Just what I needed. Lightweight and warm!

Love the jacket it’s very lightweight but actually keeps the heat in very well. I’m 5’10” 300 lbs and got the 3x it fits kind of loose like I can fit a sweater under it. Just depends on what fit you like. You can adjust the bottom of the jacket with draw cord and also the sleeves with Velcro so it fits nice

Love the color, fit and quality. Not sure in durability yet but it’s Carhartt so not worried. Could be a little bit longer.

Fits great for a medium, true to size. Not too much bulk and not too slim. Very warm. Good everyday wear jacket. Reasonably priced vs similar jackets.

I have been wearing it all week in 30-40 degree weather and it is perfect (I run hot). It isn’t bulky like most jackets. The fit is perfect and it looks cute on! I highly recommend.

Needs to be longer for the bigger sizes

My husband has only worn a Carhartt vest as a winter jacket for the last 4 years. It's been washed and dried dozens of times, and holds up beautifully. I was happy to find this jacket for him, it's exactly the same as his vest, but with sleeves. He loves it, and I know it will last him for years. I'm finally getting him to wear a winter jacket.

This jacket is absolutely awesome. I use it as a hunting jacket. Now the design isn’t necessarily rugged enough for hunting but, it has help up so far. The jacket is comfortable and very warm. I used it recently in Ohio with temps in the 30s with light rain. The jacket kept me warm and dry. Fits true to size and is worth every penny.

I really wanted this jacket to work, to be my go-to fall-spring light work and around town outerwear. I am happy with my sherpa-lined duck utility jacket for winter wear but this one, in the same size, is unflattering - sleeves too long and wide, and it could have a more modern, fitted cut to increase its versatility and appeal. I’m sure it will do what is advertised against cold, wind, and rain, but I did not get a chance to try it out as I am returning the product, disappointed.

Great warmth in such a light jacket

Was pretty warm jacket in ~40 degree windy temps with a short sleeve shirt underneath. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 20’s so will put it to the test!

I love it. I have not been in the rain yet. It did come a little big so you might adjust your measuring system.

They looked good… but sizes were really off. Tried the Tall to start and it was huge. Bought the M Reg as the M is not offered in Tall. Bummer too. Small for M and way too short.<br />A shame MTall is not available, if ever, in any other clothes…<br />At 6’5” and 200 lbs… MT is where it is at! ?????????

This is my second Rain Defender jacket, first one is still perfectly fine and usable after 5 years of hard use, just showing it's age a little now. This jacket is is the perfect weight and seems to be made custom fit for my body, best jacket of this type that I have found and would buy again and again. Five happy stars Carhartt.

Fits well. My purpose was as under layer to my motorcycle jacket. It fulfilled that mission.

I needed a jacket for running errands around town when it’s cold. I didn’t want anything super thick that I would have to take off and put back on. This fits the bill perfectly and is just what I wanted. I tried on a couple of down jackets from other companies but they felt fragile and would not last long. This jacket seems well made and feels fairly durable for being made of nylon. When I tried it on in the house I could tell it will be plenty warm as I could feel the warmth being held inside the jacket. The zippered chest pockets will hold my phone without fear of losing it or falling out. As far as size goes, I am 6’3” and 215 with an athletic build and long arms. I got a Large Tall the the fit is near perfect, the torso isn’t baggy and the sleeves are nice and long. Overall, I really like it and plan on wearing most of the winter.

I'll be purchasing a new one this year! (I ripped mine last year... but the store was out for the balance of the winter season).<br />Great coat.

Love this jacket! I bought one because I always more my husbands but his size medium was not big enough for me to zip it up. So I bought one in a large.

Cuffs should be elastic or longer Velcro <br />Just a bit short for me. I wear xxl for my shoulders. Prefer zipped pockets. <br />Would have sent back<br />But already wore it. Would like to try a xl tall for size. <br />I own a lot of carhartt but not a fan of this coat. Sorry

Thanks for constructing such a great jacket. My shoulders, and arms are big, the large fits perfect. I'm 6'2", in a wheelchair and this still has room to spare. I wear an extra large in The North Face, EDDIE Bauer ALASKA Hardware, Cabela's, and Patagonia. I own 14 winter jackets, this one will not disappoint.<br /> Velcro closers on the arm cuffs is really an added bonus for a jacket at this price. The coat also has a zipper pocket on the inside along with a top opening Velcro closing pocket on the other side. Classic triple Carhartt sticking throughout the jacket will last the harshest treatment. It's water-resistant wind-resistant and toasty I would say down to mid to lower 30's with a long sleeve omi-heat Columbia shirt underneath. Thanks for the on time shipping.

Excellent fit for my tall frame. Very comfortable. Have received many compliments from people telling me how much they like the jacket.

The jacket is great. Perfect for chilly drizzly PNW mornings. The water beads and sheds well and the jacket is warm enough for my needs. The color is more beige than grey, but that’s fine with me. I’m 6’2” and 195lb and the large fits well.

People are so used to seeing the traditional yellow Carhartt jacket when they get close and see it’s a rain repellent handsome looking jacket that lose their minds… Nice job

Not crazy about the pockets that snap, not easy to get into. I don’t like that the material on the inner collar changed to some kind of cloth that rubs on my neck. Other than those two things the jacket fits good.

I love the jacket, it’s warm and light weight it fits well the only problem is on me it’s a little short in the front. But over all it’s great.

I love this coat. It keeps me warm and dry. Great for football games or my hunting trips to South Dakota. I bought a second one in camoflauge. Definitely a good quality jacket.

The defender rain jacket is great. Excellent at keeping me dry in the harsh marine environment. Very comfortable and fits well on a large man such as myself

Very warm and lightweight, sizing is off though. I always wear an XL in Carhartt coats, but this one isnt nearly as long and the sleeves are ridiculously short, when I reach outward the sleeves go up my wrist about 5 inches. I can’t wear a long sleeve under this coat or the sleeves extend past the coat sleeves. Unfortunately I got this coat through work and I can’t return/exchange it. I will say there Cordura is very doable, I’ve smashed this coat on metal hooks Agee times and thought for sure it tore but no damage was done.

This is my 2nd jacket from Carhart. The only thing different is the color. My other one lasted about 3yrs and I work outside year round with a tower company so it definitely comes in handy.

Very disappointed by Carhartt’s COVID vaccine mandate. If I had known about the vaccine mandate I wouldn’t have purchased from them. I personally took the vaccine but I believe their policy is an over-reach by an employer and I think it’s political pandering.

I have two of these jackets and another one on the way. I like them. As with most of your clothes, it seems a little oversize, but I realize that it's a loose fit. Being loose, it layers well over my loose fit, full zip sweatshirt. I wish you made it in medium Tall because I'd like one just to wear by itself. I'd also like to see it made in a rip-stop material. I'd give it a 5 star if it was made in the US.

I followed the size fit guide that is included with figuring out what size to get. All the measurements said I needed a 2XL. Now that I have the jacket it is massive on me and fits over my puffiest jacket I have. I had never owned a car hartt before so just beware they run big. Also, know that the sleeves and length run short. I’d return it but my company does an annual jacket and let us pick them. I picked this one and now it’ll be one I never wear since the jacket is massive, barely goes to my belt and sleeves are two inches two short. Very disappointed with such a name brand.

Frustrated! This coat fits nothing like the pictures online - they must have gathered it in the back for photos? I ordered the XL Tall for my husband, who normally fits XLT in other brands. There is no mention of the size being a BIG and TALL size, but it's huge and baggy on him. We'll try the Large Tall, but I'm not optimistic about it.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He's a very muscular guy, and 5'10" tall. I ordered the medium. Usually he has issues with clothes being too tight in the chest/shoulders/arms. This coat is so unbelievably baggy on him in all those places and the waist is a joke, and not to mention it's SUPER short! It looks quite ridiculous on him. I can't imagine how it would fit someone taller. Will be returning.

Best jacket for the rain

I love the design--great fabric, a strong zipper, an outside pocket for my phone and an inside pocket for other things. Fit was a problem, and I returned it. The medium size should have been a perfect fit, according to my chest and waist size. In reality, it's cut large, and I was swimming in it. I returned it and ordered a small. It was too tight and had very long sleeves. I returned that too. I was disappointed to have to return both. Fit aside, it's a great product, like all Carhartt clothing.

These puff jackets are really a good value when it comes to lightweight warmth with some light rain resistance. I find this type of jacket best for low-level outdoor activity. The fit of the Carhaart is just right for me compared to some other brands (namely, they're more generously sized in the varying size tiers), and overall I'd recommend this for anyone wanting a lighter weight jacket for warmth at a reasonable price. It'll certainly be less durable overall compared to the duck fabrics but it's a good alternative for non-stressful outdoor activity where wind and cold resistance are paramount.

Great combination of form and function! Staying dry and warm when I need it most. Adjustable cuffs help to maintain warmth and reverse snap on pockets keeps contents dry.

It is a little short in length

My son loved the coat. It’s hard to get teens to wear a coat but he likes the look of it, it’s medium weight, easy to layer with a sweatshirt, and just enough warmth not to overheat. I love Carhartt for the durability so I know it will wear well.

I. bought the jacket for walking through the woods in the fall and early winter, and to layer with on cold days. The craftsmanship is the highest quality. It’s comfortable and the outer shell is more abrasion resistant than other more expensive lighter jackets.

Awesome jacket. So I purchased another one, plus the vest. Then I returned the $150 one to the Pat…. company that was no where near the feel and the quality of the carhartt.

6-1 and 210, went with Large Tall and fits great. The only improvement i would make the product is a more durable shell.

Love it. I bought the brown one and it’s so versatile I’m thinking of getting another color: grey or navy.

Overall, this is very nice product. Lightweight, functional, good pocket design both exterior and interior. Would prefer a slightly more trim cut ( am 6'4" and 203# so jacket is a bit big in the middle). Would appreciate a two-way zipper as well. Cannot comment on durability as of yet.

Fit and size are true and comfortable!

The fit under the armpit is tight and the shoulder a bit puffy. The warmth of the jacket suitable with T-shirt and long sleeve shirt so far around 28 degrees.

I love this coat and this is the third one I've owned. The first one was a safety award given to me by my company and the reason I give it a four stars is that after six years the zipper quit working. It zips up but won't stayed zipped. Everything else about the jacket still works great. It's also advertised as a "Rain Defender" which it does work great in a light rain but not in a downpour.

The managers at my company received these jackets as end of year gifts. I so enjoyed and found myself wearing mine so much I decided to order one in a second color and so I had one without the company logo on it for casual situations. It is a comfortable jacket that blocks the wind well and is water resistant so snow is not an issue . I usually run hot and do not like a heavy coat so this has been a perfect late winter/early spring coat. I am sure I will find it suits me well come fall.

Had the older version of this jacket like the new one better. Pockets actually do up. Neck is warmer it has a collar. The color was a little lighter than anticipated.

I do not like the material on the inside of the collar! It sticks to the Velcro on the back of my baseball hats. It should be the same material as on the outside like the older models.

I usually wear this with a hoodie and have been plenty warm in 20 degree weather. Only thing I wish is that it was a few inches longer. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

The Bay Area (CA) can get cold, but we don't experience the extreme cold of places like Chicago or Milwaukee. This jacket is perfect for the sort of "in-between" cold we get here. I can work outdoors without getting overheated, or I can hang out without feeling too cold. A perfect medium. When it's wet, I use this jacket as a base layer underneath a waterproof shell. It's also very durable. Carhartt is really a cut above, I think.

On the job, I am in and out of the truck a lot. This jacket has a nice balance of not being too warm to sit in the truck, but enough when out in the 30* weather that is common in New England during the winter. Has a nice ability to break the wind as well.

Very happy with my Gilliam puffer jacket! It was half the price of most Hiking puffer jacket, plus it is more durable than some other brands I’ve tried on. I’ll be using it in April on a3 day back packing trip, and with the combination of this and my goretex Shell I should stay plenty warm and dry. Very happy with my purchase, both in price and usability.

Got it for my husband and he loves it! Fits perfectly, very comfortable and warm - he spilled his cup of coffee on it and said that it didn’t stain and it dropped off immediately. Speaks to the moisture wicking of the jacket! A great deal and the puffer jackets are super trendy right now. Highly recommend!

Great jacket. Can be used by itself or with layers for quickly changing weather conditions. I also like the multiple pockets. Good jacket overall. My only caution is that the outer layer is a nylon type material and not nearly as tough as standard Carhartt work jackets. I would say this is a going to town or other than hard work type jacket.

More durable material than most "puffy" jackets. Incredibly warm, used for hiking. Side pockets are button-closures, not zippered, so it lessens the chance the zipper can catch and tear the material. Runs slightly large.

I bought this jacket for my son to wear with his Carhartt sweatshirt. He absolutely loves it, says it's so warm. It does run big, but I think that's because people wear things underneath it. I would totally recommend this jacket to anybody who works outside. It's very light but very warm. I do wish that they would add a detachable hood.

Perfect fit, warm, and waterproof is a bonus all in a non-bulky jacket. It's been great when I'm walking our dog in the snow or heading to the dog park, which is wide open and usually windy and cold.

Just like the fleece I bought, this jacket is a little short as well. The size says 2XLT but it doesn’t fit like that size usually fits me.

Purchased several as SWAG for employees and customers. We were able to embroider our logo nicely, great all around, mid-weight jacket. Can't speak about durability yet, but we are very happy with these!

The jacket is made for people who would work in a warehouse doing "inventory counts" or for heavy equipment operators who are in a warm cab. The jacket did not work well for activities such as 1 hr shoveling snow or for a brisk 45 min walk on a forest snowy trail. Jacket got damp from condensation on entire back and got cold. Jacket is also very lightly/cheaply insulated; if you want warmth, go with a Alaskan Hardware jacket of similar qualities at Duluth Trading.com.

Love this jacket . Light, water proof, and warm. Seems very durable compared to other down type jackets. I’m 6’ 195 lbs and the large tall fits great. I have a little longer arms and waist and the tall version is perfect.

This jacket has 3 pockets, 2 inside (1 with a zipper the other velcro ) and 1 outside (zipper). My outside interior pocket ripped so when I used it, everything ended up at the bottom interior of the jacket. I've owned the jacket for a long time and loved it. My daughter just bought me a brand new one, my son took my old one and he loves it.

This is the second Gilliam jacket I’ve bought for my husband. I tried other brands with brighter colors but his chest is broad and the typical modern fit is designed with a taller slimmer person in mind. Gilliam is roomy in the chest without being too long in the sleeves. He loves the jacket and after wearing the first one to death asked me to get him another. If I could ask for one thing it would be livelier colors. He has the blue and also the shadow but he’d look even better in a brighter color.

Love the jacket but a little too big. Tried a extra large on at the store thought it was a bit snug with a sweatshirt and was a bit short. So I went with an xlt and it is more like a 2xl in size. Quality of jacket is great!

This is my first Carhartt coat of this kind and it beat my expectations. Very lightweight yet warm and very comfortable. Great look for every day non-work coat. 2XL fits as it should with enough room to wear sweatshirt under.

This jacket is a lot warmer than it looks. A little poofy in the shoulders but plenty of room if you are layering. I ordered a medium and I’m about 5’2” and 150. In 25 degree weather I could not feel the wind through it. My husband has the men’s and he also loves his. LOVE IT!!

It runs small. I usually wear a large and I ended up buying a medium.

This jacket is comfortable, lightweight but warm. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I really needed a Medium Tall but does not come in this size! Carhartt please know there are tall ( I'm 6'5") but lanky men out there! Consequently, runs a bit wide in the body but at least I have the sleeve length and body length I need. Having just received I can't attest to the durability yet but if anything like other Carhartt products should not be an issue.

Great fit but I was expecting a heavy duty zipper

I'm hesitant about buying clothes online because I don't know if they'll fit. I have long arms, so many shirts and jackets are too short in the sleeves. I'm usually good with Carhartt clothing, but... After hesitating for several weeks, I decided to try the Gilliam jacket, and I'm glad I did. It's light but warm, and it does a pretty good job with wind and rain. With my Carhartt bucks, I sure couldn't beat the price. Definitely recommended.

Perfect everyday jacket for winter. I'm 5_5 and 200 pounds. The large fit a little big but it's perfect with a sweat shirt underneath. Pockets are ample for running around and the adjustable cuffs are a little weird at first but I like them now. Based in the jacket fit and cut it is definitely made to be worn with layers.

This coat is what I hoped. Good 2X fit for me; light, comfortable and warm without the bulk. Haven’t worn it the rain yet, so I can’t address that part of its performance. Quite satisfied!

Lightweight and surprisingly warm. I’ve had similar jackets so I kind of knew what to expect. The size chart was right on. I’m a bigger guy with and the XL fits perfectly, so just follow the size chart on carhartt’s web site.

This jacket is warm and lite, it’s wearable for any occasion for work on bike ride or hanging out with friends!! I like the chest pocket and inside pocket both big enough to hold an IPhone with a otterbox case!

I'm 6'1 180 and medium fits well.<br /><br />It's not a fully insulated deep winter jacket, only 100 or 150gm fill. However, with layering I'd feel comfortable from 30F up and the plus is more mobility.<br />If it had elbow patches for durability I'd give 5 stars.

Quality jacket. Works well in multiple temperatures, with a little layering. It was 9 degrees and windy outside the other day, and it stood up well with just a simple fleece underneath it. I haven’t determined how waterproof it is. It looks good too.

Bought as a gift for my son

I've had this jacket for years and I absolutely love it. It's just warm enough for fall and early winter and does a good job against light rain. I'm a bigger guy and it fit well, didn't seem tight in weird spots and moved with me. Because of the material choice I wouldn't wear this on a job site bit for casual wear this is an ideal midweight jacket.

Excellent fall/spring jacket for Canada. I purchased it from Carhartt.com because the Canadian site did not have the color I wanted. The only negative aspect of the transaction was the long time the jacket due to the shipper (not the fault of Carhartt).

Thought it would be a little better insulated and thought since it said it was made of Cordura, the exterior would be super tough like my other Carhartt coats; otherwise the fit and look are great. Compared to other quality jackets like this, the price is much more reasonable.<br /><br />This has a very contemporary look for when I am off the ranch.

I went on a mountaineering expedition to the Alps,and this jacket provided me with the optimum amount of warmth required.

I'm 6'1" tall and 175 lbs so I need tall sizes I ordered a long tall and it fits me well. I love the features and they way it fits . Now I want to buy it in other colors . Great design carhartt keep it going.

My Husband already had 1 a size smaller that I bought 2 years ago. DUE TO ILLNESS AND MEDS, he needed a larger size.<br />Jacket washes and dries beautifully.

Tall size lengths are not long enough. Tall size fit like a "big size".

Surpasses other brands, Love the extra pockets. I wore it to a corporate meeting during freezing weather and then later that week while out in the field.

Size runs true to other Carhartt products. I'm 5'-9" thin build and ordered a small and it fits great. Has a tight fit look, but can still be comfortable worn over other layers. Very wind resistant and rain does roll right off. The zipper does tend to get tangled on the inner flap of the jacket is the only down side so far.

Well made and very warm for it’s light weight. I always buy Carhartt clothing for the durability, strength, and high quality of the materials.

The Velcro on the cuffs can not tighten anywhere near enough. You have to have someone add more to the cuff to allow it to tighten like other jackets!

I would definitely recommend this to others. It’s so much warmer than it is heavy. It allows movement, comfort, and warmth. Also, The wind doesn’t cut through.

Joe tried two different sizes. The jacket is so short it’s hangs above his waist. He 5’9! We sent both back.

It feels plastic. I would like to return it. Also I am 6'6" and 250 lbs and the XLT was loose on me. Thought it would be more form fitting. It would be good in case of an emergency. but also would wearing 10 layers of hefty bags.

Surprisingly warm for something so lightweight.

The fit is right on, I’m 5’11” and 185 lbs and a medium fits perfect. The shipping was right on time even in the middle of winter. The jacket is warm to 25 degrees with a medium weight shirt on, and I love all the pockets.

Very warm and comfortable jacket. Only complaint is they don't make this for women. My wife is wanting one.<br /><br />This past week I got stuck in a briar patch. I thought that there was no way I would be making it out without rips or snags. I kept feeling "tugs" on the jacket from the thorns, but suprisingly I made it through with out any rips or tears.

Purchased this for my teen son, looks great and has held up well so far.<br /><br />Customer service in-store wasn't especially warm or inviting, questions were met with indifference or disinterest. However it was nice that one sales rep offered to order the product to be shipped to us.

Great jacket, love the fit. Size ran large for me so I exchanged an XL for a Large. Only issue is the pockets snap closed with one button, not a zipper that you would expect from a weatherproof jacket.

Nice jacket, I’ve owned it for 2 years now. Pretty warm for most Michigan days, especially with a flannel underneath. It’s great to not have the bulk, but when it gets really cold I break out the heavy canvas jacket. <br />Also love that they make this jacket in tall sizes. I wish it was a little slimmer fit, but that’s just a personal preference. I’m 6’1” and 180lbs and the large tall fits great.

I bought this for my husband for his Birthday. He is 6’2 so I typically have to get the Tall length in everything. I ordered a Large Tall and it fit him perfectly.

I'M A LARGE GUY I did try on a 2xl and 2xl tall before getting a 3 xl and i'm glad i did because this jacket is very light weight i'm glad i had a sweater on under but i could still feel the cold in the jacket . my advise dress worm if your going to wear jacket in michigan winter.

Everything I wear is XL so naturally I ordered an XL. It was way to big so I had to return it and get a L. The return process isn't bad, except that I have to pay for the return. With the discount I received the return cost was about half of the actual jacket. <br /><br />I love the jacket. I live in Sacramento where it doesn't get that cold, and this jacket is perfect for those high 30's low 40's morning.

I was scared it would be to big for my husband. I let him open it before Christmas because I thought I was going to have to send it back, it fit him perfectly and he still has room to wear a hoodie if he wants to. For reference his 5’8 and weighs 173 pounds and large was the perfect size.

The appearance is great, runs true to size, however it’s merely a tad more than a windbreaker. Maybe if the lining were something heavier it’d be warmer. You’ll need something more for cooler weather. That being said, this jacket is very expensive for a windbreaker.

Just received this jacket. Everything is as advertised and I anticipate this being a really nice jacket. I'm 6-1 220 lbs and I originally purchased the XL regular length. The XL was big around the waste and the length was a little short so I decided to order a Large Long. The Large Long is a much better fit around the mid section and it seems to be about 2" longer that the standard length.

Great light weight jacket

I really loved this jacket and it looked great online. I am 6'-5" 230lbs and ordered an XL Tall. Unfortunately, the coat fit me like an XXL and was way too baggy. The length was fine but it fit me like a trench coat and I ended up returning it and getting a different style coat that fit me perfectly in store (in the same size).... <br /><br />Carhartt has varying size discrepancies between products so your best bet is trying them on before purchase. Quality is still top notch. Very impressed with the jacket just wished it fit true to size or like the other ones I own.

Fabric is tougher than what is normally found on this type of jacket. Room for a light fleece or 1/4 zip sweatshirt underneath. Also bought the vest!

I thought it was thicker

I really like my jacket. It fits great, is extremely comfortable, and warm. I do have one negative issue. The Gilliam is not water repellent. I’m a Superintendent for a large custom home builder and my first experience of wearing it out in the rain wasn’t good. My sleeves immediately got wet within 30 minutes and within an hour my whole jacket was pretty much a sopping mess. The rain wasn’t coming down heavy either, just a light steady fall. Sorry to share bad news but I want to be honest. ~Harry

Ive only had the coat for a few days. Weather conditions i have wore it in: 35 degrees, rain, and wind and have stayed warm and dry. Fits as advertised in fitting chart. Light weight and very comfortable.

Sent it back as soon as I tried it on. Really not representative of the brand. Thin, really thin compared to competitors. Also torso shorter than described size.

Found this wonderful in a store. My husband is 6' 1". The regular was a little short in length. Found it was available in tall. Ordered Lg tall and its perfect. Easy to move in, instantly warm, it's a must have.

Great weight for temps down to about 35-40. Well made as always. It’s cut a bit loose so don’t think it will fit like the trendy puffy coats. What is does well is fit over long sleeve layers where temps vary a lot and you don’t want a stiff outer coat.

Had the jacket for a year now it is my go to jacket for most days, fits great and is very durable. Only wish it was a bit more puffy, or if they made a "Puffier" version for colder days. It has the puffy jacket look while staying thin and light causing it not to be as warm as just about any other puffy type jacket ive used. On its own starts to be a bit lacking under 30*f for more than some quick tasks. As a part of your layers its works great for a mid.

Exactly as advertised. I’m 5’8”, 185 lbs, muscular build. The large size was perfect. Lots of room to move around. Sleeves a little long, but the hook and loop cuff took care of that. Expecting a lot of use from this jacket. I recommend it for work purposes and casual wear - not for a night out, but that is not what I buy Carhartt for.

Made for large plus size men. I’m 185lbs 6’2” order a XL. Pissed off not everyone is 250lbsCan’t even use the coat.

Awesome jacket. Good insulation, repels water well. Horrible for stains. Had this jacket less than a week before it became stained. And it will not wash out.

I am 6'00" tall and weigh about 190. I was swimming in the jacket. I am thinking a medium would have been a better choice. Also, I was hoping for a "puffy" style Jacket. Although the lines and the picture of the model present that look and style, it was rather flat and seemed to be more of a "light" jacket with minimal insulation. I have not given up and may go after a Medium and see where that takes me. Carhartt is great and I will continue to purchase from them.

Jacket is adequate for the money, lightweight yet warm enough as long as you layer your clothing. I wore it to Germany for a week and now the elastic cord in the waistline is broke.

Well made. Great jacket. Fits a little full under armpits. When I took sticker(label) off of the arm it left glue residue. Other wise a great item.

Terrible material and designed to fit someone shaped like a refrigerator with room to spare. It’s already en route back for a refund.

The jacket is great except for the collar liner. That material likes to catch on my facial stubble as I turn my head from side to side. Fit is right. Light. Warm. And a good number of pockets.

I used the sizing chart on the website. I was recommended xl tall and it fits much bigger than I would like .

I actually acquired this jacket after a stranger left it at a house party....and I love it! It is lightweight, warm, packs easy and looks good. The only reason it don’t get 5 stars is because It doesn’t do very well in the rain. Mine might be a few years old though....I’m not sure!

The large tall was really more of an extra large with long arms. It's still a quality product, but could have used a better fit.
