Exactly what I expected top-notch quality.
Great hat very warm and soft
Nice toboggan but very disappointed. Based on the product photo the copper color looked like it had a metal plate emblem. The product description does state that the patch is sewn on but I only went by the photo because I didn’t think Carhartt would have a misleading photo. All of the other colors do look like sewn on patches. This was supposed to be a useful version of a traditional wedding anniversary gift for “copper and wool” so I was disappointed that we didn’t get the copper aspect of that. The product photo vs an actual photo I took are 2 completely different things. Our patch also has discoloring that runs right through the middle of the logo. I like carhartt but was a little disappointed in this purchase.

Logo tag is not ideal. Instead of being fabric like on all the other Carhartt hats, this one is made of a soft...idk, plastic. It gets cold when outside. It's pokes you. It just...I wish it had the traditional logo tag.

I’ve purchased multiple beanies from carhartt throughout the years. After losing my black one with the traditional logo, I thought I’d try out this all black version. Unfortunately, it is significantly smaller than any other hat I’ve purchased from this brand. It was so tight on my head I had to return it. I even questioned if I made a mistake and purchased a child sized hat- nope.

the hat is good after i modified it. I get it wet and then stretch it wider than normal, like placing it over a large ball, then let it dry completely. this gave my head the ability to wear it otherwise it feels like a vice. after a long day my ears start to feel the pressure, but few hour sessions are fine. They just come too tight from the factory, and i have a shaved head. but the softness and warmth is spot on. i like the subtleness of the black tag and i wear it behind my head as i don't want to be a billboard.

I've had this hat for a few weeks now and I love it. It is really comfortable to wear - it's snug, but I don't feel like I have to take it off after an hour because it's squeezing my head to tight. It keeps my head WARM. It's a good size (not too small.) I will probably buy at least one more in a different color.
Right out of the box it’s an little tight. After a week of normal usage, it fits way better. Other than that, it’s just a Carhartt hat.

Having owned 3 Carhartt beanies in the past, I ordered this hat to replace my current North Face watch hat that shrunk severely after a bad washing.<br /><br />The black label looked nice, and I wanted to buy a hat in the States to see if the sizing was slightly different, and despite not being significantly roomier, the fit was great and definitely warm enough.<br /><br />One slight concern I have is regarding the label - IT IS LEATHER, NOT FABRIC. This means for those with larger heads, the label may rub up if the cuff needs to be rolled up to accomodate.<br /><br />Otherwise, a terrific product. Kiitos!

Very comfy, very warm, 3 thumbs up!
The hat looks nice and i suppose it would be good for a 12 year old male. I am quite a bit older larger and stronger. When I wore it the first time snow-blowing my driveway it rose up and fell off my head because it is not made for a solid adult american male.

My only complaint is that this is the only "black label" item you can get! Itd be nice if I could jackets and Jean's black label as well.<br />Other than that. My 3rd black label label A18 and who knows how many regulars I've owned and have in just about every color made. <br /><br />Carhartt, please slap black labels on a couple few more items, so itd all go together. Please.
It's a warm hat but it's extremely tight. Headache after 20 minutes or so. Also it looked great for about 3 wears then it was a fuzzy mess

While I love the black out design and have purchased many carhartt clothing and hats,beanies, and have been very happy with the fit this beanie falls short, it fits really snug for some reason.

Carhartt logo patch isn’t rugged looking as it appears on the image. It seems the patch has been updated with a plastic matte black finish instead of the tumbled leather as appears on the website. Besides that, the product is exactly as it’s described.

If I had seen this in the store, I wouldn't have purchased it. This was an online purchase for me. This beanie runs a lot tighter than Carhartt's regular beanie. Also, the patch that they have sewed on seems like cheap fake leather? I like the idea of a dark label. I would have preferred the classic label in the dark colors. I would have liked that a lot more.

This hat is great. It got delivered quicker than I thought it would as well. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was the black label itself. It's not just a cloth label like most of the hats, but a leather one. It makes it look really sharp and I have already had people asking me about it. I never write reviews on anything, but this hat exceeded my expectations. I love it and I highly recommend it! Especially if you're into darker clothes.

Incredible! Rugged, durable and fashionable. I know how various heavy machines including snowcat‘s, riding lawn mowers, manual transmission vehicles, 4-wheelers, motorized water-vehicles, semi trucks, and fork lifts. And looked good. It goes with every outfit I own. I bought 2. One for me and my sister cause we have to be twinning. Also goes well with my Carhart bibs, 10/10 will recommend to all of my friends.

It fits perfectly around my head and it keeps my ears and the top of my head warm due to the thickness of it. It looks different than other carhartt winter hats that everyone else wears since its a distinct black on black. Its a few dollars more but in my opinion its worth it since you wont need to buy another.
Its a black beanie...only so much you can say really. I own a few basic Carhartt beanies in different colors and this one for some reason seems to be made of a better quality material. The hat feels great and fits perfect. The black and black looks good too. For the price its impossible to beat if you want a no frills basic beanie to keep warm.

The sizing is a bit off despite what a lot of the reviews here say. I wear a size 7 5/8 in fitted hats. Maybe larger than some but not abnormally huge I don’t think... This beanie is incredibly tight. After a couple of hours of stretching it out, it is somewhat wearable but still fairly uncomfortable. <br /><br />This is the second Carhartt beanie I’ve ordered online now. The first was the Hurley beanie which was “one size fits all” and there was no way to even get it on. This one was only slightly better. <br /><br />I would highly recommend trying one on in store if you’re questioning sizing. I won’t be taking my chances ordering online from here any more.

It’s a nice quality hat but it’s smaller than my other carhartt watch caps. <br />I wear a 7-?” baseball cap so I wouldn’t say that it’s too tight because I have a large head.<br /> I’m hoping that I can stretch it out to make it fit more comfortably.

I finally found a great, warm, comfortable hat to keep my head warm. I wear it under my Carhartt waterproof /windproof detachable hood. You certainly don't find this kind of quality at your average box store!!!
Looks good, but really snug fit. My other hats from Carhartt fit great, but this one is so snug, my 2 year old wears it better than I do. I’ll try to wear it in a bit, but it gives me a headache after a while

Just received it today, 32 degrees in Lunenburg, Va. Fits great, quality is spot on Carhartt. Black Label is AWESOME! I should have ordered 2 as I do a lot of outside work on my property. Spent today clearing fence lines, lots of Blackberry Briars grabbing at my hat, not good. This hat met my expectations. Commfortable and warm. Slight leak through of wind (in very high wind), but fine while working hard outside. Size allows you to pull it down on your neck too, which is great.

I kinda wish the label was leather like my older one but, it’s a great hat. The hat material itself is better than the newer white label hats... less itchy.
This is a prime example of a well-executed Carhartt item:<br />-Made in USA<br />-aesthetically considered<br />-comfortable<br />-updated but still classic<br /><br />I got this for myself but my husband wears it now, and we both approve. These hats are always a little bit too much fabric for the size of my head, but I just end up folding over a wider band. I wish Carhartt would consider making more stylistically updated classic items in America.

I wear this hat when the temp get too cold for the other hats I have since it is not a skullie and has 2 layers of material to cover your ears. I feel like the fold helps make this hat so much warmer. I’m a big fan of the skullie style but this serves a great purpose

I went to the local Carhartt store because it said online they had 1 of these but when I got there they told me they were out. I liked the look of this one so I decided to order online. I was disappointed when mine arrived and it had a shiny black plastic label. I don't know if this picture is outdated or what but the hat I got looks different. The hat itself is pretty nice but the label looks cheaper than what is pictured here and I would have bought something different if I knew that.

Best beanie hat hands down. I love that black on black look. Only thing I can say is Carhartt can make these hats a little smaller. Compared to other hats I wore these stick up on top of the head a bit if you want a small overlap. In order to have the snug fit you need to make a huge cuff and then the logo looks too high up on the head.

It is a one-size-fit-all so if you have a big noggin like me you have to break it in and stretch it so it doesnt feel too tight.

It's very warm and comfortable, I've had this hat for going on a year now. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it tends to ride up off my head and ears, I'm constantly pulling it back down
It’s a good hat, worth it.
I've had a few of these and have never worn one out, just tend to loose them. Never had a problem keeping warm in single digit temperatures.

Super warm hat and looks great with black label. A little snug brand new but will stretch to fit quickly and last forever.
I like everything about this hat. I would recommend it to others. It feels a little snug, but it doesn't really bother me. It's better for it to be a little snug than too loose in my opinion.

Fits great, looks great, but the bag you shipped it to me in was HUGE. In my opinion no reason to use the extra plastic if you do not need to! Other than that very satisfied with the product i received.

Nice quality hat. Soft material. One huge problem is the watch hat is WAY too big! Covers all the way down to my eyes. It is un-wearable for you guys are smaller. Me I am 5ft 7in 140lbs. The one size fits all is an inaccurate one description.. Carhartt should offer different sizes for one of their my popular items. Carhartt think about all your customers.
Love this hat! Good fit, slightly bigger than the regular watch hats, but it does it's job, keeps my head and ears warm and I love the black out look. Definitely getting more of these!!!
I got this exact beanie from a Carhartt store in Gurley, IL great service BTW! I have worn it ever since. The only issue is maybe I have been a little hard on it... it started to get this fuzzy look to it... Overall GREAT product for the $ and will eventually get another one when it gets to bad looking.

My son loved it. I tried it on and it seemed just a bit too tight but maybe I have a fat head. I liked the grey acrylic watch cap better. Still and all, I'm vary happy with it.

Durable, warm
Unlike other beanies I own, this one is the softest and most durable one I have. I can wear it for hours without wanting it remove it from having an itchy forehead. I love that its made in the USA!

This is as close to class as you can get while wearing a beanie. The black on black is sleek and gives it a much nicer appearance than a typical beanie.
I have about 15 of the regular Carhartt beanies. When this one came out I immediately had to have it. Everyone always asks about it when I wear it because of the unique leather patch. Black label is the best.

Hat came on time. Took it out of shipping package and tried it on. Fits true to size. The black leather label gives it an added touch of class. Nice touch and feels cozy and toasty for blustery, winter days. Bring on the cold winter days. Hat will go well with my wool coat.

Nice toboggan but very disappointed. Based on the product photo the copper color looked like it had a metal plate emblem. The product description does state that the patch is sewn on but I only went by the photo because I didn’t think Carhartt would have a misleading photo. All of the other colors do look like sewn on patches. This was supposed to be a useful version of a traditional wedding anniversary gift for “copper and wool” so I was disappointed that we didn’t get the copper aspect of that. The product photo vs an actual photo I took are 2 completely different things. Our patch also has discoloring that runs right through the middle of the logo. I like carhartt but was a little disappointed in this purchase.
