The Crawford Double Front Bib Overalls features:
These fit great! I love them!
Overall good, but could stand some improvement. The closures on them are cumbersome and they make me miss the old school snaps that I’m used to. I love all the pockets, especially the zippered ones
I ordered the “natural” color in an XS Short and wore them to work before washing and drying in the dryer, the fabric is thin and has a small amount of stretch so it shrank a bit drawing the inseam up enough to barely hit my ankle and I got paint on them while working so I ordered the same off white bibs in an XS Reg and they fit much better, after the dryer the hem sits on top of my boot without dragging the ground in back. I’ve since let the hem out and seen the flap down on the shorter pair so I could wear them without showing my entire shin when crouching down. Also, dark undergarments are plainly visible through the fabric. I paint houses and these are the most comfortable “painters whites” I’ve found. A year later both pairs are holding up fine but I have bought 2 more pairs in the carhartt brown color [natural was sold out] and they’re slightly thicker. I’m 5’3” 110 34-24-36 idk what size bc all I do is flippin work. I live in carhartt bibs.
These are so comfortable. Able to move and work with no restriction.
I love them! They are very comfortable, great material, and were priced well. I was just very sad I ordered them in a size too big so I returned them and ordered a different size!
Love the soft overalls, hate the new shoulder snaps. Please bring back the original round snaps!! Fit very comfortable, I am 5' 7" and ordered the medium tall according to another review. Perfect loose fit for working, but a little long, have to roll bottoms up. I am a little long in the body area and like mine to hang loose in the crotch for working movement. I am ordering another color in the medium regular hoping not to have to roll the bottoms. Will update this review if needed. As another stated, if you are wanting a fashion statement order a size smaller because they are loose fit. But for working they are perfect. Very happy over all! Ha!
I am 5’2, 105lbs and the short XS fit perfectly. I use these overalls while doing pottery and the garment has enough flexibility to move around with ease. Can’t wait to pick up another pair.
These are insanely comfortable and I will wear these at any opportunity that I get.
Looks great! My only qualm is the bib feels a little wide
Perfect n comfy Beautiful chocolate color. Soft durable material. I’m order another color.
I got 3 pairs of these in brown for each one of my daughters, they love them! They say they are comfortable and such a soft but strong material. The fit isn’t baggy and they look great on!
These overalls are very comfortable, fit well
Ladies looking for size references!<br /><br />I recently purchased a SMALL TALL and a MEDIUM because I wasn't sure about my size!<br /><br />I am 5'8, 128lbs, (built slim) and I usually wear a size 2-4 bottom (26-27) and a small top. I tried these on with leggings under. <br /><br />The overalls all have a 31" inseam. The Small and Xsmall have the same length therefore I tried the Small Tall since 31" is usually short on me! the fit is perfect. Small would have been too short at the bottom. The medium's length was perfect because the straps are longer.<br /><br />Overall, I would use the Small Tall as more of a fashion, light workpiece of clothing, and the mediums I would use to work on my ranch and have the option to add layers under. They are made thin, so for me planning on putting leggings or sweatpants under to feed the horses, I would wear my mediums. The sizing is depending on what you plan to do with them.<br /><br />Hope this helps!
I loved these so much they are comfortable
Good fit, nice durable material
Quality appears good but way too big.
I LOVE these overalls! While other Carhartt clothing items have fairly heavyweight fabric, this item's fabric weight is lighter and with that bit of stretch, they are just right. Love all the pockets, too. I wear them, seriously, as "fashion" and I always get compliments. For sizing, here are my stats: 5'6", 145 lbs, and almost 70 years old. The size medium/regular length fits great, although they are a bit long on me. After a few more times through the washer/dryer, I may shorten them, but for now I just roll 'em up. These overalls are perfect for visits to the park, chasing after my grandchildren, and just "hanging out." Go get a pair!!!
Comfy and flattering for this style. Love all the pockets, especially the zippered one.
I am 5’2 125 lbs I orders a small regular and it is huge I’m swimming in it. Def size down
I'm on the small side of the XL 16-18. I returned that size and was given a full refund immediately. I ordered the next size down, and the size Large fits perfectly! I love them!
These overalls are just as described, but I think they run a little thin for canvas overalls. They run true to size so if you are a small stick with a small. These overalls are great just not a female version of the men's overalls. I wish Carhartt carried those. However I have not worn these out yet, but I do not wear these often.
Love them a lot
They fit very well. I love them. Got a size too big before, Carhart was amazing with return. Ordered another pair!
Comfy, rugged, functional, cute. What else is there?
Great fit and super durable! I love mine!
I loved them
Love them! I ordered the short length and they fit perfectly! Will be using for my fall gardening.
These overalls are amazing... So cute to wear day to day to school or while running errands or for working in the yard.
I’m a painter and I’m always looking for the perfect white bibs. These are the closest I can find to white in the Carhartt bib style that I love. Please let me know when they make a white bib pants. Till then, these are my professional favourite
Review of overalls
Perfect item, perfect transaction, perfect customer service!
They arrived quickly and fit as expected. Thanks!
Very comfortable and amazing thick quality
Overall I am always happy with your overalls however I am super disappointed to find you’ve swapped the utility pockets on the sides - years of muscle memory for dropping my phone on the right and utility knife on the left down the drain…
Really nice. Doesn’t get stuck in my butt crack when I raise my arms
Great quality. Not but for short torso people. The inseam is great for me but nothing a little sewing can’t fix.
I purchased XS Short. I'm 115lbs and 5'3". These fit perfectly and seem durable for the long run. The pockets are nice and the clasps/zippers seem well made. I hope they don't discontinue them, as most sizes are out of stock. It's hard to find petite work clothing worth it's salt.
Great for work. They run true to size. Very durable. Will continue buying.
Fits great and I love that they have so many pockets. I wear them all the time and get positive comments from everyone. I wasn't sure white was a good idea but I actually love it.
Great product! I use mine for camping snowboarding and working on vehicles. I just wish there were more colors to choose from. I got myself 2 pair and my girlfriend a pair.
perfect fit, not too stiff, washes great. I’m 5’6”, 145lb and the medium fit perfectly.
Serve their purpose. Great product
This is my first time buying and wearing overalls from Carhartt. These overalls are amazing. Very comfortable and a good fit. I will be ordering from Carhartt’s website again. Thank you!
Obsessed with these. I do barn chores and stay warm for hours in them!
Really good
These are the best thing I have ever bought. I wear them everywhere: getting groceries, going to the library, catching a flight. Pockets for days, purses are a thing of the past. <br />I do wish they had an xxsmall tall (I’m 5’9” 135), but it’s the perfect loose-ness for putting a hoodie under it in the winter. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
I bought these for my wife. Based on a review by another purchaser concerning the size, I decided to get the medium tall. My wife is 5' 7".<br />This review is after 1 month of use.
The lower "pant" part seems to fit and size the same as the Crawford (loose fit pant). The upper can be adjusted with the straps. Very comfy I love that Carhartt makes pants in different lengths, I'm 5'4" short fit my stubby legs without having to shorten them. Nice amount of stretch in the material.
I love everything about these!! They look super cute on and fit just a little bit loose like I wanted them. I am 135 pounds, 5’8” and I got the medium long. I tried the large long first but those were way too big. I want to get different colors but I see these are mostly sold out. Hope they restock soon!!!
Thought they would be insulated for that price.
everything fits perfectly, very high quality. not too large and not too small, just the right size
Comfortable and durable
Good fit my girl loves it
Love love love these. Wear every day on my farm. Ripped on a briar which is sad but otherwise holds up well. Fits as expected with regular size.
Best overalls ! Finally found overalls that are long enough!
I am disappointed in the quality of these overalls, compared to one's I bought years ago. The older version of the women's overalls was much similar to the men's - the fabric was thicker, and made of a higher quality that would withstand hard work. This version is thinner and stretchy, which may be ok for some, but for those of us women who work hard and put a lot of wear into our clothing, I can't see these lasting the same as the older ones. Bring them back please!!
Was skeptical about the length so I cuffed but they are perfect to go over snow boots and keep you warm.
My black one is wonderful.
Great qualify
The overalls are good, and I really like the off-white color. I’m 5’10” and the length of S/Regular just barely makes it, with the shoulder straps at full extension. It’s good enough, though. I agree with other reviewers that the strap connectors are not the best, they’re fiddly and often get stuck in a sideways kink- I’ve even had them come open while wearing!
Great fit and study farm wear!
It’s perfect !!
Fit was amazing. XS regular was perfect. Im 5’1, 115 lbs and they are big but still fit well! Love them!
Bought for Christmas gift for my granddaughter! But they look and feel great. Nice and heavy.
Comfy and fit for purpose
They are fabulous. The fit is perfect and they're very durable. Thank you for making such amazing products. Keep up the good work.
I love them so much I bought a second pair
I am not a big lady nor am I tall. But i find the fit of the straps could be longer but otherwise I am completely happy and comfortable in the bibs/roveralls.
Love them they fit and are amazing ??
Very best!
I did a ton of research on women's bibs before purchasing these and I thought I would love them, unfortunately it was a pricy mistake. I wore these bibs a total of ONE time and then threw them in the wash. When I took them out of the dryer the metal hooks were bent so bad that they are virtually useless now. I laundered them as suggested and tumbled in the dryer on low by themselve, inside out, with the hooks attached so as not to catch on anything. These hooks are a major design flaw, as other people have mentioned. I'm going to try and take them to a seamstress to see it I can add buttons or something.
The overalls fit nicely and I have worn them while doing a variety of tasks. The fit and comfort are nice and I like the front zip pocket for holding my phone. My only issue is similar to other reviews, in that the claps on the front are kind of a pain. If they were the regular button kind, this would be a 5 star review.
The fit is fine but this fabric is a wrinkled mess after washing. It’s also ripping where the buckle on the strap is. I am a novice gardener and have worn them 3 times and they already look bad. Really disappointed considering the price for these overalls.
SO MANY POCKETS! The fit and the fabric are perfect.
Love these! My daughter even rides horses with them on! A must have!
They fit fantastic and I really like how the material feels. I will definitely buy another pair
Fit very well and comfortable.
I waited a long time to buy these because I felt they were quite pricey. I finally bit the bullet and purchased them. I am very happy with them. Mostly, I wear them while gardening. They are very effective at preventing rose thorns from stabbing me. I also appreciate the double thickness at the knees
I Love them. I’m 5.5 and 130lbs. I bought the Loose Fit, model #OR2438-W in medium. I prefer most clothes to be on the looser side. These fit great even after washing and drying. In colder temperatures, I wear them with multiple layers underneath and they are still comfortable. I’m in zone 6b and they have worked for me in all seasons. Super durable and functional. Love the zip pocket on the front bib. I own two pair of theses overalls (the dark brown and the classic Carhart brown). If they came in olive green and charcoal… I’d own four. ??
Fits just right (true to size)- high quality and great fit!
Very comfortable and fit well. Ordered a small, 5ft 4in 120lb. Only one season of wear so far but holding up well with no signs of wear yet.
These overalls are definitely bog standard women's fast fashion quality. Not what I would expect from Carhartt, pretty disappointing.<br /><br />I'm about 5'6" and I have the shoulder straps completely maxed out on the medium, which is unfortunate when I have to sit down. Fit is otherwise fine.
Love love love!, soft material, fit great!
These are great. Don’t order the railroad stripe ones, strap literally disintegrated after one wash. Getting absolutely nothing from customer service which is also a MAJOR disappointment. They certainly don’t need my business, but have lost it for a lifetime- despite how high quality most of their products are.
So comfortable.
Great fit, the short XS fit perfect for my 5’3” girlfriend.
Fantastic all around. Comfortable, durable, and fit great! I work in a small grocery store constantly moving and heavy lifting. These keep up and hold all my tools.
I love these carhartts. They are rugged and durable. I am 5'6" and 150 lbs. I am smaller on top with big butt and hips. :-) I bought size Large and they are perfect. Not too tight in the hips. And perfect to add a warm layer or two on top if needed. The double layer at the knees is great for crawling around in the garden. My only small complaint would be the length - they could be 1-2 inches longer for my taste. But not enough to reduce my stars. I still give them 5 stars.
Fit more like 12-14 not 8-10 like I ordered. I have two other pairs that fit perfectly.
I love my overalls. They are well made, not too tight, lots of pockets, and are also long enough for me. Shipping is lightening fast. With Carhartt you get what you pay for :)
Disappointed in the fabric, not the heavy material I expected
these overalls make me feel like anything is possible!
I wear them everywhere now! I love them for working outside but they are adorable and can make a really cute outfit as well!
products great—my shape too large—thanks for return policy ??
Wore these every day the first week I got them. They’re comfortable and very functional but also look great— the brown color is perfect for fall and I got a lot of compliments
These are as described, but are not up to the quality standards I’m used to from carhartt. The material feels more like a cheap synthetic than cotton duck, and I really miss the elastic suspenders as those were what made carhartt overalls comfortable to work in. Unfortunately another company that makes workwear for men and stretchy junk for women.
I’m 5’10” and 153 lbs. Purchased a Small Tall and they fit PERFECT. And I love them and want to wear them every day. I tried the large tall and the medium tall based on what I read in reviews but they were really big and boxy. So happy with these overalls!! Will buy again, and probably in every color.
Love these! Fit just right and long enough too, I’ll be ordering another pair!
Loveeeee them! I would highly recommend them. The fit is great. I am 5’9” and the regular length fits great.
Fit great, got many compliments
Love these overalls! I am long-waisted and they are almost too short through the body. They are so comfortable!
Good fitting with the medium. I am 5’6’’, 145 pounds, If I was taller they would be too short. Great and handy!
Okay so overall I love these overalls. There are some pros and some cons which I will explain. <br /><br />I am 5’1” ,160 pounds. I got my overalls in a Short Large and they ended up fitting perfectly after a wash. When I first put them on I thought they were still a bit too long and had to fold them but after washing them the ended up fitting just right unfolded. (Pic in natural color is before washing, dark brown pair is washed) The material is comfortable and sturdy and very easy to move around in. I really enjoy layering under but even in the summer I think they could still be wearable, they’re lightweight. The pockets are so convenient and sometimes I find myself not needing my bag. The straps are super easy to adjust and overall I just feel so comfortable in my overalls. There was no discoloration while washing. <br /><br />Now some cons. My hair sometimes gets pulled by the buckles, but not enough for me to mind. The buckles sometimes make noise when you walk. And I had an issue with my order. The first time I ordered I got 2 pairs, one in the color natural and other in dark brown. I ended up only receiving the natural color which was disappointing. However after reaching out to customer service they were super helpful and I got a refund so I reordered the dark brown pair. I received that pair super quick and I’m satisfied with both my pairs of overalls. I would purchase again! I live in my overalls and wear them so frequently.
Fits great.<br />Very durable.<br />Only complaint is once grease or stains happen though, they are difficult to become clean again...
I was worried at first about sizing, but it ended up working out perfectly! for reference I am 5'7 and very slim at 115 lbs. I got the regular length in size small and it literally fits me perfectly in both length and size. I probably could have gone down to an xs if I wanted a tighter look but I prefer my overalls a little baggy. Very functional, warm, and I love the color (dark brown). I'll probably end up getting the white version for summer.
Way too big and I would like to take them back but I’m not sure how to?
Love these! comfortable and durable
Little tricky size-wise for me so I ended up returning these. <br />I’m 5’11” and 175 with an athletic build. I ordered a Medium Tall and the length of the legs was great for a cuffed look but the torso was just too snug even with the shoulder straps fully extended. I probably should have sized up but I also didn’t like how the top of the pants portion hit right at my waist kind of making that the widest part of my figure. Just my preference though, so I’ll be looking into other overall designs ( Lucy and Yak have a ton of fit options and styles, so going to try theirs next) <br /><br />Overall the material has a comfortable stretch and softness to it, but if you’re looking for super rugged work wear this is a little more casual and probably wouldn’t last that long.
Great fit. So functional. Love all my pockets. Definitely recommend for bigger women who need room to move
Really love the style, I know the bibs will last a long time and have already done great in the field. Love all the pocket space and zippers. However, despite being the perfect height, they were pretty baggy around the top half starting from the hips. I'm a fairly petite size and found the appearance is really baggy. The length and leg space are great but there are some huge gaps around the side button slips, and they often come loose. it feels like the button hose are too large for the actual buttons. Overall the baggy parts don't get in the way of functionality, its just an appearance issue.
Hands down the best overalls I’ve ever worn. I have 6 pairs and don’t like to work in anything else. The fabric is thick enough to protect one’s skin, but isn’t stiff and uncomfortable. I love them!
Bought the brown for my adult daughter and she loves them!
I like these bib overalls. I do wish they stretched a little. I am sort of in between sizes right now. The short XL fit, just a tad snug, but the short XXL are too big. It will give me incentive too loose some weight. They are of good quality.
These are WAY looser than I was expecting. I guess I was expecting they would look like the model in the picture (not tight, but not swimming either). Anyway, if you’re slender these will be way too baggy for you. I’m 5’7” 145 and got a M, and I’m swimming in them. Even after washing several times they are enormous. Good quality though!
Perfect for working Upta Camp in Maine! Plenty of room for a warm layer underneath. Cell phone zips safely into front bib pocket. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to get these. Very happy with my purchase.
They are great only wish the strap was that other material!! Fit great little long so I probably would have been ok with the short!
Love the color and the utility pockets and loops, but the buckles are impossible hard to open (you have to twist and fit the metal peg through a tiny slot, which is impossible hard when you need to pee badly). Another down side? They fit like men's overalls, and while nothing's wrong with that, it is just not nearly as flattering as the DoveTails, which are made only for women. But then again, how good do you need to look when you're covered in mud. <br /><br />On the huge plus side, Carhartts are infinitely less expensive, than Dovetail... Like nearly half the price. Carhartts are made of a thinner material but it's great for the summer. And they have great many more colors compared to Dovetails. So I would definitely recommend stocking lots of Carhartts if you need to wear lots of overalls and may be only splurge on one pair of Dovetails.
I wear my Carhartts to weld in and I love them. They’re super comfortable and all of the pockets really come in handy!
I love these overalls! Super comfortable!!! I will definitely be ordering another pair in a different color.
I'm actually hoping to return it. Not what I expected. Not the same quality of the last pair I had. It's a shame no in person stores stock enough womens overalls for us females needing workwear.
These bibs actually fit me as I am 5'8 and can never find any that are long enough. They fit perfect everywhere. Very flexible and holds shape. I can move Very well in them no restrictions.
Good fit and great for gardening. Phone stays in the deep pocket.
I had to return them as the straps weren’t long enough. The fit and length were great, but with the straps at their longest, just weren’t long enough in the torso for this 5’8” gal.
Love these overalls. Nice and sturdy but not so stiff that you can't bend down.
Love these overalls but the only thing that I think is weird about them is the positioning of the back pockets, they are so far to the side it makes you look wide.
Fit a lot looser than I interpreted Loose Fit to mean (might be a me problem!), though I like them.
I had initially purchased these in a size XL, tall. I’m 5’8 and wearing a size 16. They fit, but were very tight, so I purchased new ones in the extended size 2x, regular length. I would have chosen tall if it was an available option. The 2x is good, loose and comfortable for layering tights and a sweatshirt underneath, and I can still bend and crouch at work without feeling restrained or overexposed. The regular leg is only just long enough, and tall would have been better. It would be nice if the extended sizes had more options and availability.
These fit well! I am 5”0 and 110lbs. I got XS Short and they fit really good! They are a good quality. The crotch is a little baggy and the pants are a little long but I tuck them into boots so it works out!
Pretty much love them. strap attachments a little fiddly and jangle a bit, but overall fit and comfort good, love big zippered pocket. wore them to a punk show, didn’t have to worry about losing anything in the mosh pit. also very handy for gardening and general mucking about.
Dear Carhartt,<br />THESE ARE AMAZING!!! I love these overalls and am now ordering them in the carhartt brown. I’m short and am used to cutting my jeans and these are no exception. For reference I’m 5’0” and ordered the short L because I wanted them more loose. I cut about 5 inches off the bottom and they are perfectly cropped. Perfect for vans or boots. For whatever reason I wasn’t expecting them to be so soft, I thought they’d be more of a canvas type material. All in all I love them.
I have not ordered a new pair in quite some time. The softness is so comfy yet the durability is all the same. <br />Thank you for a great fit!
Freaking love these so comfortable and flexible I could wear these are for everything I’m 5’2 120lbs and the regular small fit really well.
Very disappointed in fabric of these. I was really looking for a thicker, canvas fabric. I agree with other reviews that wish these were the same fabric as the men's. These don't seem to be durable, and fit kind of odd. Not a fan of the clasps and I ended up returning these since I don't think they will hold up to wear and tear.
I love them so much it was quite literally my best purchase ever
They are great! I am 5 ft. so I still had to shorten them, but other then that I am loving them. Will get more.
I guess I'm just too small for adult clothes. I'm 5'1 and 100lb and the XS Short was still way too long and loose. They are pretty comfy though so maybe I'll try some Children's Carhartt Overalls so I stop ruining all of my other clothes in the shop!
The overall seem to be of quality construction, however the fit is strangely tight through the hips but loose on top. They fit well enough that I have kept them but this needs to be stated for the reviews so that people know before they purchase.
I ended up returning these, I’m small I know carhartt runs big on me. I’m also pregnant, working, and having a hell of a time finding anything to fit me that I can work in. These would be perfect if they were smaller, the XS doesn’t currently work with my belly, but these have so much extra fabric all over for me. Overalls are just not for me right now.
The fastener on the chest broke on the second wash. Other than that I like them but I need to keep repairing them which is unfortunate. They are sturdy enough for my gardening job and soft enough to be comfortable to wear all day.
Cozy yet comfortable movement. Good stuff for getting down and dirty in garden, household care etc., will be looking to some jeans and shirts before long.<br />It’s why we love Carhartt!<br />Sincerely V. O.
They’re pretty nice! Just got mine in the mail! I’m 5’4, about 154 pounds, I have wider hips with thick thighs and a 28-30 inch waist depending on the brand. The large short fit very nicely with a good amount of thigh room :) waist is a bit big but nice and lose
The Loose Fit Overall is extremely comfortable, easy to move in and although I haven't given them an extreme stress test with hard labor yet or washed them, I am guessing that they will be an essential item for me for years to come. Gardening was especially easy and ventilated. I am definitely interested in buying more gear from Carhartt in the future.
I've wanted these overalls for forever! To give an image, I am 5'7'', 145lbs. My thighs area little thicker and I have kind of a longer torso. I bought Regular/Medium, and they fit perfectly on my legs, and have just enough length on the ankles to roll them up! The only thing I wished was better was the shoulder straps, they could be a tad bit longer, but i think with some ware that problem will be fixed. I really like them! All the pockets the front bib zipper is so cute. Definitely recommend!
I absolutely love these overalls! I'm 5'9", ~130, so I originally ordered the Tall Small. They fit, but the legs were around 3" too long so I exchanged for the Regular Small and the fit on these is amazing! I read some reviews saying the buttons/clasps are difficult for the shoulder straps, but I haven't had too much trouble as long as I'm looking at them while trying to do or undo. I am able to wear these with just a tee, or with some layers underneath and everything still fits great! Would definitely recommend buying!
Great fit, great product.
they’re super long stretchy and comfy!
Beware of sizes! If you are between sizes, SIZE UP! <br />I grew up and worked on a horse/cattle farm and also frequent an art studio, and there's no way these overalls in my usual (aka older) size would work. I love carhartt and it's been years since I've had to make a new purchase (got my first pair over 6-7 years ago [I am still the same size] but the sizing has changed and the loose fit is not as loose as one might think.) <br />For reference, I am a size 27 in almost every type of jeans (5'7", 140 lbs, athletic with a longer torso and narrow hips/butt), but the size S overalls were way too tight to actually use for work purposes... squatting made them uncomfortably tight in terms of functionality. The small fit more like a pair of slim-fitting jeans and seriously grabbed in the crotch (despite the straps being fully extended). <br />I'm reordering in a new size because Carhartt is a great brand, but the chart is misleading in terms of fit/ functionality.
Well made, high quality construction
I usually wear medium but these were marketed as loose fit so i went a size down and they were the perfect amount of loose even in a small. I purchased both the dark brown and the light brown. Both of them are really nice and cozy with plenty of pockets for tools and pens. The chest part has two little slits to secure your pens, sharpies and pencils better. I Would definitely buy again and reccomend them to all!
I loved them until my thunder thighs ripped through them after only a month and a half of wear. Very disappointing, yet not surprising.
I'm a full time welder and also 30 weeks pregnant. These are super comfortable! Lost one star because the buckles on the straps are a pain, and are very tricky to open/close.
I'm 5'2. i ordered the carhartt brown. i ordered a small short and they fit me like a dream. only down side is the length. even with ordering the short they are still long on me but when you roll them they look cute. I gave 4 stars for quality and functionality because the shoulder buckles are weirdly crafted and i can see where people complain they feel cheap and flimsy. i also havent worn them for practical purposes so im not sure how durable they are(i bought for garden and woodshop not any hard labor). i tried them on with a thin-med. sweatpants and still had room to crouch with no bunching. i also wore with a thick fleece hoodie and it was a good fit for me, snug but not uncomfortable. so if you want a little more room for THICK layers i would go up a size but be mindful of the length if youre a short gal like me. i typically wear size 4 in old navy, american eagle(2-4). i also paid using afterpay to split my payment up and the process was easy.
Sturdy with lots of pockets! I have a minimal wardrobe and these are my one weekend gardening uniform. Pockets for days to hold clippers, labels, markers, cellphone, even my pruning saw. Pale color is great for summer. It shows dirt stains but I don’t mind.
I wanted to love these and was so excited when they arrived. The legs fit really well. The top was so huge I could have carried a bail of hay inside of them. Also, the straps need to be longer. I ordered the tall and the legs seemed to be long enough but not the torso.
All the mens overalls are clown pants on me, but these fit perfectly. I am a farmer and the 8oz fabric is not heavy enough for actual work, but they are great for non-work farmer clothes. I am 6' tall 160lbs, and the Medium Tall fit the way "fitted" clothes fit. Could have been an inch shorter, but for sure the Regular would have been too short. For comparison, for work pants I wear the normal Carhartt B11 pants, 33x32. In most other pants, Carhartt and otherwise, I wear 33x34.
Perfect for working in the yard and doing other outdoor work.
I love these overalls. They are comfortable, cute, and very useful. Tons of pockets for everything you need. I always get compliments on these whenever I wear them. The only thing I would ask for is that they came in many more colors.
They are very cute on
Great fit and I love the color. I am a sculptor and live in my Carhartt overalls. The light color is good for summer heat.
These are great-perfect for yard work. Love them.
They were a gift for wifey, but the fit just right
Great fit ,Replaced my 20 year old Brown coveralls .They lasted a long time
Most comfy everyday overalls I've owned and I've had a lot. I absolutely love them!
Great fit and comfortable denim
They are very comfortable
Just what I was looking for! Great for wearing while painting, fit is true to size.
These are awesome. They are the perfect balance of structured and sturdy while still being comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. They run slightly large (I am typically a medium but got a small) and they stretch out slightly after some use.
I love these overalls so much that I bought all three colors within a month! I’m 5’4” and around 130 and I ordered a small short and I roll them up twice and they are perfect. The length is even fine with them not rolled up. I just like the appearance better with them rolled up. The fabric is so soft and thick but not super hot. My only wish is that they’d make these in black because they are the perfect overalls in every way! Don’t hesitate! But these! They are cut for women, finally!!! If they keep releasing more colors I’ll keep buying them!
Love them. Great neutral color. Good weight. Long enough in the torso. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is the buckles. They’re hard to open/close and they catch on things.
A new use for a Crawford overall. Walking my dog, Nico. Flashlight in the tool holder, water bottle in the long leg pocket, collapsible water bowl in one back pocket, poop bags in the other, and treats in the front two. Don't worry; I'll fill the bib pockets too! I got a large so I can just climb into it over my clothes.
fit well - all as I expected from Carhartt
Love them! And the fact that I was able to get them in a tall made me love them in even more!
Bought them for wife. She looks so good on them.
Great item, good price
This is my first Carhartt purchase for myself, and definitely not my last. The high quality workmanship, great fit and durability of the overalls has me eying my next pair in another color. Get yourself a pair or two and thank me later!
Bought these for my girlfriend, and she loves them. The construction is so solid she went running into a blackberry bramble to retrieve a wayward arrow at the archery range and emerged unscathed. The buckle design is solid and doesn’t come apart accidentally, ever. Would buy another pair.
I love these bib overalls. This is my second pair. I just wish they came in more colors. I like light colors so I can find ticks easily, but not white since I work with animals.<br />I said the durability and quality is great, and I expect it to be so, but I have only worn them 2 times so who knows how long they will last. Time will tell.<br />I would buy again if they offer some new colors.
I love these overalls, I have three different types of your styles, but all three the metal loops all ripped off while washing, even when I only wash the overalls by themselves. They fit great, but break easily...and I just bought the two that broke maybe 4 months ago, I hardly wore them
My daughter now lives in them!
Wish you varied lengths. These are so long! I would need to cut them (4inches) and re-hem should I keep them, and I am 5'6". Makes them bunch up by my crotch area, very unatractive. Otherwise I love them. Very well made, material is super heavy and durable. Good looking too. Just way to long for the average female
Wife’s 5’1, 115 lbs athletic build and it fits like it was made for her. She loves it! Keep the XS Short sizes coming.
I ordered the size length short, they seemed like regular length, I had to get 6 inches hemmed. (I’m 5’2, so usually short would fit)
Nice product, comfortable
I love these. I never thought I would like overalls, but decided to give them another try after adding the bulky framers belt to my daily kit. It’s so much more comfortable! Now I never want to build anything without them! I also especially like the zipper pocket in the middle of the front, which is just right for my job site project notebook. I do wish they came in more colors, like black, or blue. But the brown is very nice. And the fabric is really soft!
I love the color, I used the size generator where they suggest a size base off what brand you usually wear. I’m a 14 in old navy and I’m 5’6 hourglass figure .. l ordered a L which fit just right but I think next time I would go up a size . They were a little snug in the hips . I work as a forester and wanted something durable , so far so good.
Great fit and durable comfortable fabric make this the best work outfit. I will have this for years to come.
Love them. Super comfortable!
I am obsessed with these overalls. I bought L and XL (both short) just in case - I wanted a bit of an oversized fit but still comfortable and flattering. I am 5'4, ~150 lbs, measurements 33x29x43 and the large fits PERFECTLY. They give a bit after a few wears but the oversized look is still perfect. At 5'4, the legs hit just past my ankles but I rolled them up a few times and they're ideal. The fabric is sturdy but comfortable, and the pockets are truly incredible.
These are awesome! All women who like to be outside and work should own a pair.
This is my first new pair of overalls since the 90's. I love the dark brown color. I've been living in them since I got them! I'm 5'3" and the short length fit perfectly.
Love these! They are super comfortable-soft with just the right amount of stretch! Legs are a little full but not terrible. True to size and length was perfect. Would like to see additional colors like navy, and maybe make these in a shortall version.
Great fit as expected
Being 5 months pregnant, it started to get a little challenging to button my pants. Switching to the overalls has been a game changer! I feel like they will afford the needed space to accommodate my growing belly. 5'5'', 145 lbs pre-pregnancy, wearing M.
I absolutely loved these when they came in. They are super soft and still feel very durable. Good pocket space and easy to move in.
I have been farming for 6 years absolutely love these overalls to work in, pockets everywhere for storage. I’m 5’6 125lbs, I have XS pair and a S pair. The XS hugs my waist more/does not fall down if I unhook them. The smalls go right to my ankles when I unhook. Regardless, love them both. Enough stretch to be up and down all day.
LOVE!!! They fit like a glove. I'm 5ft tall 124 lbs and I got the size S pair in a short length. Amazing fit and SO soft!
The sizing difference between the 2 and the 4 is extravagant. I now need a belt to keep them up, while the size two I could barely button. “Short” inseam also basically a standard 30 inch. They don’t fit well, which is really disappointing for $60 jeans. ??
I'm short and I ordered short bibs. But, I will still need to hem them. Other than that, they are perfect.
Very boxy fit, I think it’s made for the body type of a potato with legs. Tried to return, and the website keeps glitching out when I’m halfway through the return process. Pretty disappointing.
I love these overalls. The material is soft yet durable. The loose fit gives me plenty of room to stretch and bend. They look good on and are so comfortable.
I love them. They are tough and strong. I like the fit. I would recommend them.
Love everything about them! Will purchase again
Comfy, sturdy, love the zip pocket on the bib.
I love these, they're comfortable and strong and have so many pockets.
These are my favorite Carhartt bibs. I am 5' 11" ~ 180 lb (depending on the week and which part of the pandemic we're in, thanks a lot COVID), and these couldn't fit better! They fit like a second skin, but still have the movement I need. While I haven't worn in super cold weather, yet, they're the perfect 'fit for yard work and mountain stuff in the spring.
Love my overalls. Miss the round coverall connectors but am getting used to the flat ones. Great quality, just need to get them worn in more. ; )
I love these overalls so much! I get so many compliments on them and people asking where they can get them. I'm 5'9" and got the large. They fit perfect and comfy. Pretty much live in them to do everything from gardening, woodworking, running errands, grabbing coffee, going out for dinner. Get them.
They fit as expected but weren't quite as stretchy as expected and the bottom of the legs were wider than expected. That said, I'm super excited to actually wear them out working, I love the pockets.
Got a pair while visiting southwest US. Never been able to find well fitting overalls in Australia. Tried these on a whim. They are great. <br />Extremely comfortable. Don’t impede movement or get in the way while working. Almost forget I have them on! <br />Straps don’t fall off shoulders, a big problem with many others I’ve tried. <br />I breed beef cattle, do a lot of pasture management and forest regeneration work. Mud, dust, manure, chainsaws, sap, tractors, grease, fencing wire, construction work. <br />Always have phone, knife, glasses (getting older darn it) electric fence remote etc stashed in the pockets, gloves hanging from a loop. Front chest zip pocket fits a phone, ideal easy location for it in case of accident injury, close enough to make emergency call using voice command if necessary. <br />They work hard, and appearance is not important to me. But as my favorite color is brown, they even tick that box. <br />So far they seem durable, standing up well to work. <br />I am very pleased these do NOT have the elastic in the sides as some of the mens range do. The buttons allow for easy opening, and extra ventilation in hot conditions. I dislike the feel and restriction of elastic. I dislike elastic sided work boots too.<br />I would be even happier if these were 100% cotton. The ‘flex’ or ‘stretch’ or ‘spandex’ or whatever is something I actively dislike and try to avoid in all clothing.<br />Going to get more brought over to me. <br />PS chose Colorado for state, as I think that’s where I bought them, but I’m using them here in Australia.
These are the most comfortable overalls I've ever had. I'm going to buy another pair!
These are fantastic for a muddy day in the garden, and extremely comfortable. I always throw these on when I have some work to do, and the brown is perfect for hiding dirt and stains.
The fabric is soft but is thick and feels sturdy. I got the regular length, I’m 5’4” and could have afforded to get the short length, but I don’t mind rolling up the hem.
Seem very well built. Soft and comfy, but flattering!
Where have these been all my life? Haha. They are exactly what I need!!! I work outside with preschool and elementary age children all day, in all kinds of weather. They keep me warm, and protected, yet they are flexible enough for all kinds of terrains. And They Have All The Pockets!!!!!!!<br /><br />In short I ordered two more, and the shorts version as well. <br /><br />Thanks Carhartt
I got the short (I'm under 5'3") and the medium (size 8). These are the perfect length with the perfect stretch. I got them for working - but find I am wearing them for comfort too. They look awesome too.
Very comfortable and sturdy. Run slightly small in my opinion, size up.
Love Love Love these overalls
very comfortable, easy to adjust, and plenty of pockets to keep stuff in while working. Should have gotten these overalls earlier!
They. are. exactly. What. I. was. wanting. Looks. and. Feels. Great. Thank. You
I absolutely loved these, which is why I hated returning them. Averaging for great except the straps didn't have enough adjustability to accommodate someone with a butt and boobs...I was afraid I was going to spilt the pants when I crouched down... My other brand fits the same but since I can adjust the straps more, there's more okay when you bend down.
Fit is good, but the fabric is thinner then I expected.
Great fit. Legs were a little more flared than I expected but that’s fine
The fabric was really thin, didn’t seem like it would last very long. I returned this
I’m a size medium or 6 in most brands. I expected these to run large and bought a small. I could have sized down to an xsmall. These overalls made my butt and legs disappear. There is no shape to these bibs. I had high hopes for these with all the good reviews. However, Carhartt continues to disappoint me with workwear for women.
Quality construction and fabric. Stylish and current. Just right
I absolutely love my new overalls and pants. They fit perfectly and look great. I am really happy. The website even was able to help me with my sizing. I will be shopping at Carhartt in he future.
I love everything about these overall except the buckle clasps on the bib...they are "fiddly" to get together...I would much prefer the standard metal button rivet and buckle style clasp. Other than that I would highly recommend them and would likely buy them again hoping that Carhartt will fix the clasp issue in future designs.
Omg! I’m an 80’s baby so I have spent the last 5 years trying to recreate the comfort of 90’s overalls. I promise I have tried many different brands and materials. All fails. These Carhartt overalls are amazing!! Fit perfect, soft, don’t shrink. The straps don’t get shriveled up or twisted. The clasps do not come undone, but still easy to go to the facilities. I enjoy gardening and we have livestock so they are not just pretty, they work hard too! If youre on the fence...do it! If I win the lottery I’m going to buy every color! I’m 5’7”, 155 I ordered a Large. They are roomy enough to put a sweatshirt under but comfy enough for just a tank in the summer. Seriously...they are the bomb!
I sized up and got the 2xl and I have to say I'm really happy with how these fit. I carry my weight in my butt and thighs and I was worried they would be too tight in those areas, but they're nice and loose, more so than even most "wide leg" women's pants. I was also concerned they would ride up in the crotch but there are no problems with that either. I have free range of movement, squatting, on my knees, whatever, with no fear of wedgies, camel toe, plumbers butt, any of the normal nonsense I have with pants. I can't believe I've been sleeping on overalls for years. The fabric is softer than expected but feels decently sturdy, not like my memory of my dad's Carhartts but good enough for me so far. These aren't flattering at all for my shape but I do like the style of them much more than I expected. <br /><br />I got these overalls planning to wear them for renovation projects around the house to replace the old sweats or ripped shorts I use currently for painting and housework. I'm pleasantly surprised to say they've really become my go-to for all kinds of work. I wear them for painting. I wore them today to do a deep clean of my bathroom and I can already see myself gardening in them. I highly recommend these.
I like them so much I haven't take them off. ??
Great for barn and horse chores. I don’t have to constantly be annoyed by my shirt riding up or coming untucked or getting hay in my underwear!
J’adore ma nouvelle salopette! Donald le canard l’approuve aussi!
very comfy and excellent quality, great fit but i got the short and they are still a little long in the legs, for reference i am 5’6”
A little big in the waist area, wish the women’s had elastic near the buttons like the men’s do. But overall fits perfect! Love them so much! <br /><br />5’7” and 130lbs
Absolutely perfect.
Love these, got the short version Bc I’m 5’3” and they fit excellently although if I was any taller I’d get the regular.
Favorite! I need these in every color!
A bit disappointed :-( I had been waiting for a re-stock for a while and was excited to finally purchase when my size became available. I am rather petite and in the past have purchased Youth Boys (size 16) work pants, which are extremely durable and thick. These overalls feel like sweatpants in comparison. Even with the double-knees I fear that wiping a blade could rip these. I'm very disappointed that they are not more durable! Especially in comparison to a child's piece of clothing... I really wonder what child would be doing work comparable to a farmer. Male colleagues of mine have Carhartt overalls, and theirs are not the soft fabric, but the thick and durable one. What message is Carhartt trying to send? That women don't work hard and therefore don't need durable clothing? I wish I was big enough to fit into the men's overalls, at least then I would have some durability. Otherwise, the fit is great and they are comfortable, but I wasn't necessarily looking for something comfortable - I was looking for something to work hard in.
Love these!! I do a little woodworking and these are perfect!!
She absolutely loves them. Wears them every weekend working outside and while working with the horses.
Bought the brown extra long for my 5'9" daughter. Looked so good that my husband and my other daughter bought overalls too (she also bought the jean overalls!). Woman's bib is slightly wide so had to shorten the straps quite a bit to minimize the side gap. Usually don't like brown but this shade is really neutral and distinctive. Quality is excellent. Roomy but not baggy across the hips to allow movement. Received many compliments!
These are so comfortable! They’re a great fit for yard work and the perfect mid weight for early spring through fall in the PNW.
Good product but I would size up!! I love these overalls and their many pockets fast shipping to canada
Love them. So soft and roomy, will buy more when these wear out.
I love these overalls, I think they're stylish and they keep me warm when I get off the river from kayaking in the winter! I find them most comfy with a pair of leggings underneath. The only complain I have are about the straps - they twist to come unattached and the latch is sometimes frustrating to get back in place. Otherwise they're amazing! I ordered a size medium regular and they fit well aside from being too long (145lbs and 5'5).
I purchased these to wear while working in my pottery studio and for working in and around the house. They are so comfortable! My only complaint is that I have a long torso and my straps are almost maxed out, so having an elastic section would be nice. I love the deep pockets! Looking forward to purchasing more colors! Please add black!
I went through three pairs before I found the right fit but these are absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable and the fabric is soft and not scratchy/itchy. I’m 5’11 and 150 lbs and the Small Tall fit amazingly. I’m never taking them off. I feel like buying a hammer or something.
Love, love, love! The fabric is soft and comfortable for all day work and allows for stretching and bending that goes with outdoor work. I ordered a second pair on the first day I wore them.
I am a 5'6" 130lb woman. I ordered a size 4 tall in these bibs originally, they fit pretty well, though the shoulder straps are extended as far as they'll go and they're a bit roomy around the middle. I then ordered a 2 tall thinking the only dimension that would change would be the width. The 2 talls are actually much shorter in the torso, to the point that they give me an instant wedgie when I button them up. Longer shoulder straps would fix the problem, but the whole torso section is smaller than the 4 talls. I love these bibs and will end up altering them to work for me, but the size change is mildly frustrating.
They were slightly bigger than I was expecting. That said, I still really like them and use them often!
My new favorite thing!!!!!
I did buy these with the intent of snow pants, so note they are NOT waterproof. I love them, I love how flexible they are, they are not too thick, and they are super cute. But these particular ones are not waterproof. I do wish I had gotten waterproof ones, but I am happy with these. Would defiantly buy from them again!
Wanted to like these really badly. I have long legs and finding Tall overalls in my size is not easy. <br /><br />Website lists ‘Tall’ as 33-34”<br />I ordered a Tall in these and they don’t even go past my calf , I am 5’11” with a 33” inseam . I measured these and being generous the inseam is just under 31” . <br /><br />The clasp is the worst. It’s basically and awkwardly shaped tab that you have to rotate 90 degrees (hard when it’s attached to a strap you are trying to pull right, angle it just so .. slide it through an I’ll sizes roughly cast metal slot. , square peg in a round hole type of deal , slide the neck of the tab at just the right pitch and angle so it slides down a Chanel without getting stuck , and then spin the Tab just right while jiggling it into place so it doesn’t get stuck halfway . <br />My kids have puzzles that are easier. <br />If you have to pee ... good luck getting them unbuckled in time - fair warning:
These fit me great and look great as well. Here's my issue. I originally ordered men's overalls of the same price. Had to return them because my torso is a bit shorter than there "one size fits all". The material quality of these overalls, which again are the same price, is drastically different. The men's were twice as durable and used way more material(or at least tougher material). Give us equal quality clothing!...or at least a cheaper price. Seriously.
I love these overalls! Very comfortable and stylish for every day wear, whether you need to get out and get dirty or just run errands! Would definitely buy again.
I absolutely love them! I’ve been wearing them almost every day. They’re easy to dress up and great to do work outside and explore. Great fit not too baggy but not too tight so you can layer underneath.
I wear a size 10P in pants and they're baggy.
I really do love these overalls. Cute, perfect weight to be worn with no pants under or with thick leggings/long underwear. I took the fit test and it told me to order x-small short, which I did. For reference I am 5'5", 128lbs, 27in waist, 35in hips, athletic build. I am able to easily wear thick sweaters and sweatshirts underneath. HOWEVER, the torso does seem to be a bit too short when I bend, even with straps as long as they go. I also agree with other reviews, the shoulder buckles are not as good as the typical overall buckles, but they're really not that bad either. Bottom line- buy it!!!
I am obsessed with these!! They are comfortable as heck, perfect for my job, and so durable. I get so many people wondering where I got them. I just wish the straps were a little longer or had the elastic straps on the back
Ok, truth be told, I wear these to lounge around the house. I can't stop baking in them either. I also carry my beer around in the beer bib. See photo. I would not wear these for work or doing actual work other than painting, housework or crafts. These do not feel like they are built tough for my day job. But they actually do fit hammers and all of my tools I need. I just prefer something more rugged and not fashion for work. I love all the tiny teeny little pockets everywhere. It makes a utility nerd like me geek out and feel understood and loved. Also I'm 4'11, size 10 and I purchased the Medium Short. They are baggy, fit over my base layers and I still need to roll up the bottoms but they are cute as heck.
You will definitely need to size up
I can’t believe how horrible the bib clasps are. Whoever deigned these clasps never wore overalls. What was wrong with the time tested and worn clasps that are on all other brands of overalls??? Why try to reinvent the wheel? What an epic failure.
Always out of stock !!!
I'm 6' and about 180, and I ordered the xl tall in chocolate and they fit perfectly and look amazing. Plenty of pocket space for your tools and whatever else you may need to carry. The straps don't have the typical round button closure- its a metal piece that goes through a slot instead but that's really no biggie. My only complaint is that the legs are super baggy and could do with a little tapering.
I love my overalls and wear them a lot, but the buckles. Clearly someone designed these that never had to unbuckle a strap quickly while hurrying to the bathroom. The buckles are super annoying. Enough so that I won’t buy another pair with that design. I want regular overall buckles.
I love these overalls. I tried a couple other brands that left me feeling boxy, but these are great! They fit like a glove. I am petite and the short size is just the right length. I am 5”1 and 130lbs and bought Small (shorts) I live in Michigan so I wanted to be able to wear a hoodie under these. If you’re under 115 lbs you could do an xtra-small. I’m really excited to take these camping!
I'm 5'7" 120lbs. and ordered XS Regular. I have a long-ish torso. These overalls fit great in every way, but rode up to the point that it restricted (comfortable) movement. This was with the straps let out all the way. I first considered exchanging these for a XS tall, but it looks like the tall sizes refer to additional length in inseam, nothing else, so it won't help me. I'm going to try ordering a S to see if the torso is longer; hopefully it will not be too baggy everywhere else. It would be helpful to have actual torso measurements included in the size chart for a work garment that is full-length and most likely worn with movement in mind. I have no idea right now if the S actually has a longer torso than XS (and if so, by how much), despite a call to customer service. Fortunately, shipping/returns is free for the time being. If the S is still too short in torso (or too baggy for my frame), I'll be looking elsewhere for work bibs.
Comfortable, durable, and great quality
I really like these. I am 5’8 and weigh about 200lbs, most of that weight in my bottom half so I was worried about sizing in these. I ordered a large-tall and they’re perfect. Not too long and not too short. They have a slight amount of stretch to them so they fit perfect. The only thing I don’t care for is the clasps. I think they should go back the the traditional ones but im sure I’ll get used to it. Also the hammer loop barely fits 2 fingers so not really functional.
I'm gonna start off by saying that I love the overalls I ordered, I got the medium regular, and for reference, I am 5'9' and 158 lb. The reason why I said some of you guys are lying is that I ordered a medium regular instead of a small because some reviews said that they ran small while giving their height and weight. I could have easily fit in a small regular, the medium is a little roomy for me, but I honestly don't mind it. If you're in here trying to get some sizing guidance, just measure yourself and use the chart. the material is thinner and stretchier than I expected, but I don't really find that to be negative, since the description does say its lightweight.
I love these. I have had them for a year and they are super light and comfortable, perfect for spring or fall weather when it’s warmer but still a bit cool
As the title indicates, I fell 12 feet out of a tree doing yard work wearing these bad boys and they didn't get a scratch (unlike me). Really though, they're unbe-leaf-ably great. Abso-root-ely fantastic. Every time I wear them I re-bark to my family about how wonderful overalls are (don't need to wear a belt!). I'm 5'8" with a pretty muscular build (165 lb) and a long torso. I have the small and they fit great. I have to extend the straps most of the way and I will probably get a tall for my next pair, but they still fit well and I don't have an issue with the length. I've had them for about 6 months and use them pretty regularly for gardening
I really like the overall fit and material but the straps and buckles are cheap and poorly designed. Carhartt should have used real overall buckles instead of the cutesy, flimsy, poorly designed versions on these overalls. The buckles constantly twist and flip around and the fabric on the straps rolls and doubles over making the overall look and function of the straps very poor. Women want real work clothes!!!! I know that Carhartt overalls have become very trendy in urban areas, but really....why make us women who actually use these for their originally intended purpose suffer for the sake of cuteness? I'm going to ask a seamstress friend to rebuild the straps on these with "men's" buckles and heavier fabric, but I shouldn't have to do that....
I'm 5'6, 140lbs and got these in a small/regular and they juuuust fit perfectly, if they were any smaller they would be too small for me. The length is great with boots (just touching the ground). Super soft, comfy to move in, crouching etc... I can wear a t-shirt or thin thermal underneath but no room for a sweater under. Highly reccomend! They are the thinner material, great for summer outdoor working in the garden etc...
I work in construction and wear these bibs 5 days a week for 40 hours. I wear the Crawford Double Front Bib Overall, size large / tall. I'm 5'10 and weigh 180 - pear shaped with an athletic build. <br /><br />The pros:<br />- Different size pockets in front and the large zipper pouch. <br />- Deep front pockets. <br />- Light-weight and durable. <br />- Relaxed fit throughout the legs. <br />- No tightness in the stomach or hips.<br /><br />The cons: <br />- The shoulder straps are not long enough. I have them extended as far as they go and when I bend over I simultaneously get a wedgie and the straps dig into my shoulders. Not fun. <br />- Shoulder straps are not razor-back designed so they will rest on the outside of your shoulders and slip off or dig into the soft part of your shoulders. You will need to force the razor-back shape by criss-crossing the should straps in back and hooking them into their opposite positions. This is a life-saver tip someone at work shared with me.<br />- I would like to wear knee pads in my bibs but the positioning of the "pocket" for the knee pads is too high. When I'm working on my knees the padding is resting on top of my thighs instead of under my knee-caps. <br />- On the right leg there are two pockets which I use everyday to hold tools. Unfortunately retrieving my tools is a frustrating task sometimes due to there being a saggy hammer loop that's placed right above the pockets which blocks access. <br />- Front pockets are lined with thin white fabric which poofs out and is highly visible while wearing. Makes bibs look and feel ill-fitting, even when they aren't. The canvas material of the bib should be extended further into the pocket but it's been skimped on.<br /><br />I spend about $1,000 a year with Carhartt and will continue for the next 20 years. If they knew about the discomfort and unusable knee pads I would hope they'd make some changes. <br /><br />Carhartt prides themselves on having the back of the worker by making durable and comfortable work-wear. I hope that they are open to improving their design. <br /><br />With all these design flaws and discomforts, Carhartt is still the best option for women who do physical work for a living. If you're looking around for a bib then you really don't have a better option.
Pretty stoked. I'm 5'4 and 125 lbs. I usually wear a size 4 and so I got the small. They feel great because they're loose and that's how I prefer it. I got the regular length which is perfect when I wear boots. Without shoes I just have to roll them up once, which is no np.
For Mother's Day this year, I knew I wanted a pair of overalls to garden in. I did so much research, and most of the ones I found had super long inseams. I'm a short gal at 5'3", I didn't want to spend the money on something I was going to have to cuff to the moon or have hemmed. I was so excited to see that Carhartt offered their overalls in different lengths. I got the 2XL in short (I'm on the curvy side) and it fits like a dream! I love the flex in the fabric, and the feel of the fabric. The knees are reinforced and it has nice deep pockets. The crotch doesn't hang down low, it fits right where it needs to. I had to shorten the shoulder straps all the way, but what I loved most of all was that the inseam was perfect! Ladies if you are vertically challenged like myself, and are on the hunt for a pair of overalls, you won't be disappointed with this pair!
The fit is good, the fabric is soft and comfy, and the hardware is absolute garbage.<br />The adjusters do not hold, so as the day goes on the crotch of the pants sink toward your knees. The thin fabric on the straps bunches in the chintzy adjusters and creates a hot spot on your shoulders. The fasteners are the worst, they are very hard to fasten/unfasten, as you'll figure out the hard way if you have to pee in any hurry.
I love wearing these everywhere. They're perfect for work, and really comfortable. I like to hide snacks in some of the pockets.
Ok- long but detailed review, i hope this helps you all considering purchasing these! I've been wanting to get Carhartt overalls for a while now so I finally broke down and bought these. I am an avid lover of the Womens Crawford double front pants and I wear a size 4 regular in those. For reference, I am 5'7", about 137 lbs with an athletic/swimmers body type and narrow hips. I bought these overalls in a size small regular and at first I really loved them. However, as I've worn and washed them for about a month and a half now, I can tell that they wont last as long as I hoped they would. Working in the woods and around blackberries my legs kept getting snagged, even through the double front area. The 8 ounce thickness is nice for hotter weather but does not protect you as much from sharp, stickery things in the woods. Also, I began to notice the threads unraveling towards the bottom of the double front layer after a few washes. Another thing worth mentioning is the straps. I wish the straps could be adjusted a little longer as I have a longer torso, but throughout the workday they do tend stretch out and the torso length becomes more comfortable. Also, the straps aren't as sturdy as I hoped they'd be- the strap adjusters tend to slide from the position I set them in and twist around throughout the day. <br />Overall, these overalls would be nice for light indoor/outdoor jobs, but are not meant for heavy duty rough work. I will be purchasing the 12 ounce weathered duck version to see if I like them better!
I am 5'9" and 140 pounds. Most of my height comes from torso so I usually have trouble fitting into overalls, one piece bathing suits, rompers and jump suits, etc... (A friend of mine is 6 foot tall and my torso is longer than her's!) I usually have to size up and then I am floating in them. However, I got a medium and it fits me perfectly! I even have room to extend the straps more if I need too.
Just received these amazing overalls and I must say they exceeded my expectations. I'm 5'1" and around 110 lbs so I was a little worried they would be too big but they fit me perfectly! Very comfortable and have plenty of room to work in with out feeling confined.
I ordered size small - short and I am 5’3” - 128lbs and these fit perfect and are comfortable. I don’t like binding or heavy clothes, and these are neither. I look forward to wearing. I am a admin on a job site, but I also do work on site when not busy in office. If they get dirty they clean up nice and leggings and sweatshirt fit well underneath. I was worried about leggings because I have big legs, but it is still comfortable:
I am 5’5” and 145 I got a large regular. I could’ve gotten a medium but they suggested to get a size up if you’re gonna wear extra clothes under it. So mine fits perfect with the hoodie. Overall in love so far!
I bought these to use when working on my vintage Airstream reno. I love that Carhartt makes Talls for women. It is always super annoying when my workwear pants and bibs look like capris. The fabric feels like it is already broken in which is nice.
I absolutely love theses bibs! I have both dark brown and carhartt brown and I wear them almost every day in my wood shop. <br />I'm 5'3/ 115 lbs. the extra small / regular fit great!
I can’t believe how great these overalls fit! I’m 5’2 so I have a difficult time finding anything that isn’t too long on me. I ordered the Small Short and they are perfect. I can wear these to work and they are super cute! Also the material is soft, and there is enough room if I need to wear long johns underneath. I will be purchasing these in other colors.
Although the size/fit guide is accurate, ladies with larger butts, may have a hard time finding the right fit. I needed to size up to accommodate my butt, resulting in everything else feeling/looking a bit oversized, even to a girl who tends to prefer relaxed-fit looser clothing. I would still recommend these overalls regardless. I suggest ordering both sizes if you have a curvy booty.
I love my overalls. I work outside all day so these keep me nice and warm.
FITS GREAT, TRUE TO SIZE. LOVE THE COLORS AND THE FEEL OF THE MATERIAL
I have put these overalls through the wringer while camping and working outside over the last 2 years. They have held up extremely well through rough wear and a lots of washes. I love that they have some stretch, it makes wearing long underwear underneath more comfortable. Plus, I get tons of compliments on them! I'm 5'2, 115 lb and wear an XS. I roll the pant legs, so I like the regular length.
I ordered the tall in medium. They would've fit well except for the torso wasn't long enough so even though the inseam length was perfect, I couldn't wear them comfortably even with the shoulder straps adjusted to max length. Had to return.
Please make these in black! Uniform rules often only allow black or navy. These are great for hot weather but you do sacrifice some durability with the 8oz instead of 12oz. Worth it. Also the hammer loop needs to actually fit a hammer please! I'm an engineer and I carry around a bunch of tools all the time. Big tool pockets are important.
I’m upset and very disappointed. I’m a carpenter in construction. I can’t even fit my hammer into the loop. What??? I wish Carhartt would just make the same overall as the men’s, but with a women’s sizing. Seriously. I would like a grey overall that actually functions.
I love these bibs! They are soft and move well when wearing them. They seem to fit a little looser, I probably could have sized down since they do have some stretch to them but I wanted to make sure they were comfy and not restricting. I did have to fully extend the shoulder straps all the way, but I have a long torso and shorter legs so things are usually too short on my torso. I recommend these for sure. Not as durable material as the traditional duck bibs but should hold up just fine.
just received my overalls and i love them! very comfy right out of the packaging, and they seem to be made very well. my true size said i was an extra small but i didnt believe it and i went for a small. I am 5'6 and 130 pounds, they fit greatl i did have to extend the straps on them pretty much all the way out but i dont see that as a bad thing.
Agreed with what the rest of the tall ladies are saying - the length of the legs has been adjusted for the tall size but it seems they forgot to adjust the torso portion or the straps. Even with the straps fully extended, the overalls were ridin' up. I'm 5'9" for reference. Really wanted to love these but had to return!
It still boggles my mind that most womens work pants have no stretch all together. These are great that they have enough to move with you while you bend, climb, lift and carry!
I am feeling frustrated that the "tall" size does not also extend the length of the torso. I'm 5'9.5" so I'm on the taller side (but not even that tall), and I was really looking forward to finally getting myself a pair of work overalls. These were too tight on the crotch, even after extending the straps all the way. I see that other people have left similar reviews. Hoping Carhartt can add some more length to the straps soon. Had to return.
Super cute overalls! I read a ton of reviews to get an idea of what size to buy, used the true fit guide, and took exact measurements to ensure I got a size that fit me. I purchased small short- based on what the site recommended. I’m 5’5 120lbs. They run extremely small. Even with the straps as long as they can go, the inseam fell above my ankle. Easily 3 inches shorter than reported on the size guide. The crotch would ride up, making them very uncomfortable to even walk in.<br />The most disappointing thing with this purchase is the customer service and return policy. They do not offer exchanges. Therefore I had to pay $7 to ship this item to myself and since they didn’t fit I paid an additional $9 shipping to return with NO REFUND! I wasted so much money in shipping costs for an item that didn’t fit, based on their recommendations, without having a product that actually fit me at the end of the day. Will not be purchasing from them again.
I'm 5'7"
Overalls can be tricky to fit-- I love that these come with different inseam lengths. The Tall fits my 5-8" frame perfectly, as I have long legs and a short waist. Can't honestly rate the durability yet as I just got them, but they seem very well made.
These are the best overalls! I wear them at least once a week and they eat better with every wear.
I first bought the dark brown, then i bought the tan. I loveee these overalls. I wear them at work, Hiking, and lounging around the house. Id like to see these in black
The biggest problem I have with these is that they're a little short in the torso for where I want the top of the bib to be but that's just preference!
I ordered a Small Tall, being about 5'8" and wearing size 27 or between 4 and 6 in most pants. I guess these overalls weren't made for my proportions, because there doesn't seem to be a size for me. The torso was too short, even with the straps as long as possible, it still felt like it was riding up. The rest of the fit was baggy and loose through the hips and legs. They're not meant to be fitted, but it felt like I was wearing large men's pants, a lot more roomy than I expected for a size small. Not for me, and maybe not for you if you have a long torso. Super cute though!
As a gardner these are my got to. Perfect weight that I can even wear them in the heat of summer with a tank underneath and I dont get too hot, Winter I wear long johns underneath and Im set. All the right pockets for my tools. Im on my second pair, I love them so much.
I was really disappointed in the quality of these overalls compared to the same price men's overalls. I originally bought the men's overalls because the store I bought them at, didn't have women's overalls. The men's pair were heavy duty, thick, and stiff. When I traded them in the for the women's pair that was the exact same price, they are thin, soft, flimsy and nothing compared to the quality of the men's pair. I'm disappointed with Carhartt that they would sell a women's pair for the exact same price as men's and not provide the same quality. However, if you are not looking for a heavy duty overalls then this is definitely a great pair! They are really cute and fit well for someone with hips. I usually wear a 12 or 14 and I bought a L and it fits perfect. I am 5'6" and then regular pair was the perfect length.
I originally ordered the Sandstone bibs in a M (8/10). They were way too large so I opted for these in a S(4/6). They fit much better and aren't baggy or bulky. They are a little short in the torso for a thicker bottomed female, 5'7", normally size 8. But quite happy with the fit thus far. Cant wait to see how durable they are :)
Fit was much bigger than expected, I was very disappointed.
Great fit (I like them loose fitting), light weight, perfect for working in summer heat! Front zip pocket great for a note pad or phone. And flex fit makes super comfortable for getting into tight spaces or if doing lots of bending. I always wear bib coveralls when working and I'd highly recommend them to anyone
Great durable bibs. I love that they have the different inseams as well.
Love these and perfect fit for my height.
Absolutely love it! So surprisingly soft and very comfortable. I’d wear to school or to work on the ranch!
Perfect size, super comfortable! I love it
These bibs are durable enough to withstand daily habitat restoration work, yet flexible enough to stay comfortable throughout the work day.
I am in my 60s and got these for gardening, including on-the-knees weeding. They look fine for overalls but I am more concerned with function.Fit: I got the small. I am thin with long legs. The length is just right and they did not shrink when washed at all. The small is pretty big on me - I can take them off without unbuttoning the side buttons, but that makes them nice and roomy.Function: They are comfortable and cool in warm weather. I like the strap fasteners, which do not unhook themselves. I love the top zip pocket for my phone. I wish they came with a side zipper to put knee pads in easily. I use my strap-on pads but they can ride up and cause the shoulder straps on the overalls to loosen.
I renovate old houses and I have been looking for functional overalls to work comfortably in. I ordered the women's version, which I ended up keeping and also ordered a pair of the men's as I thought they might have a more 'relaxed fit' and better pockets. I liked both styles, but kept the women's Crawford Double Front Bid because of the material and also the pockets. I originally ordered a medium in the women's but returned for the small. The medium fit nice in most places, but was too large in the hips (usually never an issue). The picture shown is a size medium. I am 5'5" and 130 lbs.
I wore these for a week long timberframing course in Vermont. They were true to size, comfortable, and durable.
These are the best overalls Ive found but still leave a little bit to be desired. The stretch honestly is not much, especially if youre used to comfy stretch jeans. The elastic band on the other style would be helpful for bending, so I wonder why they took it off this style. Theyre also short and no long length is offered. Im 57 (which is not especially tall) and theyre about two inches too short for me.I understand the need for bibs to be tough but what I really want is a light cotton stretch blend for working around the house and pottery. The search continues.
Just received this week and work today for the fist time. They are very comfortable and durable without being stiff or hard to work in. I love the color brown I chose too!
I loved these overalls, but they are poor quality and ripped almost immediately. I work outside as a gardener, and these just did not hold up nearly long enough. I expect some holes from what I do, but pants should at least last a month before breaking down on me. These ripped after only a few wears! Super bummed 'cause the pockets on these bibs are just perfect. Still on the search for comfortable and durable work pants!
Love these overalls! Pretty much am living in them since I got them. Super comfy. I’m 5’2” 135/140lbs and I ordered a medium short and they fit great! No hemming needed! I volunteer at a Therapuetic Horse Riding barn and they are awesome for the chores (caring for horses, mucking, haying, etc). I also am outside a lot for work and gardening. They appear to be well constructed. Only complaint is the hardware used for the straps. I wish they had the old school button clasp. I find the ones on these r a bit cumbersome but I highly recommend these overalls!!!
Since my outback coveralls were overtaken by my hubby I decided today while at my fashion superstore, to buy me a new pair. Love the lightweight, stretch high quality sewing, updated strap buckles, zip pocket in front, no more loosing my phone when I bend over, Love the double fabric knees. Love these!!!! Which I could afford another pair. You won't be disappointed. Bought a small, usually wear a size 8 pants. Small fit better.
I'm 5'2" and the short fit was still a little too long. The side pockets are also deeper than the men's fit. Nice lightweight overall for summer work.
super comfortable bib overalls, great for a day toiling in the soil. Thinner material than classic Carhartts means they already feel broken in and are ready to go from the start. Sizing runs large, so buy a size smaller than you would usually. Wish they had a third button along the sides. Only 2 buttons leaves large gaps and I feel like over time will be prone to easily unbuttoning accidentally. Yet I would still buy again and recommend to friends!
I wanted to love them but I have a long inseam and the average pants just aren’t long enough. I read reviews thought maybe they’d fit but were way to short. Sadly had to return them. Quality bibs though and fit perfect except for the length. I’m 5ft 8 inches just with longer legs.
seriously, if these came in black I'd live in them. please consider making them in different color ways. most comfortable pair of bibs ever.
I am typically a size 2 or 4 so I was leaning toward a small, but because they were stretchy, I decided to just try a XS and i'm very glad I did! I'm 5'5", 33-25-35 and the straps have to be loosened all the way but I'm stoked about how they fit. They are super cozy and I'm already thinking about my second pair
They are so cute that when I got them I tore the tags off and wore them. Right away after bending and moving around I regretted it. I am about 5/5 and these are just too short. I have other womens Carhartt pants that fit fine.
Exactly what I need for outdoor work in garden. Zip pouch in the bib sold me on this style, and I love it. Fabric is durable but comfortable weight. I am 6’6.5”, weigh 122 and XS regular fits just right.
My favorite thing in my whole closet! Currently working on getting away with wearing this everyday. They are comfy and easy no-brainer that get me stacks of compliments. Functional and cute to boot! I'm a 5'2 shorty with a longer torso, roughly 112 lbs., and a regular length XS worked perfectly. The straps are adjustable, giving ya plenty of wiggle room. Hey universe, if you are looking for gifts for me- this is it! Just Carhartt overalls in every color.
Very unflattering. I’m returning them to the store. As for durability, I would guess they won’t hold up too well for me. I wear my bibs every week to work. I have the men’s version and the woman’s version. The women’s version are wearing out in the seat in both pairs. This particular pair that I am returning, I would love for the summer, as they are not as heavy as the others, but they looked horrible on me.
I ordered these in dark brown, and the color is nice. There's a slight stretch to the fabric, which feels great when I'm squatting or crawling in the garden. The legs are pretty full - I think this is to accommodate knee pads inside. I'd prefer a slightly narrower leg to tuck into rubber boots easier, but that's getting fussy.
I purchased these a little over a month ago and I'm smitten. Carhartt always runs a little large for me. I'm 5'4" and ~125lbs and order XS in all things carhartt. These fit great, they are roomy but not so huge that I'm swimming in them. They seem to be made very well and I'll get a lot of use out of them! Already thinking about buying the darker brown, as well!
Great!! Love the fabric the fit and all around great product
I have not boughten a pair yet, but I will as soon as they make the legs on these longer! I’m 6’1” and an apprentice but need more overalls that don’t make me look like a joke. I’m not going to waste money ordering when I know they won’t fit me at all. Carhartt, you would bring in a lot more customers if you made these with 36” inseam.
Tough gardening jobs include digging deep in the dirt. I used to be frustrated by pants falling down from the rear as I bent over a lot. NO more tugging at the falling pants! I'm free to concentrate on the job at hand without any wardrobe mishaps!
A little short but great
The fabric is comfortable but not very durable. I've worn them in the shop about 4 times and the tool loops are already torn. I'm disappointed and am still searching for what to wear to work.
I love these overalls! They are a wild dream. Perfect pocket placement super functional. Easy to quickly get in and out of so no worries in the bathroom. They are also the perfect length. I’m only 5’3.5” and usually need to cuff pants. Not these. Easy to adjust the shoulder strap and they aren’t aggressively long straps like other overalls I’ve owned. I ordered an 8 regular and it fits beautifully. I know what I want for Christmas, these in the other color.
So comfortable! Love them!
Love. Love. Love. Perfect fit, exactly what I expected, great quality.
Nice rich brown color, a little more fitted than men's.
I was sad I had to return these. I'm 5'5" and I ordered a Medium. WAY too short. I had the suspenders at the longest length to try to make up for it, but ultimately for the money spent I would prefer my clothes to fit. I may try to order them in a long and just hem them. But I was surprised as I'm not exactly tall. Returns aren't free, nor do they just have an exchange option so I ended up losing 20 bucks on this just to send them back. If I reorder I have to pay for shipping again!
Really liked these bibs, but unfortunately they are too short. I noticed the inseam being 30 a lil too late after I ordered. I'm 5'8ish 130lbs. Small was perfect
I got a pair of extra small brown carthartt overalls and I love them. They are truly comfortable and the clasp of the straps is really functionable
These overalls are AWESOME! They are very soft, super comfortable, and most of all flattering to your figure. I'm definitely going to pickup another color!
I absolutely love these overalls. Carhartt has come such a long way to improve womenâ??s work wear. The material and construction are on point. The only thing off is the lack of length in the inseam. Which in turn, is exacerbated if you have a large bust. I hate to do so, but I'll have to return these.
The attachments are a bit flimsy, we will see if they stand up to a few wears or not.
Absolutely wonderful, great for all occassions! Just wish there were more color options available so I can buy more!
This overalls fit true to size. I am fairly small (5'2" and 115 lbs) and the xs short fits me amazingly. Next, these overalls are so comfortable. I feel like I am wearing pajamas in them. I never want to take them off. Last, they are durable. Although they are comfortable, they get the job done. I work in a manufacturing plant and they have stood up. I will order another pair when/if the xs short carhartt brown color is restocked.
I like the coveralls for the most part.<br />Pros:<br />- Nice material<br />- well put together<br />- nice pocket selection<br />- I like the stretchiness<br />Cons:<br />- Fit when I got it, SHRUNK IN THE WASH, I would have expected it to be pre-shrunk for such a high price -_-<br />- I don't know what kind of hammer they think you can fit in the hammer loop, it's a joke<br />- Clasps are difficult to use<br />Overall I like it but had I known it would shrink I would have likely got a larger size. I would have preferred hemming it if it was too long than having to find some material that matches to protect my ankles from mosquitos.
I need to exchange them because they run lace and when they finally came a week late they were dirty
True to size, I picked up these bad boys in S/S (small/short) and they fit large enough around the hips to look casual. The shorts are a little shorter than I expected, 5'2 and they hit at that ankle knob. Look great rolled up but may be funny for winter. Cheers!
OUTSTANDING!! How do you make a fabric so soft and easy to wear yet so friggin' durable? Not even a fray in the knees or seams. And BRAVO for considering us lefties on the leg tool pocket. Appreciate the zip front pocket so I don't lose my phone when I bend over, too. Bought these at my local Big R and now I know why they sold out so fast. I'm 5-7, a muscle-y 180 and the XL fit perfectly. I'd buy another pair, but these won't be wearing out anytime soon. Thanks for such a good pair of real work wear for women!
The bib fit, but were like 4 in too short. no Long option available.
These just came, and I was so sad when I put them on! The large fit me in ever way, the overalls are very soft to the touch and comfortable, they are flexible and have handy pockets, but the legs land high above my ankle bone! I am tall, but I never need to order tall sizes in pants, usually. Please offer a Tall size!
I was very excited to receive my overalls. First I love carhartt and have lots of work wear by them, I usually end up buying men's carhartt because it's easier to find. I do hard physical outside gardening and labor. After wearing my overalls 5 times the strap on my bibs started tearing!! Come on Carhartt. This doesn't happen with my men's bibs I own. These are soft and lighter and yes that's great but not if the quality is compromised. I'm 5'6 and 140 and the regulars are barely long enough. Overall these are great if you want to look like your going to work hard, but if your actually going to work hard then ladies we will have to keep buying men's work clothes;( good luck to all you hard working women who want clothes made tough enough to deal with what we put them through!
The sizing runs small with this overall, and the inseam is very short. When I tried them on, I was less than impressed with the fit; I looked like I was ready for a flood. Would be great if Carhartt thought of the curvy tall woman when they design their women's line. I will be returning these ASAP.
These were what I wanted for my birthday on the 18th of may and I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that I probably wear them almost everyday. They are already so comfortable straight out of the package. Not too heavy so I can see myself still being comfortable in our hot summer months. The regulars run a little long for my 5'3 frame but that is they way I prefer them. Couldn't ask for a more perfect pair of overalls. Thanks carhartt! Now I just need to get the brown pair as well.
Great quality. Unfortunately I had to return it. Wrong size.
I am 5'6", ordered a medium and wanted these to work because I love the zipper pocket however, even with the straps extended all the way the pant legs didn't reach the floor ... I was afraid they would shrink and would be highwaters so I had to return them. They were buttery soft and felt like they would have been so comfy had I been able to keep them.
They are a perfect fit, loved getting these as an adventurous Mother's Day present from my boys!!! They have some stretch and aren't too heavy either which is a huge plus, I stayed warm in the cooler temps in the mountain area and when it warmed up I didn't get hot with the breathable fit.
Just got these in the mail. Love the lightweight stretch material for hot summer work. The fit is very good aside from the inseam length. I'm only 5'5" and ordered the size M reg, which is my usual bib size, and the hem hits me above the ankle bone. I will have to return though I plan to reorder the longer length. Fingers crossed. Other than the fit issue they appear to a great summer alternative. Love the added zippered pouch
I was amazed at how well these fit! I'm not very tall (5'1) at I honestly can't find pants that fit me but I ordered these in short and they fit me exactly perfectly! They move very well for bending over and working in. So happy to find these they're perfect!
Just got my Crawford overalls and so far I love them. They are comfortable and can move freely wearing them. They seem true to size. I am 5'2" and ordered the short. The length seems perfect. They are light weight and soft, not stiff. I rated 5 star for durability, but haven't really put them to the test. I am rating them based on the durability of other Carhartt products that my husband and I wear. I ordered them primarily to do yard work.
Finally! A pair of work overalls that doesn't make me look like I am swimming in a pair of chunky, stiff men's pants! Material is soft and flexible, lays smoothly and falls instead of just bunching up or creating "boxy" lines around women's curves. Actually shows off your figure, but still has all the functionality and durability needed to get jobs done. I can say that these may be the cutest work overalls I have ever worn. Nice contours in the rearview area to make your fanny look good while scooping manure or using your tools! I would wear these out for fun when not working.<br /><br />Thanks, Carhartt!
I have a pair of men's sandstone bib overalls, size 30 x 32, in the heavy duck material. Have loved them for years but wanted something similar in lighter material for hot days. These would have been perfect -- fabric is awesome, great pockets... But the small regular I ordered is too short. I extended the straps as far as possible and the hem barely reached my ankles (and then the bib was also awkwardly low on my chest). For reference, I'm 5'7", wear size 0-2 in Gap/LOFT clothes. Would be great if these had the variety of waist/inseam options offered for the men's overalls (though maybe there's not enough demand to support that...yet :)).
These overalls are great!!! Super nice fabric, not to stiff with a little stretch! However, Fit is small to me! I was very close to returning and in retrospect really wish i did--BUT only to exchange with a LARGE. I never wear large- but these will shrink up and before wash fit was perfect, after i regretted drying them...SIZE UP LADIES_ and you will love them! Would buy again!
love my other pants and bibs in short, these are a few inches shorter than those, WTH!?! Other than that, great.
It makes me look fat
Best quality, comfortable <br />I bought this for my wife cause she is doing plumbing work with me <br />and it works great and she loves it
I wear these when I'm in the woods helping my husband, tending to my bees and gardening. They are awesome and hold up so well. Love the soft fabric finish
Love the fit. Pants legs could be a bit more slimmer. They are very comfy.
My coveralls are as great as I hoped they would be! I love the softness of the new material. Fit true to size.
So comfortable, plenty of pockets, perfect for the farm and art classes! I am 5'2" with an athletic build, somewhat bottom heavy. The medium short size is perfect for layering underneath and provide a loose fit. Would go for small short if I were trying to be more stylish...
Fits well, looks good, and contains many pockets to put various items in. I am satisfied!
SUPER sat shipping! Came before you said. Amazing quality, so comfortable , even after washing! Will def be buying more:)
Nice style though
like them comfortable
I was so excited to get them but they were smaller and less stiff than expected.
Perfect!!!!! Material feels great. Not tight or restrictive. I am between a small and medium, chose the small and fits greatð??? Will purchase another pair for Gardening and Cleaning!
I want to love these... love the material, love the cut, fit across the hips is just right- roomy, but not baggy. Unfortunately, the regular length is too short for me at 5'7". Had to return. Will definitely purchase if tall length becomes available.
These bibs fit great, and work great. I can move and climb in and out of equipment without being held back by fabric. I am so pleased with these bibs I ordered a second pair to have one in each color.
I enjoy the zip pocket on the front, when I let the bid down items don't fall out. I have to get a length short and it was perfect.
