They are very way more than I expected I am very cold natured have ordered 2 more pair would love a least one more pair but have to save up money first.

These pants are exactly what I need for cold weather hiking, and other outdoor activities in the winter. Love the pockets, too.

Great fabric and I love the lining! I have a size 2 tall, and they are both very long (I just cuffed them) and also very large for the size. I’m 5’5” 125 pounds and usually wear size 4-6/small in pants. By comparison, the carhartt slim fit jeans are perfect for me in this same size (2 tall). Unfortunately these aren’t available in 0, or I would get that size, as crazy as that would be. These work fine and are really warm, so I’ll use them with a belt.

Warm, soft and comfy. Just right for Maine winters. The waist is not too high or low and overall the fit is good. They are a little relaxed/slouchy but that's because they are a size 6. If I had bought the 4, I would have had to suck the gut in some more for a less relaxed fit. This is the second pair I've bought...love them

It has Ben extremely cold here in Montana lately. They are a godsend. I heard Thursday night we go to -1 in the early Friday morning.

These pants are great! Just what I wanted. I did cut off the hammer loop to make them look more like girl’s pants, but no big deal.. Nice and toasty warm! Thank you!!!!

These pants are very warm and easy to move around in which is great. A for comfort and the cut is decent enough but I do have to wear a belt with an hourglass figure as I have to size up to get over my hips. Where these and all the Crawford pants need changing is in the durability of the fabric. This fabric snags, tears and rips out pretty dang easily. If I am around the ends of welded wire fencing, field fencing or barb wire these pants don't take run ins with it well. I have also had Crawford pants rip out easily getting on and off of the tractor

Nice warm comfortable pants - keep the chill off of my legs. Would have given them a 5 star rating but a bit too long - so had to hem them up.

Excellent purchase. I've been looking hard for women's fleece-lined pants that don't pill but aren't ski pants. What luck! There was only one left in my size and I got it. They fit well and look great. And Carhartt quality besides.

These are nice quality and warm, but way too baggy. I'm a size 2 and the waist is really the only part of them that fits. Wish they came in regular fit instead of loose.

These are great winter pants. They keep me warm

Im 5’8" and slender but not petite. Size 2R fit me better in the hip, thigh and leg length but the crotch rise was too short so I went with the size 4R and a belt. The relaxed fit accommodates long underwear and still remains “relaxed” but not huge. Belted 4R waistline sits comfortably and perfectly at the top of my hip bones. My strategy next time would be to try size 2 Tall and hem or cuff the legs (like the Carhartt model) since the Tall sizes have both a longer crotch depth and longer legs. Regular sizes all have 32”legs (Measurements per live chat agent—Size Charts don’t go into this detail). Cotton canvas and fleece lining have not shrunk in the wash or dryer; the legs remain true to length. Since these work pants keep me warm during Colorado winters, I don't mind the loose fit. Must become familiar with Carhartt sizing; their pants seem to run one size large—in the hip and thighs. I like the cozy fleece and canvas combo. They are comfortable and warm. Ran a little big, I ordered my usual size 6. Could’ve possibly gone one size smaller but I like them a little baggy. I expect they will last me many years. Pockets are great. Pleased with this purchase!

My first pair of fleece lined pants and I love them! They feel like sweats, look good enough for work.<br />They are bulkier than regular pants, but they hang fine on a sturdy hanger.

I absolutely love these pants. I am always cold so putting these on and running outside to shovel snow or feed the animals is perfect. <br />they are way too long, however, I have to put a 3 inch cuff at the bottom which fills with snow. Working on finding someone to hem them for me so they don't drag in the mud and stuff this spring.

These were perfect for hiking in the woods! Kept me warm in New England!

Comfortable. The regular length was longer than the other regular length in different carhartt styles so beware of that if you have borderline short legs lol. Nice pants though.. warm.

I purchased a pair two years ago (original fit) and have enjoyed them.....although with wear they become baggy on me. <br />I purchased 2 more pair (same size) this year and although the description mentions "original', they came stating 'Loose Fit", but these are WAY BAGGIER than my first pair and REALLY HANG on me. Since I'll be wearing them around the farm and barn, I'll keep them.<br />BUT, Carhartt needs to design and market to women....jeans that fit and are flattering!!!

Warm and cozy! I wear them for outdoor work but believe it or not I also wear them to keep warm in my home office in winter. I know, that's so uncool, but they are great for both! They DO run large - you can definitely go down a full size.

Does what it's intended to. Very warm, even in extreme temperatures and conditions. Extremely please with my purchase. The only thing I didn't like about these pants. Is that they don't have a smaller size than a woman's 2. Need to make them in juniors sizes.

These are the best pants I have ever owned!! My giant 6.5 in phone fits in the back or front pockets!! Even the small pockets are usable! And the fleece lining keeps me warm when I am cold all the time. I work outside and they're plenty durable. Oh, and they actually stretch comfortably if you squat down.

I had to return them because they sent loose fit, even though I had ordered slim fit. The packing slip said slim fit, but the tag on the pants said loose. It was very disappointing because they are now out of stock.

These pants are so warm and comfortable! They feel like wearing sweatpants. I ended up getting a size smaller than I normally wear, based off of other reviews. This was both a good idea and a bad idea for me. Having sized down these pants fit me perfectly in length (short, I am 5"3.5'), in the legs, and booty. They look and fit great!<br /><br />The only downside is that the waist band is weirdly small and tight compared to the rest of the pants, and sits high in the back and goes down lower in the front. Almost as if the waist band perfectly sits on my hip bone. These fit great, but because of the abnormally tight waist band along with its location the pants bother an old hip injury of mine. I wear them with a belt, and open up the button if I am feeling too much discomfort. I am bummed about this, but it is something I have to deal with anyways.

These are my favorite pants for winter outdoor work. They are super soft, and durable and they keep me warm. My only complaint is that I wish there were more options for inseam length. I am short and even the short inseam is way too long.

Who wouldn't want super cozy fleece-lined pants?! Love that. Impressed with how soft the canvas was--like they'd already been broken in--much softer than 'regular' carhartt pants. My only complaint is how wide the lower leg is. Ironically, they are kind of drafty because the leg opening/calf of pant is so wide-leg. An inch or two narrower (more straight leg than boot cut) would immensely improve these pants as they are clearly designed for cold weather.

Super comfy and durable, but sizing runs large. I’m 5’7, 125lbs and ordered size 2 long. Gotta wear a belt to keep em up, but otherwise they’re awesome.

These pants are so cozy warm. They block out the wind and the feel of the fleece against my legs is soft and warm. I didn't even need to wear long johns (although there's enough room if needed.) The first time I wore them, the seams felt thick and uncomfortable, but I got used to them very quickly.

Kinda small, very soft lining.

I want to like these pants. I really do. But for someone that NEEDS a mid-rise, these ARE NOT mid-rise. I am a tried and true 16L mid-rise curvy jean (from Old Navy). I purchased the 18R (out of stock in longs). I would have felt more comfortable in longs but regulars work just fine. However if I do not wear a tucked in shirt you will see more than you want to. I’m going to keep them but unfortunate that they are advertised as a mid-rise and they definitely are not!

Fit is too big and hippy. I ordered the recommended size (10T, 5’11”, 30waist, 40hip), and the initial fit was hip skimming, not tight. As the day progressed the pants loosened and were falling down. I had gained two extra inches of room in the waist. Carhartt took the return with great customer service. Really a bummer about the fit because the fabric was like wearing pajamas…except they got too loose to hold heat in well.

I'm 5'10" and 110 lbs, ordering size 2 Tall. These run large on me, even after a couple hot washes and hot dryer. It's almost like Carhart made these larger, to account for the added fleece lining. I could've used size 0 Tall.<br />Now for the good! Wow! These feel like slipping on a pair of heavy weight pajamas. The fleece is so soft and warm, without feeling weight heavy! Even the outside jean material, is very soft and supple, with zero stiffness! The jean material is holding up well, to all abuses.<br />I can over look the added roominess, to get the warm functionality I'm looking for. I just belt up to keep in place!

These pants are soft, fit slightly large, but that's OK as I intend to wear them with long underware or leggings underneath at times. I will probably order another pair one size smaller for wearing without layers!

These are not the Crawford original fit pants of the past couple of years. They are much larger they’re called rugged flex loose fit and are much larger and much longer even though I got the short. Not the same pair of pants at all. So incredibly disappointed. I have returned two pairs of them.

Extremely disappointed in the NEW style. They claim to be exactly as they were 5 or so years ago when I purchased my pants, but they couldn't be more wrong. If you are new to Carhartt, it won't affect you. I have 2 pairs of the gray color and 2 pairs of the flannel lining pants. Even their flannel lining pants have changed. The legs are extremely loose fitting even though they claimed to be the original fit. I have had the same 4 pants wearing them consistently for 5 years and just wanted to update the wornness of them. I guess I will have to go elsewhere since I can't go any shorter or smaller. I clearly love the old style since you can tell by the photos that I wear them alot. Sad day.

I’ve bought 2 pairs of these (gave the first to my sister because she moved “up north” and missed them so much I bought another pair for myself). The are incredibly soft and the cold is nothing when you’re wearing these. So soft on the inside and so durable (and full of pockets!) on the outside! This is my second pair of these pants, the first pair was purchased 2 years ago and is showing signs of wear working on a small farm.<br /><br />The fit was the same EXCEPT the length - this time the size 6 regular is a whole 2 inches longer than the previous pair! That is enough extra fabric for me to have to alter them. Not a big deal but a star deducted for it.<br /><br />Size 6 regular fits me perfectly, I am 5'7" and weigh 143lb

Incredibly comfortable and keeps me warm working outside all day! I am 5'10 and 140 lb. I bought the size 6 long and they fit a bit loosely. Washed and dried them a few times and they fit better now. I think I will get another pair in size 4 and see how they compare. I also prefer a bit lower waist than these have but that's just the fit and I'm not unhappy with them.

I bought these pants to wear on winter walks. I have only worn the Blaine jeans in the past and didn't know what to expect of the canvas Crawford pants. I was delighted with the brushed finish, which makes them soft and comfortable. The fleece lining is a perfect level of warmth for my outdoor activities. Carhartt remains the best pants brand for me with respect to fit.

They were too long and you were out of the shorter size ...so not good. Disappointed.

These pants are the best thing ever! I had fleece lined jeans before that have given out so I needed to replace them. These are way more comfortable, warm, the material and making of them seems much more durable and the fit is WAY more flattering!

I read the description and it was described as Original Fit fitted through hips and thighs. But what arrived was Loose fit. I called customer service who told me Carhart doesn’t make Original fit anymore.<br />I had an original fit pair in past that I absolutely loved. Sadly Loose fit is way too big. <br />Sad that they’re not made anymore. But a good quality pant for sure

Love my charcoal gray fleece lined pants. I purchased them to keep me warm on my daily dog walk. Today the temperature was 36° with a bit of wind and I stayed warm. The size fit perfectly, I ordered my normal size. The quality of the fabric and sewing is outstanding. Thank you for a great product!

These were perfect for what I needed them for: working outside or camping in the cold/rain. I’m 5 feet flat and 115 lbs—the fit was as perfect as it could be off the rack, especially after washing and drying them so they shrank a bit. I wear a belt for extra security, but they are fine around the waist without one. Loose fitting (a good thing). A bit long for my short legs, but I’m able to either roll them up or the extra length sits on top of my boots. Super warm and comfortable. Buying another pair now!!

I am a very hippie girl. 5’7” and 160 lbs. These in my regular size 10 fit well. I love the extra belt loops which help eliminate any waist gap. I do wish the rise was a bit higher to help with tucking in upper body layers. I also wish there was a tapered leg option that would be easier to tuck in my boots. When you cuff these you just get mud all over the fleece at the bottom of the leg. But they are super warm and cozy. They get the job done.

Very comfy and room to move. Great for cooler spring or fall work or working in cold basement/garage. Great wind blocker. Also great for wearing around the bonfire and keeping the side not facing the fire warm. I also wear them around the house as lounge pants.

I bought these pants for work as I’m a carpenter. I wanted good quality pants for winter. The pants themselves are great quality. My only issue is the size as carhart’s smallest size is a 2. I’m 5’2” and 105 lbs and these are big. I washed them hoping they would shrink but they didn’t or if they did it was very slight. Definitely will be a second layer as these won’t work without something underneath. Would be nice for carhart to make them in a zero too as I don’t feel like I’m abnormally small. It’s hard finding quality workwear for women in general but, it’s even harder finding it for us smaller girls.

I’m 5’9” with long legs and even the tall size is ‘dragging on the ground’ long for me which I absolutely love especially when you can throw on a pair of work boots and not have to worry about muck and snow getting in your socks. I’m about 140 lbs and the size 4 fits great - bit loose in the legs that I could throw on a pair of fleece leggings under the pants for the painfully cold days, but snugger in the waist so I don’t have to worry about them falling down. I live in Northern Montana in the winters and this is my every day go-to pant. Get yourself a pair, you won’t regret it.

Perfect for Vermont winter! Cozy, warm and comfortable. Only wish they came in that classic Carhartt tan. I’m 56, 5’4” 135 lbs, size 6 is perfect. They look cute cuffed so no worries about being too long. Love them and will probably get a second pair!

Not for short people. I got the size 8short. I'm 135 and 5 foot 2. Looked ridiculous. They were like 5 inches too long in length. And the waist band was digging in really tight.

The sizing is so far off standard sizing. We are keeping the second pair of pants even though they are still way big, but returning the size up that is the standard size she is.

I received my slacks and I basically bought them to wear inside my house. I’m short so I need to roll up the legs. I’m 5 feet tall so I’ll need to get them hemmed. But, all-in-all, I love them because the flannel inside is so nice and warm. I love all the pockets. I tried these on the first time and they are so comfortable that I didn’t want to take them off. I bought three more pairs. These should definitely come in different colors so I don’t look like I’m wearing the same pants every single day, all winter long! I followed the advice of the reviews and went down a size, perfect! I bought the black pair and they are different than the charcoal/grey ones. I like the fit of the charcoal ones much better. The legs on the black pair do seem wider. I honestly can’t say enough about how soft these are. I think I’m going to be sad when summer comes around and I have to go back to unlined pants.

Okay I don't wear leggings or yoga pants - these pants are amazing! Super flattering, more like jodhpurs - nice boots and a chunky sweater and these are warm, fashionable, slimming - I love these pants!

So cozy and comfortable and warm! It almost feels like I am wearing sweatpants to work. I wear these to work in Antarctica and the Canadian high Arctic; sometimes layered on top of some long johns when it's really cold.

These are great pants. I have been wearing them for a couple of weeks now and love them. The only thing is they run large. I ordered a size 6 which is the size I usually wear, but they where to big in the waist. I had these taken in by a tailor and ordered a second pair in size 4. Very comfortable. Almost as nice as wearing my microfiber PJs outside while I work.

I love these pants! I work outside all day and my legs are usually freezing in the winter but these are so warm and the fleece lining is extremely soft. They are a little loose in the legs but that's great for the really cold days when I need to wear thermals as well. I also love that these sit just below my belly button because I cannot stand high-waisted pants!<br />For reference, I'm 5'6, weigh 140 and ordered a size 6. They're slightly loose in the waist as well so I'm going to try a size 4. The length is perfect for me.

Warm and comfy. The fleece is so soft. Some shrinkage, particularly in length, after drying on low heat which the tag says is okay. But this is standard with Carhartt so I sized up in the first place to make sure they would fit after shrinking. Tight around the butt but I am curvy, should be perfect for someone with less hip

This is the second purchase of these work pants. We live rural and have livestock and these pants keep us warm all day. We love them.

The pants are great. Same fit as my other unlined cathartt pants. Runs true to size. No need to upsize for the fleece lining. My size 4 was perfect. Should keep me warm for another Covid winter of outside visits.

My First and Second fleece lined pair I am still wearing after a year of consistent use. This was my third and fourth pair I have bought because they fit Great are durable and warm. Not to mention the multiple pockets that hold everything from a tiny earring that can go in your special front right pocket to a hammer! I work with children and have had milk spilled and puddles splashed ALL Over them and I didn’t feel a thing. They keep me warm ALL Year Around! Wanted to wear while doing work in the winter. They were too big on me and were a safety hazard for me while working. I hope one day Carhartt will make smaller sizes for women.

I'm an electrician and I ended up buying multiple pairs of these bad boys once winter hit. These were the perfect weight for buffalo winter and they felt like I was wearing a comfortable pair of sweat pants. I am not easy on my pants and I put these through the wringer. They survived hurricane me and came out more or less unscathed. <br /><br />The only hole I have in them is from when my linesman's poked through the tool pocket in one pair. this was easily fixed by putting them in handle first.<br /><br />I'm 5'2, my waist measures 29", and my hips measure 39." The size 4(Short) fit me like they were made for me.

Super cozy and great in colder weather. These got me through a very cold and snowy February. Would purchase again.

These are my fourth pair of these. We have a berry farm and I can't live without these pants. Love, love LOVE them!! I am out pruning or working in the fields in inclement weather and these pants are a game changer. I live in them constantly.

Excellent for keeping warm, while still being able to work comfortably.

My husband surprised me with these for Valentine's Day and I couldn't love them more! So comfy and warm, especially on our daily morning walks or sitting around the fire with friends. I'm in between the 8 and 10 and opted for the larger size so I could pull them over another pair of long johns for extra chilly outings. They are great!

The pants are a bit long and fit snug on my hips but they're so warm-and there are plenty of pockets! I got a size 4 and am 5'4"/130pounds. When wearing boots the pants don't touch the ground but otherwise they're grazing the floor.

The lining on these is SO soft. My only complaint is right now dirt shows so easily on them, I'm sure over time it will be less noticable. I liked that they are warm without making you hot. I wore them to the zoo with my 4 kids in 70 degree weather without sweating, but certainly would not have worn them at temperatures above that.

Look and feel great.

I have two pairs and wear them most winter days. Great for farm work, winter walks, outdoor winter farmers market. Much more comfortable than work pants over long johns. They run large in my opinion. I'm 5'4" 130 lbs no curves. The size 2 fits snug and the size 4 fits loose. As far as quality, I feel like the inseam is placed too far forward from my inner leg, plus the lining and the pant shrink at different rates so I'd recommend cold wash and line drying - even though it'll take forever for them to dry. These are definitely for function and not fashion.

I really liked them but I used the size chart and they were huge on me. My waist is 37” so I got the 18. They were at least two inches too big. However they seemed very well made, soft, warm, and comfortable.

Very disappointed. Completely different fit and feel from the Charcoal color. The black pair is loose in the leg to where I'm swimming in them.. not warm, might as well wear them when you need to air some shit out. Between the wind draft up the leg from them being so loose and the outer material more of a cloth than the Carhartt Canvas The Charcoal pair are true carhartt material although they run small in the waist. Yes both pairs are the same size .. an 8.

These pants are amazingly warm! They aren’t super stylish, but it doesn’t even matter because it has allowed me to be outside for extended periods of time without my legs getting cold. They are so comfortable that I wear them around the house too. Should have purchased two pairs because I don’t want to take them off to wash them.

They are so comfortable and warm. I have been living in them since I got them. Great for COVID also if you want to go out to eat during the winter months. Aint no thang, i'll eat outside, I got my fleece lined Carharts on.

These have a low waist, lower than Blaine. So if you have a bubble butt then just forget it. Even standing up they sit just above my crack. If I try to bend over they practically slide off my bum. Bummer.

I would share a photo but my hubby has them on currently. My husband is very picky and usually has trouble with pants since he has thick quads and bottom. We went up one size in the waist when we ordered. My husband loves these pants!! My husband said they are extremely comfortable and keep him cozy warm when working outside in the elements. The material is extremely flattering and as always made well. I just returned to the website to see if they offered more colors than shadow. The shadow color is very nice charcoal color and a perfect neutral to go with anything.

They fit great without being bulky

I have bought Carhartts for a long time and absolutely loved everything about these pants until recently. The new ones I purchased are way bigger then the old ones (not only longer, but wider in the leg). The other thing that's changed is the pocket on the right side (it is now too small to fit my phone). Also, the material doesn't seem as durable. I noticed they are made in a different country then the old ones. Definitely disappointed as I'm 5'3" and 110lbs and it's super difficult to find work pants that fit. Bummer Carhartt, you disappoint.

The pants are great. Took me some experimentation to find the size that worked for me. I am not used to having a choice of short, regular and long pants. When I realized the regulars had to be hemmed at least 3 inches, I ordered some shorts. Perfect!<br />It so comfortable to put then on when it is cold. They are a little bulky but it is not a big deal.<br />What is wonderful is Carharrt's customer service. I tried on and sent back 4 packages of pants before I settled on the color and length and size.

Bought these for some winter barn pants and maybe hiking. I’m so impressed and happy I bought 2 pairs. Love the fit and give they have! Definitely recommended to everyone who asks!

I'd really hoped these would be the insulated workpant I have been searching for. Sadly, they are not. I ordered a 10 (normally between 8-12 depending on manufacturer) and they fit well in the waist and hips. While I realize the cut is straight, the legs were huge on me and seemed disproportionate to the rest of the garment. I have muscular thighs/calves and even with boots on, I could double the leg width and it still would have been sufficient. With the legs being so wide, insulated doesn't even matter as there was such a wide gap around my leg.

The pants are warm but they are huge! Even hot wash and dry still fit like a 10 I wear and orderd an 8 according to the size chart.

These are my favorite pants! So soft! The waist on these is perfect. My black pair like these in the same size has a smaller waist. That's my one complaint about Carhartt is the huge variation of fit within the same style.

Comfy pants, durable and warm. They do run big however. I usually wear a size 2 in Carhartt and had to order a 4 as the size 2 was out of stock in all options. The advantage to a looser fit is they are great worn alone or with a light thermal layer underneath when it gets really cold. I wsh I could have gotten these in a size 2 but if they run true to size they would have been slightly large as well. Overall a comfortable rugged pant and great for cold weather activities.

I love these pants! They are comfortable, true to size for me and the classic fit allows for free movement. They are warm. I've been out in weather/wind below freezing without any issues. I haven't been out in any major precipitation so I don't yet know about that aspect. The pockets are roomy and anything I put in them is secure. I would buy them again and would consider trying another type of pant from Carhartt as well. I bought them based on a friend's recommendation and I would recommend them to others.

I bought a new pair of size 2 regular to replace my pair from 3 years ago. The new pants are a little looser in the hips and waist, and they are about 3 inches longer than the old pair. <br /> I also compared them to my brand new pair of Carhartt's size 2 regular crawford pants (the non-fleece lined version of these pants). It's the same problem: even though they should be the exact same size, the new fleece-lined version is bigger.<br /> I've attached pictures of the pants next to each other for comparison. <br />Carhartt needs to address this inconsistency in sizing, I shouldn't be two different sizes in what is essentially the same cut of pants.

They felt wonderfully soft and warm but both the 6 and the 4 were equally too roomy in the waist and bunchy in the front. Wondering if the size 4 was mislabeled. Sent them back. I’m 5’9” and 130lb.

I live on a lake that freezes most every year. My many windows overlooking the lake, which are double paned, let the cold in. Your fleece lined pants are keeping me warm inside my condo and when I take my dogs out. I love them!

I'm a big fan of lined pants, and these are my favorites right now! They are super soft inside and out. The fleece lining is very warm, making these the warmest lined pants I have. The Crawford pant features are all intact. These fit looser than my unlined Crawford pants but you will probably want them like that, because if these fit too snug, you might swelter.

These are my new favorite pants. With the fleece, I don't have to wear tights and stay warm. I now have both the black and blue.

I would recommend this item! I was worried that the waist would run tight but it was just right. I like it that the fleece is the color of the pant. Like the side pockets.

ive ordered 3 pairs of these from different places. all size 12SHORT. only one was right. the one i ordered direct from Carhartt was one of the long ones. have to roll up. One pair has the front left pocket sewn in half. unuseable. Costs too much to return.

The pants in size 2 are the smallest size available and they are just too large! I am not a super skinny woman but I am petite, 105 lbs and 5’3”. These pants swim on me to the point it’s not possible to wear them - even as a loose fit. <br /><br />Please make a size 0 or a petite version for your customers under 5’4”. <br /><br />Otherwise, the pants to appear great - soft fleece and well structured rugged surface. Wish they fit me so I could keep them.

These pants took a while to arrive but were well worth the wait. They fit perfectly, and that's saying a lot with my short frame. I could not find the size I needed last year, so I bought a pair once size larger, and I nearly live and sleep in those. I hate taking them off to wash them because they are that warm and functional for me on the farm. I am overjoyed to have pair #2 and to have them be the exact size I needed. And yes, I have them on today!

This pant does run slightly big, but it has been really warm for working outside in the fall, and into winter. Soft and comfortable. But, I work in the landscape, and the outer material did tear a bit when snagged by a branch or thorny vine.

I bought these pants for cold weather camping, and they are very warm. I generally like my pants to be long, I am 5feet 2, and weight 127 lbs. I originally purchased a regular size 4, but it was too long and exchanged them for a short 4. They were perfect!

This pair of pants has become my favorite for dog walks, hiking and outdoor projects. I’m 5.6, 125 lbs and size 4 is great . A little roomy in the waist.

Fits true to size. Extremely comfortable and very warm. The mid rise is perfect, no picking up pants all day long. I wear these pants when I’m working at a nature preserve, keeps me warm and dry all day. I ordered size 8L, I am 5’9” 150 lbs. I typically have issues with pants being too tight on my thighs but these are amazing! I wear with a belt due to a bit loose on the waist, which is typical for me.

I said true to size because the fit up top is true. This review is about the length. I haven't worn these yet and will probably return them (begrudgingly) because they are great quality, seem like they'd be really warm (not sure how durable as I haven't used them) but... they're way too long. I'm 5'3" and ordered the SHORT and they will end up dragging on the ground unless I have 3 inch heels on! This is always annoying with pants because not only does it affect the fit and look of the rest of the pant leg but the bottoms begin to fray and get holes. Nor do I want to be dragging my pants through the mud anyway. Disappointed.

While some inconsistencies exist in the waist size, the four pairs I have are all breaking in well and performing under pressure.

So glad I went directly to you rather than trying to find these pants in stores!

First off, I wish these pants fit. They are super durable and warm. I am not really sure what body type would fir these well. I got the size 6 short, normally a perfect fit for me in other brands. The waist and hips on these is uncomfortably tight, but the from the thighs down, the fit is very loose, and even the short length was way too long. The loose legs allowed the cold breeze to sneak up into pant legs negating the warm fleece lining. The tight hip and waist makes me not want to wear these for yard work and hiking, my original intention of purchasing. I honestly wish I could return these, but already got rid of the original tags. Nothing wrong with craftsmanship, just bad fit.

These pants are gloriously warm and perfect for early morning dog walks. They run BIG. I ordered one size smaller than I usually wear and could have gone another size smaller still.

Super cozy! I wore these for outdoor work all day yesterday in the cold and stayed toasty warm and comfortable (but not sweaty) all day. Much more comfortable than long-underwear under pants. Size 8 tall is plenty tall, good fit in the hips, but the legs are a little baggy - I'd love a slightly slimmer version. Also, the fabric is very soft, which makes them comfortable, but they don't feel like they'll hold up to blackberries or other snaggy work. But overall they're a win.

I bought these for use in Alaska and at 30 below Two weeks ago they were perfect! The cut is roomy enough that I can also wear a base layer under them. They fit well and washed well! I even bought a second pair because I liked the first ones so well’. The fabric is wind resistant and the fleece lining is cozy and not too thick!

Every pair of Carhartt Crawford pant I've purchased (in the same size) fits differently.

I purchased these fleece lined pants for my daughter who is an electrician and has to work outside during the NH winter months. She has tried the flannel lined (which she loved) but after trying the fleece lined, she has requested more. Warm, comfortable, but still appropriate apparel fo on the job.

These pants are awesome. They are so incredibly comfortable and warm and very stretchy. I've honestly been wearing them as comfy house pants with the intention of buying a second pair just for work. Love them!

very comfortable. The inside fleece feels great. When first washed, the waist band is too small by about ½” while the legs are very roomy. After a couple of wearings the waist stretches out and is comfortable to button.<br /><br />The fit is a little small in the waste and a little large in the leg, but warm and toasty.

These pants are so soft on the inside. I have not washed them yet, but I am sure they will shrink a bit. They are a tad bit big.

These are some of the comfiest pants I have ever worn. When I come inside I keep these on instead of changing into sweats. I’ve only worn them dow to about 2 degrees but they were still warm.

Bought them for a teenage girl to wear while working outside in the cold. She loves them! She says they feel like sweatpants. They are lined, but don't look bulky.

Yet to be tested but I like how thick the fleece lining is and they’ve added just enough pockets. They definitely run big and aren’t winning any fashion contests (Carhartt, why are you trying to give women pancake-butt?) but they seem durable and warm enough to last some long days outside in a Midwestern winter.

These pants are soft and cozy! If you do anything outside, these are a must! They did bag out a bit, but that's fine with me. I drive for a living so the extra room was good! I normally wear a 11/12, but bought a 14, had I known about the bagging I would have gotten my regular size.

You won't win any beauty contests when you're wearing these pants. The fleece lining makes them pretty bulky. The fleece lining also makes them AMAZING. These pants are toasty warm and the lining ins SUPER incredibly soft. I love that they offer short sizes for us petite gals. Huge pockets and lots of them. Bought these for work but will get a lot of use out of them at home too.

I wear an 8-short. I'm 5'2". The other Carhartt 8-shorts fit perfectly. These pants are a bit long, which is unfortunate.

They are extremely comfortable, warm. But...size 6 is really an 8. Still, I love them. Would have appreciated an extra pocket down the side but you can't have everything.

Most amazing fit, I'm curvy and was so nervous i would need to size up or they would not be stretchy enough for my day to day work in a garden but these have to be my number 1 favorite pants I have ever found for work. Also warm enough for the -20 degree weather in Montana. 10/10 would buy again!

Just bought size 2 to replace a pair from 4 years ago that are starting to wear out in spots that I can't patch. The new size 2 is about and inch to 11/2" wider than the old pair in the leg!! You have had complaints about lack of small/petote size and say you will send comments to design team but clearly this is either just lip service or your comments to design team are falling on deaf ears. Either way very disappointing that I'm going to have to return and look for another brand since i don't think washing multiple times in hot water will fix the problem.

Love them, comfortable, durable, and they don’t look terribly unstylish. Just practical and essential as a goat owner in windy and cold Palmer, Alaska!

Excellent in the wet

This is my first Carhartt purchase. I’m a small lady, 5’ 4” 105 lbs. These pants are roomy and incredibly comfortable. One of the best things I noticed when wearing them all day is that I never became too hot! I’m a very active worker. I’m always moving between indoors and outdoors all day. These pants kept me warm outside and not hot or sweaty at all when I was in a warmer spot.<br />I’ve worn them 4 days in a row now. I need 3 more pairs!

Love these pants, they're warm and comfy to wear. Unfortunately the "short" length is still about 4-5 inches longer than what I need (I'm 5'3) so I have to fold them up so they don't drag on the ground.. I'm used to it by now with all their other pants, hopefully this can be changed in the future though!

I absolutely love these pants! Ended up scoring these on clearance for only $24.95 which is a steal. I would of paid $45 lol. These pants are warm! They keep you warm too. Perfect for walking the dog on those cold days. So far i’ve worn them in 20 degree snowy, windy weather here in NY and i’ve been fine. Nothing permeates - the wind does not come thru them! I even just stood there while my dogs did their duty and i was not at all cold or even phased by the weather. These plus my warm thinsulate carhartt coat (the $150 traditional full swing men’s one) and i was set. I was def not at all cold. I love these pants so much that i want more pairs. I’ve worn other fleece lined jeans for awhile and they never fit right. They’ll either have the size that fits you but they are short length or the length you need but the waist is larger. Idk they do that but they do and it’s annoying b/c for me to fit into the ones i need, unfortunately they’re long and then that dragged thru snow and slush - it’s just why? Now i have these pants by carhartt and they are perfect! These fit! They are the length and waist i need and i don’t have to worry about my pants getting ruined anymore or caked w/ salt b/c of too much length. Perfect pants - highly recommend. I’m going to buy more.<br />These will def keep you warm. The fleece is nice and soft but it is thick too. The pants shell, while they feel soft to the touch, i sense they are def of some type of thickness as well since the wind and cold does not get thru them.<br /><br />After having these, i no longer want to wear anything from other brands now. They are wind proof and very warm, but still look nicer than jeans and can be worn inside without roasting. I love these pants!

I LOVE these slacks. Living in the Northeast, there are plenty of really cold, brutal weather days in the winter, but my five border collies don't care. They want me outside with them working, training and ball playing. With these Carhartt fleece lined pants, I can do that and not need three or four layers underneath. They are a little stiff, but overall, wonderful to wear in our weather.

I liked everything about the pants other than the fact that the waist was too large and I have to wear a belt. Please know that my waist is not particularly slim. The problem is that the waist of the pants is a little too generous. Bought Carhart gear for my team at work.. We have been in search for a gear that can hold up... And we found it! Thank you Carhart! the guys loved their new gear so much that I had to try the ladies gear! All hands down I really wasn't expecting these pants to last more than 1 min out in the wet and cold elements.. But I was wrong.. Surprised I even fell and got stuck momentarily in a huge deep snow berm walking out to my car to get to work..

So warm, comfortable and durable! I love these pants. I am an always cold person that works in a location with cold offices and lots of outside time so these pants are so helpful. Wearing lined pants is so much warmer and more comfortable than wearing long John layer. Wish I learned about these years ago. <br /><br />Pants are well made, feel durable and have plenty of generous pockets which are often lacking in women’s pants.

These insulated pants are perfect! They have the extra belt loops and fit great in the waist and hips.<br />They don't bind when you bend. In wet weather the lining still keeps you dry. Finally they keep your legs nice and warm!<br />Only wish had more colors to choose from. Like brown and navy blue

The pants are nice but were uncomfortable to wear for any type of work , they fit like ones for a model on the cat walk - Its difficult to find comfortable real work pants for women and the limited selection in work clothing stores makes finding these pants almost impossible to find -- the Hip/ thigh area shape in reality don't is too small in design than a work should be but its nice if your fashion,not for functionality Guess making them a stretch pants with the fabric lining makes it more difficult to size

They look great and keep you warm! I bought them for my daughter who works on a farm and she really likes the pants. I would recommend these pants and might buy a pair for myself.

I have been looking for good non-jean lined pants for walking my dog in Minnesota winters. FINALLY found these and they fit from the get go. Snug without constraining. Handy pockets for keys and other items you need to store to free you hands. And I love the dark gray color. Hope they add more colors. Highly recommend these pants for outdoors people!

Perfect For Everything!

Kept me rather warm and never thought about cold in frozen Banff Alberta. Lightweight and breathable is what I was looking for. Although I ordered a men’s Crawford pant it came in a women’s and although I sized to a T it was still about 3 sizes too big which is why I’m giving it a solid 4 star.

These have kept me much warmer while working. Nice deep pockets too

I have four other pairs of Crawford original fit pants, all size 10 regular. But the fleece lined ones I recently bought are longer and too big in the waist. I will try a size 8 and see if that is any better. Also wish they came in denim. I still have my denim fleece lined carpenter jeans from 8 years ago but they are wearing thin.

I llike these pants as they are comfortable and very warm. I bought the black and it attracts pet hair and lint like crazy. Not a big deal for me. They do run large as I’m true size 4 and they are a bit baggy. I would buy another pair of it came in more colors.

They’re pretty much true to size other than the waistline is a little big so I have to wear a belt with them, which is fine. Would absolutely recommend these to anyone. So warm and comfortable and durable. In the future I would love to see them made more waterproof. However I did love them so much that I went back and purchased a second pair.

I bought my first pair of these pants last winter and barely took them off for two months. I was so happy to find tall sizes on your site this fall, and in black! I really do love these trousers, my only complaint is that, while they fit perfectly when they come out of the wash, by the end of the day they seem to be a size larger. Nothing that a belt won’t fix, but it would be nice if they didn’t stretch out so much during the day. I have owned flannel lined jeans in the past, and was worried that the fleece would be too warm, or clammy, but it absolutely isn’t. Great pants for those of us who work outside or who live in cold houses! Kudos to Carhartt all around for their tall sizing. Many other brands make “tall” sizes, but few fit as well as Carhartt’s. Also, Thanks for making some normal colors. Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean that I want to wear pink or purple work clothing.

My only regret with these pants is that I did not know about them sooner. I love to work in the yard and walk my dog in the cold weather, but I could never keep my legs warm until now. These pants have it all - keep your legs and thighs warm with the fleece lining, look sporty and hip on your body, pockets for everything, and a perfect fit. I bought the gray color in a size 10 and want to wear them everyday with my boots. An engineer recommended them to me. Love them! Carhartt is now my favorite brand. In fact, I have them on as I write this review. Don't miss out!

Love, love, love these. We have farm animals, so I am outside quite a bit in the cold New England winter. These are now my daily pants. Best part is that while they’re good and warm outside, they’re not oppressive inside. And they’re super comfortable. I thought they might be stiff, but not at all. I like them so much, I bought two more pairs.

All I can say is that I work in 2 buildings of which the bay doors are opened and closed all day. I am beyond happy with my fleeced lined Carhartt pants! I own two of them. I just wished there were more color choices because I would have bought more.

I find these much warmer than the flannel lined pants and I work outside in -40 degree weather during the winter. The only problem is when you are a little larger the usual problem of the inner thighs wear through.

I had to return them as the size 2 was toooo big!

I’m 5ft and about 115lbs got a short in size 6. Drag on the ground if don’t roll them up once or twice and snug on the waist; don’t need a belt. It really is like wearing pajamas all day. So far have worn them in a few single digit days with sleet snow conditions. Have gotten them pretty wet and never felt water seep through to my skin. The multiple and deep pockets are great. Have had to hop fences and never got held up or felt pull or tightness. Are baggy and not form fitting. Only wish they came in more colors. Will be getting another pair as they get dirty fast, because I wear them so much for work on a farm.

I’m from California and just moved to Minnesota. I went on a walking field trip with my students when it was about 10-15 degrees outside, and my legs were never cold. They’re incredibly comfortable - fleece is the best. Highly recommend.

Cozy, like wearing pjs and quite warm.<br />My only complaint is I need the utility pocket for my job, I also prefer reinforced knees for my job and Carhartt hasn’t yet come out with reinforced knee, carpenter style flannel lined pants. So I will be ordering more of these as I wear out the knees within weeks.

For the price it would be nice if they were warm like the guy pants but they are better than regular pants

Love these pants! It’s only been about 15-20 degrees outside and all I’ve needed were these pants and a base layer and I’ve been completely comfortable. I will be also wearing bibs with these pants as it gets colder since I do feel a little chilled in the mornings before I get going, but for right now, these have been perfect!

Great work pants, that keep you well insulated. Could have a better fit, a bit higher waist would improve the pants, low riding pants often tend to fall down when one kneels or bends. Overall fit could improve

I highly recommend these pants for outdoor work. I bought one size up to go over my jeans. Very warm and I’m able to crouch easily in them. A bit long for a “short” though.

I have struggled to fit into Carhartt gear because I'm petite (5'2, 115 lbs) and I was honestly worried these would fit poorly. I am jumping for joy that not only do these fit perfectly (I do have a muscular build so I am able to fill them out) but the short length is also spot on. The next time I'll be taking these off is in March. Thank you for making smaller, more flattering sizes, Carhartt!!

Most comfortable pants EVER. Extremely durable as well. I’ve never in my life been able to buy 3 pairs of different styles jeans all in the same size and have them all fit. Hat’s off to Carhartt, thanks for the awesome new work attire.<br /><br />The sizes do run a tad small. I’m 5’7” and 150 lbs the size 6 fit like a glove!

I sent them back. Fabric on women’s jeans too flimsy not like men’s fabric I’m short but petite from crotch to waste too short. Waist in 16

I bought one pair for winter and just wore them for the first time on a recent cold morning. They are so comfy and cozy that I knew I needed a second pair. They will be part of my new cold weather uniform. I got a size 2 short and I’d say they run a tad big but that will only trap more warmth so that’s not a problem.

I do not like the cold. Lucky for me these lined pants do not mind it a bit. I stay warm and comfortable as I run my landscape and trucking business' in these pants. They wear well and and are offered in a great range of sizes including a shorter inseam for me.

Incredible pants. Warm, durable, and comfortable. The fleece on the inside is soft. The double layer really helps block out the wind. Wore these on a cold winter day in Chicago and felt great. I’m 5’5” and 125#, and got a size 2. Snug on waist, baggy in the butt and leg. Plenty of room to move around in. appreciate all the pockets on the front, back , and side of these pants. Women’s pants aren’t typically made with many pockets, if at all.

These pants are great for cold winter days. I’m a dairy farmer and had these for the last cold spell in Michigan - I was still cold, but these definitely helped as being 1 of my many layers! I always have to buy a larger size than normal for Carhartt pants, but I do wish that they had these in a slimmer fit. The pants are kind of baggy, even though they are the right size. It does provide plenty of room for layering underneath and it doesn’t matter much when you have coveralls on over them.

These pants are amazing for working! I work inside and outside everyday, in any weather! These pants are great for winter days! I would suggest a size up for layering purposes.

These pants are perfect for cold days outside in Maine. I have worn them hunting, Ice fishing, and walking the dogs. Love them - they are so comfy and keep me warm.

I bought these to work on our property in fall and winter. Comfortable and warm. I actually did a little hiking in snow with them. They are flexible enough to hike in.

This is a second pair (different color) that I've purchased for myself. They are extremely comfortable and warm.

These pants didnt even last a full season of light work. I bought them last year because they're warm and fit great but when I pulled them out to wear again this winter both knees blew out immediately. There are small holes forming on the thighs now as well. Conversely, my similar pair of MENS pants has been going strong for years now. Hey Carhartt, we love the womens cuts, but we want the mens quality too!!!

The pants are incredibly soft and comfortable. The fit is true to size. The quality is great, the lining is just thick enough without making the pants feel "poofy" and are very warm.

They fit great, and their quality is off the chart! This is my third pair. I bought the others two years ago and they are still holding up great. I work in them on the ranch and in my wood shop, so they take a beating at times. They keep me warm in cold weather.

I was reading everyone's review and people were saying to go a size up, so I ordered an 8 instead of a 6 which I am in my favorite jeans. The size 8s were hanging off of me, way too big. So of course I ordered a size 6 and they too are baggy on me, with a tight belt they should fit me fine. They seem to be made so they're tighter in the hip and baggy in the legs. My point in I think everyone is different, look at the measurements and order what you think will fit you best. Besides that little rant, these pants are amazing. Super warm, comfortable, and durable.

Why is the hammer loop on the left side when most folks are right- handed?? This is totally WRONG. The hammer loop goes on the right. Otherwise, I love these! They're warm, comfy, and look great! They do run big, so order your normal size and one size smaller, and return the one that doesn't fit.

These are great pants - warm and sturdy. Would give them five dtars but the bottom of the legs are too wide - wish they came in a slim fit like some of the other pants or the bottoms weren’t so wide.

I picked up a pair of these fleece lined pants as I work full time with dogs outside, and our Minnesota winter is quickly coming upon us.<br />These pants have been a lifesaver as well as a comfort with their warmth and seemingly impenetrable outside from harsh wind.<br />These pants are also very bulky in the legs and very small in the waist. I am normally a 4-6 in pants from other stores but I had to get a 10 regular in these! The 8 was just too tight in my waist, but the 10 is a tad too big all around. Be sure to try these on in a store if possible before purchasing, and be prepared to wear a belt if need be! I would say do NOT size down!!

I have an 80 horse boarding facility in CO and Carhartt is my go to clothing line for working out here. 90% of what I wear is Carhartt. I bought these pants last month and they are so comfy, soft and warm. My only beef is that the waistband runs SMALL, I'm normally a size 6 and had to go to an 8 and it's still a little tight but the pants are super baggy everywhere else, good thing I'm not concerned with fashion. They also don't offer these in longs which would be great because I'm 90% legs and they are already too short which lets in the cold air and defeats the purpose of fleece lined pants. Would love to see these in a long, more color options and with a more true to size waist band.

Very cozy. Much baggier than I expected. I’m usually a 6, which is what I bought, but these are almost large enough to fit over another pair of jeans. Which is fine for cold days and wanting that extra layer.

I absolutely love these pants! They are comfortable and warm, recently worn to fix fence and play outside with a toddler. They are perfect for all outdoor activities. I am cold all the time, and these allow me to be outdoors comfortably, and not miss out on any of the fun.

I bought both colors for myself because I love these pants so much! Then I went and bought them as a gift for my Mom too. They are seriously awesome! The softest flannel lining inside keeps you warm, yet doesn't add bulk! The canvas exterior is durable — between the 2 layers, the wind will not cut through these pants! In love.

These fleece lined pants are very comfortable. The styling is straight with enough give to be able to work and move with ease. I like the many extra pockets.

I am petite. Short is still big. Maybe that is the purpose, allow a lot of room to add lay if need to. I look as appealing an eggplant in these.

I was looking for a nice durable lined pant for the super cold winter we've been having and these definitely fit the bill. I liked them so much, that I bought another pair. They are comfortable, true to size and toasty warm. Can't wear anything else for winter.

I've had my fleeced lined pants for over a year now and still love them as much as the first time I put them on. They are super comfortable but not bulking like you might think, the fleece is super soft, you think you are wearing pajamas but you have the durable Carhartt material on the outside. Perfect for the chilly fall mornings fishing or perfect on a nice winter day. The only thing I wish Carhartt would change/offer is a longer length.

Love these pants! Super comfortable and soft and very warm on cold days. Pants are true to size in waist length and overall fit. I’m 5’5” and 135lbs. Only down side is the inseam is a tad short for me.

I have a few pair of these. This Canadian wears them walking the dog, working in the garage or outside. Very comfortable too! So far very durable for yardwork and hobby carpentry. I wish there was a few more colors, like navy, green or black.

Great warm comfy pants, if anything they run a bit large, I am 5'4" and weigh about 105, if they came in a 0 that wold have probably worked better, but, while a bit baggy, they don't fall off the hips like a lot of the newer low cut pants tend to do. Love them.

I wore these pants on a deer hunt last fall and was so glad I had them! Not only were they warm, they were comfortable as well! I know they'll last me many seasons.

Warm, soft

These keep me very warm in the snowy/cold weather, I can work outside without needing long underwear. I was lucky to find a size 2 in stock..I'm 5'4" and about 110lbs, they tend to stretch out after the day is over and can get kind of baggy but if I put them in the dryer it helps.

I work at at a Thoroughbred racing facility (outside at the barn) 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I have been so stressed out finding something to keep me warm during the freezing cold days. All last week it was 25-40 degrees and I must say there wasn't a single inch of my body that was cold all thanks to these pants!!! If you work outside all day in the cold these pants are exactly what you need! Now I can't really say much for the size - I am under 5 feet tall, 100 pounds and a 00 petite at my waist, so the size 2 is obviously way too big. However, with a belt it is still doable to work in before getting them altered, and with my (very warm) work boots I don't need to get the length shortened. I got the 2 Short size

These pants are very nice quality and seem very durable. I do however have a serious issue with the fit. They run really small and itâ??s incredibly frustrating. I wear a 6 in most brands. I ordered a medium 8/10 Crawford overall that I like very much. I expected them to be roomy and wanted it that way so I could wear a sweatshirt under the bib. They were a perfect fit rather than loose but that worked out okay. I figured since these are also the Crawford style an 8 would fit as I am normally a 6. Way too small! I could barely get them on and buttoned. Now luckily carhartt sent me a return label with paid postage as I had a fit issue with another style of lined jeans I had tried before ordering the Crawford. However the sizing issue is so annoying as I even used the true fit tool on the website that says an 8 is my size. I will try one last time and order a 10 and 12 only because I like the style and quality of carhartt and this particular pants. The sizing problem is driving me nuts.

Very warm, as I tend to be cold natured. The fleece is super soft!!! The fit is as I have read on other reviews...a little tight on the waist. However, after wearing for a while, that does loosen a little. The waist is slightly low slung for my taste, would prefer for it to sit about an inch higher. The quality seems very rugged, as expected from Carhartt. I do wish they made the fleece lined pants in the blue jean exterior. I have already purchased both colors.

I work outside in the oilfield in harsh weather. I searched various brands before finding Carhartt. Unlike most brands, these fit a woman's body...not a woman shaped like a man, but a real woman with real curves. The fleece lining is perfect for stopping tough cold wind. The waistband fits close to the skin, keeping pants from dropping down when bending and climbing. The "what size do I need" tab was AMAZINGLY HELPFUL in getting the perfect fit the first time! I will be ordering more of these pants, plus the original Crawford pants for other seasons.

Love the warmth and toughness, while still flexible enough to allow for easy moving.<br />The sizing recommendation based on my size compatibility with JJill 2XSP, suggested I order size 4Short. The waistband is manageable with a belt, but the hips are too wide. I kept them, because I couldn't wait for a return/reorder process. I would recommend staying with your true size. My next pair will be a 2Short.<br />Overall great value for the money!

I am 5'5", and I ordered the Size 2 Regular. They are too short, and I expect there will a bit of shrinkage.<br />Like most gals, I will be wearing these with boots. That will make them even shorter. And I usually add some very light longies -- shorter still.<br /><br />(Your models must be very short-legged.)<br /><br />Otherwise they are terrific. And I was so looking forward to their arrival.<br /><br />Please offer them in a length a couple inches longer. Folks can always shorten the legs. You can't lengthen them.

I needed tough, warm, comfortable work pants for gardening. These fit the bill. The pockets are a big bonus. My one complaint is that I could have used a size smaller than the smallest size offered.

I'm 125 lbs and 5'-7''. I ordered a size 4 per Carhartt's suggestion. The pants fit great right out of the bag, but have since stretched to be too big. The length is a bit short, but I have long legs. I work in a metal shop so I was looking for a rugged pair of pants to keep me warm. I've had the pants about two weeks and tore them on some material the second day I wore them. I sewed the area and haven't had any other issues. These pants are very warm and pretty durable. I would only buy again if they made size 2 in a long. Overall a good pair of work pants.

These are the perfect line pants for winter. The fleece is soft and warm while the cotton is durable. My only complaint is that the waist is a bit tight. I've tried the next size up but, the rest of the pant is too large. Hopefully, they will stretch like my other Carhartts.

I am very happy with my fleece lined Crawford pants. I work outside, so in the cold weather these pants kept me quite warm and comfortable. The only negative comment I could make is about the length, they are just long enough. I am 5' 9" so I would have preferred a longer length.

Carhartt's relaxed fit actually fits me better than the original fit, but I really wanted the fleece lined pant so gave these a shot. Because I'm a little curvier, these fit just a little snug in the hips and I need a belt to keep the waist where I want it. But the stretch to the fabric helped them still be comfortable. I am 5'8" and the regular length is shorter than I prefer. Carhartt, please please consider making this or something similar in a relaxed fit that comes also in long!

These run about a size smaller than the 'recommended' size provided on the site - but when you get your right size, they fit great. Warm for those cold days out at the barn - will get another pair!

Very happy with these pants. They are incredibly comfortable and fit nicely.

These are my first pair of women's carhartts as I've been wearing men's hand-me downs, and what a difference it makes to wear a woman's fitted pant! They're incredibly comfortable and I would wear them everyday! The short length is just right for me and I didn't need to make a single alteration. Now, I just need 5 more pair ;)

I live in Idaho and these pants keep me warm in the frigid temperatures.

Living in winter 6 months out of the year, these pants are amazing, very warm so don't need long underwear most of the time. Unfortunately Carhartt stopped making men's pants in a 28 waist which was perfect for me. The women's 4 fits well but I like the men's fit better.

The pants are nice. Comfortable fabric and the construction appears to be good. Not all women are short, though! A long or tall size would have been nice. Had to return because the size 12 pants were just too short for my wife.

I absolutely love these pants. I've only had them for a week, but I've worn them every day. They keep me warm cycling to work, they fit true to size, and my cell phone (galaxy s7) fits entirely in the front pocket!

Warm even in subzero temperatures. Washes well with no noticeable shrinkage.

I love these pants. I'm going to get a second pair because I'm basically wearing these every single day of this Canadian winter. They are super warm. <br /><br />My build is 5'3" 115lbs - I usually wear a 6 but bought a 4. They feel fitted out of the dryer and get 'almost-need-a-belt' loose by the end of the day. If you're around my build definitely get a 4.<br /><br />My only suggestion for Carhartt would be to add bigger side pockets with tacks to close them. Lots of men's pants have that style of pockets. The one under the hammer loop barely fits my cell phone...

I fell in love with these pants the moment I tried them on. It is true what the other reviewers have written--they feel comfortable like sweatpants, only I think they are even a softer feel-like the soft velvety silky muzzle on a horse--if you like horses! I'm ordering another pair and also one for a Christmas present for my daughter.

My favorite pants when its cold out. So soft and warm from day 1. No need for an extra layer underneath.<br /><br />Wish the side pockets were bigger. Cant accommodate cell phone.<br /><br />Have 2 pairs.

I love my fleece lined pants as I am a gardener and they are perfect for this time of year! They are very comfortable and soft on the inside. You just can't go wrong with these!

I haven't road tested these pants for a long period of time yet, so I can't attest to their durability. But just in terms of fit/function, they offer a good cold-weather alternative to the other Carhartt pants with the same style. The fleece lining makes them very comfortable, and they seem sturdy.

So hard to find good work pants for women. These fit really (me) well. Snug at the back waist to keep the kidneys warm and prevents "plumbers' crack". Look pretty good too.

I got these pants in Coal, and I love both how they look and how they feel. They'll be great to have as the weather gets crisper here in Alaska. I usually wear a base layer and regular pants, but these will do well on their own, or with a base layer if it's a very cold winter.
