This jacket fits big. It is definitely meant to be worn as an outer jacket and not as a flannel.
Debated between ordering the Large or Large tall. Glad I went with the regular Large. It was slightly big when it arrived, but shrank a small amount after washing and drying and now fits perfectly. Bonus- my wife thinks I look hot in it.
Comfortable, durable, and warm. This jacket is awesome and good for any outdoor activities. Love the plaid color as well. Highly recommend.
I like the style and comfort
I have two of these flannel shirt jackets. I love this jacket its not heavy and it keeps you warm for those mild winters. I hope the release more colors, I would definitely buy another one.

Jacket is warm and not to long
The shirt Jac is awesome, sleeve length and over all length is perfect. Jac is just a little wide, can put a sweatshirt underneath with no problem. Might shrink a little with washing but have not washed yet. Love the warmth.
warm and fits well above the waist but way to long. i bought a medium but it fits like a large length wise...common problem with carhartt.
I am 6’1” 185 and a large usually fits me snug but comfortable. This large felt like it was made for someone 6’5 275. <br />The color did not look the same when I got it either. <br />RETURN

Great jacket! My husband is practically living in it! Utility snaps are easy and look nice. Pockets functional. Lining plush. Weave nice. BUT.....sizes run large so order a size down from normal. I got him a medium last year. It was HUGE. Then there were no smalls to be had....for a whole year! I have waited a year to be able to order another one in the correct size, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, perfect!

I feel like everyone should own something similar to this jacket. Carhartt really brings durability into the game of warmth and most importantly - functionality. This isn't stiff and its ready to go as soon as it gets to you. Put it on, get to what you have to get it, and be warm doing it.

Great sherpa flannel. Keeps you very warm but it does run very large. I’m a size medium in everything but I went with a small and it didn’t fit right until I washed it and threw it in the dryer. Still a great purchase!
then buy it. This shirt-jac is warm, fits well, I love it. My wife makes me give it up for washing periodically but other than that, she knows where to find it - on me. You will love it.
Great value for the money
My favorite part of winter is putting on my Carhartt Sherpa-Lined Hubbard Jacket. I have 2 and I bought another for my dad because I love him and he needs to stay warm in the winter too. The size issues that some of the other reviewers have don't make much sense to me. The insides of the sleeves are slick nylon quilted so your shirt sleeves don't get pulled up. I wear mine with a hoodie when we get down the the negative temps in Jan-Feb and I'm warm. Thanks Carhartt for making good stuff.

Very warm can be worn all winter long I wear a long sleeve underneath it when it gets below 0 otherwise just a short sleeve it runs large so get a size smaller
Great heavy duty jac-shirt!! It’s perfect for the cool fall winter and I am planning to wear it throughout winter. I have no reservations recommending it to those who work or enjoy being in the cool fall/winter weather. I am 5”10, 215 and it fits me well. 5/5??
I love Carhartt and literally wear everything Carhartt but I'm definitely disapointed by how large this runs. Most of my Jackets I buy from here I get in Medium which fit great. After reading the reviews about people saying this runs very large I decided to risk it and pick a small expecting it to be a little small and it is the opposite this thing is massive I will sadly have to return it and very bummed because there is no smaller size :(
Great looking jacket, a little thicker than I expected but it’s warm. Fits good. Use it for both work and going out and it excels in both. Been getting plenty of compliments on it

Well made. Thick and heavy. They do run big , so I have to wash my jacket in hot water but it shrunk perfectly.

I'm a medium in every other brand I buy, and fit is not a problem. I'm 5'10 and 170lbs. This Jacket runs very large in my opinion. I have sent it back. Disappointed.
