I bought this as a gift for my seventeen year old niece for her birthday and she loves it!

I’m a full carhartt convert after trying their women’s plus sweatshirts. This is my favorite. Just got delivered, tried on and instantly came here to buy the rest of the colors. More relaxed fit in waist and hip area than the hoodie with logo sleeve (for me) which is great because I want to layer a shirt underneath. Carhartt makes sweatshirts for plus size women that look good. They are actually warm instead of paying the same price for an athletic brand sweatshirt that is little more than a heavy t-shirt.

The sweatshirt is of very high quality. It however, is not true sized, it should be noted in your ad that is runs small.

For me, its the perfect sweat jacket. Very happy with it.

When most companies recommend a size, what I get is either super tight across the chest or they're way too baggy. I went with the recommendation on this site and I LOVE this hoodie. Bought this for my wife as she has always loved the Carhartt hoodies. She wears what you call plus sizes and has always opted for a men's hoodie that's bigger than what she really needs. Even the fit guide said she would only need a 2x but we opted for the 3x for her. She loves it. It's comfortable, long enough, and she feels covered which is everything to her. She's a very conservative woman and feeling like she's not going to show anything as she bends and twists is very important to her. Thank you Carhartt for giving her a boost in confidence.

Bought this for my wife, she loves the comfort of it, the only thing she did not like about it was the inside fabric of the sweatshirt, because it sheds all over with friction and sticks to her garments.

VERY comfortable! A little big for me but I still like it. I will definitely size down next time. I was thinking it would be like their jackets with the arm length situation but it does run big with the one.

I love my Carhartt sweatshirt jacket!! I’m 5’3” and 115 lbs. and got an XS. (Orange) It fits great. Enough room for a long sleeve under it and fitted enough to put a vest over it. I love the quality of carhartt. Not having to worry about the sewing. Always straight zipper that works great. Well worth the cost as I will be enjoying this jacket for a long time.

This is a great sweatshirt, the fabric is substantial and it’s very well made. I think the orange/pink color is fun and vibrant. The pockets are the right size for me too. It fits true to size.

I bought this hoddie on a whim in support of the American Company Carhartt. It's beautiful, and so well-made. I was just expecting a hoodie, but this is really nice. Basic design with nice, heavy fabric, beautiful color, roomy, great movement due to how the sleeves are attached, excellent sewing. I will be shopping here more.

This is or should I say WAS my most favorite hoodie ever. I have to give it 3 stars though because the zipper pull broke off in the dryer (it did NOT get stuck in the door and was not attached to any other clothing). I am so upset. It's useless to me now. It was so warm I wore it all the time. Now, I guess it will be like a pajama jacket. Sad and disappointed.

This is a warm, comfortable sweatshirt. The zipper is the Rolls Royce of zippers. Easy to connect, slides effortlessly. With my Carhartt sweatshirt and hoodie, Im ready for a walk in crisp weather.

I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a zip up hoodie, however, it was definitely worth it. The fit is perfect- long enough sleeves with just enough shape that I don't feel like a box but can still layer underneath. I have recommended to multiple friends and family members.

So happy i ordered this in Black Small in time because now it's sold out! It's the best hoodie i've ever had, super cozy, super breathable, best actual hood which doesn't squish my head or feel like it's tugging... my only complaint is that there aren't any sweatpants or joggers to match!!! For reference, I'm 5'9" and 125 lbs, usually wear a 4 or 6. I ordered a small and it fits perfect, roomy and great for layering but not at all bulky.

Not that the quality itself is bad - I just prefer the men's version of their cuffs on the sleeves better. These on the womans are too "loose" and have to many ridges on the cuff.

I got a medium. I’m 5’4”, 130lbs. It’s a relaxed fit but the arms are a little short and tighter then I would have expected but still works for me. The length does not cover the bum. The quality is excellent and it should withstand many washings.

These hoodies are so warm and well-made, I ordered a second one. They are definitely baggy--I would like to see carhartt make fitted sweatshirts (and t-shirts!) for women. 5'5" /130 and I bought the S. Probably could have ordered XS but I worried the sleeves would be short. But I overall they're cozy

I absolutely love this sweater. It's sturdy, soft and the zipper works great! I spent most of my adult life buying cheap clothes because I didn't think I could afford the Carhart clothes. Then I realized that if you buy better quality clothes, they last longer and you spend less money overall having to replace the cheap clothes.

I now have this hoodie in two colors. I loved the first one so much I bought the second. The fit is perfect for layering, it is warm, and the quality is good. I love that horse hair and dirt don’t stick like glue to the fabric.

I'm 5'5", petite, 100lbs. The size chart showed that I should order a small, but it was way too large when it came in. I returned it and ordered an extra small and that fits perfect. The sleeves end right above my thumbs, the jacket settles right below my hip-dips, and the hood is roomy enough to still be able to have a ponytail when it's up. Feels high quality. Looks high quality. Only time will tell for sure, but I think this was a great investment.

It's a little large-ish. I usually wear a small or medium in other clothes and this is XS and could be a little tighter. But I do like it a lot. I especially love the thickness and I got the medium weight. I would have guess this is the heavy weight so I'd be curious to see just how thick the heavy weight sweatshirts are.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I ORDERED ANOTHER IN A DIFFERENT COLOR. THE COMFORT WAS WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED.

Everything about this sweatshirt, the quality, color, fit, price is great. I especially love the 3 panel hood that fits comfortably over my head and doesn't create an awkward triangular peak at the top.

I love my zip hoodie! I purchased XS in fudge heather which is a very pretty plum color. I am 4'11" and 100 lbs and usually wear a small petite but ordered the XS based on the other reviews, and it's a perfect fit (not tight, roomy enough for a light sweater underneath). The fabric is very soft and comfortable, nice weight and good quality. The zipper is also good quality, not cheap. The pockets are large and deep - very nice. I find myself wearing this hoodie more than my favorite running jackets or other hoodies.

Best zip hoodie ever.

Great fit, I normally wear an extra small but often times have to size up to a small to be able to wear jackets like this over other shirts. I stuck with the extra small and can comfortably wear this over top of another sweater when needed.

This a very well constructed hoodie. I have two in women’s large but this time it said to buy an XL. So it’s a tad bit roomier than I would want but the large was a tad bit smaller. So all in all, for staying at home wear, it works!

I bought a full zip hoodie and loved it so much I bought another in a different color. The fabric is heavyweight with good quality stitching, so my hope is that it holds up to wear and tear. It's definitely warm and I love the higher zip collar on it that helps keep the wind and cold out. It does seem to run a little big. I bought a small and can fit a thicker long sleeve t-shirt under it.

The jacket itself is wonderful. Well made and warm. My only issue is that in buying a woman's jacket it rides short and I am not a small woman so if I lift my arms the bottom of the jacket rides up too high and is not comfortable. I will buy in a man's size next time as the are longer in the torso.

I have a sweatshirt that cost me a few hundred dollars. and this one is as good of quality if not better. The material is nice and sturdy, the lining is super soft so it's really comfortable. It's also very warm (as a Minnesotan, it's hard to find sweatshirts that actually can keep you warm). The price point is amazing as well. If you're looking for a good, basic sweatshirt that will last you forever, this is it!

The arms seems too narrow or tight for me. I like a little wiggle room. It’s fine without wearing a long sleeve t shirt. Wish the arms had a little more room. Got xx large thinking I would have mote room. Otherwise it’s great.

This was a gift for mother-in-law and was exactly what she had been wanting - a heavy, warm, soft sweatshirt that zips up and has a hood. She was thrilled, but has on,y had it for a short time, so can’t really report on durability or anything else. But it was exactly as described and she loves the gray color as well, so I am very pleased.

This hoodie is the high quality expected from carhartt, but the sleeves are so tight that it’s hard to wear anything under it except a sleeveless garment. My usual medium size worked everywhere else except sleeve roominess.

This is my new fave hoodie. The gull gray heather is definitely a very gray lavender and I love it. The hoodie is a nice medium/heavy weight - great in fall on it's own, or in winter with other layers. It's very durable and well made. I'm probably going to get a couple other colors too.

I was torn between ordering a medium and a large. I went with the medium since other reviewers said they run big. I am satisfied with the fit. For reference I am 5’5” 150lbs. It does not fit tight but it’s not loose either. If you want some additional room for layering I would size up!

I love everything about these hoodies. They're soft and warm inside (They can carry me through from October to December in Kansas). They fit true to size, or maybe a tiny bit loose (which is perfect, because it helps mobility and I can layer them with sweaters in winter). I already have 3, and I"m looking to buy more because the colors are great too.

I'm 5ft and 145lbs the sleeves are nice and long but kept in place with the cuff as to not hang down past my hand. The length is nice with standing or sitting the back didn't ride up so my lower back wasn't exposed. This zips all the way up to the top of your neck. The hood is plenty big enough to cover your head down to your forehead but not in the way. Very soft, very nice quality. The material seems nice and thick. This is snug fit if you want something more loose I would say get a size S. Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect fit I’m about 5’5 and 150 pounds small fit perfect!

I was shopping around for a gift for a hardworking friend and came across this hoodie. I ordered a size down for her since she likes a snug fit. She is normally a medium but reading other reviews convinced me to get a small. Glad I did as this her preferred fit. The color was Fudge Heather but it’s more of a deep burgundy.

This is my second Clarksburg Full-zip Hoodie. I love these for the weight, warmth, quality and fit. I have purchased other sweat hoodies from other companies but I love these for the warmth and weight. I appreciate the colors they come in and will probably get another one this Fall. Also the price is reasonable for such a good hoodie.

It's so soft and perfect for what I needed jr for (a plain black hoodie for work) it's easy to clean and lint roll pet hair off of.... might have been wearing it on cold nights at home as well. Honestly might buy another color down the line because of how well the seams lay on my shoulders- and I even sized up for my bulky work shirts! Yet it's still perfect.

Super Soft and warm! I love it!

This is a very well made sweat shirt. Sturdy, easy to use zipper. About half cotton/half polyester means it washes up well. I dry it on low about 10 minutes then hang on a hanger; no wrinkles this way. Love the gull grey color. I highly recommend!

It’s is very nice jacket. Very will made. I should of ordered a size smaller. But I can wear it over several layers for cold football nites in stadium if we even have football games this year. I’m very pleased with the product. And highly recommend this jacket. You never know what size. To really order unless you actually try it on. Because not all sizes are the same at every store.

It fits perfect everywhere but the bottom. It seems a bit short in my opinion, but I typically like a longer sweater. It stops right at the waist line. It is super comfortable and soft.

Love the thickness of this jacket. The quality is good too. It’s a longer jacket than the style you came out with before. The color is feminine and a good overall jacket to have.

I’m 5’10” and busty this hoodie fits me well and I only got a size L. I normally get XL but the personal sizing chart on Carhartt said that would be best. I love it! Fits perfectly snug. Even fits my long arms. The zipper is probably my favorite part. Most girl jackets have a small flimsy zipper. This one is durable.

Whelp..it's a hoodie. I can appreciate the durability of Carhartt (though women's Carhartt doesn't seem to have the same durability as men's).<br />I can also appreciate the fact that there's an option for black, which again, isn't always the case with women's Carhartt. <br /><br />Also, be aware to the shorter gals like me (5'3") that this is a longer hoodie. Covers my butt. So if you like that, you'll like this. I also got the xs and I'm approximately 125 lbs and it still fits slightly loose.

This is the highest quality and one of the softest and best-fitting sweatshirts I have ever owned. I can't get over this sweatshirt. I love the heavy-duty zipper and higher neck. The fit is just right. I have paid 4x as much for similar designer sweatshirts that don't even come close to the quality or comfort of this sweatshirt. I bought the navy and plan to get a few more colors.

I purchased these for all my close girlfriends - in all different colors - and they were a hit. I also ordered my sister a replacement because she's been wearing the same one for 3 years. It got a lot of wear but she says, other than a little fraying at the cuffs, it's still in great condition. Very versatile.

I searched for this sweatshirt! This sweatshirt has two seams on the back of the hood which allows it to lay flat against the back when not pulled over the head. Also, the neck is sewn so it comes comfortably up against your neck. You don’t get these features in most sweatshirts. Add to that the pockets that are deep and just at the correct angle to insert your hands. Plus the heavy wonderful fabric! I want one in every color! Thanks Carharrt!!

LOVE this hoodie! It is perfect in almost every way for work and casual wear. I will say that the cuffs are a big long so I fold them, and that a notch of fabric at the top when fully zipped (to keep the zipper off your chin) would be a very welcomed addition. I beat the heck out of mine and so far stains have come out easily and it keeps me quite warm while giving me coverage and freedom of movement. Awesome fit too.

I give this hoodie a almost perfect 5. I gave it a 4 for quality , not that there is any poor workmanship, just the weight is lighter than I expected. It's really a sign of the times, that garments are made with less material to save on production costs, so nothing specifically wrong with Carhardt's brand itself. Heavy weight garments are so overpriced. However, that being said, this hoodie is very soft and will work well when layered with other garments.

I got the Clarksburg Full Zip Hoodie and right out of the package I loved it . I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it is very true to size and the material is very durable but still felt soft against your skin .

This has been one of the best and most used items I own. It is so soft and comfortable. If you think you know what comfort is, then you really need to try this!

I love this sweatshirt. It’s warm and cozy...I can dress down at work once a week and it’s always cold in there, but I can be comfortable with a light short sleeve T-shirt on under this. This really is a great sweatshirt. The material is nice and thick, the sleeves are a perfect length, and it's warm without being too hot. I originally purchased the navy, but just placed an order for the brown and gray, too!

This is probably one of the most comfortable and well-fitting hoodies I have ever owned. Warm and soft, it moves with me without bunching up at the waist. True to size, I didn't have to size up the way I do with other companies to get a good fit. It holds up great to the washer and dryer too! Tough enough to stand up to my 85lb dog jumping up on me, but soft and comfy enough to wear just for warmth. The color is nice, too.

I got this jacket about a month ago and Emma totally in love with it the quality on the fabric is amazing and very comfortable and the fit is amazing sometimes it can be hard for me to find comfortable jackets with having a larger chest but this jacket fits great. The extended zipper add so much to the jacket and it is great for helping keep my neck warm on colder days. I will definitely be looking into getting another one of these jackets. I wear this jacket everywhere from feeding the animals to going out and even camping this has definitely become my everyday go to jacket. So far it has held up to everything I have put it through and washes great which is definitely something I do need my crazy lifestyle you never know what I'm going to be doing next and my clothes need to be able to handle whatever I'm going to be doing. And this jacket definitely holds up to that test.

Perfect for taking the dog out on windy mornings. It's warm and soft. Fits loosely enough to go cover even when I'm wearing a sweater over my shirt.

The hoodie kept up with all my expectations and more. I wore it every day for two weeks. With all the different weather (it being Ohio and all) it wasn’t too heavy when it was warm, it kept you comfortable when it was chilly and kept you warm when it was cold. I used it while shoveling and didn’t get one chill. After washing, the color didn’t run do it’s still the rich color it wasn’t when I got it and none of the stitching came loose. It also didn’t shrink when put through the dryer. <br />Overall, this product is phenomenal and I advise people to get one for the winter!

We had a some cold weather come through in the 20s. This hoodie kept me warm when I have to work in the freezer for a few hours this is nice and warm to have on. Honestly I thought it was the female counter part of the heavy duty men's jacket. I was a little disappointed at first. But this is still a great hoodie. The hood is big enough for a bun even if you have a beanie over it. The zipper goes high enough to cover a scarf. I do recommend wearing a long sleeve underneath.

I love my new hoodie and have been wearing it everyday since I got it. It fits true to size and is very comfortable. I am able to move freely in it which is great when I am outdoors doing work for others or doing yardwork at my own home. I like that it has a strong zipper and is made with heavyweight fleece. We have recently had some really cold days and this has kept me warm. The pockets in the front are the perfect size to keep your keys or cellphone in and not to mention a great place to keep your hands warm. Normally I get nervous when washing hoodies/jackets because I'm afraid they won't stay the same but after washing this a couple of times I feel better about it. It was easy to wash (I hung it up to dry) and nothing bad happened to it so I'm pretty happy about that! I like this hoodie so much I just may have to get another one.

I LOVE THIS SWEATSHIRT! I ordered this as a base layer for cooler temps and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s super warm and comfortable, the pockets fit my phone and other small items perfectly. The ONLY thing I would improve is the cut of the hood/neck area. It’s a little awkward when it’s not zipped all the way up, but not super noticeable when I’m wearing it under a leather jacket, etc. I expect to get a lot of good use from this sweatshirt, I can tell it’s good quality.

This is a great hoodie. The fabric is heavy, soft, and has a comfy fit. My only issue is that the metal zipper is rough from the inside, and scratches my chin when I zip it up all the way. I wish there was some sort of protective coating or fabric to prevent this. I find I can't work with this fully zipped up for this reason.

I am very hard on jackets but love this one. The zipper outlast the actual piece of material. Way better zipper then my Carhartt sport and play coat. In fact I am very sad about my coat as the zipper is so hard to get up I freeze in the winter so wear this jacket under my coat since it won't zip up.

Heavy hoodie, small fit me perfect (5'6", 155#). Hood size is great. The zipper goes all the way up and keeps your neck warm too, it's wonderful. Washes great; I hang it to dry (like all my hoodies) and haven't had any issues there.

I bought this for my daughter. I love the color (Elm Heather) and the way it is well made. The hoodie came faster than expected which was a plus. Most important my daughter loves it and says it keeps her warm. Will be ordering one for myself..

The fit is perfect. The size chart helped a lot in determining between small or medium. I love the lining in the hood and how the zipper zips all the way up my neck. Overall it is a very nice sweatshirt. Excellent quality.

This isn’t your average hoodie! This jacket keeps me pretty warm, dare I say hot! If you like your clothes fitted I suggest ordering a size down. I typically wear a large and this large was a bit roomy, but it is for work so it made sense to me. I’ve washed it several times and the black has yet to fade and it doesn’t get those annoying knots thatvsome cotton fabic tends to get after wearing it for awhile.

I bought this sweatshirt to replace my old hoodie thinking that is was the same item as my tried and true Carhartt hoodie which I have worn for over 10 years only to find out that the new one has only 55% cotton and is now starting to pill. It may be softer but pilling is unacceptable. My old Carhartt hoodie which I love is 75% cotton and much sturdier and comfortable.

Seriously though; sitting at my desk freezing today so I run down the street to the only clothing store in town. Stumble upon a rack of women's Carhartt and think "I've lived in Maine for 35 years and don't own any Carhartt; it's time". They have one XS in Navy on the rack, I grab it to try on and miraculously, it fit perfectly, even the sleeves are long enough (for reference, I am 5'10" 130 lbs with gorilla arms). Really happy and now warm at my desk currently. I'm sure this will wash

I bought this in Navy, in my size ...according to the Carhartt chart.... and have worn it approx 6 months. I wear it daily, even in the winters, as it gets cool at night in N.D. Mine's been washed maybe 30 times and has held up well. I appreciate the large hand pockets, as they hold my dog leashes and keys. the arm length is great and the sizing is just right. This hoodie is comfortable and I'm going to get it in another color!

I LOVE IT!!! My second one! I mentioned in my first review about how I wished they would have sewn an inside pocket though for phones, keys, etc, and they still haven’t done that. But I have been able to do that myself. That’s the only complaint I have. Otherwise it’s a awesomely warm

Ordered in cranberry. Was a little lighter than the picture (more orange than pink) but still love it. Thick material and fits perfectly.

I really like this zip up hoodie! its very warm and durable and looks good too! It is a bit bigger than normal, but fits good enough to still wear. The only issue is the material gets a bit balled up on the outside after a few washes. Other than that i really enjoy it!
