Great fit not as insulated I thought they would be for a level 3 warmth but still did the job

I am 5’2, 130 lbs and got the small short. They fit perfectly! I’m also 6 months pregnant, and was looking for something that would stretch with me for a while and still work when I’m not pregnant, and these are it. The straps stretch to give me even more belly room which was exactly what I wanted. Super warm and fit great!

If you work outside, don't bother. These are like 1/2 the weight of my old Carhartt bibs. They are flimsy, cheaply made, and will absolutely not keep you warm through the winter. Its so frustrating and disappointing to me that a brand I have relied on for workwear for years has gotten so terrible and cheap that I have to keep wearing my beat up old stuff. Carhartt could regain their reputation if they released a line of durable, quality workwear for working folks that they could sell alongside their garbage imitation fashion line.

I’m 5’, weigh 120 lb and ordered the small short. They fit great around the waist, but the legs are slightly long and they are a bit long waisted for me. It would be better if the shoulder straps could be adjusted more and that would help with both issues. Overall I really like them; they are warm and durable and I’m keeping them.

Ì LOVE this bib! I don’t like purchasing online because the fit can be off and my worst nightmare is having to return for an exchange. But it seems to be the way of the world lately and the local store neither had my size or color I wanted. No matter what item I was looking for. Ì am amazed by the accuracy of the fit. I forgot to keep in mind wearing jeans or sweats underneath. So I got worried. It put a pair on and they still fit perfectly and comfortably. Now…where is my super cold weather so I can wear them every day? Lol. Also, be sure to use the measuring system they provide. It’s what told me that I wear a medium.

Love. Comfy. Warm. I am 5’6 and got the long. I don’t imagine they will fit much taller than me.

These fit as expected over clothes. Have worn outside all day in 30-40F weather with rain and they have kept me warm and dry. Wash/dry without shrinking.

These fit so great and the fabric is SO beautiful, soft and will keep me warm doing firewood this winter.

I initially ordered a L based on the size chart, but i had to return for a M and they fit great! For reference I'm 5'8, 180 lbs, muscular build, Bust 38DD, Waist 32, Hips 44 (i think), inseam 32. I think they run a little big if you reference the size chart, but i can still fit a hoodie and some leggings under the size M if i need extra warmth. Also they're cute and comfy!

I love these overalls, they’re of awesome quality. I’m 5’ 1” and 145lbs and ordered a size medium short. The only reason why I’m choosing 4 stars is because the adjustable straps don’t tighten enough to stay up. I wish they had just a couple more inches of wiggle room. Other than that I love them!

Exactly what my daughter wanted as she begins her prevet education! Fits well and has fabulous pockets.

I’m 5’6” tall and wear a size 8/9 pants. I got these overalls in a size medium and they are way too snug to allow for the appropriate amount of layering beneath them for those really cold, snowy days.

I work in a cooler and these overalls keep me toasty warm! Well worth the investment!

I have had these for many years and they are so comfy and really stand up over time, I'm guessing I've had them for 6 years and they still look pretty good! I like that Carhartt really stands up over time and washes up nice. They also are a nice fit for a woman, they have nice contour to them to fit well and not be bulky.

I love these insulated overalls. I’m 5ft 8in, 168 lbs. The size Large, regular length fits. They seemed a bit long, but I’ve never worn a short. The salesman recommended I roll them up just a bit initially since the length may shrink just a bit. I wear them with insulated boots. These are perfect for cold days at the dog park. Very warm, comfortable and no worries about tears from the occasionally over exuberant dog!

Why had I not purchased these overalls before? They are super warm, tough enough for work and kept my legs dry while walking in the snow and rain and shoveling snow. Plus they look awesome! Roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath and long underwear. I love ‘em and never want to take them off! They are a loose fit, not clingy or chic. Hey, they ARE work clothes!

So comfortable!! I do suggest sizing up to allow for layering underneath. So many pockets!! You will be so warm and have everything you need on you!! The quality is amazing and the comfort is unreal!! Not super bulky!! Can easily get around while wearing them!!

The quality is evident. These kept me warm for sure. I am normally a size 14 in pants. If you have any curves at all or a pronounced backside I advise you to size up. I had to size up two sizes.

They fit perfectly I thought they were gonna be too long but they are just right!!

I wore these every day for a week straight, I ordered a small regular I’m 5’1 130 pounds they fit a little snug in the legs but looser at the top half which was a little weird without a hoodie but with a hoodie it was much better.

I love the fit of these bibs! They are a little tight in the thighs, so I ordered a size larger than I typically order to accommodate for wearing leggings underneath.

Love them, I wear them while riding my motorcycle when heated gear is not needed. They keep me warm and the fit is perfect.

Excellent quality as always. This is the second pair I have owned. Let me tell you I put them to the test. I am a logger and wear them daily in the cold months. The fit is accurate to the size chart as well. Carhartt has the only petite small that is true to size. Other brands are always to long or to bulky. It’s nice to wear a pair of leggings underneath for comfort and know I’ll stay warm. I will be purchasing a pair of uninsulated ones for summer months.

I mainly got these to stay warm while shoveling and on winter outdoor film shoots, and I love them so far. I got XS Short and am 5'0" and weigh 110 lbs. Being so short, I have to fold them up slightly, but not enough to be annoying. Great purchase.

I love the bibs. Carhartt is the only brand of bibs I've ever warn. I finally found a pair of women's tall!! As a 6' tall woman that was extremely exciting to me. Legs are long enough but even with the shoulders let all the way out, the body is just too short. So disappointed. The quality is great and they are very warm and durable. Just too short in the body for me.

I am 5’3, 150. So many bibs have been way too long and the crotch near my knees. I was excited to see these Carhartts in a “short”. Although the length is nearly perfect the crotch still sites about 6 inches below where I’d like. I cannot pull them up because the shoulder straps won’t adjust enough. Given that, the bib part sags a lot. I am going to see if a seamstress can do something about it. I probably should have returned them, but I already wore them outside. I would also liked to have had the “bib” part insulated. These are more giving (not as stiff) than some other Carhartt bibs I have tried on. Although this seems a negative review, a taller person would probably love these, but then why would they want a “short”? As all Carhart clothes I wear, these seem they will last forever!

I'm 5'9" and 135 (usually a size small, 2/4 in jeans) - initially ordered M Tall but they were just too big. I exchanged for S Tall which are a great fit, other than the straps being short. I have them on the absolute longest setting and they work, but wish I could adjust them more. They have stretch so I'm hoping they'll stretch as they get broken in. <br /><br />If you are shorter than 5'9" definitely get the regular length - these are long! <br /><br />They do have a small stain/mark or something on the thigh from the factory. Came out of the sealed package that way. I already exchanged them once so I'm not gonna bother with sending them back because of a little mark - these are for staying warm at the barn and will get dirty immediately anyway.<br /><br />Really wish there were other colors available (black was the only thing in stock, navy and dark brown were sold out) - black shows everything! Even just trying them on in the house they have dog hair on them lol. If these become available in Carhartt brown I will order another pair for sure!<br /><br />Also thank you for offering a discount for nurses/first responders/military - greatly appreciated by this very tired RN, will always continue to order from Carhartt :)

I love these coveralls! I used to buy mens because I liked the pockets better than the womens but these coveralls pockets are perfect! I measured using their chart and my coveralls fit perfectly.

So happy with these overalls. They are warm, have half zippers to make it easier to get in and out of muck boots. I can wear jeans or workout gear under them if I need to just pull them on and go outside for a quick chore. They fit well, I am 5'7", 140 pounds and got the Medium Tall. In Wrangler Mae jeans or Straight legs I wear a size 5/36 inseam. These are a perfect length, and I know they will stand up to ranch work.

So excited to find ones that fit!<br /><br />Not a fan of the clasps to secure them.

I do not think these are comfortable at all and they definitely don't feel like relaxed fit. I am only 5' 5" but the stride is short and I had to loosen the straps almost all of the way.

These are super warm and comfortable. They are very easy to move in and perfect for cold days. They also look good and are true to size.

Nice and warm, and I like how the zipper in the legs is not in contact with the skin. I deducted one star for the over-the-shoulder buckles because they are clunky/thin/cheap, and hard to connect/disconnect quickly. I deducted another star because dog hair sticks to this fabric like nothing I've ever seen before. Regular denim would have been better.

Love these overalls. They are even cute on. These were a gift for my 14 year old daughter for Christmas. She was thrilled. She rides horse and was out at the barn in 14 degree weather and stayed warm. She said they are very comfortable, kept her warm and were still flexible enough for her to ride the horse in them. My daughter is little - 5'3, 100 lbs. I initially ordered her the small and then panicked that they were going to be huge and ordered the XS. The XS ended up fitting her better even with joggers on underneath. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning the small, so we're keeping it too. It fits her, but he XS just fits better.

Not for people with long torsos. I bought the medium tall and I'm 5'10, 135lbs, the straps are way too short even adjusted to the longest length. The relaxed fit is not as loose in the legs as I thought they'd be, but still fit ok with a pair of breeches and some thermals under.<br />They just need to make the straps much longer. They did keep me warm in below-zero weather today, but I'll have to find a way to add length to the straps for them to be comfortable.

I ordered the tall medium. It was not long enough in the body with the shoulder straps let out all the way. It was kind of wide in the hips. I’m 5’11”, 39-30-40, 165#, 33” inseam. I’d say that this is not tall enough if over 5’9”. The deep brown color was nice. Returned—can’t live with constant wedgie.

5 feet tall and the short length was perfect.

Straps were stuck under metal clip, and needed loosened before they became adjustable, pocket comes up to neck almost, nothing will stay in side pockets, and front tummy spot bunches up weird, legs are too long, fully tightened and not quite fitting, but legs, stomach and chest girth is correct-ish. At least they're warm

Do not fit like expected

The size on these are not accurate according to the sizing chart. I’m 5’10 and chose size regular and the legs are so long that they cover my feet with no boots on. With boots they drag across the ground. The width of the pant leg is large enough to put 2-3 of my legs in them. They flare out so much at the bottom, there’s no way they even remotely keep snow from going up your leg. The only other style that isn’t flared out that much at the bottom is an additional $100 for essentially the same exact bib.

Glad I made the purchase I brought the brown and blue bib but on the blue bib the latch was sewn in backwards no packing slip was sent with my order so it wasn't able to return guess I'm going to have to pay money and take it to a tailor and get the latch fixed myself besides that it's a little tight for my taste but I'll make it work for Long Cold days working on the railroad.... So ladies if you have thighs and a little bigger room you might want to get a size or two bigger. I'm 5'9 174lbs.

Love these!! 5'7"; regular is great length; so comfortable and warm, and heavy - perfect! They should have a piece of fabric on the back so I can hang them up on a hook; don't want to hang from elastic straps, that's the only issue so I'll have to create one myself.

I give the product five stars, my only complains are my legs being too short. They are 4-5 inches long on me but the zipper-snap duo keeps the excess fabric from dragging. They are also a bit tight on my thighs, but again, no fault to carhartt. They’re durable and comfortable and even a little fashionable

I ordered a M tall in the coveralls and they fit perfect. I ordered a M tall in these bib overalls and I couldnt get them passed my hips. The shoulder straps appear to be very short and not adjustable enough to make them not ride up. I returned them. Im 5'10" with a 35" inseam.

Warm and comfortable <br />Perfect for working in the yard or sitting by the fire when it’s chilly.<br /><br />Love the stretchy hip/flexibility in the waist area in the women’s overalls. <br /><br />I’m 5’3” 140 lbs and ordered the small. A medium may have been a bit better, depending how much clothing you want to wear underneath. I just wear tights under mine and small was fine. If you’re going to put over bulkier fitting clothing then I suggest going up a size.

Fit small. I have a paid of the loose fit in a Extra Small, wanted a size bigger. So I figured if I got a size small in these that they’d fit. I was wrong, way too small in the hip area. I’m usually a size xsmall in Carhartt Apparel. I just sold them on Facebook Marketplace so I wouldn’t have to pay $30.00 to return them. If I were to order them again, I’d have to get a Medium.

My daughter is in construction and wears these bibs all winter. She loves them saying they help keep her warm and can move freely in them.

I love my nee Carhartt's! Ideal for snowmachining and traveling to the village. Comfortable and love the pocket locations. The one drawback is the length is too long for my legs

My only criticism is that the legs are a little long (which is something I rarely deal with). Otherwise, the overalls are super comfortable, sturdy, and warm without being suffocating. They've already made my outdoor work so much easier and more comfortable. I love all the pockets on the bib, too!

Exactly what I wanted

Absolutely love these. I purchased them for work but I’ve now worn them several times to outdoor events (I live in Canada). While everyone else is shivering their buns off, I’m toasty warm and super comfortable. Also love the amount and capacity of pockets.

I think they fit fine. The chest piece lays funny. Not as well designed as the old mens style. I am 5’ 5 and I was told the length of the regulars and I should have gone with the short because they are a little long. They work with boots though. The hip pockets are short which is a loss of points in my book. They could have been made full length like the old men’s style but they change them and the pockets are stupid.

I love my relaxed fit insulated bib overalls. They are perfect for being outside for long amounts time in colder climate, but also comfortable enough to wear around the house.

Good fit, like the insulation, good flexibility. The fastenings @ chest get twisted and hurt, hard to manipulate, go back to previous style.

Really warm. Super comfy. Great fit. Can layer underneath if necessary. Love this purchase. It is a tad long and grazes the ground unfortunately and tailoring the thick material, but be harder than other pieces of clothing. Still a good staple item for the winter/cold weather.

Not the fit that i thought thought it would be. If i had not already taken the tags off and washed them, i would exchange them for the other style. They are a hassle to get on and off. Other than that, they do their job with keeping me warm.

It fits perfectly it’s just the waist area is a tad bit tight. The only thing different about this from mens is the waist part has a stretchy thing, the mens does not. I would prefer to get mens if you like it loose and want a pair that will fit right over your coat.

These run incredibly small, I ordered a size up so I could wear leggings or skinny jeans underneath and I could even get them over my thighs.

Way to tight I ordered a size small and I’m 125lbs and 5’6, by the time I went to order a different size because they don’t do exchanges they were completely out of stock of every single size over night… disappointing

These are too small around the waist and hips and the larger size is too big.<br />Both were too long--I am 5'3" and the length is at least 5 inches too long on the leg length. The top length is also too long with the crotch being almost to my knees with the shoulder straps at their shortest.<br />Who were these made for? They are the short size?!

Amazing fit but not built for real work. Hammer loop doesn't even hold a 12oz hammer or a cats paw.

Not too heavy that it is hard to move in but warm enough for those colder days. I can wear pants underneath if I need to. I love the navy color!

I wear a size 2 but I am curvy all hips, butt and thighs from lifting , these overalls are made for a mans body , tight in the thighs and seat and baggy elsewhere, please make to fit a woman if you are selling it as such. I bought the small size !! Will be giving these away to a teenager.

The Legs are lined in my opinion, not insulated. The chest bib part is not lined or insulated. Not recommend if your looking for WARM. I had the pair with the zipper up the middle but they were sold out. Those are much warmer than these, even tho when I asked customer service on the chart they said these would be warmer - WRONG

Size Small Short fit perfect for my height (5’2”) 120lbs, and snug enough around the waist to not feel bulky or get in the way when working on our farm.

Perfect fit, keeps me warm and dry. Very large pockets, it can hold both my work phone and personal phone as well as all my other necessary items. It's been a challenge to find functional women's work clothes and I'm so glad I decided to try Carhartt.

Love them, but they are way too long. There wasn’t length guidelines in the sizing info so took a chance on regular length. I’m 5’4 so I thought it might work but they are excessively long. Super disappointing

Okay where do I start. I work on the water so carhartt has been the only brand that withstands the rough and tough wear without disappointment.<br />When it comes to sizing. Terrible. I can’t adjust the straps so they consistently fall. I own another pair of overalls that are well over three years old and still holding up. I wanted them in another color. Well this was the closest (also living up north it gets extremely cold. The insulation was too good to not pass up.). <br />Compared to the old one the sizing has completely changed. Yes I had the same issue with shoulder straps but I had the option of adjusting. These I do not. I am bottom heavy. While the pants fit like a glove (with room for leggings) the top how ever… I could fit a small child and still have room. (Which is awesome for some ladies with big blessings. Not for my itty bitty.) COULD be fixed by shoulder straps. Sadly … no. <br />The length is awesome (it goes passed my feet but with boots will be perfect). <br />The waist sits weird but I throughly enjoy the stretch with the button option. Great for quickly taking them off when you need to run to the bathroom. <br />Overall? 4/5. For reference I’m 5’4. Sizing 6-8 bottoms. Small in tops. Torso is small compared to my legs.

I work in construction year round and these bibs are great for what I need; warm, durable and look great. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is the design of the straps.. they are way too short. I have extended them to the max and it’s still not enough. If you have a long torso or just don’t like the feeling of your pants riding up, I might not recommend this product to you. Carhartt! Make your straps longer! Women have shoulders too

Only dislike is after a few weeks the spandex(stretchy part) of one strip started to unravel and I ended up cutting that part out and just sewed it. Not a big deal, but they are durable, so sewing by hand not the easiest. Oh, and one of the studs fell of in wash. Overall I love them!

I originally ordered a small short. I'm 5'3" 129lbs, 28 waist, 38 hips. I ordered according to the size chart but they were SUPER tight across my hips and pulled the pockets so they gaped open. And this was without any base layer. I also ordered the unlined denim overall in the small short and they fit loose enough to wear a base layer. I reordered the medium short and they are baggy, but better and will allow for a base layer underneath. The only issue I have it that I can not adjust the straps short enough due to the elastic on the strap. But since these are not for fashion and will be used for warmth on the farm, I'll keep them. Length was perfect for me.

A while back I bought two pairs of Carhartt Loose Fit Weathered Duck Insulated Biberalls and I love them. They are fantastic on really cold days. I thought I would give these Relaxed Fit Washed Duck Insulated Bib Overalls a try for days that are cool, but not downright freezing. I don't know what the design team for these was thinking, but they screwed up big time. i'm 5' 11" and 145 Lbs. 36-28-38 and I went with a size small tall hoping for a good form flattering fit. The leg length is long enough, but it's as if the design team just added a couple of inches to the legs of the regular size and took no account that taller women are just that- taller. The straps on these are WAY TOO SHORT, and so, as others have stated in reviews here, impossible to make long enough to be comfortable. When I move they constantly dig in because the elastic, stretchy part is maxed out. Maybe the design team at Carhartt should have a tall woman on the staff to give them some kind input into what works and what doesn't. These don't. Wanted to love them, but will be returning. :(

Alright alright... So let me start by saying that the QUALITY of the garment has been impressive, however the SIZING has not been... So these would get a 3.5/5 stars in my opinion. I am 5'10" 115lbs 32" inseam and it was a hilarious effort to find a par of these that fit me. An XS Regular was like an annoying wedgie but the length looked fine! So I tried to adjust the length of the straps to minimize said wedgie experience... that didn't really work. The straps were maxed out but still did not fit me comfortably around my waist and crotch. SO I ordered the XS Tall and now the length drowns me but the wedgie problem is gone. I don't quite know how best to have fixed the situation, but its not great. I am pleased with the quality, due to my nature of work... but the fit leaves a lot to be desired.

Obviously Carhartt bibs are the way to go. In the workwear industry there really is no competition when it comes to their bibs, there’s no alternative that compares. That being said, I can’t understand not making a smaller size. Having a 27 inch waist for your smallest size just doesn’t make sense to me. I work as a framer, 100 lbs and 24 inch waist, and these *just* work. They are, however, bulky and not fitted around the legs or waist which make working just less comfortable than wearing something that actually fits. Doing a hot wash and dry did help but only to some extent. All in all, please make a smaller size, just add an XXS I can’t be the only female worker that needs a smaller option. 5 stars if you did that.

The bib overalls are very well made. I ordered a size 10 regular length. They were too long. Called customer Service and ordered 10 short. They sent me a 10 regular again. I returned both orders.

I’m 5’9 and 135 pounds, I followed the size chart and ordered a small tall pair.. for one they are not as good of quality as men’s overalls. For two they are not true to size or tall enough. Super sad because I’ve always been a carhartt fan.

I am fairly tall (5'8") and it is so hard for me to find pants that are long enough without ordering up a size. I ordered my regular shirt size which is a medium and a tall (34") inseam for the length and they fit amazing. They are a little longer than where a normal 34" inseam pant would fall which is great because I will be wearing these with boots. Highly recommend.

So disappointed. First, I ordered an xsmall black pair of these. I received a medium, cream colored of a completely different style. If I could do zero stars, I would because they did nothing to try to fix the situation. Carhartt told me I have to return them, get my refund and then order the ones I want again. Pretty sure that’s not how I would fix MY mistake. See ya Carhartt!

So disappointed! The overalls seem warm and rather comfortable but the straps are so short. I am an average 5'6 125lb female and I have a constant wedgie because I can't make the straps longer. I don't consider myself tall and therefore ordered the regular size. I am unable to return because I live in the Arctic and shipping was already crazy. :(

I’m 5’3” tall and I weigh 145 pounds. I purchased the size Large. They are a little long while barefoot, when I put boots on they are fine. They are a tad big, but once layered with all my clothes they are comfy with room to move. We live in New Hampshire with some super cold days and nights, these are perfect!

these were not made for snow wear and I knew that going in but as a curvier woman it's difficult to find snow wear that fits and gives a full range of motion. these defiantly do, they're super comfortable and I was able to stay warm along with some leggings and a tee-shirt (I was in like 40-50 degree California but still). as far as the snow, I did spend a good amount of time falling on m but in the snow but as long as I was only down for a minute or two there was no problem with a wet butt. I did sit in the snow for more than 10 minutes at the end of the day and it did take a while for the pants to dry but it never seeped inside. so I love em

Within 1 month of wearing these 5 days a week, the fabric wore down and there were large holes all the way through on both inside ankles and knees. It was extremely disappointing. I was unable to repair it myself and Carharrt was unable to repair it in a feasible time period. I live in Maine, and with these as my only means of warmth while working outside, there was no way I could part with them for a few weeks to be repaired in the winter. Even after explaining my situation, Carhartt could offer no other solutions other then an extremely small discount for further purchases. I had worked really hard to save up just enough for a single pair of overalls, there was no way I could afford another pair with just 10% off. I also found that when I’m shoveling the shoulder straps tend to slide off and down my arm. I cross the straps and it helps a little bit, but they still slide off.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of these bibs. They are perfect being quilt lined so they are warm but not too hot. Also I can add more layers underneath if I need to be warmer. They are great to throw over my pants out in the snow, dirt, or anywhere.

This is my first coverall and I should not have waited this long to get one. Our temperatures got down to 5-10 below two weeks ago and I was tosty warm. Wore insulated socks, muck boots, jeans and my coveralls...and yes a top and jacket. I was cozy warm for the hour I had to be outside in the weather. Recently I've received several compliments on the look since I haven't had to wear a coat due to the warming temps. They wash great and didn't shrink. Plenty of pockets and loops for tools, cell phone, keys, dog treats, etc. Super Happy!!!!

I love my bibs! The keep me warm, have very useful pockets and comfortable with stretchy elastic in the hip area that allows more natural movement and comfort.

I run a food pantry, unloading trucks in the winter in Ohio can be cold and miserable but these bibs made this winter easy. They were warm, fit my height, and were durable for the dirty physical labor that we do. I am ordering more Carhartt gear for work now. It is the best brand for work I have found.

My bibs arrived before they were promised, they were a bit stiff so I washed them and they were perfect. The bibs were warm and easy on and off.

I absolutely love my bibs and know they will last a long time. They keep me warm on cold days and have a very comfortable lining. I knocked a star from comfort because they had to be broken in.

I’m 5’3” and about 127lbs. I got the small short, and they fit perfect. Was debating on getting the x-small but I’m glad I didn’t. The legs hit perfectly at the bottom and don’t drag at all, which I always deal with having short legs. Very happy with these!

The fit has changed - the slimmer profile and smaller pockets are not good for winter farm chores. The old fit was much more functional. Farmers need to be able to add layers to deal with cold winter, and we need big pockets. The newer fit of the overalls and jackets are too slim, even when I buy larger sizes. I need to be able to load up my pockets when I'm taking care of livestock on the farm.

I love my bibs and jacket but zipper broke on jacket very upsetting. I live in Indiana and its 8 degrees. I need my jacket to zip!

These overalls are so comfy and warm! I was so glad they had short sizing as my legs are really short. Although they are a little long if I’m not wearing shoes, the length hits perfectly when I have my work boots on. My only suggestion would be to allow the shoulder straps to be tightened a bit more, as they’re a little loose on me. But, it definitely isn’t a major issue. I love all the pockets (even a zippered one!) and these kept me warm in a -10 degree wind chill all day. I definitely recommend wearing leggings or long johns underneath, as these pants aren’t tight fitting at the bottom.

I got the 2x tall. <br /><br />The material and construction is great however all the length is in the legs and not so much torso. The suspenders are tight on my shoulders. Also the legs are really heavy, took some getting used to.

Great! I work 12 hr days in the railroad yard in Indiana and it is very cold at<br />night! These help keep me warm and I am so happy with them that I ordered another pair and should be receiving them today! Thank You!!

These are perfect for me to wear during cold weather when I am volunteering at The Riley Farm Rescue! I can't feel the few geese or roosters that peck at me which is what I am most excited about. They keep me warm and the dirt washes off easily.

These bibs are wonderful. They fit great and will do well in the snow/cold weather. I ordered a size up to be sure they’d fit over clothing and I’m glad I did. If I ordered true to size, I’m sure they would not fit over my jeans.

I love these! Great quality. The only downside is that they run a tad bit small. I’m 5’6 160lbs and I got a medium and they fit me okay but they are a bit snug when I sit down or bend over so I would probably order a large next time.

Runs small. I’m 5’8” and ordered the small and they didn’t fit my torso. I have a pair of unlined bibs that are size small and they fit perfectly.

The quilt lined bibs are great for the cold weather . The quality is great! I recommend the bib overalls.

They are great but just too long! I am just under 5' 2", and ordered size Small Short. The quality seems good, and the fit is good otherwise although on the roomy side. I just wish the length fit properly as they could be a tripping hazard or could get caught in machinery .

I am 5' 8" 140lbs. I ordered a Medium. The straps seemed to be a little tight even when lengthened all the way. They seem to have stretched out after a few times worn. Overall, very comfortable.

It’s great to wear when working outside on our farm. I stay really warm and highly recommend them. The only change I would make is the buckles. They are really small and hard to buckle. It seems like larger buckle would be easier to use and would last longer.

The fit is perfect. I ordered a medium and can wear yoga pants or long underwear with plenty of room to spare. They are extremely warm.

Really very nice quality as expected from Carhartt. I bought them for my wife so she can hang out at the barn with us without “literally dying of frostbite”…<br /><br />I’ve worn Carhartt for over 20 years for durability and utility for outdoor work and indoor work in the manufacturing industry. This is apparently the one and only time I’ve been ahead of the fashion curve because it’s apparently a fashion brand now. I’m just happy the quality is as expected even if the prices have skyrocketed and the availability is lacking. They’re good bibs. They work like bibs are supposed to work and look good enough that my wife will wear them.

The carhartt store my husband and I shop at never have insulted bibs for women. I just happened to be skimming the clearance rack and stumbled upon these bibs. Navy blue, XS Short. I wasn’t sure they would fit and so I sized them with my eyes and thought I’ll take my chances. Perfect fit. I’m 5’2 and 125lbs. Short toros and longer legs. Warm, and quality made. I’m in love.

I got the size Small. I also got it in Short because the regular length was not available at the time. I am 5'5" and the short went right to the ankles. I would say the short is for people under 5'5" and that the regular would have fit a bit better. Nevertheless, this fit really well. Its comfortable, warm, and sturdy.

I ordered these in a small/tall. They’re warm and durable and have been great for the winter here so far for when I’m working outside. My only complaint is that they are a little too short for me, in the torso, even with the straps adjusted as long as they can go. I’m 5’9’ 125 lbs for reference.

I love thesepurchase very comfortable, and cozy for daily use. Nice and thick, but with good movement. We're getting regular 30-40f degree days, so ive been almost too warm at work. The body is a bit short for my preferences, but not in an inhibiting (to movement) way. Great product- would recommend.

My wife and I moved to N Idaho last spring. Well, the winters are pretty severe. My wife and I have been freezing our tails off! I got these for here and she loves them! They fit perfect and keep the chill at bay.

I had to order a few sizes at first to dial it in. I am 5'6 about 120lbs long of leg, short in the torso, I was between the small (regular) and the small (short) The regular was just a tad too long and I did not want to have to roll them up. The short was a better fit overall but I had to loosten the straps as far as they would go to not feel too constricted. Overall for my build I am happy that I went with the short.

I own a horse farm and wanted a stylish functional pair of winter overalls. After wearing these overalls, I love, the color (blue), fit- stylish and true to size (I ordered the small short and am 5'3" 110 lbs), great zipper and material quality, and warmth without the weight. However, I was a bit disappointed that they do not have the full zip front nor the ankle to hip zipper like the Weathered Duck Wildwood does. Trying to get my sorrel boots off or on while wearing these overalls is impossible! I bought these over the Wildwood or the Full Swing Cryder because of the insulated lining and the stylish look. The Wildwood is a bit frumpier due to the elastic waste. I also did not understand at purchase that the side leg zipper was so short. Can't you at least put in side zippers that are longer in this style? A front zipper would be great too! Maybe combine the best of the Wildwood and the Quilt Lined Duck! Thank you.

These are my favorite overalls from carhartt yet! The front zipper makes it easy to use the restroom with out having to unhook the straps and the elastic waist band makes sure no cold air blows through as you are moving and grooving! The snaps can be a little tough to snap at the hips at times but overall they are worth the investment.

I bought these to wear for outdoor gatherings during COVID lockdowns. I am on the cusp between small and medium and decided to order the small short. The overalls fit perfectly in the waist and legs but are slightly baggy in the top - I am short-waisted and have the bib straps as tight as they will go and it still is a bit saggy when I stand, but are perfect when seated. The pants are comfortable and warm and are fashionable enough to wear around town as well as functional for outdoor activities!

These overalls are warm and cosy - a perfect addition to my 'stay warm by the fire during COVID in IL' wardrobe.

I want to live in my lined Carhartt bibs all winter long. They are long in the leg for me but i expected that. The hardware for the buckles seems flimsier than the mens versions but i could be wrong

These are heavy duty, durable and will keep me warm on the farm all winter long. For reference, I’m 5’7” and weigh about 120lbs and bought an xs, perfect size for me. I love the front pocket too, perfect place to keep my phone out of the way but still accessible.

My bibs had a snap button break on the second wear. I am disappointed in my Carhartts.

I am 5'2 124lb and purchased the size med, short and they fit perfectly. I can even wear the with sweatpants under if needed. they are so warm. Perfect for doing chores out side during the winter or just sitting around the fire put during winter nights. My first pair of Carhartt anything and I am very satisfied.

Love these overalls. Got them for general outdoor winter wear and they don’t disappoint. For reference, I’m 5’6, approx 135 and the short medium fits great. Room enough to wear pants and a sweatshirt underneath without feeling like a sausage. I probably could have gotten the small, but I think they would’ve been too snug for layering. Nice and warm.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. As I’m only 5’1’’ I struggling finding pants that aren’t too long but the petite length is perfect! Going to keep me toasty warm in the winter on the dairy farm.

I am tall and slim - 5’11” and 130 lbs. The size small/tall fit me perfectly! So happy with these overalls. Bought a pair of mens’ size medium/tall for my son who is also tall and slim. Fit him perfectly too. Can’t wait for the cold weather now

I am 6ft.,150lbs and I got a 8/10 tall. I like the fit and weight. They fit me well, but the straps are 3 inches too short. I will need to have the straps altered. I know I have a very long torso, but I did order the tall.

I just moved home to Colorado and you ain't a true Coloradoan without a Carhart coat and overalls. They are the absolute best protection for the bitter winter wind and blowing snow.

I was very excited for these. I wear a women's size 16 pant (for reference: size 16 at Old Navy fits me like a glove), so I ordered a size XL of the quilt-lined duck bib overalls, advertised as fitting sizes 16-18. With only skintight, light leggins on, the XL only barely fit, without enough give in the thighs

I ordered a size Small and I am about 120lbs. I am 5'2" so I had to order them in short. They're still a little long but I don't have to roll them. I would say them seemed a little snug and the straps are somewhat tight and I had to loosen them up. However, I love these bibs. They are super warm and will be great for working outside this winter.

These are cozy and seem durable. That said, I am experiencing some of the same fit oddities other reviewers mentioned. I am 5'4"—not especially short!—and ordered the short version, and they are still 2–3" longer than I'd like. With lower-profile boots, I will have to cuff them, which isn't ideal since the material is so thick and I worry they'll collect snow. You can only shorten the straps so much before the crotch gets too high to be wearable. I would recommend Carhartt revisit the fit on these.

unfortunately these were not the ones my Granddaughter wanted so I had to return them. She wanted the black ones with no lining.

I'm 5'7" and 155lbs the medium fit great. The length in the leg works well even with my work boots on.

Christmas!! I absolutely love my Coveralls. It keeps me warm when working in 30° weather. Looks great with my carhartt jacket. It is easy to put on or take off over shoes. Love all the pockets and zippers. Definitely will order another one for christmas! Only downside is it is a little tight. I wear medium to large and I ordered a medium short. Length is just right as i am 5" 1" but it is a bit tight around my.sromach and waste. And I unfortunately didn't have time to exchange it and wait for a new one so I deal with it by leaving 1 side button undone.

Exceed my expectations

This is my 2nd pair. Great fit, very comfortable. Keeps me warm while working outside in Montana all winter. One pair lasted me 2 winters, wearing them 8 hours 5 days a week.

As soon as I got these delivered I tried them on, super comfortable and warm -- fit just right and will be great for New England winters!

Really nice! I am 5’5” , 160 lbs and a true size 14. Fairly straight framed. I ordered the extra large and short on the length. These are perfect. Very comfortable and allowed for full sitting and squatting without being confining. I wore fishing with wind 20 mph and they cut the wind completely. Several nice pockets in the front and the side and back pockets very roomy. Liked the front Individual pockets for glasses and cel phone. The quality and functionality reveals these will be an all purpose outdoor essential for years to come.

I’m normally a medium in everything I ordered the large after getting mediums and they were a little snug if you wanted to wear clothes under them. I absolutely love them! Great for hanging out with the dogs outside! Recommend for a warmer winter.

Been wearing men’s bibs all my life. Tried these and they fit a lady much better. I’m a fit 145 lbs for 5’7” and the medium regular bibs fit me well.

These are SO comfortable and warm!

These bibs are beautifully made, and I have been looking forward to wearing them since I ordered them. The quality appears great, and the fit is great from the hips down. HOWEVER, if you find yourself with a short torso, like myself, you will be sorely disappointed in the "adjustable" straps on the bibs. Cinched all the way, there was still at least 3-4" from the top of my shoulder to the underside of the strap. Not what I had in mind. Super disappointed. For the record, petite women don't tend to have long torsos....

I never owned a pair of bibs before and was really unsure. They are a super flattering fit! I'm 5'2 145 lbs and bought a medium short. They are a dream, everything hits in the right place . I sized up to fit some layers underneath and am glad I did because it was a little tight with layers. The side panels have stretch which I love because they are very discreet so even being 'tight' with layers it wasnt uncomfortable. As far as the length they are a tiny bit long but with just a pair of boots underneath they are perfect. So warm, such a good purchase!

I am 5’6 165 lbs and I bought the Large. I don’t have ‘extra’ room, although it does fit. I was considering exchanging for XL only because I was thinking I would wear these over my clothes for my winter farm chores. But I ended up keeping them and will just not wear major clothes underneath them. That being said, they are warm and I may not have ever wanted clothes under them anyway. Our winter hasn’t really gotten started yet here in TN. Exceptional quality and stretches where it should. I really do love them.

Used when clearing trees, splitting wood, etc. Can kneel on rocks without problem and trek through any terrain without getting scratched.<br /><br />When I dried them the overall hook bent but I was able to bend it back. I plan on air drying from here on out to avoid problems in the future.

I purchased these for the cold harvest days. They are very warm and I love all of the pockets. What I DON'T love, is the fact that they are too long. Like men, women come in different heights. I am 5'5" and I get annoyed tripping on them and the snaps are so tough I can't get them to snap. I wish there was a short version, then these would get 5 ? from me.

Comfortable bibs that fit as expected. I used the sizing guide to measure and it was accurate. I'm typically a 6 in pants, 5'5", 135lbs, and ordered a medium. It fits loose enough to wear clothes underneath but not baggy.

I’m a full time photographer in Wisconsin. Nine years into the business and I finally discovered these for fall shoots. Tonight I wore then at a 42° family session. Not only did they keep me perfectly warm and comfortable they held of great (of course) siting, kneeling and crawling through dirt and grass.

I'm 5'3" about 125. I got the xs/short. They've kept me warm working night shift as a greaser in Montana in the Fall, so I'd say they're pretty sturdy.

I was really excited about this pair of overalls. I followed Carhartt's recommended size guide, got a small, and it was enormous on me. Big enough that I won't even bother trying to size down, because I think even an extra small would still be very big. For reference, I'm about 5'4" and 115lbs. They seemed high quality and shipped very fast - it's a shame that Carhartt doesn't carry proper sizes for more petite individuals.

I'm 5'11" and slim and I have been hunting for bibs for years. The Medium Tall fits perfectly! I'm thrilled to finally have a pair that I can work through the winters in.

They fit great! I’m 5 foot which makes finding the right length hard sometimes. These fit perfect! I love the flex they have in the sides and looking forward to using them more!

after about an hour of reading reviews I knew I needed these overalls. im 5’1 155lbs with a larger butt and about a 36D up top. I was worried they were going to be too long and too tight. after consideration I went with a large short. and OMG do they fit perfect. A nice fit around the top and a nice fit around my butt and thighs with just enough room to put another layer. a touch long but I know with work boots theyll be fine.

Unfortunately being 4' 11" makes things hard to fit right. These come close but are too long on the leg and The adjustable straps are not really that adjustable so when I sit down the front comes up and presses on my neck causing some discomfort and an awkward appearance.

I used your size guide and they don’t fit. I have to send them back. But thank you for supplying the return label already.

I was really excited about these but I think the sizing is off. I ordered a large tall, and they were very tight around the hips/butt area. So much so that there’s no way I could even sit down or even put my hands in my pocket. I know it’s quilt lined but I think they should make them larger to accommodate the extra fabric inside. I have the Crawford double front bib overall in a large tall and they fit perfect but these were way too tight. I feel like if I went up a size, the legs would be way too big. I will however say that I thought they were made very well and were excellent quality, aside from the clasps. They should go back to the traditional ones.

I absolutely love these overalls but I do need to purchase my next pair in XS! I'm 5'2 and 125 lbs athletic build but I still need to get XS.

I have a long torso... So it was a very severe wedgy and Melvin status. I returned them. You can not adjust the straps to make them fit properly

5'7" 145lbs and I ordered a medium regular. Love them! I live in wyoming, so we have some pretty harsh winters, but these keep me toasty during chores and riding.

I’m 5’2” and 130lbs. I bought the small short and they are way too long and the shoulder straps are too big as well even at the tightest. The legs, butt and hips fit perfectly so I don’t want to go down another size for fear those will be too tight. My option is to cuff them about 4-5 inches at the bottom and get the shoulder straps hemmed... kind of annoying for $100 coveralls. I love the fabric and pockets, etc. I just wish the “short” option was actually for short women!

I love these overalls. They are warm and the quilted lining inside is comfortable. The elastic in the sides and straps is a nice design that I was skeptical of at first but it helps them fit more snuggly and make them easier to take off and put on. The pockets in the bib are great!

Exactly what I was looking for for construction/job site visits, especially in cold Michigan winters.

They fit my waist and bottom nicely. I ordered them in short length because I am only 5 feet and they are still long. The story of my life. When I climbe up on my plow it is fine.

Got for my daughter , she is 5'5 weight 130.. size small tall fit perfectly!! <br />She is a welder and has to be outside ,these have kept her warm. Very pleased ,highly recommend. <br />Note, they are more "fitted' in leg area, they are true to size, if need more room may wanna size up

They are super warm. I do like them. However, I am 5 foot 4 inches and I could have used the short length. I have a feeling they will be torn by the end of the winter on the bottom because they are dragging. I also think the length of the crotch is too long for a female. I got a small size with regular length. I would advise carrying an extra small size for women of normal weight and height.

I really like the overalls. I ordered a large regular because this is the size i usually get in clothes. The large was perfect but they were to long and with zippers at the bottom i could not hem them so I exchanged them for a large short and they are perfect.

Warm, comfortable, easy to move in

These are quilted nice weight to them, bottom half. The legs have openings on side for big rain boots. Crotch area perfect, not down to knees. The top half of bib only has about 2inches to tighten it up, with 2incbes and some space of stretchy elastic, the strap part is knew to me, it's a line u have to match it to the part of Coverall to turn them pull or twist it to (snap it in place). Not that hard to get on. It bulks at bottom by an inch or so, which is fine as I'm wearing combat boots with it. I am 5feet 5inches, weigh 180lbs, fit me perfectly that I am wearing tight leggings ( skinny ones not the thick ones) under it. Does make some sound when walking but that's fine. I got these for construction cuz its cold and I rather dirty these up then my jeans... Definitely recommend for outdoor wear. I have athletic build with some belly and it fit perfectly. Love them definitely worth the price I paid for! Was not disappointed. Would not recommend these for everyday wear like going.to a mall. But would recommend for riding horses, dirtbikes, quads, or working in farm or construction work outside in cold. You should wear long sleeve undershirt as these are not to be worn without some type of t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Love it!!

I have 2 other styles of Carhartt overalls (1 lined, 1 unlined). I had to return these because I cinched the straps to their max and they still were too loose. It was strange because I've never had this issue with other Carhartt overalls with similar styles. Too bad, because these would be perfect for cold weather! For the record, I am 115lb, 5'2'' and ordered the XS short.

These fit my daughter perfect. She is 5'8" with long legs. She struggles with length sometimes but these were long enough for her. She loves them.

With the proper layering underneath, these have kept me cozy working out on a Great Lakes Freighter at -9 degrees! I prefer these immensely over the Cryder Bibs and at 2/3 the cost of those that makes these all the better. The top is a little loose but that leaves lots of room for layers. The straps take a little adjusting to get the right tension to keep them from sliding off you shoulders. I love the zipper top pocket!

These bibs are wonderful. They keep you very warm but not too warm to be overheated. I work in a warehouse and specifically bought them for that reason. I wore them once so far and could not be happier with them. I’m only 5’2” and love the fact that they offer them for the petite person. These are super comfortable with lots of pockets. Purchased for a gift. Typical well made, cozy warm Carhartt bibs! There’s nothing that compares in our outdoorsy family. We all have them now!

The bibs were NOT short as advertised!! I am five feet tall and they were at least 4 inches too long. Cuffing them up is not an option because the cuffs get full of hay. No matter how much I tried to adjust the length by tightening the bibs up at the shoulder strap they were still too long. Also, they did not seem as warm as other bibs I own. Still, if it weren't for the poor sizing, I would have kept them. I returned them by UPS

too long, sides come down too low, weird elastic on the sides. i will be returning these.

I was disappointed that the bib overalls didn't fit. I used the size guide but, it didn't quite translate to my small frame. I'm still looking for something to keep me warm while caring for my horse during Ohio winters. The customer service was terrific!

Love it but it's way too long for me! I'm 5'2" so not surprising, but not sure how easy it will be to get it hemmed cause it's so thick at the bottom. I'll give it a shot because otherwise it seems like really great quality and fits everywhere else.

I like my coveralls the purpose of me buying them was to keep warm they have served that purpose maybe just a little bit too pricey but I like them because they keep me warm

I am 5'5" and 125 pounds. I got the extra short extra small in black and they fit excellently. I sized down because I wanted to be able to wear them without another pair of pants under them if I wanted to. They are really comfortable to wear alone, but I also have plenty of space for long underwear or leggings under if it's really cold. The straps are elastic in the back so it doesn't stress my shoulders out when a bend down. The zipper pocket in the front is awesome, enough room for my phone my wallet and maybe even some snacks. I've gotten many compliments on them already. The quality is also very good, durable and warm. The price is worth the quality. I would definitely recommend these to anybody looking for a warm pair of comfortable and stylish pants for the winter time.

They are nice and warm. However, a curvy fit option would be fantastic. The legs and thighs are spot on, but the top of the bib is VERY loose and I've maxed out the straps to cinch them up. Still too loose. Thankfully the top part is hidden in my coat.

These are epic. They're my first item ever purchased from Carhartt and I'm thrilled. I bought them to keep warm when riding my motorcycle in the winter, as suggested by a friend. They are crazy warm, crazy comfortable, and legit stylish. I thought they'd fit like men's but they're tailored to fit a woman's body and look so cute on. Totally obsessed - I just bought two more pairs!
