The Shoreline Bib Overalls features:
Great Quality, I have the pants and jacket that I keep on my boat, It has kept me dry through many a rainstorm both in the US and in Canada.
They have been fantastic so far, great quality and usability. Worth every penny.
Best investment ever!! I work in the elements
fits good only complaint is the top snap on side zippers keep coming undone. It should be cut a little shorted on side to prevent this or a extra snap that secures over to the side more. other then that i like them a lot.
I use this for winter pushing snow and salting. Best ever !! At the end of a 24hr work shift and im covered in salt.. I just hose them off and there clean. DONT EVEN HAVE TO TAKE THEM OFF TO IT!!! CANT DO THAT IN REG. INSULATED BIBS.
Super warm and cut the wind. A lot thicker material than my older bibs. Stayed dry all day.
I am obsessed with these overalls. I love them so much, I bought two pairs. They are tough and waterproof. While I do wish they were also insulated, they are easy enough to layer under. I highly recommend. I especially love the zippers down both legs.<br /><br />Sizing: I am a female, 5'3'' and 170lbs, and I wear a Medium. <br /><br />A note for Carhartt: Your women's section sucks. It's like you don't expect that women also work outside in freezing temps, rain, and get muddy. While I am grateful to have gear that works beautifully, it would be nice not to have to deal with extra fabric in the pelvic area. Make clothing for women who do real work, not just wear cute stuff.
Nice bibs !!!
I never thought overalls were sexy until I saw my husband wearing these. The keep him dry all day when he works outside in the rain.
They fit great but after one day at work on my knees on concrete the knees are already coming apart. Wish I would have just got the normal kind of bibs.
love it ,this is the best sweatshirt it does shed light rain
Love it! Warm and great fit
They fit, they preform
Awesome bibs, lightweight stay dry. I use em for snowblowing the driveway, skiing. Also I wear em everyday at work during the winter
So much better than the old design!! This is much lighter, softer and more comfortable
Keeps me warm and dry. Love these in the weather ??
Seems durable, fits good.. have not had a good soaking rain yet..
Great product I certainly recommend Carhartt
I love this thing? I paired it with the matching jacket and a pair of rubber boots from Home Depot. This setup keeps me completely dry, and I bought it slightly bigger so that I can wear more layers in the winter rain. I fully recommend this item.
Great gear, great price.
Well, I bought these pants after getting wet working outside. I haven’t had to work in the rain since I bought them.????????
These bibs are absolutely amazing!! Not designed for heat, just to keep you dry!! And they do an exceptional job of just that!
Sizing didn't seem right to me. I where a 38 waist pants and needed to get these bibs in a 2X to have room to move.
Great product by a Great Company!
Great quality and durability. The only improvement I would like to see is normal side pockets. The bibs do run large and long.
I love them, thin and lightweight but they keep you warm at the same time! Tried them in normal rainfall and they performed great.
I’m going to keep this short it’s a good bib it is comfortable and does it’s job well
Awesome pants, great protection from foul weather. So nice I almost don’t want to use for work
They are perfect for my needs…waterproof, sturdy, comfortable and fit over my regular clothes. I especially like the fact that they are easy to slip on over my regular clothes due to the leg zippers and snaps.
Amazing I use it all the time when working in the cold or rain
Bought them to wear on my boat fishing in cold wet weather..the fit was great and I'm sure they will serve me well
My right leg zipper broke but other then that I was loving them
Excellent material for abrasion resistance. I am 6.2 and 185 lb and got the Large/Tall so I can wear pants or thermals underneath. They are true to size although I have the straps cinched all the way down. I really like the full side zips for easy on/off over boots, etc.
I finally purchased these after years of procrastinating. I am happy with the protection they provide as well as the weight and freedom of movement.
My new bid is the great quality you expect from Carhartt. It will be the first thing I pack for my spring fishing trip.
My husband picked these out, when they arrived I was surprised they were so light weight. Was hesitant, but man does he love them. He can move in them much better than the heavier style. They keep him just as warm and he is dry!! Ordering for others for Christmas, GREAT coverall! Snaps and zippers on the legs are adjustable which is really good also.
They are warm
Great! Warm and can move easily in them.
After a 10 hour day in constant rain i still get wet. All though they are the best that I have worn for the money I spent. Have recommended them to a lot of my coworkers. I work in the tree service and so for they work well. They were recommended by other tree guys that wear them. So far I love them.
So far so good. Only worn it twice. Waterproofing could be of greater ability. But I'll try some spray on stuff.
Purchased these for my husband. He fabricates granite and we live in Nebraska so during the winters, when he's cutting granite or polishing with water his pants and sweater would literally freeze. I'm happy to say that he's now coming home dry and staying toasty warm while at work in the winter time. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who works in cold wet conditions. Just follow the sizing guide and you should find the perfect fit! I did have to give functionality 4 stars because he complained about having to take the them off when having to go to the restroom. The front zipper could probably go down a little bit further for the shorter guys! Other than that these are perfect!
Great fit, warm and dry
Go with the other reviews on sizing as they seem to run large. Excellent choice to keep you warm, dry and light weight for all day comfort and durability
All your gear has proven great for the purpose.
Perfect as always
Awesome product! Fits perfect!
Really was looking forward to having them but the medium regular was HUGE so I returned and ordered the small, that was way too small so I now have neither. Needed something that fell in between sizes I guess.
These bibs are built to last. I wish they were a little more trim in the waist. They are Carharrt quality through and through.
Bought these bibs and matching jacket for cold weather fishing, and they are both exactly what I was looking for. Cheaper and better quality than most fishing specific rain suits. Was unsure of sizing so I wanted to post this for others in the same boat. I’m 6’1” 180lbs and the medium regular fit perfect. The bibs have a good amount of room for extra layers, but aren’t too big and baggy. Ordered a large at first and had to return them.
I do storm/disaster contract work for AT
They have worked well so far but I have had a downpour to test waterproof. The bibs could have an elastic band around the waste like other compeditors.
This is so much better than the old plastic non breathable gear. More durable too!
I used these skiing 3 days straight from greens to double blacks (on the eastern seaboard) these performed extremely well and kept me high and dry. Temps ranged from 20-50 throughout the days and nights and never felt like the bibs were lacking
Great for snow skiing, sized using Carhartt’s table and they fit great
They run a bit large which is perfect for layering but can be a bit bulky depending on what work you’re doing but I love mine and wear them often
bought this with the cryder jacket to stay warm and dry in that cool wet weather. Seems to be great quality.
Does the job well. Went with a size up and short to allow flexibility in layering underneath.
Light weight and very durable, worth the money for the quality!
Great product. Stood up to a decent briar patch without tears or punctures.
If it's Carhartt it's good quality!!!!
Exactly what I thought it would be!
Hell yeah brother great bibs
They are great.
These bibs are amazing. I bought them for my boyfriend to fish in and work when it's cold and rainy. They look so good on him. He wore them the other day fishing for the first time. He wore them over his AFTCO 3 in 1 jacket and he was looking like a snack ???? buy your husband these bibs. He will love them!
Absolutely great bibs. The only thing I could complain about, is that they aren’t the easiest to put on. They are the best bibs I’ve tried, though.
Bib fits as described. I particularly love the material used. It’s waterproof, but it feels more like fabric so its not as stiff as vinyl. Straps are a very dense elastic. I was initially shocked at the price, but this is definitely a case of, "you get what you pay for". I forsee many years of use from this gear.
Perfect fit and keeps me dry!
Very durable and waterproof so far. Glad to have these for cold/wet weather.
I bought them for my husband . He loves them. Keeps him warm and dry . Worth every penny.
Very warm yet breathable pair of bibs! These are a great product with a few more layers underneath for Colder weather. I would recommended this product and for someone who finds the lined bibs too warm, and needs something in between to stay comfortable. I paired it with the Jacket on a cold, windy, snow/sleet day and stayed warm and dry!
Do I have to say there carharts haven’t used them let but I know they will do fine!!!’
Love them. Keeps me dry and warm and keeps me clean.
These are super comfortable and breathable dispite their awesome water proofing... Nothing worse than working your behind off in the rain and having your rain gear betray you by being too water proof so that you still end up soaked just with sweat instead of rain. I live and work outdoors in the Pacific Northwest West and it's really nice to actually get to lunchtime and still be dry. The zippers on the legs make them super easy to put on and take off on those days when the weather can't make up it's mind, although they are honestly comfortable enough that you don't have to take them off even when the sun comes out. Only complaints are the bottoms of the legs could use a draw string cause the bottoms of my pants still got pretty wet on the first day I tried them but to be fair it was pouring buckets that day and the fact I was at all dry is basically a miracke... also I wish they were available in high visibility colours.
The bibs fit very well and run true to their size. They work great and don’t break the bank.
Very well made and super comfortable will be getting another pair when these are done... might be a while though these thing are tough good job
Outstanding rain gear. Fished over 14 days in the rain and cold without a seam leaking. The wrist are cut perfect to cover the back of your hand while allowing full palm exposure to cast and reel. The cuffs keep you dry when grabbing fish out of the water. By far the best gear I’ve had when the fishing gets nasty outside.
I wore this for the first time in a downpour during a fishing tournament. I stayed dry and comfortable the entire time. What I like best was there was no binding and I had full range of motion.
I can wear them at 40 degrees than wear them at -10 so far on the North Slope in the wind and I have no complaints they are just good prob the best I’ve worked in yet. I love them and recommend them strongly
Very nice very nice
This is an overall great rain bib. It fits well and has enough room to move around. I just wish there were a few more pockets.
I look so damn sexy in this bib. I got it for the upcoming ski season and I’m so stoked to use this winter!
So far so good. Have only worn once really on the farm. I love the zip from thigh to ankle for venting when it starts heating up. A nice zip pocket on the bib, decent pockets on the back. Definitely tough material but haven’t put it to the test really. Kept me dry all day while hosing stuff down and watering. <br />Buyer beware the length in the leg is way longer than the carhartt size guide. I am almost 6 feet and after having to return the long size because it was insanely long, I opted to buy the medium short and it is perfect for me.
they are fine but I was actually looking for a light weight rain suit.
I would highly suggest this item It works very well in the rain I had this item when I was 17 years old and still have it to this day I've been working in the outdoor world for a very long time this is the item you would need if you are working outdoors in poor rainy conditions.
awesome love these
I buy Carhartt products every year. I love the level of quality that Carhartt puts into their products. This Rainwgear Bib has matched and exceeded my expectations of another product from their product line.
Trust me I have tried a lot of rain gear over the span of my career working for the railroad. From cheap as I could find to expensive. And I can’t tell you how many times I have had rain pants rip stepping up on rail cars. Nothing worse than a wet $$$ when it’s cold and nasty. But these bibs.....game changer. They don’t bind up like the pants do. So when you are high stepping to get off or on a rail car they move with you... No more wet $$$. The zippers on the side make getting them on or off a breeze. Stay dry even in a driving rain. AND the best of all they breath better than pants. They are very durable.... stood up to knees down in the gravel lacing airlines on rail cars to climbing up and tying brakes.
It’s 3 inches long and they should make a pocket and a ring holster in the right leg too..!
waste a little tight, when bending over. Snaps come undone
These are absurdly good rain pants and they actually breathe. I have worked outside for 8 hours in pouring rain with theses on and at the end of the day was a little damp at the seams. Getting that level of rain protection with pants that actually breathe is and don't immediately start to feel sweaty and stuffy is amazing.
Although i have not had them very long they feel rugged <br /> and durable, not cheap thin plastic, only been in light rain so far, so haven't been tested in a downpour but stayed dry.
I used them for 12 hours at work and they did not perform as expected. I expected them to be completely water proof but I then realized that they won’t be waterproof if their not rubber. They were quite expensive too and I won’t be wearing them again. I still love carharrt though, great work clothes, just not the waterproof bib for my application.
It looks to be well made and durable. I had to exchange the small for a medium as it was too tight but the medium fits well. I have not had a chance to test it out yet, but I have no doubt it works as advertised.
I love Carhartt, it fit perfectly around my chest and waist, but, too long in the inseam. So, I gifted it to my commercial fishing friend.
Excellent product, very durable, waterproof, roomy, fit as expected.
Haven't yet had a chance to challenge these overalls but like them, especially the full zip legs
I would definitely recommend this product for anyone working outdoors in the rain. It most certainly wont let you down. I have only had them a year so far so I cant speak on longevity but great bibs. Only issue was the zipper is too high. Makes it awkward to urinate.
Awesome rain pants. Just as tough as the jacket that I ordered earlier. Professional grade apparel. Highly recommend.
I’ve been searching for awhile trying to find a pair of waterproof bibs where I didn’t have to take out a loan to purchase and these fit the bill perfectly
It’s a little baggy but they are pretty comfortable even in warm weather. I will be wearing these everyday
They looked fine, They were to long in the legs, I should have ordered the short not the medium as I did. I returned them, I will reorder after I receive refund
It’s better to wear for winter time
Love my new shoreline bibs. Fit very well with carhartt recommendations. Quality product and did very well in my first rainstorm. Using them on road construction jobs. Highly recommend.
Great water protection through a heavy rainstorm, only down side is the legs don't unzip all the way so it can be hard to get over boots quickly in changing weather patterns. Also they are a little warm in hot rainy weather but dry is better than wet any day
I could use front zip pockets in the legs. Otherwise 5 stars.
Not the most tear resistant. But a wicked bib overall great product.
Durable and warm. Easy to adjust
Honesty I like everything about them except the side zippers. The work themselves down and then split open. I have used them 3 times for snowmobiling and now I can no longer get use them because of the zippers.
They are very high quality. Very warm and comfortable
When delivering propane all day in wet cold winter conditions, I'm staying dry and looking good.
great bibs, very well made, heavy duty, the zipper style on the legs make it very easy to put on and off, double flaps over the zippers the snap shut, that will keep out the wind or rain, easy snap click buckle on the suspenders, i bought 4x because I'm 6.1 and 265 lb and like room over my jeans double shirts and extra room to move around and cast with no problem. very please to find the size that no one carries.. priced right. thank you..
As usual great quality, great fit and looks very durable. Thanks Carhartt
Purchased as a gift for my son in law, who works outdoors. They were perfect and exactly as described. He is warm and dry and happy!
Excellent at keeping me dry and keeping the wind out. Great addition to my winter kayak gear.
Perfect for calving cows and ranch work. They are warm and keep you dry
I have the shoreline pants also. The bibs are way more comfortable considering the time of year and how many layers I wear. Btw I ordered med- tall
So far, these bibs have held up well for cutting wood, working on the car, and general around the house chores. They seem to be waterproof and are holding up well. I added the knee pads which is an awesome combination. I am 6'3, 225 lbs and ordered a large tall. Fits great, just a little long in the legs by an inch or so.
Love this great on a rainy day on the job site keep you warm and dry true to size
I am using them as snowboard pant. Out of the box they are great, I added gaiter and I can't be happier.
They are Great, I just wish they had more pockets
Came so fast and was just as described my husband loves them would buy again
You should put these plastic clips on all your overalls. The metal ones come undone when bending over to get tools. Also add four more inches to the straps. Would love to buy this version in a summer weight. Thanks much!!
Excellent!! Wonderful quality and are holding up great doing oilfield work.
Fit well and was comfortable from upper 30 degree till 65 degree and sunny then I needed a little air so I removed them. They are well made and will work great for work or riding in side by side UTV during fall , winter, spring weather.
My son loves them. Was stoked! Thank you
Ride motorcycle s In Oregon never wet yet!!
I’m 6’5” 295 lbs, and these are very comfortable
my husband loves the shoreline bib and jacket-keeps him dry!
I wish they had a full front zip, but I knew they didn’t when I bought them. These are the perfect weight and water resistance. Also Carhartt brand, so durable. Bought these for the man, will buy another for myself here shortly.
Amazingly dry and lite but I wish they had bigger zippers!
These are the first pair of waterproof overalls I have owned, but I have used up more than 25 pairs that are not waterproof in the last 35 years. They give me good access to the tools I need. during wet weather here in the upper left U.S.A. [Inland Northwest]it can stay all day or just short showers. These have always keep me dry. After one year the knees are almost worn out so I am going to have another pair soon.
Used these during an atv trip with heavy rain. Held up just fine and mud rinsed off with the rain. I stayed warm and dry and could not have been happier.
Great product. Durable and water proof as advertised. Disappointed Carhartt is made in Mexico. Should be USA as expensive as they are. Nonetheless it's a great product that serves me well.
These bibs are awesome! I had the jacket for about 8 yrs before I bit the bullet and bought these bibs. I love them so much! I wear them while working on my farm. I have a market garden farm and these keep me dry in the spring rain.
The sizing is accurate, I'm 5'5" went with a short XL. Keeps the rain and wind off me when fishing in tough weather conditions.
please see if you sent correct
I ordered the extra small short but they were way too big. I have had other bibs by Carhartt in the small and they fit ok. Really sorry as I otherwise like the prodouct.
My Wife is amazed by them, AND YES SHE LIKES THEM MUCH!!!
I wouldn't use it for scalloping unless you're cutting scallops with an apron. I only use mine when I'm dealing with wet areas or mud; I wouldn't grab them if you're going lobstering scalping. These bibs are a way better alternate than wearing the standard oil gear for shore work. Has a pee zipper, huge plus.
Fits perfectly for a big guy. I'm 6", 300 lbs and always have trouble finding bibs that fit. These are perfect, and made from a strong durable waterproof material. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Great bib, cut a little baggy but that’s what they all are. Works great over jeans or sweats or even over another pair of insulated bibs to keep those waterproof. Great at stopping wind when you’re out on the water fishing too. Have recommended this to anyone I know who’s looking for new rain gear. Skip the $300-500 competitor rain gear and just get this
Good but no side pockets
Yes love the new bibs. Wish I could afford another pair to have for work!
I love my shoreline bibs. I have had a similar style (different model #, color, otherwise identical) for the past 6 years, they have performed awesome. The reason they had to be replaced, is because the full leg zippers failed. That is why I rated these 4 stars, as the side zippers could be more robust. The only other place my old pair showed wear, was down on the leg cuffs, abrasion from walking while coated in mud. Pretty normal. The material breathes well, and unless you're sitting in water on a seat, you'll stay dry. Has a front zipper to relieve yourself, but needs to be longer to function well, esp if you're wearing multiple layers. I find it easier to unzip the side zips down to the second button, un-clip the overall straps, fold the front down and go. Full length side zips make them easy to take on/off, no boot removal. I use these for work(excavation), snowmobiling, pressure washing, outdoor recreation, wrenching, etc. Used 5 months/year. 6'2", 175lbs, medium regular.
Pretty good overall, but lacking functional front pockets to keep things like gloves, flashlight, etc handy. Also cut a bit longer than needed.
High quality and great fit. Im short and stocky. Its not always easy to find a good fit. I am very happy with this purchase.
I have a pair of these bibs for work, and one day I was shopping for new snowboarding gear. After looking online and at various local board shops, I decided that if I want a product to keep me warm, dry and is extremely durable. I won’t find that anywhere else but, with Carhartt. So I purchased the Storm Defender Bibs and a matching jacket in black. Then after a few trial runs, I was so impressed I just bought my wife a pair of the Storm Defender pants for the same reason, which she wore today up at the mountain. At the end of the day we were both dry and warm, after playing in the deep snow all day. I’m glad I made this purchase and you will be too.
I bought these bibs for my job and they work great. I work in damp cold conditions and find that the bibs keep me worm and dry.
water beads up and runs off. bought for a wet hunting season and fishing. well worth money spent.
Perfect for roofing water and wind proof and keeps the wind from going up your back. You can where them more doing construction in the spring and fall compared to my insulated ones and don’t soak up any water
The bib fits well made great and gets plenty of compliments.
Great quality, confortable and for my job is resistant; of course is 100% recommended!!
So far it is great, comfortable fishing in, would purchase again.
These things fit great, and feel awesome!
My husband loves them, he is a Mason and works outside in all types of weather. Thank you!
Love them. They fit great for a big guy!
Would recommend these bibs to anyone..They are very comfortable durable, warm, waterproof and strong winds won’t cut through the fabric and to top them off there’s a front zipper !
6ft8 220lbs, large tall fit me real good with the braces maxed out (im normally a 36/36 in pants). In a perfect lanky world a bit more in the leg and on the braces would be perfect but these work good enough. There are 4 chest pencil pockets so I un-stitched the middle ones and now have two pencil pockets and a centre larger one that can fit say a box cutter or quick acess for phone (instead of using the zipped chest pocket).<br /><br />Bibs are great compared to pant versions (I''m now a firm convert). Loads of pockets on these bibs and kept my legs dry all day in torrential rain. Yet to try as ski trousers but will give them a go at some point.<br /><br />Thanks carharrt for doing actual tall sizes in clothes
These are excellent bibs! It poured rain the last two weekends and it kept me dry cutting Christmas Trees!
I am 6' tall and weigh 205...great product but way to big for me...had to return
These bibs are very easy to get on and off with boots on. Very well made and should last many years.
Bought for my husband - he's a tow truck driver and these are his favourite overalls - he wears them almost year round as it keeps him dry in wet weather, but he doesn't get too hot. He's just asked me to buy a few more pairs!
Great wind blocker. Wish it had side hand pockets like regular bibs. Haven’t had a chance yet to get real wet so can’t comment on the waterproofing. Working out in the Midwest, I’m comfortable with thermals and a pair of pants underneath in 20 degree weather. Anything colder, lined pants would be a enough. At 5’10” 180lbs, the large runs a little big but leaves room to layer and enough movement for squatting and kneeling. Only thing that concerns me is how well the knees will hold up over heavy use in the field.
Durable, comfortable, and keeps me protected from the weather.
Excellent product could fit a big guy belly a little in the zippers up high, an insulated option would be a great expense.
Allways a great product! Good fit and waterproof. Spent 4 days on Lake Fork in the rain matching jacket and bib worked great.
I love them! I have been using them off and on during Georgia's fall rain season paired with the shoreline vortex. They have kept me dry all day and the temp felt really well regulated. <br /><br />Note: nothing against the bibs but this material doesn't like anything hot. I have some small burn holes at the base of my ankle from a dirt bike exhaust.
Bibs were extremely heavy and bulky and would likely slow me down. Probably good and durable if you're doing limited amounts of exertion. I Also attempted to use Carhartt's "True Fit" guide to select my size and I ended up with bibs that were way over-sized for me.
The bibs fit just the way I wanted, and will last a long time.
Unlined keeps me dry and holds up to abrasion so far. I'm in and out of trenches with mud and concrete/asphalt. Definitely more breathable than a pvc type suit. After wearing them a day for work I let them dry out and brush the dirt off. Love how the legs unzip completely so you can put them on quickly and keep the inside clean.(unless your pants are already dirty of course)
I bought these to work in the rain. It hasn't rained yet but them seem to be of good quality. The true size app told me to get a size that was too large.
these overalls are a gift, I haven't given them yet!!!! The fabric had a wonderful silky feel. I will order more in the future. I do not have a camera to submit a photo.
I work for a ski area and needed a bomber pair over overalls that were both waterproof and durable. Unlike most ski specific pants on the market the Shoreline Bib held up to climbing lift towers, grease, and whatever I could throw at them!
The quality is there. This is a well made, effective pair of rain bibs. My advice to anyone is to buy them; just consider a couple things. 1.) Fit. I measure about dead center for a medium-regular and these are very long. With the straps tightened all the way they still drag behind my boots, and, I’ve learned, when the straps are tightened to that level they grind on one’s shoulder blades. Be prepared to give these a through trying on and run through once fully adjusted. 2.) Heft. While billed as “breathable,” these are spring and fall bibs. Maybe even winter with the right layering. A July thunderstorm in them would be murder. This is not a knock, just a heads up to find something lighter weight to stash in the boat for the heart of the summer. If you plan to wear the Shoreline Bib on a brisk autumn morning, give yourself enough time to return them for a better suited fit and you will love them. Don’t wear them despite the bad fit because it’s raining and realize later you’d be happier with a better size but you’re stuck with them. I did that. It sucks. Great product though, to be sure.
Bought this Overall to match the jacket. Because the Jacket was true to my needs, the Overalls were the perfect match. Quality is excellent and able to move freely without material sticking to my body when rain is coming down. West coast weather, I'm winning.
Everything they claimed to be.Meet all expectations and a perfect fit.Only thing that would be a nice addition would be front and back pockets with zippers.
I really like the quality. I will be using it on distance overnight sailboat races.
This bib is medium weight and is very comfortable to work in. I honestly don't even notice that I have them on, except if I try to go into my pants pockets. Carhartt made these very user friendly and it's very easy to put on/off and get into your pants/shirt pockets, whether it's front or back. There's no more struggling to get under your bib, if you purchase these.<br /><br />I use them for site/street work, digging holes and laying pipes. A lot of the time I'm in mud, muck, water or its raining or snowing. The zippers along the sides are great (especially with the flaps and buttons, to protect the zipper). I've always had issues with ripping zippers off of my bibs because of dirt getting stuck in the zippers. This is actually why I needed a new pair (I broke 3 zippers in a week, from another brand) <br /><br />Water hasn't penetrated through, at all and I haven't gotten wet because of sweat being trapped in them. The quality is good, comfort is great. But I do wish they had brown ones, so they'd match the dirt and I didn't look so dirty. Hi-Viz or reflection stripes would be a nice addition. <br /><br />I like the big zippered pocket on the front, it's good for phone and other stuff. The buttons on the bottom of the legs are nice to snug up, there are 2 tightness options. The elastic suspenders are very comfortable and don't rub the neck or fall off the shoulders. <br /><br />I really like this product and have recommended them to my coworkers.
Awesome! Kept me warm and dry when I shredded the gnar in the Rockies a couple weeks ago
So far I love it! Very durable, very comfortable, waterproof. Used the website size calculator and it suggested a Tall which would be fine if I was sitting all day as the pants are a bit too long when standing, but work great regardless. Would buy again without hesitation.
So far very durable and keep you dry, however they are on the heavier side. Great for the price!
Im, a tournament bass fishing angler who drives a boat at 64 mph across the lake, water travels up and under most rain gear not this no flapping and no moisture get though. It will also be great when i get caught on my Harley riding in the rain. perfect weight material to be durable and breathable you dont sweat like wearing trash bag light rain gear..
Keep me dry and very easy to put on and off .. fit is true to size
I shall start by saying this bib is what I wanted a water proof shell to be, with a catch. The inseam is too long. <br /><br />After reviewing the companys policy on exchanges, I cannot return the brand new garment for the shorter inseam option. <br /><br />The only options Im now faced with is either sell it or have it collect dust in my closet. <br /><br />I wish I could just exchange for a different size.
I love this bib, it’s light but keeps you warm. The adjustable straps with the buckles are amazing. My favorite thing about this shoreline bib is the adjustable snap leg at the bottom of the pants, there great on keeping snow out your boot. Would like to have side pockets tho
Comfortable, durable, what more could you ask for?
It's very tough and durable. for construction or work wear it would be nice if had reinforced again knees and had high visibility applied!! Only thing is it isn't shown in a store as a possibility I knew of the product so requested it.
works very well in the farm
I have yet to wear the bibs so this review will be on initial fit and construction. The size seemed to compare to other brand clothing I have in the same size and the tall size definitely gives you more length at 6'3" I'm happy to see that. As far as construction they seem well made and easy to get on and off. Would love to see a made in USA tag in them but all in all they seem like they will work well
The best bib and jacket you can buy. Keeps you dry and warm!!
Ready for the wet season.
I bought these at the arctic ocean when I realized I needed rain gear in alaska (duuh). got them right there on the top of the world, and rode with them through to the worst rain ive ever seen. even down in washinton on the Olympic coast where it rained torrential amounts for 9 hrs straight, no break in the storm. but alas the storm defender tech kept me warm and dry. but I think i've tested these to the limits and broken the storm defenders will, because they are now leaking right in the crotch....and no body wants to ride with wet crotch. which is sad because these are perfect for slipping on and off quickly for those sudden storms on the road.
I had these and they leaked and I only wear these 4 times in the rain smh
I have gone through numerous rain bibs and pants during the last 35 years, primarily for fishing. These are the highest quality that I have found. I expect many years of use from them.
These overall have exceeded my expectations. My intention was to use them as an outer cover for my daily motorcycle commuting. They have surpassed that goal, they have proven to be better than so called motorcycle specific riding gear and at 1/3 the price.
Great product in all aspects
Melissa (customer service), you were great! And thanks so much for your help. <br />Fred Tesch
Have not had bib overall but maybe a month. Not had to use yet. Did try them on and very pleased with the size. Will post again latter.
Great for calving
Had the matching jacket before I bought the pants. Very pleased with the jacket and so far the performance of the pants have met my expectations.
This was suggested to me by a family member. I ordered the bibs, and they are exactly what I ordered, what I thought they should be. TOTALLY satisfied!!
Comfortable and waterproof for four wheeling and railroading.
I use these for crop consulting on damp mornings and when it rains. These bibs are heavy duty and keep me dry. They stand up to the various terrains and fence lines that I have to work through. It can get warm inside if you are not constantly being soaked, but I wouldn't trade them off
I am 6'4", 190 lbs. and the large tall fit great in overall length, with a little extra room in the waist.<br /><br />I work outside in a quarry and with temps between 30-50 these keep you warm and dry. We had 60 mph gusts of wind with rain then other day and the bibs kept them both at bay.<br /><br />The only down side i find is that they melt when hit by slag from running a torch. But in fall fairness, nothing can handle torching, if it doesn't melt it burns.
Got these just in time for my first college fishing tournament of the year and I'm extremely happy with the purchase. I spent 4 days down in Tennessee getting battered by that super rain system that destroyed the south. Four days straight of off and on rain with one day having rained all day and I stayed completely dry. Needless to say I was rather impressed. They do run large, I ordered an XL Tall being that I'm 6'4" and I still had to adjust the straps to I wasn't stepping on them all day. I highly recommend these to any avid fisherman or outdoorsman.
I have worn these bibs every day through the Blizzard of 2016 in Virginia. I have stayed dry. Not gotten wet one time. They are the best waterproof bibs I've ever owned. They fit good and they are completely waterproof and they are very warm<br /><br />I also wanted to say that Brandon and Doug at the Carhartt store at Potomac town place are super employees they know the products they have all the answers and they make you feel like family when you're there shopping<br /><br />The Carhartt store at Potomac town place is a superstar store because of Brandon and Doug
