I have 2 of these shirts both heather colors. I LOVE them. The heather colors are 60/40 cotton/poly so they are more flexible and fit better. My husband and I own a VERY busy diesel repair shop. These shirts are EXCEPTIONAL quality women's workwear at an affordable price. So comfortable and stylish and they wash and wear WELL. I like having so many colors and the different fabric options to choose from. If you wear a small/medium go with the medium. If you wear a medium/large go with the large. And so on. Thank you Carhartt for including working women in your clothing line.
True to size very comfortable no complaints.
After 2 years of wearing these shirts during the Fall/Winter the graphic on the arm is starting to wear off. These shirts are not worn through though like other long sleeve shirts I have had in the past that wear out in a season.

This is a great long sleeved T, very comfortable to wear. The cotton is thick and soft. The shirt looks good as new after laundering. It’s perfect for autumn and winter weather.
Works great out in the barn! If your a Full Figured Woman maybe go up a size or so, depending on how tight you like things.. I bought a XL and it's Tight across the shoulders and sides of the Bust.. <br />The fabric is truly heavy, so for cold natured people it's Wonderful! Anyone else might get hot easily. Overall a really nice shirt in a cute Color

My husband has several Carhart T-shirts, they fit exact as teh chart lists and the quality of the knit fabric is outstanding so he ordered a womens shirt for me. The fit is great, I am 5'8" 118lbs. and bought the xsmall. the fit is very good but the quality of the fabric is far less them the men's shirts. It is lighter weight and does not wash and dry as well as the men's. Women need the same weighted fabric as in the men's. The work hard and deserve the same quality. I would suggest women purchase the men's t-shirts unless you like the lighter weight fabric.

I liked the color and the fit of the body of the shirt. But the fabric was a bit on the coarse side and the sleeves are pretty tight, from the shoulder to the wrist. I assume it will be durable because the fabric is heavy. But it’s not very loose fitting at all.

It's a little heavier that I expected. Quality is good but fit is a tighter that I anticipated also. I normally wear a Medium and thought loose fit would be much looser, more like a sweatshirt than a t shirt. Overall, I liked it but the fit just isn't there for me.

I like the fit. The reason for the 4 stars is because though marketed as all cotton, it is polyester and cotton. Therefore it is not as soft and my very sensitive skin gets itchy from it.

This was my first Carhartt shirt and it won't be my last! It's so well made and I like the fit. the only issue is the cuffs are pretty snug so that I can only push up my sleeves to midway between wrist and elbow. But otherwise, LOVE the shirt and will probably be getting more.

These are the best long sleeve t-shirts. The cotton is thick and durable. They hold up well in the wash and I didn't notice any shrinkage. Whereas I generally wear a size medium in women's tops, I bought these in size large and they fit great, so I suggest considering going up one size when ordering. The color selection is great. I love the ash rose; it's one of my favorites.

It is thicker than I expected (I thought it’d be more t-shirt like) but I really like it. It’s warm. Only thing is I wish I woulda gotta a clear. I’m 5’6, 190 and chesty…since it isn’t a flowy material I shoulda sized up but again, overall I like the shirt and wear it often
I really like my shirt now that I got it. the first order I got was a stocking hat!! there was NO order form in the package to return it, I called customer care and still do not have a return tag from usps like I was told I would get, not sure how to return the hat since there was no order form with it.

I love the look of this shirt but it fits weird. The sleeves are too short. It's not very comfortable to me. I wish the sizing was better. Even my husband hates how it's changed. He won't buy another sweatshirt due to how bizarre the fit is. Nice colors but I couldn't try them on of course, and figured they'd fit for sure, I basically wasted my money for short sleeves. It fits like a plus size shirt really, as it makes me look heavier, short arms and short shirt but wide. Won't buy another.

I love these shirts, but it is super annoying that some of them are 100% cotton and some are not. I bought 3 more of them because I liked the first one I got so much. (Not 100% cotton) Got them home, washed them like I normally do, only to find out they are now too small because the ones I ordered were 100% Cotton. I have been to very store I know of that sells them and look for the ones that are part polyester, and they are hard to find. Just make them all the same for Pete sake!

Leaving this review to help others with sizing. I’m 5’7” and 125lbs. If you wash and dry your work clothes like work clothes and not like a special silk gown, this shirt is going to shrink a bunch. If you have a physical job where you reach and bend a lot, I would suggest you size up two sizes from what you normally wear. I usually wear a medium, and after using my medium shirts a few times they shrunk so much I couldn’t move in them. I reordered in size extra large, and these seem like they are going to work out fine. The material is a medium thickness, and not soft but not scratchy either.

Unfortunately the loose fit was sent and it is pretty baggy and the sleeves are longer than the regular XL. Knowing that the regular fit, I washed them before realizing they weren’t the same as my other shirts, so now I can’t send them back. Otherwise, I love these shirts

I have been buying these since they have been making them. I absolutely love them! They are great quality and in the past couple of year have been offered I’m more colors then when the first came out. There are only two complaints I have 1 I have to order a size up from previous years and they aren’t offering very many colors in 100% cotton. The Heather colors seem to pill. I bought two this year with more cotton content in them then the ones of previous years so we will see if they pull as badly. But all in all I love these shirts.

I was optimistic about ordering a medium as my husband has always had to downsize but the sizing was perfect. Looser fitting but would definitely agree it’s true to size. I have purchased 2 of these shirts. I washed the first one and the yellow dye looked like it had been bleached after I washed it. I purchased another one and cleaned my washer before washing the shirt, but it did the same thing. Not very happy with the quality of the dye used in the fabric on these t shirts....

The shirt is black but it looks faded like it’s been washed a few times. The way the shirt fits it isn’t well fitted everywhere it just feels off the way the shirt sits when It’s worn.
perfect for me
I am 5'4" and around 140lbs. The shoulders fit perfectly, the sleeves are the perfect length (maybe a HAIR long, but I have shorter arms). Length is perfect - long enough that it doesn't ride or scoot up, but not so long that it becomes cumbersome. I HATE when collars touch my neck, and I find this shirt comfortable. The neck isn't tight at all, but is high enough that I don't need to worry about getting debris down it. The fabric is thick enough that hay and alfalfa can't poke through, but it isn't overwhelming hot (I can wear it on 90 degree days and not die). The color is true to what you see on the website (I got the graystone heather). Long story boring, I am stoked on this shirt and I am a tough person to please.

It’s very large for an xs
I love this shirt. The material is thick without being heavy. The cuffs are comfortably snug and kept out all the sawdust that sticks to my skin like tiny slivers. Only issue I had was it's a little too short for me. It works well enough, but because of that I won't be ordering more. I'm 5'8" 185lbs. Usually wear a L in shirts.

Shirt fits great. ordered an xs, I'm 5 foot even. it's a little long but I usually tuck work shirts in anyway, so I don't mind as it stays tucked with the little extra length. Carhartt logo on the sleeve is clean looking and has stayed bold through a few washes so far. only complaint is the fabric is a bit stiff and not very soft, but it's a work short afterall, not a pajama shirt so I don't mind too much. would buy again, has become one of my go to long sleeves for cold days to wear under many other layers.

Typically I wear a medium so naturally, I ordered a medium. But as soon as they arrived I saw the label that said M 8/10 I immediately knew they were too big.<br />I searched high and low for a good reference for the size but all I found was a question about the model and what size she was wearing. But no mention of her height.<br />I am 5’6 125 pounds.<br />I think the material will be great!! I love how durable they seem. And longer too. I’m not tall by many standards but these seem to offer so good length. <br />Just bummed I have to pay to return these because of a lack of info and the color I loved is out of stock.

Runs big.<br />I’m 5’6 125. Typically a small is too short on me. So I size up to medium. This was a bit oversized on me. I suspect a small will be perfect. Also I would have liked to have seen that they size medium as an 8/10. When I opened the package on the label it said medium 8/10 so I immediately knew the size wouldn’t work. I would have ordered small had I seen that. Also in The question section someone asked what size the model was wearing, the answer was small but her hight was not mentioned. That would have been helpful. Bummed the color I wanted is out of stock now.<br />BUT that’s just initial ordering issues, the quality is great!! I can wait to get the right size I know I’ll love them. The thicker quality out is really nice!

Unlike other reviewers, this shirt runs small. It fits a bit snug across the bust and I am afraid with any washing a slight shrinkage it will get tighter. I wear a small consistently with all other carhartt shirts except the Henley, it also runs small in the bust. 5'2 140lbs I will go up to a medium and return the small

I love this shirt, it looks great on. I just hope it won't shrink. I love Carhartt but one thing is their sizing is very inconsistent. I own A LOT of Carhartt and I'm almost always an XL but sometimes XL is way too big, sometimes it's too small. I have some Carhartt items in Large and 2XL for this reason. In this case these shirts run a little snug for me. Besides that, very comfy, durable, cute shirts.

I’d already tried and purchased four of the ladies hooded sweatshirts and thought I’d give this workwear long sleeve shirt a try. The shirt isn’t soft like I thought it would be. It’s a cotton poly blend but it feels like sandpaper. The colors aren’t that exciting either. The hoodie fits forgivingly but this top was a bit snug

Super comfy and good quality cotton. Not that thin see through material a lot of womens' shirts are made of. The only thing negative I can think of is that it doesn't have a chest pocket like my other long sleeve work shirts. I love a good chest pocket.
This shirt is great! It runs true to size, the fit is perfect. It is so comfortable, whether you wear it for a day at work, or wear it for a day at home. Overall, I love this shirt.
This shirt looks nice, but the fabric was a little too rough for my sensitive red-head skin.

Carhartt is by far my favorite brand to wear for anything outdoors. Can’t beat the quality and always comfortable. I do wish there were more woman’s options when it comes to pants.

Paired it with the Sherpa lined vest and I love it. It is soft, but still structured enough to lay properly for a t shirt. I would buy more if they did different colors beside ones that had pink on them.
I love all things Carhartt! However this shirts has seams that are kind of scratchy. Even after washing it was still that way. I have sensitive skin and notice more than the average person. I like everything about it but the seams.
I bought one to make sure it fit etc, loved it so bought 2 more! It is true to size.

I am sorry but I bought the shirts for a granddaughter for her birthday which is Nov. 7. However, I can tell you that she has worn this type shirt for hr work attire for a long time and likes them. That is the reason I bought this particular brand and shirt.
It runs a little big (I'm 5'2'' at 103 pounds) and ordered an XS. It feels a little big but I do not care. The quality of this cotton is outstanding, not like other brands or similar shirts that you can get these days. I will definitely be ordering more.

I like the T-shirts they fit well , pretty true to size I like the weight of them they're not real heavy they're not real stiff and they're not real thin, my only complaint would be there very long for a woman. More color availability would be nice.
This shirt is so cute and durable for work. It is more of an original fit so its a bit looser. I went with a medium, when i usually take a large and it fits perfect! Perfect for the fall weather, especially cute under a vest!!!

I went with the Burlwood color. Love it!! I chose a size small, the fit is very comfortable. It is a relaxed fitting shirt, I will definitely have enough room for a t-shirt underneath also, without it looking to sloppy. The Carhartt logo on the sleeve is awesome. All around a great shirt.
I love this long sleeve! Im 5'6 140 and ordered a medium. Its nice and roomy, plus long enough to cover my back when bending over.

Both heavy duty and comfortable, not at all restrictive.
Definitely would recommend this top, it’s comfrotable and an easy wear. It isn’t too baggy or too tight, it leaves the perfect range of motion for any work you may be doing.

I have 2 of these shirts both heather colors. I LOVE them. The heather colors are 60/40 cotton/poly so they are more flexible and fit better. My husband and I own a VERY busy diesel repair shop. These shirts are EXCEPTIONAL quality women's workwear at an affordable price. So comfortable and stylish and they wash and wear WELL. I like having so many colors and the different fabric options to choose from. If you wear a small/medium go with the medium. If you wear a medium/large go with the large. And so on.
