10/10 I went down a size and it fits great. No loose threads. Color is exactly what was shown on the website. Lining is very nice and I like the way the collar sits both up or down. Length is perfect for me. I got the blue one and now I want the red one too!

My boyfriend is 6'1'' and 160 lbs. He is thin and wiry. Because he had an old Carhartt coat that was large and tall I bought him this vest in large and tall. It was WAY too big (Nice though!). Then I returned that and tried the medium and tall. Still way too big. I am going to cross my fingers and try the small.
I am happy to say that it is as good as so many are saying. Completely rugged, warm and looks good also. <br /><br />Be sure to read all the size instructions and comments. I wear a large in almost everything but a medium is the perfect size for this vest.

Fits great. Needed to order the Medium Tall because the LT was huge. I’m 6’4 and about 210 pounds. The 4 star is because I received the vest damaged.

Great weight and cut. Nothing outstanding to put it to a 5 star. But a solid vest. If I’m knit picking. I would have liked to seen buttons with the zipper. Do that and give it the inner pockets of the Montana vest (also awesome). And you would have nailed it.

I wear a Medium Tall which is hard to find so I was thrilled to order my Carhartt vest in my size (I'm 6'2" and 180 lb). It arrived and I could tell it was too big, then trying it on I was completely floored at how enormous this vest is. Vest fits line an XL! Your sizes make no sense. This is the second return in the past month because of sizing issues. Very disappointed!

If you normally wear Large or Large Tall consider getting yourself a Medium if it's a Loose Fit item. You will thank me later. This was a bit too big for me, but luckily I have a large group of people who are more than happy to take any discarded Carhartt items so we found it a great home!

Even though this is a medium, it feels as though I am swimming in it. I waited 6 months for the Tall Medium to be back in stock (not blaming Carhartt for this) but I'm disappointed it doesn't fit well after such a long wait.

I bought this vest for my son-in-law. He was excited to get it. It does run big. He’s a medium and the medium was way too big. Yes, it’s described as loose fit, and it definitely is. It seemed equivalent to a large. I returned the medium, ordered a small, and it fits perfectly with a sweatshirt underneath. The return process was quick and easy. I returned the vest through UPS and five days after I sent it, my refund was back in the account I used to pay. Great service!

Likes: duck fabric, sherpa lining, collar. <br /><br />Dislikes (and reason for the rating): the fit is poor. Fit is good through the shoulders, but then it keeps getting wider to the bottom. Just because I am tall, doesn’t mean I need extra room at the waste. A relaxed fit option would have been much better. You get airflow up the bottom of the vest. Even if you use it as an extra layer. <br /><br />Would like to return - not sure I’ll get my money back.

This vest is perfect to go over any Carhartt sweatshirt and is light weight. The sherpa lining keeps you nice and warm. There are also great pockets inside and out, the outside top pocket has a zipper closure.

I have been wearing a sherpa-lined carhartt vest for years now and as soon as one wears out I purchase another one. I just purchased one again in January and for some reason, the same vest, same size, doesn’t fit as snugly, which I like because I live in a windy place. The small was too small, and the medium is what I have always bought before. Is there a reason this has changed? I really liked the more snug fit on my body. (My body hasn’t changed weight wise - still the same).

Love the vest! One thing though, I think you need to add a coating on the outside of it to keep it from collecting lint- from wool sweaters. You do that and you’ll stay first in class!

As a big, heavy and well-insulated vest, it does the job of keeping me warm. It's a bit stiff, due to the material. And it does not hang as slim or loosely as in the picture online. I have the full, long-sleeve jacket version of this vest as well. I like the deep, front pockets, which will easily hold car keys without the fear of them falling out (those lower, front pockets do not have zippers on them)

Super comfy and fits great. Only complaint is that I normally wear a large shirt/jacket/vest and had to exchange to a medium which still is a little roomy. Plenty of room for a hoody or other jacket under the vest.

These vests used to be my absolute favorite. They were heavy duty, warm, and fit great. Now Carhartt moved production of these across the ocean to India and completely ruined the quality and increased the price. You'll notice the "Country of Origin" just says "Imported" instead of saying where they're actually made. I normally wear a large tall but with these new ones the large tall is more like a parachute. I could smuggle a mini fridge in the waist they messed the sizing up so bad. They're also using cheaper lighter zippers instead of the heavy duty ones like my old vest. Even the shell of the vest feels less durable, not to mention the garbage Carhartt logos they're stitching on them now. If you happen to find any of the vests still made in Mexico you should buy it because these new made in India ones are trash.

I ordered this vest to replace the one I've been wearing the last five years. Got a size larger to wear with layers as the XL got a little snug. The difference in quality is surprising and is not up to Carhartt standards. Much thinner and cheaper fleece that sends fuzz everywhere when you open the bag. You actually see as much primary fabric the fleece is knitted into as the fleece. Between us, my wife and have dozens of Carhartt outerwear products and this is the first one we've ever received that was junk. I returned for a refund. It is sad to see the decline of the Carhartt reputation for quality.

Had to replace my old Carhartt vest since the previous one finally wore out after over 10 years. Fits great and am pretty happy with the new one. The only thing that bothers me about the new design is they changed the inside left pocket. My old vest had a pocket with the opening on the top and a hook and loop closure which was fantastic to put pens, small notepads, or my phone in. The new vest still has the pocket but it has a zipper closure on the side. While the pocket is bigger, I think it is less useful since I can't just slip a pen into the pocket.

The vest is durable and warm. The canvas is tough and is beginning softening after a few washings. The zipper is heavy duty and the fleece is soft around the neck. <br /><br />I normally wear a medium (5’9” / 170lbs) and this runs large. I wear it over a hooded sweatshirt and the fit is pretty good. Definitely loose fitting and runs large. If I were to wear it under the sweatshirt I would guess I wear a small.
Bought it for my picky husband. He moves, bends squats and picks up 100lb boxes and his jacket never gets in his way and it’s still keeps him warm in the coolers at work. I would definitely recommend this jacket

It was not the same thing I had orders and after spending over 20$ to rush order it and having to send it back.
Overall good. This is a replacement for a very worn one. Key differnces are the lining is a 'pile' versus fabric; I expect the pile to get dirty and mat needing more washing. Second, in the older version there's an upper inside pocket with velcro. The new version has a lower pocket with a zipper. No where near as convenient for putting in or taking out; the old was a partial zip and with one hand break the velcro seal, slip in/out, reseal, now I need to unzip the entire jacket and take two hands to zip. Still seems good quality but function for a 'work vest' is less. Thanks,

HUGE, bought a small, this is a large, an ill fitting large too, the waist is 43", 5" larger than the old vest, just go back to the original design. Great if you're looking to get sucked into a piece of machinery. I work at a sawmill so anything that loose is an absolute no.

Great best. But the zipper is too small, gets caught in the vest fabric, and can't be pulled up without difficulty. If it didn't have to be zipped up with a crappy zipper that's too small, it would be perfect.
Great vest for working outdoors heavy and durable. The tail of the vest is long and covers your butt if thats a consideration in buying it. The sherpa lining is soft agasint your neck unlike some other vests that can rub your neck raw.

The quality of this vest is great. However the sizing is EXTREMELY off hence the 1 star. It is ridiculously oversized in the stomach/back area and looks terrible. He is a true XL esp in Carhartt and even by the measurements on here, it recommends XL for him. I ordered a smaller size for my husband, hope it looks better… will be returning the XL for sure.

I bought two (2) of the Loose Fit Washed Duck Sherpa-Lined Mock-Neck Vest. I love these vests, and if someone wanted to take them from me, they would have to tear them off my dead body. Well made, rugged, and warm. I wear one of them every day working. I only have one minor issue. I'm not sure labeling them as "loose" fit is the best way to describe them. Loose implied to me that they were not a "tailored" fit, but there is more "space" than I was expecting. Maybe "not a tailored fit" or something like that, would be better. I wish I had got one size smaller, but I'm not sure it would have fit my frame. So, I will wear them with pride and maybe try a smaller size (Medium) next time. I live in the PNW and this vest has become an everyday staple for fall-winter-spring. The sherpa lined pockets are a life saver on particularly cold days, and the vest stops wind very well. If I ever manage to wear through this vest, I will 100% be buying another one.

So i went to my local store and bought one, same size, and it was perfect. The one i ordered was 3 inches longer than the one i picked up in store, exact same size and product number. This is the fourth Carhartt Mock-Neck vest I have owned. I wear them all year long and they provide just the right amount of warmth for any situation. They are super durable and last for years. I have always worn a size medium and and been more than satisfied with the quality, so I ordered a medium. A couple of days later while looking at other Carhartt products, I decided to read reviews that people had written about the Mock-Neck. Many people have said in their reviews to go a size down. Based on what they said, I ordered a size small. Both vests arrived a day apart. The medium vest was huge on me but the small was just right. I contacted customer service and spoke to Betty, who was extremely helpful with returning the medium vest. The only thing that I kind of don’t like about the vest is the zipper. I preferred the zipper that all my other vests had. That’s just my personal opinion. That being said, it is still a five star product. Carhartt rocks!,,
Best piece of outerwear I’ve purchased
I was trying to replace a vest for my husband (it was a different brand) and I was unable to find it. I found this Carhartt vest that was very similar. My husband insisted on having a zippered inside pocket and this vest has that feature. I decided to purchase it and see if my husband would wear it and he said he really likes it! He now calls it his "good" vest!

Very loose and need to down size. They don't make Carhartt Washed Duck Sherpa-Lined Mock Vest for Men - Dark Brown - S. I guess SMALL people don't matter or they are not hard working outside workers. SMALL people can't get it in Dark Brown color. If you can find one that fits its a good product.
Its well crafted but inaccurately sized. Love the sherpa lining but this new one is much bigger than my existing size XL sherpa lined duck vest. Huge in middle, and elsewhere. I may order a size down or just punt because at 6'-2" 240# its hard to imagine size "L" in my world.

I'm 5'10, 190lbs; bought the large just like the one I've had for the last 10yrs, only difference is that the new style is 3in. bigger in the waist which doesn't keep the wind out and like one other reviewer mentioned; the zipper has been downgraded to a less substantial one.
These are a very different fit than the last version of this vest. They are very loose fitting so size down.

Actually, I wanted to give this a 3.5 star. Overall the vest is good. The zipper is a little too small, especially the male part. It doesn't want to engage the other part of the mechanism very easily. The sewing is a little rough overall. However, it fits well and has good heavy material. I think I'll do a bit more shopping next time. Alas, this is the way it is to buy online.

I don’t like how everything today is relaxed or loose fit but if you order down a size it fits like normal. Otherwise it’s just like the other vests I’ve been buying for years with one exception; the pockets seem to have gotten smaller as the fit has gotten looser. What’s up with that? I purchased 13 of these jackets for my maintenance team, along with one vest for our office person. Everyone loves the jackets and the vest. The local Carhartt store hooked us up with an Embroidery Shop and they put Names and an American flag on the front and large company logos on the back. They look great.
I really like the vest, and they fit well by ordering a size smaller than my usual Carhartt size. I purchased the Carhartt tan, and now a granite as well. The zipper should be heavier duty, but I can live with it. My only real complaint is that the Sherpa lining is wearing off around the neck line where it rubs against my skin. I shave daily, but apparently my rough beard is wearing the Sherpa away.

Just used this on 50 degree day helping a friend pruning in his vineyard. Gave freedom of arm movement, warmth, and collar was nice since it was windy.

My brother has been having his for about ten yrs. I used it one day, I loved it. It beeped me worm and was comfortable all day. I worked in a plant outside. It was freezing. This vest got me through the day. I bought one for my dad as well.
Definitely would recommend to size down. My husband loves his vest I have bought him 2 for him. He is able to stay warm but be free with his arms as he is a mechanic.
This vest is GREAT! It’s one of the few items I’ve bought that is actually sized properly. Amply cut, no tight fit here. Dunno why I waited so long to get a Carhartt.<br /><br />The only shortcoming IMHO is the need for snap or velcro closing cargo pockets so that I don’t lose my keys, etc.

It looked great, felt great, and appears to be very durable. Be carful it runs really large if you were a XXL an XXL in this will be way too big. I can’t share much more I had to rerun the one I ordered because it was too big. I couldn’t order a new one because they didn’t have it available in an XL. I’m disappointed because where I live it’s getting too warm to order a vest. I’ll wait till November and see if I’m still in the market before I order a new one.

My husband had always worn a medium in these vests and the vest was HUGE. I don’t even know if a small would fit. We sent the vest back.
I only gave 4 stars due to the fact that I didnt keep it because it was too large due to low inventory. I never owned carhartt before so I wasnt sure if it would fit. I would say they run large. But first impression is they are very nice quality clothes. The vest was very comfortable.

I love this vest! I needed a warmer vest for walking the dogs as I don’t really like jackets. This one fits the bill perfectly. I normally buy an XXL as I like things BIG but am glad I ordered an XL based on other reviews I read here prior to purchase. Plenty of pockets for storage too.
I prefer the old design which had a nice thicker lining and the Carhart leather patch at the pocket! Like ever thing else this vest got Cheaper made!
The best itself is a quality item. I like the design of it. The 5 pockets are great. I put my phone in the outer chest pocket with my wallet in one of the inside chest pockets. My phone fits a little tight and it's not a big phone, so if you have the larger version of any of the phones out there, it might not fit.<br />The Sherpa lining is thick and warm, and the higher collar helps retain warmth too. The holes for your arms are a good size and don't interfere with movement at all.<br />The only problem I had is the sizing of this vest. I'm 5'-10", 200 lbs, and I ordered a large after reading lots of reviews that talked about size, and based on other Carhartt jackets I have. The large was huge.<br />I ended up buying a medium on Amazon since Carhartt was sold out of all sizes and colors by the time I got this one.

Really disappointed. I ordered this as a Valentines gift and it was way too loose. He normally wears a large-tall in Carhartt clothing. I had to return the vest and planned to order a medium-tall but they aren’t in stock anywhere... I’ve been searching for a month!

Awesome fit after washing it. I love how it’s warm enough for cold weather but not too warm for working. It’s also just as tough as my other Carhartt jackets, ran a bunch of fencing the other day and it took a beating for sure.

This vest is great and keeps the core very warm. I wear this vest typically all the way down to about 10? with a hoodie. Great for those chilly nights but a coat ends up being too much.
Would love this vest if it were a size and a half smaller. I stopped purchasing Carhart products because there are not options for someone with a smaller frame. I purchased this because I had a gift certificate, and I got what I expected, something that is great looking and comfortable but way to big.

The vest is great Carhartt quality. I wanted it in Navy Blue and bought my normal Carhartt size in that color but it was too big. They were out of my "new" size (small) in blue so I purchased it in grey. It fits better, and I will likely keep it because all that is wrong is its not my preferred color. Carhartt is to have the blue available again in April. I may order it too, then.

Great vest! I got the large, which is my "true size." I can still fit a hooded sweatshirt under, which is perfect for outside work down into temps in the 20's. You maintain arm movement but still keep your core warm.

I love this vest. It takes a few washes to get rid of the stiffness but after that its good to go.
It works perfect for the outdoors when it is freezing outside but youre going to be doing hardwork. It allows the perfect balance to prevent overheating without getting in the way of your work and to remain warm when youre having a rest.
Love it. Plenty warm, stylish, and love the tall fit. Pockets in all the right places too. A large is pretty large so if you don’t have a decent sized belly you might want a medium. I bought a large to be safe but will likely get it tailored down to fit tighter.

Overall it's a nice vest but I had to return it because the size I ordered was too big and when I went to exchange it they didn't have the color I was wanting. I received store credit and I'm yet to find another vest like the one I originally wanted.

I love this vest and wear it daily for much of the year. I recently bought another one to replace my old one that's wearing out but they changed the sizing! What they're calling a medium now is huge, I was swimming in it.
The first order was my normal size XL Tall. It was far too large and long to wear. I returned it and ordered another one. The one I kept, size Large, Regular was very good. The zipper is difficult to start.

Overall though, it is well worth the cost in my most humble of opinion. 4 starts because they changed the shape of the left inner pocket. Little bit looser on the fit which is nice because i like the vest to be the outer layer.

I usually wear a 2xl but I needed to size down to the xl. Other than the size issue, it works great. It keeps your core warm while your arms are free for activities.

Originally bought the vest in XL Tall, same size as my original one in another color, was too big in chest size, ordered L Tall. New vest fits perfectly, even with a tall normally they run a tad short on me, this was nice and tall, very warm, outside and inside zipper pocket is great for money clip and such. I might purchase another one in different color. Return process was straight forward, currently being shipped back for a credit.

Took a great vest, moved the 2 interior pockets, and ruined it! Now anything in those 2 pockets sits on top of your midsection instead of on the side and is more noticeable and also less comfortable. Have had several of the older style where the pockets were set about an inch and a half further to the side and they wore great and anything in the pockets were not noticeable. Will not get anymore of these vest! Also there appears to be an attempt to put a pencil on the right outer pocket and one of the vest arrived with that opening unsewn. I am very disappointed mostly because of the new placement of the 2 interior pockets and I do not like the zippered pocket on the left side. As I said, I will never get another one like this! Only reason I can figure is the bean counters trying to save money in production and messed up what use to be a great vest!

Minimalist but adequate pockets, strong brass zipper. 100%.<br />I’m 71 so it’s my last vest, but if I was a lot younger it would be my last vest too.

The vest feels great. Sherpa was very soft. The only issue that I had with the vest is the sizing. Hubby usually wears an extra large in every top. This was massive. Disappointing because I used a special one time discount code and now cannot do an exchange. Have to send back and reorder. I cannot find this product in stores locally because it is wintertime. If I repurchase I am going to have to pay the extra money due to my lost code which was awarded by being a front-line worker...I wish I could reuse the code again as I returned the item.

I bought this for work. I was tired of fleece vests getting all ragged after a wash. So far so good. I love the grey color and this will be considerably more durable over time. The best was also pretty soft feeling out of the package so I am sure it will only get more comfortable.

I have worn out 2 of them in the last 15 years. I wear this vest over a hoodie. This new vest has a additional zippered "phone" pocket on the inside which my other ones did not.
Great quality, solid and well-tailored, larger arm holes for movement and comfort are also flattering for fit. Medium was surprisingly large, even allowing for layers underneath. Felt it was sized closer to a large. Not bulky, although solid and dense; offers good insulation.

Love it. Comfortable, warm, and fits well. Pay attention to the size chart though, I typically wear an XLT (XL tall) so that's what I originally ordered and it was WAY too big. The LT is a much better fit for me (210#, 6'5").

I have never purchased or owned a vest in my life. My wife bought me this vest as a birthday present last year and I was initially a little leery about wearing a vest. I was wrong. This vest is perfect for multiple weather situations, is extremely warm, has lots of pockets, and is durable as hell.
Runs big. I ordered for my son and it's too big compared to the another one that is the same size.

I was trying to decide between this one and the V01 Duck Vest. Glad I went with this one. The outer layer is already broken in and softer and the pocket situation is way better. Add to that the mock neck which is way more comfortable. Love love love.

I'm 6' 1" 245 and the XL Reg fits very well. I had tried an XLT and it was very snug. Two XL Reg. fit the same with some looseness to allow layering. So, there are still size differences within the same sizes sometimes. Being able to zip the vest up to your chin is great! Keeps the air from going down and giving you a chill. Wish Carhart had made these 20 years ago. Even the smaller collar is nice to keep some air off the back of your neck. The blue is very nice. Very happy with the product.

Bought this for my farmer husband. He is in love with it. He’s actually asking for a second one. I got him regular length medium and it fits well. Even after washing it. Didn’t seem to shrink much, even in the length. He’s 5’11 160 pounds.
Vest runs a bit on the bigger size but not a game changer if your wearing it on top of other clothes

I bought one for myself. I saw it and had to have one. Loved it so I ordered another one same color for my son ( Army 1st Sgt.). I sent it to him , it’s wrapped so he will get it for Christmas. It’s pretty good vest, and only reason I give 4stars is - very warm and would be nice if it would come with adjustment on the waist area or come up with fitted size like athletic or..<br />My husband is XL on his shoulders and M on his waist. Because it feet’s ver good on his shoulders but very bulky around his waist .<br />But he still enjoys his vest.

I am 6’4” tall and the L Tall fits me very well. I suggest you try the true to size chest in a tall before jumping to the next size up. The XL was baggy on me and did not fit near as well as the L Tall.
Disappointed, this feels like a knockoff of their previous products, much less warmth and clearly less durable. You can get virtually the same thing for much less, why would you make a knockoff of your own product?

The vest is absolutely awesome not to heavy or bulky which is perfect living in SoCal. I highly recommend trying on the vest before you order online, I am a large and was thinking of wearing it over a hoodie . I ordered an XL which was more like a XXL for me, then ordered a medium which fit a little on the fitted side.

I absolutely love this jacket. Very comfy, keeps you warm and the bottom keeps out the wind when you bend down. My biggest advice is to order a size down. I’m regularly a medium with most clothing but I had to return my first purchase and go with a small. Even after washing the small is better for me at 5’8” 175lbs. Overall very happy with product

I'm 6'2", 225 and the large tall fits really well with a flannel, but would be too tight for a sweatshirt. It looks to be as well made as my Carhartt coat.
last year for xmas, I was planning on getting this vest for my boyfriend. i sent a picture to my dad asking if he thought the style was nice, and he liked it so much, i decided to get one for him too. they both LOVE IT. my bf works in construction so this is perfect for wearing a long sleeve underneath and working in the morning on the job site. also perfect for winters in tahoe. my bf is usually a large and my dad is usually an xl; i got them both their sizes and they fit perfectly. a little shorter than i expected, but they don’t seem to care. men.

Beware of sizing. I normally wear a Medium but wanted a larger size to wear over a sweatshirt. I ordered a Large. I could gain 75 lbs and it would still be too large. I suspect it is actually a XL but got tagged wrong in Mexico. I should have sent it back. Very dissapointed !
Too big in the girth area, but fits my chest perfect. I have a gut and I still needed to have a seamstress take about 3-4 inches out of the girth area on the vest, otherwise I wouldn’t have worn it.
Quality materials, warm and comfortable!
I have owned one of these vests for years. You can't wear them out. I recently had gastric sleeve surgery and can no longer wear it. The vest was at least 10 years old and still looked like new. Gave it to a friend and he was excited. Just ordered myself a new vest of a much smaller size. They are very durable and warm. Highly recommended.
I ordered 1 size larger to accommodate for sweatshirts for underneath the vest. Could not be happier. Awesome fit, and the sherpa lining is very soft, and the vest is has a very durable outside with great pocket placement.

Ordered a medium which was the size of my carhartt vest my employer purchased for me a few years ago. It was much bigger but I was able to exchange it for a small from a carhartt store 20 minutes from my home in Cherryhill NJ. The store owner was great and I will definitely be shopping there from now on. This year’s small is the medium from a few years ago. The vest is warm and provides great mobility for work as a carpenter. I would recommend this vest.
This is supposed to be the same old reliable vest Carhartt have always made.<br />Not true.<br />The useful inside bucket pockets have been replaced with some diagonal zipper malarkey.<br />I’m not sure who this is intended for, but it’s not useful to a working person.<br />Disappointing.

My Carhartt vest is everything I expected. As with all Carhartt clothes, it exceeds expectations. Very warm but not too much. It also looks great. Don’t hesitate to buy one.

Nice enough vest for winter warmth, but previous Carhartt was a heavier(5-star), button snap-up version which apparently is no longer available. I've had many of your vests in the past. They've held up well in harsh work and weather conditions for the most part. But the cheap, lightweight zipper has always been below par, and the first thing to go. The button snap-up would be a huge improvement! At least the multiple pocket layout remains the same.

First ordered a LG what is normal for me but the vests run big for there sizes (LG was more like XL) sent it back and ordered a Mid and love it. Im cold natured, if its not 71F then I'm cold and this vest so far has been great for the Indiana fall weather.

Great quality and feel. Construction is as always great. I love the sherpa lining. It's is soft and warm. I use this vest while cutting firewood. It allows full freedom of movement while keeping me warm. The inside pocket is great for my cell phone while doing work. Large pockets are great to have as well. Just can't beat Carhartt quality. My wife liked mine so much she got one for herself.

I really like their vests. The extra pockets in the newer vests, compared to this from 45 years ago, is really nice. The little bit higher collar is great also. This is my second vest, purchased a new one for a different color for variety.
Runs just a little big, but overall a very nice vest. Will get years of wear out of this one.

Well made stuff, but designed for old fat guys. Seriously, I wear a medium shirt, and the vest fit like an extra large. Size down at least one size. That being said, the quality of material is great, I’d get one if they fit right.

This vest is the replacement of the V33 and it is complete trash. The vest is much longer, the pockets are all completely different and the fit is not the same. Bring back the V33!
Have not been disapointed yet by any carhartt product. I only wish they would of continued the Sandstone products and grey color.

The lining is a little thin but it's a good comfortable vest with a tall collar to keep your neck warm when riding motorcycles.
Very nice Vest but unfortunately the size is way off, I have 3 mock neck<br />sherpa lined V33 Vests made in Mexico and size Small is perfect , this was the reason i bought this bit instead this is much bigger size , even like a large...<br />I wll not teturn it as i live in south America but i will have to sell it . A pity because i would have liked to use it / by the way this was made in India not Mexico..

Not good. The design change is horrible. The arm openings reach all the way down to my third rib. Permitting way to much air into the core of my body. The lower back flap extends far to low, almost reaching the lower end of my butt cheeks. I returned it, couldn't be more disappointed.<br />Carhartt needs to go back to the old design. Now that was a truly good vest.
I haven't worn it out yet. The temperature here has been in the 80s

This is the 3rd time I've bought one of these and they hold up great. I usually have to wash my stuff about once a week due to my industry and the clothing takes a beating. I had my last one in this style for 8 years. Just ordered this one and it is still the same durability and quality. Excellent investment.
