This hood is Defective and Does Not Work! This hood is held onto the jacket with five snaps. Rivets are used to attach these snaps to both the hood and jacket. Unfortunately, the rivets are improperly installed and stick up too high inside the snap. (This condition exists on both the jacket and this hood. It appears to be caused by the excessive thickness of the material being used in the design of this jacket. This condition causes the snap to not properly seat onto the jacket and subsequently Causes This Hood to Easily Fall Off the Jacket, making it useless!<br />I Do Not recommend this product.
Had to send back hood two times. I needed four snaps they kept sending five snaps. Later found out you don’t carry four snaps anymore. Finally got it on Amazon for 1/3 the price that you had. You should keep your help informed !!!!
Bought this for my flex swing coat. I wish they offered the coat with permanent hood. But overall its ok for snap on hood. Color is slightly off from the coat. Does the job when needed.
Color match was on point. (w/ navy FR full swing jacket). The hood is pretty big. It goes over my head.
Great hood for my new jacket. I think it should be sold where jackets are sold . I had to order directly from Carhartt. Count the snaps before you order. Mine had 5. Most are sold with 4. Overall it’s the best jacket and hood on the market.
Great during snow storms
For the size of the hood compared to the jacket it’s significantly larger then it has to be. The draw strings also are too short to truly shorten up the hood
Everything looks good, but the hood does not fit. The hood has five snaps and the coat has four.
My son-in-law loved it!
I found the jacket locally for a huge discount. I debated on ordering the hood on-line to match the jacket. However, I was glad I did. I used it the very next day when it was raining and cold out. The hood kept me nice and dry. No umbrella needed.
