer at the back than the front. <br /><br />One feature I'm not so sure about and kind of took me by surprise is how much the snaps jingle when they are not closed. Seriously, it sounds like I'm surrounded by a bunch of little bells. :D

I love this vest - have been wearing it nonstop! It's soft enough to wear all day, warm enough to keep your core warm in 30F temps, and durable enough to not have to worry about roughing it up. Love the warm lining inside the pockets - and the extra zipper pocket. Looking forward to wearing this for a long time.

I'm going to return it, not what i needed. I was hoping it also had a zipper and the snaps, Good fit and super soft just not what i expected.<br />I think it is a good vest for outdoor work, nice and light and not bulky, heavy to break in.
Same great quality of all Carhartt products. Lots of pockets ...I love that the outside pockets are lined to help keep my hands warm! I currently layer this under my jacket for extra warmth during chores . Love it!!

Ordered the Raisin color in size Medium. Fit is great-enough room to wear over a sweatshirt if I wanted to. Typically I wear a womens size small or medium depending on what type of garment. This is a nice weight not too bulky and just the right amount of detail to feel it fits the female build. Recommend!!!
This vest is actually really warm and the material is rugged, but soft at the same time! It’s really comfortable and has enough pockets. Really excited about this vest and will definitely be using it in my garage workshop!
Perfect vest for cool not cold weather, put a sweater or sweatshirt underneath and your good to go when temps are in the mid 40’s to 50’s. Plenty of pockets so you don’t have to drag your purse around with you when you run errands. Well made. Fit is true to size.
Love this vest! It's warm and the fit is perfect. Sits below the waist. Less bunching around the neck with the rib collar. The interior packets are a bonus. <br />Some people prefer a zipper but I personally love the buttons as my longer length hair doesn't get caught unlike my zippered vest. Would love it in an olive green color!

Vest is great! Fit is perfect. Carhartt needs to seriously look at changing their delivery carrier to UPS or FedEx. Ordered on 12/14 with delivery date est of 12/21 and didn’t receive until well after Christmas. Inexcusable and giving Carhartt a bad name.

I am a big fan of vests and this one is perfect. It has great pockets and the fabric is softer and more flexible than the traditional Carhartt fabric. It runs true to size. I will probably need another one.
