I really like these shirts so much so I’ve brought several of them and in doing so I’ve noticed a common problem with them. The thread seems to always hang and need to be cut or worse case keeps unraveling

I purchased 6 of these and have been wearing for 4 months. These are not good for the price... They snag on everything. I even got one snagged on a tarp. When they do snag they look terrible afterwards. I will not buy again.
These are the "must have" shirts for commercial construction workers. Type 2 is required. Breathable, moisture wicking, and quick drying. They are hugely expensive though.
Ordered a XL and it fits like a 2X it’s to long and baggy for the work I do.

This shirt is very light and durable and it’s perfect for my work in the field so I can be noticed.
These shirts last much longer than t shirts and feel better during the summer. It also saves wearing another vest when you're working in the road. I will keep buying these again and again.
I work in greasy and hot conditions most of the day. When i wear this shirt i do not have to wear a safety vest and its extremely comfortable to wear for several hours, and the moisture whicking technology is also something that makes those long days a little less hard on you.

I ordered the size that I always buy in the store because they were out and I had to go back to work. I purchased what I usually get or have purchased for more than 25 years and the three $35 shirts were too small and too short. I am in the process of sending them back for a refund. Since then I purchased two of the size I need from the store I usually get them from and that will do until they have more, I believe that the company had a batch problem and marked the 2x as 3x.

Bought five of these shirts after first wash they all have brown squares right in the middle of my chest. The sticker residue is still sticky even after being washed. I haven't even wore them yet and all five are permanently stained.

I ordered 4 of these shirts for son in law. Love carhartt. But this time carharttt let me down. One of the shirts he wore twice and the thread on sleeve seam began just pulling loose. To expensive to have that happen.

This is by far the best shirt I’ve bought I actually got caught in the rain and it may not be a Rain Defender but it dried pretty quickly. The stains come right out, so it is a great quality shirt that I highly recommend.
Best thing about the shirt is the material. Lightweight and cooler than cotton shirts.
The shirts themselves are great ! But the little square sticker up by the neck and chest area ! I had a heck of a time getting them to peel off and when I did get them they left all the sticky stuff on the shirt ! After numerous washes it still hasn't come off

The only issue I had was that even though I am tall and usually buy an XL tall, This shirt runs very long. So with Carhartt I will only buy XL's, but not the tall.
I ordered three large shirts, two of the shirts where the right size . The other shirt was more like a medium size. Other than that the quality of the shirts are great!

I would have gave a 5 star overall restating except the two stickers on the shirt, one long one with the size and another by the pocket we’re SUPER sticky and even though I know this is an issue, I decided to try these shirts. I pretreated those areas with dawn dish soap, in hopes of releasing the sticky area, and washed them before they were wore and hung them to dry. Each time my husband wears a shirt, the areas where the stickers were show. Obviously dust sticks to them. I still have not dried them in the drier in fear the drier will set the stickiness into the shirt. <br />Other than this, the shirts are very roomy, wash nicely and are SUPER cool in our 90° temperatures we have been having in Minnesota for my husband who works construction.

For work these shirts are awesome. Keep you cool and dry while providing visibility working in or near traffic. One of great things about this shirt is how the reflective stripping is separated. I’ve used other brands in the past and after washing them they seem restrictive in movement because the reflective strips shrink and they have no give in them. The sizes do seem to run a little big and if you have a choice the orange seems to hide dirt a little better.
He loves it we will be ordering more.
My husband first purchased these about 4 years ago and he likes how the stripes are not confining as they stretch not like other safety shirts. Great quality and last for a long time.
Very comfortable in this Stockton, Ca Heat!! Keeps me cool and dry all Summer long in The 209!! Memo to Quality Control - please eliminate that long “size” sticker on the front!! All dust and material sticks to it for I now have a dirty stripe down all my shirts ?????????????? Yes yes I wash them but I do work around Gypsum, cement, coal, barite, steel etc. THANKS IN ADVANCE - Manuel #20916
I like the shirts, but the tag (sticker) on the front of the shirts left a very sticky residue that won’t come off. And of course the stickiness collects dirt. I’ve tried Goo Gone, fingernail polish remover, and Dawn dish soap with a toothbrush. Why would you use such a heavy glue to put on a sticker that gets taken off before you wear or wash it???
Great shirts but do run a little bit smaller then carhartt tee shirts still fits great!
I like the quality of the shirt and the reflectors. Other reflectors tend to fade quickly after a wash.

I really wanted to give these shirts a 5 star. They're very cool and fast drying as advertised. These seem to be built to the tank like standard that I expect of Carhartt. Well, 3 washes in and the stitching at the sleeve hem is all unraveling. That makes $10 per wear before the fall apart. Pathetic.
My boyfriend loves these shirt- very light weight material, and durable. Washes great. I ordered a 2XLT, which are slightly loose, but comfortable and long enough since he is tall. Definitely would recommend.

Didn't fit as it should! I own force tee shirts that are great! I got the same size in the force high viz and it was huuuuggeee!!! I just wish these companies would try and stay consistent about where they're products are made!! Or, at least demand more quality and consistency from those who are making them! What so they care though??? They're rich!!! We're just peasants.

Did not fit all that well even with the right size the collar on the shirt was really loose.
I've wore these for the 3 years now, and they have made me feel more comfortable and safe working in the roadway on traffic signals. I have wore them 5 out of 7 days a week for near all three years, cold, hot, rain, snow/sleet (With a Rain Defender hoodie in the winter months). It breaths well, feels smooth and soft, releases stains, it stretches and then returns to normal when relieved, and it is bright at night, and for the price point they are worth it, what more could you possibly want. Lastly, I have not thrown a single one of the 10 I have away, in three years of hard abrasive labor.
I really love these shirts, BUT I have had them for about three months and the treads are coming lose in the middle of the shirt. I also have stains on them and for some reason they will not come out. we have tried several things to use but they are not working. I tried to take a picture of the shirt but you could not see the spots or where the tread was coming out.
Shirt is super comfortable. Thought it might have felt weird with the reflective straps on it but it didn't at all. Light weight and didn't feel like I was wearing a shirt at all. So nice I ordered a 2nd one in orange.

I love the way the reflective stripes are "broken " instead of solid, it is a huge difference from the tight restrictive solid bars. I think i ordered 2x tall and it fits great, stays tucked in so no plumber's crack! I am 5ft 11in and 280lbs for the record. It breathes much better than what my employer purchased. The 1 and only downfall is stains DO NOT come out. I definitely will be ordering more. Lastly I read reviews complaining about the neck being tight......my neck measures 17.5inches and i don't think there is an issue.

the shirts are good quality but the stickers put on them need to go, i read reviews before i purchased these and the same problem has happened numerous times before, i figured the problem had been worked out, it has not. the stickers left Staines on the shirt. if you stop using the stickers i would recommend this shirt, but if not then i would not. nobody wants to pay $35 for a shirt that has sticker stains before even being worn the first time. i wash everything i wear before being worn for the first time
Buy these every year for my son who works with roadside crews and has to be highly visible to motorists. Shirts are great!

I have already owned 3 of these shirts and they are a life saver in the summer time when you have to wear a high visibility clothing. The venting works so well I for get am even wearing it.
I love these shirts and have had one for a year or so and decided to buy a few more. Like many other reviews, the “stain breaker” sticker left a residue on both shirts I purchased and it is not coming off. I tried goof off and washing per the instructions and the tackiness is gone but the stain is not. I’m not very happy with this purchase and it doesn’t seem like Carhartt has addressed this. Please put these stickers on a tag!

Not feeling this shirt. I recently purchased two of these shirts as carhartt stopped offering the force extreme t-shirt in hi vis colors orange and yellow. Thats all I wear at work as most job sites around here require hi vis colors. Decided to try purchasing these shirts instead. <br /><br />Not a fan of the fit. Seems sloppy and does not drape well. Not a fan of the mesh weave or whatever you call it going on with the fabric. Haven't even worn them yet as I am still in love with my force extreme shirts in orange and yellow.<br /><br />Carhartt, bring back the orange and yellow force extreme t shirts!!!
Love the shirts , but hate the stickers on them. The stickers leave residue on shirts and have to use adhesive remover to get it off.

Awesome shirts very good quality and a good fit very comfortable and dries very fast when gets wet and stains come out very well I wear a xxl but I ordered xl tall fits better than 2 xl. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying these. I ordered both colors but like the orange the best.
Of all my hi vis shirts these are my favorites, but as well as they last, the neck opening could be larger. Also, you guys at the company must not wear your own shirts. Quit putting stickers on the shirts. The glue is next to impossible to get off and turns into a dark spot when dirt gets on it. Finishing on a high note though these shirts dry quickly and don't hold odors like some poly fabrics do.

I got this shirt because another hi-vis shirt had solid reflective tape that didn't stretch. This one dies, and is more comfortable. The only negative thing about this shirt is that the neck is tight, and slightly uncomfortable.
Neck size is tight and one of the 4 shirts ordered did not contain the Force emblem on the left sleeve.

Does not come in tall. I love the feeling of the shirt and it keeps me fairly cool in the summer. If this came in tall I'd be very happy. I'm a guy who likes tucking my shirt in and I can't do that with this shirt as it'll untuck as I move in the slightest.

First off this is one of the most expensive safety shirts out there... Was hoping it was worth the money...<br />By far the tightest XL shirt I have ever bought! The collar will chock you to death and after one wash it looks like a belly shirt !<br />Don't waste your money... Very Very Disappointed!
Purchased these because I have always bought Carhartt products and always durable but these shirts to me are awful. Got them in the mail and took off the tags and the front stickers, which left the adhesive on the shirt and attracted all the dirt and dust so it looked ridiculous. Within an hour of having my first shirt on it was already snagged in the front just below the pocket. Same happened on my second shirt with the sticker adhesive. After getting home from my trip, I travel for the railroad, I washed both my new shirts and after that I looked at them but where the stickers and adhesive were the dirt and dust were still on them.<br /><br />The pros to these shirts are they are very lightweight, comfortable and stretch very easily. The reflective is ironed on so that is nice, not stitched like other brand are so it freely flexes with your movements.<br /><br />I don't think for the price I will purchase these again in the future, rather go with my works own version of this shirt.
Truck driving husband wears t-shirts and long-sleeve shirts. They clean well and hold up to his rough handling. Normally get 1.5 year's wear but add new as necessary. Highly recommend.
My favorite shirt but after 1 wash is unwearable. Any change you're gonna make these in tall? While they are big enough they run short for tall guys especially after a wash.
I am very happy with the breathability and wicking features of this shirt. It is worn and washed daily up to five times a week, and the color has not faded or the reflective material cracked. I do use a laundry bag to protect the shirt though. I am very disappointed that Carhartt is not offering tall sizes in this shirt. It's frustrating having to wear a baggy shirt that still does not cover my back side. There is a set of large tags on the left side seam which can be irritating when you are bending and moving while working.
If your going to be doing any cutting or grinding this shirt is terrible, just melts and gets full of burrs. The Hi-Vis properties are excellent, would be perfect if you could get this same shirt in 100% Cotton!!!
The material is stretchy and pleasant. It dries quickly. I have a wide variety of tasks from sitting at the computer to being out in the woods. Yesterday I found myself tangled up in some briars. When I got free of them, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were no snags in the fabric.
Great shirt if all your doing is holding a stop sign. However if you are a working man like myself the shirt didn't last 2 hours before it was falling apart.
