I’m a landscaper and this is good shirt when it’s hot. The fit is loose which is great for mobility. The neck is perfect But the one thing I don’t understand is why oh why are there tags on the inside side? If you yank them out it leaves a nice hole. For the love stop putting tags on shirts.

Normally these shirts are great. This one had threads loose on the bottom hem. There was 5 specific sites that the hem threads were pulled. If the threads would have been cut the hem would totally unravel. The defect was not noted until my husband wore the shirt for the first time.
These shirts shrink after a couple washes and stain really easily(but that's most high vis). My biggest issue with them is that no matter what I do to wash them they smell. It's like they hold in the smell of your sweat. I washed 3 shirts by themselves 3 times in a row and they still have a smell to them. Not worth it. The Dickies shirts at Walmart are better and cheaper.
Unfortunately it seems that the quality has taken a dive I love these shirts for work but the seams come undone after one washing and o never uses to have any issues in the past
They work good just wish they didn't stain so easy.

Fits large, but comfortable. I'm 6'5" 240 lbs, and I ordered both an XL Tall and a Large Tall and the Large Tall fits best. Keeps me cool on the job. The material is stronger than it looks. Probably the best high viz out there. Only brand that comes close is Hanes Dri-Fit. I still like Carhartt a lot more.

I would definitely recommend this shirt for anyone working in the heat and humidity. It helps me to feel cool and dries almost instantly when getting my sweat on. I just found out yesterday it also dries pretty fast when you get caught in a thunderstorm and get hit with heavy rain.

Never been big on Carhartt for anything. But when I started at KC I got some Carhartt Force high vis shirts and let me just tell you, Carhartt and them force shirts are absolute garbage. <br /><br />Just do yourself a favor and go spend money on Ariat clothes/work clothes/boots/work boots. <br /><br />I’ve put a hurting on a pair of Ariat boots, steel toes, and a couple of pair of jeans over the last few years and they are still holding up great. <br /><br />Meanwhile those garbage Carhartt Force shirts have threads falling out after 4 weeks and will get a permanent stain if you look at them wrong. <br /><br />Should have just ordered the Ariat Rebar Heat Fighter high vis from the start. <br /><br />Bought lesson is a learned lesson I reckon.
I really like the shirt but the color description was a off in my opinion. I’m keeping it because I didn’t wanna send anything back and it was only $20 but I would consider that shirt “highlighter yellow” or “safety yellow” and not “ lime green”. No complaints about the shirt itself, just that.
They keep you cool but they get snagged on everything and end up looking very rough very quickly. I liked the older, smoother version a lot better and wish they would bring it back at least as an option.

Good for outdoor work but not for general construction/rough-in work. You'll get hung up one thread at a time until the entire shirt falls apart
The shirt is nice and I like the way they fit and feel. Two issues: they tend to shrink over their life and get too short for me and they do not really resist stains. In fact, if they get dirty, it is nearly impossible to get perfectly clean.
Came in with stitching missing on the sleeve and now it’s completely gone after one wash. Also the stitching was messed up at the color so it’s pulled together at the neck. Have never bought a carhartt shirt as bad as this one.
My husband says they’re wonderful….the best thing that ever happened!
This shirt stains super easy and it doesn’t come out. After a couple times wearing it look like a old rag you use to change you truck oil.
It snags so bad and they run a little large.

WARNING!! When the shirt gets against something hot it melts. I was changing the line on my trimmer head, the head was hot and it melted the shirt where the I had held the trimmer head.. That doesn't happen with the cotton shirts. Wish they still made Hi-Vis in cotton.<br />Gotten so fancy they aren't practical.

Breathable material so it keeps me cool. When I sweat the material does not stick to my skin. Traditional cotton sticks to my skin so I prefer the material on this shirt more. Very comfortable shirt.
I didnt realize i was buying a mesh shirt. think the brother in 50 first days.. wont be wearing that to work. or at all or that matter.

Shirts are very comfortable and breath great on a hot day. Only down fall is they tear easily. First board I put over my shoulder tore a string out and ripped a 3” line.
Husband wears these all summer long on the job site and normally when off too. They keep him cool and dry

I dont know why Carhartt doesn't sell the normal cotton hi vis shirts anymore. Those were way better than these. When you first put these shirts on, they feel great for hot days. They let a lot of air breathe through. However, within the first couple of minutes wearing these shirts, the material would snag on some sort of metal on the jobsite, beam, strut, etc. And the shirt thread gets snagged. By the end of the first day, there were about 20 different snags all over this shirt. They also seemed to shrink a lot more than normal carhartt shirts. I'm 6'8 and the 2X tall always fits perfect. These shirts became belly shirts after the first couple washes. If you read this review Carhartt, please bring back the normal hi vis shirts, and the force hi vis t shirts! Please!

Remind me of my golf shirts. The shirts are very comfortable and do their job wicking your sweat away from you. Very easy to clean out stains. The only thing my wife complains about is that do they have to be so bright. In my wife's own words , I hope Carhartt could make some normal colors LOL.

Never let them see you sweat! I found these shirts a few years ago, and can’t survive the summer with out them. This design is special because it Doesn’t have the silver reflective strips. ( which just adds weight and heat) most retailers only carry the reflecting style. I ordered direct from the carhartt.com website, they shipped quickly and emailed me when they arrived. There are only two negatives, I wouldn’t recommend them for welding, ( sparks and polyester don’t mix) and they get dirty fairly easily. But when your co-workers’ shirts are filled with water and hanging like dresses. You will be cool and dry. Ps follow washing instructions and don’t use dryer sheets for maximum performance.

Feel the breeze flow through. Essential gear for days too hot to work but you work anyway. Durable enough for all the wear, abuse, sweat and grime of your normal work day. Washes pretty well after most days.

Bought this for my boyfriend who is a plumber. Even after using great washing methods it still stains but not as bad as cotton shirts. Runs a little large, very breatheable.

Breathable and bright. Fiber snags a little easily around any sharp edges or corners but so far they seem to just pull back into place. Not as stain resistant as I would hope based on the description but I didn’t expect it to be. Perfect work shirt. 4 stars for the snags that could eventually cause some permanent wear and tear.
Great shirt, but sizing seems pretty big. Comfortable, breathable, dries quickly, very bright. Runs fairly large. I would get a size below the t-shirt size you normally wear. (All my shirts are larges. I wish I had gotten a medium for this one.)

This is a great shirt. It fit exactly as listed. I bought it for cycling in the summer so I would be highly visible. It works! Being a female, I was pleased to find that it wasn’t too long. I only wish that Carhartt would make these in a sleeveless style.

Well I wear a 2x tall in the original shirt but I guess being it’s a different material I need to go up to 3x. But being that I already washed em I guess I’m stuck with em.

Very comfortable work shirts
These shirts are great for the price and are very comfortable. I would have given them a 5 star rating but I do not like that carhartt applied stickers to the front of these shirts. The adhesive will not come off and when they get dirty you can see where the stickers were and ot will not come clean. I tried to remove the adhesive and the now dirt and discolored my shirts.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size ordered ex large should have ordered large.
I where a medium in all other Carhartt shirts these shirts however run extremely big compared to the other Carhartt shirts I have. I didn't even think about the size being a problem so I took the tags off put them in the wash then grabbed one to wear for work and boom it hit me, way to big. <br />Aside from that the material seems to be very light weight and breathable. But like others have reviewed the neck is a bit snug so I don't understand how the shirt is so baggy with a tight neck. <br />AND buyer beware this is another product Carhartt no longer actually makes in the USA it's made in Mexico...
Bought a few of them (high vis green and orange) for my son for work. He likes them a lot…says they don’t hold in the sweat (are breathable) and are comfortable. He has gotten a few pulls on them, though. They wash well.
I would recommend this product it wicks away moisture very well.

I have a few of these in Orange and Lime. They work as advertised keeping you cool. I recommend orange, it blends with more lunch time ooops. The lime ones seem to showcase any and all slops and stains.

The Carhartt Force shirts are so much cooler than cotton tees. I work outside on the Gulf Coast and these shirts are awesome for the heat and humidity that I work in. I think this is my third order. I have been buying Carharrt for many many years because of the quality construction. I finally wore out my Carharrt overalls that I bought in 2004. I plan on ordering some longsleeve force shirts because they are great undershirts for the mild Texas winters. I recommend these shirts for the working man. I am a longshoreman and they are tough enough for me.
These shirts hold up really well. They wick away the sweat and keep you dry on hot sunny days. The do stain from oil and grease. But would definitely recommend
I have only had the shirts for a couple of weeks and they seem durable enough. They fit true to size and are comfortable. The adhesive from the stickers stayed on the shirt and did not come out in the wash. There were a few loose threads (snags) on 2 of the 3 shirts I ordered when they came out of the package. For a $20 work shirt I can live with it.

I really like this shirt. Just one of the things I like about it many others don't -- that is the tighter next. I can understand if you have a large neck, you may feel like this shirt is too tight in the neck area. However, I don't have a large neck and finally have a shirt that doesn't feel like it's bagged out. Bought the bright lime, but now plan on buying the bright orange shirt as well. Great when in the sun doing landscaping work. Dries super fast!

Not very durable
The sticker on the shirt was really hard to peal off and after I got it off, attracted all the dirt from construction site and now has a stain that doesn’t come off. Additionally, I didn’t order tall length but both of the shirts came in tall
This is the first time I tried the force line, I love it nothing but force for me. On a 98 degree day my shirt stayed dry... go for it!

Love them (well my husband does) He says they are the best.He wishes he could get them in something other then neon. Other than that he says they wick the wet away and keeps him cool. He has been replacing vinyl siding on storm damage homes all summer and it really gets hot under the blistering sun.Great product, We recommend them to anyone that works outsidein the heat.

This is the second set of this style shirt we have ordered. We ordered larges before, unfortunately they run HUGE. But at least we didn't have issues with them. We have also ordered other styles shirts in the past and have sent them in for credit and reordered, so we usually don't complain to much. <br /><br />With that all said, we read on previous reviews that the stickers leave a residue when removing. Well that happened to us as well. SO it appears Carhartt ignored those individuals and didn't address the issue and are still sending out the shirts with the same problem. That is what happened to us. Everyone of the shirts, the square sticker under the collar left its residue behind and you can't get it out without ruining the shirt. Carhartt's answer, whoops sorry. Send it in for credit and reorder. Nobody has time for a big corporation sticking it to us little corporations so we have decided to move our companies apparel away from Carhartt. Hope this review helps you in making your shirt decisions.

I love these shirts because of the material. It hangs nicely without clinging to you, and it breaths much better than cotton. I’ve read some complaints about the neck being too tight, but that is one of the things I like about it, nothing worse than a t-shirt with a saggy neckline.

Really nice feel, I like the fit and length. I wear a medium and the size was right on. The only thing I don’t like was the place the sticker was on the shirt , it left some residue from the adhesive and it got dust on it and I can’t remove the dust due to the shirt having so many holes in it, making the little square sticker always having a mark on it. Not sure how to clean it off. But it was a great purchase otherwise. Never got too sweaty in it.

This shirt has been very comfortable and very good in keeping me cool on 100 degree California heat! The breeze seem to pass easily through it
These shirts fit very well around the chest and waist. They were not too loose nor too tight. The Neck was a little snug and may not work for those with large necks. I buy the Tall version and these tucked in very well without coming out of pants when bending. I wear 2XL Tall. I am 6ft 2in tall and 260 lbs. They appear to be very durable but I have only worn them two times so my rating on these is without extensive use.
As a utility line inspector, walking in the hot sun, and being and older guy, overweight, etc, produce body moisture in excess, so this shirt with a pocket is exactly what I like to use, for the purpose. I have done this similar work two other times during the summer months in Fla, and I had two of these in my stash, but haven't been able to find any stores that carried much stock. So I ordered on line, and happy for it.
They look great but they are a little tight around the neck. I don't recommend this product if you work around sharp edges cause they are constantly getting caught and they the fibers fray and cause lines. The fabric is comfortable though. They should make a v-neck version.
This shirt is nice and comfortable. Very bright. Washes well. I haven't dried it yet, and probably won't. <br />The only thing I don't really like is that it is more of a crew neck, and is a little too tight for my taste.
I love this shirt. It keeps me cool when it's hot it's very breathable vents well doesn't stick to you when you sweat. The only thing is it runs big so that may help out with the cooling process

I have this shirt in orange and it is incredibly bright. You and everyone around you will want sunglasses on when they look at this shirt. Excellent visibility. This shirt breathes well and is made from a flexible stretchy material. Has a front chest pocket. Wouldn't want to wear this in a dirty or snag intensive environment.
These are very comfortable shirts to work in and wear in hot weather. However, after the second wash and dry I pulled the shirt from the dryer to find that the hem on the sleeve had halfway come free. I have also found that the shirt snags way to easily when working. Most of my work clothing is Carhartt and they have always been quality clothing but these shirts really lack in the quality department.
Not as cool to work in as I was hoping for. Snagged in the first 5 minutes. Front is already filling with long pulls from pretty light work. I have old running shirts that I work in for hot outdoor jobs that are lighter and less fragile than this, so a decent, light and durable shirt should not be impossible. Cotton alternative is out if the question for hot jobs, or cold wet job as far as I'm concerned. Cotton kills! Nice try and I'd like to see more products in this area from Carhartt, just better than this one.
I wear this short to work every day. This shirt is terrible about snagging things and ripping or little pieces of the shirt come out and it creates a line on the shirt. If it tears out you get a hole in the top layer.
I really like the shirt but needs to come in tall sizes. I wear a tool apron and I tuck in my shirts. This shirt is a little short on me.
As a job site work shirt it fits the bill. Unlike cotton it retains its fit regardless of sweat or rain. It comes out of the washer almost dry so it's obvious the wicking technology is top notch. I highly recommend it for both functionality and cost.

I’m a landscaper and this is good shirt when it’s hot. The fit is loose which is great for mobility. The neck is perfect But the one thing I don’t understand is why oh why are there tags on the inside side? If you yank them out it leaves a nice hole. For the love stop putting tags on shirts.

Normally these shirts are great. This one had threads loose on the bottom hem. There was 5 specific sites that the hem threads were pulled. If the threads would have been cut the hem would totally unravel. The defect was not noted until my husband wore the shirt for the first time.

These shirts shrink after a couple washes and stain really easily(but that's most high vis). My biggest issue with them is that no matter what I do to wash them they smell. It's like they hold in the smell of your sweat. I washed 3 shirts by themselves 3 times in a row and they still have a smell to them. Not worth it. The Dickies shirts at Walmart are better and cheaper.

Fits large, but comfortable. I'm 6'5" 240 lbs, and I ordered both an XL Tall and a Large Tall and the Large Tall fits best. Keeps me cool on the job. The material is stronger than it looks. Probably the best high viz out there. Only brand that comes close is Hanes Dri-Fit. I still like Carhartt a lot more.

I would definitely recommend this shirt for anyone working in the heat and humidity. It helps me to feel cool and dries almost instantly when getting my sweat on. I just found out yesterday it also dries pretty fast when you get caught in a thunderstorm and get hit with heavy rain.

But when I started at KC I got some Carhartt Force high vis shirts and let me just tell you, Carhartt and them force shirts are absolute garbage. <br /><br />Just do yourself a favor and go spend money on Ariat clothes/work clothes/boots/work boots. <br /><br />I’ve put a hurting on a pair of Ariat boots, steel toes, and a couple of pair of jeans over the last few years and they are still holding up great. <br /><br />Meanwhile those garbage Carhartt Force shirts have threads falling out after 4 weeks and will get a permanent stain if you look at them wrong. <br /><br />Should have just ordered the Ariat Rebar Heat Fighter high vis from the start. <br /><br />Bought lesson is a learned lesson I reckon.

WARNING!! When the shirt gets against something hot it melts. I was changing the line on my trimmer head, the head was hot and it melted the shirt where the I had held the trimmer head.. I dont know why Carhartt doesn't sell the normal cotton hi vis shirts anymore. Those were way better than these. When you first put these shirts on, they feel great for hot days. They let a lot of air breathe through. However, within the first couple of minutes wearing these shirts, the material would snag on some sort of metal on the jobsite, beam, strut, etc. And the shirt thread gets snagged. By the end of the first day, there were about 20 different snags all over this shirt. They also seemed to shrink a lot more than normal carhartt shirts. I'm 6'8 and the 2X tall always fits perfect. These shirts became belly shirts after the first couple washes. If you read this review Carhartt, please bring back the normal hi vis shirts, and the force hi vis t shirts! Please!

Never let them see you sweat! I found these shirts a few years ago, and can’t survive the summer with out them. This design is special because it Doesn’t have the silver reflective strips. ( which just adds weight and heat) most retailers only carry the reflecting style. I ordered direct from the carhartt.com website, they shipped quickly and emailed me when they arrived. There are only two negatives, I wouldn’t recommend them for welding, ( sparks and polyester don’t mix) and they get dirty fairly easily. But when your co-workers’ shirts are filled with water and hanging like dresses. You will be cool and dry. Ps follow washing instructions and don’t use dryer sheets for maximum performance.

I where a medium in all other Carhartt shirts these shirts however run extremely big compared to the other Carhartt shirts I have. I didn't even think about the size being a problem so I took the tags off put them in the wash then grabbed one to wear for work and boom it hit me, way to big. <br />Aside from that the material seems to be very light weight and breathable. But like others have reviewed the neck is a bit snug so I don't understand how the shirt is so baggy with a tight neck. <br />AND buyer beware this is another product Carhartt no longer actually makes in the USA it's made in Mexico...

The Carhartt Force shirts are so much cooler than cotton tees. I work outside on the Gulf Coast and these shirts are awesome for the heat and humidity that I work in. I think this is my third order. I have been buying Carharrt for many many years because of the quality construction. I finally wore out my Carharrt overalls that I bought in 2004. I plan on ordering some longsleeve force shirts because they are great undershirts for the mild Texas winters. I recommend these shirts for the working man. I am a longshoreman and they are tough enough for me.

I really like this shirt. Just one of the things I like about it many others don't -- that is the tighter next. I can understand if you have a large neck, you may feel like this shirt is too tight in the neck area. Love the fit and feel!Only prob I had was a gooey sticker that's by the neck. Left a sticky black mark that is hard to get off. But after about ten washes it goes away. Great shirt tho. Will buy again!!

Love them (well my husband does) He says they are the best.He wishes he could get them in something other then neon. Other than that he says they wick the wet away and keeps him cool. He has been replacing vinyl siding on storm damage homes all summer and it really gets hot under the blistering sun.Great product, We recommend them to anyone that works outsidein the heat.

This is the second set of this style shirt we have ordered. We ordered larges before, unfortunately they run HUGE. But at least we didn't have issues with them. We have also ordered other styles shirts in the past and have sent them in for credit and reordered, so we usually don't complain to much. <br /><br />With that all said, we read on previous reviews that the stickers leave a residue when removing. Well that happened to us as well. SO it appears Carhartt ignored those individuals and didn't address the issue and are still sending out the shirts with the same problem. That is what happened to us. Everyone of the shirts, the square sticker under the collar left its residue behind and you can't get it out without ruining the shirt. Carhartt's answer, whoops sorry. Send it in for credit and reorder. Nobody has time for a big corporation sticking it to us little corporations so we have decided to move our companies apparel away from Carhartt. Hope this review helps you in making your shirt decisions.

I love these shirts because of the material. It hangs nicely without clinging to you, and it breaths much better than cotton. I’ve read some complaints about the neck being too tight, but that is one of the things I like about it, nothing worse than a t-shirt with a saggy neckline.

Really nice feel, I like the fit and length. I wear a medium and the size was right on. The only thing I don’t like was the place the sticker was on the shirt , it left some residue from the adhesive and it got dust on it and I can’t remove the dust due to the shirt having so many holes in it, making the little square sticker always having a mark on it. Not sure how to clean it off. But it was a great purchase otherwise. Never got too sweaty in it.

These shirts fit very well around the chest and waist. They were not too loose nor too tight. The Neck was a little snug and may not work for those with large necks. I buy the Tall version and these tucked in very well without coming out of pants when bending. I wear 2XL Tall. I am 6ft 2in tall and 260 lbs. They appear to be very durable but I have only worn them two times so my rating on these is without extensive use.

As a utility line inspector, walking in the hot sun, and being and older guy, overweight, etc, produce body moisture in excess, so this shirt with a pocket is exactly what I like to use, for the purpose. I have done this similar work two other times during the summer months in Fla, and I had two of these in my stash, but haven't been able to find any stores that carried much stock. So I ordered on line, and happy for it.

They look great but they are a little tight around the neck. I don't recommend this product if you work around sharp edges cause they are constantly getting caught and they the fibers fray and cause lines. The fabric is comfortable though. They should make a v-neck version.

This shirt is nice and comfortable. Very bright. Washes well. I haven't dried it yet, and probably won't. <br />The only thing I don't really like is that it is more of a crew neck, and is a little too tight for my taste.

I have this shirt in orange and it is incredibly bright. You and everyone around you will want sunglasses on when they look at this shirt. Excellent visibility. This shirt breathes well and is made from a flexible stretchy material. Has a front chest pocket. Wouldn't want to wear this in a dirty or snag intensive environment.

These are very comfortable shirts to work in and wear in hot weather. However, after the second wash and dry I pulled the shirt from the dryer to find that the hem on the sleeve had halfway come free. I have also found that the shirt snags way to easily when working. Most of my work clothing is Carhartt and they have always been quality clothing but these shirts really lack in the quality department.

Not as cool to work in as I was hoping for. Snagged in the first 5 minutes. Front is already filling with long pulls from pretty light work. I have old running shirts that I work in for hot outdoor jobs that are lighter and less fragile than this, so a decent, light and durable shirt should not be impossible. Cotton alternative is out if the question for hot jobs, or cold wet job as far as I'm concerned. Cotton kills! Nice try and I'd like to see more products in this area from Carhartt, just better than this one.

I wear this short to work every day. This shirt is terrible about snagging things and ripping or little pieces of the shirt come out and it creates a line on the shirt. If it tears out you get a hole in the top layer.

As a job site work shirt it fits the bill. Unlike cotton it retains its fit regardless of sweat or rain. It comes out of the washer almost dry so it's obvious the wicking technology is top notch. I highly recommend it for both functionality and cost.

The product says about its stain technology, but this shirt is more like a stain magnet and once it is on nothing will take it off. Great shirt other than that and the price is a little high and hate that it is not made in America.
